Sometimes there is more to life than politics, so stop and think for a moment of someone who has done a huge amount to make people happy:
Kyle Minogue has every reason to smile and so do we – she has just passed her 5 years cancer free having endured the horrors, the fear, the trauma and the anger that was cancer five years ago – She has returned to face the world and bring hope to 1,000s.
I had a CT Scan on Friday and a lady there waiting for a scan to track known mets said:
“if Kyle Minogue can have breast cancer and stand near naked in front of the world and make us happy then I’m damn sure I’m not going to let cancer win without a battle”.
Thanks Kyle – your courage gave that brave lady hope.
All I could give her was the reminder that I first presented with major organ cancer in November 1998 and my card if she ever needs to chat in the quiet hours of terror before dawn.
