Repeatedly UKIP has seen the very few honest individuals who get on The NEC dishonestly ousted be that Dr. David Abbott, Richard Suchorzewski, Dr. Eric Edmond and others!
All to maintain the cover on areas of corruption of Farage’s UKIP!

Hi,
I was interested to note the strange comments on Anthony Butcher’s squalid little forum regarding the placement of individuals on UKIP’s NEC, clearly based on long term experience of UKIP selections and internal elections, the result can not be trusted to have been fairly rigged, and in fact the whole farrago was called into question due to the inept manner in which the rigging seemed to be taking place – hence the re-run!
Consider first the comments on the corrupt and managed Butcher Forum where lies and defamatory slander is something of a norm and every low life suppoerter of UKIP defames anyone with a reasoned alternative view yet few if any have the integrity to put their names to their idiotic comments as they shelter in cowardly and unconvincing anonymity behind their childish fake names!
The comments I noted were:

A rather silly fantasy though I gather Team Junius did indeed support Chris Paine.
It would be interesting to know ( to flatter the rather sad, untrustworthy and pedantic lad) what so called ‘quid pro quo’ it is that he fantasises of, particularly since he will note I never supported Paine as a candidate, all be it he was a cut above the others in terms of long term loyalty to UKIP having first risen to prominence in Boston some years ago as a supporter of one of UKIP’s most successful ever PPCs.

He claimed the cheque had been lost in the post and requested a duplicate the committee obliged only to find that both cheques had been presented for payment, therefore a request for repayment of £500 was made on repeated occasions via email, telephone and verbally without success. This money was earmarked for the Corby constituency, the greed of Chris Paine denied the hardworking members of the said constituency money that had already been allocated to them via the EM committee. Is this the calibre of person that UKIP wants to serve on its NEC? A person that is active for self advancement only.
One can not be surprised that this cowardly individual ‘fails to comprehend’ when he has in fact failed to even notice I had not supported Paine to any degree on my blogs – and you will note my comments at CLICK HERE
In fact I fail to see how this cowardly little man can see my publication of Paine’s letter of 30-Apr-2012 denouncing the behaviour of Derek Clarke’s puppet Regional Committee can be seen as helping Paine when one realises the leadership clique and its claque of cowards and fools have such an antipathy for honesty.
To deal with the claims made by the cowardly poster there would be far more – even some – credibility were he to put his name to his story!
I can see that such a situation might pertain in a committee managed by a drunken taxi driver and an MEP who has openly, frequently and repetitively lied to voters, members and the committee he gathered around him, about his own criminality and fraud yet was all too happy to boast at a public meeting in Derbyshire of how he defrtauded The EU on a regular basis.
You will note the money of which he boasted would not seem to reflect in donations to the party beyond ‘investment’ in getting himself back on the gravy train!
Perhaps it is the utter lack of integrity and habitual dishonesty of Derek Clarke that gave rise tyo the claims made by Anthony Butcher’s cowardly poster and his defamatory statements, which I for one will take with a pinch of salt until he is man enough to put his name to what can otherwise be treated as merely a defamatory smear.
That I have made little mention of the placement of Farage’s support team is hardly surprising as without exception they are unmemorable other than the odious and corrupt Mick McGough who no one of any integrity or self respe3ct would wish to have dealings with.
Perhaps the thoughts of The Junius Team might help clarify the situation:
We would like to congratulate Chris Pain on his election to the NEC. At last, the NEC will have an independent voice! And we would like to thank all our readers who followed our advice to vote for Mr Pain.
We note that Wolfman McGough was re-elected. He now has another term in which to kiss the Fuhrer’s backside. He will enjoy that. It proves that you don’t have to have brains or talent to get ahead in UKIP. You only need the willingness to prostitute yourself for Nigel.
The Wolfman gets ready to enjoy another term as Nigel’s a*se licker
The other winning candidates are non-entities with little talent or brains – ideal members of the Farage Sycophants Club.
Just for the record may I add my congratulations to Chris Paine for having been placed top in ‘The Process’ – no mean achievement for someone who is regularly quizzed and accused of supplying information to Team Junius – as ever without a shred of evidence on the part of the corrupt leadership of UKIP and its vile claque of cowards and fools.
Nigel Farage’s Plant for UKIP in Eastleigh Diane Martine James or Mrs. Diane Forrest of Greater Significance with Marta Andreasen’s departure to The Tories!!!
.
~~~~~~~~~~#########~~~~~~~~~~
.
Hi,
with Marta Andreasen now departed, to join the Tories who totally rejected her as a candidate when first she tried to wheedle her way into a seat in The EU, and aware of just how crass are Nigel Farage’s abilities in man management and selection I felt a few more details might be apposite on Mrs. Diane Martine James.
Let me first thank a couple of friends, who assisted me, individuals who, like me, support the primary aims of UKIP and desperately wish the party could be cleaned-up and rid of the self seeking dross that has hijacked the leadership positions and the odious claque they sponsor to keep themselves on the gravy train.
and with Diane Martine James Forrest here (whether an assumed name for convenience or a tacit nod to a marriage she seeks to hide, as John Richard Forrest is, amongst other things, an adviser and presumably lobbyist assisting The EU!)
I noted at DMJ1 that her co-directors of Hamgain were Edwin James (b.1928) and Sandra S Cheesman (b.1962), who I assume to be her father and sister.
Edwin’s address was in Chatham which, if the family home, fits with UKIP’s notes that Diane was brought up in Kent; Sandra appears here: http://www.192.com/atoz/people/cheesman/sandra/po18/2593831634/
sharing her address in Chidham with a David Roger Cheesman in 2002,
and as Sandra S James from 2003. (?Divorced?)
She also turns up on Chidham & Hambrook parish council!
this links all three lists, with NTL, Virgin Media, 3i and Blue Wave from (JRF1),
Zinwave from (JRF2)
and European Microelectronics Academy and Narec Capital from (JRF3).
It also gives the interesting piece of information about him advising the European Commission on technology initiatives!
One almost loses the will to live trying to untangle his different addresses as it is hard to tell whether those I found were private or company addresses.
Balmer Lawn Road, Brockenhurst, is also the address of his co-director Jane Patricia Forrest at Forrest Farm Enterprises (JRF1) and Egan International (JRF2).
There was also an Alexander I Forrest living there in about 2002-3.
Could Jane Patricia Forrest be a now cast off wife and Alexander a son?
At all events it would seem he currently co-habits with Diane. A recent marriage is more than possible and aware of her age and political aspirations Diane opted to retain her maiden name.
There was a planning application in 2005 from Mr & Mrs J Forrest at Abingerwood, whether prior to her relationship with John Forrest or utilising either her new married name or an assumed name and style (Perfectly legal to use ANY name one may choose as long as there is no intention to defraud – I should know as I added a hyphen to my name whilst still at school and have used my name with a hyphen ever since).
Probably none of this matters very much. The silly part is if I could only have found some basic checkable information I would very soon have lost interest in her, but it tends to bugs me that none of the details released by UKIP quite fit.
UKIP’s track record of inventing CVs and backgrounds of its ‘chosen’ plants is near consistently dishonest, which leads one to doubt as one knows as a fact UKIP can not be trusted to tell the truth.
There are no names of the “succession of major pharmaceutical companies” it is claimed she worked for, the “healthcare agency” business she established, what she was doing in Boston, or the “independent consulting business” she founded.
Googling the Scottish healthcare conference her company launched, NHS Masterclass, and HFMA and I found no reference to her at all! Which in the light of the lies Nigel Farage told us and aided David Bannerman and also Marta QAndreasen to promote gives rise to reasonable suspicions I am sure any honest individual would agree!
You will note: “Ms. Diane James is Non-Executive Independent Director of ProVen Health VCT Plc.
She is an independent adviser to a number of healthcare organisations involving healthcare innovation in the Uk and Europe.
She was formerly the chair of the Surrey & Sussex CLRN (Comprehensive Local Research Network), part of the National Institute for Health Research which was established by the UK Department of Health in 2006, to support clinical innovation research in the UK.
She has a wide range of healthcare experience at senior management level in both the public and private sectors and has founded, developed and divested a specialist healthcare communications business.”
CAVEAT: This MAY be another Diane James as there is reference of an American born Diane James who has 30 years experience in Health Care – perhaps, as so often happens in UKip Diane James has confused herself with someone else (many will remember the pack of lies provided in the CV of David Bannerman!)
Even her education is puzzling, details proving elusive.
She is supposed to have attended Thames Valley University, but it only became a university in 1992 when she was 33 and had supposedly was establishing her own businesses. Did she manage to fit in a part-time degree there as well, or did she in fact do a course at what was then the Thames Valley College of Higher Education when she was 18 or so?
I don’t know nor especially care, but it’s typical of her that even over this there’s a question mark.
I freely admit there is a tendency not to give her the benefit of the doubt in the light of the regular dishonesty of UKIP over Nigel Farage’s chosen ‘plants’.
Her twitter thingy is at https://twitter.com/DianeUKIP Clearly a construct for her new ambitions with UKIP, as you will note she remains an Independent in her actual political achievements, choosing NOT to represent UKIP or give her name to supporting UKIP
Finally, Farage tweeted on Feb 15, “I was at the Eastleigh campaign base before Brux today. Always travelling”. I’d already seen at
his excuse for not standing at Eastleigh himself was:
‘The reason is simple: I am leading this party into the local elections in England and then the European elections and thirdly, it’s quite busy in Brussels and I need to be there”.
Though I believe it was a sensible decision, in that for Farage to fail yet again, in a high profile by-election would serve him ill – even were it good for UKIP, which I do not believe his presence to be save amongst the chavery of the pub class who are increasingly being reduced in numbers.
Farage’s much publicised excuses bear clower inspection in the light of UKIP’s general dishonesty!
to see what pressing matters were tying him up over there.
The first week of the Eastleigh campaign was MEPs’ constituency week when he shouldn’t have been in Brussels at all, and weeks 2 and 3 are committee weeks which don’t involve Farage as he’s not on any committees! His most recent resignation being from The Fisheries Committee after his embarrassing failure of leadership where UKIP failed to vote on The CFP in the Parliament and it was made public that he had failed to attend the committee for a considerable time!
The only day on which he would have scheduled meetings would be the day before polling, when there are group and Conference of Presidents meetings, involving his milch cow the racist, anti homosexual, xenophobic, anti Jewish supporting EFD Group he has dragged UKIP into the gutter of EU politics to support!
So what else is he so busy doing in Brussels?
We are obviously not meant to ask!
Interesting that Marta has now gone. Looks like I was right in my predictions and the prediction that Diane James was Nigel Farage’s new plant for the job as an MEP – well I guess UKIP must face facts that there is no point in a candidate who might outshine Farage as he would soon destroy them.
The other sad fact is there is absolutely no one of any visible merit who could step up to the plate in UKIP South East, so how ever foolish Farage’s manouvering is as leader, as his track record has shown again and again he uses and abuses people for his personal gain and all too often his judgement in personnel selection is at best crass!
Hi,
as I do not have direct permission to publish the sources of this eMail circulation, wide as it may well be, I have taken the liberty of publishing with sources redacted.
It does make it a tad more difficult to follow but I’m sure you can puzzle it out.
Subject: Re: UKIP Voting – in Brussels!
Hi REDACTED,
I’m not sure when REDACTED circulated this explanation of voting policy from an ‘EUKIP insider’, but, I’m afraid to say that it’s, at best, disingenuous!!!
EUKIP MEP’s have in fact voted for/signed up to EU legislation in the past, and they continue to do so!
[In early 2007, UKIP MEP Derek Clark signed an agreement in Bucharest endorsing subsidiarity and the Common Agricultural Policy? Roger Knapman, ex UKIP leader, described (at the time) this as a “. . .major departure from what we believed to be UKIP’s policy – withdrawal from the EU, a complete rejection of its authority and of the CAP. Subsidiarity is an EU doctrine which assumes EU sovereignty. . . Accepting subsidiarity accepts ultimate EU sovereignty.”]
Now to the very recent Fisheries Resolutions:
1 On the final resolution relating to the fisheries vote (A7008/2013 Rodust), EUKIP did not support it, but abstained. This was a vote to remove from the CFP the hugely unpopular, disgraceful and non-sensical discards policy where dead fish are thrown back into the sea. The Tories, including Euro withdrawalists Hannan and Bannerman, supported the motion.
In fact, if one peruses the various RCVs (electronic votes) it gets worse; much of the time EUKIP were voting against each other! Example: Amendment 220: most of ukip voted ‘for’ but Farage and Bloom voted to ‘abstain’.
Amendment 253: most of ukip were ‘against’ but Farage ‘abstained’.
So, where was the EUKIP whip – is there one? Indeed, did EUKIP have a common policy on this motion or did different researchers and MEPs arrive at different conclusions?
Apart from providing ‘jobs for the boys’ who fall within the favour of Farage and his sycophants, what do the numerous staff in the Brussels branch of ukip actually do? Certainly, most MEPs in ukip do not bother to attend their committees and ukip has two MEPs with amongst the worst attendance in Brussels – ie Nuttall and Bloom. Attendance records can be checked by googling Vote Watch EU. [REDACTED, maybe your ‘insider’ could answer these questions?]
2 If EUKIP only vote in favour of repealing legislation, why did they not vote to support the Rodust motion, to end discards?!
3 EUKIP say: “We do not vote FOR any EU legislation (unless it is to straight repeal something, or it censures the Commission, both super-rare), as we do not recognise the legitimacy of the EU, to make laws to govern our country.”
The best that can be said for this claim is that it’s a perfect excuse not to do any work or to scrutinise legislation. In other words, it enables EUKIP MEPs to remain even more lazy than their reputation suggests.
They cannot, of course, have it both ways. If they vote in favour of censuring the Commission or repealing legislation, then they must recognise the legitimacy of the EU by voting in favour of motions!
The fact is, the EU legislates for the UK. By ignoring such legislation, EUKIP MEPs do not take part in the process and produce no influence on that process whatsoever. This was evidenced by Godfrey Bloom’s absence in his Finance Committee, when – due to that absence – a crucial vote affecting the UK tied. The legislation therefore proceeded to Plenary (when Bloom’s Committee vote could have halted it) and was passed. Had Bloom bothered to attend, the motion would have been thrown out before it reached Plenary. A Tory MEP referred to this in a Blue Card she put to Bloom some months ago. (Look it up)
Naturally enough, the excuses EUKIP employ are no more than to cover up gross laziness and slothful inactivity. As Verhofstadt has stated of Farage, ‘what you are doing here is incredible; you are cheating your own taxpayers’. That outburst referred to Farage’s absence on his own Fisheries Committee. Since then, Farage has resigned from his fisheries Committee and is now about the only MEP who does not bother to sit on any Committee.
4 Farage pushed off half way through the voting that Wednesday. No surprise there: Farage does whatever he wants but is notorious for excusing himself from voting – a primary purpose of an MEP. If he had an interview, why did he not conduct it before voting or after voting? Or could it be that affairs of state are secondary to publicity to satiated the vast ego of this upstart spiv?
5 Finally, here is an example of EUKIP’s absurd position: if the EU voted to cease the killing of the first born, would EUKIP abstain because the legislation emanated from the EU?
The reality is that the EU makes laws. The reason MEPs are sent to Brussels is to represent their constituents and nation. They are not sent to join a well-paying gravy train and do as little as they possibly can get away with doing.
Finally, the claim that UKIP only votes to repeal legislation or censure the Commission is a lie. On the 27th January, 2005, in a treacherous action, EUKIP MEPs voted to support ‘closer social, political and economic integration’ in the EU, in a motion connected to the holocaust, whose subtext called for ‘closer political, economic and social integration’ with the EU, for brainwashing in schools and for the outlawing of ‘xenophobia’, a thought-crime defined by the EU as merely an aversion to the Euro? EUKIP MEPs, who breached their own party constitution, neither apologised nor renounced this treachery.
Here, I pass to you some interesting information on UKIP voting policy in Brussels – widely criticised, but explained here, by “an insider”!
REDACTED – The crucial Discards Ban vote (amendment 119) we voted against, but it was not RCV (roll call voted) so, no electronic record of it. The final vote was RCV and we did Abstain/No vote, as recorded.
We do not vote FOR any EU legislation (unless it is to straight repeal something, or it censures the Commission, both super-rare), as we do not recognise the legitimacy of the EU, to make laws to govern our country. On the other hand, the Discards Ban went through and we could not vote AGAINST that, so ABSTAIN was only possible vote. Also, a NO VOTE does not prove that Nigel was not there, he was there, as the other votes of the day prove, but he could have been interviewing with the BBC, or dealing with any ‘matter arising’ at the precise time of the final vote.
Granted UKIP’s voting is all but irrelevant as they only account for some 9 or ten votes out of some 760 – showing what a farce any pretence at democracy in The EU is!
On issues vital to Britain IF every UK MEP were to vote in Britain’s interest and all voted the same their say would be only 8% of the total and thus completely irrelevant.
Hence I frequently say that the income derived by MEP’s is not for work done for Britain but massive bribes paid from money The EU extorts ffrom those unfortunate enough to be members to use to bribe its lakeys to act as salesmen for the scam!
.
Alex Andreou ask the question ‘Is Nigel Farage’s UKIP, A Party of Bigots?’ & goes on to prove it is – All Too Convincingly!!
~~~~~~~~~~#########~~~~~~~~~~
.
Hi,
as a long term supporter of UKIP, rather than the debased and befouled EUkip it has become, I find it sad that the main stream media are all now showing signs of seeing through the populist sham that UKIP has become.
It is all very well for Farage’s Party to boast of increased membership but just for a moment consider the calliber of much of that membership – I well remember the days when one could be proud to be associated with UKIP and most members were thinking, active individuals it was a pleasure to mix with but just look at the low grade dross they have as MEPs and the bullying abusive ingrates that seem to be their supporters (all too often too ashamed to be identified and sheltering their vile behaviour behind anonymity).
The political class are far from exemplary and MPs these days seem to set a very low example, with a poor cgrasp of ethics or integrity, probity or even how the system they feed on even works – particularly when it comes to The EU where they seem to understand little of its workings!
However for consistency of self serving, self enriching, squabbling low lifes there is little to rival UKIP!
Not one individual comes across as of gravitas, competence or potential leadership – ALL are entrammelled with the vilest of vile associates in the gutters of EU politics and seem to be kept in place by a claque of bribed praise singers who come across as little more than the scum of the earth – it is unsurprising who floats to the top in UKIP’s on unsavoury septic tank and nnot one of them would I wish to see in any position of authority!
U*KIP in their present form are undeniably unfit for purpose and make one fleetingly wonder if remaining governed by The EU is a better option than that UKIP might gain any real power, they have done such great damage to the patriotic cause of EUroScepticism and seem all too likely to be the main cause of rational and respectable EUroSceptics being likely to loose any IN / OUT Referendum as it now stands.
UKIP have clearly failed to grasp the arguments and with their consistent spiv image have failed to get the message out of the facts of how The EU functions – They have alienated almost every intelligent thinker of competence who once was an activist in UKIP merely so that the remaining dross would shine like cut glass in a dung heap.
Boasting of size of membership is no criterion when over the last dozen by elections UKIP has achieved a meager 3% of the electorate that turned out to vote – Nor are numbers of any real consequence when you consider that the most visited sites on the internet are pornography! Quality of membership is far more important than gathering dross by childish pranks and populism!
Is Ukip a party of bigots? Let’s look at the evidence
Their manifesto might just look like a list of things that annoy people, but party members hold some views that should concern us, says Alex Andreou.
The danger with extremism is that, when filtered through eyes and minds of reasonable people, it appears ridiculous. The reasonable assumption is that others will view it through the same filter and find it equally ridiculous. But, while The Reasonable laugh, support for extremist views creeps up. Because what The Reasonable failed to notice is that fear and insecurity have a way of robbing others of reason.
Ukip’s manifesto is a collection of promises selected, seemingly, on the basis of “twenty things that really annoy people”, with no inkling of implementation method or any costings; a wish list for The Annoyed.
Scared of immigrants? Vote Ukip.
Insecure about the financial crisis? Vote Ukip.
Hate the smoking ban, HS2, Brussels, travellers, burqas, regulation, tax, Boris, debt, wind farms, quangos, foreign aid, crime, Abu Qatada, tuition fees, lazy people, Muslims, foreigners, the hunting ban? Vote Ukip.
The real danger of Ukip becoming a serious contender for coalition partnership in 2015 is gleefully ignored by the centre-left (because, after all, they are damaging the Tories) and dealt with by the centre-right by shifting closer to their extremes; by copying their policies and rhetoric. Everything from the EU referendum and citizenship tests (pdf) to Theresa May’s – and I’m not making this up – imbecilic tales of cat loving, illegal immigrants.
In other words, not only is nobody challenging their vitriol, but they are being allowed to set the political agenda.
Meanwhile their oleaginous leader, whom the British media have taken to calling “charismatic”, is invited to appear on every news programme. This is, apparently, in order to provide balance on European matters – which is like inviting a creationist to give their view every time a story breaks about dinosaur fossils.
This man, who claims he stands alone in wanting to fight for Britain’s interests in the Evil EU, and who bemoans the amount of taxpayers’ money going to the aforementioned Evil EU, boasts about having claimed up to £2m in expenses out of said taxpayers’ money and presides over a party three of whose representatives have the worst attendance record of any British MEPs (who together already have the lowest attendance record of any national delegation). Presumably they are all fighting for Britain’s interests remotely from a BBC studio, somewhere.
Most important of all, we are asked to believe – and this is essential in making Ukip palatable to The Annoyed – that Ukip is not a party of bigots. That, it may walk like a duck and quack like a duck and be affiliated to other ducks all over Europe, but it is, in fact, a platypus. “I’d rather have a party of eccentrics than bland, ghastly people”, says Nigel Farage. Let us examine those eccentrics.
Links with European far-right parties
Ukip is part of the group Europe of Freedom and Democracy (EFD). The group includes representatives of the Danish People’s Party, the True Finns Party, the Dutch SGP and the infamous Italian Lega Nord – all of them far-right. Nigel Farage is co-President of the group along with Lega Nord’s Francesco Speroni, who described multiple murderer Anders Breivik as someone whose “ideas are in defence of western civilisation.”
Mario Borghezio, another member of the group, declared in a radio interview that Breivik had some “excellent” ideas. Farage’s reaction was to write a strongly-worded letter to Borghezio, asking him to withdraw his comments or Ukip would pull out of the EFD. Borghezio not only did not apologise, but responded with an extraordinary speech in which he raged: “Long live the Whites of Europe, long live our identity, our ethnicity, our race… our blue sky, like the eyes of our women. Blue, in a people who want to stay white.”
Nigel Farage did not withdraw from the EFD. He continues to co-preside over it, along with the leader of the Lega Nord. MEP Nikki Sinclaire, however, was expelled from Ukip for refusing to take part in the EFD because of their “extreme views”.
Links with domestic far-right parties
“Ukip has no links to the BNP,” explained Farage in 2007. The first line of any description of Ukip calls it “a libertarian, non-racist party”. What party, other than one skating close to the lines of taste and decency, needs to describe itself as “non-racist”? Farage boasted on The Andrew Marr Show (20 January 2013) that “Ukip is the only UK party to explicitly ban BNP members from joining”. What party, other than a party whose policies are attractive to such organisations, would need to do that?
Christopher Monckton, their Scotland Leader and Head of Policy Unit invited the now-defunct British Freedom Party – an amalgamation of mostly breakaway BNP members led by a former Ukip candidate until January 2013 – to join Ukip: “I would very much like them to come back and join us and we stand together.” Ukip’s excuse for this lapse? Monckton had been away on a tour of the US and was not up to speed with current policy. More recently, however, Farage refused to vote to oppose moves for the European Union to fund the BNP.
The founder of the party, Alan Sked, says it has become “extraordinarily right-wing” and is now devoted to “creating a fuss, via Islam and immigrants”.
Xenophobia
“Our traditional values have been undermined. Children are taught to be ashamed of our past. Multiculturalism has split our society. Political correctness is stifling free speech”, states the Ukip manifesto. Their “Pocket Guide to Immigration” promises to “end support for multiculturalism and promote one, common British culture”. After attracting some negative publicity, it has disappeared from here, but an archived version can be seen here (pdf).
One of their prospective MP candidates recently wrote: “A removal of multi-culturalism and assimilation of these people needs to be done to save them from the abyss of exclusion and welfare. Above all, one should not shy away of contemplating forced repatriation, or threatening it to further assimilation, as a result of their lack of economic contribution to the UK.” In fact their position on “forced repatriation” and “assimilation” is indistinguishable from the BNP’s. Except, perhaps, that Ukip’s 2005 manifesto advocates that all incoming immigrants should be “subject to health checks” for “communicable diseases”.
More recently, during BBC’s Question Time, Farage caused upset with some gross generalisations he made about Bulgarian people. He sent his trusted lieutenant and deputy chairman of the party Paul Nuttall to Bulgaria to diffuse the situation. Nuttall explained that he had nothing to apologise for, since he never bashed Bulgarians, but was just noting facts. He stressed that “Brits fear all immigrants, regardless of where they would come from.”
Islamophobia
“On the question of Islamification,” said Farage during a well-received speech, “we have to do a bit more to teach our children of the values of our Judeo-Christian society.” He proceeded to note that at least 20 police forces are turning a blind eye to the operation of Sharia Law and expressed admiration for countries which say: “You’re welcome to come here and to have your children here… but if you’re coming here to take us over, you’re not welcome.”
A recent manifesto commitment to “tackle extremist Islam by banning the burqa or veiled niqab in public buildings and certain private buildings” was further explained by Farage: “I can’t go into a bank with a motorcycle helmet on. I can’t wear a balaclava going round the District and Circle line.”
Finally, Ukip peer Lord Pearson put it unequivocally. “The Muslims are breeding ten times faster than us,” he said. “I don’t know at what point they reach such a number we are no longer able to resist the rest of their demands.”
Misogyny
Ukip’s only female MEP (after the expulsion of Nikki Sinclaire) Marta Andreasen, recently left the party, labelling Farage as an “anti-women Stalinist dictator” whose view is that “women should be in the kitchen or in the bedroom”.
This came as no surprise. His grasp of sexual politics has always been tenuous at best. As he explained in a Telegraph interview: “Lap dancing? Don’t have the time these days, but I used to go to them. Like it or not, they are a fact of life. You are talking about normal behaviour there. Everyone does it.” Then, asked about extra-marital affairs, he conceded: “Well, we’re all human. There is a big difference between that sort of thing and being really bad.”
When Godfrey Bloom MEP, infamous for making a speech in the European Parliament – one of his better ones – while heavily intoxicated, said that “no employer with a brain in the right place would employ a young, single, free woman”, Farage’s reaction was “Dear old Godders! Godfrey’s comment [as above] has been proved so right.”
Views on the less able
In 2007, Jack Biggs alleged that he had been banned from running as a candidate because of his disability and presented significant evidence in support. Later, high-ranking member Alexandra Swann sided with a Ukip councillor who said it was dangerous to allow those who do not work to vote. Political Scrapbook reported her as saying that “allowing people to vote on how other people’s money is spent — if they don’t contribute — is dangerous”. This, presumably, would include those unable to contribute because of disability.
Finally, the apotheosis (and demise of Godwin’s law, forever hence) came when a UKIP candidate aired his repugnant views about compulsory abortion of all disabled babies.
Homophobia
Ousted MEP Nikki Sinclaire, who came out as a lesbian, won a sexual discrimination case against UKIP after refusing to sit with its homophobic allies in the European parliament.
On a private members’ forum, senior UKIP member and former parliamentary candidate Dr Julia Gasper claimed some homosexuals prefer sex with animals. The Mirror reported her as saying: “As for the links between homosexuality and paedophilia, there is so much evidence that even a full-length book could hardly do justice to the subject.” (Ironically, UKIP General Secretary Jonathan Arnott had banned a discussion on the site on gay issues, because he feared that someone “is going to screenshoot comments and send them to a newspaper”.) She was sacked.
More recently a UKIP Croydon North candidate tweeted: “A caring loving home is a heterosexual or single family. I don’t believe (a gay couple) is healthy for a child.” He did so, after retweeting an article written by a National Front supporter who claimed there was “no such thing as homophobia”. He was sacked.
However, Olly Neville, the former UKIP Youth Chairman, was also sacked for supporting same-sex marriage. Sack them all, as long as we don’t have to talk about it, seems to be the policy.
***
These are the facts and they speak for themselves. This is a barrel in which you would be lucky to find one good apple, misplaced amongst the rotten ones. Like UKIP activist Maggie Chapman, who works in care, but thinks elderly people should be euthanised when they become a burden, cracks jokes about Muslims having sex with camels and “paki” families going home and spreads Christmas cheer with her “eggnog for nig-nogs”. Farage can distance himself from all of them; sack all of them; disinherit all of them. The inescapable truth is that it is his policies which attract them and will keep doing so; they remain his “eccentrics”.
Instead, if you find yourself nodding in agreement with a couple of items on Ukip’s long list of empty promises, remember all the other things you will also be signing up for. They represent a particularly insidious brand of extremist; Bigotry Light, if you will – all the hatred of normal bigotry, but none of the calories.
And rejoin The Reasonable, so we may continue to be the majority and laugh at things. Like this election leaflet.
Nigel Farage Places Mrs. Diane Martine James; an Unconvinced Outsider being an Independent Councillor & resident elsewhere, in Eastleigh!!

.
Nigel Farage has completely bypassed local candidates, with an alleged 70% endorsement of the local committee he convened for a hustings – though having watched Ray Finch interviewed on TV recently, if that was the best they could do locally little wonder!Nigel’s appointment is Mrs. Diane Martine James an Independent Councillor in Godalming in Surrey on Waverley Borough Council – surprising that he has chosen an Independent who though she claims to have joined UKIP a couple of years ago (I wonder will she, like Bob Spink before her, turn out never to have paid to join UKIP) after 2 years as a member she clearly lacks the conviction to serve by representing UKIP on her council, choosing to remain independent on the strongly Tory Council!

Mrs. James is also I gather an active member of the vigilante group ‘Community Speedwatch’, which rather goes against the grain of UKIP sentiment when one considers the amount of support given by UKIP to aiding Idris Francis in taking his case to The EU Courts to evade a speeding charge in one of his cars!
Since it is all too clear Mrs. James will not be elected I incline to believe that she has volunteered to put her name to the candidacy to raise her profile most probably in return for placement on UKIP’s MEP candidacy list in the region, by Nigel Farage, who has the constitutional authority to draw up his own list for elections with the nodding donkeys of the NEC who are dependent on him for their selection and election.
It will be interesting to see how Mrs. James fares when confronted by the far more plausible Maria Hutchings who is the Tory candidate yet far more clearly advocates the core values of UKIP with her very clear Leave-The-EU message supported by David Cameron’s underhand promise of a referendum on EU membership IF he is re-elected!
One wonders if Mrs. James will be happy to support racism, anti homosexuality and the general louche behaviour of UKIP within Nigel Farage’s extremist EFD Group in The EU were she to assume Marta Andreasen’s position after the next EU election, as would seem to be the plan!
Interestingly William Hill put the LibDims at 10/11 to hold the seat. Tories are evens,
Labour third,
with UKIP at a sad 25/1.
Considering Labour had yet to declare their candidate, this is hardly a ringing endorsement of UKIP. However you will be pleased to know that another of the ‘also rans’ has chosen their candidate to vie with Mrs. James in the larger than life:
Howlin’ Laud Hope who will stand for the Official Monster Raving Loony Party. One wonders might he outstrip UKIP’s inappropriate candidate!

ADDITIONAL FACTS ADDED 23-Feb-2013
Hi,
with Marta Andreasen now departed, to join the Tories who totally rejected her as a candidate when first she tried to wheedle her way into a seat in The EU, and aware of just how crass are Nigel Farage’s abilities in man management and selection I felt a few more details might be apposite on Mrs. Diane Martine James.
Let me first thank a couple of friends, who assisted me, individuals who, like me, support the primary aims of UKIP and desperately wish the party could be cleaned-up and rid of the self seeking dross that has hijacked the leadership positions and the odious claque they sponsor to keep themselves on the gravy train.
and with Diane Martine James Forrest here (whether an assumed name for convenience or a tacit nod to a marriage she seeks to hide, as John Richard Forrest is, amongst other things, an adviser and presumably lobbyist assisting The EU!)
I noted at DMJ1 that her co-directors of Hamgain were Edwin James (b.1928) and Sandra S Cheesman (b.1962), who I assume to be her father and sister.
Edwin’s address was in Chatham which, if the family home, fits with UKIP’s notes that Diane was brought up in Kent; Sandra appears here: http://www.192.com/atoz/people/cheesman/sandra/po18/2593831634/
sharing her address in Chidham with a David Roger Cheesman in 2002,
and as Sandra S James from 2003. (?Divorced?)
She also turns up on Chidham & Hambrook parish council!
this links all three lists, with NTL, Virgin Media, 3i and Blue Wave from (JRF1),
Zinwave from (JRF2)
and European Microelectronics Academy and Narec Capital from (JRF3).
It also gives the interesting piece of information about him advising the European Commission on technology initiatives!
One almost loses the will to live trying to untangle his different addresses as it is hard to tell whether those I found were private or company addresses.
Balmer Lawn Road, Brockenhurst, is also the address of his co-director Jane Patricia Forrest at Forrest Farm Enterprises (JRF1) and Egan International (JRF2).
There was also an Alexander I Forrest living there in about 2002-3.
Could Jane Patricia Forrest be a now cast off wife and Alexander a son?
At all events it would seem he currently co-habits with Diane. A recent marriage is more than possible and aware of her age and political aspirations Diane opted to retain her maiden name.
There was a planning application in 2005 from Mr & Mrs J Forrest at Abingerwood, whether prior to her relationship with John Forrest or utilising either her new married name or an assumed name and style (Perfectly legal to use ANY name one may choose as long as there is no intention to defraud – I should know as I added a hyphen to my name whilst still at school and have used my name with a hyphen ever since).
Probably none of this matters very much. The silly part is if I could only have found some basic checkable information I would very soon have lost interest in her, but it tends to bugs me that none of the details released by UKIP quite fit.
UKIP’s track record of inventing CVs and backgrounds of its ‘chosen’ plants is near consistently dishonest, which leads one to doubt as one knows as a fact UKIP can not be trusted to tell the truth.
There are no names of the “succession of major pharmaceutical companies” it is claimed she worked for, the “healthcare agency” business she established, what she was doing in Boston, or the “independent consulting business” she founded.
Googling the Scottish healthcare conference her company launched, NHS Masterclass, and HFMA and I found no reference to her at all! Which in the light of the lies Nigel Farage told us and aided David Bannerman and also Marta QAndreasen to promote gives rise to reasonable suspicions I am sure any honest individual would agree!
You will note: “Ms. Diane James is Non-Executive Independent Director of ProVen Health VCT Plc.
She is an independent adviser to a number of healthcare organisations involving healthcare innovation in the Uk and Europe.
She was formerly the chair of the Surrey & Sussex CLRN (Comprehensive Local Research Network), part of the National Institute for Health Research which was established by the UK Department of Health in 2006, to support clinical innovation research in the UK.
She has a wide range of healthcare experience at senior management level in both the public and private sectors and has founded, developed and divested a specialist healthcare communications business.”
Even her education is puzzling, details proving elusive.
She is supposed to have attended Thames Valley University, but it only became a university in 1992 when she was 33 and supposedly establishing her own businesses. Did she manage to fit in a part-time degree there as well, or did she in fact do a course at what was then the Thames Valley College of Higher Education when she was 18?
I don’t know nor especially care, but it’s typical of her that even over this there’s a question mark.
I freely admit there is a tendency not to give her the benefit of the doubt in the light of the regular dishonesty of UKIP over Nigel Farage’s chosen ‘plants’.
Her twitter thingy is at https://twitter.com/DianeUKIP Clearly a construct for her new ambitions with UKIP, as you will note she remains an Independent in her actual political achievements, choosing NOT to represent UKIP or give her name to supporting UKIP
Finally, Farage tweeted on Feb 15, “I was at the Eastleigh campaign base before Brux today. Always travelling”. I’d already seen at
his excuse for not standing at Eastleigh himself was:
‘The reason is simple: I am leading this party into the local elections in England and then the European elections and thirdly, it’s quite busy in Brussels and I need to be there”.
Though I believe it was a sensible decision, in that for Farage to fail yet again, in a high profile by-election would serve him ill – even were it good for UKIP, which I do not believe his presence to be save amongst the chavery of the pub class who are increasingly being reduced in numbers.
Farage’s much publicised excuses bear clower inspection in the light of UKIP’s general dishonesty!
to see what pressing matters were tying him up over there.
The first week of the Eastleigh campaign was MEPs’ constituency week when he shouldn’t have been in Brussels at all, and weeks 2 and 3 are committee weeks which don’t involve Farage as he’s not on any committees! His most recent resignation being from The Fisheries Committee after his embarrassing failure of leadership where UKIP failed to vote on The CFP in the Parliament and it was made public that he had failed to attend the committee for a considerable time!
The only day on which he would have scheduled meetings would be the day before polling, when there are group and Conference of Presidents meetings, involving his milch cow the racist, anti homosexual, xenophobic, anti Jewish supporting EFD Group he has dragged UKIP into the gutter of EU politics to support!
So what else is he so busy doing in Brussels?
We are obviously not meant to ask!
Interesting that Marta has now gone. Looks like I was right in my predictions and the prediction that Diane James was Nigel Farage’s new plant for the job as an MEP – well I guess UKIP must face facts that there is no point in a candidate who might outshine Farage as he would soon destroy them.
The other sad fact is there is absolutely no one of any visible merit who could step up to the plate in UKIP South East, so how ever foolish Farage’s manouvering is as leader, as his track record has shown again and again he uses and abuses people for his personal gain and all too often his judgement in personnel selection is at best crass!
For more details on Farage’s latest plant Diane Martine James, or might that be Diane Martine Forrest and a deliberate obfuscation of identity CLICK HERE
Nigel Farage the self serving leader UKIP sure knows how to damage The EUroSceptic movement in Britain – and at the end of the day the damage done may well lead to EUroSceptics failing to win the vote to Leave-The-EU in David Cameron‘s clearly fudged claims to be running a Referendum some time in the hazy distant future IF he is re-elected!!

Is UKIP really a ‘Nigel Farage dictatorship’ rife with sexism?
by Mary Honeyball
11 February 2013
UKIP seems to be a party filled with anti-women sentient – it is a one man band and it is all about Nigel Farage, or so it certainly seems, claims Labour Party MEP “A woman’s place is cleaning behind the fridge.” Well that’s what they seem to believe in UKIP. Indeed, in 2004 UKIP MEP Godfrey Bloom said just this and the events which unfolded last week shows little has changed in the intervening years since Bloom made such remarks.
It would be laughable if it was not so damaging, offensive and humiliating for those on the receiving end. So it is hardly a surprise to learn that the party’s only female MEP might have suffered alleged discrimination from within the party. But it was a surprise to see Marta Andreasen MEP launch a searing attack on the leader of the party Nigel ‘too much air time’ Farage.
She has said of Farage: “He doesn’t try to involve intelligent professional women in positions of responsibility in the party. He thinks women should be in the kitchen or in the bedroom.” Andreasen continued by telling the BBC (to view the article CLICK HERE) that she had been openly criticised by her party leader and other MEPs, claiming that this amounted to bullying.
“I’ve been bullied, in private situations, for decisions I have made by Nigel,” she said. “I have been accused of being disloyal, breaching confidence and breaching my contract with the party. There’s an attitude that either you keep silent about everything that’s been going on in the party or suffer the consequences.” Andreasen said she believed Farage – who was re-elected as leader in 2010 after standing down a year earlier to contest a Westminster seat – “did not like women” although this is purely her opinion and allegation.
I have appeared alongside Andreasen before on the BBC’s Newsnight programme and her views were some of the most thoughtful that I have seen come out of UKIP. We should give weight to what she says because what she is demonstrating is that UKIP seems to be a party filled with anti-women sentient. It is a one man band and it is all about Farage, or so it certainly seems.
Andreasen who, represents South East England in the European Parliament, has said she will not stand again. Still, this is a brave thing to do – to reveal a bullying culture at the highest level of the party while she is still in office and to do it so publically is courageous. She also claims in an interview with LondonlovesBusiness.com that Farage runs his party like some kind of dictatorship:
“Under his leadership – and I have questioned his leadership obviously a number of times – the party has become a dictatorship,” she said. “This is a Stalinist way of operating and he doesn’t care about the membership or the grassroots.”
We also should not forget former UKIP MEP Nikki Sinclaire – a lesbian, who won a sex discrimination case against her former colleagues on a default judgement at Exeter Employment Tribunal. This came after UKIP failed to lodge a defence. Sinclaire alleged that UKIP MEP Godfrey Bloom had called her a “queer”. We can only draw our own conclusions from all of this..

Hi,
as regular readers of this blog will be aware we strive for accuracy in exposing why correct as we believe UKIP are to campaign to Leave-The-EU we are all too well aware of just how unfit for purpose UKIP is relative to this task.
Much of the information we publish is sourced from senior members of the party and EU insiders, it is always interesting to be in a position to publish their direct quotes from public sources, thus not placing them at risk from the centralised authoritarian style of the party, so distanced from its farcical claim to be Libertarian when clearly it has no understanding of the doctrine and would seem to believe the style is interchangeable with ‘libertine’.
UKIP’s “budget buster” on Farage’s dictatorship and his dislike of women
Marta Andreasen might not be a household name, but her story was made for the headlines.
As a former chief accountant to the European Commission and an Argentinian-born, Swedish-married, Spanish citizen, Andreasen is on paper the antithesis of a stereotypical UKIP member. Since blowing the whistle on her EU bosses for alleged account fiddling in 2002, Andreasen has become the poster child of the British right-wing, desperate to claw back power from the EU.
Upon joining UKIP in 2007, the so-called “budget buster” rose up the party ranks quickly, first serving as party treasurer and then as a UKIP MEP from 2009. She was even dubbed Nigel Farage’s right hand gal as the pair pledged to take Brussels by storm and bring the Brexit debate centre stage here in the UK.
UKIP’s Marta Andreasen and Nigel Farage in happier times (2009)
But with only a year-and-a-half left to her term in Brussels, the 58-year-old considers her future with the party in serious doubt. And, with little left to lose but her reputation and a Euroscepticism to rival that of the fiercest Europhobes, Andreasen is going out swinging.
“Nigel promotes the people who say yes to him and will be grateful for getting the job and will never contradict him,” says Andreasen.
“Under his leadership – and I have questioned his leadership obviously a number of times – the party has become a dictatorship. This is a Stalinist way of operating and he doesn’t care about the membership or the grassroots…”
Andreasen says that Farage has worked to exclude her from the election list and that recent electoral party reforms – put forward to the members as part of the new UKIP Constitution – have been specifically created to target the few remaining independent party voices, such as herself. UKIP deny the claim and say that the draft reforms Andreasen has seen are not the final version.
“The new constitution for UKIP has empowered the leader in a disproportionate way. Notably in the election of candidates,” says Andreasen. “It has put the decision in his hands – literally.
“This was a matter of concern for much of the membership who didn’t realise when they were approving the constitution what the essence of the changes was.”
This will spell a future in the political wilderness for UKIP at a critical time in the EU membership debate, she insists
“Nigel promotes the people who say yes to him and will be grateful for getting the job and will never contradict him,” says Andreasen.
The backlash is only the latest in a line of UKIP revolts, going all the way up to UKIP founder Alan Sked who called the party “morally dodgy” and “extraordinarily right-wing”, as well as UKIP/Tory flip-flopper and MEP David Campbell-Bannerman.
In a recent interview with LondonlovesBusiness.com, Campbell-Bannerman said UKIP had “become very much a one-man band and a bit of a cult”.
“There is a followership and even the constitution has been changed to favour pro-leader candidates. I don’t think that’s healthy,” he added.
Late last year, Andreasen decided to pen her objections in an email to the UKIP’s south-east UK members. She quipped that the proposed changes, in effect, disenfranchised the base and allowed the national executive to dictate the MEP list selection process.
Andreasen also insisted that standing MEPs would not be informed about their right to run again until the last minute and that they would be barred from communicating to party members until the election, putting them at a severe disadvantage.
“I will find a possibility to serve my constituents in some way and to find a way to have them vote for me. Maybe the possibility will be that I will stand as an independent,” says Andreasen.
The reforms, she said, mean that the process will be manipulated and was already resulting in the “rumoured” fast-tracking of the controversial former Tory MP and now UKIP national executive member Neil Hamilton and his wife Christine, in the 2014 election list.
The letter was subsequently leaked, and Andreasen was left facing the prospect of a libel suit from Hamilton who slammed her for spreading “false rumours”. UKIP subsequently denied charges that Andreasen was threatened with de-selection by UKIP chairman Steve Crowther who called her statements “wrong”.
Regardless, exclusion from the 2014 election list now seems likely for the outspoken accountant, although Andreasen insists that it will not mark the end of her political career.
“I will find a possibility to serve my constituents in some way and to find a way to have them vote for me. Maybe the possibility will be that I will stand as an independent,” she says.
“Should I give up just because someone is bullying me not to stand?”
But why on earth does a South-American Spaniard care quite so much about her south east English constituents?
Well it seems, a part of it is personal, another ideological.
“Nigel does not like women,” says Andreasen. “He will not tolerate women that have a certain intelligence. He thinks women should be in the kitchen or in the bedroom. These are the two kinds of women he will respect, not a woman that says ‘things are not as you say and we should follow the rules’.
“Nigel does not like someone who will have reasonable ideas that contradict his ideas. He does not accept any contradiction to his ideas. Basically from day one, since I was elected, he was dismissive of my work.”
This doesn’t seem entirely in line with Farage’s original decision to select Andreasen or his support of Jane Collins for UKIP’s first parliamentary seat in last November’s by-election to replace disgrace Labour MP Denis MacShane, but Andreasen puts this down to pragmatism.
Staying candid about the reality that she owes her seat to Farage, the Spaniard nonetheless believes it was a two-way street. UKIP got Andreasen’s credibility, which she says they “desperately needed” at a time when David Cameron still felt it acceptable to publicly label UKIP “fruitcakes, loonies and closet racists”.
Marta Andreasen UKIP campaigning for EU Elections in 2009
In part due to her help, UKIP has since gone on to win 13 seats in Brussels, at times outstripped the LibDems in national polling and even started to challenge the Conservatives for domination at the EU level. The Andreasen-Farage duo proved powerful, with the party scooping up almost 450,000 votes in 2009 in the south east, where there are only some 5,000 UKIP members.
In exchange for her “credibility,” Andreasen got a chance to go and reopen her unfinished work, combing through the EU’s accounts. She immediately joined the Committee on Budgetary Control, which promises to monitors the haemorrhaging of EU funds.
Her work, she believes, is instrumental in building the case for Brexit, an idea Andreasen is as passionate about as her UKIP peers.
“I joined UKIP because the Tories wanted to reform the EU and in my experience I thought that the EU could not be reformed. In the course of my years as an MEP, I have only grown more convinced of this,” says Andreasen.
“I have always felt that the UK was the only country that would have the power to change the EU and that they would be able to do this by either leaving the EU or threatening to leave the EU.
“Contrary to what people say, the UK brings more benefits to the EU than the EU brings to the UK,” she adds.
And once the UK leaves, or threatens to leave, Andreasen sees other countries starting to notice the clear disadvantages of membership, and breaking off too.
“It was immediately apparent to me that the EU system was open to fraud and that it was deliberately left open to fraud. I could see this very clearly,” she says.
This has not, and will not change without a serious push by the British, she insists.
Yet with Cameron now promising a referendum after the next election, and also heading to Europe to negotiate a budget freeze, Andreasen insists he will do just enough to convince the electorate that he is “trying”, without actually offering the much-needed drive to end senseless waste, burdensome bureaucracy and corruption.
“I think that Cameron will try to negotiate a few changes that will make his promises credible to people at least for some time. I believe some partners in the EU, notably Germany, will want to help him out. But we should not expect big and lasting changes to be accepted by the Brussels bureaucrats,” says Andreasen.
“I know that eventually the EU will come asking for more money, as happened with the budget for 2012 where Cameron claimed victory in freezing the budget with only a 2% increase – in line with inflation – but then at the end of the year an extra 9bn euro had to be injected to cover the pending invoices….so the increase was actually 9%. But this way Cameron gains 12 or 18 months.”
This is why UKIP continues to be a vital voice not only in the UK, but in Europe and the world, says Andreasen, and crucially why the party must pool all its resources into getting one or two members elected to Westminster not just Brussels.
“Farage is a good spokesman and he is good in the media, but he couldn’t care less about the membership and I don’t think that he would allow UKIP to be the party that is going to lead the way out of the EU – I don’t at all,” says Andreasen.
“Farage doesn’t care about getting MPs elected to Westminster and if we don’t get MPs elected then we will not be able to lead the process of leaving the EU.”
Comments like these already caused a public spat in 2011, when Andreasen called on Farage to resign following a poor showing in the national elections. He retaliated by calling her “out of touch”.
With council elections coming up this May, the EU elections next year and the general election in 2015, and a promised referendum on Europe two years later, the debate will only continue to heat up.
“We have limited resources so we can’t fight all the by-elections and when we do try and fight all these by-elections there is no way that we can succeed. We should concentrate on three or four places where we have a real chance of winning,” says Andreasen.
“But now Farage is saying that he wants candidates everywhere for the council elections. It is just a publicity stunt and this is why we get the candidates that we get. We get candidates that go on holiday when the election is going on or get people who come out with comments which are absolutely against the policy of the party.”
With opinions like these, the “budget buster” may find herself on a one-way road out of UKIP but don’t discount her going away just yet – her soap opera-like political saga seems far from over.
Marta Andreasen on Nigel Farage’s Stalinist Style of management of UKIP!
Hell has no fury like a woman scorned as The BBC tells us!!

Hi,
as regular readers of this blog will be aware we strive for accuracy in exposing why correct as we believe UKIP are to campaign to Leave-The-EU we are all too well aware of just how unfit for purpose UKIP is relative to this task.
Relations between leader Nigel Farage and MEP Marta Andreasen have been strained for some time
A senior member of the UK Independence Party has threatened to quit after accusing leader Nigel Farage of being a “Stalinist dictator” and “anti-women”.
Marta Andreasen, who represents the South East England in the European Parliament, said she was unlikely to stand as a UKIP candidate next year.
She told the BBC that Mr Farage did not want “intelligent, professional” women in key positions in the party.
He responded by describing the criticism as “laughable nonsense”.
Relations between the two have been strained for some time, with Ms Andreasen calling for Mr Farage to quit after the party’s poor performance in council elections in 2011.
Since then, UKIP’s fortunes have improved and it recorded its best performance in a parliamentary by-election in Rotherham in December.
‘Dictatorship’
“Start Quote

Marta Andreasen UKIP MEP
Ms Andreasen, who worked for the European Commission before joining UKIP and being elected in 2009, told the BBC that “if things don’t change” within the party “she can’t imagine a way to continue”.
Of Mr Farage, she told LondonlovesBusiness.com: “Under his leadership – and I have questioned his leadership obviously a number of times – the party has become a dictatorship. This is a Stalinist way of operating and he doesn’t care about the membership or the grassroots.”
And she told the BBC she had been openly criticised by her party leader and other MEPs, suggesting that this amounted to bullying.
“I’ve been bullied, in private situations, for decisions I have made by Nigel. I have been accused of being disloyal, breaching confidence and breaching my contract with the party. There’s an attitude that either you keep silent about everything that’s been going on in the party or suffer the consequences.”
Ms Andreasen said she believed Mr Farage – who was re-elected as leader in 2010 after standing down a year earlier to contest a Westminster seat – “did not like women”.
“I am the only female MEP,” she added. “He doesn’t try to involve intelligent professional women in positions of responsibility in the party. He thinks women should be in the kitchen or in the bedroom.”
She said she planned to stay in the European Parliament as a UKIP representative until the end of the current Parliament in 2014, to see out her “mandate” and “look for ways I can continue to represent the membership”. She said she might consider standing as an independent next year.
‘No bar to advancement’Asked about Ms Andreasen’s comments, Mr Farage told the BBC: “This is just laughable nonsense.” When asked if he disliked women, he joked: “They’ve caused me a lot of trouble over the years.”
Mr Farage has defended UKIP as being different from other parties after Prime Minister David Cameron said some of its members were “pretty odd people”. He said UKIP did have “some eccentrics” but this was healthy and he was an unusual party leader in that he was a conviction politician.
Ms Andreasen is the party’s sole remaining female MEP, after Nikki Sinclaire was expelled from UKIP in 2010.
Ms Sinclaire later brought a sexual discrimination case against the party which was subsequently dropped.
At the time, the party issued a statement affirming its “opposition to discrimination on all grounds as prescribed by law and otherwise” and stressed that sexuality was “no bar to involvement or advancement” within the party.
Farage Dishonestly Tries to Claim The Referendum
.
Mea Culpa
I apologise for my poor posting record recently but have spent almost all of the time from 09-Jan > 27-Jan in hospital.
Fortunately unrelated directly to my battle with cancer since Nov-1998, which at the moment seems won, as my full body CT Scan last Thursday was showing absolutely no sign of cancer for the first time in 14 years.
Details, for those seeking the encouragement of the story of my survival against horrendous odds, will be on my health blog shortly.
I shall be heavily plagiarising the works of others (with permission, where required) to infill such gaps as seem apposite over the next few days – including Team Junius.
Thanks for the many messages of get well and the incredible support given to Lee by friends whilst I was in hospital.
Nigel Farage Dishonestly Tries to Claim The Referendum!
When in FACT neither he nor UKIP had ANY part in the effort to get a referendum save aiding The EU by blocking criticism of The Lisbon Treaty & Nikki Sinclaire‘s teams’ petition & obvious achievements!
I’ll do anything for publicity. Can I claim that Winston Churchill learnt it all from my Grandfather?
So Cameron has finally succumbed to pressure from his own party and promised an IN/OUT referendum on Britain’s membership of the EU ……. if the Tories get re-elected. And about time!
And who do you think is claiming credit for Cameron’s u-turn? Nigel Farage, that’s who! What arrogance! Farage has been an MEP since 1999 and has advanced the anti-EU cause not one inch in all that time! Mind you, Farage has been good at lining his own pockets thanks to the EU! Indeed, he’s now a very rich man thanks to the very thing that he claims to hate!
Last year, Cameron was rattled by his backbench revolt over the EU – LINK. Our readers will remember that the debate was as a direct consequence of Nikki Sinclaire’s referendum campaign – LINK
Nigel, who was it who collected 220,000 signatures, forced a debate in the Commons, and provoked a back-bench revolt, all of which required great effort and some financial cost?
Nigel, words actually count for little unless they are backed up with deeds. So where were you when all this was happening? Making speeches in Brussels that no one was listening to, getting drunk in bars, claiming huge sums in EU expenses, etc, etc.
Sorry Nigel, but you had nothing to do with it! You even declined to sign Nikki’s petition until you were confronted by her in London. And only because the media were filming you! And that was after the original petition was handed in to Number 10!
Let us not forget that Farage even told members not to sign Nikki’s petition because it was a waste of time! Indeed, two UKIP MEPs admitted that they had been instructed not to sign it!
And do you remember UKIP’s ownfeeble and half-hearted attempt at raising a petition? It achieved nothing – apart, that is, from an expenditure of a substantial six figure sum. Now where did that money go? Nigel, can you enlighten us?
We now see that the Daily Express is also claiming credit for the referendum! Laughable!
So UKIP’s reason for existence now comes to an end. Bye, bye UKIP! No wonder the odious Paul Nuttall looks worried!
UKIP Roundup: Crowther, Towler, Neville and Farage
.
Is there anyone who thinks that Steve Crowther – Farage sycophant and wannabe MEP – would make a good elected representative of the British people? Then they should have listened to his shambolic appearance on Any Questions!
Crowther has never been known for his intellectual qualities and that soon became VERY apparent when the subject of Olly Neville came up! Crowther bumbled, Crowther waffled, Crowther stumbled. But his evasive tactics failed to impress. He then finally had to admit that he had sacked Mr Neville.
Crowther’s ONLY ability is a willingness to do exactly as he is told. Farage knows that he’s desperate to become an MEP and would sell his own grandmother for advancement in the party. Farage chooses his sycophants well!
We just pity members in the SW who may face the prospect of this cretin being their number two candidate in the MEP elections!
Ollygate
The Olly Neville saga continues to rumble on! Richard Lowe, UKIP’s PPC for Chester, was forced to resign after local party leaders said they would not campaign for “anyone who publicly supports same sex marriage”. LINK
And how we laugh at the odious and disgusting Gwain Towler’s attempts to spin UKIP out of this whole sordid business! And how ironic that Towler is the one forced to do Nigel’s dirty work when it comes to handling the media! How it must stick in Towler’s throat to condemn Mr Neville for his stance on gay marriage! After all, is not Mr Towler bisexual?
And let’s not forget that Towler is hardly the sort of person that any self respecting party would want as their spokesman, let alone UKIP’s moral guardian! He has more skeletons in his cupboard than Dr Frankenstein!
As Dr Eric Edmond has pointed out in his blog:
“there were serious and potentially UKIP national campaign busting allegations made about Mr Towler. The SWRCC, on whose list Towler appeared as number 3 held a long meeting that I was asked to recuse myself from which I did. That meeting voted for Towler to stand down as a UKIP candidate. It went to the NEC where Farage had Towler reinstated on the SW slate. That is what Farage means by democracy in EUKIP. You do and say what Nigel wants.”
“Documentation concerning these allegations still exists. It may surface this time.” LINK
In the money
Nigel’s begging letter
And so the Fuhrer has sent out yet another begging letter to the membership! We advise UKIPPERS to reject Farage’s call for money UNTIL he tells them just how much he’s donated to the party fighting fund himself. And why not ask him about that £211,000 that ‘vanished’ from the SE accounts? And how about a request for an audit of that £2 million he claimed in expenses as an MEP?
