UKIP: UKIP’s Deva hails posties’ win over BNP (or so claim EUkip)

UKIP East Midlands Euro candidate and former postmaster Deva Kumarasiri has applauded the Royal Mail’s decision allowing staff to choose not to deliver election leaflets for the racist BNP.
Sri Lankan-born Deva, who lost his Nottingham post office job for refusing to serve customers who wouldn’t speak English, said he was shocked at the treatment of posties who had been threatened, chased and spat at as they tried to post the election material.
“Postman should always have the right to refuse to deliver something they find offensive,” he said. “Particularly when the public are showing they too are offended.
“But if the Royal Mail decides to hire casual labour to help deliver the 29 million leaflets it will simply undermine the postal workers’ position.”
I know there is a legal obligation for the Royal Mail to deliver election material but this offensive literature is beyond the pale. I wouldn’t deliver it and I certainly don’t want it posted through my letterbox.
“If my two little girls see this BNP rubbish, how am I to explain to them that these people don’t want them to live in the UK, where both my daughters were born?”

This Press Release was on EUkip’s Official web site and has all the racist undertones that we have sadly seen EUkip all too willing to promote.
No one in EUkip that I know of has spoken out so resolutely, so factually or so consistently in opposition to The BNP, which I have opposed from its naiscence and its foundations before hand.
Whilst organisations like Searchlight and its vile supporters have been all too willing to use their inate racism to attack people without establishing facts or the truth some of us have taken risks such pond life could not imagine in support of peoples and faiths, superstitions and colours that they could not even imagine.
The behaviour of such as Searchlight and its supporters is as vile as that of The BNP in its own way, victimising and abusing people but merely from the other side of a very similar coin.
It would not have been the ‘chip on their shoulder’ failures and supporters of such a duplicitous organisation as Searchlight who would be those who clearly saw the obscene racism of the statement above, from the web site – nor do I believe these were the terms of Deva, who as a Sri Lankan would have been VERY unlikely to make such a fascist style remark.
Sorry but I believe that this is just the sort of racist remark I would expect from Searchlight and its supporters who would, in their glee at being able to posture would have little or no concern for morality, electoral law or a small detail like ‘The Representation of The People Act’.
Further I very much doubt Deva Kumarasiri had access to loading material to the computer direct – but we are all aware of who does seem to have open access and boasts of it, whilst dragging EUkip into the gutter of his life.
So would EUkip support a Muslim postman who refused to deliver leaflets advertising a Christian service? Would EUkip support a lawyer who refused to defend those he or she disagreed with politically? Would EUkip support Posmen whose Pension Investments held shares in a bus/coach company, who refused to deliver Train Timetables? Will EUkip support Postmen who have been duped into believing the Green Fascism of the neo communist Green Party refusing to deliver electric bills unless a set % of the electric they bill is uneconomically produced damaging tidal flows with water power & off land production?
Well this IS what some idiot at EUkip is opening the door to!
A most strange policy, even for EUkip, in yet another ill considered grab for populism.
So EUkip reveals its usually quite well hidden fascist side it is clearly advocating that people be denied the right to see literature from a rival party. EUkip’s policy is now, it seems: “Freedom of speech, as long as we approve”. That not only is a direct breech of The Representation of The Peoples Act but clearly sounds like facism to me!
It was quite some time before EUkip woke up to the realisation of just how vile was their inate behaviour and after trying to defend their behaviour sucuumbed to the demands of some of their more ethical members and others who phoned to complain at such an outrageous press release. They eventually removed the article from their website, however that such a statement apeared on their web site and was promoted by its senior staff speaks volumes of their underlying thought processes.
Paul Wesson, a qualified though not practicing Barrister who after a career as an Officer in The Royal Air Force is now an independent candidate in the local elections. Paul’s recent occupation has been on Contract to The Foreign Office to oversee elections around the world as an independent observer and judge – The kind of staff EUkip has utterly failed to attract!
Paul Wesson spoke for many when he said:
The fact that the article is off the UKIP site is irrelevant; UKIP put the article on the site as a projection of their policy. Only when the ‘phones started ringing did they suddenly realise that the libertarian wing of the party is bigger than they thought despite the purges and defections. This means that UKIP is not a serious political contender, but will change policy on the hoof to win, or avoid losing, votes.
FACT: UKIP policy is to prevent the distribution of lawful political material in a democracy.
FACT: UKIP hasn’t got the bottle to stick with its own policy for a few hours.
I’m very privileged to observe elections in other countries and to be allowed to comment on their democratic processes. In some countries people are gaoled or beaten up for trying to distribute leaflets. Restrictions on the freedom of opposition parties to campaign freely mean that election observers will not give a clean bill of health to an election. If we had international political observers at our elections we would fail to be declared ‘free and fair’ on this issue alone.
We have international obligations to allow free elections under the 1990 Copenhagen document. Restricting the distribution of obnoxious or offensive leaflets is a breach of those obligations.
UKIP has a candidate who is leaning in the direction of preventing free and fair elections. He opposes postmen delivering leaflets he dislikes, he opposes casual labour undermining the postmen. UKIP has a candidate who leans toward a totalitarian state.
What about the owners of the mines and the railways? Were they not offended by Labour’s nationalisation policy? Should Labour have been allowed to distribute its leaflets in 1945?
WRT postal workers – they are paid to deliver the mail, not to decide whether they want to do so? The leaflet is open to view so it is obvious if it offends them. If they are allowed to succeed on this matter what is to stop them demanding the right to open and inspect mail to ensure there is no kiddy porn? Then they will decide not to deliver normal porn. Then they will refuse to deliver religious material. The posties don’t know what is inside plain envelopes, but could open them to be on the safe side. I know of a Socialist government in Europe that opens all international mail to check that dissident material isn’t getting into the country; there are people who would do that here if allowed.
The freedom of the BNP to campaign is critical for our democracy. Democracy is about having the opportunity to hear the alternate view, if only to dismiss it out of hand.

Who did put this obscene comment on the web site and even more important which piece of low life could have thought such a statement was in any way acceptable! Has EUkip the integrity to take disciplinary action against them and show the electorate that they distance themselves from such vile concepts – many will remember that it was not long ago that EUkip were complaining their leaflets were not being distributed because they were seen as ‘The BNP in blazers’, by some Postmen!

TO LEAVE THE EU
What is the exit and survival plan for these United Kingdoms to maximise on the many benefits of leaving The EU. It is the DUTY of our Politicians and Snivil Cervants to ensure the continuity, liberty and right to self determination of our peoples they have a DUTY to protect against crime and secure both our food and our border.
NONE of these DUTIES has a single British politician upheld for 40 years. They have drawn their incomes fraudulently and dishonesty.
Politicians are failing to tell the truth, but so are almost all wanabe Politicians, the MSM and Snivil Cervants.
The fact is that even if EVERY British MEP wanted change in The EU it would achieve NOTHING.
Every single British Politician, of EVERY Party, elected since before we joined the EUropean Common Market, has promised to change The EU’s CAP – In 40 Years they have achieved absolutely NOTHING!
To try to put a value on OUR Freedom is as futile as floccipaucinihilipilification and as odious as the metissage of our societies, as we rummage in the ashes of our ancestors dreams, sacrifices and achievements, the flotsam of our hopes and the jetsam of our lives, consider the Country and Anglosphere which we leave our children and the future, with shame!
