Back in November 2011, Ukip posted a video on YouTube in which Nigel Farage tried to knock on the head the notion that Ukip was a “whites only” party – propagated, he said, by The Independent and The Guardian – which was peopled by “very angry old men.” As evidence, he produced an 18-year-old named Sanya-Jeet Thandi, who had taken that autumn’s Ukip conference by storm. “A rising star of the party,” he called her.

As such, she was on Channel 4 only this month defending Ukip’s immigration policies, on the grounds that Ukip would give equal treatment to all would-be immigrants while the EU favours EU citizens.

But Sanya-Jeet Thandi is a rising star of Ukip no more. She has quit in disgust at the anti-immigrant campaign Ukip is now running. “Ukip is exploiting the stupidity of ignorant anti-immigrant voters for electoral gain,” she wrote. “While the party deliberately attracts the racist vote I refuse to be associated with them.”

The events of the past couple of days have also raised questions about how much certain members of Ukip value free speech. Janice Atkinson, who chairs the party in the South-east, thinks protesters who shout “fascist” at Ukip members should be arrested. And an unidentified councillor:

 

 

 

sent for the police because he objected to a tweet posted by a Green blogger, Michael Abberton, lampooning Ukip policy.

Finally, the Camden New Journal recorded a Ukip candidate in West Hampstead, Magnus Neilsen:

reflecting that the Reform Acts of 1832 and 1888, which extended the vote to working-class men, may have been a mistake.

But there is a group of Ukip activists who value free expression – their own, if no one else’s. Protesting against the treatment of “hard-working, right-thinking, garage-owning Brits”, they have been busy in Cambridge decorating the doors of a row of garages with large black vinyl letters spelling out the words “Farage garage” – which they presumably pronounce so that the two words rhyme, though some of us make Farage rhyme with barrage and garage with carriage.

The letters were easily removed without damage to the doors, but when Cambridge News asked Ukip’s Cambridge branch chairman, Peter Burkinshaw, what he thought of this stunt, he replied: “I hate graffiti of all kinds. I think these messages should be illegal.” Spoken like a true Ukipper.

Police ask blogger to remove tweet about Ukip

Police have asked a blogger to remove a tweet that fact-checked Ukip policies but did not break any laws after receiving a complaint from a Ukip councillor, prompting concern over attempts to stifle debate.

Michael Abberton was visited by two Cambridgeshire police officers on Saturday. He was told he had not committed any crimes and no action was taken against him, but he was asked to delete some of his tweets, particularly a tongue-in-cheek one on 10 reasons to vote for Ukip, such as scrapping paid maternity leave and raising income tax for the poorest 88% of Britons.

Abberton, a Green party member who writes a blog on science and green politics, described the incident on his Axe of Reason blog.

“The police explained that I hadn’t broken any law – there was no charge to answer and it really wasn’t a police matter.

“They asked me to ‘take it down’ but I said I couldn’t do that as it had already been retweeted and appropriated, copied, many times and I no longer had any control of it (I had to explain to one of the officers what Twitter was and how it worked). They said that they couldn’t force me to take it down anyway.”

However, to show goodwill Abberton removed all instances of the offending tweet.

A Cambridgeshire police spokesman said: “A Ukip councillor came across a tweet which he took exception to. The name of the person on the tweet was identified and that individual was spoken to. We looked at this for offences and there was nothing we could actually identify that required police intervention. Clearly, the councillor was unhappy about the tweets. If every political person was unhappy about what somebody else said about their views, we would have no politics.”

As for being told not to tweet about the visit, the spokesman added: “I don’t know if he’d have been told that. It’s certainly not the advice I would have given him. A gentleman has a right to free speech – absolute total right to free speech – we can’t tell people what they can and can’t say on the internet, as long as it’s within the law. We certainly don’t go to people’s houses and say: ‘You can’t tweet about this’. This is not 1930s Germany.”

On his blog, Abberton made it clear that the two police officers were extremely professional and polite, but he did wonder why they had visited him at all.

“It wasn’t until after they left that I questioned why they had visited me in the first place. A complaint had been made but with no legal basis. Not a police matter. So why did they come to my home in the middle of a Saturday afternoon? Also, seeing as my profile doesn’t have my location – how did they know my address, or even the town I live in? … Why would a political party, so close to an election, seek to stop people finding out what their policies are or their past voting record? And is it not a matter for concern that a political party would seek to silence dissent and debate in such a manner?”

Julian Huppert, the Liberal Democrat MP for Cambridge, who was contacted by Abberton, said he was awaiting a detailed response from the police.

“It seems astonishing for the police to get involved, there was nothing abusive or threatening in the tweets so I do want to know why they acted, and I want to know why the police told Abberton not to tweet about the visit.”

Huppert said he was pleased that Ukip’s policies were coming under scrutiny.

Natalie Bennett, leader of the Green party, said: “This police action is both disturbing and surprising. That an apparently general complaint from a political party about not liking what was said about them could have led to a police visit that many would find intimidating is an extremely serious incident that demands immediate investigation. Free speech is a precious right that we must defend.”

Bennett said the party’s only member in the House of Lords, Jenny Jones, would write to Theresa May, the home secretary, to ask her to investigate.

“What a waste of police time, energy and resources,” Jones said. “Their job is to investigate crime and catch criminals, not restrict free speech.”

You are not allowed to read this blog

I’ve written about different things and different people, but surprisingly for a blog (which, let’s face it, is pretty much the archetype of vanity publishing) I’ve never written anything about me.

Until now.

Yesterday afternoon as I was debating whether to continue watching some lame James Caan movie about midget submarines, I was disturbed by a police officer peering through my lounge window. I do live on the ground floor, so not as surprising as you may have imagined. I went to the door and there were two constables there. The first thing they said was that there was nothing to be worried about, they just wanted to come in for a chat. Not something that has ever happened to me before, but I showed them in and sat them on the sofa.

They wondered if I was the Michael Abberton on Twitter and I said yes. Then they said this was in relation to a complaint that had been made by a certain political party in relation to tweets I had published about them and one tweet in particular which talked about ten reasons to vote for them. The PC wanted to know if I had made that poster. I explained that I hadn’t but it had been doing the rounds on Twitter for a while, and so I had decided to see if these claims could be verified.

In doing this I set myself strict rules – nothing second hand, nothing from a newspaper, everything from an official party source as much as possible. Some I could find no basis for, and I highlighted these in bold. The only thing I quoted which did not come from an official party source was the parliamentary voting record. I explained all this to the police in some detail – also that on several occasions I had simply sent people the link to the official party manifesto.

The police explained that I hadn’t broken any law – there was no charge to answer and it really wasn’t a police matter. 

They asked me to ‘take it down’ but I said I couldn’t do that as it had already been retweeted and appropriated, copied, many times and I no longer had any control of it (I had to explain to one of the officers what Twitter was and how it worked). They said that they couldn’t force me to take it down anyway.

I asked if I could tweet about the visit. The straight answer was ‘no’, as this might appear prejudicial in light of the upcoming election and the police must appear to remain neutral. But they couldn’t stop me from doing so, as I had Freedom of Speech. Incredulously, I said, “…but you must realise how this looks!” One shrugged, the other looked embarrassed.

As they were getting up to leave I asked for clarification – was this in relation to possible copyright infringement – and they were very clear on that point. It wasn’t, and they didn’t see how it could be. And even if it were, again it would not be a police but a civil matter.

I’d like to be absolutely clear – the police officers were extremely professional and polite and I couldn’t fault their behaviour in any way. But it wasn’t until after they left that I questioned why they had visited me in the first place. A complaint had been made but with no legal basis. Not a police matter. So why did they come to my home in the middle of a Saturday afternoon? Also, seeing as my profile doesn’t have my location – how did they know my address, or even the town I live in?

About fifteen minutes after they left I received a threatening tweet from a party member I had had an exchange with earlier in the day. Though appearing to be no more than a party supporter, he seemed to know that the police had been involved. I copied the tweet and sent it to the police.

I contacted some people I’d had exchanges with involving this party. One of them put me in touch with a solicitor and a journalist and advised that I contact my MP, which I’ve done. And whilst acknowledging the fact that the police had no right to censure my posts, in order to show goodwill I removed all instances of the poster where I’d sent it @someone, and have not tweeted about the visit or about that political party since.

Nevertheless, the story has gotten out and it seems people do feel (rightly) outraged by it.

If I had been abusive in any way, if I had been dishonest in any respect or if any of the sources had been fake rather than official party links, I could in some way understand it. But all I had done is promote the party policy using links to their own sources – no editorialising, no commenting. And in fairness highlighted those allegations I could find no evidence for. One of the sources was their current manifesto!

Why would a political party, so close to an election, seek to stop people finding out what their policies are or their past voting record? And is it not a matter for concern that a political party would seek to silence dissent and debate in such a manner?

One has to wonder what makes these odious buffoons in UKIP believe the law is there to be abused to suit their convenience – be that the liar and fraud Annabelle Fuller with her implausible claims, having been caught stealing Andrew Bridgen MP’s Blackberry phone, House of Commons Pass and correspondence.
One wonders why The Metripolitan Police failed to charge her with theft at the very least, let alone false allegations of sexual harassment or even wasting Police time when she failed to stand by her implausible claim subsequent to having it published. Let us hope that it is not too late for the Met. to acquit their duty and arrest and charge her.
 Twitter comments lead me to believe that the UKIP councillor in question, who made the nuisance complaint to the Cambridgeshire Police was UKIP’s Regional Organiser Peter Reeve, who you may recall was some time back under investigation by the police for assault in his aggressive manhandling of an attendee at a UKIP meeting. Peter Reeve was also embroilled in an OLAF Fraud investigation by two UKIP MEPs who admitted to the Sunday Times that they were fiddling their expenses to pay his salary with tax payers’ money fraudulently obtained by Stuart Agnew and David Bannerman.
I also understand a UKIP MEP is under investigation for having subourned at least 2 Metropolitan Police Officers into corruption of the legal process and I shall be adding to Gerard Batten’s woes in the light of this fact by making a complaint of my own to The South Wales Constabulary who, acting on the instruction of The Met. saw fit to act as erand boys for Gerard Batten and interview me for almost three hours, under caution, based on dishonest claims made by this dishonest and corrupt MEP who I had clearly identified as corrupt and acting in a manner likely to promote racial hatred and possible violence.
Let us see just how institutionally corrupt The Metropolitan Police transpire to be in this matter and whether they are taking a position of revenge against the Government by acting to assit promote possible racial hatred and the interests of UKIP in a manner which would seem to me to be undeniably corrupt, it would also seem to involve members of the Judiciary.
Imagine if UKIP were to become a relevant power in Britain – it would be a Police State with the Police acting as political errand boys – a land where people walked in fear of corruption and abuse, bullying and dishonesty.

I found this interesting:

A UKIP Regional Organiser Peter Reeve who cohabits with a UKIP NEC member a paid employee of the party and when both Peter Reeve & Lisa Duffy BOTH used UKIP to be elected as local councillors – just as David (The Desk) Bannerman sold out the Tory Party and used UKIP to get himself elected it seems just like the duplicitous and untrustworthy David Bannerman Peter Reeve is also playing a double game.

You will note on the Tory EU site Peter Reeve is still on the payroll of David Bannerman working for the Tory Party – or perhaps leaking UKIP information to them or even perhaps employed because he knows enough about the corruption and dishonesty of David Bannerman that he could ‘bury’ him politically.

Don’t forget David Bannerman – a proven liar who claims to be related to a long dead Prime Minister who he has ZERO blood relationship with and who betrayed the Tory Party to get elected and has now betrayed the electorate for his own gain is currently under investigation by OLAF – The EU Fraud investigation organisation for his abuse of the public purse as shown by The Sunday Times and admitted to by his co-conspirator and co-defendent Stuart Agnew MEP – a representative of The NFU:

You will note the comment of Stuart Agnew which is an outright confession of criminality and fraud against the public purse!:

“I can tell you that Peter is paid partly by me out of my assistance allowance here partly by David Bannerman . He does very little work for us, virtually none. He is working for the party. And that’s strictly illegal.”

I understand that not only has David Bannerman lied about his claimed ancestor but has betrayed The Tories, UKIP and the electorate! It seems that David Bannerman lied by omission in his application to betray UKIP and join the Tories.

It seems Peter Reeve is acting very similarly but sadly UKIP has consistently attracted the corrupt, the dishonest and the unethical to its leadership and their parasites!

it is almost unbelievable just what a mess UKIP leadership are in – unless I am being set up by two completely unrelated sources that are usually very reliable!

Had it not been confirmed to me I can assure you I would NOT have published as I find it hard to believe even UKIP can be so crass and unprofessional!

I gather that whilst Farage is abusing his family friends and has used them to make a pantomime of the UKIP NEC for their past allegiances with The BNP.

We have festering idiots on various forums like Independent UKIP and the implausibly contrived Arthur Fonzanelli and the odious and particularly stupid Mick McGough making much of chucking BNP members out of UKIP – Meanwhile Farage had meetings with emissaries of the BNP in the past

When it is stated he was making overtures to The BNP.

Just as he employed the extremist Mark Croucher who could be relied on to construct and contort any lie for personal gain it seems, much as fantasists like Douglas Denny and Mick McGough or even Derek Clark, Graham Booth, Tom Wise, Jeffrey Titford & Nigel Farage  who haves been all to ready to lie, cheat or steal from the public purse as The OLAF reports have shown!

You will recal according to the public claims of Stuart Agnew he and David Bannerman were stealing money fraudulently as did Derek Clark & Graham Booth before them to fund political party staff – in the case of Agnew’s boast of dishonesty and corruption it was to fund The Regional Organiser for UKIP Eastern Region.

This case has led to an OLAF enquiry which at last update from OLAF was ongoing.

Interestingly Peter Reeve was recently shown to be a contributor to a Tory publication recently published by his chum David Bannerman.

This of course has led to a row in UKIP’s Eastern Region as even Gollom became involved and seems to have set aside his personal crusade against cats to make much of the issue – he of course has never forgiven Peter Reeve for having failed to defend his corruption of the Eastern Region MEP selection process and is all too well aware that the odious pair Reeve and his doxy Lisa Duffy the mare of Ramsay are angling and wangling in every way to establish themselves as leading candidates for MEP in 2014 – Won’t UKIP’s Essex idiot be miffed cosequentially failing to see just how much hard he has personally done UKIP with his vile behaviour! We note Gulleford already is more than a little miffed!

It is amusing that Gollom can not see the hypocrisy of making much of Reeve providing work for The Tories, when he himself has for many years tried to ride two horses as an employee in Chelmsford (and before) for UKIP whilst serving his original master the Labour Peer David Stoddart, but then again Gulleyford never was very bright or particularly trustworthy!

Returning to The BNP issue: You may also remember that Farage PERSONALLY approved Alan Hardy‘s membership of UKIP after he had briefly been in The BNP – only for UKIP to then lose a Court case and their ridiculous appeal which would seem to have cost UKIP almost as much as Derek Clark had ripped off the public purse for!
Now we have the idiotic Wee Willie Dartmouth apparently toddling off to give a speech to The BNP members at Star Tavern in Belgravia this evening at 19:00hrs.
Keeping up with the duplicitous vagaries of UKIP leadership is quite a task it seems! They so lack professionalism, an understanding of ethics or any integrity as to be unfit for purpose – However we may be seeing a re-allignment to ajust UKIP policy in The UK to occupy the racist cause with the antics of Gerard Batten their interest in Immigration Policy by Petition but clear lack of support for The Petition to hold a Referendum on In/Out of The EU via Parliamentary debate.
A re-allignment to accord with their vile extremist chums in the racist, anti Jewish, violent and anti homosexual EU Revisionist Group The EFD in The EU.
The BNP have many overlapping policies with both The EFD in general and UKIP in specific!
So either Wee Willie is having another of his aberative tantrums or has been set up by Farage as an emisary for UKIP who can be disowned and abused in future.

We are intrigued to learn that William Dartmouth will be addressing a meeting of a BNP front group at the Star Tavern,  6 Belgrave Mews West, London, SW1X 8HT (10 Nov). The nearest tube station is Knightsbridge. The meeting will get underway at 7pm.

IT WOULD SEEM I WAS CORRECT

I issued a caveat at the start of this article stating that I MAY be being set up with this information – I have checked back and it was NOT the intention of my sources but it seems there was a widespread distribution of information that eventually came my way that the faintly idiotic Wee Willie Dartmouth – as one of Farage’s placed muppets, had been approached to speak with the dangerously unreliable Swinton Circle.

I say dangerously unreliable in that they have close links to the Racist groups and an indifference to criminality as they were happy to give both Lindsay Jenkins and Tom Wise platforms whilst they were facing criminal charges when it was abundantly clear they had colluded in defrauding the public purse and the fact that Tom Wise was a personal beneficiary of this fraud led to his pleading guilty and receiving a 2 Year Prison sentence.

The Swinton Circle were well aware of the nature of the criminality yet still provided support and a platform!

It would SEEM Wee Willie SEEMS to share my opinion of The Swinton Circle and declined their invitation to speak.

I apologise if I inconvenienced anyone, and am relieved that I included the caveat – sorry, my various informants were wrong but I do not believe they acted with any malice.

I was far from surprised to recieve a couple of phone calls that believed that the talk was called off after first Junius published the details and then I published independently, subsequently reading The Junius article I included it above. The number of people who seem to have heard about the talk and the rapidity of the attempted cover-up leads me to believe there may well be truth in the fact that the talk was merely ‘pulled’ at the last moment due to Junius and I both publishing the details we had independently heard.

I gather Junius’ source was within The EU – mine were originally from Britain and a later confirmation was from The EU. I wonder who jumped in to speak at the last minute – though it is of little interest as few take notice of The Swinton Circle’s little meetings.

I did not remember The Star Tavern from the 1960s when I used to visit occasionally though more often a client of The Plumbers:

Clearly whoever writes this drivel has little command of facts despite the oleagenous and pathetic sneering style.

Lets look at what the fool has to say:

Yet despite this UKIP has only ever achieved less than 30 elected seats out of the 19,500 available in Governance of these United Kingdoms.

It would seem that the people have seen through the charade of UKIP and its self serving self enriching and squabbling leadership claque!

as for self determination – UKIP have failed after 20 years of expenditure and much carousing and gutter politics to either convince the electorate of their good intentions or to provide any kind of exit and survival strategy, vision or plan let alone strategy, organisational structure, professionalism or any kind of tactics – The electorate have noticed and in domestic politics have clearly ignored them as about as relevant as The BNP, The Greens  or The BFP.

At a time when the creepy Lib.Dims. are seemingly at an all time low UKIP has failed to come even close to ousting them in any single domestic seat at election whether general or by election.

The failure would seem to be largely due to total lack of OQ amongst its leadership in fact no Officer class whatever and populist as they may strive to be the public seek leadership from those they can respect – a quality astonishingly absent amongst the leadership of UKIP and its vile parasites mostly on the make and the take and willing to demean themselves in any manner just to achievbe their personal ambitions and gratification.

The politicisation of any previously non-political group is actually a very bad thing in my opinion. Would you say it was a good thing that Remembrance Sunday is becoming more and more political? How long before it’s just another campaign activity that we all tick off on our campaign plans? I have never and will never lay a UKIP Wreath at a remembrance parade. I don’t want politics in that day. Look at the outcry when Tony Blair tried to use Royal occasions for party politics.

Try reading the Triumph of the political class by Peter Obourne. Brilliant Book. We should be fighting for less politics in things not more.

I do congratulate Lisa and her team on their result but I am still slightly saddened that politics has gained another foothold. In my opinion party politics shouldn’t be a part of local government at any level.

UKIP: Disgust in Ramsey as Reeve and Duffy politicize parish council

UKIP spin doctors have made much of the fact that the party recently ‘gained control’ of it’s first council in Ramsey, Cambs.

Forget the spin. Here are the facts.

Ramsey Town Council has the same powers as a parish council. Nothing more, nothing less. To present this a massive victory for UKIP is absurd!

Candidates were always non-political. But then along came Reeve and Duffy.

We can confirm via our contacts in Ramsey that recent events have left a very sour taste in the town with allegations of ‘dirty tricks’ on the part of Reeve and his munchkins.

For instance:

During the campaign, Reeve posted numerous election posters across the town WITHOUT getting permission from the local authorities. Complaints were made to the returning officer and they were removed. However, within a few days they had mysteriously reappeared. Reeve, of course, claimed to know nothing about this.

Reeve also distributed election literature which failed to comply with electoral law. For instance, official UKIP leaflets and letters failed to mention who had promoted or printed the literature.

They are allegations that UKIP’s election expenditure far exceeded the amount allowed by law.

The Lib Dems did not contest the election and the Tories failed to distribute election literature or conduct even a basic campaign. UKIP was given a easy ride.

Three of UKIP’s candidates don’t even live in Ramsey.

Reeve – at the very first council meeting – had the UKIP councillors appoint Lisa Duffy – his girlfriend – mayor. He also instructed them to appoint Ian Curtis – his friend – deputy mayor.

He then told the non-UKIP councillors – he used the words ‘you lot’ – to sit on the other side of the table facing ‘his councillors’ did not wish to sit alongside them. This arrogant, combative stance has angered many in the town.

Reeve is also claiming credit for planning a Micro Business Centre in the town, In fact, this idea was first put forward by the ‘Ramsey Intiative‘. See: LINK

Reeve and Duffy are VERY ambitious people. They ultimate goal is sit alongside Farage in Brussels. Reeve also thinks that one day he will become UKIP’s first elected MP. He has even promised to marry Duffy in Westminster once elected as a Cambridgshire MP!

They are using the people of Ramsey for their own sordid ends. Greed is the sole thing that motivates this dishonest pair!

Delusions of grandeur has always formed a large part of the psyche of this unsavoury duo! Let’s just hope that the Town’s officials are good at damage limitation!

We have been amused by the amount of UKIP supporters on Twitter, Facebook and the blogs who seem to think that winning a majority (in crude fashion) on a non-political council is a cause for celebration.

I understand that there are even allegations floating around Ramsey that claim that Peter Reeve even used cash – presumably stolen by Stuart Agnew from the tax payers in the style of the fraud he has admitted to – hearsay claims that the cash was used to bribe support of a Tory member or their switch to UKIP which would not surprise me as UKIP leadership team have shown themselves time andf again to have nothing but contempt for Electoral Law, the Electoral Commission and any sense of moral, ethical or financial probity.

I can well imagine the likes of Peter Reeve as a staffer of UKIP would be all too willing to buy votes in one way or another – I believe him to be that dishonest and corrupt but in this particular narrow example I have absolutely no clear evidence beyond the gossip from Ramsey and the belief that the amount of posters and leaflets seemed disproportionate to the norm within accepted electoral practice.

I had also understood that it was a requirement of electoral law on what are in political circles nick named ‘Dog Dirt Council’ namely irrelevancies like the Parish Council of Ramsey albeit flattered by its grandiose  styling as ‘Town Council’ that it was the custom – even perhaps the law that Councillors at very least lived or had businesses within the Council bounds in fact is it not within the specific ward?

an interesting comment on the obvious stupidity of letting idiots loose acting in their own interest and self serving greed for status to desperately try to lie, cheat and leapfrog their way to listing as potential MEPs – Just how embarrassing can the on line snippet in The Daily Mail be regarding this disaster?

Genuine Patriots in UKIP must be relieved that the story of this foolish and dishonourable failure did not get into any papers of note.

This does rather show the stupidity of unprofessional UKIP with no competent training being used and abused for personal gain! What a shame to politicise yet another area of life just for these odious nobodies!

I assume this includes the quoted 1,400 students at the local college!

I do appreciate this is being promoted as some sort of achievement to cover for the wholesale failure of UKIP in domestic politics.

I live in Chepstow in Monmouthshire at Geo. Sat. 353 484-194 013 or if you would rather NP16 5ET & NP16 5EX – you will note that is almost slap bang in the middle of the town of Chepstow.

Chepstow has a population of around 20,000 and in most wards it is a struggle to find someone to stand for the clown Council as it is – like all other Town Councils – virtually irrelevant – in fact I haven’t a clue and less interest who is the Mayor, a title awarded on the basis of ‘Buggins Turn’. £1 for each time I have been approached to stand or be co-opted to unfilled seats would pay for a pleasant evening for myself and a couple of friends at a local restaurant.

I note the comments of a UKIP supporter, in the local area of Ramsey, Len Baynes on one of the UKIP controlled Forums is telling and clearly UKIP would seem to have done themselves more harm than good with this appointment:

There are times when it is a good strategy not to win some elections. It has been a good strategy by Peter Reeve & Lisa Duffy to win district & council seats in their town & Lisa is set fair to win the final district council seat next year.

But the way they have taken over the parish council has left a bad taste in the town. The council has always been non-political and has had good respresentation from the town & the villages which make up the Ramsey ward. But UKIP flooded the ballot paper with candidates some of whom don’t live in the ward; and won an immediate majority. They then voted in Lisa Duffy as mayor and Ian Curtis as deputy mayor. Indeed the whole stance is combative so instead of everyone sitting randomly round the table Reeve has put all the UKIP members on one side of the table and the rest on the other side.

This is too much too soon and has shaken a lot of people in the town. It would be stupid to lose the bigger prizes by appearing to want a “benign” dictatorship in the area.

So far contary to some of the statements on this forum the Tories have been quite laid back about UKIP in the Ramsey area as they have huge majorities in Huntingdon DC and Peterborogh City council. This year the Lib DEms didn’t put up a candidate and the Tories put up a paper candidate & did no canvassing or electioneering. However make too big a noise and maybe they’ll get together in a common cause and start spending some money.

Come on guys use your brains

 Another supporter in damning Peter Reeve with sarcasm and feint praise for mounting this politicised raid describes the situation as Lilliputian!

It is hard to disagree – yes indeed well done for personal achievement there will always be those who seek to busy body and claim importance and it is great that our democracy allows for such self important people to gather and discuss, with no authority, the siting of benches, doug fouling in the streets, and as a vent for complaints about late night noise on some Councils they even sometimes have a local community Constable attend.

Even locally I have NEVER heard a political party crowing over the banal squabblings of the mental midgets on our council.

Sorry to present this as some great achievement shows UKIP up and demeans the party more than assists them.

That the party had such risible results in the recent local elections is further highlighted by the fact that they make much of this when let us face it Steve Povey would have been embarrassed if such agrandisement of his time as Mayor had been thus presented!

It is all as toe curlingly embarrassing as  having UKIP represented by proven liars and cheats like Mick McGough, David Bannerman and the like – the gonadically challenged like Gerard Batten, John Bufton and their ilk the utterly stupid like Godfrey bloom or the fraudulently dishonest such as Stuart Agnew, Derek Clark.

Then to see some irrelevant hireling writing blogs and essays dragging the name and reputation of Winston Churchill into the gutter politics of UKIP so demeans the party as to further render them unfit for purpose.

The tragedy is that UKIP was our only lifeboat and they have so demeaned themselves that the people of Britain have resoundingly rejected them as even after 18 years and many £Millions invested out of the 19,500 available seats for election their only claim is to have done better than the crypto communist Greens and promote as their great achievement ONE Mayor placed in a town council! Less than 30 seats are occupied across Britain by those elected as UKIP and of those 13 were elected on the wake of protest against Westminster’s perceived corruption to be MEPs – seen by the British public as largely irrelevant – and who could argue!

Sadly in or should I say within The EU UKIP’s residual 9 members in support of Farage would seem only to be seen as a slightly embarrassing comedy act. It is hardly surprising when one looks at the pond life gathered and rewarded as praise singers – all too willing to offer praise of Farage in return for the monies he liberally contributes to them from the public purse!

Is it any wonder that UKIP is described as bankrupt which I readily concede is something of a foolish statement by the half baked accountant and self publicist Marta Andreasen but that they are technically insolvent must come as little surprise as they desperately wriggle and squirm to avoid further liabilities for their utter incompetence in leadership and man management that has laid them open to serial exposure in the Courts.

Clearly they are broke as they have not as yet honoured their moral debts to me of £12,500 and clearly can not pay them – nor even honour the debt they incurred by their action as ordered by Cardiff Courts of £8,500 – yes it seems they are technically bankrupt their only excuse may be that they are morally bankrupt and utterly duplicitous.

I note Farage has been asked ‘to do a turn’ on 31st. May at a funded talking shop where the promotion is based on offering as compensation for listening to him ‘At least the cocktails will be enjoyable’ – in the invitations!

a small example for UKIP that shows that corruption, dishonesty, greed, bullying and liars are no substitute for integrity.

Congratulations to Chris Hudson who yesterday won the seat of Suffolk Coastal as a Tory.

Many will remember this was the seat where John West was the candidate for UKIP until he was lied about, abused, ridiculed and mocked with no political support from scum like utterly discredited thief fraud and dishonourable Stuart Agnew MEP, the liar George Curtis, the corrupt and professionally inadequate Andrew Smith, the totally discreditted liar cheat and low life Mick McGough, the foul mouthed and dishonourable Annabelle Fuller, the bully liar and discreditted abuser Peter Reeve, the dellusional dishonest creep David Bannerman, the self serving corrupt Stuart Gulleford and others.

Let us not forget that UKIP destroyed Suffolk Coastal branch and in the election yesterday was completely incapable of finding a single applicant or representative to stand not even on their level of paper candidate could they even find toilet paper to stand!

For quite some time Chris Hudson was lauded by UKIP and even called upon to represent Geoffrey Titford, UKIP’s one time leader – Chris’s political experience was called upon by Farage for advice even having years of experience with the Tory Party.

Chris Hudson had lent his support to UKIP in the belief that they would act as Britain’s lifeboat to lead Britain to Leave-The-EU – when it became apparent they were just a small claque seeking self aggrandisement and self enrichment through exploitation he accepted the Tory offer to return and be their candidate in Suffolk Coastal.

Standing for his first time and still adherent to his Leave-The-EU agenda at first glance it looks as if he has received a larger percentage of the vote than had UKIP anywhere!

UKIP on the other hand has seen the outcome of their odious behaviour and their results have been an unmitigated and unprincipled catastrophy if it is still pretending to lead Britain to Leave-The-EU.

Questions for Gerard Batten EFD MEP

Gerard Batten is due to attend an open UKIP meeting this Saturday in Hertfordshire. We trust that Gerard will be asked why he is still prepared to sit in the extremist, racist, anti Jewish & pro EU membership EFD Group when Mike Nattrass MEP, Nikki Sinclaire MEP and Trevor Colman MEP are not.

We would also be interested in his opinions as to why no action has been taken by UKIP’s NEC after The Sunday Times obtained incriminating statements that UKIP MEPs Agnew and Bannerman – the region’s UKIP MEPs – were /fraudulently obtaining tax payers’ money and illegally paying the UKIP Regional Organiser Peter Reeve out of their EU allowances.

Surely, their action has brought the party into disrepute as the story was featured in several newspapers and is clearly true as Agnew was caught on camera boasting of it!. See: CLICK HERE

That both Stuart AGNEW & David BANNERMAN are under investigation for Fraud with prima Facie Evidence should surely cause UKIP pause for thought and that they lacked the integrity, just as with Derek CLARK MEP, speaks volumes of the dross that are UKIP’s Leadership and its parasites.

I wasn’t going to bother with a follow up as I only expected about 30 people to attend but with Robin Page attending as the most notable speaker this dragged the numbers up a little and I gather about 40 are claimed to have attended.

As one attendee told me ‘It looked like a normal UKIP meeting, an undynamic audience of almost exclusively elderly folk the men, on this hot day, in jackets and ties with their overly patched silver haired ladies teased out in rows’!

It was good of Robin to try to bolster Martin Harvey’s meeting but he studiously stayed away from telling the truth about UKIP before shooting off to enjoy the weather leaving the audience somewhat bemused by his avoidance of the facts regarding UKIP – to leave Martin Harvey with his delusions that change can be effected in UKIP.

A measure of just how on the pulse of the Party Martin Harvey manages to keep was his utterly ridiculous outburst and abuse of Christopher Hudson for having left UKIP to join The Tories!

Where has poor old Martin been sleeping?
Christopher Hudson left UKIP when his membership came due for renewal two years ago. That he had never been prepared to stand against Tories during his service to UKIP or subsequently when he was Organiser for Ganley’s Pan EU Libertas Party!!

Bye the Bye – how come Martin Harvey didn’t notice Christopher was opposing UKIP having seen the light way back then!

Once Robin Page had spoken and left the meeting rather slid down hill and became yet more pointless as with the best will in the world – other than for his economic OPINIONS – who would cross the road to listen to the ‘dynamism’ of Tim Congdon or even more tedious Gerard Batten!

One has to feel sorry for the UKIP members with the clowns they have in their leadership team and its parasites. Liars, cheats, nebishes and low lifes almost without exception!

I note the following comments regarding UKIP NEC meeting later today:

    Hopefully Steve Crowther has a lawyer at his elbow tomorrow and resists the efforts of Farage and Nuttall to push Crowther into the mess they are trying to offload onto him. No wonder Crwother is keen to bring back Nikki Sinclaire into full standing with the party.

    Meanwhile Batten and AN other is coming under pressure to leave the Farage group which would finish him off.

    Stuart Wheeler is oressing for all MEPs to make a contribution to the party out of their recently increased salaries.If Nuttall and Farage keep playing games with Wheeler,he will chuck it.

Compare the records of ALL The UKIP MEPs with that of the INDEPENDENT MEP Nikki SINCLAIRE whose accounts are published showing the size and diversity of her donations from personal income – Note also that Sinclaire is personally funding the Nationwide Petition for an In/Out Referendum.

I wonder will Stuart Wheeler have the intelligence to realise he is being duped and the courage to admit it and walk away – I doubt it based on his track record, this man made his money as a professional gambler and chucked £5M at the Tories without ANY rational controls and then went on to loose over half of his fortune when called on to use his business acumen!!

Has Stuart Wheeler the integrity to act and admit yet another ‘Crisis of Trust’ when he realises he has yet again been taken for a fool?

Dear Greg,

I can confirm that the MEP agreement published on your UKIP-vs-EUkip site is genuine.

I was given a copy of the document when I applied to become a UKIP MEP candidate prior to the 2009 EU elections. After reading it, I asked for more information regarding Point 6. I was assured by Peter Reeve and George Curtis (both sat on the Eastern Region MEP selection panel) that it simply referred to sitting in a UKIP group in the EU parliament.

At no time was I told that I would be expected to sit with extremist parties from other European countries.
I am more than happy to confirm this in a signed statement for any Court, should it be required by one of the ethical MEPs who have refused to be associated with extremists and pro EU apeasers seeking ‘change’ not withdrawal as the members wanted.

in view of their continued determination to sell out to EU policy and subsume UKIP via EUkip into a Pan EU Political Party as scheduled on their own web site – whether that is the racist, anti Jewish, xenophobic and pro EU membership EFD Party or some other, like the Marxist Sharon Ellul Bonici’s Pan EU Alliance for Freedom of which Godfrey Bloom MEP is a member, it can only but halve their % rate in Britain – whatever it does for Nigel Farage’s personal bank account!

That would put them back on 2-3% in Britain wide domestic elections, at most.

That only Nikki Sinclaire MEP & Mike Nattrass MEP, from the old school principled and patriotic UKIP grass roots vote, have had the integrity to refuse to sell out that MAY be even lower.

As yet they have no competent replacement for Clive Page or Bridget Rowe in terms of PR, having gone through a particularly sordid stage with Mark Croucher, Gawain Towler & Annabelle Fuller which must be the kiss of death in PR terms!

Nor have they a replacement for James Pryor and at least he was professional, detatched and experienced with many meeeja contacts as an election agent.

To be sure Steve Allison has been brought in but he has no track record and less experience and he seems involved only in the hope of becoming an MEP!

I see them as rudderless, leaderless and moralityless with ZERO financial probity, less transparency and unless they clean up their act and find some intellectual support with political nouse and a spread of backers they are clearly heading for the history books against ALL the trends in their favour.

Just no one trusts charlatans on the make and the take!

In the light of the facts – what will happen to UKIP?


As has been widely noted The BNP tend to do relatively well bumping along at the bottom of the General Election league tables vying with the other minor parties like UKIP not to come last.


Due to the abject collapse after 13 unlucky years of their Kleptocratic QUANGOcratic economic illiteracy of the last government and no clear competent leadership in The Tories from the Boy King Dave with people having increasingly seen through The Lib.Dim. dishonesty, corruption and duplicity UKIP did relatively well in a couple of seats even beating Labour and the Lib.Dims. on occasions.


UKIP talked up The BNP disasterously – however it is clear that although The BNP owe their two MEP seats largely to the support and promotion they endlessly received from Nigel Farage and Mark Croucher particularly.

The con didn’t work so well when they promoted The BNP in a British internal election as in Britain the people realise there is no danger of The BNP making any serious inroads in politics despite the huff and the puff of the biased and extreme pro EU propaganda from the utterly corrupted BBC, Guardianista little Englanders with their childish belief that their little England is inadequate and unable to thrive alone.


The over staffed, over blown and crass incestuous BBC should not treat the rest of the world as being as hugger mugger incestuous and nepotistic as they and areas of left wing politics are.


There is no doubt whatever that Britain will be Better Off Out of the EU and it will be proven when we Leave-The-EU which is now a matter of when not if as the EU sinks into an introspective self interest political scam EVERY ONE of its major projects having palpably failed!


The BNP has been smarter than UKIP but they do have the advantage of a leader competent of leadership – all be it a somewhat brutal and chaotic leadership. UKIP has absolutely no one competent of leadership, no vision, no strategy and no tactics JUST GREED.


The BNP selected regions and seats where they felt they could achieve some sort of result and as a result they were able to beat UKIP on a regular basis – woopy doo UKIP & The BNP took turns coming last, in some places even the Monster Raving loonie Party beat them and in batty Brighton, probably THE most scatter brained town in Britain, even the neo communist control freak party Caroline Lucas beat them!!!


UKIP is finished, an irrelevance, a non entity and will remain so sinking into the septic tank of EU politics and continuing to enrich and engorge a dwindling leadership claque of unprincipled and incompetent scum. All befor The BNP had a chance to show howmany factions they could split into!!


Sad really when UKIP was clearly our ONLY lifeboat to watch it being destroyed by the rascals, pirots and theives stealing all that stood a chance of keeping it afloat, for their own gain.


I very much doubt UKIP can be cleaned up sufficiently to ever make it electable by decent folk – the central cancer of the corrupt leadership has clearly metastasised throughout the branch structure of the regions strangling and choking what was a decent moral and patriotic grass roots.

To watch the seried rows of parasites like maggots crawling all over the corpse seeing what they can make for themselves is a sickening spectacle as the ribs of the lifeboat poke through the rotten planking – just look at the Right Sidebar and study the list of Hot Links and those who have left the party in disgust leaving the likes of Peter Reeve, Douglas Denny, Mick McGough, Malcolm Wood, Gawain Towler, Annabelle Fuller, Ron Ranson, Trevor Colman, Marta Andreasen, John Ison, Mark Croucher, Lisa Duffy, Steve Allison, Stuart Agnew, David Bannerman, Godfrey Bloom squirming and wriggling as they destroy OUR LIFEBOAT for personal gain – Filth to the very core – even their legal support has seemingly floated off smart enough to know there is no more fat to be garnered from the corpse!


The BNP however IS a cancer.
