Hi,
clearly UKIP’s achievements lived down to the predictions made by this blog and for every one of the reasons this blog and Junius predicted.
The outcome of the utter incompetence and leadership failure was completely predictable how ever they may wriggle.
The results show we were right and we warned them and not only were they wrong but their odious behaviour and open lies and abuse – particularly Kevin Mahoney has done much to harm UKIP Wales.
More later.

THE UK Independence Party believes a “strategic error” cost it a South Wales East regional seat.
It was so confident of winning one of the three list seats, that leader Nigel Farage was at the count in Newport on Thursday night.
However, he left disappointed, with a spokesman for the party saying on Friday that members have been left “scratching our heads” as to why candidate David J Rowlands didn’t get in.
He said: “The opinion polls and final results are quite different. They had been consistent over a period of months, giving us hope. So, it wasn’t an unreasonable belief.”
With the party having a Welsh MEP in John Bufton, the spokesman said they saw South Wales East as their best hope of winning a seat, adding: “Wales is the place we’re fighting, moving forward”.
But, he said the party made a “strategic error” in putting a candidate forward for the regional seat, but not for local seats.
“We don’t think the opinion polls were wrong, so we’ve been left scratchng our heads a bit,” he said. “But, it gives us plenty to think about. I think people who vote for one party in the local ballot aren’t likely to go for a different one on the regional ballot.
“So, it was perhaps our approach that was wrong and a strategic error we didn’t put candidates forward for places like Caerphilly and Newport. But, we know the potential is there as plenty of people voted for us.”

It has become increasingly clear that John Bufton besides the collapse in his health has had a crisis in faith with regard to UKIP’s new stance as supporters of racism, xenophobia, anti Judaism and violent anti homosexuality and it has reach such a stage that John Bufton as a withdrawalist was unwilling to join his party leader and the rag tag that forms his own Welsh committee for the launch of the UKIP campaign.
Meanwhile in
Wales the exact opposite course is taken to not present a single solitary candidate but just a few pool candidates for indirect election on top up votes – the two policies are clearly mutually exclusive!National Assembly elections
This is the first poll since 2007, after which Labour formed a coalition with Plaid Cymru.
As in Scotland, voters will be required to fill in two separate ballot papers.
Forty Assembly Members (AMs) will be elected from single constituencies under first-past-the-post. The second ballot will be used to elect four AMs from each of five electoral regions under a party list.
There have been no major boundary changes since 2007.
The new Assembly will have direct law-making powers in 20 devolved areas, such as health and education, after voters backed the move in a referendum in March.
Local council elections are due to take place next year.

The next Chairman John PRATT quit the party to protect his reputation!
.
Hi,
you may consider some thought about UKIP Wales’ plight:
Could 2011 be the year when Wales’ four biggest political parties are forced to make room in the assembly for a smaller rival? BBC Wales political reporter Daniel Davies looks at the smaller parties contesting the election on 5 May.
All but one of the 60 members in the last assembly came from Labour, the Conservatives, the Welsh Liberal Democrats and Plaid Cymru.
The other, independent Trish Law, is not standing again this year.
Will the stranglehold of the big four be broken on 5 May?
Many of the smaller parties are concentrating their efforts on the 20 regional seats. Among them are the Wales Green Party which is trying to persuade Labour supporters to use their second vote to go Green. Their leader Jake Griffiths tops the party’s regional list in south Wales central where he hopes to become the party’s first AM.
The party is offering a Green New Deal it says would create 50,000 jobs in a low-carbon economy. It is also offering a free insulation programme, aiming to insulate 40,000 homes a year.
Since the 2009 European election, the UK Independence Party (Ukip) has had a foothold in Welsh politics, through MEP John Bufton. It would get MPs to do the work of AMs, but Nathan Gill, who is standing in the north Wales region, hopes to be Ukip’s first AM.
Although Ukip says Wales is over-governed, it does not want to abolish the assembly. Instead, it argues it should be “renewed” in what it says would be a far less costly form.

Hi,
I was driving around Cardiff Bay which is the main offices of The EU’s Regional seat of government that UKIP believes it MAY play a part in. It is incredible just how seedy and decrepid the entire area is with its pretentious buildings and shoddy finishing, its litter and its look of desertion with so many shops and businesses closed due to mismanagement.
The journey into Velindre in Rush hour last week was actually quieter with so much unemployment than during the day last Wednesday for my chemo!
Minded of just how recent was the imposition of devolved irresponsibility – for there is absolutely no doubt that the vote to create the scam was both dishonest AND rigged and the recent referendum was so poorly attended that its outcome had ZERO moral validity.
You may remember that in order to raise the profile of debate and also to show just how stupid Welsh Politicians are to a man I registered: CLICK HERE
I fear UKIP are misguided on the issue of Welsh Politics but they have no serous vision for Wales least of all when you consider Nigel Farage’s imposition of a chum as lead candidate in a General Election:
A measure of the contempt in which Farage holds UKIP Wales was not only that he foist his drinking buddy Dai Llewellyn on the party shortly prior to his death from drink related disease but that he kept the odious Jim Carver in position stifling any progress until he was finally removed by Richard Suchorzewski after a long period of stagnation with Carver as Regional Organiser selling his umbrellas rather than building UKIP Wales.
Now without ANY meaningful consultation Farage has imposed a divisive pro Assembly policy as a reformer and not as a withdrawalist from The EU – leading to the fracturing of UKIP Wales with John Bufton MEP Wales effectively gazumped by Farage and left out of the Party attempt at a policy launch!
That UKIP believes it is likely to have ANY impact in the upcoming election in Wales when it is so disjointed and its web site failed even to address either the fact that its MEP had had a stroke before Christmas and clearly whilst John Bufton was trying to recover to rejoin the gravy train clearly NO ONE in Wales did a stroke of work and the imbecilic and ill mannered Regional Organiser Kevin Mahoney just alienated what supporters there were and drifted as a freeloader doing NOTHING of value.
There was not even a statement of the Party policy on the recent Referendum in Wales and no visible presence!
Now there is the myth being put about that UKIP will get an Assembly Member, when it wishes effectively (well Farage does) to dismantle the assembly and reform it. The claim is that with 5% of the vote across Wales that will earn an Assembly Member – well sadly not or they MIGHT have had SOME chance but with the 6.8% target as I believe it is the chances become slim so young Nathan Gill is unlikely to get his place on the gravy train as unliklely as his Mum who I THINK is also standing in North Wales!
IF John Bufton MEP has ANY integrity and in the light of Farage’s shameful behaviour I can see him leaving the squalid EFD Group as soon as the elections are over to try to make himself sufficiently credible that he may have a role in future elections in Wales as UKIP withers.

#0394* – UKIP WALES LAUNCH LIKENED TO DELBOY!
Image via Wikipedia
.
Hi,
Oh Dear – he’s met Nigel Farage and Kevin Mahoney!!!
I was sorry to hear on the one hand that John Bufton MEP was unwell and unable to attend the launch so close on the heals of the news that he had recently managed to get his snout back in the trough on the gravy train by going to Brussels – let us hope he was just doing what he seems to do best in Wales – Keeping a low profile and is in fact regaining his health adequately to have some common sense and disassociate himself from the corruption, racism and dishonesty of being in Farage’s squalid ‘Delboyesque’ claque of nere do wells liars and cheats masquerading as a leadership team!
THE UK Independence Party, while opposed, chose not to get directly involved in the No campaign in last month’s referendum on the National Assembly’s powers.
At the launch of its election campaign, you could see why True Wales, the No camp, might have breathed a sigh of relief.
Not just because of some of its ideas, but because, demographically, Ukip make True Wales look like a bunch of hip young gunslingers.
At Cardiff Bay Yacht Club, the overwhelmingly male, exclusively white audience was predominantly elderly, and clad in blazers complete with the pound logo – the currency Ukip remains convinced every mainstream party wants to abolish.
Leader Nigel Farage, right, stands out – an accomplished speaker and raconteur with a good way with people. But the manifesto – oh, the manifesto! Weeks after the Assembly’s primary lawmaking powers were overwhelmingly endorsed, Ukip wants to “renew” it, by keeping the building but sacking all AMs. Their role would be taken by Welsh MPs coming to Cardiff Bay one week in every four to vote on devolved issues.
Other vows Ukip makes in this devolved election – contained in its manifesto We, The People – are to repeal the Human Rights Act, end mass immigration and send young offenders to boot camps. All promises it couldn’t keep if, by some quirk, it took all 60 seats on May 5.
Oh, and it’s vowing to replace income tax and VAT if it wins. No income tax, no VAT? That’s the theme tune from Only Fools And Horses.
And you might be forgiven for thinking there’s something a bit Delboy about this campaign.
Sadly UKIP Wales has so collapsed that when the vote in The Welsh Referendum on MORE POWERS was held UKIP Wales’ web site was several months out of date.
They seemed to have absolutely no campaign, their intent and message was all but a secret save one or two instances where a spokesman of no note was fielded in debate.
The entire UKIP Wales is as Wales on Siunday described it above ‘Thinking out of step’ their only political answer is to have that ghastly ill mannered and ill informed twerp insult and abuse supporters and drag UKIP Wales into his gutter on public forums too ashamed of his own behaviour to use his own name he hides in the most cowardly fashion calling himself ‘stathens’.

There are so many holes in this particular lifeboat!!
.
Hi,
an interesting photograph released to give a vision for UKIP Wales’ efforts to support Racism, Xenophobia, anti Judaism, anti Homosexuality, violence and corruption in The EU by giving support to Farage’s self enrichment scam The EFD & Pan EU Political Group payments to the leader!
Here is UKIP’s own publicity photo:
A strange grouping which speaks volumes or nothing atall – you must decide!
This is put forward as Team Wales but its absences speak far louder than the insignificant inclusions – none of which stand a prayer of being elected other than on the crazy top up electoral scam.
No constituency in Britain has EVER come anywhere near voting that they wish to be represented by a UKIP candidate – Sadly knowing this bunch and their reputation in Wales the cause is unlikely to be served!
One wonders why the Founder of UKIP Wales and co founder of UKIP Hugh Moelwyn Hughes does not endorse the launch by featuring in the photo?
Then there is the notable absence of John Bufton MEP
Is it that Doctors’ Orders forbid him such excitement in view of his recent stroke that has kept him off work for several months, or is it that he may well have developed the integrity and ethics to distance himself from the racism, anti Judaism, anti homosexuality and violent xenophobia that is UKIP stock in trade in The EU with its support of The EFD?
Might it be that he was not trusted sufficiently to be allowed to attend the launch?
It was amusing to note that after many moribund months UKIP Wales suddenly snapped into action and scurried around to be noticed when it was made clear that their web site was months out of date – they had made absolutely no visible comment on The Welsh Referendum and had failed to noticably comment or campaign. This blog also pointed out that UKIP Wales hadn’t even had the common courtesy to advide its supporters that John Bufton had had a serious stroke and furthermore despite the some £200,000 a year in staffing allowances with the cat away the mice did NOTHING it seems – so much for buying loyalty.
The ONLY visible activity from UKIP Wales for months were the vituperative and unpleasant comments attacking and insulting UKIP supporters and members on public Forums by the odious little squit Kevin Mahoney:
– seemingly employed to bring UKIP Wales into disrepute – not disimilar to their earlier Regional Organiser Jim Carver who was beyond doubt conning UKIP, dishonest and untrustworthy.
It is hardly surprising that the honourable and well known man of stature John Pratt resigned as Chairman of UKIP Wales for the sake of his reputation.
John Pratt a farmer in Wales, President of The Welsh Black Cattle Society and world authority on cattle, acts as a judge and consultant internationally at cattle shows & fairs.
He was elected chairman of United Kingdom Independence Party in Wales in October 2006, but resigned from the chairmanship in 2008 and from the party in March 2009, citing in his resignation letter “his desire to protect his reputation by distancing himself from the party”.
Even the angry and inadequate web master, who had so little integrity or control of his prejudices Roger Thomas seems to have moved on:
& Both Marcus Stead of The Welsh Council for UKIP
& Richard Suchorzewski made their reasons for leaving UKIP very clear
Then again I note the current UKIP Wales party chairman:
Warwick Nicholson also seems not to feature as part of the team!
Clearly someone has finally got their act together and updated UKIP Wales’ web site since this blog and Junius highlighted the embarrassing incompetence and inactivity of UKIP Wales – I presume it will lapse back to inactivity after the election until next time someone sees a route to the gravy train!
It is the abject failure of UKIP to act professionally or identify good leadership let alone have competent and reputable PR or even the vaguest signs of professional or even competent training – then there are those who desperately bleat when people like Junius and I put in the effort as supporters of UKIP to try to clean up and professionalise the party as our lifeboat where currently it is clearly sinking under the ordure and detritus that freeload and exploit that lifeboat!

#0302* – EFD MEP John BUFTON Was UKIP‘s WELSH MEPImage via Wikipedia

.
I am aware that in hospital they frequently come around and ask ‘have you passed wind?‘
This is entirely untrue – they ask for fear they may have connected you up back to front and created another manager, a politician or a new orifice for comment.
I see Kevin Mahonney is acting as John Bufton’s spokesman on Anthony Butchers squalid and dishonest Forum:
Trusted Member
You didn’t see John Bufton signing in and going home at all…. you saw John Bufton signing in on a Friday for only the second occasion since he has been elected due to having to attend meetings that day (normally a non business day in Brussels or Strasbourg) he then proceeded to work a full day as planned before leaving for home!
Why has it taken so long for John to come up with an excuse and then use his new mouthpiece!!!
As ‘Amenhotep IV’ so rightly said Just what do the EFD MEPs do? Why is John Bufton all but invisible except for fiddling his expenses on TV?
