Hi,

Ukip’s Suzanne Evans: ‘It’s Best Not To Mention Nigel Farage’ During Anti-EU Campaigning

Posted: 27/02/2016 12:54 GMT Updated: 4 hours ago
SUZANNE EVANS

Oft-sacked Ukipper Suzanne Evans today praised a book which claims “it’s best not to mention” Nigel Farage when out campaigning to leave the European Union.

Ms Evans told a fringe event at the party’s Spring conference in Llandudno, North Wales, that the Ukip leader was as mistrusted over the EU issue as former Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Referencing a book called “How Not To Talk About Europe” produced by think-tank British Future, the former party Deputy Chairman – who was sacked from the role earlier this week – stressed she was merely sharing “fact-based research” with those present.

Ms Evans offered to send audience members an electronic copy of the book, as well as selling copies at the event organised by Vote Leave – a rival group to the Farage-backed Grassroots Out organisation.

Both are vying for designation as the official Leave group ahead of the June 23 EU referendum.

Sitting on a platform with Ukip’s sole MP Douglas Carswell, she said: “[The book’s] poll found that the two least trusted voices on Europe are Tony Blair, which isn’t surprising, and also Nigel Farage.

“You might not like it, and I don’t like it either, but that is what the book says. They suggest you don’t put Ukip branding on campaign materials.”

Ms Evans added: “They say really even if you love Nigel Farage and you love Ukip, it’s best not mention it unless somebody else mentions it instead.”

Ms Evans went on to quote conclusions from the book which suggested campaigning solely on immigration in the EU referendum would not deliver victory for the Leave side.

The prominence that the issue of immigration should have in the Leave campaign is one of the main differences between Vote Leave – backed by Mr Carswell and Ms Evans – and Grassroots Out – supported by Mr Farage.

Ms Evans said there was a “purple ceiling” of around 15 to 20 per cent of the public who could be convinced to leave the EU purely over immigration concerns.

She said: “Outside of our particular bubble, what are the arguments that sway people? These are the people that we need to get hold of, it’s no good just preaching to the converted, how do we get on board those people who are yet to be convinced?

She added: “This book suggests that those people who are concerned about immigration have already mind their mind up, they are going to vote to leave.”

Ms Evans also cited claims in the book that the presence of the Ukip logo on campaign tools could turn people off from the Eurosceptic cause.

She said: “Ukip campaigners were handing out these bags as it was a great idea, but even people that wanted to leave the EU wouldn’t take the bags as they had Ukip on it.

“Now you might think that’s daft, but would you take a bag that had a Tory logo on it?”

Ms Evans was anointed by Mr Farage to succeed him as Ukip leader when he stood down following his failure to win a seat at last year’s General Election.

However, Mr Farage withdrew his resignation three days later, before Ms Evans could be officially installed as his successor.

She was subsequently stripped of her policy development role, and overlooked as Ukip’s candidate for Mayor of London ahead of the election in May.

Hi,

in 22 years the Ukip cult has delivered virtually nothing towards getting Britain out of the EU – it was Jimmy Goldsmith and his £29Million intervention with his political party that secured Britain’s position outside the EUro.
Nigel Farage’s total failure of leadership led Ukip to obsucurity with absolutely no effort made to oppose the imposition of the EU’s new constitution in the form of the Lisbon Treaty.
Nigel Farage and his clique firmly rejected any efforts to hold a responsible petition other than to swindle funds out of the EU and donors, which was never accounted as they gathered funding and new leads for membership and begging letters under the malign guidance of David Lott, Nigel Farage & Mark Croucher.
Nigel Farage took an active role in trying to sabotage the actual petition which gained us all the debate in Parliament which resulted in David Cameron’s promise to deliver an IN/OUT Referendum on EU membership, which was achieved by the 250,000 signatures obtained by Nikki Sinclaire’s  cross party campaign, which was delivered to Downing Street.

DOWNING St 08-09-11 01 Getty Image
Ukip had so lost the leading role in the battle to liberate these United Kingdoms from vassal status in the EU that even todate they still, after 22 years have absolutely no responsible costed ethical EU eXit and survival strategy relative to the EU – Being rude to EU officials is no substitute for hard work and has made Ukip the derided clowns of EU politics, the comic relief sector, with their childish stunts and posturing without any gravitas or achievements.

Ukip has shown it is willing top prostitute itself to the lowest common denominator to try to pick up votes, pandering to the racism and xenophobia present in between 10 and 20% of the population of any major Country the very same sector tapped into by Oswald Moseley and Adolf Hitler before him – botjh, like Nigel Farage presented as the man of the year, in their respective times!

There is little doubt that Nigel Farage in his incompetence indubitably knows how to make enemies and has never won a domestic election having stood 8 times for Parliament and like General DeGaule repeatedly threatening to resign and abandon his cult followers if they do not bend to his will and his fiddling of internal selections, elections, policy, appointments and obfuscation of Ukip accounts!

That Ukip has had the philipe of the collapse of the BNP at just the right time for Ukip to pick up their votes, even so Nigel Farage’s utter incompetence as a leader ensured they lost a seat in Westminster rather than gain them at the General Election! Ukip had so crassly misunderstood British politics that despite obtaining almost 4 million votes they only had ONE MP elected, an ex-Tory with a personal following and policies at loggerheads with Farage and his cult.

Meanwhile by reading the UK electoral methods the SNP with a fraction of the votes ensured they had almost 50 MPs elected – clearly the SNP had the more competent leadership as there is no denying the aim was to have MPs elected. a task at which Nigel Farage totally failed his Ukip cult where the SNP were brilliantly led.
It can nor be denied that Nigel Farage is very much a ‘Marmite’ personality with easily as many reviling or at least holding him in contempt as there are his fan club who support the Ukip cult.
For Nigel Farage to have any role in the referendum is the most direct single step to ensuring the YES vote will win and we will be locked in as a vassal state of the EU for another generation or until the EU experiment collapses, whichever is the sooner. Nigel Farage and his cult followers in Ukip have shown all too clearly their lack of gravitas, their lack of leadership, their lack of political common sense and their divisive competence!

If the EU Referendum comes up and Nigel Farage’s name is put forward – IF you have any wish to Leave_The_EU

EU Referendum: a turning point to defeat

Saturday 6 June 2015

000a Telegraph-006 lead.jpg
A day after we see a report that Blair is the least trusted figure in the EU debate, with Farage the second most distrusted figure, up pops the Ukip leader telling us he is going to lead the “out” campaign.
So well prepared is the man, though, that he doesn’t even seem to have realised that this is going to be a “yes-no” campaign and that he wants to be leading the “no” side.

Displaying the same arrogance as other wannabes, he also fails to realise that the lead organisation is not going to self-nominate. The leads on both sides are for the Electoral Commission to designate – and that is not going to happen until after the Referendum Bill has become law.

The rather strange thing is that this is not exactly a secret. It has been a facet of all recent referendums, and is going to be a crucial part of this one, with a very substantial dowry – worth several millions – and other privileges awarded to the designated organisations.

But if Farage is even aware of this, he has given no sign of it, planning to make a speech today to his own activists, after claiming: “We are going to take the lead, we are going to get cracking”.

Then says Farage: “We will be launching a massive series of public events and meetings all over the country starting in September. These will be public meetings. They will be live web streamed”. Then, he adds: “We are going to be busy, delivering leaflets through the doors by the million. We are not prepared to stand around and wait”.

What is worrying the man – and he’s not alone in this – is prominent campaigners who want to wait to see the result of Mr Cameron’s renegotiation before they make a move. In response, he says: ” The No campaign needs to get itself moving. All this nonsense from very snobby Tories that we should not dominate the campaign and I should go on holiday for six months – forget it!”

Nevertheless, while expecting to be at the forefront, Farage is saying that “we will open our arms and be all embracing and welcome everybody”. We will “reach out broadly across Eurosceptic community and across communities in this country”, he says.

Bearing in mind that Ukip only represents eight percent of the total electorate, if it is to stand a chance of winning the lead designation, it will have to attract the support of others, yet there are no indications as yet of which other groups are prepared to throw in their lot with the party.

There are some indications that there may be at least one more and possibly two competitive bidders for the designation, with the anti-EU movement totally fragmented. This raises the spectre of the Electoral Commission refusing to designate a “no” lead, leaving the groups to fight it out between themselves, without the financial support or any official status.

Despite this, Farage is making it clear that he refuses to be treated as “the naughty boy of British politics, being told to go and behave and stay out of the way”. He says: “That simply isn’t going to happen”.

“It is time”, Farage says, “for those across the political spectrum, particularly in the Conservative Party, to put their cards on the table. No more endless waiting, political hand-wringing or excuses. The campaign must start now”.

He says he is prepared to work with anyone and everyone who is willing to help us win this referendum and get Britain out of the European Union. But, he adds, “Those who want to help rather than harm our campaign need to stop wasting time, get off the fence and get on with helping us get our country back. There is not a minute to lose”.

All this, however, is going to cause more than a little dismay in certain quarters. Ukip, as a party, is demonstrably unprepared to fight an effective referendum campaign. Under a leader who has toxified the debate and whose tactical acumen has halved his party’s Westminster representation at the general election, few outsiders any confidence that Ukip’s intervention is going to help the cause.

Certainly, it is far too early to start active high-level active campaigning, and especially as so many of the strategic issues have yet to be resolved.

Thus, when it comes to writing the history of this campaign, I suspect that this week will mark another of those turning points which led us down the route to defeat. And future historians may well remark at the determination of so many parties on the “no” side, not only to repeat the mistakes of the 1975 campaign, but to invent a few more.

Whatever else, those historians will be wondering how it was that people apparently so committed to leaving the EU we so determined to do everything they could to remain members.

They only other thing they may ponder at is why there was, in fact, any need for a “yes” campaign, when the “noes” were so determined to lose all by themselves.

Hi,

Fortunately Christopher Booker Seems To Have Recovered From His Recent Senior Moment, when he seemed willing to put our Referendum in jeopardy espousing we should vote for the Ukip Cult and went all gooey over that other enemy within Dan Hannan!

One has to worry at such a lapse of good sense by someone who was so clearly up to speed on EU matters in the past and co-authored the definitive book on The EU ‘The Great Deception’ there was a moment when one wondered just how easily Christopher Booker had been deceived by the lies and showmanship of Nigel Farage and his lack of any vestige of a responsible workable EU eXit and survival strategy for Britain, despite 22 years of claiming to wish to Leave_The_EU.

Ever the entertainer and showy salesman I guess Nigel Farage’s style and the bully boy tactics of the pond life that are his claque leading the Ukip Cult forward as clearly some are beguilled by it, it would seem Booker included! Little wonder that the electorate, having voted 2 to one to keep First Past The Post (FPTP), the Farage cult appreciating that with approaching 4 Million votes they have reached their zenith and without a change in electoral methods they will never break through the glass ceiling their odious behaviour has created.

As for the Dan Hannan approach we must be minded that all too often we are cautioned of the enemy within, and it is of course our own elected servants who have so unfailingly betrayed us for their own greater glory and a broader stage on which they can strut their vanity and nurture their expenses – it is these very politicians who have landed us as a vassal region in the supra national EU Empirate with its over blown, over paid and unelected armies of bureaucrats.

All too often such as Dan Hannan in persuit of their incomes and their cosy relationships have acted as Judas Goats leading us like lambs to the slaughter!

It is clear that neither Nigel Farage nor Dan Hannan have much of a clue as to how the EU functions having both failed to have any kind of responsible workable or plausible EU eXit and survival strategy and seem not to even understand Article 50 let alone the fast track version in Article 48!

Thaty is of course to give Dan Hannan & Nigel Farage the benefit of the doubt that they do not understand the EU nor either Article 48 or 50, there is a more sinister consideration and that is that they do understand and are duplicitously acting as Judas Goats – let us hope it is stupidity rather than outright dishonesty.

Either way it is increasingly clear that if such individuals are associated with the EU Referendum or if it falls under the control of the crano rectally retentive and self serving egos of the Westminster Bubble and their crassly ill informed media luvvies we can count on the EUroSceptic cause being lost and our status as a vassal of this failing behemoth being locked in until it finalluy collapses into pennuary and the wars of disassociation as member states squabble and then fight to retain the assets they can grab.

That said it is a relief to see Christopher Booker would seem to have overcome his senior moment and is back on track – though I readily understand the concept of mistakes made in desperation, the ‘old man in a hurry’ syndrome!

Booker: united to keep us in the EU

Sunday 24 May 2015

000a Booker-024.jpg

In this week’s column, Booker picks up on CBI president Mike Rake, and this thoroughly disreputable bank, Barclays, the very firm of which Rake is deputy chairman. It is, is facing a record-breaking fine of £1.5 billion for its fiddling of exchange rates, yet Rake feels he is entitled to tell us how we should be governed.

Booker notes that the CBI and the BBC have been shamelessly in cahoots over their support for Britain’s membership of the EU ever since the days when they were propagandising together for Britain to join the euro.

Almost daily they told us how, unless we joined the single currency, we were doomed. Foreign firms would pull out of Britain en masse. And of course they are both playing exactly the same game today, as David Cameron launches his campaign to negotiate for Britain a “new relationship” with the EU.

The one thing the Europhiles are absolutely desperate to keep out of the debate is the possibility that, even if we did leave the EU, we could continue trading with the single market just as we do now by remaining within the European Economic Area (as was superbly illustrated by the way Jim Naughtie impatiently tried to stop Owen Paterson making precisely this point yesterday morning).

The only argument we ever hear is that, if we left the EU, our trade with Europe would collapse: much as we shall hear from Mr Cameron when he returns from his “negotiations” with no more than a few little fig-leaves, to persuade us all to vote “yes” for staying in.

One considerable danger, however, is that the dressing-up of these “fig-leaves” will be so intense that a gullible media will fall for it, and present the Cameron deal as if it was something substantial, just like the treaty that he supposedly vetoed.

But the chief reason why this shabbily deceitful argument is being allowed to dominate the debate, says Booker, is the Eurosceptics’ inability to unite in explaining that there is only one possible route whereby the EU can be made to give Britain that “new relationship” Mr Cameron talks of.

Certainly, the likes of Rake are making a big thing about us not having a “credible alternative future to EU membership”, only to have Ruth Lea pop up with her utterly mad idea that the post-exit UK could rely on WTO rules, by which – she says – many countries, “including China, very successfully conduct much of their trade”.

I wouldn’t mind so much if this arrogant woman took the time out to keep herself informed but, as we pointed out, China has a substantial number of agreements with the EU, which transcend WTO rules and are vital for the conduct of trade. Not least is the raft of Mutual Recognition Agreements on conformity assessment, without which the flow of goods would be seriously hampered.

Fortunately – for the moment – many of the “inners” seem as ignorant as to the realities of international trade as is Ruth Lea, but if any of them had to wit to call her out, Mike Rake’s claim about the absence of a “credible alternative future to EU membership” would certainly stand if all we had to rely on was this woman’s dogma.

For us, though, this is a real problem, where our supposed allies are all over the place, doing – as Autonomous Mind asserts, more harm than good. Nevertheless, Booker wants Cameron to do the one thing he says he cannot agree to: by using Article 50 of the treaty to say that we wish to join Norway and others outside the EU, but still in the Single Market.

Booker also asserts that his bluff is finally being called, although that is not always the case. What we are getting is the likes of Prof Mark Taylor, of Warwick University Business School – who was on the Today programme yesterday, just before Owen Paterson. He told us: “We would be worse off outside the EU because we wouldn’t have access to the Single Market”.

This, bluntly, is an outright lie, but then Taylor probably feels he has to protect his income stream. In 2013, Warwick University took €7,462,052 in EU funding (and a share in a further €54,330,432-worth of projects, amounting to €8,030,622). Thus, in that one year (the latest figures available), their coffers were swollen by over €15 million from the EU.

However, money-grubbing euroids are only part of the problem. With Ruth Lea and many others who regard themselves as the Eurosceptic “aristocracy”, strutting their stuff, we stand at risk of remaining firmly shackled to all the superstructure of this failing political project.

As we point out elsewhere, those who are serious about winning this referendum are having to fight on three fronts. We have to deal with the underhanded lies of the pro-EU camp and also the brain-capsizing ineptitude of the Ukip. But there is also the selfish, self-absorbed right-wing think tank “aristocracy” who are neither use nor ornament.

We can only win if the anti-EU movement ups its game and starts doing its homework. But there is also the danger of the campaign being hijacked by Westminster careerist campaigners who get paid either way. Against that, we will have our “credible alternative future to EU membership”, but it is pointless doing all that work if it is lost in the noise created by our own side.

Hi,
it is noteworthy that you have to be 58 years old or more to have had any say in whether these United Kingdoms should be a global trading nation making its own decisions and alliances on the world stage or whether we should be a vassal region in the ever tightening grip of the supra national Empirate of the EU, with its strutting overpaid and unelected little beaurocrats and its determined political aims of ‘Ever closer Union’.

Those of us old enough to remember that referendum can rwemind you that Enoch Powell predicted the disaster that has befallen our country and its loss of sovereignty CLICK HERE this speech made in the House of Commons received little attention in the media – unlike his speech made to a little local Conservative group which was so widely and deliberately misinterpreted by the illiteratti and branded The Rivers of Blood speech, deliberately to discredit him, in the knowledge that the largely ignorant masses would not understand the classical quotations which underpinned the meaning of his words of caution.

Whilst the oleagenous Edward Heath lied to Parliament and the British peoples as he claimed that ratifying our membership of the EU and the signing of the catastrophic Treaty of Rome would ‘lead to no essential loss of national sovereignty’ – a lie he admitted to years later proudly claiming that ‘he had lied deliberately as he believed that the British people would not have voted YES to ratify the Treaty had they known the truth’!

Even with this outright lie and dishonest letters to the main papers from the Government team the margin voting YES was tiny – a margin that would have been inadequate to change the rules in a golf club let alone surrender the ultimate sovereignty and governance to a foreign and particularly alien authority.

We see much the same thing again as the work of the only individual who has had the political and intellectual rigor to present a responsible, viable and honourable EU exit and survival strategy has been largely dismissed by the stuffed shirts and parasites looking to feed from tjhe honeypots of the Westminster bubble as these political lightweights jockey for position mindlessly seeking notoriets and expenses as they make ALL the same mistakes that were made by the No Campaign in the referendum of 05-Jun-1975.

Do YOU remember who led the NO Campaign in 1975 clearly not, because they were all squabbling over who should lead it just like now and just like now the idiots were arguing in favour of a ‘large tent’ policy unwilling to put forward the benefits of not being vassals of the union in EUrope and with no strategy or unified plan.

In 1975 the pro membership team were unified and well planned organising, as is already happening this time, the lies and distortions that so readily and dishonestly mislead the public with FUD (Fear Uncertainty & Doubt) using EUrope based companies to spread alarm about withdrawing fgrom Britain and loss of jobs when any responsible individual shows that clearly this is just propaganda and that Britain has no intention of withdrawing from the Economic Area merely repatriate its democratic rights, decision making, justice system and sovereignty with the added advantage of control over our own borders, military and airspace able to negotiate and make international agreements around the world that suit our peoples and our allies including the Commonwealth.

There is no downside risk when we Leave_The_EU and it is only the foolish, who have not thought through the details that claim we would make huge savings when we leave as in economic terms the end of our membership is clearly economically neutral, as every penny we save in EU contributions will be required to re-establish our Civil Service trained with competence and our embassy structure around the world with an established body of first class staff and negotiators as we once had.

For a fuller understanding of both the how to and the ramifications of making a responsible and organised eXit from the EU it would seem there is only one published plan of any degree of competence, and it can be read free of charge by any responsible individual with the wellbeing of these United Kingdoms at heart at CLICK HERE

You will note that even in Scotland they realise the disadvantages of the politically inept and the likelihood of the great damage they will do the NO vote, as they singled out Nigel Farage as an example! You will be minded that the Ukip cult followers have dithered between being opposed to EU membership one minute and trying to be a fully fledged political party with a plethora of policies all seemingly funded by the economic savings when we Leave_The_EU, savings that are not in any way plausible as we rebuild our own structure.

Despite the Nigel Farage cult’s opposition to EU membership over the last 22 years they have NEVER been able or competent enough to provide a responsible workable EU eXit & survival strategy for these United Kingdoms and this muddled lightweight thinking will be the very thing the pro EU lobby will exploit, using massive amounts of EU casjh, as they did during the Irish referendum on the New EU Constitution as presented in the Lisbon Treaty.

SNP’s incoherent position on staying in Europe

David Torrance
Monday 25 May 2015

We’re approaching the 40th anniversary of the last time citizens of the UK were asked about Europe.

Of course then, on 5 June 1975 to be precise, voters were consulted regarding the European Economic Community (EEC) or Common Market. Should the UK stay in, or should it get out?

It had only been a member for two-and-a-half years, joining along with the Republic of Ireland on 1 January 1973, but Harold Wilson, recently re-elected Prime Minister with a wafer-thin majority, had promised a referendum and thus duly delivered.

Cannily, Mr Wilson gave his divided Labour Party a free vote, while most Conservatives (including their then fledgling leader Margaret Thatcher) campaigned to remain in the EEC; the SNP, meanwhile, wanted out. Mr Wilson hailed his negotiations with Brussels a success and took his case to the country.

The Yes campaign comfortably emerged the victor, with England voting 68.7 to 31.3 per cent in favour, and a less enthusiastic Scotland by 58.4 to 41.6 per cent. Shetland and the Western Isles voted to leave, the only two local authority areas to do so.

One can overdo historical analogies (and I usually do), but the parallels are striking four decades later. Now it is a Conservative Prime Minister in possession of a wafer-thin majority and a party that requires a free vote to mask its divisions. And the SNP is now pro rather than anti.

Indeed so pro that Alex Salmond – now emerging as the leader of the SNP’s fundamentalist wing – recently confirmed he would campaign for a Yes vote on Europe shoulder-to-shoulder, hand-in-glove, or my favourite beloved of many an SNP press release, “in cahoots with” Tory Chancellor George Osborne.

“I share platforms with everybody,” the former First Minister told his favourite broadcaster the BBC, “except fascists and non-democrats”. Inevitably this prompted cries of “hypocrisy”, but then Mr Salmond has made a career out of ever-shifting points of unshakable principle, so in a funny sort of way he was being entirely consistent in his inconsistency.

Europe is one of those issues on which the SNP has an apparently simple position (pro) but which, on closer examination, becomes a bit of a mess. Shortly before last year’s European Parliament elections Mr Salmond, Nicola Sturgeon et al started inserting little caveats into their pronouncements, largely to the effect that the European Union wasn’t perfect, “far from it”.

But to my knowledge there’s been no attempt to explain in what way they would help make it a more perfect union. Indeed, there’s little evidence the SNP has done any serious thinking about the EU since around 1988, when it committed to “independence in Europe”, a slogan rather than a policy.

Even that didn’t make an awful lot of sense: why so alive to sovereignty within the UK but relatively relaxed when it comes to the EU?

But it goes deeper than that, for the roll call of things the SNP doesn’t like about Europe is quite long: the single currency, Common Fisheries Policy and closer fiscal integration, which the present First Minister has several times made clear she doesn’t support. Even the European Convention on Human Rights (which exists separately from the EU) has come under fire from Nationalists, chiefly its ruling against a blanket ban on voting rights for prisoners.

Then there’s the rhetoric. SNP press releases rail against the “Tory obsession with ripping Scotland and the rest of the UK out of the EU” and Scotland being “dragged out” against its will. Yet when Unionists deployed similar language to describe Scotland vis-Ã -vis the UK they were accused of being alarmist and melodramatic. Similarly, it’s difficult to argue that Scotland leaving a highly-integrated UK would somehow be hassle free but the UK exiting a much looser union would “threaten” jobs and the economy, yet that’s exactly the SNP’s position.

To guard against being ripped or dragged, meanwhile, the SNP points to its “double majority” safeguard under which every part of the UK would need to approve withdrawal for it to take effect. On one level this is a clever piece of political positioning, but on another it’s constitutionally incoherent. Perhaps the UK government should agree with the proviso that the same “double” (actually quadruple) majority apply to any future independence referendum; bamboozle the Nationalists with their own contorted logic.

The SNP also ties itself in knots when it comes to the referendum increasingly likely to be held at some point next year. Yesterday Labour finally bowed to the inevitable and made it clear its MPs would support the necessary legislation, which means virtually the only Members traipsing through the No lobby in the House of Commons will be “the 56”, and on the flimsiest possible basis; supporters of self-determination for Scotland but not, it seems, the UK.

Which isn’t to say the Prime Minister has covered himself in glory when it comes to matters European. It remains unclear what exactly it is he hopes to get out of his Wilson-style “renegotiation” with Brussels, while he’s also set himself up to fail by making freedom of movement a “red line” issue.

That said, Mr Cameron finds himself in a relatively strong position: Ukip is weak (despite having won nearly four million votes) and he has an overall majority, thus the PM’s apparently desire to hold a referendum sooner rather than later.

Last week Mr Salmond was full of sage advice derived from his experience of last year’s independence ballot, ie don’t let unpopular politicians run the show and guard against a dynamic in which it looks like “the establishment”, business or otherwise, is dictating how “the people” ought to vote.

Recently Jim Murphy, a more successful Europe Minister than he was Scottish Labour leader, also set out four clear lessons from Scotland: the need to fight like “an incumbent and an insurgent”, “passion as well as facts”, that businesses must “speak up early” (unlike in Scotland), and a realisation that no matter what the outcome, the forthcoming referendum “will not settle the European debate for a generation”.

Yesterday a YouGov poll showed what such surveys usually show in a Scottish context, that 68 per cent of Scots want to stay in the EU and 32 per cent would quite like to go, ie less Eurosceptic than England where the latter figure is usually a few points higher. Moderate opinion, meanwhile, is actually hardening in favour of the status quo, a phenomenon ironically aided by the rise of Ukip in general and Nigel Farage in particular.

Yet as the recent Scottish experience demonstrated, opinion poll-derived complacency can produce close shaves. But despite the hyperbole of tribal politics, the SNP and Conservatives are actually on much the same page on this issue, both want to remain part of a reformed Europe, and in that respect a Scottish Yes campaign led by Nicola Sturgeon can only pile up votes which make that more likely.

Hi,
I do appreciate that Douglas Denny has been consistently proven a liar, a cheat, a fantasis and undeniably corrupt having for many years acted as part of Nigel Farage’s clique of fixers helping to rig Ukip internal elections and selection processes and cloaking and defending the excesses of Nigel Farage – one of his snappy yappy unethical and unprincipled attack poodles.
However there are few who were acting for and on behalf of Nigel Farage for so long and though he may well not be prepared to publish the full facts, for fear of his own prosecution, in this effort of mitigation I do believe he goes some way to showing the personality and unsuitability of Nigel Farage who he for so long was willing to befoul Ukip and the body politic.
This letter was sent by Douglas Denny to Ukip NEC:
From: ddennyoptom@gmail.com
To: douglas.denny@btopenworld.com
Subject: Fw: Nigel and Leadership
Date: Fri, 15 May 2015
Dear REDACTED,

You probably think this email is sent out of vindictiveness. It is not. I have always been concerned with the best interests of UKIP as it is the only viable anti-EU movement in British politics.

If you ever considered my submissions at the NEC over the fifteen years I was there to have had any merit then I ask you to now consider what I have to say in a spirit of pragmatism and honest opinion.

I think (very much) you are backing the wrong horse. Nigel has had his day. He is to be thanked for taking UKIP to where it is now – but I assure you all my political instincts say he is definitely NOT the man to take it forwards into this new era where there is a referendum campaign to be fought. Now is the time he should gracefully go and look back on a golden career. To continue he will descend into acrimony and in-fighting within UKIP and ultimately be deposed, or UKIP become more and more irrelevant in British politics. The public hate in-fighting in a party and it kills it in the public mind.

What IS important is persuading the British public of the issues so they understand it is not in the interests of the country to stay in the EU.

Note: the GBP (Great British Public) have already been brainwashed over the years such that a recent poll indicates that 54% of the public want to actually stay in. That means with the don’t know’s and those that don’t vote, a referendum if carried out now would be lost.

Nigel with his aggressive shouty personality is simply not the person to put the arguments cogently and assertively and quietly with authority – without appearing to be a right wing bigot. It now needs someone different to put those arguments that the public can trust – and I mean ALL political shades of the public.

Like it or not Nigel does indeed appear to be a right wing bigot, and puts off a large percentage of the people. That is why UKIP has never shaken off the image of being BNP-lite. He did not get in to Thanet because of this very reason. (Patrick O’Flynn put his finger on it when he said Thanet has a UKIP council elected – but did not vote for Nigel as MP). Nigel puts off the ‘Left’ wing people, and more importantly – women who immediately see through him straight away as a manipulating aggressive bigot. I have had heard several women, when he has been mentioned, say he gives them the creeps.

I admire your loyalty to him but in politics one has to be flexible. Leaders have their moment, their time in the spotlight – and the trick is in knowing when they should leave. They never do themselves. They always have to be pushed. NOW is Nigel’s time to go.

Listen to Stuart Wheeler and Hugh Williams – both quiet people who observe, digest and come up with sensible opinions. They are right. Patrick O’Flynn is right too, and his public denouncement will dog Nigel constantly if Nigel tries to stay in position as leader. Also Nigel does NOT have the mandate of the membership after this GE – he LOST – so he should go back to the membership – that is only right and proper. It is improper to cling on like a limpet and is another reason to go as the public don’t like that aspect of it either. Nigel is damaged goods now. He must go or the party, though it will of course continue, will slowly whither on the vine as support drains away with a damaged leader who will attract much criticism of his leadership – it will keep coming up..

UKIP needs new blood in the leadership if it is to continue as a viable force in British politics. I am very sorry that you cannot seem to see this.

Douglas Carswell is the only man with the qualifications to carry UKIP forward successfully.

Best regards,
Douglas Denny.

.
Hi,
it seems even The Sun has seen through the fraud that is Ukip, run as a one man band by a little man of much deceit and guile but no apparent integrity
FARAGE, Nigel 94 ORCHESTRATING A DEFECTION 01
As I have warned for many years not only does Ukip, after 22 years, have absolutely no sign of an ethical, responsible and viable EU eXit strategy but its absolute leader has zero vision for his cult or our Country beyond his own self interest.
Now it seems he is prepared to sell out Ukip for his own gain by trying to force an early referendum on IN?OUT of the EU when all informed sources appreciate that due to Ukip’s abject failure to show an ethical, viable EU eXit strategy and a clear informed and responsible vision for the future and Nigel Farage’s divisive incompetence as a leader who is not so much like ‘marmite’ but so corrupt and vindictive that he and his cult have built so many enemies they are assured that in a Referendum they would ensure Britain would remain in the EU.If the campaign to Leave_The_EU is fronted or managed from within the Werstminster Bubble or by a self selected clique of London based schmoozers approved by the Notting Hill set and the Tories who were the very people who got Britain embroiled in the EU Scam – IF this happens we WILL lose the referendum

Difficult as it clearly is, as The New Statesman has made clear for the less well informed, David Cameron is glad of the help of Nigel Farage in ensuring a referendum to Leave_The_EU would be lost as he has permitted such self serving snakes in the grass – the very Judas Goats who will lead Britain to the slaughter by permitting, due to the divisive actions of Ukip, members of the political Westminster bubble to front the No Campaign with a team of some of the best schmoozers and boot lickers to be found in the bubble, as they put forward the perceived wisdoms that will enhance their job and raise money to lead the Country to the slaughter.

It seems the self nominated Mathew Elliott, Business for Britain, Tax Payers Alliance and no doubt the self congratulatory Ian Milne (who has recently written a cut and paste boilerplate article on the motor industry without even considering how the industry functions with JIT and part sourcing!).Clearly with such inept Westminster bubble sycophants the aim is to ensure the Leave_The_EU campaign loses as would have the AV argument Mathew Elliott led had he not been rescued from his own incompetence!

As it stands at the moment not only do the polls show a referendum would be lost but that support for Leave_The_EU has dwindled as membership of Ukip and the Farage cult has grown!

As I have consistently warned the higher up the tree the monkey climbs the more you see its @rse, as Farage’s fan club has grown and his cult has received more exposure they have come under increased scrutiny and their faults, failures and internal endless squabbling and divisions have become ever more apparent.

It seems increasingly l;ikely that Gerard Batten and Nigel Farage are all too likely to be facing criminal charges shortly and there is every possibility Nigel Farage’s doxy the serial liar Annabelle Fuller will face criminal charges before the election comes or shortly after – charges that are almost bound to implicate Nigel farage in the light of her tel;ephone conversations with him in the early hours from Andrew Bridgen’s apartment when, as I understand Patrick O’Flynn has attested she ‘targeted’ Andrew Bridgen a Tory MP before admitting she had deliberately stolen his Blackberry phone device, his House of Commons Pass and confidential correspondence.

The Telegraphs self serving hagiography written for Nigel Farage based on the latest book he has had written about him not withstanding – some of the media are willing to expose the truth as with The Sun, as I mentioned earlier and show here:

The SUN 15-Mar-2015 02 page 29PLEASE – ENLARGE THE ARTICLE TO READ IT
.
Whilst on the subject it is worthy of note that no one with ANY understanding of the workings of our own Governance and the checks and balances of Parliament will realise that whoever was in Government and whatever their will and majority it would not be possible let alone possible or beneficial to have a referendum in 2015 as do not forget that a Bill to enable such a referendum would have to be passed first which would require debate, passing the House of Commons stages to go to the House of Lords where it would be likely to be heatedly debated as so many members of that place are funded by the EU and obliged by oath to serve the EU not Britain! Even when (IF) passed by the HoL it would then require ratification of any changes made and a vote in the HoC before final reading in the HoL before being put forward for Royal Assent – then there would be the administrative problems of public debate followed by organising the Referendum itself!

Only an irresponsible fool would risk Britain’s entire future on an over hastey Referendum and even the 2017 target is optimistic in the light of, as Cameron puts it ‘the moving parts’, do not forget the huge body of law that must be considered and the immense areas of international compliance that must be put in place to ensure the security of our trade with the rest of the world – not just the EU.

Let us not forget when we hear light weight pundits wittering about percentages of UK law that are dictated by the EU – they have virtually no idea what percentage of the law has been enacted to be compliant with the EU as we in Britain are obliged to comply with laws and terms handed down by such bodies as the WTO, WHO, UN, CODEX and many more international bodies that enable our global trade.

To blithly quote %s of law is to totally mislead, whether deliberately, dishonestly or in stupidity is entirely another point the largest single % of our laws are Road Traffic Acts, including closures for repair etc which are short term are these to be considered in %age terms when of so little relevance – what weighting is given tyo a single Law that has upto 100 scheduled parts relative to a couple of lines of law closing a road for laying a watermain?

It is clearly irresponsible to whip up/incite the electorate with such meaningless figures!

May I commend those with a serious intent to try to campaign to Leave_The_EU to first read FleXcit access to which can be found in the >Right Sidebar< of this blog or go directly to http://www.flexcit.org This will however expose you to some indication of the complexity of the aim to Leave_The_EU – a task which clearly has been over simplified by the more self serving individuals and organisations who seek to hide the truth for their own gain – Just where is the detailed work of the likes of IEA, Business For Britain, Ukip, Tax Payers Alliance, The Tories, Nigel Farage’s Cult, Ian Milne, Mathew Elliott, David Bannerman and the army of those within the Westminster Bubble seeking their own ends at the expense of OUR Country?

Before a Referendum the No Campaign must first ensure its representative committee is selected by the peoples of Britain not just appointed/anointed by the self same political elite who caused the EU disaster in the first place – then we need Regional Organisers firastly Region by Region, then County by County, City by City, Town by Town, Village by Village and Community by Community – not like a political party or cult that has its target areas but in every community in these United Kingdoms and beyond the mallign influence of politicians Unions and the like.

For this Referendum to be of ANY value it must be seen to be fair, equally and fully funded and without the interference and corruption by either politicians or the EU, and avoiding being misled by companies, corporations and other influences that draw their instructions from foreign sources as with Nissan of Sunderland who are a French franchise or most of the water companies and power suppliers who are similarly French, nor Siemens, British Gas, HSBC etc etc who are also foreign – one should not expect Councils to take a stance as they are there to represent the people not Bertelsmans nor themselves!

We must remember that we have laws in this Country that demand that schools and educational establishments shall NOT be politicised and thus teachers and the like have no part in this referendum, beyond their own votes.

Perhaps you start to understand the complexity of holding this referendum if it is to be binding and not the very source of an ongoing running sore that the EU has been due to the duplicity of its enactment and verification to date.

Regards,

Greg_L-W..

Why Clacton Parliamentary constituency Is A Perfect Target For Ukip & Nigel Farage’s brand of cult like populism:

.
~~~~~~~~~~#########~~~~~~~~~~
.
Hi,
if you read the case study of ‘The Center for Social Justices’ on Clacton you will start to appreciate just why it is potentially the most suitable chance Ukip has of having someone (anyone) elected to Parliament – especially as Parliament becomes ever less relevant to the Governance of the once United Kingdoms – now little more than a squabbling series of regions ruled over by the malign and self serving EU.
Ukip’s cult like style requiring little serious thought in terms of policies or any issue of gravitas much beyond jumping on any populist band wagon to garner votes from a less well educated sector of the electorate who feel challenged and out manoeuvered in the job market by waves of immigrants from the EU. An older sector of the population is attractedf under a thinly veilled racist extremism they believe will provide jobs for their children and granchildren as they complete their scratch cards and dispense with books, education and in many cases even a table to eat from.
The stridency and name calling of Ukip’s leadership for publicity sake apeals to such an unthinking under belly of society sadly. A sector of society all too willing to blame immigrants or for that matter anyone else for the failures of their lives rather than admit their own short comings.
It seems there are regions, or at least sufficient of the underbelly of society together with societies failure where the unrelenting chavveery, bullying and mindless centralised control appeals even though it is clear just what Ukip’s thoughts related to debate and the electorate are:
ATKINSON, Janice 02Ukip MEP Janice Atkinson
Ad-Van EUkipNo Substitute for leadership, gravitas and policies!
NATTRASS, Mike 01Hardly A Party to Take Seriousl
 UKIP CHICKEN PROTEST 01Ukip Staff & MEPs expect to be taken seriously in Brussels
EU MEP Cartoon 03
That it is currently rumoured that the Tories will be fielding Garry Barlow a ‘celeb’ rather than a member of socie3ty of gravitas and achievement outside of entertainment and as a showman, to cash in on the populist vote of the sub economic and poorly educated majority of the electorate in Clacton is a sad reflection of the times!
Consider this extract from the case study in question:
‘Clacton is the end of the line – it is not just the last station from the west but it’s also
where a lot of troubled people end up.’
This charity worker’s blunt description of Clacton-on-Sea epitomises the ‘rise and fall’
image that grips many seaside towns. But walking through its main streets the sense of
decline is not obvious – on summer afternoons the beach is busy, cafes are trading and
children enjoy the seaside attractions. Clacton appears to be a bustling town of over
55,000 people.
51
‘It’s when you scratch below the surface that you start to see the problems Clacton has,’ said
a businesswoman who has run a bed and breakfast near the town’s pier since the 1960s.
‘What has happened to Clacton is really sad, in fact it’s disgraceful. The place was so
vibrant through the 1960s and 1970s – you would see coaches streaming in for six
months of the year. I couldn’t walk down the pavement because the place was so busy.
But there was no investment and the place has deteriorated, the Pier ward is now
considered to be a place in poverty which would have been unthinkable.’
Many see the 1980s as the point where things started to decline in Clacton. The Town and
Country Building Society closed its head office, Butlins holiday camp shut down, and the
emergence of foreign holidays meant a lot of Clacton’s tourists became day trippers. Since
then, Clacton’s greatest problem has been a stagnating economy, fuelled largely by a lack of
sustainable jobs and high levels of worklessness. As the CSJ highlighted in its
Signed on, Written
or perhaps this extract sparks your understanding of why a personality cult like Ukip is so suitable for Nigel Farage’s ambitions – especially when you consider that even the pundits seem to believe the pollsters in predicting the Tory vote will collapse and follow their local personality to return Douglas Carswell in a different guise, to suit his aims and pander to his brand of populism and showmanship – ever the drama queen but all too popular for his willingness to cock a snoot at the grown ups of politics which is such a key to Farage’s rise to infamy!
Unlike many towns that suffer economic decline, Clacton’s population has actually been
increasing – rising by 29 per cent over the period of 30 years between 1981 and 2011 to
55,347.
56
Because property prices are considerably lower than London and other parts of
Essex, Clacton has become an increasingly popular town to retire to. A recent survey found
Clacton is the fifth most popular retirement coastal town in Britain, with nearly a third of
residents claiming state pensions.
57
Compared to national figures, Clacton has a lower than
average proportion of 25-44 year olds and higher than average number of people who are
65 and over.
58
This has created a situation where a large proportion of the population does
not work, leaving the local economy struggling. Although this does include some pensioners,
43 per cent of Clacton’s 16 to 74 year olds are economically inactive.
59
A former employee of the regional tourist board said: ‘It is difficult for a town when much of
its work is seasonal, but it’s a million times worse when you have large parts of the population
that don’t work at all. A lot of people moved to Clacton from London to retire and have
priced locals out of good property, that is a source of tension.’
The local economy is further hindered by low pay. In 2010 the median household income
in Clacton was £13,648,
60
compared to the median in England and Wales of £24,242. A
major barrier to employment is a low skills base – 41 per cent of adults in Clacton have
no qualifications, which is almost double the national average for England and Wales.
‘Clacton is the end of the line – it is not just the last station from the west but it’s also
where a lot of troubled people end up.’
This charity worker’s blunt description of Clacton-on-Sea epitomises the ‘rise and fall’
image that grips many seaside towns. But walking through its main streets the sense of
decline is not obvious – on summer afternoons the beach is busy, cafes are trading and
children enjoy the seaside attractions. Clacton appears to be a bustling town of over
55,000 people.
51
‘It’s when you scratch below the surface that you start to see the problems Clacton has,’ said
a businesswoman who has run a bed and breakfast near the town’s pier since the 1960s.
‘What has happened to Clacton is really sad, in fact it’s disgraceful. The place was so
vibrant through the 1960s and 1970s – you would see coaches streaming in for six
months of the year. I couldn’t walk down the pavement because the place was so busy.
But there was no investment and the place has deteriorated, the Pier ward is now
considered to be a place in poverty which would have been unthinkable.’
Many see the 1980s as the point where things started to decline in Clacton. The Town and
Country Building Society closed its head office, Butlins holiday camp shut down, and the
emergence of foreign holidays meant a lot of Clacton’s tourists became day trippers. Since
then, Clacton’s greatest problem has been a stagnating economy, fuelled largely by a lack of
sustainable jobs and high levels of worklessness. As the CSJ highlighted in its
report earlier this year, in one neighbourhood in the Pier ward, 54 per cent of people aged
16-64 are on out-of-work benefits – the fifth highest percentage in the country. Ironically, it
was the Pier area that had previously provided so much of the town’s employment.
52
Just a few miles along the coast from Clacton is Jaywick, which according to the Indices of
Multiple Deprivation 2010 has the most deprived neighbourhood in England.
53
Some of the
people who use Clacton’s emergency food services and the soup kitchen walk from Jaywick,
a village that has suffered from isolation and deteriorating housing and now has high levels of
economic dependency. Some 35 per cent of working-age people claim some form of out-of-
work benefit
54
and 54 per cent of the population aged 16 and over have no qualifications.
55
One counsellor, who previously worked in Jaywick, said locals refer to it as ‘Beirut’ and that in
recent years ‘it has started policing itself ’. She added: ‘The problems in Jaywick seem to be a
lot more concentrated than the rest of Clacton. I’ve heard some fairly nasty stories. If someone
does something bad to you, the reaction is not to call the police but to deal with it yourself. It
almost seems like a warped version of care in the community.’
She said: ‘What we have seen with many clients is they have never worked, and some come
from families where parents haven’t worked. It is a generational issue and it is difficult when
you are trying to help someone who has never been engaged with work.
‘We have a very good success rate but it is not easy. I think the problems affecting the local
area do make it more difficult to help people. There is no industry here, no jobs and that lack
of stability makes it very complicated for people trying to move off addictions – people want
some kind of motivation.’
Councillor Peter Halliday, Leader of Tendring District Council (TDC), said: ‘It is a fact that
Clacton has changed significantly over the years and, in keeping with many other seaside
towns, its economy has altered dramatically. Like other resorts we face a number of
difficult challenges with more people choosing to go abroad for their holidays. That said,
we still get more than one million visitors a year spending almost a million pounds a day
in the district. One of our biggest challenges is to find ways to encourage them to return
so that we can make the very most of that spending potential. That is still very much a
work in progress.’
The CSJ was told that one of the biggest social problems is that the town has a high number
of houses in multiple occupation (HMOs). One official referred to it as ‘bedsit land’. The Essex
town is home to a large number of bed and breakfasts, many of which have been turned into
bedsits or other kinds of temporary accommodation. Another Pier B&B owner said: ‘Because
there aren’t as many tourists staying overnight many of us B&B owners have started letting
some of our rooms out to the council for emergency accommodation. It’s not what you want
to be known for, as it is hardly going to encourage business to your B&B, but you have to pay
the bills.’ A Government report said HMOs can have a negative social impact on areas and in
some cases lead to crime and anti-social behaviour.
63
There is a forum of frontline organisations and individuals, Clacton Central Community
First, that comes together to discuss social problems and ways of countering them. One
forum member said: ‘One of the biggest problems is HMOs – overcrowding brings so many
problems to a society. Clacton simply doesn’t have the resources or things in place to help
people. Local people are doing their best to fight this, but it’s an uphill struggle and the
council and local authority only seem to be acknowledging this now.’ Concerns have been
expressed that HMOs can be detrimental to people’s health as well as the community. A
report by the University of Essex’s School of Health and Human Sciences recently looked at
the mental health of vulnerable people living in bedsits in seaside towns and found that the
living conditions can have a significant impact on people.
64
Councillor Halliday said: ‘There is an HMO problem in Clacton, especially in the Pier ward
which is in the heart of the town centre. We are tackling this by introducing new licensing
regulations to ensure that properties must come up to a certain standard before they can
become HMO.’
Some officials in the town have said that there has been an increase of HMOs since the
Tendring Night Shelter was opened in the town around four years ago. The shelter aims to
provide support so clients can become independent. Residents, who are allowed to stay for
28 nights, are provided with support from Tendring Mental Health Support and local charities.
After clients of the shelter complete their stay, many move into HMOs and need continuing
support. The shelter has drawn in some people from other parts of Essex and further afield
who have then remained in Clacton and continued to use local services. One former shelter
resident said: ‘The night shelter is a life saver. It offers great support, but obviously it means
there will be more people moving from different areas to Clacton so they can get help.’
Tracy Cooke, from Clacton, is the co-ordinator at the local Salvation Army Community
Centre, which runs a food bank service. She said: ‘The rise in food we hand out in recent
years has been incredible and is no longer sustainable so we are having to move to another
delivery model so we can cope with the demand. I have been here for seven years and in
the first two years we would have the occasional family coming in for food on referral. But
in the last four years we have seen a major increase. Our majority client base changed from
older people to males aged 25-45 who may be staying in bedsits or are couch surfing. In the
last year we gave out 2,500 food parcels, which I could never have expected.’
A frontline service provider said: ‘The picture of life in Clacton and where the town is going
is really frightening. What has happened here is indicative of many seaside towns, but much
more could be done. We would like to see more done with the Big Society Fund. Many
people lack the basics for getting into work or training, like something as obvious as a fixed
abode. More funding to social enterprises could improve the situation.’
The TDC has said that if it was given greater powers to deliver services, the local area would
benefit. Ian Davidson, Chief Executive of TDC, said: ‘Giving greater power and accountability
to the districts could help solve the problems in our local areas. We are on the ground and we
have the local knowledge and an understanding of the local agencies. If it’s done at a local level
you can actually switch money to being less reactive and more proactive. We recently ran a
‘families with complex needs’ pilot and it worked very well because we could co-ordinate
it better with the local agencies. We would like to see this delivery model used more in the
future – it is better for the taxpayer, the community and people we want to help.’
The local authority has agreed the town ‘is not fulfilling its potential’ and that it ‘lacks a
distinctive quality tourism/visitor offer’.
65
As well as improving current facilities, the council has
said it needs to develop new ones. It has been reported in local media that a £30 million
development may be outlined soon.
66
While fresh investment in the Pier area will be widely welcomed, it is becoming clear that
seaside towns, like Clacton, can no longer afford to rely solely on tourism and will need to
build a more stable economy.
Open letter to my former ‘friend’ Nigel Farage Read:
Open letter to my former ‘friend’ Nigel Farage
Open letter to my former ‘friend’ Nigel Farage
Friendship in life and especially political life is a very strange concept. I know it is not alien to me because I, unlike you, still do have many friends, genuine friends across all parties political world.
I was even a friend to you once. On my part, a truly genuine one. I take friendships very seriously, and once I let anyone in my world I am loyal, dedicated and extremely protective of my friends.
From your side I know now it was never the case. However, you always did one thing for me – provide me with hours of laughter.
Two days ago you heard me laughing my head off. Only you have the tenacity to call me after everything that was said and done to me and offer your ‘friendship’, and money for silence, as well as thinly veiled threat not to further hurt me and even to offer UKIP me ‘media expertise’, whatever that might be.
Only you can do it three times. I was shocked that I have overestimated your intelligence thinking even Nigel is not that stupid. Maybe you did not understand it the first time when I told you that I want nothing from you, apart from my health back, which you cannot give me. That is called sarcasm and you can ask Annabelle to look it up in the dictionary for you, safe in the knowledge you really do not read the books (let alone write them). You will, even with your amount of copious drinking, remember us talking about UKIP Immigration policy on the balcony of 32 Smiths’ Square on sunny 24 February 2011 where your ‘Immigration and Islam Spokesman’ simply plagiarised parts of Mein Kampf. Your only response was ‘I never read Hitler’s book’.
Second time I was very clear – no amount of money in the world can buy my silence. Another concept you do not understand because with you everything is about lining your own pockets.
So you tried again. Third time. Why? To close the police investigation into UKIP and you personally? To stop me talking to Electoral Commission? To stop exposing your fraud? To save your precious skin? Or all three?
It was not enough that you have remained silent while Batten was inventing a criminal case that never existed to silence me about very existence of his and UKIP’s ‘Charter of Muslim Understanding’, his and UKIP’s Dismantling Multiculturalism to remove Jews and Muslims from UK, your refusal to testify against Batten for his fraud simply because he knew about your fraud too, your part in conspiracy to pervert the Course of Justice and convict me for the crime which only does not exist but I could have never committed, and just to silence and discredit me for simply telling the truth.
Well my former friend I am not for sale and there is nothing you can do to silence me, stop me, buy me and especially threaten me.
I wonder what response this will get from Farage – will he be man enough to admit he is setting out to pervert the course of justice and bribe a witness, or so it would seem.
Let us not forget Farage is under investigation both ‘yet again’ & ‘not before time’!
Interestingly George Stride, Geoffrey Collier & Nikki Sinclaire (& others) were all members of ‘Farage’s’ UKIP South West Regional committee who were well aware that Julia Longhurst supplied Farage with his  Constituency Office and UKIP Regional Regional Office for, in Farage’s own words: ‘For a peppercorn rental’, as I recal all three and others were at the meeting when Farage and the Longhursts reached agreement some 15 years ago.
It would seem that amongst other sums of money Nigel Farage has obtained is a sum of £205,000 which were ‘allowances’ for his constituency office when it was in fact funded by the generosity of the Longhursts and was in fact also UKIP’s regional office where amongst others Steve Harris worked as UKIP Regional Organiser for many years!
this sum would seem never to have been declared as a political donation, despite the fact that it had been repeatedly pointed out to Fasrage!
This sum should not be confused with the some £211,000 which in one year alone was declared in Farage’s accounts for his office as ‘sundry expenses’ – sundry expenses that exceeded 50% of the cash expenditure/turnover of the office for the year! Whether Farage was able to pass off this amount annually I do not know but let us not forget that, looking through the list of donations listed by The Electoral Commission, Nigel Farage would seem never to have made a significant donation to UKIP – yet he was able on one occasion alone to deposit £250,000 to his trust account in The Isle of Man!
It has been reported by the media that if found guilty under investigation Fararage could face a prison sentence and let us face it this is a considerably larger sum than the £36,000 or so which earned Tom Wise3 a two year prison sentence!
Little wonder it would seem that Nigel Farage will take any risk to avoid the consequences of his reported actions as reported by the media.
I personally do not accept the desperate efforts of some to claim Farage is being smeared by the media because he is some sort of threat to the ‘establishment’ – my personal experiences over many years and the 100s of people who have contacted me or provided information show Nigel Farage to be UKIP and UKIP to be Nigel Farage, so what passes for leadership is and always has been the promotion of the Farage cult where Farage acts as a sociopath in the delusion that whatever he does or says is true and correct and that anyone with differing opinions must be forced out of HIS party.
Sadly I believe there is every reason to believe that UKIP is corrupt from the top down and like fish it rots from the head down!
Regards,
Greg_L-W..
