Hi,

understanding why UKIP never actually achieves anything is quite well put on another Forum, by a long term supporter, who comments but not without a fair bit of remorsefull cynisism having noted what comes around goes around:

UKIP follow the same cycle


1. Do well in European Elections 1999, 2004, 2009
2. Farage creates a fight with someone:
  ~ 1999 – Leader Holmes and NEC
 ~ 2004 – Kilroy-Silk
 ~ 2009 Sinclaire and resigns leadership
3. A long period of naval gazing
4. amateur preparation and conduct of General Election
5. 2001 and 2010 Change of national policy just before election
6. Blame it on everyone else
7. Do nothing for a couple of years
8. realise there is a European Election within a year
9. desperately raise money
10. tell members it is do or die
11. get more MEP‘s
12. ignore members and start cycle all over again

The propensity for making fools gold by presenting it from on top of a dung heap with salaried and self serving piled high as praise singers has been the demise of UKIP.

I say the demise of UKIP based upon their catastrophic failure in UK based elections and their catastrophic alignment with extremist, violent racists and anti homosexual, anti Jewish pro EU membership associates in the sordid EFD Group in The EU.

Similarly I see the catastrophic navel gazing and internal squabbling as having destroyed their credibility and their fracture into two sectors deliberately (due to greed and dishonesty) in forcing a costly and damaging vote on supporting The EU and the Pan EU Political Party policy to eviscerate patriotic national parties which is catastrophic.

The vote outcome could now well destroy UKIP whether Farage’s faction backed by liars like Mick McGough and the duplicitous Stuart Agnew who we understand is still under investigation for the fraud he admitted, win and they accept the EU bribes for supporting the PEPPs or those opposing the sell out of principle win – either way I believe it will do irreprable harm to the party as they have been encouraged to take sides in a particularly dishonest debate.
