One of the “interesting” issues that arose over the on/off affair of Mike Nattrass was that the UKIP defector, Nikki Sinclaire MEP, issued a press release and blog item attacking the English Democrats in wild and hysterically vitriolic terms. Edited highlights of this rant include the bizarre claims that the English Democrats are “extremist” and “now contain and tolerate some of the most undesirable and disgusting people in our society” and “who seem on intent on enlarging themselves primarily first and foremost regardless of normal and social acceptability”!

My comment, which may or may not be published on his blog, where comment is invited, is as follows:

Hi,

the EDP draws on its roots of revivifying Robin Tilbrook’s The English National Party of the 1960s.

Face the facts – many consider it extremist to actively campaign & support these United Kingdoms being broken up, be that by Nazi Germany in 1939 or the foolish self serving political antics of Palid, Mabion Kernow, EDP or SNP.

That the EDP willingly compounds this by taking on high profile ex BNP members exacerbates their problem of being seen as extremists.

Robin Tilbrook unfortunately has a track record of damaging his own fan club with rants and vitriolic attacks as we see in his own entry on Wiki:

‘However, Davies announced his resignation from the party on 5 February 2013 citing “a big influx of new members joining from the British National Party”.[10] One of its councillors, Mick Glynn, resigned the following day after the party’s chairman, Robin Tilbrook,[11] launched a personal attack on Peter Davies reducing its number of elected representatives to two.’

Yet again the mouse that roared has emerged with a vitriolic ad hominem rant when his doomed plans to embrace the shambolic and politically challenged Mike Nattrass to try to boost his chances for growth predictably failed.

How foolish to have broken confidence and published early negotiations with Sinclaire, showing his political ineptitude and untrustworthy nature – as with the broadcasting of the details of his negotiations with the foolish Mike Nattrass when he failed to capture his support.

Pray tell – in his political campaigning since the 1960s spanning 6 decades wjhat has Tilbrook achieved and what signs of leadership have presented – leadership is more than betrayal of trust and ill cobnsidered ad hominem attacks!

Perhaps if the EDP is to continue on its extremist and damaging path ity may be time to find a leader of some competence and substance!

West Midlands MEP Mike Nattrass has announced that he wishes to join the English Democratic Party, the only party that wants England to be independent of the EU.

Mike Nattrass will be standing as the English Democrats’ Lead Candidate for the EU Parliament election on the 22^nd May 2014, with supporting positions taken by Derek Hilling, Party Secretary and David Lane, West Midlands Chairman.

The English Democrats are delighted to welcome Mike Nattrass as a member of the party and as our first English Democrat MEP.

Mike joined the English Democrats because no other party stands firm and believes in the protection of English interests.

Facebook has lost UKIP two seats and caused major problems (I blame it for the heart attack and death of a UKIP Councillor). The two worst problems I have with your party are two facebook entries. One a Holocaust Denial from a member and another about Thalidomide victims. If you cannot see the damage look again. I am still waiting a rely from David (who I can see is a good chap)

I am in Brussels today and speaking at Probus, Droitwich tomorrow and the tread mill never stops.

You have not been out of any loop and nothing has yet been concluded without you.

1/ I will become an English Democrat MEP transferring from UKIP on 21 September 2013 – and recognise the opportunity to raise the profile of the English Democrats through the expected press attention, and would indeed encourage current UKIP members from all over England to join the English Democrats.

Thank you for the direct reply and I would like to give you my thoughts honestly and without commitment either way at this stage.

On evening of 6th I will be in Worcester talking to a Chairman who backed me and got 400 UKIP members and some branches to back me …. I would throw the suggestion to him!!

A meeting with you anytime on 7th is good. I live in Sutton Coldfield but you may prefer to see the office at Hampton.
Birmingham International is 3 miles and Hampton in Arden has a station.

IF I joined your team I would become an English Democrat MEP with immediate effect. I am in Strasbourg on Monday 9th and could do it then.

I am getting lots of positive press in the West Midlands and I think if I run for you in 2014 I would do well. Reporters know me and my office base would not change.

At this point I would need to make friends with the current number one. Because I have a plan which would work to his advantage ………….. will explain later.

As for 2015 …… Skipton and Ripon would be my seat please!

A am a soft Southerner, but I do have a reputation for straight talking !

In response to your questions.

1/ As an English Nationalist Party and we are against the EU, we Contest the 9 English EU Regions – and will be doing so in 2014, this qualifies the English Democrats for a Party Political Broadcast.

2/ My valued colleague and long standing party member and activist Derek Hilling (National Party Secretary) has already been recommended by the West Midlands Area Council to stand as the lead candidate in the West Midlands, this had been officially confirmed by our National Council, and will be announced on 21 September 2013 at our National Party Conference in Leicester on 21 September, along with the other 7 lead EU Candidates (excluding London where no selection has yet been made).

3/ We have met a couple of times, and you indeed kindly spoke at our English Democrats Conference a few years ago with Nikki Sinclaire, there were no personality problems from an English Democrats point of view, with either yourself or Nikki, and we would welcome your support.

4/ Nigel Farage – we are well aware of the antics of Nigel Farage- and the fact that he does not run UKIP along democratic lines, but considers UKIP to be his own private domain, there appear to be many UKIP members now unhappy about the UKIP Selection process. The English Democrats have been victims of “double dealing” from Nigel Farage in the past.

5/ If your support of the English Democrats goes as far as wanting to stand for the English Democrats, then the current possibilities in the English Democrats for the 2014 EU Elections Candidates (subject to our selection process) are therefore realistically either Lead candidate in London, or 2nd Spot in any other EU Region including the West Midlands standing for the English Democrats – you may like to also think about Yorkshire, as I know you are a Yorkshireman. (Again this would be subject to our Yorkshire Team and our selection process).

6/ Politics is a nasty game, but as we would also be happy to land a blow on Nigel Farage, a defection of a sitting UKIP MEP to the English Democrats announced the week before BOTH conferences in 2013 would be a great first move in the 2014 EU Campaign, and would raise the profile of the English Democrats – the BBC would lap it up.

7/ Although time is short, then I believe we have time to sort out a mutually convenient arrangement, that follows the English Democrats procedures before Monday 16 September 2013.

Being a Northerner I come to the point.

How many regions will you contest at the European elections please?

Who is your lead candidate for West Midlands please?

I am in the mood to help you, we have met and you impress me and providing we agree on policy (I need to just check) the publicity would be dynamic.

I have worked hard and done nothing wrong in UKIP. My personal following is very good (because I say it as it is, smile and insult everyone equally) My press contacts are very large.

My crime against Nigel was to point at racists in the EFD Group (not even the party). I wrote to the UKIP NEC and said that we should not associate with them. But Nigel needed the numbers, to keep the leadership of the group so I was not popular.

However what I had warned about then happened. Mario (Italian) who I had warned about, endorsed the views of the Norwegian mass murderer (giving Nigel more than a frown) and then racially abused a Black Italian Government Minister ….. final straw Nigel sacked him. SO THEY SAY I WAS NOT LOYAL TO THE PARTY! Sorry, no, just trying to protect the UKIP name from racists.

UKIP’s farcical national conference and the subsequent forced resignation of Godfrey Bloom this week have brought cheer to the party’s opponents, across the political spectrum. Mr Bloom – the most ‘colourful’ character in a technicolour party – managed an unprecedented series of gaffes in the space of a single, tumultuous day. He began with the now infamous ‘sluts’ comment and ended by hitting a journalist on live TV when asked about the party’s ‘all white’ conference brochure. A tearful Nigel Farage later took to the stage to declare that his erstwhile flatmate had single-handedly “ruined our conference”. Rarely has so much bad publicity been awarded to so many by so few.

But Mr Bloom’s departure from UKIP’s delegation in Brussels and Strasbourg (he remains a party member, apparently) is far from an isolated incident. In fact, he is now the sixth UKIP MEP (out of 13) to either leave or be kicked out since the European elections in 2009. He follows Nikki Sinclaire (expelled), David Campbell-Bannerman (defected to the Tories), Mike Nattrass (de-selected and then resigned), Trevor Coleman (quit UKIP’s European grouping) and Marta Andreasen (defected to the Tories).

This means the party has lost almost half of their original MEPs since 2009. To paraphrase Oscar Wilde, losing one MEP may seem a misfortune, but to lose six seems like carelessness. It is small consolation that UKIP have in the meantime gained one Tory defector (the climate- and LGBT-sceptic Roger Helmer MEP). Only the BNP have done worse, having lost 50% of their MEPs (one out of two) since 2009.

The irony of all this is that most voters (and even other MEPs) don’t have a clue who UKIP’s MEPs are. They are rarely seen in the influential parliamentary committee meetings where EU legislation is shaped, to the extent (as Fiona Hall MEP memorably noted in Glasgow) that UKIP’s leader is known in the corridors of Brussels and Strasbourg as ‘Mr Mirage’. Indeed the independent VoteWatch Europe website found that UKIP have the worst attendance, voting and work performance of any political party from any EU country.

The challenge is in getting the message out to voters: that backing UKIP means throwing away Britain’s influence. Luckily, Mr Bloom’s escapades have just helped to make our job as campaigners a little easier.

Nigel Farage’s party functions more as a cult than any concept of a political party or even a movement.

You must pay obeisance to the Great Leader of UKIP regardless of his inability to lead & self serving centralising of power and absolute control.

It is not just the fact that out of 13 elected UKIP MEPs Nigel Farage’s ineptitude and divisive style means he is left with only 4 who support him two of whom do so in the hope of an opportunity to stab him in the back to take control.

Do not overlook the fact that of 7 leaders over the l;ast 20 years only two remain in UKIP and one of those is Farage. Then of course of those elected to UKIP’s NEC 74 have been forced off many as a result of bullying, liers and underhand means engineered by Farage’s placemen.

How UKIP gets the MEPs Farage wants

The low calibre of many UKIP MEPs lets the ordinary party members and the country down. Some are poltical dross so how did they get high up on UKIP slates in the first place? Look at what is left now in UKIP’s Brussels battalion and how they got there.

Derek Clark, aged 79, East Midlands, the Calvin Coolidge of UKIP. Coolidge known as silent Cal, was Harding’s vice president and became US president in 1923 when Harding died suddenly of a heart attack. When told of Coolidge’s death in 1933 Dorothy Parker, the celebrated American wit simply said, “How did they know?” UKIP’s Clark is best known for falling asleep in meetings and signing up to subsiduarity in Romania in direct contravention of UKIP policy. How did he end up an MEP? Simples, on the coat tails of Kilroy Silk who got a huge vote for UKIP in 2004 and promptly left UKIP. Under Clark the East Midlands went from 2 MEPs in 2004 to 1 in 2009, the height of the expenses scandal which hit every party except UKIP. Incredible!

Stuart Agnew, Eastern Region and allegedly rich. Second on the Eastern region slate to Bannerman. The best candidate was undoubtedly Robin Page but he was disqualified at a Farage dominated NEC meeting in late 2008. Hence Mr Agnew. Mrs James, one of the few good candidates UKIP has is now suffering from similar treatment as that meted out to Robin Page.

Paul Nuttall, not top of the pops in the North West region, that election was one by Greg Beaman the then North West RO who having won the right to the number one spot inexplicably decided to stand down. As number 2 choice Nuttall then moved up to number one and has bedded in as Farage’s right hand man.

Legge I have written in my previous blog. He was undoubtedly helped greatly by his title and the support of his future employee the RO Malcolm Wood. He is also rich but how much money has he given UKIP?

Not exactly an inspiring bunch.

Gerard Batten and Trevor Colman were elected by the members fair and square despite the best efforts of the Cabal but Colman will not stand in 2014 and it is by no means certain that Batten will get the nunber one spot on the London slate.

That leaves Farage the leader who largely controlled the UKIP MEP slates in 2009 and totally controls the slates for 2014. His diastrous record speaks for itself. In a democratic party he would have been replaced years ago. But in UKIP with a fresh group of sycophant MEPs the whole cycle will start alll over again. Farage’s pension will have increased. His status in the EU will have been further enhanced. He will be leading a pan-European party. As for UKIP’s avowed aim to leave the EU, who cares?

a sound summary of the scam that is the UKIP of today, little more than a Farage fan club, with not a single achievement to its name in terms of leadership or a clear strategy, tactics, plan or exit & survival startegy when it comes to the core aim of Leave-The-EU.

In 20 years it has NEVER had an individual of gravityas who has not been forced out by the ruling clique of self serving nebishes and their claque.

You ask with regard to leaving the EU ‘who cares?’ well clearly an army of activists who have been forcedf out buy the self serving dead wood, oiks and ill informed populists!

It is astonishing that out of 13 UKIP elected MEPs there are only 4 who remain as supporters. 74 elected NEC members have been forced out based on lies or fallen out with Farage and of 7 leaders only two remained in the party and one of those is Farage!

UKIP may provide a protest vote, but clearly to vote in a UKIP MEP is naive as 75% (on track record) quit.

In domestic elections UKIP is an abject failure where of some 1,750 seats fought over 1,600 were lost!

it is interesting ton note just how divisive and incompetent the pretence of leadership by Nigel Farage is!

You will note the general degradation of standard in the party and particularly amongst the activists and the claque – UKIP under the control of Farage has always been of the politically misguided op[inion that it is numbers that coun t, failing to understand the principles of leadership where gravitas and the calliber is far more valuable that mere numbers.

Of the 7 leaders UKIP has had since its foundation, it is a sobering realisation that only two remain members of the party and one of those is Farage – The others having left in outspoken acrimonious terms relative to Farage, in the main.

Do also consider that at least 74 elected members of the party NEC have quit or been forced out, mostly citing the behaviour of Nigel Farage as their reason. Often as a result of a style of kangaroo court beneath contempt such as the witych hunt against Chris Pain who we gather was forced out as he was seen as a threat by Farage and trumped up claims that he was supplying factual information to myself and team Junius were used, despite there being not one shred of evidence to back the speculation.

The bullying misogyny of the leadership clique has also ensured that not a single competent & intelligent woman has survived for any period in a position of consequence most noticeably commencing with Janet Girsman who was elected to the NEC but blocked ever from taking up her seat.

Farage even resorted to trying legal action to force Nikki Sinclaire out but lost the case resulting in her strengthened position where it was she who left UKIP in disgust as an MEP on ethical grounds.

The list of competent women who have seen through Farage’s inept leadership and the style of his deeply unsavoury cult includes many more like Petrina Holdsworth, Linda Guest, Rachel Oxley, Barbara Booker & numerous others.

Of the 18 MEPs UKIP has managed to elect Farage now finds himself with only 5 who claim to support him and even some of those would seem to be hanging in there in ther hope of taking over when Farage falls.

UKIP voters elected 13 MEPs at the last election but few remain so is a vote for UKIP just a vote to get an MEP elected so that they can then sit with a different party or a different group?

Interestingly UKIP’s own web site shows their claim to still have 11 of their 13 elected MEPs yet can only identify 8! Even of these 8 there is no sign of support from some for Farage’s party!

Well lets have a brush with reality!

Roger Helmer is NOT a UKIP elected MEP – he is a turncoat from the Tories w3ho having announced he was resigning was thwarted in his ambition to have his choice of successor and then in pique withrew his resignation and to spite the Tories threw in his lot with UKIP where in many ways he is more of a liability than an asset!

John Bufton has effectively quit supporting Farage & his party as he has stated he will not stand for UKIP at the next election, but it is understood he may well stand for another party or as an independent. John Bufton as UKIP’s MEP has openly stated he totally disagrees with Nigel Farage’s diktat policy relative to Wales!

Trevor Coleman having followed Nikki Sinclaire’s ethical lead and quit Farage’s odious racist, anti homosexual and extreme EFD Group. Having promised, when he stood as a UKIP MEP, that if The UKFirstParty did well he would leave UKIP & join them one has to realise that neither Farage nor even UKIP can trust this self serving man who so rarely turns up to the EU may well be expected, when he loses his staffing allowances and ot6her expenses may well share aims with the failed UKIP leader Alan Sked!

William Legge aka William the 10th. Earl of Dartmouth was of course a failed Tory wanabe who became a placeman of Nigel Farage’s who seems to have been a sad disappointment with no financial support of consequence and all too willing, despite his inherited wealth, to accept his salary & expenses. In watchjing UKIP relatively closely for over 15 years with relativeluyn close ties I have yet to note ANYTHING of consequence tyhat William Legge has done towards the aim to Leave-The-EU beyond make a spectacle of himself and UKIP by having a tantrum in The EUP when he failed to get his own way – akin to a spoilt 3 year old.

So in reality Farage now finds that of 13 MEPs elected by UKIP voters he now only seems to have 4 still on board and of those 2 would be all too willing to knife him in the back if they thought they might gain his position as leader.

One sometimes wonders if the bullying oaf with his threats of personal attack Stuart Agnew has any future as he is still under investigation, together with David Bannerman, for his boasts of fraud made on camera to Daniel Foggo’s assistant and The Sunday Times.

We then regularly note the oleagenous, unethical and dishonest Gerard Batten makes little contribution of value to the core values of UKIP, unless of course Farage is willing to admit those core values include extremist incitement and criticism of Muslims, likely to encourage racial hatred based on the perceptions that Muslim equals Asian & African, and is a sound cause for hate speech based purely on relative superstitions.
Batten is more closely linked to the EDL it seems than the original grass roots UKIPpers though I appreciate the populism of such irresponsible behaviour has attracted a large number of ex BNP supporters.
To listen to the obsession Batten has with his misunderstanding of the Bilderberg Group members one wonders if he has any role in UKIP beyond embarrassing its more ethical supporters.

As for the odious liar and fraudster Derek Clark, who its seems has avoided jail for the same offence that Tom Wise found himself sentenced to 2 years in prison purely on the defence of his geriatric status – well so far I guess. As a supporter of Farage’s, though he is of little relevance or consequence, Clark can not be faulted as this aged and venal individual has been all too willing to prostitute ethics and his Country for tyhe security of tenure of his position.

In terms of leadership it is clear from the divisive nature that has been manifest even amongst cronies, drinking chums and placemen Nigel Farage is clearly u8tterly bereft of talent as the results show.
That is not for a moment to denigrate his ability, when on form, as a performer.
All be it his antics in the EUropean Union parliament are of little value, as he is seen largely as being the leader of the intermission jesters – almost no-one, in statistical terms, ever sees his well crafted performances, leading him to ever more insulting behaviour to gain recognition if not credibility for the total lack of gravitas, research or competence of UKIP.

Although, by dropping their standards and becoming ever more willing to pander to the lowest common denominator and align with the extremists, racists and anti homosexuals, Farage has raised the number of supporters for his act of cheeky chappie down the pub when his ruthless and centralised rigid control of the party belies the act of being in some way libertarian.

The rush to the gutter has beyond doubt placed UKIP as the apposite dustbin in which to cast ones protest vote in EUropean elections, though clearly the British public do not consider them reliable or a safe pair of hands in domestic politics – hence their abject failure to come anywhere close to having an MP elected and when out of over 1,700 candidates in the local elections a mere 147 were elected the squabbling increased and the vracks opened up leaving UKIP with a showy facade for the naive but no substance for the ethical.

The failure in either domestic elections and serial claims of intent to professionalise have left UKIP as clearly unfit for purpose, with falling ratings and ever widening cracks amongst the few remaining riders on the gravy train, despite the cynical self promotion of Patrick O’Flynn in The Express, which calls into question the paper’s objectivity and ability to report when its chief political journalist is seeking to feather his nest as a UKIP candidate!

Whatever the performance in the largely undemocratic EU Parliament matters little as so few people ever see it – Never has so little been done by so many. Were clips to get rather than a few 100 views rather more like 1 or 2M it would still be insignificant in terms of the size of the largely ignored electorate!

In real terms The EUP is an ego trip that hides an outdated scam of little relevance as it re-enacts & imposes the laws of WTO, CODEX etc. & funds a raft of overpaid bureaucrats!

Hi,

For the record – despite the obfuscation, dissembling and outright lies of those trying to hide the truth about UKIP, as it is – It is of absolutely no consequence how many read this blog or this web site or my Twitter or my postings around the internet and elsewhere, just like UKIP membership numbers are of no consequence just as it is irrelevant how many watch a UKIP video in America, China or even France – it is a matter of the caliber of those who read the entries NOT numbers.

This web site and all its entries are posted as an archive and if ONE person of influence reads it whether media, politician or individual and it leads to cleaning up & professionalising UKIP & giving it some ethical gravitas and consequence thus making it fit for purpose as a party, which British citizens would be proud to join to Leave-The-EU, it has served its purpose.

This blog is an archive available to all and made as accurate as possible, clearly differentiating between my opinions and values and factual reportage of UKIP.

As is clear: Any error of fact is always corrected, if brought to my attention, and comments are always published – for as long as they are compliant with the terms clearly stated as follows:

We welcome comments but reserve the right to moderate & refuse libelous or offensive comments and those we choose to delete when written by unidentifiable individuals hidden in anonymity in a cowardly manner to defame or abuse.

With Regard To JUNIUS

From my conversations with Team Junius:

I gather their aims were largely similar to mine, as was their aim to inform and provide an archive of facts in support of UKIP becoming fit for purpose, to lead to Leave-The-EU, which clearly it currently is not, as it tends to represent its own personal ambitions rather than British self determination, values and ethics.

At the moment Junius team have largely stopped addressing UKIP’s problems, in the belief that it is unlikely that UKIP will have any consequential influence on domestic politics after their failure in the local elections of 2013 when out of over 1,700 seats in which they stood candidates a mere 147 were elected and already they are falling by the wayside and or resigning due in part to lack of vetting, lack of professionalism and in some cases over racism, inappropriate behaviour and convictions for theft etc.

UKIP’s achievements are so clearly the product of a single individual that Junius has stood back from their role exposing UKIP’s ineptitude and dishonesty as unfit for purpose as to continue putting their own jobs at risk is no longer of sufficient consequence in the light of UKIP’s failure to obtain MPs, Police Crime Commissioners, Mayors or any other role of any gravitas or significance in domestic politics in 20 years.

Team Junius, I am told, will possibly re-enter the position of political commentary if the situation alters and UKIP becomes of greater relevance in UK domestic policy rather than self serving also rans!

Although I have heard from members of Team Junius they and others have passed on the UKIP lies that it is claimed that actions and threats of prosecution by UKIP forced Junius to cease posting.

I can assure readers that the UKIP spin is a pack of lies particularly as they have absolutely no idea who the members of Team Junius are nor are UKIP able to identify a single solitary member of the team. It is therefore abundantly clear that no member of the team has in any way been threatened with prosecution, nor contacted by anyone threatening to prosecute nor has any member EVER been cautioned by any lawyer or the police with regard to their publication of facts and views they publish about UKIP and its clique or claque or even members or policy.

May I also add that the ONLY three threats I have EVER received were founded first on the inept misunderstanding of the law by Michael Zucherman when I used the title ‘catterpillars & butterflies thereby bringing into derision the subsequent utilisation of the imagery used by UKIP subsequently.

The second instance was based on lies presented by Mark Croucher, Clive Page & Paul Nuttall for UKIP, in an attempt to bankrupt me to shut down the flow of facts about UKIP which I present. They lost their case in Court and to date have failed to act honourably and pay the some £13,000 they owe me.

The third instance was based on a pack of lies presented by Gerard Batten regarding which the police were misguidedly duped into interviewing me under caution for some 3 hours. The police decision was there was absolutely no case to answer and that I had not acted in any breech of the law and Gerard Batten was shown to have lied to try to build a case.

Let us be certain – I can unequivocally state that any claim by UKIP that they have intimidated those who publish under the name Junius into giving up is untrue and like so many other stories that emanate from UKIP and its placemen is just a pack of lies.

Godfrey Bloom, no doubt in the realisation that Nigel Farage was not up to the job of acting as a leader, has done the rigght thing for once and spared UKIP the problem of yet another corrupt Kangaroo Court.

Godfrey Bloom has resigned from UKIP as an MEP – No doubt aware that the posturing stance Farage had taken in withdrawing the whip was of course just a nonsense.

Many will be aware that unlike Westminster ‘The Whip’ not only does not exist in the EU Parliament but is officially proscribed – There is no Whip system as it is illegal (Maybe Nigel Farage does not realise this, he may have been in some pub when the rules were being explained!).

So now UKIP have only 7 MEPs left out of the 13 they originally had elected – all have quit in disagreement with Nigel Farage and as a result of his inept leadership.

Of the 7 remaining you will also note that John Bufton is no longer technically on side as he diametrically disagrees wiuth Farage’s policy on Wales, for which he was placed as the candidate and won! There is talk that Bufton may stand again in some capacity in 2015 but for sure he has refused to stand under the UKIP banner and represent Farage’s policies for his region!

Thus it would ber fair to say that of an initial intake of 13 UKIP is now down to 6!

On the subject of Bloom’s resignation I shal;kl leave it to Guido to comment:

Godders has quit the party and announced he will stand as an independent:

“I have felt for some time now that the ‘New UKIP’ is not really right for me any more, perhaps, than New Labour was right for the Denis ‘The beast of Bolsover’ Skinner. However our message is clear. Self- government. Our wonderful and loyal membership will win through with their dedication and hard work. It has been a pleasure to work with them for 15 years. May I take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to the thousands of people who have supported me with messages of goodwill in the recent months and particularly in recent days. There have been simply too many to make a personal response. I shall sit out my term as an independent and give my wholehearted support to Jane Collins, who is almost certainly going to be the next UKIP MEP. I shall of course retain my membership. Onwards and upwards!”

Now he’s free to speak his mind guess we’ll find out what he really thinks…

UPDATE: Nigel Farage responds:

“Whilst it’s very sad that it has come to the point that Godfrey is no longer an MEP for UKIP, he has made the right decision. He has been a hardworking and loyal MEP for UKIP, however as the party professionalizes and becomes a far more disciplined machine Godfrey has decided he no longer fits in. He is still privately a member of UKIP but will sit as an independent MEP and will no longer be spokesman for the party. I of course wish him well as does the party at large.”

Let us not forget that this entire debacle, whatever spin UKIP Press Office may wish to put on it is down to the inept leadership of Nigel Farage and his corrupt rigging of the selection process to place his drinking buddy as an MEP in the first place.

Shaky: The UKIP leader has taken a number of PR hits this week at the hands of his nearest and dearest

Hot on the heels of Godfrey Bloom’s ‘you’re all sluts’ cry to women at a fringe meeting, I learn of further discomfort for UKIP leader Nigel Farage.

This time it is much closer to home, involving his pretty, if seemingly rather naive, PR adviser Annabelle Fuller who tried to defend MEP Bloom before Farage suspended him.

Of course, there’s nothing like a few dirty tricks in politics — especially in conference season — to keep everyone amused.

But fitness aficionado Annabelle, 31, was most definitely not amused when embarrassing emails she allegedly wrote were exposed by a hacker.

The messages were between herself and a friend, Sean Howlett, 20 — a former contender for the chairmanship of the party’s youth wing.

They are said to have revealed apparently disparaging remarks Annabelle had written about leading UKIP members, including Diane James, the party’s candidate for the South-East at next year’s European elections

The emails were all the more embarrassing because Ms James was also the party’s candidate at this year’s Eastleigh by-election — she lost by 1,771 votes — and employed Annabelle as her press officer for the campaign.

But Annabelle assures me she has nothing but respect and admiration for Diane.

‘I like her a lot and I have been to the police over the matter,’ she says. ‘People are trying to damage me.

‘I went to the Met because my emails were involved and Sean went to Hertfordshire police because he lives there.

‘We had the addresses of the people who hacked the account, but neither police force wanted to pursue it. I am very disappointed.’

The affair cannot have pleased ebullient Farage, but he remains loyally supportive of Annabelle — in July, I spotted him on his way to take his spokeswoman for a curry near her home in North London after he had spent the day watching the Test match at Lord’s.

Annabelle, however, is the resilient type and is bound to bounce back — just as she did two years ago after Tory MP Andrew Bridgen was arrested over allegations he had groped her on the balcony of his Westminster flat.

She explained at the time that she only went to his flat for ‘a quick fag’, but a security guard called the police after she fled bare-footed in the early hours.

The case was dropped after she told police she did not want to take the incident further.

You will note: I predicted there would be some cock and bull implausible claim of ‘Hacking’ long after the event – just as there were claims she hadn been ‘groped’ (in the presence of others, at Andrew Bridgen’s flat, after she had been drinking all day and had stolen his mobile pjhone, House of Commons pass and a letter (which she admitted) and was arrested.

In both instances the police, it seems, took no further action.

Annabelle Fuller has cost UKIP a great deal over the years with her well documented lies, irresponsibility, foul mouthed outbursts and vile comments.

UKIP watchers may well be interested in the statement below by Mike Nattrass that I have received, which is doing the rounds:

I THINK THE FOLLOWING MAY EXPLAIN WHY HONESTY DOES NOT PAY IF YOU WISH TO REMAIN A UKIP MEP UNDER NIGEL FARAGE …
AND WHY I AM A TROUBLEMAKER.

1.I
stood up and supported the campaign against UKIP becoming a Pan European Party. I said that single parties across the EU would be a clear stepping stone to EU Federalism. (just like Republicans and Democrats across all USA states).

Nigel was incandescent when the members rejected the proposal because he was denied more money, I was blamed.

2. I
flagged up the fact that that Nigel started paying his wife (back in the 2004 parliamentary session) after telling all UKIP MEPs at length that one of the Golden Rules was that no UKIP MEP could pay a wife.

He secretly paid his wife without consulting the other UKIP MEPs and he was found out. Just like the pigs in animal farm changing the rules to suit themselves, he gave no apology.

He knew that I had exposed him.

3. I
campaigned against the UKIP Constitution, because it put all the Party’s power into the hands of one person, Nigel Farage.

That Constitution was passed by 91.8% according to Nigel. I doubt if many members read it before voting!

Nigel was aware that I advised members to vote NO.

4. I
pointed out that the EFD EU Group which Nigel leads (to get more money) contained Italian racists. I wrote to the NEC giving a dossier on Mario Borghasio and others … it was ignored and I left the EFD Group.

Later Mario openly supported the words of the Norwegian mass murderer and went on to racially abuse a black lady Italian Government Minister.

Did I get “well spotted, Mike” no I was the problem.

There are other aspects but you may see my point by now……… he who speaks the truth is fixed by Nigel’s hit squad. As time goes by the truth of what I am saying will be understood. Every party needs democratic discussion on policy…..not Farage’s Totalitarianism.

The Hit Squad continue to eject truth tellers and over the last three weeks two NEC members have been expelled, Doug Denny and Chris Pain for being honest ….. so where is the incentive to tell the truth within UKIP?

I first joined the UKIP NEC in 1997, I have been Party Chairman and later Deputy Leader and agree UKIP policy and have many friends within the membership but to allow the whole of our efforts to fall into the wrong hands was never the objective.

As for expansion, it is a fact that UKIP is now better known but the party had more MEPs under Roger Knapman than it does today. You will note how a number of UKIP MEPs have left and others are “marked down” on the MEP selection voting list. e.g. William Dartmouth and Gerard Batten …. quite simply because they do express their own views (however neither was in the vote rigging meeting)

UKIP must be known for policy, not for lack of honour and lack of truth.

MIKE NATTRASS MEP

Clearly Mike Nattrass is seeking to clear his name having been not only a stauncfh supporter of Nigel Farage and the corruption of UKIP as we should all remember that not only was he very much a part of the team that instigated much of the corruption but he also invested a considerable amount of his own money to ensure he personally remained a part of that and kept his place on the gravy train.

Nattrass has in fact largely destroyed his credibility by making claims that seem very exagerated, as with his claim that HE exposed Farage’s unethical payment of his wife Kirsten when it is very clear he did nothing of the sort as it was information I was party to and was published in the broadsheet media by Daniel Foggo.

It must also be recognised that with his bullying mannerNattrass was seen as very much one of Farage’s enforcers and it is seen as actions to improve his own position that found him providing offices for UKIP and playing an on off relationship with the undeniably racist, anti homosexual, extremist UKIP grouping in the EU as members of the pan EU EFD Group which hje did lit6tle to oppose until he had the opportunity to follow the e3thical lead of Nikki Sinclaire when he and Trevor Coleman sometime UKIP MEP quit the group.

The on off Hokey Kokey behaviour of Nattrass can also be seen in his seemingly unethical dealings with the EDP, to whom he made aedvances and agreed not6 only to speak at their conference but the terms of his joining The English Democrat Party, on which he reneged, at the last minute, on the flimsiest of grounds.

It is also worth noting that of 18 elected MEPs UKIP currently has only 7 sitting


Nigel Farage South East Region		Stuart Agnew Eastern Region	Gerard Batten London Region

	John Bufton Wales	Paul Nuttall North West Region	Derek Clark East Midlands Region

	William Dartmouth South West Region

+ of course the self serving

Roger Helmer who was elected as a Tory and in revenge for not being able to force his chosen successor now sits with UKIP on their extremist, racist and anti homosexual EFD Group, where he is more a liability than an assett.

Trevor Coleman is still technicaly an MEP in UKIP though he rarely turns up and would seem to be such an infrequent visitor that he is I believe in jeopardy of forfeiting his allowances and losing his staff! Do also note he followed the ethical example of Nikki Sinclaire and quitthe odious EFD Group, thus no longer sitting with UKIP.
