It seems no one bothered telling the NEC, probably because they leak like a sieve and despite Douglas Denny’s shrieks of protestation he is often the last to be trusted with information. He is so frequently completely wrong he has become a laughing stock
You will note he was screeching like Banquo’s ghost that Junius was telling lies, when in fact it was clear that in the letter of what he stated Junius was correct, and the sad figure of the proven dishonourable liar D.E.D. trying to issue ‘spin’ was risible.

It does seem that Pearson has quit, leaving UKIP with the ability to announce the departure to their own advantage, when ready.

having spent much of his time recently in London where his target seems to have been Muslims, UKIP PPCs and his own feet – it is probable he has limped off to the skulk under the clouds of volcanic ash in Perthshire with his walking stick rather than risk the rifle in his hands! On top of the severe scolding metted out to Nattrass, Batten and Dartmouth for letting ‘e’Mails telling the truth fall into the hands of UKIP supporters and the conviction, amongst the self serving scum that are left floating in the septic tank that is UKIP’s leadership, that Tim has been orchestrating the leaks to Junius team or is in fact on the team and the clear conviction that if Tim is not Gerard Batten then he is a very close and reliable allie.
The skulking and scheming in Strasburgh and before has been a picture to behold – but they do say ‘when thieves fall out’.
It is proving harder than expected to orchestrate a coronation for the replacement puppet leader – a chalice Farage is trying to avoid – having finally remembered what I told him over a dozen years ago ‘I will support you for as long as you function as defacto leader from behind a front but do not become the actual leader as you have absolutely none of the skills essential to the role and will destroy the party, if you ever become leader’! I take no pleasure in seeing UKIP destroyed as I predicted.
Now the problem is even greater – Farage discreditted by his own stupidity and shown as the lightweight he has always been.
David Bannerman so reveilled by many in the party for his odious personal behaviour, serial dishonesty, corruption and cheating has proved far too weak and dishonest to lead the party – as the Tories found, a mere bag carrier! This bag carrier has however been exposed in some detail embroilled in defrauding the tax payers it may be ill advised for him to raise his profile and it would be utterly crass of UKIP to countenance him other than as a bag carrier!
Paul Nuttal mooted as leader by some but so clearly lacking in judgement or the competence to fulfil the role as to be a last resort.
Gerard Batten, despite his Tim personna’s clamouring, is seen amongst the leadership as unreliable and untrustworthy and for all the ‘front’ Farage is clearly not the only one who can’t stand him. His lack lustre results in London and his association with the likes of the odious Michael McGough have done much to harm him not to mention Pauul Wiffen’s recent outbursts!
Nikki Sinclaire – might this be a time to re-emerge? I think it unlikely she would be so stupid having deftly extricated herself from the septic tank why would she wish to dive back in on the eve of the Court case that could be the demise of UKIP. Clearly though she has a bomb proof case she has not taken UKIP to the High Court and I would assume that although well aware UKIP would yet again loose she has seen their dishonesty and disregard for British values and the British Courts – clearly willing to irresponsibly flout the law to escape their liabilities. Nikki is best advised to await their demise making such allegiances during her 4 remaining years as an MEP without being foolish enough to join any party.
It rather looks like a slow train wreck to follow up on the crash of Farage’s stunts where he was so embarrassingly trounced in the General Election he may well have been discharged from Hospital without serious injury but it does look all too much as if he has landed UKIP in need of HDU.
