I find it is not just the overt apparent incitement to racial hatred that is both manifest and troubling in the odious style of his glib denunciation of the values and superstitions of others when based merely on his own bigoted and fascist style upheld by his own superstitions.

That much of his view point is a part of the inadequacies and fear of those sharing his views who are endemic in large areas of UKIP.

Be minded that although it was Farage who founded and leads the odious anti Jewish, anti Islamic, anti homosexual, racist, violent and extremist EFD Group to which both Nigel Farage & Gerard Batten are devout adherents and have, with others, prostituted the supposed, nay claimed, values and aims of UKIP – for their personal gain and interest!

A Ukip MEP who is under fire over his remarks about Islam also suggested banning halal and kosher slaughter of animals and outlawing the legal recognition of Islamic banking.

In 2011 Gerard Batten was the author of a four-page paper entitled “Confidential draft – Dismantling Multiculturalism”, which was billed as a policy discussion document with “suggested policies that could be adopted by political parties and governments”.

It was sent to members of Christian Concern, a group that believes that abortion should be illegal and homosexuality is a sin. Batten said he held a meeting with them and sent a document to some of their members.

The paper claims that multiculturalism has failed and offers a doom-laden warning about the threat of radical Muslims. “Islamic fundamentalism is the cuckoo in the western multicultural nest. We can either address it now or be destroyed by it in the course of time,” he wrote.

A future government should also ban the religious slaughter of animals, he suggests. “Repeal the act of parliament that gives exception for ritual slaughter for religious reasons. These are outmoded and barbaric practices that have no place in the 21st century or in the light of humane animal welfare policies,” he wrote.

Batten also suggested that Ukip might consider dropping any laws that recognise Islamic banking: “Repeal the Act (???) that gives official recognition to Islamic banking.” There are no references to Islamic finance in UK legislation, according to the Treasury.

On Tuesday, the Guardian reported that Batten supported the creation of a code of conduct for British Muslims and argued for a ban on new mosques in Britain. Batten is an MEP representing London, and is top of the party’s list for the city in the elections in May.

On Wednesday, before details of Batten’s latest policy position emerged, the Ukip leader, Nigel Farage, was forced to disown the London MEP’s call for a “charter of Muslim understanding”.

Farage said: “This was a private publication from Gerard Batten in 2006 and its contents are not and never have been Ukip policy. No such policy proposals would have been accepted by Ukip in any case. Ukip believes in treating people equally.”

The party is keen to shake off its image as a disparate group of eccentrics and to approach May’s European elections as a serious electoral force.

David Cameron described them as “a bunch of fruitcakes, loonies and closet racists”. Batten described the 2011 document as an “off-the-top-of-my-head draft of a document which was for a policy discussion which so far has never been published”. He said it was “a rough draft which I would like to publish in due course but it’s not one of my priorities at the moment. You can’t hold me to anything in it.”

He declined to say whether he supported banning religious slaughter, but added that he made those suggestions to ensure they had a lively discussion. “If you put a few off the wall things down it makes the conversation interesting, doesn’t it?” he said. In the paper, under the heading “Policy suggestions”, Batten also wrote that the government should consider dropping the display of languages such as Hindi, Urdu or Polish from public institutions.

“There must be one language used in national and political institutions and publicly funded places (excluding historical differences such a Welsh in Wales or Gaelic in Scotland). In England only English must be displayed in public buildings such as local and national government offices, universities, colleges, schools, hospitals, clinics etc” he wrote.

Multiculturalism has failed

Multiculturalism depends on the proposition that all cultures, cultural beliefs, customs and practices are equally valid. Mass immigration into many western countries for the last forty years or more has brought with it some cultures and cultural practices that are alien to western cultures and liberal, democratic political systems. Instead of taking a robust attitude against these alien practices western countries have mostly adopted an attitude of appeasement and cultural relativism. Western Governments have been terrified of criticising or standing up against these practices for fear of being branded ‘racist’ or ‘Islamaphobic’.

Most European and Western countries are multi-ethnic societies and is no reason why people of difference racial and ethnic origins cannot live together peacefully; but to do so requires emphasising those things we have in common rather than those things that separate us. It requires that all citizens living in a given state have broadly the same allegiance, loyalty and belief in a common set of public and political institutions and the acceptance of one legal system. Multiculturalism does precisely the opposite: it creates different and competing groups within one public and political space and is a recipe for division and conflict.

Many European and Western countries have adopted a policy of state-sponsored multiculturalism, designed to preserve and enshrine the beliefs and cultural practices of migrants and to protect and advance them by law and public subsidy. The objective was that the policy of multiculturalism would help absorb and integrate vast waves of migrants from foreign lands. In that it has conspicuously failed – as now has been publicly attested by figures such as Trevor Philips Head of the Race Relations Commission, President Angela Merkel of Germany, President Sarkosy of France, and latterly Prime Minister David Cameron of the UK, to name just four.

However from the point of view of those groups that use multiculturalism to promote their own separate interests it has and is succeeding and they have a vested interest in seeing it continue.

Private Multiculturalism Good: Public Multiculturalism Bad.

A clear distinction must be drawn between private and public multiculturalism. The private practice of religious and cultural beliefs, customs and traditions should be precisely that – private. We can all enjoy the private practice of different cultures and beliefs and share them with our friends and neighbours. That is a good and positive thing that can help bring people together.

The public policy of state-sponsored multiculturalism is quite another thing and it has created an increasingly more fractured, divided, contentious and uneasy societies. It cannot go unsaid that the biggest beneficiaries of this public policy of multiculturalism are Islamic fundamentalist and extremists who use it to extend their own power and influence in order to bring about their long term goal of an Islamic or Islamic dominated state in each one of those countries where they settle. Multiculturalism also undermines those moderate Muslims who wish to embrace Western values but see power and influence being extended to their extremist co-religionists.

Islamic fundamentalism is the cuckoo in the Western multicultural nest. We can either address it now or be destroyed by it in the course of time.

Dismantling Multiculturalism

This short paper is not a detailed history, analysis and critique of multiculturalism and its failure. It is taken as a given that it has failed and has to be dismantled. The points below are suggested policies that could be adopted by political parties and governments of any political colour and in any country in the world that wishes to preserve and promote common western liberal democratic values. The points below are specifically aimed at Britain but can adapted as required.

Policy Suggestions

Recognise that Christianity is the cultural heritage of Britain and affirm the secular nature of government and public institutions. This should be recognised by an exception for the Church of England as the historically established church but bishops should be removed from their positions in the House of Lords and the Monarch should lose the power (exercised through the Prime Minister) to appoint the Archbishop of Canterbury.

A commitment to end the policy of state-sponsored and funded multiculturalism by local and national government.

A commitment to promote a common public culture, expressed in a common language (excluding existing historic regional differences), one legal system and one set of political institutions – none other should be formally recognised by the state.

There must be equal application of the law. There can be no separation of people based on religious practices in public places, e.g. in swimming pools and hospital chapels.

There must be one language used in national and political institutions and publicly funded places (excluding historical differences such a Welsh in Wales or Gaelic in Scotland). InEngland only English must be displayed in public buildings such as local and national government offices, universities, colleges, schools, hospitals, clinics etc.

Repeal the Act of Parliament that recognises Sharia law in some tribunals, (e.g. for family law, child custody, inheritance etc). Sharia law must be given no official recognition or legal status whatsoever.

Repeal the Act (???) that gives official recognition to Islamic Banking. There must be no financial or banking regulations based on religious law.

Repeal those Acts (???) which give recognition to polygamous marriage for tax or social security and benefits purposes. There must be no official or legal recognition of polygamous marriages.

Stop all government funding to organisations that promote religious fundamentalist or extremist views, e.g. the Muslim Council of Britain, the Quilliam Foundation, the Union of Imams & Mosques in the UK and Ireland etc. Any organisation that requests public funding must be required to sign and actively abide by a Code of Conduct (see Appendix I).

Social Security and benefits payments can only be claimed in English where the recipient has been living in the UK for 12 months or more. For those who have entered the UK and do not speak English subsidised English classes must be made available.

No granting of planning permission to religious organisations that: do not abide by and actively practice a Code of Conduct (see Appendix I); are funded from outside the UK unless they have a special dispensation from the Home Secretary, such dispensations should discretionary and will only granted where it can clearly be shown where the money originates from, and where it can be demonstrated that it is not from extremist sources, or is intended to promote religious fundamentalist or extremist views.

Repeal the Religious Hatred Act (???). The promotion of hatred or violence against individuals or groups is catered for under the normal criminal law. No religious belief system or ideology may be protected from criticism by law.

Ensure that the law on forced marriages and female genital mutilation is rigorously enforced.

Religious schools should only be allowed where they can sign and show actively to abide by a Code of Conduct (see Appendix I).

Repeal the Act of Parliament that gives exception for ritual slaughter for religious reasons. These are outmoded and barbaric practices that have no place in the 21^st century or n the light of humane animal welfare policies.

Something on the funding of universities???

Enact a law of face coverings in public places. (see Appendix II)

minded that Gerard Batten’s anti Islamic stance and the very clear position that was so very likely to be seen as incitement to racial hatred in the form of his involvement with The Charter for A Muslim Code of Conduct was published in 2006 almost eight years ago and was featured on this blog extensively since then with articles and publication of the full text which I very clearly denounced as far back as 2007, if not earlier, Nigel Farage’s desperate attempts to distance himself from the publication and its apparent racist views is utterly disingenuous and clearly dishonest.Nigel Farage & Gerard Batten have worked side by sider for some 20 years and are inextricably joined at the hip in the most crass and amateur ‘Good Guy Bad Guy’ relationship through those years.It is utterly implausible that Nigel Farage had no part in the publication as documentation will clearly show.

Even the most gullible must surely find this croc of PR spin unpalatable – Just where is the denunciation of the stance Gerard Batten took by Nigel Farage, for I can not find it until all of a sudden we are expected to believe his Damascine Conversion of the last day or two!

Just how gullible does the arrogant hubris of Nigel Farage believe the British peoples to be? Particularly as you will note Nigel Farage’s fierce defence of his extremist, racist, anti Jewish, anti homosexual associates in his vile EFD Group which he personally launched and founded – with this in mind it is not just the claims of Alan Skedd that give credence to the comments about ‘nig nogs’ nor the injudicious use of ‘Bongo Bongo Land’ relative to foreign aid by his placeman as an MEP and his flatmate Godfrey Bloom that gives the lie to his claims.

Nor does Nigel Farage’s pursuit of personal income and the use of his personal staff and alleged long term mistress and publicly funded confidante to support his pursuit of his EFD Group and efforts to form it as a Pan EU Political Party:

Enquiries from concerned UKIP members about European Political parties provoke examination of the “NO” campaign’s agenda.

Having looked at the “NO” campaign’s efforts in ‘Independence’, they have been prompted to ask if this means that the real, hidden agenda is (a) to establish control over MEPs, (b) to control who MEPs employ (c) to control how often they go to Brussels (d) to control how long they spend in Brussels (e) to control how their budgets are spent and (f) to control how they vote.

Which leads on to what really lies behind the “NO” campaign, which is to roll back time and throw away all the achievements of the last ten to fifteen years, abandon the platform which Brussels gives to the Party, trash the electoral advances of successive elections, and return the Party to the status of a fringe pressure group, a talking-shop.

Their logic is that this would put an end once and for all to any engagement by the Party with corrupt federalising EU institutions and return it to a pure and unadulterated state.

Above all it is to undermine, even reverse, the clear mandate given at the Leadership election in 2010 when this very agenda was decisively and utterly rejected by the Party’s membership.

Also of concern to a corresponding member is the wording of the Question for the ballot paper.

At the risk of boring people to death, this is very much a technical issue because it is by numbers of MEPs who join that the amount of grant and how it is allocated is determined. Recent defections from the EFD group have already affected UKIP funding in Brussels as they will reduce any grant we receive if the membership agrees to allow this to go ahead. So the question has to address whether we allow our MEPs to join or not. There is nothing sinister about it: the question has to reflect the reality of what will take place.

The Ukip leader, Nigel Farage, has distanced himself from the views of his own immigration spokesman, Gerard Batten, after the London MEP proposed a special code of conduct for Muslims.

Ukip stressed that asking Muslims to sign such a document had never been one of its policies, even though the launch of Batten’s “proposed charter of Muslim understanding” used to be promoted on the party’s website.

Batten, who was on Wednesday campaigning for Ukip in the Wythenshawe and Sale East byelection, told the Guardian this week that he could not see how any “reasonable, normal person” could object to signing the charter, which calls on Muslims to accept equality, reject violence and accept the need to modify the Qur’an.

In a separate video interview from 2010, Batten also proposed a ban on new mosques across Europe, suggested Muslim countries should not be “appeased” and warned of the threats of having “two incompatible systems living in the same place at the same time”.

A number of MPs and MEPs condemned Batten’s comments, with Robert Halfon, a Tory MP, accusing him of taking an “unbelievably sinister” position comparable to asking members of the faith to wear a yellow star.

Halfon, who is Jewish and has spoken out repeatedly against Islamic extremism, said he considered Batten’s views frightening.

He tweeted: “Big difference [between lawful] Muslims & extreme Islamists. UKIP MEP Batten’s statement a 1st step to wearing a Yellow Star.”

Sarah Ludford, a Liberal Democrat MEP for London, also criticised the comments, saying they “rip apart Ukip’s pretence” that it treats everybody equally.

“His offensive blanket stereotyping of Muslims as jihadists speaks volumes about Ukip’s extremism and should warn voters that voting Ukip means associating with hatred and Islamophobia,” she said.

Two prominent Muslim MPs, Sadiq Khan and Rehman Chishti, condemned the “offensive” idea of a charter for Muslims. Chishti said Batten, who is Ukip’s immigration spokesman, should not be allowed to stand again as an MEP.

Meanwhile, Syed Kamall, the Conservative leader in the European parliament, who is a Muslim, left a letter on Batten’s empty seat at the parliament chamber in Strasbourg, offering him a guarantee that he had no intention to commit acts of violence or promote extremism.

“Do you have a form I can sign already?” asked Kamall. “I am anxious to assure you that I have no intention of mounting any attacks on unsuspecting infidels, nor of attempting to radicalise you or anyone else.

“If the forms aren’t ready yet, perhaps you would take this note as my guarantee? My wife and family would be most reassured to know you will allow me to stay in Britain, especially since I was born here. Please feel free to drop into my office to discuss this over a cup of tea. I promise you will be entirely safe.”

Mohammed Shafiq, the chief executive of Muslim think tank the Ramadhan Foundation, said asking one particular community to sign a “loyalty pledge” against violence was “offensive and an insult to all decent people”.

In response to Batten’s comments, Farage said in a statement: “This was a private publication from Gerard Batten in 2006 and its contents are not and never have been Ukip policy. No such policy proposals would have been accepted by Ukip in any case. Ukip believes in treating people equally.”

It comes as Farage tries to rid the party of “Walter Mitty” types after a stream of controversies. These include the party’s suspension of a councillor for blaming flooding on gay marriage and the ejection of the MEP Godfrey Bloom following comments about women and sending foreign aid to “bongo-bongo land”.

It also comes the day after Ukip distanced the party from Mujeeb ur Rehman Bhutto, its former Commonwealth spokesman, who was revealed by BBC Newsnight to have once been part of a kidnapping gang.

With Ukip hoping to top the polls in May’s European elections, Batten is top of the party’s MEP candidate list for London, having passed a round of psychometric testing to make sure his views were acceptable.

Batten told the Guardian he had written the charter in 2006 with a friend, who is an Islamic scholar. Asked on Tuesday whether he still believed Muslims should sign the charter, Batten said: “I don’t suppose the pope would disagree with it or the archbishop of Canterbury or anybody else. So why should they feel aggrieved that they might be asked to sign? They don’t have to. If they don’t believe in those five points, they don’t have to sign it.”

In a press release from the time, published on Ukip’s website, Batten calls on Muslims to sign a five-point affirmation, in which they would promise to accept equality, reject violence in the name of religion, and accept a need to “re-examine and address the meaning and application of certain Islamic texts and doctrines”.

Asked why Muslims had been singled out, rather than followers of other faiths, Batten said: “Christians aren’t blowing people up at the moment, are they? Are there any bombs going off round the world claimed by Christian organisations? I don’t think so.”

In a statement to the Guardian, Batten later said: “I would expect the fundamentalists to agree with me that democracy is incompatible with fundamentalist Islam. Moderate Muslims have to decide which side of the argument they are on.

“Who is in favour of jihad? Apart from the jihadists of course? I was, and still am, happy to speak out against it. It is amusing that the Guardian equates being opposed to extremism and jihadism as ‘overlapping with the far-right’. So are leftwing liberals in favour of jihad? If not, do they overlap too?”

it is good to see the media slowly waking from its torpor and publishing facts that were published on this blog in November 2009 and which Gerard Batten distorted and lied about to the police, together with other material he sought to suppress and also to misrepresent in an attempt to dupe the Metropolitan Police into bringing a prosecution against me for, in order to silence the supply of facts regarding him and also about UKIP.

Fortunately the police saw through Gerard Batten’s dishonesty and took no further action.

It is largely due to the fact that Gerard Batten was happy to tell lies and bear false witness against me to protect himself that leads me to believe that he did likewise regarding Jasna Badzak and may well have lied to both the police and the Courts to silence her revelations about his racism and criminality – perhaps you should read the Court transcripts and decide for yourself and note the length of the show trial and the bizarre comments of the Judge and the obvious lack of documentary evidence! It is also worth noting how long the case was regarding the claimed simple error of overpayment of salary!

I tend to find the claimed guilt of Jasna Badzak as more a reflection of the dishonesty and odious nature of Gerard Batten than ever it exposed Jasna Badzak, clearly an incensed employee who turned whistle blower on the racism and corruption of Gerard Batten who I know to be a liar and without principles.

As now it seems The Guardian has seen fit eventually to expose!

A Ukip MEP believes that British Muslims should sign a special code of conduct and warns that it was a big mistake for Europe to allow “an explosion of mosques across their land”.

Gerard Batten, who represents London and is member of the party’s executive, told the Guardian on Tuesday that he stood by a “charter of Muslim understanding”, which he commissioned in 2006.

The document asks Muslims to sign a declaration rejecting violence and says that certain parts of the Qur’an that promote “violent physical Jihad” should be regarded as “inapplicable, invalid and non-Islamic”.

Critics said his comments represent the “ugliest side of Ukip” and “overlap with the far-right”, in spite of the efforts of party leader Nigel Farage to create a disciplined election machine ahead of the European elections.

Asked on Tuesday about the charter, Batten told the Guardian he had written it with a friend, who is an Islamic scholar, and could not see why “any reasonable, normal person” would object to signing it.

Batten also repeated his view that some Muslim texts need updating, claiming some say “kill Jews wherever you find them and various things like that”.

“If that represents the thinking of modern people, there’s something wrong, in which case maybe they need to revise their thinking. If they say they cannot revise their thinking on those issues, then who’s got the problem –us or them?” he added.

Asked why Muslims have been singled out, rather than followers of other faiths like Christians or Jews, Batten said: “Christians aren’t blowing people up at the moment, are they? Are there any bombs going off round the world which are claimed by Christian organisations? I don’t think so.”

Farage’s attempts to rid the party of “Walter Mitty” types comes after a stream of controversies about Ukip politicians, including the party’s suspension of a councillor for blaming flooding on gay marriage and the ejection of MEP Godfrey Bloom following comments about women and sending foreign aid to “bongo-bongo land”.

However, Batten – Ukip’s spokesman on immigration and a former candidate for London mayor – appears to have held some controversial positions on Islam for some time. His “proposed charter of Muslim understanding” was written in 2006 by Sam Solomon, a former Muslim who converted to Christianity, with a foreword by the MEP himself.

Asked on Tuesday whether he still believed Muslims should sign the charter, Batten said: “I don’t suppose the pope would disagree with it or the archbishop of Canterbury or anybody else. So why should they feel aggrieved that they might be asked to sign. They don’t have to. If they don’t believe in those five points, they don’t have to sign it.”

In the 2010 interview, Batten suggests a ban on new mosques in “our cities” and warns it was wrong to have allowed so many already.

“They don’t allow Christian churches or Hindu temples to be built or any kind of non-Muslim place of worship in many of their countries and certainly not in the heartland of their religion,” he said. “Well, if they don’t allow it, why can they expect to see their religion tolerated somewhere else?

Asked about his views on the building of mosques, Batten told the Guardian: “Why do we allow the wholesale building of mosques by a religion that refuses in its heartland to acknowledge other people’s right to worship a different religion?”

And pressed on whether he was confusing individual Muslims with the actions of some Muslim states, he said: “They should be protesting about people being arrested in Saudi Arabia for carrying a bible. Maybe that’s what they should be getting upset about and protesting about. Showing they are in the same mindset as the rest of us.”

Rehman Chishti, Tory MP for Gillingham and Rainham, said Batten’s position was “shocking”, particularly the charter’s suggestion that parts of the Qur’an should be rendered “inapplicable”. “If Nigel Farage had any credibility, he would quite clearly not allow this individual to stand for office in Ukip,” he said.

Sadiq Khan, Labour’s shadow London minister, also said he was “appalled at the ignorance that Gerard Batten appears to have shown when speaking about the faith that I and hundreds of thousands of British Muslims practice”.

Mary Honeyball, a Labour MEP for London, said Batten “represents the ugliest side of Ukip”. “Batten’s views overlap with the far-right. The idea that Muslims should be singled out in the way he suggests is a relic from a darker, more prejudiced time,” she said.

Some of Batten’s other controversial views include bringing back the death penalty for certain crimes. He has also sought to highlight the issue of powerful politicians attending the secretive Bilderberg conference and immigration of Romanians and Bulgarians.

“Who is in favour of jihad? Apart from the jihadists of course? I was, and still am, happy to speak out against it. It is amusing that the Guardian equates being opposed to extremism and jihadism as ‘overlapping with the far-right’. So are left-wing liberals in favour of jjihad? If not, do they overlap too?”

Do remember that Gerard Batten is associated with Mike McGough who is a proven liar and cheat. Do remember Gerard Batten permitted the publication of a private letter from John Wise permitting the bullying and lies of the vile Mike McGough on the internet. Do remember that Gerard Batten failed to do ANYTHING to address the corruption of the MEP selection process and the returning officer’s report. Do remember Gerard Batten did absolutely nothing publicly to support his staff member Lynda Robson in her Official Complaint as per Returning Officer’s exposure of corruption and dishonesty. Gerard Batten has not so much as murmered to block association with racists, xenophobes, anti Jewish, pro violence, sexually intolerant colleagues in the Farage Pan EU Political Party/group. Multiculturalism has failed

Multiculturalism depends on the proposition that all cultures, cultural beliefs, customs and practices are equally valid. Mass immigration into many western countries for the last forty years or more has brought with it some cultures and cultural practices that are alien to western cultures and liberal, democratic political systems. Instead of taking a robust attitude against these alien practices western countries have mostly adopted an attitude of appeasement and cultural relativism. Western Governments have been terrified of criticising or standing up against these practices for fear of being branded ‘racist’ or ‘Islamaphobic’.

Most European and Western countries are multi-ethnic societies and is no reason why people of difference racial and ethnic origins cannot live together peacefully; but to do so requires emphasising those things we have in common rather than those things that separate us. It requires that all citizens living in a given state have broadly the same allegiance, loyalty and belief in a common set of public and political institutions and the acceptance of one legal system. Multiculturalism does precisely the opposite: it creates different and competing groups within one public and political space and is a recipe for division and conflict.

Many European and Western countries have adopted a policy of state-sponsored multiculturalism, designed to preserve and enshrine the beliefs and cultural practices of migrants and to protect and advance them by law and public subsidy. The objective was that the policy of multiculturalism would help absorb and integrate vast waves of migrants from foreign lands. In that it has conspicuously failed – as now has been publicly attested by figures such as Trevor Philips Head of the Race Relations Commission, President Angela Merkel of Germany, President Sarkosy of France, and latterly Prime Minister David Cameron of the UK, to name just four.

However from the point of view of those groups that use multiculturalism to promote their own separate interests it has and is succeeding and they have a vested interest in seeing it continue.

Private Multiculturalism Good: Public Multiculturalism Bad.

A clear distinction must be drawn between private and public multiculturalism. The private practice of religious and cultural beliefs, customs and traditions should be precisely that – private. We can all enjoy the private practice of different cultures and beliefs and share them with our friends and neighbours. That is a good and positive thing that can help bring people together.

The public policy of state-sponsored multiculturalism is quite another thing and it has created an increasingly more fractured, divided, contentious and uneasy societies. It cannot go unsaid that the biggest beneficiaries of this public policy of multiculturalism are Islamic fundamentalist and extremists who use it to extend their own power and influence in order to bring about their long term goal of an Islamic or Islamic dominated state in each one of those countries where they settle. Multiculturalism also undermines those moderate Muslims who wish to embrace Western values but see power and influence being extended to their extremist co-religionists.

Islamic fundamentalism is the cuckoo in the Western multicultural nest. We can either address it now or be destroyed by it in the course of time.

Dismantling Multiculturalism

This short paper is not a detailed history, analysis and critique of multiculturalism and its failure. It is taken as a given that it has failed and has to be dismantled. The points below are suggested policies that could be adopted by political parties and governments of any political colour and in any country in the world that wishes to preserve and promote common western liberal democratic values. The points below are specifically aimed at Britain but can adapted as required.

Policy Suggestions

Recognise that Christianity is the cultural heritage of Britain and affirm the secular nature of government and public institutions. This should be recognised by an exception for the Church of England as the historically established church but bishops should be removed from their positions in the House of Lords and the Monarch should lose the power (exercised through the Prime Minister) to appoint the Archbishop of Canterbury.

A commitment to end the policy of state-sponsored and funded multiculturalism by local and national government.

A commitment to promote a common public culture, expressed in a common language (excluding existing historic regional differences), one legal system and one set of political institutions – none other should be formally recognised by the state.

There must be equal application of the law. There can be no separation of people based on religious practices in public places, e.g. in swimming pools and hospital chapels.

There must be one language used in national and political institutions and publicly funded places (excluding historical differences such a Welsh in Wales or Gaelic in Scotland). InEngland only English must be displayed in public buildings such as local and national government offices, universities, colleges, schools, hospitals, clinics etc.

Repeal the Act of Parliament that recognises Sharia law in some tribunals, (e.g. for family law, child custody, inheritance etc). Sharia law must be given no official recognition or legal status whatsoever.

Repeal the Act (???) that gives official recognition to Islamic Banking. There must be no financial or banking regulations based on religious law.

Repeal those Acts (???) which give recognition to polygamous marriage for tax or social security and benefits purposes. There must be no official or legal recognition of polygamous marriages.

Stop all government funding to organisations that promote religious fundamentalist or extremist views, e.g. the Muslim Council of Britain, the Quilliam Foundation, the Union of Imams & Mosques in the UK and Ireland etc. Any organisation that requests public funding must be required to sign and actively abide by a Code of Conduct (see Appendix I).

Social Security and benefits payments can only be claimed in English where the recipient has been living in the UK for 12 months or more. For those who have entered the UK and do not speak English subsidised English classes must be made available.

No granting of planning permission to religious organisations that: do not abide by and actively practice a Code of Conduct (see Appendix I); are funded from outside the UK unless they have a special dispensation from the Home Secretary, such dispensations should discretionary and will only granted where it can clearly be shown where the money originates from, and where it can be demonstrated that it is not from extremist sources, or is intended to promote religious fundamentalist or extremist views.

Repeal the Religious Hatred Act (???). The promotion of hatred or violence against individuals or groups is catered for under the normal criminal law. No religious belief system or ideology may be protected from criticism by law.

Ensure that the law on forced marriages and female genital mutilation is rigorously enforced.

Religious schools should only be allowed where they can sign and show actively to abide by a Code of Conduct (see Appendix I).

Repeal the Act of Parliament that gives exception for ritual slaughter for religious reasons. These are outmoded and barbaric practices that have no place in the 21^st century or n the light of humane animal welfare policies.

Something on the funding of universities???

Enact a law of face coverings in public places. (see Appendix II)

One must wonder what twisted mind outside of Nazi Germany would believe this acceptable or even moral – Herman Goerring would be proud of Gerard Batten’s efforts and many will remember Nigel Farage & Mark Croucher‘s collusion to exploit their BNP friends like Buster Motram who was a family friend of Nigel farage’s whom he had personally sponsored within UKIP as with his own Election Agent from The National Front!

Nigel Farage was set to not just orchestrate his own Crystal Nacht to seek to rid himself of his enemies (those who believed in probity and that ALL were answerable to the members and the rule of law) – Their own Reichstag Fire was in place and when triggered by Farage at an NEC meeting the low grad clowns on the NEC like puppets jumped through every hoop placed before them.

The result of this ‘Night of The Long Knives’ was the removal of Dr. Eric Edmond & Dr. David Abbott from the NEC despite their undeniable elected status. The removal of honest men made way for more sycophantic and dishonest puppets – the likes of the fantasistDouglas Denny, the odious and idiotic Mick McGough and others – now UKIP has the misfortune of the Tory reject and the image of sleaze that the risible Niel Hamilton brings as his main contribution to his own very personal ambitions!

In UKIP’s desperate and dishonest effort to pretend they are not racist regardless of the indisputable evidence they are clearly willing to waive any realistic concept of competent vetting as what on earth else could explain the utter failure of leadership to end up with an international criminal, a kidnapper and such a low life as

Just who will Farage try to pass the buck to this time as he has so frequently in the past in his efforts to remain stuffing his pockets, his ego and it seems not infrequently members of his EU and UKIP salaried staff!

Yes indeed Nigel Farage with your false boasts and febrile claims of excellent results when clearly UKIP is no closer to having any kind of breakthrough in British domestic politics even on a local level having out of over 1,750 possible seats in last years Local Elections and ZERO MPs in the last 21 years all they achieved was a risible 147 elected seats of whom they have lost somewhere approaching 20 due to internal squabbling, racism and the clearly batty!

Yes indeed Nigel Farage as the BNP vote collapsed as a result of their failures of leadership it would seem you Nigel Farage almost all your MEPs and Nick Griffin were on the same master classes for personal gain judging by your results though to be sure as the BNP collapsed UKIP gained members from amongst the ranks of BNP supporters.

Yes indeed Nigel Farage it is not just pride and hubris that come before a fall and nemesis but clearly the higher up the tree the monkey climbs the more you see its assinine behaviour.

So just who do you intend to blame this time for the latest in a long line of leadership failures and stupidities.

IF UKIP is to have a future in British domestic politics other than to be a rather unpleasant irritant that demeans the body politic with its dishonesty, incompetence and lack of leadership then sadly it MUST be without Nigel Farage and both his clique of parasites sharing the leadership and the claque of followers.

May I draw the attention of readers to the advice given by Sir David Bell to Michael Gove ‘Don’t believe your own hype’ and also he said ‘Mr. Gove should not surround himself with yes men’.

Perhaps Sir David might like to change the name Gove to Farage and mail him a copy of this excellent advice!

As a minimum this makes it clear ALL staff and candidates for senior positions should be forced to provide a CRB AND sign a declaration.

The saddest part of this debacle is that many of us have been warning of just such an incident as being inevitable due to the lack of leadership and formal structure and propensity for making decisions and policy on the hoof. Unfortunately Farage has been allowed to run the party as his personal feifdom resulting in it being more a cult than a serious entity and IF Farage had the integrity to carry the can and leave it is unlikely his party would survive, in any form.

Mujeeb Bhutto was jailed for seven years in 2005

A man who served as UKIP’s Commonwealth spokesman for a year is the former leader of a kidnapping gang in Pakistan, BBC Newsnight can reveal.

Mujeeb ur Rehman Bhutto’s gang were behind a high-profile kidnapping in Karachi in 2004 and he then took a £56,000 ransom payment in Manchester.

In 2005, Bhutto, of Leeds, admitted being the gang’s “boss” and was jailed for seven years by a UK court.

UKIP said Bhutto, 35, had “recently” resigned his party membership.

A party spokesman said: “When we recently became aware of possible issues relating to his past and raised the matter with him, he resigned his membership.”

Bhutto regularly appeared as UKIP’s Commonwealth spokesman, and as a party representative, in local and national media.

He organised a trip to a Leeds mosque for party leader Nigel Farage and canvassed with UKIP candidate Jane Collins during the 2012 Rotherham by-election.

‘Beheading threat’

Bhutto, who said he had left the party in December, told Newsnight he had admitted the charges against him in 2005 rather than risk being sent back to Pakistan and hanged.

“The evidence which was bought against me was from Pakistan. The allegation was simply because of political rivalry,” he said.

There were two things that were different about this case. One was that there was an involvement with a city which was 5,000 miles away in the UK. The second was that the guys who did it actually got caught”

He said he planned to appeal against his conviction for conspiracy to blackmail.

Bhutto said he had been granted political asylum in the UK in 2008 and that the case against him in Pakistan had been thrown out by the country’s Supreme Court.

But senior Pakistani police sources insisted that Bhutto was still wanted in Pakistan.

In June 2004, a gang led by Bhutto kidnapped Ahmed Naeem, the son of a wealthy businessman, at gunpoint from a car on a Karachi residential street.

Five days later Bhutto flew to England.

He then negotiated a ransom payment with Mr Naeem’s father, Mohammed Naeem.

“I have the power to give you such torture that you won’t forget it for the rest of your life,” Bhutto said in calls to Mohammed Naeem that were recorded by Pakistani police and reported during his 2005 court case.

Bhutto at one point threatened to have Ahmed Naeem’s head cut off and sent to his father, according to court evidence.

Police in Karachi assisted the victim’s family, and a police source delivered a £56,000 ransom to a car park at Manchester’s Arndale shopping centre. Ahmed Naeem then was released by the gang in Pakistan.

Bhutto was swiftly arrested by Greater Manchester Police in co-operation with Pakistan police.

The £56,000 ransom was found hidden in Bhutto’s bed in a house in Leeds, and he was forced to repay it when he appeared in court.

He was sentenced under the name Majeebur Bhutto.

“You came to the UK to avoid the risk of detection in Pakistan, where kidnapping is a capital offence,” said the judge, Martin Steiger.

The other gang members were initially sentenced to death in Pakistan for the offence of kidnapping for ransom, but their sentences were commuted to life in prison in 2007 and one was released.

“Kidnappings have really gone through the roof in Pakistan. It’s the main form of getting money for many terrorist organisations,” said Shahed Sadullah, former editor of The News, part of the bilingual paper The Daily Jang.

“There were two things that were different about this case. One was that there was an involvement with a city which was 5,000 miles away in the UK. The second was that the guys who did it actually got caught.”

In a regional UKIP newsletter from May 2013, Bhutto stated that he had been a member of the party since 2011.

“Our policy in UKIP is not to attack foreign nations, but to work with like-minded parties and support them so there is no export of terrorism to our shores,” he said.

During an appearance on BBC debating show The Big Questions in March 2013, when he was frequently referred to as “UKIP’s Commonwealth spokesman”, Bhutto said: “We want controlled immigration where we know who’s coming in, who’s going out.”

UKIP candidates, associations and official social media channels have previously posted messages indicating that Bhutto had a role as a UKIP representative, beyond being just a party member.

“UKIP have plenty of quality spokesman… Mujeeb Bhutto,” UKIP Bradford and district chairman Jason Smith wrote on Twitter in May 2013.

“Watch UKIP’s Mujeeb Bhutto speak out against mass uncontrolled immigration on the BBC’s Big Question,” read a tweet from UKIP’s official Twitter feed in March 2013.

Jane Collins, said on Twitter in March 2013 that Mr Bhutto was “fantastic on BBC Big Question this am. What an asset for UKIP”.

In the course of the last month, Twitter, LinkedIn and multiple Facebook profiles of Mujeeb Bhutto have been deleted from the internet.

“If you don’t have any discipline and tight screening of candidates, you are perpetually going to be in trouble,” said Matthew Goodwin, of policy institute Chatham House and co-author of Revolt on the Right: Explaining Support for the Radical Right in Britain.

“UKIP are certainly trying to professionalise, to move away from its more amateurish origins.”

Bhutto said he had now rejoined the Conservative Party, but the Tories said they had no record of that.

Labour in Brussels behind ‘anonymous’ UKIP smear site.

A few years ago, an anonymous website called UKIP Watch sprung up, claiming to be ‘exposing’ UKIP. With a (very little) bit of digging, UKIPLiverpool was able to discover that the website had in fact been set up by a Labour party member in Brussels:

In the last few days it has begun to be shared around Facebook again, as a reminder of what we will come up against in the next few months.

With UKIP membership on the rise, and now that we regularly poll third place in the polls, we must look out for, and expose the lows that our opponents will stoop to to discredit us.

Labour and the Conservatives both know that they can’t attack us on our policies, as their attacks only serve to alienate the electorate more and more. They’re too stubborn to realise that the reason we are popular is because only we are in line with public opinion, so they won’t change their policies.

These under-the-radar attacks are going to look more appealing to those parties in the run up to the European elections, as we continue to make in-roads into areas that they consider ‘theirs’.

Entitled “Claiming Your Refund”, Ms Sinclaire argues that as net contributors to the European Union, any EU funding given to West Midlands businesses is simply a refund of the money we are giving to the European Union.

The new guide gives signposts for various funding available from the European Union and gives guidance on where to start to access this money.

The EU provides funding in the form of loans and grants for a broad range of projects andprogrammes covering areas such as education, health, consumer protection and environmental protection. There are also huge grants available in the field of ICT.

Nikki Sinclaire said,

“As a member of the EU’s employment committee, I’m in a privileged position in that I get to speak to many West Midlands SME’s and they tell me that even accessing information about EU funding guidelines can prove to be very difficult.

clearly Godfrey Bloom is largely correct, whether one agrees with his foolish foot in mouth outbursts, his whoring, his lack of manners taste or common sense or his behaviour as he urinates in hotel flower pots and copulates with prosititutes on the bonnets of cars on the public highway – there is no doubt he does represent a large section of the membership of UKIP.

Bloom may represent the values of many in UKIP and let us not forget he was personally selected as a placement by Nigel Farage and selected by him as the lead candidate to ensure he became one of Farage’s MEPs (that is how democracy works in Farage’s UKIP).

Godfrey Bloom has hit out at Nigel Farage for scrapping Ukip’s 2010 manifesto, saying the party has adopted a “no-policy policy”.

In a strongly-worded warning to his former colleagues, the independent MEP said the party was turning into a “don’t-frighten-the-horses, all-things-to-all-men, pale blue party”.

Writing for Politics.co.uk, Bloom lashed out at the party leadership for branding its 2010 manifesto “drivel” and undertaking a professionalisation drive aimed at getting so-called ‘Walter Mitty’ characters out of Ukip.

“The current lurch to the no-policy policy will damage Ukip in 2015,” he wrote.

Farage promised a beefed-up screening system for Ukip candidates this week, in a bid to draw a line under a stream of controversial comments from party officials.

Ukip councillor David Silvester recently said extreme weather was the result of the same-sex marriage bill while former Ukip donor Demetri Marchessini paid the Telegraph for a bizarre “open letter” to columnist Libby Purves branding homosexuality an “abomination”.

UKIP does seem to have something of a deathwish!

I appreciate that the police have opted to take the matter no further however it is clear that he is very much a Tory reject who they believe has been in abuse of expenses and have distanced themselves from.

I appreciate many will think that an ex Tory with an alleged penchant for expenses fiddles will fit in perfectly with UKIP where many of their MEPs have been found guilty of expenses fiddles and ordered to repay tax payers money fraudulently obtained; including Jeffrey Titford, Nigel Farage, Derek Clark, Graham Booth and Tom Wise who was sentenced to two years in prison.

It is also worth noting that Stuart Agnew and David Bannerman are under investigation for their theft of public money by OLAF. There may also be others!

No doubt David Parsons believes he has much in common with UKIP’s leadership!

Former Leicestershire County Council leader David Parsons has joined UKIP.

Mr Parsons, who quit County Hall and The Conservative Party following an expenses scandal in 2012, has today travelled down to London to meet the leader of his new party, Nigel Farage.

He said his old party, Labour and the Liberal Democrats were “tired” and only UKIP “truly represents the hopes and ambitions of the people in our country.”

The politician’s switch follows an announcement earlier this month that he would face no further action following an 18 month police investigation into alleged financial irregularities over his expenses. The inquiry related to trips he made to Europe during his nine years in charge at County Hall.

Mr Parsons has been serving as an independent member of Blaby District, representing the Muxloe ward along with his wife, Liz, who has also today joined UKIP.

The Mercury understands Mr Parsons hopes to stand as a UKIP candidate in the next year’s General Election in a Leicestershire seat as yet to be decided.

The former Tory said: “For many years I have served the people of Leicestershire as both a county and a district councillor and it has been an honour.

“Since resigning from the Conservative Party 18 months ago I have served as an independent councillor at Blaby District Council but I feel the time is now right to align myself to UKIP.”

Separately to that investigation, in June 2012 the council’s standards committee censured Mr Parsons and concluded he had disregarded four key principles of public life – honesty, integrity, accountability and leadership by allowing more than £5,400 of the council’s cash to build up in his personal bank account. Those expenses should have been promptly transferred to the council and in October 2012, Mr Parsons publicly “fully and unreservedly” apologised for failing to reimburse the authority promptly.

He further apologised for failing to change the arrangements for reimbursement despite requests to do so by senior council officials, and for “failing to help” auditors investigating expenses claims.

Mr Parsons said his time, as county council leader, spent on the Committee of the Regions in Brussels, which comments on EU policy had proved to him how Europe had failed.

He said he agreed with UKIP’s stance on immigration but hoped he “may be part of a new thinking inside the party.”

He added: “At a time when so many of us are struggling to make ends meet, we are left to the whims and fancies of a Tory/Liberal coalition.

“I believe that UKIP is now the only political party who truly represent the hopes and aspirations of the people in our county.

“I have always been a champion of local government, and in UKIP, we have a party which believes in real democracy at a local level. I’m delighted to have been welcomed into the UKIP family and look forward to taking our message of fresh, common sense politics to the people of Leicestershire.”

UKIP East Midlands MEP Roger Helmer, himself a former Tory, said: “I’m delighted to have two councillors with the experience of David and Elizabeth, joining our growing team in Leicestershire.

“As local residents continue to turn their backs on the three tired old parties, UKIP stand ready to show voters a real alternative to the establishment, a political party which puts the electorate first.”

“For years, David and Elizabeth have done an exceptional job of serving local people, and of standing up for the best interests of residents in Leicestershire. I know they will build on that record now as UKIP councillors.”

Mr Helmer said he did not consider accepting Mr Parsons into the party was a risk.

He said: “There were some issues raised and they were investigated. We want to look to the future not the past.

there was a proud boast made by some fool that UKIP’s candidate John Bickley had no internet presence – funny how that inclines one to start checking!

I have read a number of internet articles about John Bickley since then and when one reads articles like the one below, one wonders what else is being hidden!

UKIP candidate John Bickley, standing in the Wythenshawe and Sale East, by-election, took nearly £100,000 from an EU-backed fund.

UKIP’S candidate in the Wythenshawe and Sale East by-election took nearly £100,000 of EU cash to prop up his business, the M.E.N can reveal.

Before he joined the party, Cheshire tycoon John Bickley’s tech firm Genemation accepted the grant from a Brussels-backed fund but has now decided to stand on an anti-Europe ticket.

In recent days, Mr Bickley, widely tipped to come second in next month’s poll, has slammed British governments for ‘outsourcing’ control to the EU.

His party’s central message is that the country should withdraw altogether from Europe.

But the M.E.N can reveal that when his software company was looking to relocate from Manchester to Liverpool in 2006 – at the time in debt to the tune of nearly £1m – it accepted £95,000 from the Liverpool Seed Fund.

The £27m investment pot – £20m of which was provided by the EU – had been set up to help boost regional growth.

At the time the company moved, Mr Bickley – then CEO, company secretary and a director of Genemation – told the Liverpool Daily Post: “The backing and support from the Liverpool Seed Fund was crucial and we are looking forward to working closely with the fund as we develop.”

The company went into liquidation in 2009, owing more than £450,000.

UKIP’s fortunes in the upcoming Wythenshawe and Sale East by-election have been the subject of widespread speculation ahead of the European polls on May 22.

The party’s central policy is that Britain should withdraw from the European Union.

Mr Bickley was announced as the party’s candidate last Thursday and in an interview shortly afterwards he said: “Parliament has outsourced the running of this country to the EU.

“It needs to take responsibility. I love Europe, its people and culture, but Labour and the Conservatives have subjugated – by stealth – control of this country to the EU and its quangos.”

Speaking to the M.E.N. he said his stance was in no way hypocritical, because he was not a member of UKIP at the time.

He added: “If you are a director of a company and you are responsible for raising money for that company, you would be in breach of your duty to the shareholders if you introduced your political belief system.”

He ended up make a loss from his involvement in the firm, he said – while standing by his belief that the country is better off outside the EU.

“In terms of sources of money, there’s plenty of sources of money out there in he market place … the money that may come from the EU is a pittance in the context.”

Hi,

when will it dawn on Nigel Farage it is not about what he says but about what he does and the example he sets – it is all very well having the title ‘leader’ but without the ability clearly your party will never develope beyond a cult.UKIP may be a very successful cult already but it is making the move from the cult of today with a ruthless, self serving, dictatorial ‘leader’ and having a competent team and not just fans who act as praise singers in return for prefferment. It is not just the general public who would find it hard to name a single solitary person in UKIP other than Nigel Farage and Gorfrey Bloom but news editors and media presenters struggle much beyond two or maybe three people to call on in the party.

Of course Farage has dictated in the party for almost 20 years and thus his party is made up of people who are no challenge to him who know when to praise him and who he wants destroyed!

The lack of any basic program of training or example from the leadership clique is why UKIP ends up in the headlines getting bad publicity time after time, as the better informed will realise and which may well account for UKIP’s abysmal and consistent failure in General Elections and other national domestic elections where after 20 years UKIP still has less than 150 councillers and no one of public note or stature.

Farage berating people like Godfrey Bloom, Marta Andreasen and David Bannerman gives you the measure of the man since each was his own golden wonderkid selected and promoted by him personally without due process or meaningful democracy!

Just as it was at Farage’s personal demand that he set up and ran his Pan EU EFD Political Group of extremists, fruitcakes, nutters, racists, anti homosexuals and advocates of violence where UKIP aids and assists them both financially and with added clout, or so he claims!

Farage can indeed turn a ‘smart’ sound bite just as can any ‘Delboy’ or spiv but iot is not a matter of what he says – lies though much of it is, plausible as it may sound but what UKIP as a Party does and achieves and to date that amounts to not a lot.

It is also worth noting that Nigel Farage has fallen out with over 50% of those he chose as candidates who were elected! Blaming others for ones own failings is the sign of a particularly weak and insecure man!

Nigel Farage has admitted that Ukip made mistakes in its early days by letting in “Walter Mitty” characters who have damaged the party’s reputation.

The Ukip leader urged his candidates to “professionalise” ahead of the European elections in May after a string of blunders last week led to widespread ridicule.

He said Ukip must get better at screening out new members who might prove to be “disappointments” and bring the party into disrepute.

Speaking to The Times, he said Ukip had a “struggle with talent in the early days” but added: “It’s very natural that a newish party will attract all sorts of people.”

He described some former members of Ukip as “Walter Mittys seeking a role in politics which, in the end, they will let down not just us but themselves with”.

Last week Ukip councillor David Silvester sparked fury by blaming the recent flooding on the Government’s decision to legalise gay marriage.

Mr Silvester accused David Cameron of acting “arrogantly against the Gospel” and added: “It is his fault that large swathes of the nation have been afflicted by storms and floods.”

Day later Mr Farage himself provoked a wave of anger by claiming women with children were worth less to city firms than men.

He courted further controversy by labelling the ban on handguns in the wake of the Dunblane massacre “crackers”.

It emerged yesterday that Godfrey Bloom, who was expelled from the party last autumn after describing women as “sluts”, taunted a disabled Oxford student by asking him: “Are you Richard III or not?”

He compared David Browne, an undergraduate from Belfast, to the medieval king who suffered from a spine deformity during an Oxford Union debate last Thursday.

Mr Farage called for greater discipline among the Ukip members and said he would not tolerate further embarrassment from candidates voicing eccentric views.

He plans to set up day-long assessment centres to find top quality candidates for next year’s general election to prevent people who are “just about the odd barmy opinion” being picked.

“It’s really to try and work out whether these are reliable, steady, solid people,” he said.

“We must together be campaigning on similar issues,” he said.

“I need us to have a disciplined election machine.”

But he insisted he did not want to create “a new Labour outfit where they’ve all got pagers on their belts and they’re told what to say and think.”

Mr Farage believes a third of Ukip’s supporters are former Labour voters and is keen to extend his influence among blue collar workers.

But the former stockbroker risks alienating himself from working class voters by arguing against limits on bankers’ bonuses.

He said: “We don’t need official caps or limits being placed on these things. Don’t forget that quite a lot of this comes back to people in terms of pension incomes and all the rest of it.

“The very thought that the bureaucrats in Brussels now set the limits we can pay the highest earning people in London is truly astonishing.”

Ukip also boasts supporters from among the City elite.

Last year Mayfair-based investment group Harwood Capital donated £50,000 to the party.

Mr Farage argued the salaries offered to top local government officials and think-tanks are of more concern than bankers’ pay.

He said: “The numbers of people now working in local authorities, working in the quangos, who are earning a hundred thousand pounds a year with quite remarkable pension deals compared to people in the private sector are somewhere where really big savings need to be made.”

On the back of Farage’s foolish comments we realise that it has no meaning as he is trying to sort out his own mess as he has had near absolute power in the party, unchallenged by anyone of competence who remains and on the very day he has been published with his big words we note the actual actions in his party:

Nigel Farage’s attempts to distance Ukip from the extreme views of its members fell apart this morning after a major party donor took out an extraordinary newspaper advert describing homosexuality as an “abomination”.

Demetri Marchessini, who donated £10,000 to Ukip last year, paid the Telegraph for a bizarre “open letter” to columnist Libby Purves complaining about a recent article she had written in the Times.

In a long and rambling text, Marchessini complains about Purves’ description of Russian president Vladimir Putin’s policies on homosexuality as bigoted.

“There are at least 12 places in the bible that describe homosexuality as an ‘abomination’,” he wrote.

“What Miss Purves and many others cannot grasp is the fact that when our government made homosexuality legal, it did not make it moral.

“Governments can decide on laws, but only God decides on morality. How can anybody, let alone Miss Purvis (sic), tell people what they should think about homosexuality?”

The letter contains a lengthy complaint about Purves’ use of the word “homophobic” which he claims is “a phoney word” which “cannot be found in any dictionary”.

The word has been included in the Oxford English Dictionary for at least two decades.

The donor described the word as a combination of Latin and Greek roots, adding: “Anyone who uses it is uneducated.”

In fact, both ‘homo’ and ‘phobia’ have Greek roots.

This is not the first time Marchessini has caused trouble for Ukip. Last year he hit the headlines after claiming that unwed mothers “should be given a good smack” and claiming that date rape allegations “cannot be taken seriously”.

“As there is no violent act, it is difficult to know whether any rape took place,” he wrote.

“The woman’s allegation of rape means nothing. Women have been making such allegations since the beginning of time.”

He also published a book titled “Women in Trousers: A Rear View” in which he claimed that women wearing trousers were committing “hostile behaviour – they are deliberately dressing in a way that is opposite to what men would like”.

A spokesperson for Ukip said they condemned Marchessini’s opinions on trousers.

This may sound outrageous but do bear in mind who Nigel Farage CHOSE as his associates in the EFD Group and do bear in mind the similarity of put down of women between that of Demitri Marchessini and Stuart Wheeler’s denigration of women as chess and poker players, Godfrey Bloom (Farage’s chosen one & flat mate) and his comments about sluts and cleaning behind fridges, and Nigel Farage’s own comments that have in the last week incensed many women! Not to mention the allegations of rape within the party which are still being covered up nd the young lady in question being bullied and intimidated so that there is no meaningful inquiry and police action.
