Hi,
Well chemo seems to be being very kind to me so far – I seem to have Zero sideffects although I do expect them to kick in like a ton of bricks at some stage but apparently the first dose usually has you knocked back within 12-24 hours and I have a big bag of pills to prove they were fairly convinced it would.
Little things to be hopeful loom large when confronted by an approaching express train when tied to the rails a la Mary Pickford and her step daughter Lilian Gish!
Well that is my excuse for falling behind – how’s yours? ‘cos I’ll probably swop 😉
OK SO WHAT DID I MISS?
Firstly the two Birthdays may I wish Niall Warry many a happy return of his birthday.
May I reasure you all that Adolf Hitler who was born on the same day of the year is most certainly NOT working in a chip shop in the Midlands with his son in memory of TheMitford sisters! Nor for that matter is he in Paraguay with Eva Braun having been born in 1889 he would now be 122 and indeed he DID die in 1945 10 days after his 56th. birthday.
I incline to believe Niall’s birthday is worthy of celebration but Hitler should be applauded on 30th. April for one of his very few intelligent actions!
Also on the 20th April a very great speech was made that was it seems as apposite then as now:

Indeed it CHARGES the British tax payers around £50 Million Pounds a day and as even the arch EUroPhile traitor Graham Watson MEP the oleaginous leader of the Lib.Dims. in the EU admits the EU is a net drain of £9 Billion a year in membership fees alone – this clearly does not include the £Billions lost due to the idiotic Red Tape and over regulation and the damaging constraints on British business to advantage our continental competitors.
