UKIP’s Incompetence In Sex Attack Undermines The Party showing just how unfit for responsible office this misogynistic, racist self serving rudderless and largely leaderless group of libertine, amoral and louche ‘political’ aspirants are!!

.
Hi,

the allegations of sexual abuse, which have been so irresponsibly and incompetentently handled by Michael Greaves, Lisa Duffy, Gawain Towler and others in UKIP, in their official capacities leaves UKIP shown to be incompetent to deal with the simplest of issues.

This matter which has been reported by this blog at CLICK HERE & also HERE still leaves SH & SW’s reputations in the gutter as they have clearly felt they would be unwise to report the allegations against them for Police investigation, giving the distinct impression that although they may not be guilty of rape, as first reported do seem all too likely to have been responsible for a cowardly and shameful attack on a young female UKIP supporter the worse for drink and as she claims a drugged  drink!

Even Nigel Farage was yet again embroilled in this sex sxandal as Kirsten Farage has made clear, having made no effort to ensure this young UKIP activists inappropriate behaviour was not competently handled!

Now it is clear that a third party complaint to the Police of which we were aware, will lead to investigation by rather more competent and responsible hands than the bufoons in UKIP’s leadership, a leadership with previous form before the courts for abuse of women! Though we gather no further action was taken against SW over past allegations!

Police due to investigate claims that woman was assaulted at Ukip conference

A Conservative MP is writing to police about allegations that a female Ukip supporter had her drink spiked, her dress ripped and was photographed.

Police are expected to investigate allegations that a female supporter of the United Kingdom Independence Party was assaulted by two activists at its annual conference.

Julian Smith, the Conservative MP for Skipton and Ripon, is writing to West Midlands Police, asking them to look into the claims that the woman had her drink spiked, her dress ripped and was photographed.

“He feels that the reports are cause for concern and merit police investigation,” said a spokesman for Mr Smith.

The alleged victim’s claims were investigated internally by a Ukip official, who concluded that there was no reason to call in the police.

The Ukip inquiry was closed at the end of last year after Michael Greaves, the party’s general secretary, reported to its leader, Nigel Farage, that the woman’s story was inconsistent and that if any offence had been committed it was a minor one.

However, the allegations did not come to light until details leaked out and were reported by The Sunday Telegraph three weeks ago.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said it would respond to the letter when it arrived.

Now will The West Midlands Police step up to the plate and ensure the young woman and those she alleges sexually abused her (whether rape or sexual exploitation) receive justice & set UKIP an example to follow – though I hold out little hope in the light of their own behaviour in the prosecution of John Ison and others leading to ‘Justice delayed is Justice denied’ in relation to the malicious and seemingly self serving efforts of UKIP against Nikki Sinclaire and their leaders lies about her.

Those who are quick to offer scorn and ridicule on others,

are often slow to appreciate their equal right to justice and a fair

hearing. Can I use that as the basis for my explanation?

I had two encounters with the Police, both of which were very

harmful to me, and both were the result of the endeavours of

staff employed by Derek Clark MEP. On the first occasion the

Police arrived at my pied-a-terre, an address which I did not use

for purposes of mail and electoral registration, but only casual

occupation for my convenience of employment. It was about 8,am

and some eight Police arrived with a battering ram. I told them that

force was not necessary, for I had done nothing wrong and would co-operate

wholly with them. I was taken to a local Police station and held for about

10-12 hours while they searched my address and removed whatever they chose.

At the end of that time I was not charged, or cautioned or advised to live a more

innocent life. They had received a call to Crime-Stoppers which was wholly devoid

of truth. That was a fearful and humiliating experience, and one from which I have not

wholly recovered. A few days previously one of Mr Clark’s staff warned me to expect

a visit from the Police, and that proved to be the case. Following the event, I telephoned

Mr Clark, and he sneeringly said that it could have been UKIP.

That was to be just the first interest that the Police were to take in me. A report was

passed to the Police that I was transferring capital from the bank account of an elderly

relative and depositing it into another. The Police visited that elderly relatives care home,

and I was able to fully explain the situation. Acting with the power of attorney, I was not

only entitled to make those transfers, but was required to do so. That was to ensure my

relative had security of residence. I was soon to holiday in Bolivia, and I was anxious to

clear doubts that the Police may have had. They told me that they were fully satisfied,

as the home confirmed the financial arrangement which involved me. Whilst in Bolivia,

contacts with the Police informed me that all their enquiries had ceased. It later transpired

that the Police informant had been an employee of Mr Clark, and that name remains on the

investigation file.

Why should that have happened to me? I had been a faithful member and paid employee of

UKIP for some 15 years. The late Geoffrey Kingscott, UKIP General Secretary, had assigned to

me that task of analysing the national account. I reported to him that concerns were justified

and more investigations were needed. I was to encounter immediate difficulties, which finally

resulted in my employment being terminated. If Mr Clark feels that he is being harshly

treated, he is welcome to provide his version of events to the Police or HMRC.

Why should I have to have these falsehood resurrected on the BDF in recent times? They were false

at the time, and that remains the position.Without a blemish on my good name, I am not prepared

to be harmed further by those postings which were published on the BDF. I have written both privately

and through an ‘open letter’ to Mr Butcher. All has been ignored. May I again ask that he provides those

postngs from Mr Pain and Mr Ransome? He can do it privately to me, or through any Police or statutory

agency. This is not a game, but a serious matter which he appears prepared to ignore.

We then hear from too particularly odious fools ‘Independent UKIP’ and ‘FKEU’ both too ashamed of their sneering publishings and distortions to put their names to their cowardly and ill informed opinions.

Ian Gillman would seem to have the measure of them:

FKEU : You are an utter fool. Utterly pointless. You were not, and
have never been part of matters. You do however, unfortunately; have a
computer.

The NEC are ” jointly and severally liable “.

I was the only member of that NEC to actually attempt to do something. No person supported me.

I was not prepared to be arrogantly and violently threatened with a
requirement for silence ( in contempt of court ) whilst being” jointly
and severally liable ” for what was explained, and other matters that I
knew were going on. Tom Wise MEP impacts here.

Subsequent to me, Messers Edmund, Abbot and Young found themselves challenged in a similar manner.

It is interesting to recall the circumstances around events at the NEC
with Dr Eric Edmund, and Mr Derek Clark MEP the former national
secretary.

Mr Clark does enjoy particularly interesting summer holidays.

Following his return from this years travels we must hope that he feels
sufficiently relaxed to unwind all of his knowledge about matters
affecting us, and our greater families.

The unpleasant sneering manner of cowards like ‘Independent UKIP’, ‘FKEU’, Mick McGough’, and earlier imbecilic postings by the likes of Douglas Denny, Skeptyk, Mark Croucher or the lies of UKIP Chairmen, Derek Clark, Tom Wise and the like do such regular and major harm to UKIP and they seem too stupid to realise! As ‘Mike’ points out, in his own inimitable way:

Thank God I’m banned from UKIP and can’t be persuaded to give it any money. Anyone agree?

Hi,

further to the allegations of rape made by a young activist who is currently having her father turn away the media to prevent justice being done which we covered at CLICK HERE the media is making more of the story than they otherwise might with a major Sunday paper featuring it as a front page splash:

To view the original CLICK HERE

On page 4 the story with UKIP seemingly seeking to defame and demean the young woman was almost all provided under the guiding light of a prostitute who serviced politicians of yesteryear Ms. Mandy Rice-Davis who so appositely said ‘Well they would say that wouldn’t they’ as in this instance salaried staff members of UKIP and its leaders stepped up to the plate to belittle the young activist they should mosty cleartly have been supporting!

This is NOT the story of some rape orchestrated, or so it seemed, as the Telegraph first claimed – nor even a sexual assault and sexual and physical abuse on behalf of UKIP as the story has now unfolded – The be all and end all of this story is of the crass incompetence and irresponsibility of UKIP’s leadership team in dealing with the matter.

Imagine placing an elderly male employee in the position of investigating the matter, a job for which he clearly has no qualification or at least none quoted or in his CV, a staffer who failed to interview the alleged victim but did interview other salarid staff and the alleged perpetrator of the offence!

This just reads like the most crass and ineptly amateur attempt at ‘whitewash’ by a self serving clique of irresponsible fools – again and again we see the style of UKIP under its present claque of fools given ANY responsibility in governance, when the image they SEEK to potray for their leader is that of a stumble bum drunk constantly with a drink in hand and a fag near by!

Read the article for yourself and put yourself in the shoes of the father of this foolish young woman – of course he rebutts the press and little wonder this thus leads to feeding the story!

‘Spiked drink’ and the night Ukip’s party turned sour

The party faithful at Ukip’s gala dinner were in buoyant mood. Hours earlier, Nigel Farage had delivered a galvanising leader’s speech at the party’s 2012 conference.

The dinner afterwards at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Birmingham offered the leadership and rank and file the opportunity to have a drink, relax and mingle.

The meal was a largely jolly affair, accompanied as it was by a fundraising auction that – this being Ukip – included such desirable items as tea bags in a fancy box and a woven silk portrait of the Queen.

“This was a gathering that featured little of the bombast and none of the slickness of the larger parties’ shindigs,” reported one commentator at the time.

Yet 10 months on, the repercussions of that night’s events are still being felt.

A female activist has claimed that, amid the frivolity of the evening, she had been subjected to a “brutal assault” by a senior figure in Young Independence, Ukip’s youth wing. She said her drink had been spiked and her dress “ripped down”. She had been spat on, called a “whore”, then photographed in a state of undress to ensure her silence.

The claims finally became public two weeks ago when The Telegraph’s Mandrake column reported some of the details, leaving Ukip open to possible criticism of effectively covering up a crime by not calling in the police.

Last week, Ukip responded by passing to this newspaper a dossier detailing the claims and counter-claims for what happened that night and in the weeks and months following.

What is not contested is that the alleged incident followed the gala dinner on Friday Sept 21, presided over by Mr Farage and the party’s chairman, Steve Crowther. The alleged victim had been placed at a prominent table by Lisa Duffy, Ukip’s party director.

Lisa Duffy

The events that followed are murkier and disputed. At the heart of the case is the woman’s claim – made 12 days after the conference ended – that she had been subjected to a violent assault after her drink had been spiked.

She made the allegations in a number of emails to Miss Duffy and, as a result, the party opened an internal investigation conducted by Michael Greaves, one of its most senior officials. Mr Greaves is Ukip’s general secretary, but also a lawyer with experience at the International Criminal Court.

Last week he released to The Sunday Telegraph a report he had compiled on the case, based on the alleged victim’s emails, an interview with one of the alleged attackers and eyewitness accounts. He did not interview the woman either face-to-face or by telephone.

Mr Greaves has also written a separate, longer account for Mr Farage and Ukip officials.

Steve Crowther

In the version handed to this newspaper, he concluded that the “matter had no legs whatsoever”. After interviewing or taking statements from, among others, Mr Farage’s wife, Kirsten, Mr Greaves felt that the alleged victim’s story contained contradictions that did not stand up to wider scrutiny.

He said that she had been drinking so heavily “she must have been close to causing herself ill-health” and that the day after the attack she “is seen to be in perfectly good nick”, casting doubt on her memory of events and her claim to have been traumatised.

Mr Greaves’s report outlines events from the beginning of the evening of the gala dinner. By then, according to the Ukip account, the alleged victim had already caused a stir.

Mrs Farage had witnessed the woman “coming on strongly” to her husband. The woman, who according to witnesses was “very drunk”, is alleged to have invited Mr Farage back to her room before she was escorted from the party leader’s presence. Mr Farage had “politely declined” her offer.

With dinner over, many of the activists went on to a party hosted by Paul Staines, better known as Guido Fawkes, the political blogger. The woman went too.

Michael Greaves

Mr Greaves wrote in his report: “C [the alleged victim] was again seen by KF [Kirsten Farage] who saw that she was still very very drunk. KF indicates that she continued to drink prodigiously, perhaps 10 further glasses of wine.”

He added: “It is after this period of alcohol consumption that C claims that she was assaulted by having her dress ripped, that she was spat upon and was photographed. One of those involved with her called her a whore.”

The next day, according to the Ukip account, the woman appeared to have made a remarkable recovery. Mrs Farage and Miss Duffy both gave evidence that she was “chatting, laughing and smoking” outside the conference venue and did not look “particularly traumatised”.

Four days later, on Wednesday Sept 26, the woman wrote to Miss Duffy thanking her for seating her at the table, saying: “I am really impressed with the direction that Ukip is taking.”

Eight days on, her tone had changed. In a second email to Miss Duffy, she laid out what she then recalled had happened to her.

“Two of your Young Independence members physically assaulted me quite brutally outside the Crowne Plaza in Birmingham on the gala night,” she wrote.

“I also realise that one of my drinks was spiked and the effects of this lasted two days, including loss of vision which was terrifying and loss of memory which unfortunately for me returned this week. I’ve been really traumatised by this and am not wishing to take things further due to threats being made against me.”

Two days later on Oct 6, the woman wrote again: “I’m still very traumatised… One young guy took me outside, ripped down my dress while another took photographs, spat on me and called me a whore. All I remember is someone saying it was set up.”

She complained of feeling “numb to everything around me” as a result of the spiked drink, and suffered from heavy nosebleeds.

She added: “One young man needs slinging out of the party and reporting to the police. I haven’t done the latter since I didn’t want a scandal for everyone who works so hard in Ukip or a scandal for my family.”

On Oct 18, she wrote again to Miss Duffy: “I am afraid that what I have been through is a very serious matter and I will need to get the police involved. I’m currently seeing a solicitor about the actions of [X] and two others who were also involved in what is an assault.”

It was at this point that Ukip’s leadership, with the knowledge of Mr Farage, asked Mr Greaves to investigate.

“It is not at any stage in this matter for Ukip to report matters to the police,” wrote Mr Greaves in his analysis for The Telegraph.

He drove from Brussels to the UK to interview the alleged attacker – referred to throughout the dossier as X to protect his identity. During the interview, X denied the attack and also gave an alibi.

Mr Greaves concluded after the interview that X was “on the balance of probabilities” telling the truth.

He wrote: “Apart from what I believe to be an untruth about his taking medication, which may be explicable on the basis that someone wanting advancement in Ukip might well decide to conceal a medical condition which seriously affects mood and temperament, the writer [Mr Greaves] had no basis whatsoever to conclude anything other than that X was telling the truth or, at the least, may be telling the truth on the balance of probabilities.”

Following the interview with X, Mr Greaves decided no disciplinary action could be taken against him and wrote a report for party officials and for Mr Farage outlining why.

In his account to this newspaper, he wrote: “At this stage the complaint is, on any view, in a sorry state. C has given accounts which as to material matters are inconsistent with one another, certainly to the eye of a skilled criminal cross-examiner.”

He pointed to a series of inconsistencies, including the email on Sept 26 which made no mention of an assault. The email, he explained, “fatally undermines her later assertions of having been assaulted and having had he [sic] drink spiked”.

Mr Greaves also pointed to discrepancies between her account and statements from Miss Duffy and Mrs Farage among others, not least the alleged victim’s claim that she had suffered nose bleeds and loss of vision, adding: “The evidence of KF and LD entirely contradicts this.”

On Nov 9, Mr Greaves also wrote to the woman, inviting her to make a formal complaint to Ukip, but advising her that if she wished to do so “it is inevitable that other people will have to be involved in the affair”.

In his account, he added: “One might properly and reasonably conclude that any solicitor advising her would give her advice that once she makes a complaint of this kind it would inevitably find its way into the public domain, even before the advent of the egregious era of so-called ‘social media’.”

The woman, who had been to see a lawyer, wrote back promptly saying that she did not wish to lodge a formal complaint with Ukip. But she also wrote on Nov 12 that she had been “blackmailed into keeping quiet and that photographs taken outside the hotel would be used against her”. In the letter, the alleged victim also said for the first time that a woman had “set up the attack”.

Mr Greaves saw this as further proof of her constantly changing story. He also concluded that the attack was not a serious one. “The only complaint made had been one of assault by battery, to the extent of the ripping of a dress (to an unknown extent) and spitting. On any view, it is unlikely that that would attract more than a conditional discharge from the magistrates,” he wrote.

He also pointed out that there was no “sexual aspect” to the case except for the woman’s approach to Mr Farage earlier in the evening when she invited him to room.

Mr Greaves informed Mr Farage of his findings and at that point closed the file on the case.

Ukip’s leadership believed that was the end of the matter, but details began to leak out. In March, the alleged victim posted some of her allegations on a social networking site. “Too many witnesses to what happened. Some have evidence,” she wrote in one message, followed by: “Starting to write a short book about the attack. Finding it incredibly painful but will shame those involved. Someone spat in my face too.”

A few days later she added: “If you’ve been drink spiked go to the police, get evidence.”

Later she wrote: “I don’t know which was worse: waking up the next am and not being able to see properly or blood running down my face and not remembering a thing.”

She has never gone to the police and the West Midlands force has no record of any allegation of assault.

The woman still stands by her story, while Ukip disputes it. The truth is that what actually happened at Ukip’s conference that night in September may never be fully known.

To view the original story CLICK HERE

There is NO aspect of Robert Mendick’s presentation of this story that leads me to alter the views I put forward on the 07-Jul-2013 at CLICK HERE

The only viable way forward to dig UKIP out of the hole it has dug for itself is to make sure justice is done and UKIP act responsibly and hand the matter over, as a complaint, to the police – thus exhonourating Farage from blame and culpability and he and his officers being accessories after the fact to a criminal event, be that a false allegation by a young and drunken woman or a whitewash to cover-up a crime or the assault by one or more members of the party.

Clearly UKIP in its present state as a libertine and largely irresponsible organisation should set an example and admit its mistake and ensure that not only is justice done but is seen to be done by aiding those who they have wronged by making a third party complaint to the Police and demanding Police investigation to ensure justice and the clearing of the names of the innocent.

Letting UKIP’s vile gaggle of cowards, mysogenists and anonimised staff and supporters denigrate, speculate and defame on behalf of Farage’s party serves their cause ill!

Hi,

I appreciate that this is not a fully substantiated article but merely an exemplar of the behaviour of Ukip which was and is all too common, bringing these United Kingdoms into disrepute. howver be well aware that as a story it was considered sufficiently factually informative, by a major broadsheet, to pass its legal department!

That such events occur amongst the supporters of other Parties is neither mitigation nor valid as again and again in Ukip those who are responsible are elected members, staff and and amongst the leadership and its direct aspirants, and Ukip is a relatively small party.

Time and again we hear of such events in Ukip and of mistresses and salaried staff who seem incapable of not abusing those who end up beneath them by use of their positions of authority.

This seems a norm in Ukip where as it is clearly an exception in the main two parties, who clearly have better judgement and more adept disciplinary standards.

There seems to be an inordinate number of such instances associated with Ukip & Ukip Yooof over the years. Talk of these irresponsible and self indulgent individuals occurs all too often, though as with this instance there seems to be a tendency to manage to ensure it is hushed up, it is allegedly achieved by blackmail and bullying, as was the case in this instance, it seems.

Wonderful just how much silence one can buy with photographs and threats to publish them on the internet I gather!

Alternatively the simple threat that their EU Building pass can be revoked, if they speak out, silences many when groped, abused or raped; as to complain would thus lose them their job – particularly with young attractive Latvians, Lithuanians and the like, ex Communist block, lobbyists and staff.

Hi,I’m no fan of the modern unions and believe they are largely to blame for the rot of British society and its industries, stiffling entrepenuerial efforts and sponsoring the obscene excesses of the Labour Party. Labour like the unions would seem to be largely a scam for rather unpleasant people to exploit the gullible and enrich themselves, in a largely unprincipled manner5.

One only has to look at the vaste wealth Tony Blair created for himself by exploiting political privilege and opportunities or Arthur Scargill who took over a huge union whilst living in a small house with a modest car and exploited the system to create a much smaller and all but irelevant union whilst chauffer driven in an expensive car and living in a large house!

Such a common patern!

I also resent the corruption of the democratic process which has been achieved by unions just as with the various superstition groups in our country be tyhey the bronze age cults & constructs like Islam or christianity or the modern fashionable scams like Greens, Warmists and their odious ilk!

I declined to publish the article below when I first read it on the 13-Jul-2013 as I do not value the opinions of union leaders any more than I value those of prattling priests of whatever superstition! However the article thaty follows this first article adds rather more weright to the comments on UKIP, with which in isolation I largely disagree!

Secret Unite report calls UKIP a ‘pre-fascist’ party: McCluskey’s union says Miliband ‘panders’ to the Right – and plots more control over Labour

  • Scathing report written by former Unite political director Steve Hart
  • Says Labour is not doing enough to oppose ‘austerity’ cuts
  • Criticises Miliband for intervening in Falkirk selection row

By Simon Walters, Mail on Sunday Political Editor

Warning: Steve Hart, a recent Unite political director, wrote the key report

Warning: Steve Hart, a recent Unite political director, wrote the key report

Nigel Farage’s anti-EU UKIP party has been condemned as ‘pre-fascist’ and ‘xenophobic’ in a secret report by Len McCluskey’s Unite union.

The report accuses Ed Miliband of ‘pandering’ to Right-wingers, calls Ed Balls ‘deeply disappointing’, says Labour is not doing  enough to oppose the Government’s ‘austerity’ spending cuts and ‘prevaricated’ over fighting the so-called ‘bedroom tax.’

It praises ‘brave’ rebel Labour MPs who defied Mr Miliband by voting against new laws to force the unemployed to take jobs.

It is scathing about the Labour leader’s decision to intervene in the row over claims that Unite tried to rig a Parliamentary selection contest in Falkirk, Scotland.

And it reveals how Unite is to spend £10,000 on up to 100 Labour target seats, focusing on union- backed candidates – with the campaigns run by Unite ‘constituency captains’ – to try to gain more influence over Labour policies after the next Election.

The document, seen by The Mail on Sunday, was written by Steve Hart, who has close links with the Labour leadership and was Unite’s political director until he left last month after a power struggle.

Mr Hart is a former aide to Ken Livingstone and the son of the late Judith Hart, a Left-wing Cabinet Minister who served in Labour governments in the 1960s and 1970s. The confidential report, submitted to a meeting of Unite’s political committee, launches a highly provocative attack on UKIP leader Nigel Farage, warning Mr Miliband not to ‘chase’ his party’s votes.

‘The UKIP vote represents a dangerous, populist Right-wing vote which is swayed by anti-immigrant and anti-European rhetoric – and nostalgia for a comfortable world that never really existed,’ it states.

‘These are all the hallmarks of pre-fascist movements – which is not to say that UKIP is fascist, because it isn’t, but to point to the dangers of ignoring them and the issues or attempting to chase them.’

General Secretary of Unite union Len McCluskey is in the midst of a bitter dispute with Labour leader Ed Miliband over the Falkirk selection battle

General Secretary of Unite union Len McCluskey is in the midst of a bitter dispute with Labour leader Ed Miliband over the Falkirk selection battle

Mr Hart adds: ‘The threat of xenophobic UKIP remains very real – in common with Right-wing populism and indeed fascism, which is growing dangerously across Europe.’

In the strongly-worded section on ‘anti-fascism’, the report deplores the ‘outpouring of racism’ over the murder of soldier Lee Rigby in Woolwich, adding: ‘Far too many, in the thrall of Islamophobia, sought to blame Islam. Yet rightly, no one blames Christianity for Jimmy Savile’s crimes.’

The disclosure of the report comes in the middle of a bitter dispute between Mr Miliband and Unite General Secretary Mr McCluskey over the Falkirk selection battle. The Unite-backed candidate, Karie Murphy, a close friend and ally of Mr McCluskey, was suspended from the Labour Party after claims that the union tried to rig the contest, a claim the union denies.

It prompted Mr Miliband to order major changes in Labour’s links with the unions. Defiantly, the union’s ‘General Election plan’ says that ‘in spite of current frustrations and anger’ in the wake of the Falkirk row, its ‘strategic purpose and direction remain clear’.

Slur: Nigel Farage's UKIP party supporters are described as dangerous

Slur: Nigel Farage’s UKIP party supporters are described as dangerous

It makes no attempt to conceal its lukewarm support for Mr Miliband, stating: ‘The worst Labour government is better than the best Tory government.’

It gives details of Unite plans to run its own campaign ‘cells’ in 100 Labour target seats, which will provide supporters with resources, including clothes.

‘Unite will build a structure based on one Constituency Captain and field organisers. The Constituency 10 will have responsibility for organising 10 contacts with each Unite member in the seat 20 months before the Election.’

The document makes it clear that despite its setback in Falkirk,  it remains determined to get as many pro-Unite Labour candidates as possible, and in secrecy,  if necessary.

‘Our work in selections is a bit like a swan, all that can be seen is indication of support here or there, while below the water, activity is furious.’

It says the activities of Unite’s political department is ‘dominated currently by candidate selection matters’, and it adds: ‘We  have had to park some areas of  work temporarily – selections wait for no one.’

To read the original article CLICK HEREIt is sad that UKIP with so sound a policy when they espoused Leave-The-EU has become so befouled and corrupt and utterly beredt of competent leadership, ethical standards and any gravitas with the unfortunate Nigel Farage, for all his talents as an entertainer, portrayed as something of a clown by the party he controls to promote him!

Populism may provide ‘shock’ results and publicity but showing ones leader as beset with his various doxies with an omni present, nay even mandatory, pint in hand as some sort of degenerate louthario is hardly meat for long term respect and results, compounded by promotion of his addiction to cigarettes and glee at breaking the law and like a small boy who tells juvenile toilet jokes Farage may get publicity being rude and offensive but he demeans democracy and undermines his own long term credibility.

That UKIP Press Office has a long list of liars, degenerates and criminals as its staff perhaps points the way to the source of his inept PR.

Just how inept the PR is is shown by the vile behaviour of its many faces with a few like Douglas Denny, Mark Croucher, Annabelle Fuller, Gawain Towler, Clive Page, Gulliford, Batten, Bloom and their ilk and the serial use of the corrupt influence of those who shelter their shame at their dishonesty and unpleasant efforts to denigrate & defame those who seek to expose the corruption and have adult conversations to try to make UKIP fit for purpose, by anonimising their output or using pseudonyms in their embarrassment.

Consider this article below where the Farage Party can not even agree on what excuses to use for their odious behaviour:

I was booted out of UKIP for my links to trade unions

Friday, July 19, 2013

A former UK Independence Party (UKIP) candidate in Devon, who followed Nigel Farage on his infamous tour of Scotland, claims to have been expelled for being a trade unionist.

David Smith, a retired teacher and bus driver who was in line to stand as an MEP, has branded his local Exeter branch a “renegade” operation and appealed to the colourful leader to “sort it out”.

Mr Smith, 64, who braved what Mr Farage branded as anti-English protests in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, said he was told his continued membership of the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) was a case of “mixed loyalties”.

The party has angrily rejected the accusations as “fictional” and “ludicrous” – claiming it has growing support among disgruntled former Labour voters – and said Mr Smith’s membership was simply not renewed because he was “not a team player”.

UKIP has become a political force to be reckoned with this year, taking a 23.2% share of the overall vote to gain four seats on Devon County Council for the first time in May. But in Exeter, where Labour won two seats, taking their tally to seven, the party failed to make an impact on Labour or the Tories, who hold the remaining two seats.

Mr Smith was hoping to be selected to become a candidate for the European Parliament in 2015 until he received a letter dated June 17, from Devon-based party chairman Steve Crowther, declining his application to renew his membership and refunding his subscription.

Mr Crowther blamed the refusal on “repeated and sustained round-robin e-mails” making “all kinds of allegations”. “These allegations have been fully investigated and found to have no basis, yet the e-mails have continued,” he wrote.

Mr Smith claims the decision to exclude him should be taken by the National Executive Committee. He said there was an “unofficial policy” against union members, adding: “I want to stay in UKIP to fight EU domination but I have been pushed out – my question to Nigel is are you going to sort it out?”

In a reply to Mr Crowther’s letter, he added: “After travelling to the other end of the UK, canvassing and delivering leaflets in the housing estates of Aberdeen in the run up to the Don by-election where I actively supported our candidate Otto Inglis and Party leader against vociferous demonstrators, some of which were anti-fascists – this was some reward.”

UKIP South West spokesman James Carver said: “Mr Smith’s membership application was not renewed due to circumstances surrounding a breach of electoral law, and his failure to address that important issue to the satisfaction of the local branch committee, when challenged.

“The allegations in his letter are clearly misplaced and inaccurate – UKIP has many trade unionists as members, and at no time whatsoever was he censured for any trade union activity or membership. This is just sour grapes from a former member, who would not work as part of a team, at a time when UKIP is going from strength to strength.”

Hi,

it is sad for those who really, really want to see Britain Leave-The-EU to watch the self destruction of UKIP as it persues numbers rather than results, dignity, gravitas or credibility packing its ranks with low grade supporters of little merit who are themselves so clearly betrayed by the clique leading, or so they would claim, and those who are trying to curry favour for a chance to climb on the gravy train.

We had such high hopes for UKIP as active campaigners and supporters of UKIP only to watch the party dragged into the gutter and exploited by a small clique for their personal gain.

Whether one reads the mainstream media or the vile behaviour of the cowardly anonymised foot soldiers who so demean the party in their efforts to defame those who seek honesty, transparency, democracy and integrity of UKIP in an effort to try to make them fit for purpose as the party that could have led Britain to Leave-The-EU – that has lost its way and its morals in an obvious defence of their personal pursuit of riches with no gutter too befouliong to stand in the way of their inept persuit of income and control.

Tories draw neck and neck with Labour as Ukip support falls

political editor

Conservative support surges to see main parties level for first time since March 2012 on 36% of the vote in Guardian/ICM pollDavid Cameron at No 10. Conservatives are convinced that as growth picks up, the polls will swing decisively to them.

The Conservatives have surged to sit alongside Labour in the polls for the first time in nearly 18 months, largely owing to a sharp fall in support for Ukip, according to the latest ICM monthly poll for the Guardian.

Labour will be alarmed that the two main parties are neck and neck despite the economy showing only tentative signs of starting to recover.

ICM’s telephone poll last month showed a strong Labour lead of seven points, but this month the Tories are benefiting from the continuing collapse in support for Ukip, down from 18% in May – just after its local election success – to 12% in June and now just 7%.

The shares of the vote are Conservatives 36% (+7 on last month), Labour 36% (no change), Liberal Democrats 13% (+1), Ukip 7% (-5), and others 8% (-2).Link to this interactive

It is the best result for the Tories in an ICM poll since they led by three points in March 2012, just before George Osborne’s mishandled budget presaged a series of other errors across the government machine.

The fall in the Ukip share may reflect the recent comparative decline in publicity for the party’s leader, Nigel Farage, and Downing Street’s persistent efforts to neutralise Ukip’s appeal by countering with a series of strong messages on immigration, welfare and a referendum on UK membership of the European Union.

It may also suggest that Ukip support is in part a protest vote exercised in relatively unimportant local elections and that this support dissipates once the protest has been registered.

Ukip is likely to argue that the drop in support has not been reflected in most other polls. At the weekend four online polls showed Ukip support in the high teens, but a new Populus poll showed Ukip on 10%.

Farage’s party will also be banking on a big resurgence of interest during the European parliament elections next June, when it will hope to come first in terms of national share of the vote.

The ICM poll findings do not appear to reflect any change in the underlying support for Labour since the party’s standing of 36% remains unchanged on last month – although party supporters may hope to dismiss it as an outlier.

By contrast, the running YouGov daily online poll shows Labour leading by about 11 points, a hardening in its ratings after an apparent softening in the previous fortnight.

The ICM poll also contains a clear warning for the chancellor: two-thirds (65%) do not believe his promise, made last week, that the deficit can be cut after the election without raising taxes.

There is a majority scepticism on this issue across the political spectrum, with 57% of people who voted Conservative in 2010 agreeing (2010 Lab, 70%; 2010 Lib Dem, 75%).

That suggests the Tories will struggle to damage Ed Miliband and Ed Balls in the next election campaign simply by warning of a Labour tax bombshell if elected.

The findings may also reflect the unwillingness of any voter to answer positively if asked a question that implies the respondent trusts a politician.

At the weekend the Lib Dem business secretary, Vince Cable, threw a new argument into the likely election tax and spending debate by saying he did not believe the last Labour government had spent too much in the run-up to the banking crash, but instead had failed to regulate banking.

Other Lib Dems, including the deputy prime minister, Nick Clegg, have persistently argued that the deficit was created by Labour overspending before 2008.

But overall, the Conservatives will be delighted with the ICM findings. Conservatives are convinced that as growth picks up over the next 12 months, the polls will swing decisively to them.

Cameron is also due to take the cabinet to a celebratory “away day” at Chequers on Thursday, where they are expected to hear political as well as government briefings before parliament goes into recess. A reshuffle in the ministerial ranks outside cabinet, which had been pencilled in for this week, now looks likely to take place in the autumn.

Conservative ministers are privately sceptical that they have drawn level with Labour yet, basing their judgment on other polls and doorstep response. They still maintain it will be very hard to win an overall Commons majority.

Ed Miliband’s brother, David, in a valedictory TV interview at the weekend, cautioned against the conventional wisdom that a hung parliament was likely after the next election. The British public may move decisively in favour of one of the main parties, he said, adding that there was still a “great danger” they might choose the Tories.

Lib Dems will be concerned at the absence of any sign in the ICM poll that their overall vote is picking up, despite the decline in Ukip support.

The findings appear to confirm the Lib Dems are no longer seen as a protest party, making it harder to win a new constituency.

Danny Alexander, the Lib Dem Treasury chief secretary, will on Tuesday publish the result of a Cabinet Office-led review into a replacement for the Trident nuclear deterrent. The ICM poll shows the public split on the issue.

Three in 10 (31%) think Trident should be replaced (rising to 45% of those who voted Tory in 2010), while an identical number (31%) think it should be slimmed down (rising to 37% among 2010 Lib Dem voters) and 30% think we should no longer have any deterrent (39% among Labour 2010 voters).

In his speech, Alexander is to back a limited replacement.

The poll also shows all three party leaders have judged the public mood correctly by rejecting the 10% increase in MPs’ pay from 2015 proposed by the parliamentary watchdog. The proposed rise would take MPs’ pay to £74,000 in 2015.

The public believe MPs should be paid a shade over £50,000 (£51,620 on average). Men are happier to pay more – at £54,000 – while women think MPs should be paid £49,000. A clear correlation between social grade and pay was revealed: those in the most affluent group, AB, suggest MPs should get £58,000, C1s suggest £55,000, C2s £46,000 and DEs £45,000. Lib Dem voters are the most generous (£61,000), as are people living in the south (£54,000).

ICM Research interviewed a random sample of 1,003 adults aged 18+ by telephone on 12-14 July 2013. Interviews were conducted across the country and the results have been weighted to the profile of all adults. ICM is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.

This seems very similar to the predictions of this blog, in that we have noted a surge in the protest vote where UKIP was ‘used’ as a dustbin for the protest voters seeking their own parties woulmodify their policies.

There has been an upsurge in apparent support for UKIP but as predicted this was little more than a dead cat bounce!

There is no sign of an actual popular uprising against the LibLabCon of which UKIP is a hanger on – The spparent surge in UKIP membership would seem to include dead, past and expired members and as UKIP boasts of a small head office staff it seems all too likely that their records are very poorly kept and deletions are long over due.

Little wonder that UKIP’s principle backer the retired professional gambler Stuart Wheeler has not only watched his fortune diminish, since selling his bettimng business, but has also finally woken up to the near total lack of competent leadership in UKIP, making it clear that firstly he did not trust them and would only donate if HE was appointed Party Treasurer a position in which he was happy to turn a blind eye to what seems to have been the criminal;ity of UKIP’s accounting procedures and the perceived trousering of upwards of £Millions by the small clique at the top.

It is not a matter of look how well UKIP has done in regaining the near 20,000 members he lost but just think how well UKIP might now be doing had they had a leader with the competence to devise strategies, tactics and a clear exit and survival strategy addressing Article #50 and taking a lead rather than seeking to sabotage efforts to petition Parliament to force a referendum debate which was achieved by Nikki Sinclaire the ex UKIP MEP who refused to remain in Nigel Farage’s racist and unpleasant EU EFD Group.

UKIP had chance after chance but as ‘chancers’ they have achieved little more than to provide the media with a useful tool to exploit using UKIP to build a whip with which the LibLabCon could be abused to create a story in default of any notable differences between tyhe main political parties.

It can not have escaped your attention and it surely has not escaped the attention of the very laziest member of the media, that in 20 years UKIP has abjectly failed to make any notabvle inroads in British domestic politics with no MPs, no Police presence with no Mayors and out of 1,700+ candidates put forward a mere 147 elected!

From this obvious failure it is clear UKIP has fallen back since the elections and has come nowhere near gaining seats in subsequent by-elections.

To some extent realising the catastrophic position of his protege party or is that ‘toy’ is now trying to make the party seem to be something other than the one man band it is and portrays itself as as he seeks to restrain Nigel Farage’s showmanship as the only regular representative of the party.

As we predicted and reported some time ago even Ms. James is not only sidelined by the party but openly attacked by some of the parasites seeking approval and income at the gift of Nigel Farage, as with the unpleasant postings made by the unreliable witness and to be frank outright liar, Annabelle Fuller.

Efforts to make the party more professional, as promised year after year by Farage, have been little more than a shambles with the abuse of power as manifest by the undemocratic and self serving determination of Farage to hand choose HIS prospective MEPs, from amongst his cronies and drinking buddies – we even have the risible specter of Farage, endlessly and stupidly presented, of Farage as the cheeky chappie in the pub and always with a drink in hand – the most crass of PR styles available that, though it brings publicity in the short term, has reflected with the serial failure of Farage and his party to achieve anything of note in efforts to reach Westminster beyond destabilising Tory voters adequate4ly to make way for Labour and what a catastrophe that is!

UKIP has thus made way for a return to the unlucky 13 years of destruction of Britain by Labour who are a party at war with itself where it is clear that short of manacle David Milliband to load him on the plane he was forced out of Britain as a clear force against the weak kneed and inept brother he has so clearly left behind! Labour, like UKIP, has no visible alternative totheir present leader whose abilities are clearly inadequate – this leaves way for the hand of their own ‘Brutus’ from amongst their inept and uninspiring leadership claque and the clique itself – In both parties, but there is no one of aptitude with leadertship skills in either party – The Tories are little better off and the LibDims are a joke.

UKIP has lost its way as it lurches along like an habitual drunk, in an ever befuddled state preaching Libertarian claims and practicing centralised authoritarian authoritarian control in a libertine and louche regimen.

UKIP would do far better if it were to spend more time planning, dervising strategy and tactics and showing just how and why Britain will be Better-Off when it Leaves-The-EU whilst trying to understand the Treaties and the importance of The Treat of Vienna and the details of Article #50 and the due process of devising an exit and survival startegy for Britain in the light of the authority of both the various Treaties and the significance of CODEX, The WTO and the like.

Saddly UKIP are unlikely to do the work essential when there is the omni present opportunity of excercising the expense account and getting a drink – as the photos and comments of Nigel Farage and his clique so readily show as they campaign to keep pubs open and smoking as a plus point on the agenda like naughty schoolboys who want to show off!

These are not politicians but self serving aspirants to ego fed incomes beyond their wildest dreams or abilities. They are clearly unfit for purpose and as Stuart Wheeler has made abundantly clear ‘not to be trusted’!

Welsh Anti Devolution, for EU Council For the Regions Compliance, might a party be formed for the majority in Wales?

.
Hi,

many will remember the ‘Just Say NO’ campaign in Wales and particularly the courage and determination of Carys Pugh and Betty Bowen, both staunch Labour supporters, which received almost zero funding save a relatively small amount from Sir Julian Hodge and such donations they were able to gain from the public. Whereas the Yes campaign received massive financial support from The Labour Part, Unions and other QUANGOs – they also received huge Ministerial assistance and help from Government grant dependent businesses and organisations.

It is also understood that huge corruption took place involving both the Labour Party and others, including changing the rules for counting some seven times, on the day of the ballo0t count and both the deliberate destruction or loss of NO votes and the stuffing of Ballot Boxes with YES votes with the result that Wales’ heritage as a proud Principality in these United Kingdoms was sold out to rule by the Council For the Regions, an EU QUANGO CLICK HERE, on a par with the other regions of The EU such as The Eastern Region, The South West Regions, The West Midlands Region and similar in The UK.

There is little or no doubt that the Devolution of Wales was rigged and not only was it against t6he wishes of the majority it was founded on the lies of such dishonest and in my opinion corrupt and self serving individuals as Tony Blair, Ron Davis, Peter Haine, Derek Gregory and the like.

We have noted for several years that Devolution has been founded largely on lies and has done much harm to Wales and its peoples with no clear benefit being shown, save scams bribes and expenses for those on the gravy train!

We need more parasitic politicians with all the enthusiasm one should welcome other cancerous growths!

Notably John Bufton has muttered a little about his opposition to Devolution but took no notable role in campaigning against it as at that time he clearly had his own ambitions and since becoming a UKIP MEP he has acted in concert with the racism and pusillanimity of UKIP’s other MEPs as acquiescent members of the extremist Pan EU EFD Group.

Might it be that now that John Bufton has announced his intention not to stand again as an MEP for UKIP he is no longer forced to cow tow to Nigel Farage to ensure his selection as a candidate, unlike all others in Farage’s Party where his word is final and any policy or rule can be changed by him without any consultation (some Libertarian!) to ensure the placement of his personal clique of drinking chums and beholden supporters – Has John Bufton developed a back bone?

We shall see!

UKIP MEP John Bufton’s Welsh anti-devolution party idea

John Bufton John Bufton announced in May that he was standing down as an MEP next year

Related Stories

Wales’ UKIP MEP has floated the idea of an anti-devolution party after disagreeing with his leader Nigel Farage over the Welsh assembly.

John Bufton, who is standing down as an MEP next year, said Mr Farage was “relaxed” about devolution but he was “totally opposed” to it.

Mr Bufton said many in Wales objected to the assembly and perhaps there should be a party to represent them.

He told BBC Radio Wales the UK needed fewer politicians, not more of them.

Mr Bufton, a former Powys county councillor, pledged his loyalty to UKIP until he stepped down as an MEP but refused to say whether he would support the party in the long term.

“Start Quote

There are a lot of people out there in Wales who are still very much opposed to the Welsh assembly and there needs to be, perhaps, a party to represent them”

John Bufton MEP UKIP, Wales

Speaking on Sunday Supplement on BBC Radio Wales, he said UKIP’s current policy was to abolish assembly members and allow MPs to come “back to Wales then one week a month to do the work of the assembly”.

“I’m one of the old guard I’ve always been opposed to the assembly and still am,” Mr Bufton said.

“What Nigel Farage, our leader, has come out and said in an interview in the last few days is that he’s relaxed about devolution, policing and new fiscal powers. Well, I’m totally opposed to that.

“I personally believe that we don’t need to be doing this. We need to be different from the other parties. We’re basically going to be the same as those so there’ll be no difference at all.”

‘It’s madness’ He added: “There are a lot of people out there in Wales who are still very much opposed to the Welsh assembly and there needs to be, perhaps, a party to represent them.

“It’s up to the members and the leadership to decide which way we go with this, but if they take Nigel’s lead on this then there will be a vacuum, there will be a vacancy and my view is if we have this vacancy there is room for another party.

“It’s still very early to say which way things are happening in Wales and what I decide to do, but people who know me well have known that I’ve campaigned against the assembly from day one and I believe we still have to have an opposition.

“It’s madness to turn around and throw the towel in and say: ‘Yes, let them get on with it.'”

Mr Bufton fears the Welsh assembly will ultimately lead to Wales’ independence and the break-up of the UK.

He is also opposed to an English parliament.

“We’ve had a debate in the party for some time regarding an English parliament, again this is Plaid Cymru’s policy, and I am again opposed to that,” he said.

“I believe the taxpayer is paying far too much money for politicians. We need a lot less and not a lot more and if we have and English parliament as well that’s another tier of politicians.”

Mr Bufton said he intended to complete his term as a UKIP MEP, adding that “what happens in the future is another matter”.

Mr Farage said in the interview with Wales Online: “I am relaxed about devolution. I am relaxed about a federal future for the UK.”

Allegations of Rape & Brutal Assault and apparent failure of UKIP leadership to act responsibly at UKIP Conference!!

.
Hi,for reasons which I hope you apopreciate, I make no comment on this article as I am dependent on the reliability of the legal team at The Telegraph for having checked the story in detail.

A story I was first informed of by a single source some time ago and advised that without greater corroboration I was unwilling to publish the allegations and advised that IF my source was in contact with the young woman he should advise her to contact the police as soon as possible.

I did not believe, in view of the indisputable corruption of UKIP and its all too frequent misogynistic behaviour, as widely reported, that she stood any chance of justice via UKIP’s leadership structure.

It would seem I was correct as any responsible organisation would have immediately reported the matter to the police and ‘held the hand’ of the young woman in question as she proceded with obtaining justice for her allegations. Clearly a partisan barrister in a senior position in the party is no suitable investigator – his opinion of how to act has clearly been shown to be ‘wanting’ as has that of the press officer and spin doctor for UKIP Gawain Towler.

This did NOT reflect on UKIP until it saw fit to hold an amateur inquiry, seemingly failing to give sound advice and clear support to the young woman. One must assume this was to effect a cover up of some sort.

Many will remember the implausible claims of Annabelle Fuller when she stole a mobile phone, House of Commons Press Pas & correspondence from the Tory MP Andrew Budgen whilst drunk at his flat in the early hours CLICK HERE

As I have said, I will make no comment on the veracity of the allegations, nor the young woman concerned but am reliant on The Telegraph’s legal team for the report that follows:

Ukip: Probe ordered into ‘sex attack’ at party conference

Woman activist is alleged to have been raped at Ukip conference but no one told the police.

The attack is alleged to have taken place at the Crowne Plaza hotel where Ukip’s annual conference was held.

Nick Clegg has been widely criticised for the Liberal Democrats’ lacklustre response to allegations of misconduct made against his party’s former chief executive, Lord Rennard.

Mandrake hears that Nigel Farage is, however, keeping quiet about a sex scandal in the UK Independence Party that is potentially even more serious.

A young Ukip activist claims that she was raped at its last conference by a senior figure in in the Eurosceptic party’s youth wing after a reception at which her drink was spiked with an unknown substance.

When the woman informed senior Ukip officials of what had happened to her, the party did not inform police but carried out an internal “investigation” which resulted in no action being taken against her alleged attacker. The victim has left the party in disgust.

“I don’t know which was worse,” she says. “Waking up the next morning and not being able to see properly or blood running down my face.”

The attack is alleged to have taken place at the Crowne Plaza hotel, in Birmingham, where Ukip’s annual conference was held last September.

It is claimed that at a reception at the hotel hosted by the political website Guido Fawkes, which was attended by some of the party’s senior members, the woman’s drink was tampered with. The attack is alleged to have taken place later that night at a room at the hotel.

“Obviously, I am aware of this story and have known about it for some time,” says Gawain Towler, Ukip’s spokesman. “I was one of the first people to be told about it because I was at the party.”

He says: “When the allegation came to us, we were appalled, and took it extremely seriously. We asked our party secretary, Michael Greaves, who is a former Crown Prosecutor and member of the International Criminal Court to look into it.

“He concluded that the victim was unreliable. We would have been perfectly happy if if she had gone to the police, but she didn’t.”

Privately, a Ukip official has made a series of allegations about the accuser, discrediting her account.

Friends of the alleged victim say she did not want to subject herself to the “trauma” of a police investigation and potential court case.

Earlier this year, the alleged attacker is said to have been confronted about the allegations in public by Alexandra Swann, 24, a former deputy chairman of the Conservatives’ youth wing who defected to Ukip.

Hi,

Candidate Selection rules

Re the current Falkirk fight of wannabee Labour MPs for a very safe seat I reproduce below part of the Labour party rule book on selection of candidates:

4. The NEC shall issue procedural guidelines on issues
relating to membership from time to time, including
a code of conduct on membership recruitment. In
particular, the NEC wishes to highlight the following
areas of potential abuse of membership rules:
A. It is an abuse of party rules for one individual or
faction to ‘buy’ party membership for other
individuals or groups of individuals who would
otherwise be unwilling to pay their own
subscriptions.
B. It is an abuse of party rules for an individual or
faction to offer reduced-rate membership to
people they know to be ineligible for that
category of membership.
C. It is an abuse of party rules for individuals or
factions to recruit members who do not live at
the claimed addresses in an attempt to
manipulate local party meetings or the outcome
of party ballots.
D. It is a requirement of party rules for members,
where eligible, to register to vote at the address
for which they claim membership. It is an abuse
of this rule to allow those who are not willing to
register to vote for the party to become
members of it.
E. It shall be regarded as an act grossly detrimental
to the party to withhold membership payments
collected locally.
F. Party officers and members should be aware
that involvementin such abuses shall be
considered as behaviour likely to bring the party
into disrepute and prima facie evidence of such
behaviour may lead to disciplinary action leading
to expulsion under the constitutional rules of the
party.

Labour is a proper political party with properly framed and enforced rules. That is what the current Falkirk affair is showing and Milliband clearly intends to stick to the rulebook. Look at what happened in EUKIP where Farage and Gill waived  such rules to allow Andreasen’s UKIP candidacy. She is now of course a Tory. I doubt the Tories will be so quick to waive their rules in her favour.

Clause A: Andreasen was not a member of UKIP when selected. Gill claimed she was an ‘associate’ member. There was no such membership category in the UKIP constitution

Clause C: Andreasen was living in Barcelona. A UK accommodation address was found for her. She still I believe lives in Barcelona

Clause F: Clearly Farage and Gill would have had to face disciplinary action under Red Ed’s Labour rules which are no different from LibDem or Tory candidate selection rules.

But Farage and Gill faced no sanction from UKIP’s suppine NEC. Why not?

Well you see UKIP is not a proper political party with enforceable rules. It is a Nigel Farage cult in which rules are waived or applied at the cult leader’s whim. The UKIP NEC are  enslaved held by the leader’s power of patronage for getting on MEP slates. Getting elected an MEP is worth a million pounds over the 5 year term. That’s a lot of patronage way beyond anything the wannabee MEPs could earn in any other area. So the word on the NEC is Yes Nigel, No Nigel, Three bags full Nigel! I know. I have been there I watched it happen and I have got the tee shirt.

Farage also blatantly interfered with the election in 2009 of his short term successor as leader on national TV, the Andrew Neil show something no leader of LibLabCon would ever do. He described Pearson as ‘head and shoulders above all the other candidates’. He was such an outstanding candidate that on a later episode of the AN show Pearson admitted he did not know what was in the UKIP General Election manifesto. Scarcely surprising then UKIP bombed in the General Election and NF came a poor third to Speaker Bercow and an Independent in his personally chosen target seat, Buckingham. Pearson then stood down. He had merely been keeping the seat warm for Nigel. Following Pearson’s abject performance anyone, even Nigel would be an improvement!

UKIP can therefore never succeed as a political force in the UK capable of delivering its members out of the clutches of the EU. It needs to recruit serious intelligent people, ditch Farage and his supporting Cabal and learn that you have to stick to your party rules otherwise you just act as fertile ground for the Tory moles as Anderson and Bannerman both Farage protegies are now so eloquently proving. The media are now having a field day at UKIP’s expense and its going to get a whole lot worse for UKIP.

Befouled and corrupted UKIP has no role to play in its present form in British politics their USP was a promise to be different and clearly they fell short of this and have become nothing more than the grubbiest of self interested politicians.

That the media fail to do their duty and expose the facts about UKIP is largely due to the dishonesty and corruption of the litigious nature of the party, I believe, it is easier for media lawyers to prevent stories exposing the facts than defend against dishonest claims and denials by UKIP!

Hi,

A Lesson to learn on CODEX & increasing insignificance of The EU

Increasingly it is becoming obvious that the EUropean Union scam is coming unravelled with the EUro clearly over valued and only sustainable with continued subsidies and the near certainty that Greece, Spain, Portugal and probably Eire & Italy will have to drop out or face effective bankruptcy leading to reaching a Independent Voluntary Agreements that Gertmany will run and manage their economies and dictate austerity and policy through what ever dishonest front is decided on to hide the fact that they are no longer Countries but just puppet adfministrations, even more than Britain which was clearly asset6 stripped by the 13 unlucky years of management by the economically illiterate Gordon Brown & the posing of Alistair Darling.

It has been clear that the EU lacks clout on the world stage, hence Britain would be far Better Off Out of the EU negotiating trade direct with our markets and working within the framework of the more significant WTO and CODEX itself, to comply with the global economic rules directs as they come into force – the rules that the failed EU scam are forced to follow themselves!

The following three articles by Dr. Richard North put more flesh on the bones of this scenario and put the place of the EU and the foolish posturings of David Cameron, Ed Milliband, Nick Clegg and the amateur hour populist antics of the Farage cult in perspective.

David Cameron says our place is at the “top table” in order to pursue our national interest, and that includes the EU.

“The fact is”, he adds, “that it is international institutions, and in them, that many of the rules of the game are set on trade, tax and regulation”. “When a country like ours is affected profoundly by those rules, I want us to have a say on them”.

But, says Bjorn Knudtsen, Chairman of the Fish and Fisheries Product Committee, when it comes to international rules on food, to ensure public safety and fair trading, the UN body Codex Alimentarius, is the “top table”.

As we described in an earlier piece, Codex is one of “three sisters” of international standard setting organisations recognised by the World Trade Organisation (WTO) “Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Agreement”, which together formulate global rules to protect human, animal and plant life or health.

Stopping off on Bristol to hear his wife deliver a conference on public health, Mr Knudtsen was on his way from Norway to Rome, to attend the annual Codex executive committee (pictured above, centre).

As one of the regional heads of his country’s Food Safety Agency, and the a Codex committee chairman, he agreed to talk to us about the vital role of Codex, its relationship with the EU and with Norway and the EEA, and its task in making the rules that govern international trade.

What makes this particularly relevant is the ongoing controversy about the so-called fax law and Mr Cameron’s claim that – like Norway – we would be governed “by fax” from Brussels if the UK quits the EU.

As Mr Knudtsen pointed out, though, Norway – at least in his area of speciality – is not governed in this way, even though, paradoxically, most of the law covering fish and fisheries products does come from Brussels.

The paradox is explained by the way Codex works. Mr Knudtsen’s committee is 170-strong, with 50-60 countries most interested in seafood. The committee was established in 1963 and, with the active participation of the members, formulate the rules which the WTO accepts as the basis for trade.

Increasingly, member states and trading blocs – such as the EU – are adopting Codex standards as the basis for their own regulations, and are gradually undergoing a process where existing regulations are being changed so that they match Codex standards.

Thus, we have a process where standards are generated by member states working with this international body, for adoption by Codex. Often the EU (as indeed are other trading blocs) promotes their regulations, trying to get them accepted as the Codex standard, but the dominant driver is the science. This determines the standards necessary to protect public health and ensure fair trading practice.

Says Mr Knudtsen, a draft regulation may take 6-8 years to go through the system until it is finally approved, usually by consensus. Although there is a complex voting system, votes are usually avoided as being divisive. If there is not complete agreement, the preference is to rework the draft until all parties do agree. And, at any stage, a member state can veto a provision, through an informal process or, formally, by calling for a vote.

When it comes to Norway, trade in fish and fisheries products is a vital national interest, with 95 percent of products, worth €3 billion annually, being exported. And as an exporting country, says Knudtsen – like other major exporters – strict regulatory standards are a necessary and acceptable price to pay for what he terms “certainty”.

Companies preparing a product for export will not know from the outset the destination of any particular batch. Therefore, they want to be able to produce to a generic standard which will be accepted in any and every country to which the product might be despatched. They don’t want to be producing different batches to different standards.

But when it comes to framing those rules, Norway is fully involved right from the outset. It even pays approximately £250,000 a year to host the Codex fisheries committee. That gives Norway no specific advantage, Knudtsen says, but he agrees that it gives them what might be called “situational awareness” – an early and complete insight into what is going through the system.

Once the Codex standard is agreed, a hierarchy is created. Knudtsen openly admits – without the least hesitation – that Codex, and international bodies like it, form part of world government. Global trade requires global rules, and they produce them, handing them back to member nations and trading blocks such the EU and NAFTA, as well as the Asian blocs.

With the EU though, it also deals with the EEA, of which Norway is a member. We thus have a situation where the EU takes the Codex standards and in turn uses them as the basis of its own rules for its members and the additional EEA members.

At no stage, therefore, can it be said that Norway is simply the passive receiver of rules from Brussels. His country, says Knudtsen, has been involved at every step of the process from inception to the final formulation of the rules. Brussels then adds the EEA “packaging”, before passing it on, but the substantive issues have been agreed long before the standard formally reaches the EU. In no way, and at no time, does Norway ever feel that the rules have been imposed on it.

In Part II, we will continue this report, and look especially at the relationship between the UK and Codex.

Be in no doubt that I seek to Leave-The-EU and therefore you may well feel my personal Patriotism may influence my various blogs – but when we see scoundrels, charming and affable as they may be to gain the populist vote of the ill informed , like Nigel Farage and his cult, who make grandiose speeches and childish insults to gain personal publicity one realises that neither he nor any aspect of The EU represent the values and interests or the British concepts of ethics, morality and the codex of British law and justice, which were the greatest gift Britain gave, spread and imposed around the world in the last 500 years.

Clearly we should Leave-The-EU and distance ourselves from the likes of both the EU and the spiv and scam style of its leading lights like Farage.

Many will be aware that Nigel Farage spoke out boldly promising his party would NOT practice nepotism and then he was exposed employing his wife for £30K a year when even his constituency office was unaware that he she did any ‘work’ for UKIP!

We noted he was not alone with Godfrey Bloom renting familky premises on the public purse and employing members of his staff. Graham Booth seeking to place a relation in position to take over his post as MEP when he retired and need I continue?

Then we note the outrage of Farage in denouncing EU incomes and income tax and the use of tax havens when he himself has proven overseas bank accounts which my blogs have identified years ago, in both Belgium and The Isle of Man – a trail of hypocricy recently picked up on by the media – though very late in the day and hardly ‘news‘.

See: CLICK HERE for further details and there are many other examples of dishonesty, corruption and hypocrixy in Farage’s cult and its claque if you search my blogs or that of ‘Junius’.

Not one single solitary consequential fact published on any of my political blogs has EVER been shown to be materially inaccurate or misleading – not a single challenge of a substantial fact published has EVER been challenged or shown to be wrong. A measure of just how cowardly and vile UKIP under its present leadership is and how clearly they are totally unfit for any position of authority are the lies and efforts to silence and discredit me to try to suppress the facts and the truth I publish about the leadership of UKIP and its parasites – published in an effort to clean up the party and make it fit for purpose as a party individuals of standing, ethics and morality might wish to endorse rather than a money spinner for a clique of self serving scoundrels!
