Hi,
as this blog published quite some time ago the UKIP leadership rigged a vote to arrive at a diametrically different outcome than a mere year earlier – arriving at utterly implausible percentages to permit the Party Leaderr to ignore any democratic input or principles involving party members (Not that that hasn’t been the case for many years!).
It was supposedly agreed that his selected puppets and muppets on the NEC comedy team could, at his bidding, make choices for him as to who would be selected as MEP candidates and the leader could select the position of each candidate on the list.
This was the cunning weeze of the man who admitted to the media that it lacked the skill, infrastructure and ability to vet candidates for the all but irrelevant local elections where the protest vote subsequently delivered 147 UKIP councillors out of almost 2,000 standing!
We now see the corrupt comedy being played out in the rather belated MSM who read this blog and that of Team Junius we are reliably informed hence:
Neil Hamilton lined up as Ukip MEP

You will remember, no doubt, that it was on this blog and that of Junius that the news that the odious and ubntrustworthy scoundrel who so befouled the Tory Party with his corruption was to be a lead MEP candidate for UKIP – Just as we published the fact that Mike Reed and Jon Gaunt were to be similarly presented.
Here are some details showing just how corrupt and dishonest Neil Hamilton is, as supported by his wife:
Here’s a few facts about Hamilton:
CASH FOR QUESTIONS:
On 20 October 1994, The Guardian published an article which claimed that Hamilton and another minister, Tim Smith, had received money, in the form of cash in brown envelopes. It claimed the money was paid to the men by Mohamed Al-Fayed, the owner of Harrods. In return, the men were to ask questions on behalf of Al-Fayed in the House of Commons. Smith admitted his guilt and resigned immediately. Hamilton claimed innocence but was forced to resign five days later, on 25 October 1994.
The “cash for questions” parliamentary enquiry took place in 1997, led by Downey. Hamilton vowed that if the “Downey report” found against him, he would resign.
Edwina Currie, a former health minister, gave evidence. She told the inquiry that in May 1988, Hamilton had been unmoved by a set of photographs that depicted smoking related cancers; that is, harm to young people which might be caused by a product (tobacco) that he promoted.[19] Hamilton argued the pictures were irrelevant. Both Hamilton and Michael Brown had received a £6,000 honorarium and hospitality from Skoal Bandits.[20] In late 1989, Thatcher banned the sale of Skoal Bandit products in the UK.
Downey reported that he found the evidence against Hamilton in the case of Al-Fayed “compelling”. Hamilton received over £25,000 and had deliberately misled Michael Heseltine, then President of the Board of Trade, in October 1994, when he said he had no financial relationship with Ian Greer. In a phone conversation, Hamilton gave an absolute assurance to Heseltine that there was no such relationship. In fact, he had received two payments from Greer in 1988 and 1989, totalling £10,000.[21] Hamilton had asked for payment in kind so the money would not be taxable. He also failed to register his stays at the Hôtel Ritz Paris and at Al-Fayed’s castle in Scotland in 1989.
On 3 July 1997, the enquiry found Hamilton guilty of taking “cash for questions”. Hamilton, Smith (also found guilty), Brown and Michael Grylls were harshly criticised. If Hamilton and Smith had remained in parliament, Downey said he might have recommended long periods of suspension for both. Hamilton rejected these findings, whereas Smith, who had stood down, accepted them, apologised for his conduct, and retired from politics altogether.

You may also remember Jonathan Boyd Hunt’s book which met with scorn when it tried in 1998 to justify Hamilton’s behaviour:

It was clear that Neil Hamilton’s actions added to the reputation of ‘sleaze and corruption’ of the Tory Government – just as I fear it will with UKIP’s efforts in the long run.
Surely UKIP should have learned by now that it is unwise, if not downright stupid, to accept the proteges of Nigel Farage as although he may be a relatively sound performer on the media he is an exceptionally bad judge of character and look where that has led UKIP with his dishonest promises and corrupt selection making such as David Bannerman, Marta Andreasen, Mark Croucher, Sobey Neville, Ashley Mote, Buster Mottram, Gawain Towler, Tom Wise, Kilroy Silk, Annabelle Fuller and many more who have brought shame embarrassment and scorn on UKIP.
You will note the howls of derision from UKIP’s claque of cowardly fools sheltering behind false names – Just as there are many trying to claim we do not hold the screen shots of UKIP employees (in one form or another) attacking and belittling Diane James (despite the clear statement that the media has asked us not to publish them yet and the fact that never ONCE has this blog been shown to be deliberately inaccurate or ever to have made a consequential error of fact!)
Similarly you will note it was first published on this blog that it had been brought to our attention that the so called Senior Pol;iticqal correspondent Patrick O’Flynn would seem to be writing unreliable reports of a partisan nature in return for the offer of a lead position as an MEP Candidate!
BEWARE – Let us not forget that to tempt Robert Kilroy Silk to stand as an MEP candidate in the East Midlands he was promised by the defacto leader of UKIP the leadership of the party – Not at that stage a position in the gift of Nigel Farage at the time but increasingly UKIP has become more and more centralised and authoritarian having substituted Libertine for Libertarian, as a one man band.
