Hi,
under normal circumstances one might feel that Nigel Farage has every right to complain at being called to account for having an ancestor 150 years ago who was
Belgian, especially when one considers that Belgium had not even been invented then!
However he is more than somewhat ‘hoist on his own petard’!
You may recall his personal selection of David Bannerman and his promotion of him as being the nephew of Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman, the first Prime Minister and I believe ONLY PM to die in 10 Downing Street!
The truth of the matter was that Sir Henry and his wife had no progeny and investigation showed that there was no realistic link between David Bannerman and the former PM beyond a tenuous possibility that both Sir Henry had a common ancestor with David Bannerman some 190 years ago.
That the press have tried to make much of Farage’s distant relative is merely a case of ‘Live by the sword you will die by the sword’ leaving neither UKIP nor Nigel Farage with grounds for complaint.
Minded of the proclivities of both David Bannerman & Nigel Farage, both of whom seem to be very challenged in terms of political ideologies with David Bannerman all too willing to betray anyone and lie to everyone to gain personal advancement and like Nigel Farage having little understanding of political dogmas, all too willingly confusing Libertarian with libertine – assuming heredity to be of importance as seem to be claimed of both let us not forget other traits of loyalty that seem familial and note it is a wise man who knows his father!
That genuine heredity is usually matriarchal has all too sound a reason. There is no provenance of any descendency in such families in paternal terms!

Ancestry: MEP Nigel Farage has ancestors that lived in the area now known as Belgium
Outspoken UKIP leader Nigel Farage caused uproar when he told EU President Herman Van Rompuy he had the ‘charisma of a damp rag and the appearance of a low-grade bank clerk’.
In 2010 he accused the Belgian of having ‘a loathing for the very concept of the existence of nation states’, adding: ‘Perhaps that’s because you come from Belgium, which is pretty much a non-country.’
Ordered by EU officials to say sorry, MEP Farage said: ‘The only people I am going to apologise to are bank clerks.’ He was fined £2,400, but has carried on mocking Belgians and the man he called ‘Rumpy Pumpy’.
So it came as a shock to the Brussels-baiting MEP last night to learn his roots are far closer to those of his favourite Belgian punchbag than he could have imagined.
Farage is directly descended from Georgius Ferauge, who lived in the Ardennes, a region that straddles France and Belgium.
Monsieur Ferauge, Farage’s great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather was born in Fumay, just on the French side of the border with modern-day Belgium, in 1681.
For centuries, the town was fought over by warring European princes.
Ferauge emigrated to Swallowfield in Berkshire in the early 1700s during the reign of Louis XIV, France’s ‘Sun King’.
Over the years, Ferauge was anglicised to Ferridge and then to Farage.
Farage, 48, who has a German wife, said last night he had no idea of his ancestral ties with the Ardennes.

‘I still think Belgium is a non-country and prefer British democracy to being ruled by a Belgian President of the EU,’ he said.
‘It is not about who you feel you are – it is about what system of government you should live under. I accept the Ardennes geography but not the nationality. Belgium didn’t even exist in the days of Georgius Ferauge. It was the Spanish Netherlands, wasn’t it?’
Let us also remember that the loathing of the area that is now called Belgium, just as angrily divided as when the Farage family CHOSE to leave 150 years ago, is not well served by its enthusiasm for paedophelia, its odious past Prime Minister, who now leads The Tory’s Group in The EU, and the impressions of ‘ET phone home’ that so undermine the Presidency of The EU’s pretend parliament with the unimpressive Mr. van Rumpy.
All credit to Mr. Farage’s incredibly distanced ancestor, he did at least quit the region and continental EUrope by choice – just as have other members of the Farage family since! Wisely, like Polish and Rumanian imigrants of today they believed that living in Britain offered them, and their families, a better future.
In Britain all of us can reasonably expect a better future WHEN we Leave-The-EU, save perhaps Nigel Farage who will loose his generous income stream, funded by bribes from the taxes extorted at the rate of £50M a day from the British peoples as a tax for EU membership! The most expensive club in the world when suffice that we were merely members of The WTO and trading globally as a sovereign nation as a part of The Anglosphere able to enjoy our position within The Commonwealth.
Let’s Leave-The-EU now.

TO LEAVE THE EU
What is the Exit and Survival Plan for these United Kingdoms to maximise on the many benefits when we Leave-The-EU. It is the DUTY of our Politicians and Snivil Cervants to ensure the continuity, liberty and right to self determination of our peoples – they have a DUTY to protect against crime and secure both our food and our borders.
They also have a duty to put in place contingency plans for the collapse of The EUro & The EU or the wishes of the peoples of Britain to Leave-The-EU.
NONE of these DUTIES has a single British politician upheld for over 40 years. They have drawn their incomes fraudulently and dishonesty.
Politicians are failing to tell the truth, but so are almost all wanabe Politicians, the Main Stream Media and Snivil Cervants.
The fact is that even if EVERY British MEP wanted change in The EU it would achieve NOTHING, at very best if they ALL agreed they would then still have less than a 10% say in the governance of Britain by The EU.
Every single British Politician, of EVERY Party, elected since before we joined the EUropean Common Market, has promised to change The EU’s CAP – In 40 Years they have achieved absolutely NOTHING towards that unanimous promise!
To try to put a value on OUR Freedom is as futile as floccipaucinihilipilification and as odious as the metissage of our societies, as we rummage in the ashes of our ancestors dreams, sacrifices and achievements, the flotsam of our hopes and the jetsam of our lives, consider the Country and Anglosphere which we thus leave our children and the future, with shame!

Diktat is imposed from The EU but Law should be made at Westminster, for our Country & our Peoples, by the peoples of our Country.
It is time that the entire mechanism of governance in these United Kingdoms, which has so clearly failed our Country and our peoples, was radically overhauled and updated to democratic status – failure to change will mean when we Leave-The-EU and/or it finally collapses, as it surely will, we will be no better off as the self same self styled, self enriching clique will be all too willing to betray us as they have done relative to The EU and its fore runners.
To achieve change support rational planning as with The Harrogate Agenda and similar thinking of gravitas.
Demand a Royal Commission on the cost benefits of leaving The EU and of remaining its vassals with a clear ‘Exit & Survival Strategy‘ for implementation OR responsible contingency planning dependent on THEN holding a Referendum on IN or OUT to Let-The-People-Decide!
