Hi,
it was embarrassing to listen to UKIP’s showman Nigel Farage trying to pass himself off as a leader of a real political party on
Radio 4.
One has to wonder what will happen to UKIP when its only publicly known performer and supposed leader faces a competent, informed interviewer – rather than the largely second rate interviewers who have been fielded to interview him so far!
Facing a series of soft questions regarding UKIP’s pretence of policies he was left floundering!
It was made pretty clear even in this friendly late night interview that UKIP’s ‘Flat Tax’ policy was a dangerous dream based on little more than the opinion of theoretical economists of little note!
The pretence that Flat Tax, abolition of Employers National Insurance contributions and reduction in Corporation Tax will lead to increased revenue may well prove true but is a dangerous and irresponsible aim in the governance of our United Kingdoms when Nigel Farage conceded the interviewers estimate of the loss in revenue of £87 Billion a year!
Putting this in perspective it is worth noting that the foreign aid budget is a mere £7.5Billion and the conservative estimate of £87Billion UKIP policies would lose is over 25% of the total income from personal tax, corporate tax and NI contributions which run to around £300Billion!
Many economists believe the loss of revenue would be considerably greater and it is unreasonable to believe that the increase in income due to resultant burgeoning economic activity and profitable would cover the KNOWN losses – Is our national economy just a gambling chip for a failed City Trader to increase votes for his increased personal income and tax haven overseas deposits?
This KNOWN loss of income is put forward by UKIP as a main plank in UKIP’s economic policy and it is little more than an economic theory!
On the other hand Nigel Farage was reminded that part of UKIP’s other policies included increased student grants, consequentially increased defence spending and better this better that and better the other – ALL costing a fortune in their own right individually!
It looks all too clearly as if UKIP’s economic illiteracy is on a par with Gordon Brown, Dennis Healy and the other Labour Chancellors who sequentially bankrupt Britain with their utter incompetence!
Nigel Farage’s only answer was to try to charm and joke his way out of the hole he had dug himself, as so often on other occasions.
To be accurate and specific Nigel Farage’s only answer was to claim that UKIP’s policies were not goals (thus of no validity!) they were just aspirations – this from a man who has personally drawn £Millions from the public purse!
It does rather look as if we know all too well just what UKIP leadership’s aspirations are and they seem to be willing to associate with some of the most sordid followers of politics to judge by many of their own staff, leadership and supporters – not to mention extremists, racists, Holocaust deniers, anti homosexuals, advocates of violence, xenophobes and proven prejudice against women!

It is NOT more money defence requires but better political leadership, better informed Generals and a huge control of the idiocy of its Generals as they time serve their way to pensions and a string of directorships and consultancies having failed to protect their troops or British values – engaging in half baked mercenary missions with little understanding of the economics or politics and no thought of end game or outcome as proven by the catastrophic involvement in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and more.
For more money for defence merely look to the crass policies of our government and to recoup petty cash place strict and competent control on Military Procurement and The MoD which are compeletely out of control.
We are able to provide a clear picture of UKIP’s crano rectally informed policies and the degree of gravitas and competence of its leadership:
Praise where it is due – there is absolutely no doubt that Nigel Farage is UKIP’s star performer, well actually only performer of any note, and his ability to tell outright lies with conviction is quite staggering – a sociopath without ethics or morality as a leader does NOT represent British values and that he has gathered around him, seemingly deliberately, the gutter sweepings of politics and ne’er do wells on the make and the take goes a long way to explaining why as a party they fortunately have no prospect of governance and still after 20 years hold very few seats in Domestic politics with ZERO MPs, NILL Mayors, NO Police Commissioners and LESS THAN 30 elected Councillors on anything more exalted than parish or town councils!

Results in polls are no substitute for results at the ballot box, results where UKIP trails far behind any prospect of having an MP elected and with a risible number of the 19,500 or so eleted seats in domestic governance.
Let us not forget that UKIP has no training structure, no one of competence to train, a crass and befouled staff presenting a media presence, no structural organogram, a complete lack of gravitas and yob attitude of abuse substituting for competence in debate!
As a long term supporter of the core values of UKIP and with an abiding determination to work to Leave-The-EU and thus to try to clean up and force UKIP to professionalise to make it fit for purpose it is sad to see them still wallowing in the ordure of their own making using cowards and creeps to abuse and bully on their behalf.
Sadly at the ballot box I refuse to spoil my ballot paper by offering a mandate to any party and will once again state my political and economic wish for the future of MY Country – I shall write on my ballot paper Leave-The-EU.
I will continue to do this at every election until some one emerges to represent my values and wishes ethically and thus the values and ethics of these United Kingdoms.
