A new book has revealed that Ukip considered forming a pact with the BNP six years ago, with two members of the party’s national executive committee at the time in favour of the idea.In 2008 Nigel Farage acknowledged that the BNP had proposed a deal for the European elections the following year, but insisted it had been unanimously rejected. Farage told reporters then: “I’m simply amazed that the BNP thought we would even consider such a thing.”

Now the new book, Revolt on the Right, by Dr Matthew Goodwin and Dr Robert Ford – called the most definitive account yet of the Ukip movement – reveals that the BNP’s proposal was canvassed among 17 members of the party’s NEC. Two members supported the proposal, it has emerged.

Farage, who said he had been against a pact, told the authors: “There were a lot of people saying to me at that time, ‘You’ve got to do a deal with them.’ I even had Tory MEPs saying to me, ‘Nigel, you’ve got to do a deal with these people.’ We were being beaten by them regularly in local elections. So there was huge pressure on me. The nature of the deal was the BNP would stand in some regions in the European elections in the north, and Ukip would stand in the south, and that would be the electoral pact: we wouldn’t oppose each other.”

Of the members who offered support for the pact, Farage said: “They were the angry old men of old Ukip who thought Ukip was doomed.”

The political predicament of Ukip in 2008 contrasts with its potential today, the authors say. In the book, published this week, they say the party has emerged from the crash with the potential to attract a third of the electorate.

Around 30% of voters are now believed to be both Eurosceptic and opposed to immigration, or Eurosceptic and politically dissatisfied, the defining themes for Ukip. Such sentiments are continuing to grow in strength among the electorate, according to the authors, who draw on the biggest pool of data so far amassed on the political movement.

The book provides evidence that the share of voters holding Eurosceptic views and at least one other radical right belief has increased by five to seven percentage points since 2008. Ukip is widely seen as not having a credible manifesto and has faced serious questions about the calibre of its MEPs, the authors note.

This weekend, the party was dogged by claims that it had misused EU funds in paying staff working in the UK. Yet Goodwin, from Nottingham University, and Ford, of Manchester University, say the “army of potential supporters for Ukip is growing in size” and is being aided by continued anger at Labour’s record and disaffection with the Tory leader.

They argue that Farage and Ukip face huge challenges in the first-past-the-post electoral system, and given the party’s continued unpopularity among women, ethnic minorities, graduates and the young. However, Ukip is now the favoured electoral option among those who strongly disapprove of the EU – 20% of all British voters.

Over the past three years, the party has also performed better than Labour among older, working-class voters and those who are struggling financially. The party is using tactics similar to those once successfully deployed by the Lib Dems, the authors say, in that they seek to deepen their vote in particular areas by getting into local councils and building strongholds.

It is claimed that, of the five constituencies where Ukip stands its best chance of general election success, four are Labour seats (Great Grimsby, Plymouth Moor View, Ashfield and Walsall North) and one is Tory (Waveney). The consistent feature in these areas is a splintering of the traditional vote and the existence of a large, older, blue-collar demographic.

The book suggests that the potential for Ukip’s rise can be clearly seen in societal changes that developed decades ago. The authors write: “Its seeds lay among groups of voters who struggled with the destabilising and threatening changes brought by deindustrialisation, globalisation and, later, European integration and mass immigration.”

The academics claim Farage is fusing three issues to make a coherent message: “Farage’s party now encourages voters to say ‘no’ three times: no to the Eurocrats in Brussels and Strasbourg; no to the politicians in Westminster; and no to immigration. This is not a grand ideological vision – there is no ‘Farageism’ – but it is a coherent and highly effective message.”

They add: “Ukip is not a second home for disgruntled Tories in the shires; it is a first home for disaffected working-class Britons of all political backgrounds who have lost faith in a political system that ceased to represent them long ago.”

On publication of the book Revolt on the Right I read it but found it was tedious and pretentious in the extreme and the reporting of this story in the article above was just as inaccurate as shown! The story put forward regarding the claim that an official approach from the BNP was made and was supported by two members of UKIP’s NEC is utter hogwash.

At the time I wrote numerous factually based and sourced articles regarding this even which I showed to be nothing more than Nigel Farage’s ‘Reichstag Fire’ event giving him an excuse for his own ‘Crystalnacht’.

Never have those who Farage and his clique identified who actually proposed a link with the BNP backed by a single fact.

Was it in fact Nigel Farage?

This photo shows Nigel Farage, Mark Deavin (who sat with UKIP NEC) and Tony LeComber (National Front & subsequently BNP Lecomber was convicted for criminal damage in 1982, offences under the Explosives Act in 1985, and was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment in 1991 for an attack on a Jewish teacher.)

It is widely believed that the photograph was taken after a lunch between the three in which the possibility of Nigel Farage joining the BNP with a view to leading the party as at the time Farage was not a member of UKIP having fallen out with his colleagues!

The NEC meeting referred to in the article, and in the rather sloppy book, was attended by arrangement, as a guest of Martin Hasslam, an attendee at the NEC at the behest of Nigel Farage, agreed to by Nigel Farage, by Buster Mottram, a Farage family friend who I understand was living with a relation of Nigel Farage’s and let us not forget that Nigel Farage, against widespread advice, enrolled and welcomed Buster Mottram as a favoured member of UKIP and as something of a personality and spokesman.

Buster Mottram presented a scenario of association with the BNP claiming he had the approval of the BNP leadership!

I am reliably advised that NO ONE elected to UKIP NEC was in favour of the suggested scenario, interestingly by dint of lies and inuendo, rumours and spin it was claimed by the ‘Farage faction’, a view promoted via certain liars amongst UKIP’s press staff, that two members of the elected NEC supported the suggestion – this was and is a lie.

The claimed, by inuendo, supporters were Dr. David Abbott and Dr. Eric Edmond, both of whom have sought clarification of the implied slur and have promised to sue Farage and any member of his odious clique who claims they have supported the BNP in this context. It is interesting to note that both Abbott & Edmond had actively campaigned for transparency in UKIP’s use and abuse of both tax payers’ money and that of UKIP donors – particularly in respect of the apparent scam of The Ashford Call Center and its ramifications where another elected member of the UKIP NEC Richard Suchozevski had proved that less than 15% of the money raised by ‘Ashford’ ever reached the Party!

Interestingly not only were Drs. Abbott and Edmond forced off of UKIP NEC by Farage’s cult but so also was Richard Suchorzewski, a position that was inevitable once he had, in campaigning for clarity and probity, asked 30 questions regarding UKIP accounts and use of donors’ and tax payers’ money, questions that Andrew Smith, treasurer at the time, was seemingly unable to answer and quit his position thereby avoiding the question leaving UKIP accounts in total disaray – seemingly with possibly £Millions unaccounted for.

I must apologise for not having posted this article when it was first published, but at the time I felt it was so shoddy, inaccurate and unchecked as to be irrelevant, as with the book quoted! I find that a subsequent article elsewhere made it relevant and therefore added the article with this comment on 10-May-2014.

probably one of the greatest acts of folly on the part of UKIP so called leadership has been to link UKIP with racists, xenophobes, anti Jewish and violent anti homosexuals in Continental politics forming the damaging and repugnant Pan EU Political Party EFD Group

Be minded of UKIP’s track record of racism and that includes the obscene extremism of Christian evangelism and some of the Baptist cults and sects from House to the Satanic Mormon cults.

Some may remember the clear and undeniable activities of Tony Bennett with his vile and intolerant campaigning against Muslims – to be fair he was eventually removed from UKIP

Then there was Jeffrey Titford and his connection with extremists with Mike Nattrass prior to their days with UKIP.

Bloom’s praise of the killing of Green peace activists in New Zealand were ill considered & the Court decision against him and Farage were further damaging to UKIP’s credibility!

Next we saw UKIP’s puppet leader the idiotic Malcolm Lord Pearson and his anti Islamic extremism and dishonesty as featured and exposed by The News of The World!

Association with The Swinton Circle by Farage, Tom Wiseand others has done little to enhance UKIP credibility! Nor Farage’s efforts to negotiate with The BNP:

One has to wonder who on UKIP NECthought it was a good idea to have Batten colluding with Sam Solomon and not just consorting with but he has written the foreward to the odious and extreme:

Multiculturalism has failed

Multiculturalism depends on the proposition that all cultures, cultural beliefs, customs and practices are equally valid. Mass immigration into many western countries for the last forty years or more has brought with it some cultures and cultural practices that are alien to western cultures and liberal, democratic political systems. Instead of taking a robust attitude against these alien practices western countries have mostly adopted an attitude of appeasement and cultural relativism. Western Governments have been terrified of criticising or standing up against these practices for fear of being branded ‘racist’ or ‘Islamaphobic’.

Most European and Western countries are multi-ethnic societies and is no reason why people of difference racial and ethnic origins cannot live together peacefully; but to do so requires emphasising those things we have in common rather than those things that separate us. It requires that all citizens living in a given state have broadly the same allegiance, loyalty and belief in a common set of public and political institutions and the acceptance of one legal system. Multiculturalism does precisely the opposite: it creates different and competing groups within one public and political space and is a recipe for division and conflict.

Many European and Western countries have adopted a policy of state-sponsored multiculturalism, designed to preserve and enshrine the beliefs and cultural practices of migrants and to protect and advance them by law and public subsidy. The objective was that the policy of multiculturalism would help absorb and integrate vast waves of migrants from foreign lands. In that it has conspicuously failed – as now has been publicly attested by figures such as Trevor Philips Head of the Race Relations Commission, President Angela Merkel of Germany, President Sarkosy of France, and latterly Prime Minister David Cameron of the UK, to name just four.

However from the point of view of those groups that use multiculturalism to promote their own separate interests it has and is succeeding and they have a vested interest in seeing it continue.

Private Multiculturalism Good: Public Multiculturalism Bad.

A clear distinction must be drawn between private and public multiculturalism. The private practice of religious and cultural beliefs, customs and traditions should be precisely that – private. We can all enjoy the private practice of different cultures and beliefs and share them with our friends and neighbours. That is a good and positive thing that can help bring people together.

The public policy of state-sponsored multiculturalism is quite another thing and it has created an increasingly more fractured, divided, contentious and uneasy societies. It cannot go unsaid that the biggest beneficiaries of this public policy of multiculturalism are Islamic fundamentalist and extremists who use it to extend their own power and influence in order to bring about their long term goal of an Islamic or Islamic dominated state in each one of those countries where they settle. Multiculturalism also undermines those moderate Muslims who wish to embrace Western values but see power and influence being extended to their extremist co-religionists.

Islamic fundamentalism is the cuckoo in the Western multicultural nest. We can either address it now or be destroyed by it in the course of time.

Dismantling Multiculturalism

This short paper is not a detailed history, analysis and critique of multiculturalism and its failure. It is taken as a given that it has failed and has to be dismantled. The points below are suggested policies that could be adopted by political parties and governments of any political colour and in any country in the world that wishes to preserve and promote common western liberal democratic values. The points below are specifically aimed at Britain but can adapted as required.

Policy Suggestions

Recognise that Christianity is the cultural heritage of Britain and affirm the secular nature of government and public institutions. This should be recognised by an exception for the Church of England as the historically established church but bishops should be removed from their positions in the House of Lords and the Monarch should lose the power (exercised through the Prime Minister) to appoint the Archbishop of Canterbury.

A commitment to end the policy of state-sponsored and funded multiculturalism by local and national government.

A commitment to promote a common public culture, expressed in a common language (excluding existing historic regional differences), one legal system and one set of political institutions – none other should be formally recognised by the state.

There must be equal application of the law. There can be no separation of people based on religious practices in public places, e.g. in swimming pools and hospital chapels.

There must be one language used in national and political institutions and publicly funded places (excluding historical differences such a Welsh in Wales or Gaelic in Scotland). In England only English must be displayed in public buildings such as local and national government offices, universities, colleges, schools, hospitals, clinics etc.

Repeal the Act of Parliament that recognises Sharia law in some tribunals, (e.g. for family law, child custody, inheritance etc). Sharia law must be given no official recognition or legal status whatsoever.

Repeal the Act (???) that gives official recognition to Islamic Banking. There must be no financial or banking regulations based on religious law.

Repeal those Acts (???) which give recognition to polygamous marriage for tax or social security and benefits purposes. There must be no official or legal recognition of polygamous marriages.

Stop all government funding to organisations that promote religious fundamentalist or extremist views, e.g. the Muslim Council of Britain, the Quilliam Foundation, the Union of Imams & Mosques in the UK and Ireland etc. Any organisation that requests public funding must be required to sign and actively abide by a Code of Conduct (see Appendix I).

Social Security and benefits payments can only be claimed in English where the recipient has been living in the UK for 12 months or more. For those who have entered the UK and do not speak English subsidised English classes must be made available.

No granting of planning permission to religious organisations that: do not abide by and actively practice a Code of Conduct (see Appendix I); are funded from outside the UK unless they have a special dispensation from the Home Secretary, such dispensations should discretionary and will only granted where it can clearly be shown where the money originates from, and where it can be demonstrated that it is not from extremist sources, or is intended to promote religious fundamentalist or extremist views.

Repeal the Religious Hatred Act (???). The promotion of hatred or violence against individuals or groups is catered for under the normal criminal law. No religious belief system or ideology may be protected from criticism by law.

Ensure that the law on forced marriages and female genital mutilation is rigorously enforced.

Religious schools should only be allowed where they can sign and show actively to abide by a Code of Conduct (see Appendix I).

Repeal the Act of Parliament that gives exception for ritual slaughter for religious reasons. These are outmoded and barbaric practices that have no place in the 21^st century or n the light of humane animal welfare policies.

Something on the funding of universities???

Enact a law of face coverings in public places. (see Appendix II)

One must wonder what twisted mind outside of Nazi Germany would believe this acceptable or even moral – Herman Goerring would be proud of Gerard Batten’s efforts and many will remember Nigel Farage & Mark Croucher‘s collusion to exploit their BNP friends like Buster Motram who was a family friend of Nigel farage’s whom he had personally sponsored within UKIP as with his own Election Agent from The National Front!

Nigel Farage was set to not just orchestrate his own Crystal Nacht to seek to rid himself of his enemies (those who believed in probity and that ALL were answerable to the members and the rule of law) – Their own Reichstag Fire was in place and when triggered by Farage at an NEC meeting the low grad clowns on the NEC like puppets jumped through every hoop placed before them.

The result of this ‘Night of The Long Knives’ was the removal of Dr. Eric Edmond & Dr. David Abbott from the NEC despite their undeniable elected status. The removal of honest men made way for more sycophantic and dishonest puppets – the likes of the fantasist Douglas Denny, the odious and idiotic Mick McGough and others – now UKIP has the misfortune of the Tory reject and the image of sleaze that the risible Niel Hamilton brings as his main contribution to his own very personal ambitions!

Little wonder that Gerard Batten is in trouble with The Courts and facing an Industrial Tribunal with the expectation of some staggeringly bad publicity for UKIP that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the aim to Leave-The-EU. It seems that Gerard Batten may well find himself facing some of the best legal brains in the field of Human Rights and Race Relations, for more details CLICK HERE.

Hi,

Richard Watt has posted an interesting if somewhat contrived blog.

I say contrived because surely UKIP can not be so grossly out of touch with British politics as to have only just realised this!

One appreciates UKIP has very little presence in Britain with its leadership dedicated to The EU dream and crano rectally retentively riding the gravy train for all it is worth – surely they must have been tipped off by someone more astute or at very least more awake to the fact that Nigel Lawson has had at very least grave misguivings about The EU since he left office in 1989 22 years ago.

Nigel Lawson, like Norman Tebbit and even Margaret Thatcher would seem to admit they had Damascene convertions AFTER they had any income or influence in Government.

Now at almost 80 Lawson is able to put his impramature on his belated prognostications on The EU but sadly at 80 that is a little late as with the octogenarian Norman Tebbi – sadly Margaret Thatcher would seem to have had her outspoken moments long after their delivery was consequential as when she offered her advoce and support to Nikki Sinclaire in opposition to The EU.

It is a change to see UKIP leadership involved in a story of some consequence in the run up to their EFD Conference at the end of the week. Though with the Michael Heaver story they have achieved something of an own goal showing how unprofessional and fractured the party is CLICK HERE

Though even that is better than endless article about their leaders testicals and the drunken antics and theft by his staff.

There has been little for UKIP to present having spent almost an entire year navel gazing and squabbling, or should that not be ANOTHER year!

Considering the many £Millions trousered by its leadership and the miniscule donation level they have displayed save in their personal re-election campaigns – it would be interesting to see a dossier of facts materialise around the liar, and general low life, Derek Clark as with the compilation of documents presented by Derek Hunniken recently CLICK HERE to which I have added some verifiable ammendments of fact.

Anyone wishing to compile such a dosier of facts about events or details regarding UKIP and its antics can of course with pleasure lift any articles from this and my other blogs, best accessed via the links on the Right Sidebar – you will note there was little new in The Hunniken dossier but for all that I am grateful that he could find the time to pull the documents together.

At least since my blog has been in the public domain for scrutiny as published and has been legally verified you can be assured of its accuracy as never once has anyone found a witting or willful error or misrepresentation you will be pleased to know and obviously any item is as published and in the public domain for reproduction with the usual courtesies of sourcing you are welcome to use it.

Lord Lawson invited to join UKIP after he challenges David Cameron on EU

Former chancellor at odds with prime minister as he calls for Britain to throw out further European integration altogether

With impeccable timing, the UKIP leader Nigel Farage today wrote to the former chancellor Lord Lawson to invite him to join his party.
Farage fired off a letter after Lawson called on David Cameron to use any future EU treaty negotiations, in the wake of the crisis in the Eurozone, to call for an end to greater European integration.
In an article in the Times, Lawson wrote:

To be precise, the notion that “more Europe” must always be promoted, that there is no acceptable end to the process of integration short of a full-blown United States of Europe, and that the watchword must always be that of “ever closer union” has to be explicitly abandoned.
And this requires not merely a declaration to that effect, but its embodiment in a full-blown constitution that sets out the entrenched and unalterable competences and responsibilities of the member states of the Union – the very reverse of what is contained in the anti-constitutional Lisbon treaty.

This is what Farage says:

Nigel Lawson has come to the conclusion that the very approach of the EU is against Britain’s interests, and is calling for the concept of ‘Ever Closer Union’ to be struck from the Treaty.
He calls for a new Constitution that makes explicit the limits of EU power. He is also wise enough to know that his proposals have not a cat in hells chance of being accepted by the other 26 countries of the European Union.
What Lord Lawson leaves unspoken is what happens when inevitably the EU rejects his idea. If the changes he calls for are not made, then Britain must reserve the right to leave the moribund European Union and strike out as a free-trading good neighbour of the European Union.

As a loyal Tory, Lawson will probably be horrified at the prospect of joining UKIP. But Farage is clever to invite Lawson to join his party because David Cameron and George Osborne will not accept the ideas outlined by the former chancellor in today’s Times.
Lawson will struggle because the prime minister and chancellor have abandoned one of the central tenets of Tory thinking over Europe over the last 20 years. This view held that Britain must fight hard to avoid the creation of what is called a “two speed Europe” – an inner group, led by Germany and France, and a more detached group led by Britain. This approach explains why John Major always left open the possibility of British membership of the euro after negotiating a British opt-out from the single currency in the 1991 Maastricht treaty.
Cameron and Osborne are making clear they would have no qualms if the 17 members of the Eurozone decide to introduce greater fiscal co-operation to underpin the single currency. This is what the chancellor wrote in the FT last month:

The eurozone…needs to demonstrate commitment to greater fiscal integration and governance arrangements that avoid moral hazard and entrench fiscal responsibility.

Some pro-Europeans regard the Cameron and Osborne’s decision to embrace a “two speed Europe” as a reckless gamble that will severely diminish British influence in the EU.
Cameron and Osborne have a ready response. They say:
• Britain, which would not be part of the new eurozone arrangements, has a vital national interest in ensuring the survival of the euro, the currency of Britain’s largest trading partners. Poor implementation of the growth and stability pact, which was meant to prevent the sort of borrowing that has inflicted such harm on Greece and Ireland, is to blame for the current crisis. Stricter rules should, goes the thinking, help prevent a repeat of the mess.
• New rules for the eurozone would present a golden opportunity for Britain. The necessary treaty changes would have to be approved by all 27 members of the EU. The prime minister told the Tory 1922 committee before the summer recess that he would use the treaty negotiations to repatriate powers in three key areas – legal rights, criminal justice and social and employment legislation. But there would be a coalition bust-up on this. Nick Clegg rejected the Cameron proposal when he said that the euro crisis was no time to demand a “pound of flesh”.
In his assault on the euro, Lawson failed to mention his support for the warm up for the single currency – the European exchange rate mechanism. The former chancellor resigned from the cabinet in 1989 after Margaret Thatcher refused to distance herself from her late economic adviser, Sir Alan Walters, after he described the ERM as “half baked”. As I blogged last month, Lawson explained to William Keegan in 2007 why he supported the ERM but not the single currency.

I must say it is sad that still these elderly political war horses are but Plastic EUroSceptics in that they almost to a man talk of reform thus redefining the true logic of EUroScepticism which in the hands of the honest make it very clear that reform is not on offer – now, in the past or ever in the future.

Can it be that they have read the treaties and honestly not understood them?

Surely after so many years climbing greasy poles they can not have become so stained with grease that they loose sight of the very thing that in the first place gave them office and then kept them thus employed.

Yes indeed a structure designed to maintain the status quo.

The only option available if we are to survive as a Nation and a people even some might say a genus is to with care withdraw from membership and with compassion assist those he realise the folly of their involvement to withdraw also.

ANY other action even the inevitable collapse of this arcane and failed experiment could all too easily end in 200,000,000 deaths across EUrope in the wars of disassociation and from the resultant famine caused by the folly of The EU which has so damaged food production with the CAP & CFP together with over regulation that for the first time in modern history EUrope can not feed itself at just the very time the damage done by EU financial policies and red tape have come together to starve us of our markets to earn the money by export to buy the very food we need – hence the invention of Carbon Credits as the new ‘Fetish’ to ward off the man made scam of Anthropogenic Global Warming.

Much as I respect the Lawsons, Tebbitts, Thatchers and some of their colleagues and predecessors it would be refreshing to hear one tell the truth and not emmulate the ‘party line’ of the politicos as Plastic EUrosceptics aiding and abetting our betrayal as Judas Goats.

The staggering dishonesty and stunning stupidity of UKIP NEC members such as Mick McGough, Douglas Denny, Hugh Williams and their cronies would be hard to over estimate – I guess it is little wonder that the likes of Stuart Wheeler bipass them in decision making, as with the recent appointment of the utterly inept and inappropriate little Michael Heavers [for details see: CLICK HERE] who brings so little to the party beyond his ambition and an ability to make even Stuart Parr look stupid!

Little wonder that UKIP’s incestuous little forum has been bubbling and fizzing with the tantrums of the self important nebishes. Even someone as gullible and naiive as Steve Allison would seem to clearly have woken up to the fact of his own irrelevance – he can not claim he wasn’t warned!

The dishonesty and obvious stupidity of Mick McGough beggars belief with his display of political ignorance on the other UKIP Forum run for them by the weak and dishonest little muppet Anthony Butcher was a sight to behold today with the utterly stupid comment:

Is it reasonable to state that any Political Body or Corporation that is so bereft of ability to show its achievements and worth that it despatches its agents and spokesment under cowardly cover of anonymity or irrelevance to lie, distort dissemble, bully and abuse as their only defence has most clearly lost the plot.

That its agents are shown repeatedly not for their achievements which seem insignificant but for their criminality, arrogance, dishonesty and corruption might they be considered to have lost the moral right to lead.

May it be accepted that unable to show any competence, ability or achievement of note and value in their appointed task yet setting out for self enrichment they seek to defend themselves in Court with other people’s money they are clearly without ethic or morality.

That they seek in default of truth to lie and defame and then default upon their bills to seek to harm those weaker than themselves might they be considerred to have lost all right to respect or support from informed and ethical individuals.

If you can say no to any of these questions then may I suggest EUkip is the party for you!

UKIP should follow Scottish Tories and disband

Today’s Sunday Telegraph story on the above quoting the Scottish Tories likely new leader, Murdo Fraser was the best example of political leadership I can remember. Mr Fraser has looked at the Tory performance in Scotland and come to the rational conclusion supported by the evidence that North of the border the Tories are finished and has the courage to act on his beliefs. I quote from the ST below.

Murdo Fraser, who is favourite to become leader of the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party, will announce that he plans to wind up the party if he wins a ballot of members next month.

He would follow disbanding the party by launching a new Right-of-centre party that would contest all Scottish elections — council, Scottish Parliament and Westminster.

Mr Fraser, a member of the Scottish Parliament, believes the Conservatives have become a “toxic brand” in Scotland since losing all 11 of their Commons seats in the 1997 Labour landslide.

UKIP needs to do the same and recognise its total electoral failure in the only elections that can lead to the UK leaving the EU, the Westminster elections! UKIP is currently the problem in making progress on this core issue and is not and never can be even part of the solution.

Its name in the blogosphere of EUKIP is well merited. Its leadership has been bribed by EU money and flattery into Brussels based EU supporters and much, much worse blocking the development of a real leave the EU party in the UK. It is irretrievably dominated by the same old toxic Tories, Pearson, Gill, Farage etc that the Scots Tory leader elect recognises as an insurmountable barrier to winning MPs in Scotland. And look at UKIP’s latest recruit and star conference speaker, Neil Hamilton! A man who led the way in expenses scandals long before duck houses became fashionable.

Tim Congdon, one of the leaders in the No vote campaign against Farage’s pan Europe party is also down to speak at the UKIP conference sharing a platform with Bloom who is alleged already to have signed up to a Pan Europe party and a Czech EU reformist called Mach whom I have never heard of. Tim’s political compass needs looking at. If he wants out of the EU he should keep well away from these EU, mid European apologists.

UKIP can rid itself of these toxic, unreconstructed old Tories only by disbanding and immediately reforming as broad based centrist anti EU party ie a party that could win Westminster seats like the Greens. This is the best and only contribution EUKIP can make to getting us out of the EU. The people are there to do it. Nikki Sinclaire, Mike Natrass, Trevor Colman and John Bufton. UKIP’s NEC is simply a Farage rubber stamp group of mushrooms. Kept in the dark and fed plenty of shit. Batten is politically spineless against Farage and Andreasen is the Monet dream made flesh.

It is down to those 4 MEPs to show some leadership. What have they to lose? Farage will never allow them to go on any UKIP MEP slate again. That is of course the real reason Bannerman jumped ship to the Tories. It had nothing to do with his profound admiration of EU phile boy Dave. As soon as he stood against Farage for the leadership he was toast. He knew that as does anyone who knows Farage. Look at what has happened to the others who have stood against Farage in leadership contests.

Its a pity Tim Congdon lacks a political sense. As one ministers PPS once said to me that its like a sixth sense and if you don’t have it you will never succeed in politics. Del Young has it big time. That is why he had to be marginalised and got rid off. Tim would be better off taking Del’s advice than Batten’s or Steve Allison. Both think they will be allowed onto the UKIP MEP slate in 2014. Knowing Farage, if he is still leader, I would not bet on either Batten or Allison appearing higher than 10, if at all, on any regional MEP slate.

If you consider the only way to clean-up the party is to dissolve it and reform it immediately – how do YOU believe that this would ensure the removal of the corrupt leadership when quite clearly the members have voted clearly against them and even now it is likely Farage will use the conference to re-sell PEPPs with a back me or sack me gamble, without winning that he personally is of course finished.

The membership have voted resolutely against him and the liars he has gathered around him to support PEPPs on two very clear occasions.

The members also voted resolutely against his AV proposition and his Local Elections were catastrophic.

Politically poor old Tim but Dim lacks the required abilities to lead, Stuart Wheeler has shown he is happy to collude in corruption and has the judgement skills sufficient to have gambled and made a fortune which he has proceeded to loos by £Millions ever since.

Just look at how he behaves and the calliber of people he funds and even in UKIP he knows the NEC are untrustworthy and irrelevant so he ignores them.

EUkip has made itself apparent as no more than a Judas Goat, a claque of Plastic EUroSceptics who are unable to show a single solitary actual achievement that has placed these United Kingdoms closer to Leave-The-EU.

To be fair they have trousered a great deal of money, have helped The EU gain a great deal of credibility and have set out to sabotage numerous initiatives being more interested in their wealth creation, self interest and ensuring they do not upset the cart that delivers their apples.

Who would be worth saving when their ship sinks with their top 100 on.

Please – just a few names would be worth considering for I know of none.

EUkip has for some time now been very much a part of the problem with no place in the solution.

Clearly I have been for many years and still am a resolute supporter of UKIP but clearly I will NOT tolerate corruption and deceit of any kind and I consider the befouled EUkip to be irredeemable – I regret.

I note also John Gaunt will be attending though his EU Referendum site has not been updated for an age and like Dan Hannan & Glendenning and the othert Judas Goat’s approved Conservative site they have been shown up by the dedication of Nikki Sinclare’s 100K+ signature petition – despite the many efforts of Farage, Bloom, Pearson and others to sabotage her effort and aid The EU and Tories thereby.

Clearly EUkip is no part of the solution with the likes of The Fraudster and abuser Stuart Agnew, The Liar and fraudster Derek Clark and the concatenation of low lifes and liars on the NEC how could EUkip ever be a part of the solution?

EUkip represents no values I would wish to call British.

Derek Hunnikin’s UKIP papers

Derek Hunnikin joined UKIP in 1995 twelve years before I did. He sent me a series of documents detailing the unsavoury history of UKIP’s hierarchy from 1995 to date. His email address is

I urge all interested in UKIP’s fate to email Derek requesting a copy of his dossier.

I have never met Mike Nattrass and I know nothing of his views. I think UKIP’s best hope lies with Nikki Sinclaire, whom I have met, and who has been very active with her referendum campaign. I know some of her other political views do not play well with some of UKIP’s core support but I urge them to concentrate on the big issue of leaving the EU and not be beguiled by a sterile left wing right wing argument. One of the most effective and articulate opponents of the EU in the UK is Bob Crow, the far left, rail worker’s leader!

One of the most telling comments in the dossier came from Robin Page who makes the point he was voted onto the governing body of the National Trust against the wishes of the NT establishment only after the NT stared using the Electoral Reform Society to conduct is ballots. On the NEC I fought for UKIP to use the ERS for all UKIP elections.I was bad mouthed by Farage, Whittaker, Derek Clarke, Denny etc who clearly had their own agenda in these matters and deliberately mis-represented the service the ERS offered at a very competitive price..

I publish below the reply I have sent to Derek based on my own experience.

Dear Derek,

Thank you very much for sending me copies of the above. It must have taken a great deal of time and effort on your part to do this and I wholeheartedly thank you for this. I read all your documents and learned a great deal from them as I only joined UKIP in 2007!

I had worked for the UK government in the period 71/73 when Heath pushed through the Common Market Accession Act with a succession of dirty tricks. I thought then when I resigned from the Civil Service I had seen it all, that was until I met Nigel Farage!

Looking at the latest list of those standing for the NEC my heart sinks. Farage supporters and wannabe MEPs predominate.

Tim Congdon is a good man and excellent academic economist but lacks the ability to talk to ordinary people. Gerard Batten turns to jelly when opposed by Farage. John Bufton is ill and I doubt Trevor Colman wants to stand again given the villification he has had from SW committee members. William Legge, the belted Earl, is another Bannerman. He simply wants a political career after the Tories had multiply rejected him. Worse, his paid ‘minder’ is Malcolm Wood a long term associate of Farage who shares many of Farage’s characteristics.

I am sorry I have not been more help to you but my energies have been diverted to helping my wife and her French property these last six months. I agree with most of your sentiments and views on UKIP.

UKIP is the only political party I have ever been a member of and through it I met many fine people whom I still count as my friends. It is sad, but not surprising, to realise from your dossier that my UKIP experience merely repeated the experiences of those who had gone before and that if by chance in future any non – Farage supporter is elected onto the NEC list or MEP list I fear they will suffer the same fate!

I was elected both to the NEC and MEP SW slate on the democratic vote of UKIP members. UKIP is not a democratic party but a Farage cult and hence can never have any impact on UK politics

thanks for the well wishes. Despite 3 months of chemo and 20 doses of Radio Therapy it would seem they have failed to make me one fraction as ill as they had expected nor even lose my hair!!

I do not advocate the energy levels such treatment leaves in its wake but without the treatment I would have lost my 13 year battle with cancer in about June or July!

The one lesson to learn for others is that life is much too short for cheap wine and there is no doubt laughter is the best medicine, particularly when self deprecating!!

It would seem you have not seen either of the two most recent polls nor kept abreast of the activities of both a number of The UKIP MEPs and also the furore that has broken out on UKIP NEC recently.

However with a couple of isolated examples I do indeed agree – Which result are you in fact alluding to in Cornwall and Norwich, where of course on such a localised basis they MAY have found a candidate of some caliber, who like yourself seems woefully ill informed.

Do be minded that in 18 years out of some 19,500 political positions in Britain held by election UKIP has less than 30.

Unfortunately due to an indisputable lack of vision, strategy, tactics, leadership, probity, morality, integrity, training, competence or trustworthy behaviour UKIP would seem to claim to be only standing in around 1,250 seats (including paper candidates) in the Local Elections this May and I gather this is not even eligible for free electoral broadcasts where we are told the break point is about 1,500.

It is sad to see what is at the moment our only potential lifeboat being so abused by its leadership in their self serving self enrichment and the parasites they have hired as praise singers in return for the crumbs from the troughs on the gravy train.

Hi,

Dr. Eric Edmond has been an excellent commentator or the economics and monetary antics of The EU and The EUro – as many will be aware it was his forensic approach to ensuring that other peoples’ money was not stolen, purloined or fraudulently used that caused him difficulties with UKIP where he had been elected to The NEC by UKIP members.

It soon became clear that the dishonesty of UKIP leadership, its then corrupt and venal financial management and the corruption that surrounded UKIP, its leadership and its parasites were so scared to have an honest man in their midst they engineered his removal – as they had with David Abbott & Del Young subsequently and Ian Gilman, Petrina Holdsworth, Richard Suchorzewski, Martin Hasslam and Linda Guest previously.

Portugal government may collapse before EU summit

Thus reported Reuters today. The PIGS are falling like dominoes as economic reality bites and produces political unrest on the streets and in domestic parliaments, even that of the chief Eurocrat Barroso. Its gratifying to have one’s predictions come to pass! Only the S for Spain is now left. If that goes so does the Euro and the EU as we know it.

I spent last week driving around West France. I visited La Rochelle scene of the post St Bartholomew’s eve massacre Huguenot Protestants fight against their Catholic neighbours attempt to ethnically cleanse them. Many Huguenots fled to London where they made a huge contribution to the English economy.

I was quite appalled at some of the comments written by the usual Farage sycophants about the late Geoffrey Kingscott and the very much alive Greg Lance Watkins whose cancer has re-emerged. Both strongly supported the anti-EU movement and the nasty things written by the Farage sickos about Watkins, a very ill man tells everything you need to know about the Farage Cabal.

I gather someone asked why I no longer post on Anthony Butcher’s forum. Simple, Mr Butcher was afraid to apply his own rules on personal abuse to the Farage sycophants who now dominate what was once, but is no longer, a decent debating platform.

I have been amused to receive a number of emails from the prententiously entitled, Mr. Robert H. Brown – PPC for UKIP NW Cambs. When I pointed out to him the McTroughian error of his ways he then wrote as Mr. Robert H. Brown – Chairman of UKIP NW Cambs. He clearly has swallowed the Farage myth hook line and sinker. He would do better to listen to those who personally know what Farage is. NF boldly goes only where the TV cameras are!

But as long as UKIP is full of chairman like Mr Brown NF can carry on boozing in Brussels and turn up for his Uncle Tom Eurosceptic spot on QT. The BBC know every NF appearance on QT boosts their Europhile cause by Farage polishing UKIP’s fruit cake and loony image.

UKIP is sinking fast

I have written little in 2011. I see little hope that Farage’s UKIP can progress the Leave-the-EU movement.

Indeed it is quite the opposite with Farage trying to merge UKIP into an EU approved pan European party that would emasculate UKIP as a Leave-the-EU party. Its all very depressing.

I doubt it is what the UKIP membership voted for when they voted Farage in again as leader. They have been well and truly conned.

I have now heard from three different independent sources that UKIP is financially bust.

Anyone on the NEC who asked questions about UKIP finances was removed by the Cabal. UKIP MEPs, especially Farage, have shown a marked reluctance to put their hand in their own pocket. That says it all really.

I hear Julia Reid has left the NEC although as I write she still appears on the UKIP web site as an NEC member. Keeping your website up to date is a pre-requisite for a political party with electoral aspirations.

On the Eurozone front the EU continue to behave like King Canute. It becomes clearer each day that it is now the Fourth Reich run by Frau Dr Merkel. Sooner or later we will see EU governments fall after the sort of street protests that have been seen in Johnny Arab land and let us hope the greatest dictatorship of them all, the EU, will go with them

UKIP is now a complete irrelevance.

3 reasons and more as to why I’ll be posting and commenting a lot less for a while on this UKIP part of the Forum.

The First reason: – is that after my nearly 6700 posts nothing much has changed, so as skeptyk recently pointed out, I feel I need to follow my oft quoted adage:-

“INSANITY IS DOING THE SAME THIG OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND EXPECTING A DIFFERENT RESULT!”

The Second reason:

– is I have in the last few months become increasingly aware that:-

“THE ONLY THING WE LEARN FROM HISTORY IS THAT WE LEARN NOTHING FROM IT!”

Which in the context of the EU means that what will be will be and there is nothing that UKIP or anyone else can do about it. This is especially so since the signing of the Lisbon Treaty and in my opinion (and yes B.A. Ware this thread is all my opinion!) the most likely scenario is that the Euro region will split in two which would then give us the chance of re- negotiating our relationship with the EU. However whether this chance is taken is again another matter.

The Third reason:

– I shall be posting and commenting far less in the UKIP part of this Forum- is that UKIP is now a complete irrelevance having achieved NOTHING of consequence in the last 17 years to aid our withdrawal from the EU. Also given that it is about to be consumed into the Pan European EFD, in all bar name if UKIP is lucky, UKIP will virtually cease to exist.

OK so why has UKIP been so ineffective over the years – well I guess two words sum up the reason and they are:-

NIGEL FARAGE:

Leaving aside his media strengths Nigel has been the most abysmal and diabolical LEADER I have ever been associated with.

He has had no strategy, tactics, vision or plan to speak of, has no idea of how to set an example, is divisive, has no integrity, is morally deficient , totally unprincipled, financially greedy, unscrupulous, vain and dreadfully insecure to name but a few of his more obvious weaknesses!

While he may not as yet have been accused or charged with any criminality he is widely perceived to lack financial or moral probity with a host of unanswered questions he has so far refused to explain. Hopefully one day the old bill will come knocking on his door looking for answers?

He has of course managed to remain in power by:

“Fooling most of the members of UKIP most of the time.”

From my experiences of Chairman of Wales and Cheltenham I know that most UKIP members and members of the public have absolutely no idea what is going on in UKIP, and vote for Nigel, simply because he looks good on the telly!

As to the rest of his supporters in the party I believe they fall into two main categories:-

1. Those who like him, are making money from the EU and don’t really care what he gets up to. This obviously includes his fellow UKIP MEPs and his staff all of whom he controls.

2. Those who are totally naive and believe that despite his MANY failings some greater good is served by not rocking the boat too severely if at all.

To this second category I’d say:-

“ALL THAT IS NECESSARY FOR EVIL TO TRIUMPH IS THAT GOOD MEN DO NOTHING.”

From what I can now see history teaches us that you have to change a political party form WITHIN as Blair did to New Labour, but all those against Nigel have ended up leaving UKIP rather like the ‘Gang of Four’ left the labour Party – and look what happened to them!

If ALL his dissenters had stayed in the party and fought from within something might have been achieved. But they would have needed a strong leader with enough time to formulate a plan to win over the membership as to why Nigel’s strengths were not as leader.

I did try to fight from within for 5 years and know some other people tried to improve UKIP, like the Lechlade and Phoenix Groups. However I don’t think they really had the right leadership or stomach for the fight. As a result Nigel was able to out manoeuvre them especially as he controlled the money and staff placements.

So I now intend to concentrate on my local election campaign, my BBC bias blog The Freedom Association, The UK Defence Association and my work with The Royal British Legion.

As to the ‘INDEPENDENT Leave-the EU Alliance’ it is to be mothballed but NOT folded as to keep it ‘live’ only costs £25 a year. I think the I L-T-EU A has much going for it and it can always be taken off the shelf and dusted down if needs be. Never forget:-

“A JOURNEY OF 1000 MILES STARTS WITH A SINGLE STEP.”

And that step has been taken!

If you get in contact by private message I’ll send you a copy free, as he gave us 500 copies for the election and I still have a few left!!

Now to all those who say I’ve not answered questions put to me on this Forum I beg to disagree as I have always tried to answer directly and as you all know I post under my own name.

However I confess to getting hacked off with some you from time to time, which I regret, for I genuinely believe that debate is not improved by intemperate language.

This leads me to my support for GLW but I would remind you of what I have ALWAYS said which is:-

‘I don’t agree with all he says or ESPECIALLY the way that he says it’

I think his pursuit of Nigel, to see him held to account, is a worthy cause as nobody should be allowed to benefit and get away with as much as he has.

However I believe GLW is now wasting his time trying to reform UKIP as it is completely beyond reform, given Nigel’s hold over the party and his plans to consume UKIP into the EFD.

I don’t fault GLW, with others, for their determination to try and clean up UKIP and make it electable, but I personally doubt this will EVER happen.

Finally I still intend to update the Forum, from time to time, on what is being said by the likes of GLW, Junius and Eric Edmonds under the new heading ‘UKIP-vs-EUKIP’ so I’m not going to completely fade away and will still be posting under my own name when I do – although I was debating adopting the pseudonym “The ORACLE” but modesty will not allow!!

Please permit me a correction of a possible misunderstanding:

I have NEVER been anything other than a supporter of UKIP in declared principle and aims and have ALWAYS defended and supported the party.

It is for this reason and in a fundamental belief in the genuine patriotic nature of the peoples of these United Kingdoms that our historic Continental enemies have done all they can to debase and break apart.

Consider the underhand behaviour of France in repeatedly seeking to attack, conquer and abuse these United Kingdoms – whether by Agincourt, Plessy or Cressy or the efforts made to destroy the Union with their support of the snivelling coward known as ‘Bonnie’ Prince Charley for his availability to the men of The Court of Versailles and let us unfairly claim because he was a complete charley! Few Countries make much of having been led to defeat from the back by a leader who promptly ran away dressed in a frock!

Even The Welsh were genuinely disgusted by their betrayal by their own Minister of State tripping around Clapham Common in his wife’s frock giving oral sex sequentially to male strangers!

Let us not forget the various occasions when Germany has set out to create a Union in EUrope – aided by The Franks of Vichy France.

Firstly PLEASE show an instance anywhere on any of my blogs where I have EVER wittingly told a lie about a person or misrepresented a fact; or for that matter, where I have EVER attacked UKIP – I have frequently, however, criticised the activities of those who have betrayed, befouled or besmirched the principles and values of the Patriotic decent folk who are the grass roots foundations of UKIP.

To be fair Eric skilled as he is as a mathematician and an economist with experience as a Downing Street Civil Service Adviser AND as a senior executive of The Bank of England before his retirement whose wife is an NHS Consultant Head of Department in a major West Country Hospital; proved short of temper in dealing with fools and scoundrels of UKIP’s leadership!

Who on UKIP NEC has ever achieved anything of note that is of value?

Why Farage’s UKIP is not fit for purpose

UKIP needs more members, more talent and more UK effort to even start on the road to getting our country back by repealing the 1972 European Communities Act. Since Farage and his Cabal have taken control of UKIP membership has fallen steadily, activists, the life blood of any political party who disagree with Farage have been kicked out, and sycophantic placemen put into all the important party positions. No serious political party carries on like this. You only see this behaviour in cults where a gullible and uncritical membership are conned by, and blindly supports, a corrupt leadership whose only interest is in lining their own pockets.

Look at those at the top of UKIP enjoying a luxurious cosseted lifestyle set up by the EU but paid for ultimately by UK taxpayers. They are tame, pampered, toothless EU poodles kept in Brussels who give Barroso and the other Eurocrats democratic credibility by enabling them to claim they tolerate anti-EU parties. Its tokenism plain and simple. Ask the brothers or the sisterhood.

The lack of talent in the current UKIP leadership is staggering.

Look at the elderly, self satisfied Derek Clark, UKIP MEP for the East Midlands but seldom seen there. Under him UKIP in the East Midlands has gone from the strongest region in the country in the heyday of RKS to one of closed and zombie branches with a few deeply unhappy remaining members.

Its a microcosm of what is happening to UKIP over the whole UK. Godfrey Bloom UKIP MEP for Yorkshire is an embarrassment with his crass public behaviour.

Bannerman, Dartmouth and Farage are ex-Tories whose political ambitions were judged by the Tory party to be far in excess of their limited talents and deemed not to be worthy of a safe Tory parliamentary seat. Given the low standard of the average Tory MP that is a pretty damning verdict.

Honest and integrity can make up for lack of ability but even in that UKIP is lacking.

When was Andreasen last seen in South East region she was elected to represent?

Why does Trevor Colman sit in Brussels with Farage’s nasty neo-Nazi, mid-European associates.

How many relatives of UKIP members died at the hands of the Nazis in the Second World War?

Do the ordinary UKIP members know their cult leader associates with neo-Nazi parties in Brussels? I think not.

Nicky Sinclaire has shown how effective honesty, integrity and consistency can be in opposing the EU. Not surprising then she was kicked out of UKIP.

Why is Malcolm Pearson, Farage’s puppet leader of UKIP, a man who at the last General Election campaigned for the Tories, still in the UKIP ruling group?

Could this happen in any other party? I don’t think so.

Then we have ex-chairman Nuttall MEP who counts success as defeating the BNP for 4th place in elections. UKIP is supposed to be about getting us out of the EU and the best way to handle the BNP is to ignore them! Comrade Nuttall would do better to address the needs of the jobless of Merseyside and try and recruit them for UKIP.

There is also UKIP’s top management, Crowther and Duffy.
No significant management track record and no organisational ability seems to sum them up.

The current NEC is full of wannabe MEPs or more correctly wannabe on the gravy train who are therefore beholden to Farage for preferment.

There are many able and talented people who want us out of the EU but how many will want to join a cult party which measures its success by the leaders appearances and applause on Question Time.

Its only MPs in Westminster that can get us out of the EU. This needs organisation and hard work in local elections addressing the issues of jobs, schools and health that impinge on peoples lives and earns their trust to vote for UKIP when it matters.

It needs a leader who attracts people in, not one who kicks people out.

Until Farage and his clique go this will not change. UKIP numbers will continue to decline, the sycophants will squabble about getting onto the EU gravy train, the BBC will continue to massage Farage’s vanity with QT invites etc and UKIP will continue to slide into the garbage can of history.

I pray I will someday see our country free from the EU but clearly Farage’s UKIP will play no part in our freedom struggle.
