UKIP leader Nigel Farage is to have an operation to treat back injuries caused by an air crash in 2010.

It is understood that he will have an operation on his back on Tuesday.

The MEP had to cancel an appearance at his party’s North East regional conference after ongoing back problems flared up. Party sources say he is currently in agonising pain.

He suffered the injuries after the plane he was in crashed on General Election Day in May 2010.

In a video message to a North East delegate dinner in South Shields on Friday night, he said he was “gutted” not to be with them but said he was seriously incapacitated.

He added that doctors had told him his workload had exacerbated the problems.

Mr Farage said it was important to get treatment so he could play a full part in next May’s European and local elections, and the 2015 general election.

The party is holding its first ever North East regional conference in Tynemouth this weekend after 12 months in which it has finished second in parliamentary by-elections in Middlesbrough and South Shields.

In his video message, Mr Farage said UKIP was now the main opposition to Labour in the north.

The crash in Northamptonshire on 6 May 2010, left both the pilot Justin Adams and Mr Farage in hospital.

An Air Accidents Investigation Branch report found the plane crashed when a campaign banner it was towing became entangled, causing the plane’s nose to drop.

A subsequent Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) inquiry, which looked into whether Mr Adams was qualified to fly with a banner, cleared the pilot.

Ian Duncan-Smith lit the blue touch paper under the Internet savvy UKIP members late last night, by midnight they were howling at the moon – 900 vitriolic comments under an article that didn’t appear until 7.30pm!

The cause of the vitriol and hysteria? – IDS had revealed that Britons who had paid the mortgage on their house for 30 years were behaving as though they had a right to own that house, their contributions for their pension for 30 years were acting as though they were entitled to receive it, and the European Courts were backing them in a ‘ridiculous ruling’ that was costing the country around half of the £53 million the UK cheerfully shelled out to ensure that more than 15% of the Congo electorate ‘engaged with the democratic process’.

For some reason, that £53 million to people who have ‘no link’ to the UK didn’t cause the Little Englanders any pain; they certainly weren’t up all night swigging Gaviscon.

Last night they were – because it was an EU ruling from ‘unelected, undemocratic, Eurocrats’ who were forcing ‘decent hard working tax payers’ to live in penury so that pensioners living 20 miles the other side of a stretch of water could be paid the same elements of the retirement pension as those in the UK.  Merely, merely! because they had a ‘link’ to the UK (as working and paying your contributions for the required number of years to be entitled to a retirement pension is henceforth to be known).

One chap was so incensed by the idea of ‘foreigners’ (as pensioners with an address in Europe are now to be known) ‘picking up’ a buckshee cheque for £200 at his expense, that through spittle flecked speech, he was forced to explain that his brother had moved to France some years ago – and he had never visited him there because he had no intention of ‘driving on the wrong side of the road’ or ‘eating foreign food’ and he would be voting for ‘democracy to be restored to the UK’. Sheesh! 70% of the world drives on the right, so democratically and globally speaking, he’d better get used to the idea of driving on the ‘wrong side of the road’ – and good luck not eating ‘foreign food’ in the UK. No wonder Telegraph readers are the world’s largest consumers of Gaviscon (OK, I made that up) – but really, where do you find a British tomato in December? He must live on a diet of sugar beet and mutton to avoid To ‘foreign food’.

Talking of democracy, wasn’t one of those ‘unelected, undemocratic, Eurocrats’ actually elected by the people of Britain some years ago – Nigel something or other. Can’t think what happened to him…..

As it happens, back in July the Department of Works and Pensions was advising IDS to expect an increase in Winter Fuel Payments to those dastardly pensioners who dared to live the other side of the English channel to amount to £80 million – but lo! yesterday IDS was forced to ‘hit out’ as pensioners ‘pocketed cheques intended to help the elderly’ and which only amounted to 25% of the expected increase…..£21 million.

A DWP spokesman said it was impossible to tell how many of the new claimants were foreigners with links to Britain.

‘Foreigners with links to Britain’ – by definition they could only be ‘foreigners’ who had chosen to live and work in Britain long enough to earn full pension rights, so what difference does it make where they had originated from? They had agreed to pay into a pension fund, which given their current age, was busy paying out pensions and related benefits to individuals who had never put so much a a single penny piece into their ‘pension’ – on account of the retirement pension not having existed when they were working back in 1930 or whenever.

So a generation which cheerfully shouldered the burden of paying pensions to those who had contributed nothing, and built up a NHS for a generation who had paid nothing, are to be robbed of part of their pension by a generation which foams at the mouth at the idea that part of their NI contribution should be going to folk who had at least contributed…and now live 20 miles south of Dover munching ‘foreign food’.

It is beyond parody that a country memorably described as a ‘banana republic’ by a High Court Judge in respect of its ability to run free and fair elections, and which couldn’t get 15% of its own citizens out to vote for the new Police Commissioners, should pay out an average £350 per household to the mud huts of the Congo to ensure the required number vote – but begrudge its own citizens £200 on the grounds that they are ‘foreigners’ now, living in ‘EUbongo-bongoland’.

Cut pensions by £200 across the board by all means, if you can live with the decision politically and the country can no longer afford the current rate – pensioners are remarkably hardy creatures, that’s how we got to be pensioners, we will manage somehow; but is it really necessary to engage in this xenophobic battle of words and underhand dance of the dodgy statistics?

Ms Raccoon lives in the Monbazillac area of South West France, renowned for its fine wines and gourmet food, so she frequently finds better things to do than sit in front of a computer all morning. She is liable to take off traveling at a moment’s notice. Consequently this blog only gets updated these days when it is raining – and it doesn’t rain very often round here – or when it is a blistering 40 degrees and she’s feeling bad tempered.

Did Farage Lie To The Press About His Business Interests?

It was a huge embarrassment to Nigel Farage when his off-shoretax avoidance scheme was exposed by the press. He had of course recently criticised such schemes in the European Parliament. But of course, if it is him, it is different. He can do anything he wants.

Questions were also asked about his business interests, and his tax affairs. With regard to the latter, we understand that questions are still being asked.

In his own defence Farage claimed that, amongst other things, he had no business interests.  ‘I packed up business completely in 2004.’ he told the press.

This was not entirely true, as he was at that time director and sole shareholder of Thorn in the side ltd.

Now we note that he has revised his declaration of financial interests to the European Parliament.

He acknowledges that he is paid by the company a sum between 1001 – 5000 euros per month. 

The question is, was he receiving an income at the time he told the press that he had  ‘ packed up business completely in 2004.’? 

Investigative journalists might want to take a close look at this, we are reliably informed.

To which I felt it apposite to clarify some facts:

Hi,

Nigel Farage was a director of his own company in cahoots with his brother.

It is also interesting to note that Nigel Farage lied about his Isle of Man tax dodge when he claimed he had not used it as he deposited about £!/4Million to his account in one cheque alone! The account is called Farage Educational Trust so perhaps he was merely being dishonest by seeking to mislead!

There is of course nothing dishonest about seeking to set up legal scams to avoid tax merely utter hypocricy when it is a politician particularly.

We all know high rollers such as footballers, comedians, entertainers and other hugely over paid individuals use such as Baxendale Walker to get out of paying taxes.

You may find Baxendale walker of help if you, like Nigel Farage, are grossly over remunerated just look him up on Google and draw your own conclusions – personally I find the man odious and beneath contempt on many counts, not least of which is his life style and bimbettes and his exploitation of every law he can find for gain, or so it seems.

He would seem to have the financial morality of scum like Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, Hamish Grossart, Angus Grossart and their ilk in my opinion but ethics and morality are clearly varied it would seem.

Much as Nigel Farage may be a consumate performer I for one find his ethics and morality deeply suspect and his ruthless derfence of his position at the troughs on the gravy train and his self serving authoritarian control of UKIP for personal gain beneath contempt. Particularly in respect to his abuse of patriotism for personal gain!

I am minded of the individual who recently offered a large donation to UKIP to match that which Farage made from his income, in percentage terms.

I gather he had no need to put his hand in his pocket.

We all remember Stuart Wheelers generouls offer to match any £10K or more donation by a UKIP MEP which has I gather cost him not one Penny to date!

Minded of the pensions for life these MEPs will also will also earn it does look as if it is not the cause of Leave-The-EU they are most interested in but their own self serving greed!

European Union (Referendum) Bill comes up for review.

It was, I seem to recall, a Tuesday evening and I was sat at my
desk in the EP. Nikki Sinclaire was in the adjoining office.
Some time earlier we had been talking about the government’s
offer to debate matters in parliament if 100,000 citizens would
present a request by petition. There was no mechanism in
place at that time, nor did there appear to be any real hurry to
put one in place. Nikki had identified this as an opportunity to
call for a referendum on our country’s continued membership of
the EU.Nikki suggested some words, I put them down and sent them
through to her, she e-mailed me back some changes, I finished
it off. It didn’t look bad at all….“We the undersigned call for a binding national referendum to
decide whether Her Majesty’s Government should invoke
Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty to negociate the United
Kingdom’s withdrawal from the European Union….”The campaign was launched at a meeting in Torquay on
September 3rd 2010, and so we set out to find 100,000 signatures.There was uncertainty as to whether 10 Downing Street would
accept the petition. They accepted it, in fact they took in over
200,000 signatures.There was uncertainty as to whether the Commons Backbench
Business Committee would debate the matter. They debated it,
and we saw the biggest backbench revolt the government had
experienced up to that point.The idea of a referendum was voted down, but the matter
would not go away. Nikki’s polling proved that the people
wanted to have their say.This coming Friday, Nov 8th, we will see the Commons review
the European Union (Referendum) Bill.—————————————————————What impressed me was the level of cross-party support for the

petition. Only UKIP failed to support us. Indeed, a UKIP member
who had asked if he should support the petition kindly
forwarded to me a letter he had received from the UKIP leader’s
office. Here is a short extract: “Petitions, I may say, are useful
for publicising issues and recruiting activists; but, where such a
fundamental policy as rejecting the EU is concerned, there is no
prospect whatever of a pro-EU government’s acceding to a
petition.”However, once it became clear that we were winning the battle,

    From winning their first ever 16 seats on Lincolnshire County Council in May, UKIP in Lincolnshire had to deal with racism allegations and suspensions, leading up to the party losing its official opposition status after six councillors split from the party in September. How did it get to this point? May 3, 2013: UKIP win their first 16 seats for councillors on Lincolnshire County Council in the local elections, as Conservatives lost overall control after winning just 36 seats and Labour won 12 seats. The turnout was just 29% county-wide. In Lincoln the turnout was even lower at 26%.

    May 9, 2013: Conservative County Council leader Martin Hill agrees on a coalition to maintain control with Liberal Democrats Reg Shore, John Marriot and Pat O’Connor, and Independents Chris Brewis, Bill Aron and Angela Newton.

    May 10, 2013: Chris Pain, UKIP’s East Midlands regional chairman and Wainfleet and Burgh councillor, is voted by fellow party members as the leader of UKIP on Lincolnshire County Council. He nominates Robin Hunter-Clarke and Victoria Ayling as his deputy leaders. UKIP become the second largest group on the council, the majority opposition.

    May 11, 2013: Chris Pain confidently says he will stand for MP at the next general election for Boston and Skegness against Conservative MP Mark Simmonds, squashing rumours that UKIP leader Nigel Farage will stand there given the party’s success in the area.

    May 17, 2013: All 16 UKIP councillors refuse to sign an anti-racism declaration at the County Council annual meeting. The document is meant to ensure all Lincolnshire residents are treated equality and have access to the same services. The motion is passed by 60 other councillors.

    May 23, 2013: Lincolnshire Police begin investigating claims that racist comments were posted on the Facebook pages of UKIP Lincolnshire leader Chris Pain and two other UKIP councillors, Alan Jesson and Tiggs Keywood-Wainwright. All three strongly denied making the comments and Chris Pain said his account had been hacked. The issue was brought to police attention by someone from the County Council.

    June 4, 2013: Chris Pain is forced to step down from his East Midlands regional chairman role over the alleged racist comments posted on Facebook. UKIP’s National Executive Committee (NEC) said it was holding its judgement on until police complete their investigation. Chris Pain remains leader of the UKIP group on the County Council.

    June 12, 2013: Chris Pain insists sanctions imposed on him by UKIP are just a formality while he clears his name and says he submitted an application to stand as an MEP representing the party in next year’s European election.

    July 31, 2013: Chris Pain confirms his deputies Victoria Ayling and Robin Hunter-Clarke have been stripped of their roles in the party on the County Council. Councillor Ayling says “There are question marks over the process taken with this,” and that UKIP are investigating the matter. Tattershall Castle Councillor Colin Mair becomes the new deputy.

    The bit in bold is where the trouble starts. I presume it is because the fascists that are the real power behind this country took a disliking to the UKIP taking a disliking to their “anti-racism” offensive (May 17). They tried to set Chris Pain up (May 23), but we can deduce that he managed to clear his name due to the allegations failing to stick. This must have been an embarrassment for the fascists so they presumably called on their man within the UKIP to deal with it. That man was Steve Crowther. The reason for the trouble in the first place was because the UKIP went against the grain.

    I was one of those that UKIP clearly “didn’t like” and “didn’t fit the mold” when i ran as a candidate in the CC elections in East Sussex last May… UKIP management’s cronies hacked in to my Facebook account (allegedly), created a ghost or clone account using my name, photograph and my email to access my main account… wrote a whole load of anti semitic rubbish in my name which no thanks to their useless press department, resulted in a nationwide indeed, world wide negative press campaign against me which has carried on over many months. The last publication that i am aware of, with negative comments related to myself was just a month ago in The Sunday Times! They deliberately tried to wreck my reputation and standing in the community and possibly make me a target of extremists who assumed (wrongly) that i am anti semitic and a crazed conspiracy theorist… they then, suspended me. It was a vicious, nasty, reckless and dangerous attempt to discredit me. It was a difficult time but, i weathered it and held my head high. I still ran in the CC Elections and indeed my colleague and i did incredibly well. Why? Because the local community and indeed UKIP branch members didn’t for one minute believe the negative publicity cooked up by these vicious but incredibly ambitious thugs within UKIP… Shameful. I have since resigned from UKIP and am convinced that UKIPs upper management were behind this witch hunt. There is no way that UKIP are committed to free speech or democracy. I believe they are just another right wing controlled opposition party who are supporting and abetting the establishment’s agenda. Some of grassroots remain in denial but, when the truth comes out and it will, they are in for an unpleasant awakening when they realise they have all been well and truly used.. and conned. There is no loyalty within UKIP, no respect and no thanks for hard work or loyal support by its members, candidates and councillors… in fact, from what i have witnessed first hand, grassroots are lucky to receive so much as the crumbs from management’s table.

    It seems to me that the party is being hacked. We know that the fascists play dirty if they can’t win legitimately, and they must have seen that Chris Pain could have ended up as the UKIP MP for Lincolnshire. The fascists seem to use Facebook as their method of choice in their sting operations. They must have some sort of control in this. At a guess I would say it looks like some rogue elements within the British intelligence agency, which are obviously linked to the higher echelons of the British government. You see in a way this has come about by the UKIP being a victim of its success. It now represents a credible threat to the establishment. Unless the UKIP take this seriously they will end up like the BNP and become extinguished. You UKIPPers have the big boys on to you now. Good luck, as I think you will need it.

    The destruction of Ukip from within is following a similar pattern to the destruction of the BNP from within. Even the personal smears are similar – faked Nazi salutes and anti-Semitic comments. This has a far reaching effect beyond just that on members and supporters as it discredits nationalists and patriots to the wider public and strengthens the state in their battle against the British people.

    Here’s a bit more news from up that way.

    THE UK Independence Party is in meltdown in Worcestershire – with an entire group of activists sensationally quitting to form a breakaway group. West Midlands MEP Mike Nattras and Carl Humphries, UKIP’s best known organiser in Worcester, have teamed up to launch a new political party.

    Mr Humphries is a former Worcester city councillor and UKIP election candidate who has been working behind the scenes for years recruiting new party members.

    Mr Nattras, who quit UKIP last month after being deselected from next year’s European elections following rows with leader Nigel Farage, has launched ‘An Independence Party’.

    To add to the drama, two other UKIP activists resigned yesterday to join the new party – saying they were fed up with being “dictated to”.

Hi,you may well find the comments of a past Chairman of UKIP of interest:

Niall is absolutely correct in stating that UKIP should have produced an entry for the Brexit competition.

UKIP let every member down when it failed to do anything of note to fight the Lisbon Treaty.Indeed Farage is on record as stating in the NEC meeting that the Conservatives should be left to deal with it ! Neither did it produce a competent petition to trigger a debate in Parliament on a referendum,that was left to Nikki Sincalir and others and to the Express.

So sadly this lack of action by the party is par for the course.It cannot simply leave action to party members on an ad hoc basis .The whole point of a party is to organise the membership,provide leadership ,produce useful ideas and strategies and accurate written work.Doesn`t seem to be happening does it?

Then of the 8 UKIP MEP’s left who ever hears of Dartmouth,Bufton,Clark or Colman?

Finally add NO official UKIP Brexit entry and you know FKEU I’m absolutely right – UKIP is NOT fit for purpose!

For those who have had the pleasure of not noting FKEU you will find he is one of the more unpleasant and damaging, to UKIP, trolls, who shelter their sneering and dishonest misrepresentations in a false identity; similar to such as SteveUKIP, Hartlepool and others who are too ashamed to put their name to their sabotage of UKIP’s efforts to appear principled, responsible and ethical (they are not alone!)

There was an interesting moment on Sunday when Andrew Neil asked Paul Nuttall about alleged links with Marine Le Pen, leader of the French National Front.

Nuttall stated that he had never met her.

As recently as the early part of this year reports from Brussels referred to meetings between UKIP and Front Nationale figures to discuss the formation of a political group in the European Parliament after next May’s european elections. Godfrey Bloom, of course, was co-founder of the European Alliance for Freedom, a far-right pan-European political party. The photo shows the UKIP logo side by side with the EAF one.

This is from a statement issued by Front Nationale last year:

‘Marine Le Pen joined the European Alliance for Freedom last October. This pan-European platform was founded at the end of 2010 and despite its opposition to the European Union such as it is organised at present, has been recognised by the European Parliament. The members of this Alliance have come from the ranks of those movements engaged in the patriotic and sovereignty struggles of our time. They include for example the Austrian FPÖ of Heinz-Christian Strache, the British UKIP of Nigel Farage…”

Mme. Le Pen is in the ascendency, and is probably the most prominent populist politician in Europe. Farage is said to be seething about this.

Pan-European parties will be able to contest ‘virtual’ constituencies. To be top of the candidates list in one of these parties is a guarantee of a job for life, which is what Farage craves. He knows that a seat in Westminster will never be his, and a Tory peerage is dependent on his patrons toppling Cameron and replacing him with one of their own, David Davies, most likely.

However, The EAF is now very much Le Pen’s vehicle, and she is steering it well. The will be no political space for a second far-right party. Farage has missed the boat and he probably knows it.

THE future of the UK Independence Party in Scotland has been thrown into turmoil with a civil war looming and a coup planned against its leader north of the Border.

Just months after claiming it was mobilising in Scotland with new branches being set up across the country and ahead of May’s European elections, the party has split into factions with an extraordinary general meeting called where three key office bearers face being ousted.

Several key members have submitted motions of no confidence against Otto Inglis, secretary of Ukip Scotland, and party treasurer Dr Jonathan Stanley.

They in turn have moved against the Eurosceptic party’s Scottish chairman Mike Scott-Hayward, amid claims internal structures are in disarray.

Ukip sources have accused Dr Stanley, 31, a part-time locum at English hospitals who came sixth in a recent Edinburgh Council by-election with 235 votes, and Mr Inglis, a qualified barrister, as being the prime movers in Ukip Scotland’s internal discord.

Mr Inglis was fifth in the recent Aberdeen Donside by-election, with 1128 votes, 4.83% of the poll.

One senior source said: “It’s an utter shambles. We’ve no organisation, Mike Scott-Hayward is nowhere to be seen, no-one’s heard from Christopher (Lord) Monckton (Ukip Scottish president) and it’s really not like any political party I’ve ever heard of.

The extraordinary meeting, planned for Stirling this month, will see candidates and leading members present views on the future of Ukip in Scotland.

In May, Mr Scott-Hayward, a former Tory councillor, said the party was experiencing a significant growth in membership in Scotland, leading to it reorganising and setting up new branches in Orkney, Moray, Lanarkshire, the Black Isle and the Borders.

Mr Scott-Hayward, an ex-army major and coastguard officer, said members of various other parties had joined Ukip. Some polls claimed their pre-summer support was as high as 9%.

Steve McKeane, a recent Ukip Parliamentary candidate is one of those behind the motions to oust Dr Stanley and Mr Inglis. He said: “These are internal party matters and will be discussed internally and those within the party will be made aware of results of those discussions in due course. I don’t see why people are trying to second guess what will happen.”

Another party source said: “There are a couple of people within the organisation who don’t like the way the system is run and organised. They’ve tried to move against the leadership earlier this year and failed.”

A Ukip Scotland spokesman said: “There’s an internal dispute and this is the opportunity to sort that so we can go forward as a united body going forward towards the European elections.”

One has to wonder if this is just disgruntled Scots wanting an easy ride, as is sadly too often the case as they blame those south of the border for all their woes!The article totally overlooks the undeniable fact that the very same article could easily have been written about almost every area of UKIP politics in the whole of Britain.It all boils down to utter incompetence as a small clique seeks to feather its own nest with a claque of hopefulls and the easily beguiled braying support founded on little or no knowledge but a great deal of vicious cult propaganda.

Consider just how utterly centralised, authoritarian and corrupt UKIP is as it panders to any spec of support it can gain by opposing policies of anyone and any party but being unable to present even the most simple of costed policies, which are largely invented on the hoof by Nigel Farage without a wit of leadership ability but a very glib tongue.

Few seem to realise that Nigel Farage is without leadership ability and thus rules the party rather than leads it, perpetually in fear of competence or professionalism as he peddles the myth of ‘man of the people’ and if his drink soddened ineptitude is rtedollent of the people little wonder there is such violence and division in society.

Yet, again and again, UKIP’s teflon hero gets away with his self serving posturing.

Don’t get me wrong, for one has to admire his ruthless self interest and the consumate veneer of cheeky chappie, behind which he has sqandered £Millions of public money on stunts to keep him in the limelight but it seems no one is able to identify a singyle notable achievement of UKIP that can not be shown to be self interest on behalf of a tiny clique, fed by the ambitions of a cowardly claque seeking rewards from the largesse of the gravy train they seek to ride.

Doubt me? Well start out by real;ising that in a term of office an MEP usually manages to walk away with approaching £1Million and as many wuill recall, in his second term Nigel Farage boasted, at a press lunch, of having made about £2Million. Now perhaps one understands whence came the £250K he deposited into his tax haven in the Isle of Man and his ability to dodge UK taxes via his Belgian bank account!

The prevalence of high cost restaurants, bars and bordellos surrounding the EU parlaiment and the idiotic Strasburg venue give testimony to just how much of our hard earned tax money is paid out in bribes by the EU for you cou8ld not for a moment pretend the income of those riding on the gravy train are earned in any true sense of the word.
As to the apparent ‘peculiar’ position of Scotland as enumerated in the article above, do not be misled into thinking this is not pertinent to UKIP right across these United Kingdoms.You need only to delve back into the archive to seesuch behaviour, again and again.
Consider the dishonesty of Nigel farage’s ‘Reichstag moment’ when he invented BNP connections as a desperate measure to remove Dr. David Abbott & Dr. Eric Edmond, as they tried to represent those who elected them to the NEC and introduce some semblance of democrtic principles and accountability for the 100s of £1,000s that UKIP seemed unwilling to account for.Perhaps you remember Richard Suchorzevski’s, chairman of UKIP Wales, letter seeking clarity as to where large sums of money had vanished (many believed trousered by the clique) when he was elected to the NEC to introduce probity.

It may be seen by the uninformed as the flagship but sadly long ago it fell into the hands of bounty hunters, brigands and nerre do wells who have all but destroyed it removing the reliable and honest activists amongst the crew and placing self seeking and ignorant lakeys in position to guard the personal interests of the utterly corrupt inner claque now on the bridge.

It is sad that UKIP which was the great hope of so many patriots amongst us has now been so debased and corrupted as to bring credence to the generalisation of Samuel Johnson’s in 1775 that ‘Patriotism is the last refuge of scoundrels’.

In self serving naked greed and self enrichment interests its squabbling inner circle, which has lost the support of over 50% of its elected MEPs and many of its elected Councillers, has opted to align with racists, bigots, anti homosexual, anti Jewish, xenophobic and extremists and can attribute much of its rise in membership and popularity to the collapse of the BNP and obvious failure of the EDL, EDP and similar organisations as the New UKIP panders to the lowest common denominator and looses sight of its raison d’etre.
