#707* – Wiki on Wise

Clean EUkip up NOW & make UKIP electable!

The corruption of some of EUkip’s leadership, their anti UKIP claque & the NEC is what gives the remaining 10% a bad name!

Tom Wise MEP
Member of the European Parliament
for East of England
In office
June 2004 – June 2009
Political party Independent
Tom Wise (born 13 May 1948) is a former Member of the European Parliament for the East of England. He was elected in 2004 for the United Kingdom Independence Party but later sat as an Independent[1] amongst the Non-Inscrits until his term came to an end in July 2009.
He is a former police officer and former managing director of a German herbs and spices company. He used to be a member of the Liberal Party.[2]
[edit] Fraud allegations
On February 25 2007, the Sunday Times newspaper revealed that Tom Wise was under investigation for fraud after “embezzling tens of thousands of pounds of taxpayers’ money by pretending to be someone else”. The newspaper claimed that he had claimed £39,100 in expenses to pay the salary of his assistant Lindsay Jenkins, but that this had been paid into a bank account run by Wise himself; Wise paid Jenkins only £13,555 from these funds.[3] The Times newspaper further alleged on February 28, 2007 that Wise used £6,500 of these funds to buy a car – a dark green Peugeot 406.[4] Following the Sunday Times allegations, Tom Wise had the UKIP whip withdrawn (though under the rules of the EU Parliament EUkip had no whip to withdraw and further Tom Wise did not sit as a EUkip MEP any more than did Farage and other EUkip MEPs they sat as members of the nascent Pan EU Political Party The Ind.Dem.Group Tom Wise remained a member of the party until he made the decision to let his membership lapse in March 2009) and began to repay a sum of £25,530.[5] An investigation into these allegations was conducted by the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF). OLAF subsequently passed the investigation to Bedfordshire Police Economic Crime Unit for investigation. On the 20th of April 2009 the Crown Prosecution Service advised Bedfordshire Police to charge both Tom Wise and Lindsay Jenkins with one count each of false accounting contrary to the Theft Act 1968 and one count each of money laundering contrary to the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.[6] They were charged[7] and appeared before Westminster Magistrates Court on the 27th of April 2009. Both entered not-guilty pleas and were released on conditional bail to await trial.[8] On the third day of the subsequent trial in November 2009, Wise changed his plea to guilty of false accounting. This change was prompted by the fact that UKIP’s leader Nigel Farage was to give evidence against him (there is absolutely no evidence this was the reason as there were many more to give evidence and the additional paper work produced by the Police was actually cited by The Court as the reason – Farage had had every opportunity to take action against Tom Wise but had taken no meaningful action and EUkip NEC had voted to protect him by calling a halt to an internal inquiry).[9] Mrs Jenkins had also been on trial but was cleared after Wise’s confession. She had denied both false accounting and an allegation of using criminal property. An outstanding money laundering allegation against Wise was dismissed. Wise is due to be sentenced on 11 November 2009.[10]

Non-Inscrits (abbreviated NI, singular Non-Inscrit; English: Non-Attached Members, abbreviated NA[1]) are Members of the European Parliament (MEP) who do not sit in one of the political groups.

The MEPs may be part of a national party, or a European political party but for a political grouping in parliament to be formed there needs to be 25 MEPs from seven different states. Being part of a group grants access to state funds and committee seats but the group members must be ideologically tied. Groups of convenience, such as the Technical Group of Independents that previously existed, are no longer allowed and the minimum requirements of groups have been raised forcing more extreme elements to sit as NIs.

Tom Wise joined this group when he resigned from the which Nigel Farage chaired.

Tom Wise resigned as a member on the eve of the article on him published by The News of The World

Despite the attempt to spin the facts with weasle words and dishonesty neither EUkip nor Nigel Farage took ANY meaningful action against Tom Wise, at any stage – the most decisive action was to refuse to include him in the list they drew up of cronies in the East of England Region to be their puppet MEPs. The list selection was totally rigged as shown by EUkip’s own returning officer’s report, the full text of which can be found on this blog.

Tom Wise was just one of the rotten apples in the barrel that constitutes EUkip’s leadership team then and now!

What is the exit and survival plan for these United Kingdoms to maximise on the many benefits of leaving The EU. It is the DUTY of our Politicians and Snivil Cervants to ensure the continuity, liberty and right to self determination of our peoples they have a DUTY to protect against crime and secure both our food and our border.

NONE of these DUTIES has a single British politician upheld for 40 years. They have drawn their incomes fraudulently and dishonesty.

Politicians are failing to tell the truth, but so are almost all wanabe Politicians, the MSM and Snivil Cervants.

The fact is that even if EVERY British MEP wanted change in The EU it would achieve NOTHING.
Every single British Politician, of EVERY Party, elected since before we joined the EUropean Common Market, has promised to change The EU’s CAP – In 40 Years they have achieved absolutely NOTHING!

To try to put a value on OUR Freedom is as futile as floccipaucinihilipilification and as odious as the metissage of our societies, as we rummage in the ashes of our ancestors dreams, sacrifices and achievements, the flotsam of our hopes and the jetsam of our lives, consider the Country and Anglosphere which we thus leave our children and the future, with shame!

I SUGGEST – since there is clearly no political party of repute, advocating or campaigning for withdrawal of these United Kingdoms from the EU and restoration of our independent sovereign, democracy, with Justice & the right to self determination in a free country. Deny the self seeking & meaningless wanabe MEPs the Mythical Mandate for which they clamour. Diktat is imposed from The EU but Law should be made at Westminster, for our Country & our Peoples.
