European Union (Referendum) Bill comes up for review.

It was, I seem to recall, a Tuesday evening and I was sat at my
desk in the EP. Nikki Sinclaire was in the adjoining office.
Some time earlier we had been talking about the government’s
offer to debate matters in parliament if 100,000 citizens would
present a request by petition. There was no mechanism in
place at that time, nor did there appear to be any real hurry to
put one in place. Nikki had identified this as an opportunity to
call for a referendum on our country’s continued membership of
the EU.Nikki suggested some words, I put them down and sent them
through to her, she e-mailed me back some changes, I finished
it off. It didn’t look bad at all….“We the undersigned call for a binding national referendum to
decide whether Her Majesty’s Government should invoke
Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty to negociate the United
Kingdom’s withdrawal from the European Union….”The campaign was launched at a meeting in Torquay on
September 3rd 2010, and so we set out to find 100,000 signatures.There was uncertainty as to whether 10 Downing Street would
accept the petition. They accepted it, in fact they took in over
200,000 signatures.There was uncertainty as to whether the Commons Backbench
Business Committee would debate the matter. They debated it,
and we saw the biggest backbench revolt the government had
experienced up to that point.The idea of a referendum was voted down, but the matter
would not go away. Nikki’s polling proved that the people
wanted to have their say.This coming Friday, Nov 8th, we will see the Commons review
the European Union (Referendum) Bill.—————————————————————What impressed me was the level of cross-party support for the

petition. Only UKIP failed to support us. Indeed, a UKIP member
who had asked if he should support the petition kindly
forwarded to me a letter he had received from the UKIP leader’s
office. Here is a short extract: “Petitions, I may say, are useful
for publicising issues and recruiting activists; but, where such a
fundamental policy as rejecting the EU is concerned, there is no
prospect whatever of a pro-EU government’s acceding to a
petition.”However, once it became clear that we were winning the battle,
the referendum suddenly became UKIP’s ‘greatest achievement’.As recently as last month, a journalist in Strasbourg reported to
me that two UKIP MEPs had told him that they were opposed to a
referendum on this matter.————————————————————–Of course, this is not an isolated case. During the 2010 General

Election campaign, HS2 was the main issue on the doorstep.
This is a project that will have serious implications for West
Midlanders and indeed many people in the UK.UKIP’s manifesto for that election included the party’s desire to:
‘introduce three high-speed lines linking London to the Midlands,
northern England and Birmingham.’ That reads to me like an
approval of HS2!Now that opposition to HS2 has become a major dynamic,
guess what? UKIP is now ‘the only party that has consistently
opposed HS2?.There have been attempts to airbrush the 2010 manifesto out of

Hi,
the article below, which highlights the unmitigated hypocrisy of UKIP is unashamedly a direct copy of an article on a Brussels based blog by a well informed EU employee.
As a follower of UKIP (why else would you read this blog!) you will of course be aware that Nigel Farage has been on the EU Fisheries Committee for many years, though I understand his involvement is tokenry and patchy to say the least!

An End to Discards!

 

Some years ago, an MEP and myself  produced a booklet titled ‘Dead in the Water’. This was a critique of the Common Fisheries Policy, and we were both rather proud of it. It was very well received, although we had a wee bit of a problem because of it at a UKIP conference in Exeter.

We had booked a stand where we coud talk about, and distribute, the booklet. Then something interesting happened.

The organiser, who we had already paid for the stand, called and told me that a certain senior MEP had called him several times “begging” him to keep us away from the conference. Doesn’t like to be upstaged, see.

We attended anyway, and it was a success for us.

Yesterday the European Parliament voted overwhelmingly for CFP reform that should see the end, at last, to the practice of discarding dead fish in the sea. This is an issue that unites eurosceptics and europhiles alike. It is a disgraceful practice.

But I note that UKIP failed to vote in favour of this much needed reform.

I have read much criticism by UKIP members of the discards policy. So why did they not vote in favour?

Because if discards are banned, then they will have nothing to complain about, and complaining about anything and everything is their stock in trade. There is a lot more to CFP reform than eliminating discards, of course. These reforms will benefit the fishermen and the communities they support. They will benefit the consumer, and relieve the pressure on fish stocks and the environment. It was interesting to note attempts to block the reform by the Spanish, who are responsible for much of the problem. They will have been pleased to see UKIP helping them out by failing to back the reform.

If UKIP is not going to stand up for the interests of British fishermen, what is the point of them? Perhaps it is they who should be discarded!

You will find the poll commissioned by ‘We Demand A Referendum’ campaign of both interest and of use in achieving our aims.

YouGov Poll: Majority of Public Do Not Trust Cameron on EU.

A YouGov Poll released today by the newly formed We Demand A Referendum Party shows the majority of electorate DO NOT have trust in David Cameron to stand up for British interests in the European Union.

The poll reveals that 54% do not have trust compared to 38% that do.
The same YouGov poll also reveals that the gap between those who wish to see an EU Referendum (62%) widening over those who do not (24%). In a YouGov Poll last month the figures for the same question were 56% to 28% respectively.
Worryingly for David Cameron the poll shows that almost three out of four Conservative voters want a Referendum.
The single issue We Demand A Referendum Party held their inaugural conference in London on Friday issued an ultimatum to the Prime Minister that if he failed to facilitate a In/Out Referendum by 1st January 2014 they would stand in every region in the next European Elections under the banner ‘We Demand A Referendum’ A YouGov Poll last month showed between 16% and 33% of the electorate would vote for them in June 2014 earning them between 8 and 22 seats.
Party Chairman, Nikki Sinclaire MEP said “These results show there is increasing support from across the political spectrum for an EU Referendum – When will the politicians listen to the people?”
The West Midlands MEP added “The economic crisis has changed the ball game in Europe. Fundamental changes are underway, now is the time to decide once and for all which fork in the road to take.”

Campaign for a Referendum: Conference a Great Success!

Its always nice to spend a couple of days in London, even if it is a working visit.

On Thursday evening I was delighted to meet Katie Hopkins for the first time: she is absolutely the right person for the campaign, as her media appearences to date have proved. We were joined at dinner at the Victory Services Club by Nikki and a number of senior members of the team, and also Roger Knapman and his wife Carolyn, as well as former Lib-Dem councillor David McGrath and his wife, both of whom I know from the campaign to clear an illegal travellers camp in Meriden. The cross-party demographics of this campaign team give us both integrity and depth.

But the real reason for the trip was our inaugural conference in Westminster. The day began with Katie appearing on ITN’s Daybreak, and by the end of the first round of speakers we were on the front page of the BBC news website. Christian Party Leader George Hargreaves, and the US broadcaster and political analyst Charlie Wolf both gave excellent speeches, adding depth to the debate on our membership of the EU and what it means for our democratic integrity.

It was a chance to catch up with old friends from various parties, including one Conservative MEP, and to meet new people.

No surprise that UKIP had at least two spotters outside, reporting back on who was attending – I suspect that a few people will be getting some unpleasant phone calls or letters from their branch chairman shortly!

Two motions were passed by conference: the first calling on HMG to establish a Royal Commission to set the terms of reference for the referendum, the second calling on the PM to call a binding referendum before Jan 1st 2014.

I gather from several people who were there that the inagural conference surpassed most expectations in terms of its cross party contribution, its disinterest in UKIP, seen by many as having failed and now discreditted sliding towards the history books as such, and also my contacts were pleasantly surprised at the calliber of the speeches and presentations which at many such events are all too frequently too slick, too smug and too banal delivering nothing.I am fairly reliably informed the attendance was just over 70, which although shy of the 100 I had hope for was a successful result for such short term and also in the light of the childish attacks that have so demeaned UKIP!

I note that the Tory defector and UKIP turncoat David Bannerman was present, presumably having quit the Tories due to his failure and having been put in place in Farage’s party as an MEP in the apparent realisation that he was singularly unlikely to be re-elected having seen through the corruption of UKIP he defected back to the Tories and now having realised the Tories select their prospective MEP lists rather more fairly and with considerably more integrity than UKIP he stood little chance of being above 4th. or 5th. on the list and thus not a hope of being re-elected.

It seems probable that David Bannerman was looking for a new place to hang his hat and some prospect of getting back on the gravy train with his snout in the troughs that are The EU.

It was interesting to see Tony Schofield there but as yet he still seems not to have been fully weened of his love affair with UKIP which though it has turned sour leaves him in hope over experience.

I do endorse the decision and commend to you the fact that liars and low lifes Mick McGough and John Moran were made unwelcome and asked not to enter the meeting – they have shown in much detail their lack of ethics and dishonesty and clearly had nothing to offer the new organisation and would have proved a distraction and an embarrassment as they do in UKIP.

I gather McGough is not in favour at the moment having opposed the decision of Nigel Farage and Lisa Duffy to place the idiotic and discreditted self seeker Winston McKenzie in the key role – a more obvious political prostitute and self seeker would be hard to find anywhere but in the ranks of UKIP leadership’s claque.

Imagine if UKIP ever gained any position of authority how odious it would be – the centralised denial of any sense of democratic ethics, the McCarthy style infiltration of other people’s organisations, the keeping and making of lists of attendees, the odious bigots given status in UKIP, the prostitutes, the drunken yobbery, the corruption, the controlling nature, the centralised dictatorship and so many more anti democratic actions and controlling beliefs – They call it Libertarian!!!

Let us hope that the We Demand A Referendum moves forward from this limited success to greater things, which as the polls show are both populist and popular.

I was highly amused to see a certain party leader looking like a scared rabbit caught in car headlights, desperately explaining to a Tory chum his thoughts on a referendum in Brussels a couple of weeks ago.

I wonder what has suddenly made him so concerned about a referendum now?

Better Late Than Never!
Demanding of David Cameron a promise of a referendum “written in blood” is all jolly stirring stuff, but when the person in question didn’t actually sign the petition calling for a referendum until after it had actually been presented to 10 Downing Street, those words sound somewhat hollow. But words are cheap, and easy to come by.
Unlike collecting 220,000 signatures, forcing a debate in the Commons, and provoking a back-bench revolt, all of which required great effort and some financial cost, words actually count for little unless they are backed up with deeds. UKIP’s words rarely seem to be backed up with deeds. The party has descended into a world of yaa-boo politics: name calling and jeering from the sidelines. The party is simply not interesting anymore.

It amused me, although it did not surprise me, when after the first 100,000 signatures were handed in and we learned there was to be a debate on a referendum on our continued membership of the EU, no less than 3 other groups tried to take the credit for it. I remember well UKIP’s feeble and half-hearted attempt at raising a petition. It appers to have acheived nothing – apart that is from an expenditure of a substantial 6 figure sum. I have often wondered where that money went…

As we approach our inaugural conference on Friday 5th, at Westminster Central Hall, I expect the usual libels and slanders that I have come to expect from the UKIP press office to start oozing to the surface. If you can’t do anything, attack those who can, seems to be the strategy. Probably the only strategy UKIP has, I am afraid.

When I think of the UKIP press office, for some reason the words of Lewis Carroll: “T’was brillig, and the slithy toves did gyre and gimble in the wabe…” come into my mind.

Hi,

do you not feel Gary is being a little harsh on Farage’s party, when after all it has only cost the tax payers around £50,000,000 over the years for UKIP to achieve the sum total of:

– come to think of it, beyond defame and malign a lot of people, wind up with MEPs in prison, lie to the Courts and to the police what have they achieved of value?

Then of course there was the way in which they seem to have slept their way into the choice of all too many of their staff, lied on a consistent basis, both to Regional Committees, electorate and members about their various thefts and sordid corruption.

Might it be: What seems to have been over egging the rigging of a vote, to do away with member’s democratic input and turn the party into a one man band dictatorship, (as made abundantly clear in Marta Andreassen’s full interview given to Michael Crick – which one must assume will be presented in suitable form for an election!) with appointed pond life and low lifes doing as Farage orders as he holds the purse strings, all staff appointments, positions in selection lists, and of course it seems he hold the rigging rights for votes and funding for bribes!

Might their achievement be to have pulled together a leadership clique that hold onto office only by bribery, bullying, dishonesty and intimidation?

Could it be the facility of stealing money to use as bribes just as Tom Wise did though he was rightly sent to prison for his criminality!

One wonders why Derek Clark was not also as he was ordered to repay almost exactly the same sum which he had misappropriated and Nigel Farage, Graham Booth, and Jeffrey Titford were also ordered to repay money to the public purse.

I note you also do not know what happened to the money taken from the public purse by Farage, Lott, Croucher etc. for a petition which was never presented and were you not a staffer at the time! Seems UKIP leadership are consistent on one count – corruption.

Farage has time and again gone on public media and outright lied just as Malcolm Pearson lied when leader to deselect Nikki Sinclaire becauser as an MEP she was showing up the other UKIP MEPs with the transparency of her accounts and her dedication, ethicality and workload (a sure way to make enemies in UKIP!) currently Stuart Agnew and David Bannerman are, I am reliably informed – still under investigation by OLAF for their abuse of trust in elected office and misuse of public money (as with Tom Wise who went to prison for his crimes).

Interestingly UKIP make much of trying to befoul Sinclaire’s name yet OLAF have absolutely no interest in investigating her, despite what seem to be ‘set up fantasies’ spun to West Midlands Police by John Ison, seemingly for his preferment in political rivalry as promised by UKIP – and since only one man in UKIP makes the decisions clearly he must have authorised the attempted set up!

Sadly Gary – your posting is accurate and it is clear there isn’t a single solitary achievement of note for the £50,000,000 or so we, as tax payers, have permitted UKIP to steal, purloin, squander and abuse.

Yet it is possible to achieve as an MEP, as Nikki Sinclaire has most ably shown, even using her own money for the cause where the rest of UKIP leadership seem to think paying money for their own election is some sort of magnanimous gesture – beyond that what money has ANY UKIP MEP ever donated to the good of the party?

So sad when they had such potential and hardly surprising they try to jump on every passing band wagon!

In reality UKIP leadership are beneath contempt – just a gaggle of racist, abusive self seekers of little or no merit!

Isn’t it astonishing that some of the most consistently corrupt politicians slide through every situation, be it drunkeness, consorting with prostitutes, self enrichment, sexual abuse, abuse of power need I go on? We all have watched in horrified disgust as ‘teflon coated politicians’ oleaginously slide through every challenge.
Tony Blair clocked up almosty every aspect of such horror and added war crimes and crimes against humanity unchallenged, as Clinton in his sexual inadequacy needed reassurance at every opportunity even so far as rape – it is not just Jimmy Saville and the entertainment business that expresses its inadequacies and inferiority by exploiting sex with the vulnerable.
Then again let us face it – since political decision making of any meaning is an undemocratic process of imposition by unelected beauraucrats on a top down basis with no regard to the wishes of the people most politicians are relegated to being little more than entertainers – perhaps this inadequacy explains the way in which so called leaders are able to act in a criminal manner or at best amorally!

TO LEAVE THE EU

What is the Exit and Survival Plan for these United Kingdoms to maximise on the many benefits when we Leave-The-EU. It is the DUTY of our Politicians and Snivil Cervants to ensure the continuity, liberty and right to self determination of our peoples – they have a DUTY to protect against crime and secure both our food and our borders.

Every single British Politician, of EVERY Party, elected since before we joined the EUropean Common Market, has promised to change The EU’s CAP – In 40 Years they have achieved absolutely NOTHING towards that unanimous promise!

To try to put a value on OUR Freedom is as futile as floccipaucinihilipilification and as odious as the metissage of our societies, as we rummage in the ashes of our ancestors dreams, sacrifices and achievements, the flotsam of our hopes and the jetsam of our lives, consider the Country and Anglosphere which we thus leave our children and the future, with shame!

Hi,
I noted this interesting piece of background a day or two ago when the idiots seeking preferment in UKIP and trying to secure their place on or funded by the EU gravy train were trying desperately to both defame Gary Cartwright and aalso desperate to denigrate the facts published on by the Junius Team.

I feel that as a background to some of the corruption and stupidity that is endemic in UKIP and amongst the trash gathered in and around its leadership it might help people to understand just how unfit for purpose UKIP has become!

Make of it what you will – it was written by Gary Cartwright and published on one of his blogs:
I’ve often been asked how I came to work in Brussels.
In a nutshell, I joined UKIP in around 2001 and found myself, having been co-opted onto the London Regional Committee, working with mayoral candidate Frank Maloney. Immediately after that campaign I took myself off to Minsk where I worked with elements of the democratic opposition that have now been absorbed into the Belorussian Popular Front. Its an interesting life…
On my return from Minsk I found a letter on my doormat from Nigel Farage inviting me to come out to Brussels. Thats how it happened. I had studied European Governance and Democratic Theory at Uni, so I suppose I was considered to be as well qualified as anybody in UKIP.
Sadly I fell out with Farage, as so many do, and I have been airbrushed out of UKIP history, and painted as some sort of a right-wing extremist. Anybody associated with me, it is hinted, is also an extremist, something that I find extremely offensive.
Bulletin From Brussels, Issue 1
So lets put the record straight, shall we?
This is from the first issue of Bulletin From Brussels, which I edited for, I seem to recall, 4 issues. It was a bit of fun, and I was quite pleased with it at the time It was a publication of UKIP’s Independence & Democracy Group in the European Parliament.
 
Whilst I remain on good terms with most of the fine folk in these pictures, I wonder what would happen to them if they were photographed with me now?
Bulletin From Brussels, Issue 3

Although the front page of the Bulletin always featured Nigel Farage, understandable given that he was head of the UKIP delegation in the EP, it was Roger Knapman, then party leader, with whom I always had the most pleasure working.

I have always credited Roger with UKIP’s landmark election results in 2004. Without his political acumen, contacts, and steady hand (albeit with a little help from Kilroy and Dick Morris!) I think UKIP would have struggled to hold the 3 seats gained in 1999.
 
But is was not just in Brussels that we produced such literature. I was also tasked by Farage with editing a one-off ‘Independence News’, similar to something that had been produced previously. This, however, was officially a UKIP publication. If anybody associated with me is an extremist, then this cutting must surely beg some answers!
Of course, Nigel Farage is no more an extremist than I am, despite what some might say about him. It was always easy to write copy for him as he always had a clear idea of what he wanted to say, and generally trusted his staff to deliver.
And so there you have it. Since leaving the Independence & Democracy Group I have worked with Independent MEPs in 2 parliaments, and to this day I am happy to work with, in an official capacity, 2 UKIP MEPs.
I also had a brief spell working as a journalist, during which period I presented a report on extremism in the EU to the Simon Weisenthal Centre. Life is never dull in the world of politics!

UKIP: Lack of Joined up Thinking, or Something Else?

 

UKIP never showed much of a propensity for joined up thinking. I well remember: the much vaunted policy paper launches which were embarrassing, with content being so controlled (and redacted) from above, and with the suggestion of unseen hands in the background that I eventually came to agree with Roger Knapman – architect of the 2004 Euro election success – that UKIP should have remained a one issue party.

I note an article on their party website complaining that a recently announced cut in wind energy subsidies is not enough – (complaining about wind energy is the party’s stock in trade). But I also note that in UKIP’s aged and out of date environment and energy policy, the party calls for 50% of Britain’s power to come from nuclear generation. I have no problem with that per se, in fact I contributed to that paper, but does the party not realise the extent to which nuclear energy is subsidised in the UK?

Subsidies for nuclear energy are largely disguised, a matter recently brought up with ministers by backbenchers in the Commons. For example: limitation of liabilities, underwriting of insurance costs, subsidising waste disposal, and most importantly providing institutional support for the concept of nuclear energy. Other areas of concern have been identified.

UKIP states in the article I refer to above that “The whole wind farm industry is a con and is not viable without subsidies. It is wrong that the taxpayer should be paying to keep afloat private businesses, often based abroad,…”

British energy, which operates nuclear plants, came close to bankruptcy in 2004, and was saved by, guess what, a government subsidy of £3billion. France’s EDF now owns 80% of British Energy.

Do you see what I mean about lack of joined up thinking?

But as regards UKIP’s position, we have to ask if it is indeed lack of joined up thinking, or is it those aforementioned unseen hands in the backgroung that are responsible for the lack of consistency, at least in this policy area? I personally suspect the latter.

Hi,

isn’t it possibly just The Farage Party jumping on yet another shodily researched & crassly amateurly presented ‘Band Wagon’?

It becomes ever clearer that UKIP has become part of the problem – sustained by a claque of self interested hopefulls, willing to bully, abuse and lie to advance their own chances of enrichment & glory.

UKIP can not cite a single achievement of any consequence towards the aim of Leave-The-EU since 2004 & before that its only real achievement was Roger Knapman leading the party to 12 MEPs (helped by Nigel Farage having lied to Killroy Silk to get him on board & dumped David Lott to ride on the popularity & achievements of Ashley Mote with whom he arbitrarily replaced him – both of whom he stabbed in the back at the first opportunity, standing by his other protege the criminal Tom Wise who gave him some of the stolen money to settle his debts!).

12 MEPs, huge opportunities & huge amounts of money squandered to turn it into The Farage Party, with Farage given near dictatorial powers & falling out with 1/3rd of his own MEPs as he put in place staff who were indebted to him personally for their jobs, thereby ensuring a cabal of protection from willing nebishes!

IF Farage Quit has he so damaged the brand as to ensure it would wither & die, as clearly there is no one of consequence to take over nor any staff or officers of integrity with any morality or integrity. The MEPs collude in silence over the undeniable corruption either in fear of Farage or pure self interested greed – mostly happy to feed on the bribes tolerating or in some cases actively promoting race hatred, religious bigotry, anti homosexuality, nepotism and the trappings of delusional importance.

Farage built the party, helping others who were leaders, in turning it into The Farage Party for lack of ANYONE of probity, competence, gravitas or ability; has he destroyed the very vehicle that has enriched him, after his catastrophic failure in The City before he became a career politician?

It does seem that part of UKIP’s lack of joined up thinking has led to it being a one man band & irrelevant in the cause of Leave-The-EU moving between ‘BandWagon’ jumping, foolish stunts & crassly amateur low grade or even bad publicity!

It is sad to see the party & ideals I supported destroyed & as Gary Cartright implies, there is still an outside chance it could be ‘cleaned-up’ and made Fit for Purpose.

As to this latest ‘Band Wagon’ it is self evident that ONLY via Nuclear energy can Britain ever hope to supply its energy needs and surely it is better to subsidise success than the profits of the con artists with their ugly and ultimately effectively useless windmills. 

I have no problem with subsidy of British supplied British needs – currently we grossly subsidise The EU scam at the rate of £50Billion a day at a current cost of £750 each per annum! How can it be sensible to fund and or subsidise call centers in India & The Phillipines and French suppliers of energy and water whilst subsidies to continental farmers put our bovine interests out of business our pig farmers under Danish ownership and our egg producers at a disadvantage.

Perhaps The Farage Party could be tempted to ‘clean-up’ and start to deliver having achieved absolutely nothing since 2004 save ride the ‘Band Wagon’ of the public’s increasing awareness of the catastrophic nature of membership of The EU – no part of that increase in awareness can UKIP claim as The Farage Party did not even oppose The Lisbon Treaty nor provide literature or trained people to deliver the message – they just don’t do ‘joined up thinking’.

Obviously he has made many other comments on UKIP!

I understand that Gary Cartwright is currently NOT employed by UKIP or any UKIP MEP past or present but is directly employed by The EU on behalf of The Non Assigned Independent MEPs and has been assigned, no doubt for convenience of language and association with their aims to Leave-The-EU to Trevor Colman & Mike Nattrass who have rejected the leadership of Farage and membership of his squalid money making machine The EFD and also is assigned to Nikki Sinclaire MEP who rejected working with Farage’s racist, xenophobic, anti Jewish, anti homosexual, anti Muslim Reformist Nationalist self interest group in The EU.

There are some who claim she was thrown out of UKIP subsequently as she is both openly homosexual and also a patriotic withdrawalist with ideas (viz: her Referendum Petition with which she forced Parliament to hold a full debate on Leave-The-EU).

There is no doubt Nikki Sinclaire’s determination to be transparent and act with integrity & probity investing a substantial amount of her own money in the Leave-The-EU cause has proved embarrassing for the corrupt self serving MEPs in UKIP’s Group.

We note for instance David Bannerman who consistently lies and misleads has been only too willing to hop from party to party out of self interest and can be trusted as far as one could kick him, having openly stated that if he could get a script adopted (read) in Hollywood he would leave politics AND Britain immediately!

OR Gerard Batten who besides enriching his family uses UKIP to produce and distribute his vile overt racists incitements, particularly regarding Islam, in defence of his own chosen superstitions and religious cult.

OR Nigel Farage who pays his wife £30K a year for her services and banks beyond the reach of the British tax man ‘little people’ have to fund with complex trusts, such as The Farage Educational Trust in The Isle of Man etc.

OR Gerard Batten with his employment of family members and apparent failure to clearly differentiate between his other money making enterprises and his duties as an MEP. OR his abuse of elected office when arrested copulating with a black prostitute on the bonnet of a car in a public street using his elected office as shelter claiming diplomatic imunity etc. etc.

Let us not forget it was Sinclaire who first published her full accounts auditted on line; it would seem as a result all sorts of false allegations have been made against her – leading at this stage to a West Midlands Police investigation which seems to center on John Ison, her very much ex manager who had responsibility for her accounts when Nigel Farage controlled them and whether he set out to corrupt them deliberately to mislead the police and whether he acted in collusion with Nigel Farage or his agents.

It does seem farcical to claim or believe that an MEP might be guilty of fraud yet invested considerably more of their own money than the ‘claimed’ fraud.

Sadly I incline to agree with Gary Cartwright in his implications that UKIP is so befouled and corrupted it is unlikely to be fixable with Farage in situe and I incline to believe his destruction of the party for his own gain has reduced it to an irrelevance as clearly there is no one of stature or competence in the leadership team or on the staff – There can not be as without exception they have colluded in the corruption as not one can claim to have spoken out against it.

It would be nice to think that the party people like Gary Cartwright, Niall Warry, the Junius posters, myself, Nikki Sinclaire, Petrina Holdsworth, Dr. Edmond, Dr. Abbott, myself and so many others once supported could be revivified but sadly the greed and personal agendas & ambition of the sordid clique leading UKIP and its claque will fight tooth and nail to hang onto their bloated income stream.

But we can but try – until an organisation of probity, vision, competence and gravitas is able to step up to the plate to lead Britain to Leave-The-EU – preferably before its collapse as then it can be done in an orderly manner unlike the rout in Iran and the idiocy and failure in Afghanistan that reflects British political elite of today!
