As I Predicted Mike Nattrass IS Joining The extremist Nationalist & racist EDP! Something of ‘out of the fire & into another’ as Nattrass returns to his roots of the extremist Nationalist & racist New Britain Party he WAS in!
OR NOT as conflicting media stories show!
OR perhaps more aptly – ‘Much ado about nothing’!
.
~~~~~~~~~~#########~~~~~~~~~~
.
Hi,it is hard to tell who is the most damaged by this liason, whether it is the discreditted and stunningly inept Mike Nattrass, whose command of political savvy has always been apparent or The strangely named extremist nationalist E$nglish Democrat Party.
Nattrass does the hokey cokey with consumate ease as one minute he denounces the odious New Britain Party (now closed down) to join UKIP.
Nattrass then joins with Nigel Farage and is up to his neck in tyhe fiddles and fixes that are so prevalent in the cult he has joined – with his hair trigger temper and foul language Nattrass shows himself to be a bullying yob who had had the good fortune to make money selling out a p[art of his business in the days when building societies were handing out other peoples’ money like drunken sailors to buy into estate agencies, I understand.
Yes Nattrass after years of struggle did make serious money but his subsequent antics have seemingly largely depleted his pot.
He claims to have given around £200,000 to support UKIP but this is again spin as his payments would seem to have been largely to buy his position on the EU gravy train & a lucrative position where clearly very little skill or ability was needed or perhaps more fairly, was ever visible!
Negotiations with the EDP have been ongoing over many years and some time ago he was a speaker at their annual conference, where wiser political heads prevailed talking him out of joining them!
The farce continued with Nattrass’ tireless support for and conivance with the criminal UKIP MEP Tom Wise even after he was found guilty of stealing from the public purse and was sentenced to 2 years in prison!
Nattrass joined the Pan EU EFD Group of holocaust deniers, anti homosexuals, anti Jewish, extremists and violent racists continuing his Hokey Cokey when he followed the moral stance of Nikki Sinclaire and quit the vile group the Farage cult had joined.
It was only when it was rumoured that his wife Joyce had tossed him out of the marital bed & home allegedly for being all t5oo willing to share his bed with others that he made4 the self serving decision to rejoin the EFD – Many believed this was to increase his chances of regaining a lucrative cash flow from the public purse t6o fund his excesses after 2015 once more placed as an MEP by the corrupt UKIP selection scams.
This was not to be after having written his withering excoriation of Farage and his cult when he had firtst resigned from the EFD.
Then we have all seen his ‘antics’ as he threw his toys out of his pram when he realised that the corrupt UKIP process that had worked so well for him in the past getting him elected as an MEP despite his singular lack of talents or ability, which he displayed over many years it wwas now working against him, as he was summarily dumped as a candidate.
Even the timing of his resignation from UKIP was amateurishly botched by seeking publicity on Channel 4 a week too early. His resignation from UKIP was of little significance to Channel 4 but they could not resist the cache of an MEP resigning from the party that had placed him live on air, though they rather botcherd their USP!
Now we have the spectacle of an announcement in a relatively obscure local paper and even that is a day early for any effect on the Farage feste to be held in London on Saturday & Su8nday – when clearly the levers of power could have been pulled to get his announcement on major network news during UKIP’s conference – publicity which as something of a media whore Nattrass clearly craves and his new best friends in the extremist EDP desperately need!
One has to wonder which will inflict the greatest damage on eachother in the long run, the EDP or Nattrass!
MEP Mike Nattrass to join English Democrats Party after quitting UKIP
Mr Nattrass will stand as the EDP’s West Midlands candidate in the European elections next May.
But fellow West Midlands MEP Nikki Sinclaire, also a former UKIP member, slammed his decision to join an “extremist” party.
Robin Tilbrook, the EDP chairman, said: “I am delighted to welcome Mike Nattrass as a member of the English Democrats and look forward to getting him re-elected as an English Democrat MEP.
“Over the coming year Scottish Independence will be in focus as they face the Scottish Independence referendum.
“The English Democrats are England’s equivalent to that party and our conference will debate further one of our key policy proposals, independence for England.”
However, Ms Sinclaire said: “I am saddened to hear that Mike has today joined the English Democrats.
“Since 2010 the English Democrats, have been infiltrated by those deserting the infighting of the BNP, who have been in meltdown since the General Election and now contain and tolerate some of the most undesirable and disgusting people in our society.’’
‘’By joining them, Mike is damaging his legacy and reputation. All his good work will now be overlooked because of the company he has chosen to keep.’’
The English Democrats launched in 2002 and campaigns for St George’s Day to be England’s national holiday; for Jerusalem to be England’s National Anthem; for a Referendum to leave the EU; for an end to mass immigration; for the Cross of St George to be flown on all public buildings in England.
Interestingly even this descends into farce when you read the article below – though I am aware that both Mike Nattrass and his wife Joyce met with the EDP leaders in Solihull to arrange a contract between them.
Interestingly the lunch meeting failed to reach an agreement.
I did say that Nattrass was apparently seeking to muddy the waters!
Time will give a definitive answer to the contradctory reports!
Mike Nattrass denies joining English Democrats after UKIP exit
Mr Nattrass has represented the West Midlands in Europe since 2004
A former deputy leader of the UK Independence Party who quit the party last week has ruled out joining the English Democrats.
Mike Nattrass, a West Midlands MEP, confirmed he would speak at the party’s conference this weekend.
The English Democrats’ chairman, Robin Tilbrook, earlier claimed the ex-UKIP politician would join his party – becoming its first MEP.
Mr Nattrass left UKIP after 15 years in protest at Nigel Farage’s leadership.
He accused his former boss of running a “totalitarian regime” and excluding those who disagreed with him.
‘Delighted’ A press release issued by the English Democrats earlier had suggested Mr Nattrass “wanted” to join the party and would be their lead candidate in the West Midlands in the 2014 Euro elections.
Chairman Mr Tilbrook was quoted saying: “I am delighted to welcome Mike Nattrass as a member of the English Democrats.”
But Mr Nattrass later wrote in an email: “I am not going to join the English Democrats… however I will be speaking at their conference in Leicester on Saturday, on the subject of HS2.”
Mr Tilbrook told the BBC there would still be a major announcement on Saturday, but that he was “not as clear” as he had been on what the announcement would be.
His party campaign for immediate withdrawal from the European Union and for the establishment of an English parliament.
Originally the English National Party when he founded it in 1998, it achieved its first major electoral success when its candidate won the Doncaster mayoral election in 2009
Mike Nattrass’ Efforts to Expose UKIP Corruption now feature in The Mirror! One of the comments was amusing ‘Another picture of Farage drinking. Friggin hell doesn’t he ever stop?’!
UKIP leader Nigel Farage under pressure as own MEP threatens legal showdown
It added: “I’m concerned the party brand will be tarnished, even holed below the water line, by his monopoly of power.”
A source said: “Nigel has a long memory for people who have crossed him.”
Last week UKIP was in chaos when chief executive Will Gilpin stepped down after just eight months. He launched a devastating attack on Farage, accusing him of running a party of “enthusiastic amateurs having a good time rather than the professional fighting team they could be”.
It is thought Farage wants to replace Gilpin with ex-Tory MP turned Ukipper Neil Hamilton.
Nattrass has emailed supporters saying: “There has been no reason given for my exclusion from the selection process.” He denies failing “a head-shrinking test”, saying: “I never took one and the shrinks who missed me were the lucky ones.”
Carl Humphries, the Chair of Worcester UKIP branch, is also backing Nattrass. He emailed: “I’m amazed and disappointed to find Mike’s name is not on the list of approved candidates.
UKIP said: “We don’t comment on unsuccessful candidates.”
The Antics of Nattrass & more alleged UKIP coruption!!!
.
~~~~~~~~~~#########~~~~~~~~~~
.
Hi,
look more knockabout fun and allegations of coruption in UKIP as the in fighting and unprofessional self serving squabbling goes on – It would be hilarious were it not so damaging for the more serious supporters of the aim to Leave-The-EU via a Referendum and Article #50!
All this as the bufoon Godfrey Bloom as a drinking buddy of Farage makes yet another tasteless and crass outburst and UKIP loses its CEO Will Gilpin who has found UKIP unprofessionalisable and undisciplined akin to ‘herding cats’.
Clearly the recent lesson of failure of around 1600 of there some 1,750 candidates in the local elections and the fact they are nowhere near getting an MP elected, not even in a by-election seems to have taught Farage’s clique and its claque nothing – little wonder no one of stature or gravitas wittingly supports their all too personal ambitions and the endless squabbling like ferrets in a sack!

Subject: FW: I NEED YOUR HELP !!!!!!
I am unsure if you have seen this and sorry to bother you, but I am under attack from people who are unwilling to state their case.
The message below has been sent out by Carl Humphries of his own initiative and I have not been involved in writing it.
I will be taking legal action against the UKIP NEC, as I can see that the UKIP MEP selection process rules have not been followed. This will be my last resort having tried to extract the reasons on a friendly basis. Many on the NEC can see what is happening and agree with me.
There has been no reason given for my exclusion from the MEP selection process, nor for other candidates who deserve to be listed and put before the UKIP membership for a democratic result.
In my case the hustings and an interview were the total process and no other tests. Existing MEPs being excluded from the other two aspects. The interview was a panel of three, of whom two have not been in UKIP long and were lacking in experience and had no understanding of the West Midlands at all nor the history of UKIP and the third was Steve Crowther UKIP Party Chairman. No “problems” were mentioned at that interview!
One of the three is an employee of a fellow candidate and another an employee of the party. Much to the surprise of certain NEC members who thought the NEC would choose!
When I asked why I was excluded Steve Crowther said it was “consultants” but in my case I met not a single consultant and the Daily Mail says I failed a head shrinking test which I never took……….. and the shrinks that missed me were the lucky ones!
This is a party believing in a local referendum, with some of us saying “Let the people decide” So why are people in our party worried about a free choice of candidates?
Regards.
Mike
I did not consider it was worth publishing the eMail below last week but the receipt of Mike Nattrass’ earlier today made it somewhat more relevant!
During the past 3 years I have spent countless hours of my time and several thousand pounds of my own money promoting UKIP . During this time I have had the support of Mike Nattrass our local MEP .
I am most amazed and very disappointed to find that Mike’s name is not on the list of approved candidates for next years European Elections . I don’t know if this is an error by the selection committee or a deliberate omission . I hope that it is the former .
I have spoken to Mike and he wishes to continue representing us .
This is where I need you help . Please send me an email expressing your support for Mike .
I will then email Nigel Farage requesting him to show leadership and support for one of his UKIP loyal members and that he insists that Mike’s name is added to the list .
When you read the above attachments you will realise that Mike’s CV is second to none .
I look forward to receiving you support .
Carl Humphries
Chairman , UKIP worcester and District Branch .
Many will remember the corruption of the last MEP selection process and the report by the then returning officer that utterly damned the party CLICK HERE
Interestingly as Mike Nattrass was not himself disadvantage in the last selection process he did not speak out then in support of those who were yet when it happens again and to him it seems he is all too willing to protest!
I wonder whether his utterly inefectual performance as an MEP might have influenced the selecting clique – though were that the case few would be on the list atall!
Might it have been his much publicised daliance with a woman outside of his marriage that led him to be thrown out by his wife, or the realisation of how costly divorce would be and his complete vault face as he ditched his ethics and integrity rejoining the UKIP racist and anti homosexual extremist EFD Group to try to secure his place on the gravy train to possibly fund his divorce that led to his de-selection.
Maybe having failed his return to his wife and parting with his mistress may also have had influence.
Maybe it was his uncontrollable temper and obscene language at NEC meetins etc. that may have held sway – I do not believe we will ever know as any spin from UKIP, based upon past experience is likely to be a pack of lies as it has been previously in Court!
‘Bongo Bongo Land’ A UKIP Image of Nationality to Quote Godfrey Bloom’s Racist views, as published!!!
.
~~~~~~~~~~#########~~~~~~~~~~
.Hi,
racism is not confined to a few in UKIP nor to their choice of associates and allies in the EU – it is clearly widespread from the top to the bottom as proven by the very limited revolt of members to the overt racism of the party – despite the implausibility of their denial of the obvious!
Astonishingly only one member of UKIP leadership team has had the integrity to reject the vile association with extremists and advocates of violent racism both in UKIP and amongst its chosen associates.
The party and its leadership quite clearly represent the most odious aspects of some British peoples in their efforts to pander to populism rather than show moral and ethical leadership.
Ukip MEP Godfrey Bloom criticises aid to ‘bongo bongo land’
Ukip says comments are being discussed at ‘very highest level’ of party after outrage from MPs and campaigners
Godfrey Bloom, a Ukip member of the European parliament, made the comments to a meeting of supporters in the West Midlands. He suggested foreigners used aid to “buy Ray-Ban sunglasses” and “apartments in Paris”.
His remarks have emerged in the week Ukip is due to publish its list of approved candidates for next year’s European elections, in which the party hopes to get the biggest share of the vote.
In a challenge to Nigel Farage, the Ukip leader, several MPs called for the party to prevent Bloom from standing again, saying it was a good test of its resolve to eradicate “intolerance”.
Bloom was filmed speaking at a meeting in Wordsley, near Stourbridge, in July. In the recording he says: “How we can possibly be giving a billion pounds a month when we’re in this sort of debt to bongo bongo land is completely beyond me.
“To buy Ray-Ban sunglasses, apartments in Paris, Ferraris and all the rest of it that goes with most of the foreign aid. F18s for Pakistan. We need a new squadron of F18s. Who’s got the squadrons? Pakistan, where we send the money.”
Two months ago Farage ensured an Italian MEP was expelled from Ukip’s European alliance for saying a black minister in Italy was part of a “government of bongo-bongo” who would want to impose “tribal traditions”, and would be better suited as a housekeeper.
A Ukip spokesman said Bloom’s remarks were being “discussed right at the very highest level of the party”.
Bloom said that suggestions that his comments carried any racist implications were “absurd” and “laughable”, adding that he has two Kashmiri staff and a Polish wife. He stood by his remarks, saying: “What’s wrong with that? I’m not a wishy-washy Tory. I don’t do political correctness … The fact that the Guardian is reporting this will probably double my vote in the north of England.”
In another part of the recording, Bloom says, in reference to a ruling from the European court of human rights: “You can torture people to death but you jolly well can’t give them a full life sentence because that’s against their human rights.
“We can’t hang them because we’re now a member of the European Union and it’s embedded in the treaty of Rome.
“It’s a personal thing but I’d hang the bastards myself … Especially for some of these, especially for the guy who hacked the soldier to death. I do hope they would ask me to throw the rope over the beam because I’d be delighted to do so.”
There have been reports that Ukip has been seeking a higher level of vetting for its prospective MEPs, after Farage admitted a “handful” of its local election candidates had caused the party embarrassment.
Bloom’s remarks caused outrage among many MPs and campaigners. Rushanara Ali, a shadow development minister, said: “It’s just offensive and the kind of thing that should have been consigned to the history books. It’s completely at odds with the 21st century.
“If Nigel Farage is serious about getting rid of racism and intolerance in his party, he should take action against politicians who think it’s acceptable to speak of people in developing countries in that way.”
John Mann, Labour MP for Bassetlaw, said Ukip should “throw him out and stop him standing as an MEP”. A spokesman for the Hope, Not Hate campaign said Bloom’s remarks were reminiscent of the “Tory party of 1985”, when Alan Clark provoked outrage by referring to Africa as “bongo bongo land” in an official meeting.
Bloom has previously caused controversy over some of his comments about women. The MEP was criticised for asking why businesses would ever hire “a lady of child-bearing age” and once said he wanted to get involved in women’s rights issues because: “I just don’t think they clean behind the fridge enough.”
The Facts, that Patrick O’Flynn was seemingly bought and paid for and thus The Express coverage of UKIP was wholly unreliable, Were Published Here Ages Ago – Do Tell The Independent, who seem to be playing catch up through their own blogger!
.
~~~~~~~~~~#########~~~~~~~~~~
.
Hi,
those of you who are regular readers of this blog in the media will realise that this blog published the facts regarding Patrick O’Flynn’s personal interests in becoming an MEP several weeks ago.
This probably explained, as noted at the time, why The Express, for whom he claims to be a political editor, carried totally biased articles believed to be published in exchange for a leading position as a candidate for the lucrative opportunities of candidacy as an MEP!
The Independent has finally had the courage to report this, watering down the duplicity of his ‘reportage’ in The Express in return for a chance of a seat on the EU gravy train and the opportunities of wealth that go with it that far outstrip the income of a leading journalist!
Even now The Independent did not choose to actually report the facts posted long ago on this blog but chose to let them leak out via one of their blog contributors!
I found this interesting, possibly because I know Patrick O’Flynn, chief political commentator for the Daily Express, and like him. He has joined UKIP and hopes to stand for the European Parliament in next year’s elections. Here is the video of his speech this morning to the party’s South East region, introduced by Nigel Farage (O’Flynn starts at 26 minutes in).
But I think it is interesting anyway as an insight into UKIP and the way its members think.
O’Flynn talks about the referendum on our EU membership, which he thinks will happen, but he recognises that it is a huge challenge for those who want Britain to leave.
He has decided to switch from being an observer to a participant because he does not want to say to his grandchildren, about the referendum: “I’m sorry, we lost and I could have done more.”
Then he likens UKIP’s quest to that of Tolkien’s Fellowship of the Ring. He compares Herman Van Rompuy to Gollum and says UKIP’s cause is just as “noble” as that of Frodo and Gandalf.
This is “not about Little England, it’s about Great Britain”, he says.
Or it’s about a fictional realm called Middle-earth.
Clearly it is not, as I have reported previously, just cash that buys seats on UKIP’s prospective MEP lists, making a mockery of democracy and showing why the centralised authority of UKIP’s leader and his ability to juggle the lists to suit his personal interests shows just how unfit for public responsibility UKIP is and how unfit for purpose UKIP are to lead the fight to Leave-The-EU – they don’t even hold British values of fair play and yet again show just how odious are their practices should they ever gain any relevance in British politics!
And so Farage’s friend and colleague in the EFD group – of which Farage is president – has launched a vitriolic attack on Italy’s first black minister.
• “This is a bonga bonga government.”
• “Kyenge wants to impose her tribal traditions from the Congo.”
• “You can’t say the word ‘******’ in Italy, only think it”
• “She seems like a great housekeeper, but not a government minister.”
• “(Mario Balotelli is) not a minister. He kicks a ball and that’s fine if someone from Congo or Africa wants to do that.”
• “Africans are different. They belong to an ethnicity much different from ours. They haven’t produced great genes.”
And what did Farage have to say? Nothing!
It’s no different when Borghezio praised mass murderer Anders Breivik. Farage did nothing! See: LINK
Sorry Nigel, but the days of the media ignoring your racist bedfellows is over. The media spotlight is now firmly upon you. You’re going to have to explain why you are still prepared to sit with this man and others like him. And the same goes for all those other UKIP MEPs in the group!
Many good men and women now represent UKIP as councillors. Chris Pain is one such example – a man of integrity and patriotism. Farage’s willingness to sit with fascists like Mario Borghezio can and will damage their reputations in the UK. We can’t allow this to happen!
It’s time for UKIPPERS to demand answers from Farage. Just why are you still willing to sit with a man who praises mass murder and refers to blacks as n*ggers! Is getting more money as part of a group – plus the ego boosting title of president – more important than the reputation of the party and your members?
Italian MEP makes racist comments about first black minister
30/04/2013
‘Kyenge will impose tribal traditions from Congo’ says Borghezio
Rome, April 30 – A member of the European Parliament from the xenophobic Northern League party on Tuesday made racist comments about Italy’s first black minister, Cecile Kyenge. “This is a bonga bonga government, they want to change birthright citizenship laws and Kyenge wants to impose her tribal traditions from the Congo,” said Mario Borghezio in an interview with Italian Radio 24. A 48-year-old doctor who was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kyenge was sworn in Sunday as integration minister in the left-right coalition government of Premier Enrico Letta. When asked if he considered Kyenge an Italian, Borghezio said, “The country is what it is, and the laws are made of crap”. “You can’t say the word ‘nigger’ in Italy, only think it,” Borghezio added. “Pretty soon you won’t even be able to say illegal immigrant – you’ll have to say ‘your excellence’. “She seems like a great housekeeper, but not a government minister”. When asked about Mario Balotelli, Italy’s star soccer player with African roots, Borghezio said, “he’s not a minister. He kicks a ball and that’s fine if someone from Congo or Africa wants to do that. “Africans are different. They belong to an ethnicity much different from ours. They haven’t produced great genes. Enough consulting these Mickey Mouse encyclopedias. “Kyenge is a doctor. We gave her position in a state-run facility that should have gone to an Italian”.
Marta Andreasen UKIP MEP, the self proclaimed former EU ‘Chief Accountant’, self publicist & fraud on Nigel Farage’s Stalinist Style of control of leadership!!
.
~~~~~~~~~~#########~~~~~~~~~~
.
Hi,
as regular readers of this blog will be aware we strive for accuracy in exposing why correct as we believe UKIP are to campaign to Leave-The-EU we are all too well aware of just how unfit for purpose UKIP is relative to this task.
Much of the information we publish is sourced from senior members of the party and EU insiders, it is always interesting to be in a position to publish their direct quotes from public sources, thus not placing them at risk from the centralised authoritarian style of the party, so distanced from its farcical claim to be Libertarian when clearly it has no understanding of the doctrine and would seem to believe the style is interchangeable with ‘libertine’.
UKIP’s “budget buster” on Farage’s dictatorship and his dislike of women
Marta Andreasen might not be a household name, but her story was made for the headlines.
As a former chief accountant to the European Commission and an Argentinian-born, Swedish-married, Spanish citizen, Andreasen is on paper the antithesis of a stereotypical UKIP member. Since blowing the whistle on her EU bosses for alleged account fiddling in 2002, Andreasen has become the poster child of the British right-wing, desperate to claw back power from the EU.
Upon joining UKIP in 2007, the so-called “budget buster” rose up the party ranks quickly, first serving as party treasurer and then as a UKIP MEP from 2009. She was even dubbed Nigel Farage’s right hand gal as the pair pledged to take Brussels by storm and bring the Brexit debate centre stage here in the UK.
UKIP’s Marta Andreasen and Nigel Farage in happier times (2009)
But with only a year-and-a-half left to her term in Brussels, the 58-year-old considers her future with the party in serious doubt. And, with little left to lose but her reputation and a Euroscepticism to rival that of the fiercest Europhobes, Andreasen is going out swinging.
“Nigel promotes the people who say yes to him and will be grateful for getting the job and will never contradict him,” says Andreasen.
“Under his leadership – and I have questioned his leadership obviously a number of times – the party has become a dictatorship. This is a Stalinist way of operating and he doesn’t care about the membership or the grassroots…”
Andreasen says that Farage has worked to exclude her from the election list and that recent electoral party reforms – put forward to the members as part of the new UKIP Constitution – have been specifically created to target the few remaining independent party voices, such as herself. UKIP deny the claim and say that the draft reforms Andreasen has seen are not the final version.
“The new constitution for UKIP has empowered the leader in a disproportionate way. Notably in the election of candidates,” says Andreasen. “It has put the decision in his hands – literally.
“This was a matter of concern for much of the membership who didn’t realise when they were approving the constitution what the essence of the changes was.”
This will spell a future in the political wilderness for UKIP at a critical time in the EU membership debate, she insists
“Nigel promotes the people who say yes to him and will be grateful for getting the job and will never contradict him,” says Andreasen.
The backlash is only the latest in a line of UKIP revolts, going all the way up to UKIP founder Alan Sked who called the party “morally dodgy” and “extraordinarily right-wing”, as well as UKIP/Tory flip-flopper and MEP David Campbell-Bannerman.
In a recent interview with LondonlovesBusiness.com, Campbell-Bannerman said UKIP had “become very much a one-man band and a bit of a cult”.
“There is a followership and even the constitution has been changed to favour pro-leader candidates. I don’t think that’s healthy,” he added.
Late last year, Andreasen decided to pen her objections in an email to the UKIP’s south-east UK members. She quipped that the proposed changes, in effect, disenfranchised the base and allowed the national executive to dictate the MEP list selection process.
Andreasen also insisted that standing MEPs would not be informed about their right to run again until the last minute and that they would be barred from communicating to party members until the election, putting them at a severe disadvantage.
“I will find a possibility to serve my constituents in some way and to find a way to have them vote for me. Maybe the possibility will be that I will stand as an independent,” says Andreasen.
The reforms, she said, mean that the process will be manipulated and was already resulting in the “rumoured” fast-tracking of the controversial former Tory MP and now UKIP national executive member Neil Hamilton and his wife Christine, in the 2014 election list.
The letter was subsequently leaked, and Andreasen was left facing the prospect of a libel suit from Hamilton who slammed her for spreading “false rumours”. UKIP subsequently denied charges that Andreasen was threatened with de-selection by UKIP chairman Steve Crowther who called her statements “wrong”.
Regardless, exclusion from the 2014 election list now seems likely for the outspoken accountant, although Andreasen insists that it will not mark the end of her political career.
“I will find a possibility to serve my constituents in some way and to find a way to have them vote for me. Maybe the possibility will be that I will stand as an independent,” she says.
“Should I give up just because someone is bullying me not to stand?”
But why on earth does a South-American Spaniard care quite so much about her south east English constituents?
Well it seems, a part of it is personal, another ideological.
“Nigel does not like women,” says Andreasen. “He will not tolerate women that have a certain intelligence. He thinks women should be in the kitchen or in the bedroom. These are the two kinds of women he will respect, not a woman that says ‘things are not as you say and we should follow the rules’.
“Nigel does not like someone who will have reasonable ideas that contradict his ideas. He does not accept any contradiction to his ideas. Basically from day one, since I was elected, he was dismissive of my work.”
This doesn’t seem entirely in line with Farage’s original decision to select Andreasen or his support of Jane Collins for UKIP’s first parliamentary seat in last November’s by-election to replace disgrace Labour MP Denis MacShane, but Andreasen puts this down to pragmatism.
Staying candid about the reality that she owes her seat to Farage, the Spaniard nonetheless believes it was a two-way street. UKIP got Andreasen’s credibility, which she says they “desperately needed” at a time when David Cameron still felt it acceptable to publicly label UKIP “fruitcakes, loonies and closet racists”.
Marta Andreasen UKIP campaigning for EU Elections in 2009
In part due to her help, UKIP has since gone on to win 13 seats in Brussels, at times outstripped the LibDems in national polling and even started to challenge the Conservatives for domination at the EU level. The Andreasen-Farage duo proved powerful, with the party scooping up almost 450,000 votes in 2009 in the south east, where there are only some 5,000 UKIP members.
In exchange for her “credibility,” Andreasen got a chance to go and reopen her unfinished work, combing through the EU’s accounts. She immediately joined the Committee on Budgetary Control, which promises to monitors the haemorrhaging of EU funds.
Her work, she believes, is instrumental in building the case for Brexit, an idea Andreasen is as passionate about as her UKIP peers.
“I joined UKIP because the Tories wanted to reform the EU and in my experience I thought that the EU could not be reformed. In the course of my years as an MEP, I have only grown more convinced of this,” says Andreasen.
“I have always felt that the UK was the only country that would have the power to change the EU and that they would be able to do this by either leaving the EU or threatening to leave the EU.
“Contrary to what people say, the UK brings more benefits to the EU than the EU brings to the UK,” she adds.
And once the UK leaves, or threatens to leave, Andreasen sees other countries starting to notice the clear disadvantages of membership, and breaking off too.
“It was immediately apparent to me that the EU system was open to fraud and that it was deliberately left open to fraud. I could see this very clearly,” she says.
This has not, and will not change without a serious push by the British, she insists.
Yet with Cameron now promising a referendum after the next election, and also heading to Europe to negotiate a budget freeze, Andreasen insists he will do just enough to convince the electorate that he is “trying”, without actually offering the much-needed drive to end senseless waste, burdensome bureaucracy and corruption.
“I think that Cameron will try to negotiate a few changes that will make his promises credible to people at least for some time. I believe some partners in the EU, notably Germany, will want to help him out. But we should not expect big and lasting changes to be accepted by the Brussels bureaucrats,” says Andreasen.
“I know that eventually the EU will come asking for more money, as happened with the budget for 2012 where Cameron claimed victory in freezing the budget with only a 2% increase – in line with inflation – but then at the end of the year an extra 9bn euro had to be injected to cover the pending invoices….so the increase was actually 9%. But this way Cameron gains 12 or 18 months.”
This is why UKIP continues to be a vital voice not only in the UK, but in Europe and the world, says Andreasen, and crucially why the party must pool all its resources into getting one or two members elected to Westminster not just Brussels.
“Farage is a good spokesman and he is good in the media, but he couldn’t care less about the membership and I don’t think that he would allow UKIP to be the party that is going to lead the way out of the EU – I don’t at all,” says Andreasen.
“Farage doesn’t care about getting MPs elected to Westminster and if we don’t get MPs elected then we will not be able to lead the process of leaving the EU.”
Comments like these already caused a public spat in 2011, when Andreasen called on Farage to resign following a poor showing in the national elections. He retaliated by calling her “out of touch”.
With council elections coming up this May, the EU elections next year and the general election in 2015, and a promised referendum on Europe two years later, the debate will only continue to heat up.
“We have limited resources so we can’t fight all the by-elections and when we do try and fight all these by-elections there is no way that we can succeed. We should concentrate on three or four places where we have a real chance of winning,” says Andreasen.
“But now Farage is saying that he wants candidates everywhere for the council elections. It is just a publicity stunt and this is why we get the candidates that we get. We get candidates that go on holiday when the election is going on or get people who come out with comments which are absolutely against the policy of the party.”
With opinions like these, the “budget buster” may find herself on a one-way road out of UKIP but don’t discount her going away just yet – her soap opera-like political saga seems far from over.
Marta Andreasen on Nigel Farage’s Stalinist Style of management of UKIP!
Hell has no fury like a woman scorned as The BBC tells us!!
.
~~~~~~~~~~#########~~~~~~~~~~
.
Hi,
as regular readers of this blog will be aware we strive for accuracy in exposing why correct as we believe UKIP are to campaign to Leave-The-EU we are all too well aware of just how unfit for purpose UKIP is relative to this task.
Much of the information we publish is sourced from senior members of the party and EU insiders, it is always interesting to be in a position to publish their direct quotes from public sources, thus not placing them at risk from the centralised authoritarian style of the party, so distanced from its farcical claim to be Libertarian when clearly it has no understanding of the doctrine and would seem to believe the style is interchangeable with ‘libertine’.
Relations between leader Nigel Farage and MEP Marta Andreasen have been strained for some time
A senior member of the UK Independence Party has threatened to quit after accusing leader Nigel Farage of being a “Stalinist dictator” and “anti-women”.
Marta Andreasen, who represents the South East England in the European Parliament, said she was unlikely to stand as a UKIP candidate next year.
She told the BBC that Mr Farage did not want “intelligent, professional” women in key positions in the party.
He responded by describing the criticism as “laughable nonsense”.
Relations between the two have been strained for some time, with Ms Andreasen calling for Mr Farage to quit after the party’s poor performance in council elections in 2011.
Since then, UKIP’s fortunes have improved and it recorded its best performance in a parliamentary by-election in Rotherham in December.
‘Dictatorship’
“Start Quote
He doesn’t try to involve intelligent professional women in positions of responsibility in the party. He thinks women should be in the kitchen or in the bedroom”
Marta Andreasen UKIP MEP
Ms Andreasen, who worked for the European Commission before joining UKIP and being elected in 2009, told the BBC that “if things don’t change” within the party “she can’t imagine a way to continue”.
Of Mr Farage, she told LondonlovesBusiness.com: “Under his leadership – and I have questioned his leadership obviously a number of times – the party has become a dictatorship. This is a Stalinist way of operating and he doesn’t care about the membership or the grassroots.”
And she told the BBC she had been openly criticised by her party leader and other MEPs, suggesting that this amounted to bullying.
“I’ve been bullied, in private situations, for decisions I have made by Nigel. I have been accused of being disloyal, breaching confidence and breaching my contract with the party. There’s an attitude that either you keep silent about everything that’s been going on in the party or suffer the consequences.”
Ms Andreasen said she believed Mr Farage – who was re-elected as leader in 2010 after standing down a year earlier to contest a Westminster seat – “did not like women”.
“I am the only female MEP,” she added. “He doesn’t try to involve intelligent professional women in positions of responsibility in the party. He thinks women should be in the kitchen or in the bedroom.”
She said she planned to stay in the European Parliament as a UKIP representative until the end of the current Parliament in 2014, to see out her “mandate” and “look for ways I can continue to represent the membership”. She said she might consider standing as an independent next year.
‘No bar to advancement’Asked about Ms Andreasen’s comments, Mr Farage told the BBC: “This is just laughable nonsense.” When asked if he disliked women, he joked: “They’ve caused me a lot of trouble over the years.”
Mr Farage has defended UKIP as being different from other parties after Prime Minister David Cameron said some of its members were “pretty odd people”. He said UKIP did have “some eccentrics” but this was healthy and he was an unusual party leader in that he was a conviction politician.
Ms Andreasen is the party’s sole remaining female MEP, after Nikki Sinclaire was expelled from UKIP in 2010.
Ms Sinclaire later brought a sexual discrimination case against the party which was subsequently dropped.
At the time, the party issued a statement affirming its “opposition to discrimination on all grounds as prescribed by law and otherwise” and stressed that sexuality was “no bar to involvement or advancement” within the party.
Nigel Farage, UKIP & Chris Huhne’s seat + Corby!
Will Farage rise to the challenge believing his own foolish publicity about UKIP’s greatly improved poll results and other propaganda!!

Specualation is growing that Nigel Farage, leader of the euroskeptic UK Independence Party, is considering contesting a seat in the UK parliament, but it’s not straightforward.
There could be a by-election in Eastleigh, a constituency that falls in Farage’s seat, but the member of parliament is former MEP, Chris Huhne, a Liberal Democrat. Huhne is facing prosecution over an allegation that the MP asked his wife to take the blame for a speeding ticket. The case is expected to be before the court in October or November.
Should Huhne lose, it is widely expected that he will resign his parliamentary seat, forcing a by-election.
The seat has been closely fought between the Liberals and the Conservatives. Coalition government has not been kind to the Liberals, their support has dropped in the opinion polls and a large share of their activists have left the party, leaving the local Conservatives with an opportunity to capture a seat from their coalition parners.
However, UKIP may feel that they can capture a large part of the vote on a campaign based around an in/out referendum on the EU.
Farage contested the seat in 1994, where he lost to the Liberal candidate by over 23,000 votes. He did manage to beat the Monster Raving Loony Party’s legendary leader, ‘Screaming Lord Sutch’ by 169 votes.
Farage will certainly beat his ’94 vote and he has been actively courting the Tory right in a capmaign to force UK PM David Cameron to hold an EU membership referendum, even a close result in a by-election would seriously concern senior Tories and may manouvere them into making such a referendum a manifesto commitment for the nect general election. Farage would not need to win to ‘win’.
It would not be an easy contest, for UKIP has never come close to winning a UK seat. speaking to local press, Farage said, ““I have absolutely no idea what is going to happen with Chris Huhne’s case but if Chris is found not to have told the truth then it is clear that his position as MP for this town will be untenable. So we face the prospect perhaps of an Eastleigh by-election – it could happen in October or November this year, perhaps spring next year but be assured if and when there is an election we will give it everything we have got.”
I note there is likely to be a by election in Corby & Northants before that in Eastleiggh and UKIP has a right gaggle of rogues to field – be that the drunk who is Regional Organiser Don Ransom or the liar Derek Clark who glibbly lied about me when I exposed his criminality and then lied to his regional committee to hide the fact that OLAF had found him guilty of fraudulently using over £30K from claims on the public purse a crime for which Tom Wise was sentenced to 2 years in prison!
Alternatively they have an ex military chappy who was qualified as a barrister but no longer practices as he runs a B&B on his son in law’s estate trading off the son in law’s Baronetcy – I gather he doesn’t practice law having fallen foul of it himself!
Facing a challenge that he should resign if UKIP’s candidate is not within 5,000 of the winner Farage has all to gain though is unlikely to accept the challenge as he will wish to blame others for the abject failure of UKIP in British deomestic elections.
However it could prove a useful trial run for Eastleigh as heaven only knows UKIP desperately needs some serious campaigning rather than stunts, smears and sneering at which they are so good and now that they are hugely better funded by both gambling and gamblers the expenses will be a dodle particularly as so few of UKIP’s MEPs have ever made any meaningful donations to the party beyond self interest paymentys to get themselves elected!
Let us see. But let us not forget Farage climbed on the Huhne band wagon early on with claims he KNEW that Huhne had committed the crime as they were on the same plane returning from their weekly jolly in The EU at public expense – as I recall this was a claim he was unable to substantiate later when called on to do so – was he softening up Eastleigh with one of his publicity grabbing stunts?
Regards, Greg_L-W.
So let us see if Farage responds to Alan Hardy’s challenge rather more rapidly than David Cameron responded to Farage’s challenge.
EFD Leader Nigel Farage MEP’s Strange Bedfellows and the damaging implications and outcome for Farage’s Party – UKIP!!
.
~~~~~~~~~~#########~~~~~~~~~~
.
Hi,
before republishing a posting by Junius, which I believe should be widely circulated as a matter which the public at large should be aware of I would like to point out a fe4w facts of my own 😉
Indeed as Junius states: ‘Strange bedfellows’ and as a Party Leader representing others it is unwise to let ones own morality dominate, for I understand Nigel Farage is politically willing to consort with anyone who will pay him, as with The EFD members of whom he is a leader comprising racists, bigots, anti homosexuals, xenophobes, Holocaust deniers, anti Jewish and all manner of sordid low lifes.
It is also abundantly clear that Farage’s immaturity and personal insecurity is very much a driving force in his leadership of UKIP and for that matter his sexual inadequacy that leads to his sexual incontinence and dependence of drink, as widely publicised!
It is widely published Farage is indeed a good performing monkey and so attested by a prostitute with whom he consorted, who used her body to gain and subsequently sell her story to The News of The World.
As to Prof. Anthony Coughlan I have always found him to be erudite, informed, urbane, charming, and excellent company, with something of a golden tongue in composing his discussion, when I have dined with him.
I also found him an incredibly well informed opponent of EU membership and he was immensly helpful to me in our attempts to oppose The EU’s required devolution of Wales.
That I have co-operated with and received assistance from a Professor at an Irish University gives me little concern, and to have risen within Eire it is clear he would have had some sympathy with the IRA position.
I am happy to be quoted as having received assistance in my opposition to EU membership from one of, if not the leading EUroSceptics in Eire.
That he was associated with the IRA comes as no surprise, but as I have made clear I violently (and I use the term specifically) oppose organised terrorism that targets the innocent in the cowardly manner espoused by The IRA, and for that matter certain other factions in Ireland, both North and South.
Assuming the information regarding Prof. Coughlan’s IRA leanings is true, and he and others took great risks to liberate their homeland from association with Westminster, it is astonishing they have permitted their homeland to fall under the thrall of as malign and centralised a scam as The EU, which has no interest in Ireland beyond as a lure to hook Britain, ever more damagingly.
The rest of the seedy associates of Farage give greater concern than that so prominent a EUroSceptic as Anthony C. was at the same table.
Imagine for a moment just how badly it reflects on UKIP to have some of Farage’s other garbage in tow – the likes of the liar and fraud Marta Andreasen, Gerard Batten with his bigoted religious stances and un-British obsessions, the serial drunk Godfrey Bloom with his odious personal life and standards, in Farage’s party there is not a single MEP of any merit, integrity or ethics. No not ONE!
Consider the various rejects Farage has placed in his Press Office from Croucher, Page, Fuller, Towler, Kelly and similar trash – Just what likelihood is there that UKIP under its present leadership will EVER make any meaningful progress in British domestic politics represented by the likes of these!
Just look at the garbage being dredged up as candidates for elections little wonder only 9 out of 4,987 seats were won by UKIP! In the light of those elected perhaps UKIP would have been better off with ZERO albeit considered a gain to have the likes of Kevin Mahoney and his ilk as representation amongst the claque that pays homage to The Farage Party!
Now there is the prospect of serial rejects like Hamilton, Helmer, Swann, Woolfe, McGough, Crowther (temporarily carrying the can for the risible results Farage’s tactics gained in London & the Local Elections in May!), and a host of others being the new golden wonders for Farage’s party, easily put in place as Farage has concentrated all powers of selection in his own control and as is well documented has declared UKIP NEC will do what he tells them!.
As I have often said ‘On a good day there is no doubt Farage is a good performing monkey, but he sure to hell is no organ grinder and can not even be trusted to collect the money from the audience’!
I look forward to the continued support of Prof. Anthony Coughlan and his intellectual input in Britain’s struggle for liberty, as with his superlative expose of The Lisbon Treaty (aka. EU Constitution).
However I represent my own views and values and my own revulsion of both The EU and The IRA, unlike Farage who surrendered his independence as soon as he drew his income from the public purse as a representative of others.
Yet again I am unimpressed by Farage’s choice of bedfellows – though to be fair I have NEVER respected any of his ‘bedfellows’, just like the majority of the electorate – hence constant catastrophic domestic election results are the mark of his party.
A few soundbites and performance antics on obscure political programs watched by few do not a leader make!
Minded of those points and limitations do read the opinions and details offered by that on The Junius blog:
The UKIP website contains some reference to the recent Irish referendum on the Fiscal Treaty. Paul Nuttall makes some comments. The website of the far-right EFD group in the European Parliament, to which UKIP belongs, and of which Nigel Farage is co-president, does likewise.
But UKIP’s involvement in that referendum campaign runs deeper. Much deeper.
What Nigel Farage does not want you to know is that he has used this campaign to forge links with Irish Republicans.
Our photograph, which does not appear on UKIP’s website for obvious reasons, shows Farage with some rather obnoxious characters.
Here we have Anthony Coughlan. He is certainly a vocal, and highly articulate, eurosceptic. But let us look deeper. Coughlan was a key figure in the Provisional IRA front group, the Connolly Association. He was also involved with the Wolfe Tone Society, which campaigned for the ‘rights’ of IRA prisoners. Those are the very people that murdered British soldiers, and innocent women and children in pursuit of their Marxist aims. Wolfe Tone himself was a convicted traitor, who died of illness before the just sentence of execution could be carried out. He once stated that his hatred of England had always been “rather an instinct than a principle”.
We also note the presence in this picture of Hermann Kelly, UKIP/EFD press officer, who once wrote of Coughlan that he is “a good friend of mine”.
No wonder that Farage has remained silent on the matter of HM meeting the verminous murderer Martin McGuiness, he has himself been breaking bread with the same people. Look at the picture, and see how Farage is leaning forward to get his face in front of the camera. It is all about him, as far as he is concerned.
Farage, whilst he has never served himself, and whilst his father left the TA under a cloud of alcoholism, and tainted by his League of Empire Loyalist/National Front connections, likes to be associated with the troops. We wonder how his ‘friends’ in the mob will react to his closeness to the IRA!
Also present in the picture is Morten Messerchmidt (or Harry Heinkel, as Farage calls him behind his back). Messerschmidt personifies the EFD group. With his conviction for incitement to racial hatred, and the fact that he was forced to resign his government job after being seen “Heiling Hitler” in a Copenhagen bar, he really sums up this vile little group of violent extremists.
As an interesting aside you may well note that the original political commentator ‘Junius’ of 1769 >1772 who commenced his postings but mysteriously stopped having never had his, her or their identity exposed – no doubt such a day will come for the current commentator on UKIP’s vagiaries, corruption and idiocies, who posts from within The EU on a well informed basis and for whom there have been so many authors both speculated and attributed by the ill informed 😉
That the current Junius has continued to post for so much longer and with both greater insight and information and also frequency would seem to occupy a great deal of both time and effort on the part of EUkip Leadership and its low life claque, many of whom too ashamed of the dishonesty of their lies, defamatory claims and general behaviour to put their name to their comments!
The list of those attributed to be Junius must be most flattering to the actual authors but all too clearly UKIP leadership have as little knowledge of who are the authors as they have ‘Exit and Survival Plans’ for these United Kingdoms relative to the odious, undemocratic and obscenely costly EU sca,!
