do not forget this tragic crime was NOT of a political nature and may well have occured in any party, especially with a low grade individual like a Councillor – especially one who had lost his or her seat!
This web site first published details of this murder when it occured & Searle was charged with the crime in January CLICK HERE

A FORMER Royal Marine who had an affair with his son’s partner faces life in jail for strangling his suspicious Scots wife.
Stephen Searle, 64, had a fling with Anastasia Pomiateeva, 39, after pestering her for sex.
Anne discovered explicit texts and photos on her husband’s phone
Outside court yesterday, Searle’s youngest son Stephen, 29, said: “As you are all well aware, today there has been justice for my mum.
“This year not only have I lost my mum but my dad as well. The part that hurts me the most is the person who took my mum away was also my best friend, my dad.”
He earlier said in an impact statement: “The relationship between me and my brothers has been torn apart.
“It has left a void in my heart which is something I will never get over.
‘I’ve just killed my wife’: Chilling 999 call from killer commando Stephen Searle after strangling his wife
SUFFOLK Police today released a chilling audio clip of the moment Searle called police to tell them he had murdered his wife, Anne:
Call handler: “Hello, can you hear me?
Searle: “Yeah, I can hear you, can you hear me?”
CH: “Yep.”
S: “I’ve er… just killed my wife”
CH:”You’ve just killed your wife.”
S: “Yeah.”
CH: “Okay.”
S: “Bit different for you tonight I expect…Happy New Year.”
CH: “…and how have you killed her?”
S: “Erm… suffocation really, I guess. Bit of a bizarre situation but you know… nevermind.
CH: “Okay, is it just the two of you in the house?”
S: “Er… well just the one of us now.”
CH: “Right, okay.”
S: “Well two… if you like.”
CH: “Okay, is there any other sort of issues that the officers need to be aware of when they come into the house? Is there anything dangerous?”
S: “Erm, not really. I’m not violent, I’m not nothing.”
CH: “Stephen, can I just get you to go and answer the door? I believe we should have some officers there. Are you able to just go and speak to them?”
S: “Okay, they’re here now, are they?”
CH: “They should be there.”
S: “Alright, I’m on me way.”
CH: “Okay.”
S: “I’m on me way as we speak…ah, hello buddies! How are you, alright?”

Searle, 64, lost his seat in Suffolk County Council last year
“Losing my mum has destroyed me. It has left me completely broken.
“If my dad had just admitted what he had done and been honest, it would not have had to go to court.”
Mr Justice Green remanded Searle in custody until today.
Outside the court Det Chief Supt Eamonn Bridger, of Suffolk Police, said: “Anne Searle’s death was a tragic crime and our sympathies remain with her family and friends.”

Suffolk police arrested 64-year-old Stephen Searle following the death of his wife Anne, 62, in The Brickfields, Stowmarket.
Officers were called at around 10.30pm on Saturday, December 30, to find a woman who was unresponsive.
Paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service attended, but the woman was declared dead at the scene.
She has been formally identified as Anne Searle.

A Home Office post mortem was carried out on Sunday, with more tests to be carried out.
He will appear at South East Suffolk Magistrates’ Court in Ipswich this morning.
Searle stood for the UKIP party in the Suffolk County Council elections, securing a seat for Stowmarket South in May 2013.
His election material said he was a former Royal Marine commando.
In May last year he stood again but lost to Conservative Mid Suffolk council leader Nick Gowrley.
He also ran as a UKIP candidate for the Central Suffolk and North Ipswich seat in a bid to become an MP, but finished last of the five candidates, including Conservative MP Dan Poulter who retained the seat.

Peter Reeve Councillor, bully, liar & bath a UKIP & Tory Employee held in low regard it seems!
What an embarrassment that even his friends & the media believed he might have shot and killed an off duty Police Officer!!

Hi,
Peter Reeve Councillor in Huntingdonshire being a bully and a liar & being both a UKIP & Tory Employee is seemingly held in low regard by many of his alleged friends it seems!
What an embarrassment that even his friends & the media believed he might have shot and killed a person in the street who happened to be an off duty Police Officer!
.
Namesake councillor called over gunman
A councillor said he was bizarrely bombarded with calls from the media and even friends because he shares the same name as a gunman sought by police after the killing of an off-duty police officer in Clacton.
Cllr Peter Reeve, UKIP leader on Huntingdonshire District Council, who also represents Ramsey on Cambridgeshire County Council, said: “I had a lot of friends ringing up to check and I also had calls from the media, including television crews.”
Police were hunting for Peter Reeve, 64, from Clacton, in connection with the shooting of PC Ian Dibell on Monday after he intervened in what appeared to be a dispute between neighbours.
Yesterday officers confirmed Reeve had been found dead at a churchyard in Essex.
It does rather speak volumes that quite genuinely there were those who would seem to have believed he might be the type of person who would kill someone in a street confrontation and be armed to do so!
I appreciate that he has in the past been investigated for assault and that he is clearly a rather unsavory character, but it does reflect rather badly on both UKIP and The Tory Party that he has been in their employ and clearly is thought possible to have been capable of this killing – not by fantasising nutters like David Icke or Matt Quinn, but by his friends and the media!
You will note that several days ago I Tweeted that
David (The Desk) Bannerman thus named when he lied about his relationship to the onetime Liberal PM who died in office justifying his dishonesty by claiming his father owned Sir Henry Bannerman’s desk!
David Bannerman a Tory MEP, at the moment, had been censured by his boss, the leader of the Tories in The EU, for continuing his relationship with Peter Reeve, a UKIP staff member!
I felt that Reeve was not of adequate significance to bother with a blog on his dubious behaviour and left it to Junius who chose to write on the matter see CLICK HERE.
However that Reeve’s friends and the media would seem to consider he might actually be capable nay even a suspect in a random street killing causes me to change my stance albeit I still consider him to be of little or no political relevance, save as an embarrassment for both the Tories and UKIP it would seem – not, it would seem, for the first time!
That Peter Reeve was employed when funded by UKIP, fraudulently is a matter of public record, as was the fact that he was investigated by the police for assault though despite at least three witness statements the police opted to take no further action subsequent to the assault.
That Peter Reeve then showed the complete lack of integrity to claim to be a supporter of UKIP yet continue to draw his income from the benefit of one of his employers being a Tory and is such a dullard that he does not realise the damaging opinion both the media and his friends clearly have of him!
MAY I STRESS The Peter Reeve guilty of the killing was considerably older than the subject of this blog and as a matter of record the victim of the shooting was NOT as widely reported a Police Officer, as that gives entirely the wrong impression opf the crime, the man shot and killed was a citizen who tried to intervene in a fight in the street where a man and a woman were being shot at with a hand gun.
The citizen who intervened happened to be an off duty policeman. On the evidence as in the public domain the individual concerned is to be applauded as a citizen for the brave, if foolhardy, intervention – He had the advantage we note of being trained as a policeman.
Our condolences to the family and friends of Peter Reeve.
