A UKIP candidate has made a u-turn over a series of “aggressive Twitter rants as he desperately tries to revive his election chances.

Ummer Farooq, 29, mocked Remembrance Day poppies as “occultism” and said the US staged the 9/11 attacks.

He also tweeted “every adult in the UK” should be armed and said Israel “created” Palestinian terror group Hamas.

But the latest embarrassment to UKIP boss Nigel Farage back-pedalled on Friday – as the party distanced themselves from his views.

He told the Sunday Mirror he had been “childish” and “aggressive.”

Farooq, bidding for a seat in the May 22 local elections, said of his tweets: “They don’t help. I shouldn’t be saying things like this.”

He claimed he had changed his mind and added: “I know many Jewish people through UKIP. They are nice.”

A party spokesman said yesterday: “We will investigate Mr Farooq’s comments. The views expressed are his own and are not UKIP’s.”

Farooq, who also tweeted that the Boston Marathon bombers were innocent, made his “apology” three days after UKIP suspended the star of its EU election campaign film over offensive tweets.

Zimbabwe-born Andre Lampitt was one of five supporters who appeared in a party broadcast for next month’s poll. But the council election candidate was suspended after he allegedly branded Islam “evil,” claimed the Prophet Muhammed was “a paedo” and said Africans should “kill themselves off.”

Farooq – aiming to win his party’s first seat on Labour-controlled Waltham Forest Council in East London – believes he will avoid the same fate with an apology.

Many will recall the self serving outburst of truth ffrom Mike Nattrass MEP when after years of utter irelevance he had finally shown a spark of ethical behaviour and denounced the racist associates of Nigel Farage and the odious group Farage had formerd from the gutter sweepings of EU politics.
Mike Nattrass’ flickering of integrity did not last long as having spoken out telling the truth about Farage he then sought to curry favour by rejoining the racist bigots Nigel Farage had surrounded himself with in the EU in his EFD Group. Presumably having changed his mind about retiring as he realised how dependent he had become upon the income and status it gave him!
needless to say Nattrass did not admit to just how involved in UKIP corruption he was nor how he had defended the corruption of the MEP candidate selection process in the past – kind of different when the dishonesty and rigging did not favour him any more. Ukip is facing a fresh storm of controversy as further evidence emerged of racism among its local election candidates, including a suggestion by one that the comedian Lenny Henry should emigrate to a “black country”.

Candidates have taken to social media sites to rail against Islam as “organised crime under religious camouflage” while likening the religion to Nazism, and suggesting that the murder of the black teenager Stephen Lawrence has received a disproportionate level of attention.

One candidate for election in Enfield, William Henwood, responded to a recent speech by Henry, in which he suggested there was a poor representation of black and ethnic minorities on British television, by tweeting: “He should emigrate to a black country. He does not have to live with whites.”

Ukip, polling at 18% in the latest Observer/Opinium findings, said the party was “non-racist, non-sectarian” and that “any comments made by members that fail to uphold these values will be duly investigated and acted upon”.

The latest developments will only add to Nigel Farage‘s woes after a disastrous week for the party in which its big advertising campaign has been picked apart. Ukip has already been forced to suspend the “poster boy” of its European party election broadcast after it was revealed he had posted a series of racist comments on Twitter. A builder in a Ukip poster accusing EU workers of taking UK jobs was discovered to be an Irish actor who migrated to this country, and a woman who appeared on a poster as a voter from Devon was Ukip’s events manager and an assistant to the party leader.

Ukip has attempted to improve its vetting of candidates in the local and European elections to be held next month, but it appears that some of their members will not be constrained on social media. Along with his comments about Henry, the party’s candidate in Enfield Town, London, has tweeted that “Islam reminds me of the 3rd Reich, strength through violence against the citizens”. He said Muslims “like us to fawn to them” and “young Muslim men remind me of young Afrikaners. They are taught at an early age they have the right to abuse”.

A Ukip candidate in Camden, Magnus Nielsen, used his Facebook account to post: “70% of mosques in the UK have been taken over by Wahabbi fundamentalists. Islam is organised crime under religious camouflage. Any Muslim who is not involved in organised crime is not a ‘true believer’, practising Islam as Muhammad commanded”.

And, earlier this month, in the wake of allegations of police corruption in the investigation into the murder of Lawrence, Matt Pavey, a Ukip candidate in Lewisham, tweeted: “Does anyone remember the name Jean Bradley murder unsolved in Acton, London, in 1993. Anyone looking for corruption here? No, thought not.” Pavey tweeted two days later: “Lets all take a moment to remember Jean Bradley stabbed to death on the streets of London in March 1993 and no justice #stephenlawrence.” And again that day he tweeted: “Lets please take a moment to remember Penny Bell stabbed 50 times in London 1991. No justice #stephenlawrence.” Pavey said he was not prepared to comment on his tweets but that there was “no malice” intended.

Gareth Thomas, the shadow minister for Europe, said the tweets should be seen as evidence that Ukip is “not fit to represent the country in Europe”.

The Observer has also learned that Ukip MEPs are employing foreign nationals as parliamentary assistants while the party publicly takes a tough public stance against European immigrants taking British jobs. Last week Farage was involved in an exchange with the BBC’s political editor, Nick Robinson, over the employment of his German wife as his secretary.

Gerard Batten, Ukip MEP for London, has hired foreigners in both his European and UK constituency offices. Pavel Stroilov, from Russia, works in Batten’s London office, while a Polish citizen, Kamila Zarychta, is his accredited assistant in Brussels. Batten said: “I employ people on the basis of whether I think they can do the job.”

Ukip’s East Midlands MEP Roger Helmer, who has an Italian assistant, Francesca Salierno, in Brussels, said: “I absolutely reject the assumption that because we’re opposed to mass immigration it is therefore somehow inconsistent and hypocritical for a Ukip MEP to hire a foreign person.” he said William Dartmouth, Ukip MEP for the south west of England, employs Line Sophie Munk Olsen, a Dane, as one of his four parliamentary assistants. A spokesman said: “He employs four British people in his office as well.”

UKIP is no more professional now that Mike Nattrass has departed than before when he was as embroilled in the racism, corruption and xenophobic extremism that typifies the party.
The pretence at professionalising and cleaning up their act and lies about being non racist and non sectarian are most clearly shown to be disingenuous bunkum when one notes that Paul Weston is still active within the party as is Gerard Batten MEP, when one considers the outrageous incitement to racial hatred lively resultant from the vile racist anti Islamic drivel from Gerard Batten as mirrored by that of Paul Weston.
Merely consider the vile antics of the undeniably corrupt Gerard Batten UKIP MEP who has stood at Nigel Farage’s right hand as a leading member of the party for many years and has not been deselected nor chucked out if only as an ignoramus let alone for his vile comments and total lack of understanding of concepts of justice and the values of decency.

Unwise as it is to judge out of context we note UKIP has done nothing of consequence to censure Paul Weston nor anything atall to boot the odious rascval & liar Gerard Batten out of the party for peddling his vile superstitions which are inclined to incite race hatred, indeed he is selected as a lead candidate to support Nigel Farage!

Hi,
with at least 25% of the topics & conversation on one of the UKIP controlled Forums being desperate attempts to defame both Junius & this blog for daring to be patriotic, principled supporters of the ideals of the bulk of those, who like us, who support UKIP’s aim to Leave-The-EU which has quite clearly been subsumed by greed, corruption and self interest of its embarrassment in the leadership clique and its claque of self serving wannabes hovering around the honey pot seeking crumbs from the tables on the EU gravy train.
We now have one of the fools in this claque too ashamed to put his name to his naive comment:

Mick, do you realise how few people read or even know of Junius/GLW?
In fact you probably help their readership by keeping threads like this going.
Just ignore them.
If you think they are writing lies, then who cares.
How very true – but how staggeringly silly in its political naivity – politicians seek numbers as shown by the crass who gather around The Farage Party, which offers no meaningful hope having been a spectacular failure with less than 30 people elected to office out of the 19,500 or so seats available by election in British politics and it has taken 20 years to achieve that!
What the foolish little chap hasn’t understood is that it couldn’t matter less how many of the several 100,000 people who read our blogs actually do know of us, with Junius running at approaching 1/4 Million hits a year and my blogs well into 100s of 1,000s, it is a matter of the quality of those opinion formers who read them.
It is also worth noting how many sites mirror our blogs and howmany on post them or quote them. On one of the UKIP controlled Forums our blogs and ourselves feature in at least 1/3rd of all UKIP postings!
But yet again – who cares how many read our blogs or Twitters it is a matter of calliber and relevance and that would seem to be a good percentage of the total.
As with Twitter where the irrelevancy of followers is matched by the general stupidity of most tweets – hence I TRY to keep those I follow to under 50 so that I can read their posts (unlike the idiotic who obviously read very little following 1,000s) similarly as my Tweets are published on the side bar of my blogs and web sites they are read by many more than those willing to risk the attacks of UKIP leadership claque and the nutters from the Hollie Greig hoax or the McCann publicity machine who do not want to be on the list but clearly read the entries.
Take for instance someone like stephen Fry – who cares what he Tweets? or who is interested in what Nigel Farage’s staff Tweet for him and obviously his Twitter account is dishonest as who on earth has the time to read all those incoming Tweets he merely lets people be on his list to flatter them for political gain. One wonders what percentage of his followers either read his staff’s output or are even in Britain!
Better to be read by one individual of influence and consequence than 10,000 fools!
Ill informed as he is this cowardly poster sheltering in anonymity has not twigged the value of a searchable archive of facts and related views. Nor it seems has he any awareness of the number of mainstream media stories that have been in the media as a result of these two blogs.
No doubt the foolish little fellow is unaware that it was as a direct result of my postings and relentless exposure of corruption that Tom Wise UKIP MEP was eventually put in prison and consider the number of facts regarding corruption that first surfaced in the public domain on these two blogs.
It is our clearly avowed aim to expose the corruption, lies, self enrichment, self interest and utter incompetence of UKIP leadership and its claque of corrupt fools that is at the core of our postings – the aim is to CLEAN-UP UKIP to hopefully make it electable to lead & champion the cause of Leave-The-EU, which it has clearly failed to do.
UKIP had some great (if slow in coming) achievements in the early days reaching its zenith with Roger Knapman at the helm in 2004 – it had effectively, through use of such campaigning as was advocated by Dick Morris – And yes of course what he said was obvious and as with any simple principles nothing he said was new or even his own ideas BUT he put it together for UKIP members in a form they were able to take on board.
WHAT has UKIP achieved since 2004? It had 12 MEPs and all that potential and went on to become a total embarrassment currently up to its neck in half baked policies and pretence to be a political party (we need another political party like a hole in the head) when what we need is leadership to Leave-The-EU.
All that UKIP has achieved since 2004 is a series of thefts by its MEPs and their staff and the rise to control of half wits and political idiots like Mick McGough, Malcolm Pearson, Stuart Agnew, Derek Clark, Gerard Batten, Stuart Parr, Steve Crowther and the list goes on!
Results at the polls in British politics speak volumes with UKIP bumping along averaging out at between 3 & 6% of the actual votes at the ballot box after 20 years!
For trying to CLEAN-UP the party we support to make it electable it is little wonder the clique does not wish to be exposed and their claque are in overdrive with lies, defamatory comments and serial desperation to silence the steady flow of information from Junius and my blogs.
Predictably the response of the proven liar who has stooped to criminality to silence the truth Mick McGough was not long in coming to the quote of the anonymous half wit which I posted above!

OK it is irrefutably proven that this low life pest Mick McGough is a liar, a cheat and willing to demean himself and his associates with his comments and behaviour and to think he has conned his way onto UKIP’s NEC and uis seemingly respected by the illinformed and less intelligent UKIP members who are clearly unaware of the damage he does.
Lets face it this odious little man is exposed and banged to rights with substantive, corroborated, cross referenced facts as a liar, a cheat, corrupt, dishonest and happy to act criminally to gain his self interested ambitions.
This is not a dredge through half informed ancient history and missquotes, this is not smears and innuendo, this is not dishonest implications, nor idiotic fantasies presented as fact but actual fact backed by hard evidence – yet in the name of UKIP this odious excrecence of a man comes out with this comment:

Mick McGough you are a contemptible serial liar and/or a natural low life as you have shown and has been proven – sadly you are not the only one in UKIP’s claque or its leadership clique with the likes of Derek Clark, David Bannerman, Marta Andreasen, Gawain Towler, Godfrey Bloom, Douglas Denny, Lisa Duffy, Gerard Batten, Peter Reeve, Mark Croucher, Tom Wise and so many more.
Little wonder UKIP in its present state has shown itself to be no part of the solution with consistently low support at the ballot box for British politics and is in fact a very major part of the problem related to our membership of The EU and public desire to Leave-The-EU.
UKIP has lost all credibility in British politics as the ballot box shows. Yet it is noted these low lifes are welcome with open arms by the extremists, racists, anti Jewish, anti Muslim, anti homosexual, advocates of membership of the EU with reform & improvement of control over vassal regions, advocates of violent xenophobia and the utter scum of EUropean politics – what an embarrassment for Britain that UKIP are in cahoots with such trash in The Pan EU Political EFD Group!

And then people wonder what I mean by CLEAN-UP UKIP to make it fit for decent informed individuals to vote for to lead or at least parade the values of Leave-The-EU.
Rather than listen to the low lifes of UKIP leadership clique and its odious claque why not take me up on my offer of many years standing – either phone me or arrange to meet me and check THE FACTS.
I am firmly on record as offering to be cross examined regarding the facts I publish on my blogs at any public meeting I can reasonably attend where I will be all too happy to contribute to my aims to work for the cause of Leave-The-EU and towards that aim to seek to Clean-Up UKIP and expose corruption, dishonesty and deceit in public office towards better Governance of Britain and the peoples of these United Kingdoms by the peoples of these United Kingdoms in Britain as a sovereign and independent nation.
The likes of proven liars and self serving low lifes like Mick McGough are clearly bringing UKIP, CIB, TFA etc. into disrepute and hugely assisting The EU by undermining the credibility of the EUroSceptic Movement.
UKIP leadership and the perception it is The Farage Party and the dictatorial controls held by Farage and his clique similarly give a clear air of corruption to add to the already obvious corruption of UKIP as it now is with the incredibly low calliber of its officers, staff and claque does absolutely nothing to help the EUroSceptic cause and it is an undeniable fact that UKIP is of great help to The EU in providing the semblance and pretence of democracy in that they can claim there is an opposition in the EU yet when that opposition jumps through every EU hoop to enrich its leadership and is seen at best as a bunch of inept clowns and at worst as a self serving clique of corrupt fools it does nothing for the aspirations of others to Leave-The-EU.

Hi,
I had not bothered mentioning the details of the close link with UKIP & The British Freedom Party as it seemed to be just one prominent member Paul Weston who was a UKIP candidate for Parliamentary election and an outspoken member of UKIP’s London ‘shower’!
However the game has moved on it seems! As made abundantly clear by one of my contacts in The EU who is a supporter of UKIP and thus vehemently opposed to the behaviour of the party leadership and its parasites whose over racism and association with such vile characters as the EFD Group and apparent incitement to race hatred based upon choices of superstition that have been so clearly manifest by Gerard Batten who has been associated with the extremist organisations and individuals already shown on this blog and on the blog regarding him at CLICK HERE
Gerard Batten also features here CLICK HERE amongst a number of his known associates including Gregory Lauder-Frost (known by some as Frauder-Lost as a result of his conviction to prison for theft from his employers) and also others perceived by many as extremists, racists and preachers of thinly veiled incitement to race hatred, frequently like Gerard Batten based upon their religious superstitions.
Interestingly although it was a matter of Court record freely provided in the public domain that Gerard Batten was facing allegations in court of racism and abuse etc. he still has not provided the details and has in fact engineered a clearly immoral gagging order, since he is a public servant, in order to suppress the facts regarding his odious extremism, one assumes!You may find the following article informative as it shows just how incompetently led UKIP is with the comments of the UKIP leader in Scotland and Party Policy Director advocating ex BNP members join the party via the extremist BFP CLICK HEREI wonder if UKIP will ever expel its dishonest leadership team member who so glibly pretends to be a member of the House of Lords an action he has been cautioned for as ‘passing off’. Christopher Monkton, the one time journalist has also been vociferously claiming Obama birth certificate is a forgery.

I for one doubt it as that would require an ethical act of integrity!

Having seen that article remember BFP leader Paul Weston stood as a high-profile PPC for UKIP in 2010 for the City of London constituency who in an interview told politics.co.uk that ‘the UK was being colonised and ethnically cleansed by mass immigration and that within the next 20 years a race war would break out in the UK  where white working class kids will go fight against immigrants’ CLICK HERE

This did not to my knowlege have any disciplinary UKIP consequences  for Paul Weston as he continued to be quoted as UKIP though he subsequently left UKIP founding the British Freedom Party (BFP).

The BFP has attracted significant membership transfers with Weston, from UKIP or at very least tacit agreement and support as Christopher Monkton has confirmed, and of course draws largely on the disillusioned member of the collapsing BNP.

The BFP is I gather now officially  the Political Wing of the English Defence League, with Tommy Robinson / Steven Lennon having  been appointed Depty Leader CLICK HERE

This  follows many months of widely known and publicised mutual support and close cooperation!

The party has also cooperated CLICK HERE  with the Kahanist Fascist Jewish Defence League, which is responsible  for a large number of murders and whose US leaders were arrested in 2001 for plotting to blow up the offices of the Muslim Congressman Darrel Issa CLICK HERE

Of course officially the BFP are a proscribed organisation!!

The pretence put forward that it does not permit association with racists, the anti Jewish, anti homosexual and Holocaust deniers is clearly a pack of lies as Christopher Monkton, a member of the leadership team has shown and as shown by the irrefutable fact Farage is leader of the EFD Group in The EU which ticks all the boxes as an extremist and racist organisation!

Interestingly despite having arbitrarily proscribed people from membership such as The UKFirstParty members UKIP leadership still tries to pass itself off as a Libertarian Party yet is itself neo fascist in many aspects!

In the light of UKIP’s catastrophic results in te recent Local Elections with a mere 9 seats with no gains out of the 4,987 available and in the London Mayoral election particularly with the risible 1.96% of the vote in a fiasco many believe was engineered deliberately by Farage to suit his masters!
It is clearly not the time to continue to spin the truth as clearly the peoples of these United Kingdoms have seen straight through their sham and hypocrisy and even Farage announced to the media that UKIP under his leadership was reliant on protest votes – the sub text of the statement being that UKIP under his leadership team had failed totally to impress with their policies or abilities!
