do not forget this tragic crime was NOT of a political nature and may well have occured in any party, especially with a low grade individual like a Councillor – especially one who had lost his or her seat!
This web site first published details of this murder when it occured & Searle was charged with the crime in January CLICK HERE

A FORMER Royal Marine who had an affair with his son’s partner faces life in jail for strangling his suspicious Scots wife.
Stephen Searle, 64, had a fling with Anastasia Pomiateeva, 39, after pestering her for sex.
Anne discovered explicit texts and photos on her husband’s phone
Outside court yesterday, Searle’s youngest son Stephen, 29, said: “As you are all well aware, today there has been justice for my mum.
“This year not only have I lost my mum but my dad as well. The part that hurts me the most is the person who took my mum away was also my best friend, my dad.”
He earlier said in an impact statement: “The relationship between me and my brothers has been torn apart.
“It has left a void in my heart which is something I will never get over.
‘I’ve just killed my wife’: Chilling 999 call from killer commando Stephen Searle after strangling his wife
SUFFOLK Police today released a chilling audio clip of the moment Searle called police to tell them he had murdered his wife, Anne:
Call handler: “Hello, can you hear me?
Searle: “Yeah, I can hear you, can you hear me?”
CH: “Yep.”
S: “I’ve er… just killed my wife”
CH:”You’ve just killed your wife.”
S: “Yeah.”
CH: “Okay.”
S: “Bit different for you tonight I expect…Happy New Year.”
CH: “…and how have you killed her?”
S: “Erm… suffocation really, I guess. Bit of a bizarre situation but you know… nevermind.
CH: “Okay, is it just the two of you in the house?”
S: “Er… well just the one of us now.”
CH: “Right, okay.”
S: “Well two… if you like.”
CH: “Okay, is there any other sort of issues that the officers need to be aware of when they come into the house? Is there anything dangerous?”
S: “Erm, not really. I’m not violent, I’m not nothing.”
CH: “Stephen, can I just get you to go and answer the door? I believe we should have some officers there. Are you able to just go and speak to them?”
S: “Okay, they’re here now, are they?”
CH: “They should be there.”
S: “Alright, I’m on me way.”
CH: “Okay.”
S: “I’m on me way as we speak…ah, hello buddies! How are you, alright?”

Searle, 64, lost his seat in Suffolk County Council last year
“Losing my mum has destroyed me. It has left me completely broken.
“If my dad had just admitted what he had done and been honest, it would not have had to go to court.”
Mr Justice Green remanded Searle in custody until today.
Outside the court Det Chief Supt Eamonn Bridger, of Suffolk Police, said: “Anne Searle’s death was a tragic crime and our sympathies remain with her family and friends.”

It Is Said ‘There is no such thing as bad publicity’ but even #Ukip must see proof of Racism, Fraud, Child Abuse, Perversion, Corruption, Sexual Exploitation & now Murder as a step too far …
it may seem a little harsh to make any issue of the Ukip association with this murder BUT when you consider the fact that the main UK political parties between them hold over 19,000 elected offices and were any of them arrested for murder the connection with their party would be noted.
The issue here is of the very few elected offices held by a collapsing fringe party like Ukip, which clearly punches above its weight in the meeja and sets such store by publicity that one of that miniscule number is arrested for murder must be seen as more newsworthy than had it been n individual from a large party of consequence.

A murder investigation has been launched after the wife of a former UKIP councillor was found dead at their Suffolk home.
Anne Searle, 62, died at the four-bedroom property she shared with Stephen Searle, 64, who stood for UKIP in last year’s General Election.
Mr Searle is a retired Royal Marines Commando, who sold poppies for the British Legion.
He was elected to Suffolk County Council in 2013, winning the Stowmarket South seat by a single vote.
Police were called to an address in Stowmarket shortly after 10pm on Saturday night and discovered the body of his wife of more than 40 years.
Suffolk Police said a 64-year-old man, who was known to the victim was arrested on suspicion of murder.
The force refused to say if the suspect was Mr Searle.

The couple have three sons and several grandchildren.
It was not known how Mrs Searle, a former pub landlady, died and police said a post-mortem examination would take place in the coming days.
Mr Searle, who was originally from Scotland, lost his council seat in May’s election, coming fourth behind the Tories, Liberal Democrats and Labour.
Speaking after his election, Mr Searle said: “It’s superb to be fighting again for my country, and my people.”
Before retiring the couple ran a pub, known as the Stag Tavern in Stowmarket, but they sold it in 1992.

Two police officers also stood guard outside the front door of the property, which sits on a corner plot of the quiet residential cul-de-sac.
Christmas lights were still hanging from the porch and a festive wreath could be seen pinned to the front door.
Neighbours described their shock after hearing news of the tragedy in the quiet cul de sac.
Neighbour Richard Hallett, 40, said: “I saw the ambulance at about 11pm. There was one ambulance and two rapid response vehicles and three police cars.
“I was watching tv and heard something so I looked out of the window and thought ‘where did that come from?’.
“I thought the gentleman from the house where the woman died worked with the Salvation Army and did the poppy collection.
“He seemed like a nice bloke. We tend to get the poppies from him.”
Another resident, who asked not to be named, said: “I saw a load of flashing lights outside and
thought something must have happened
Steve Searle was elected to Suffolk County Council as a UKIP councillor in 2013
“I never imagined it could be something like this. What an awful thing to happen at this time of year.
“I hope at the very least it was just a tragic accident and not murder, that would just be devastating.”
A spokesman for The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) said: “We received a call at 10.22pm on 30th December to The Brickfields, Stowmarket, to a report of a woman who was not breathing.
“An ambulance crew, ambulance officer and rapid response vehicle were dispatched.
“They treated a woman in cardiac arrest. Despite their best efforts, the patient sadly died at the scene.

A spokesman for Suffolk Police said: “The suspect is a 64-year-old man from Stowmarket, arrested at the scene of the crime shortly after police arrival.
“He has been taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning. The victim and suspect are believed to have been known to each other.”
The force added: “”Police were called to an address in The Brickfields at 10.20pm.
“On arrival at the property a woman, believed to be aged in her 60s, was discovered unresponsive.
“Paramedics attended the address but the woman was declared deceased at the scene.
“The death is being treated as suspicious and a man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
“A police cordon is in place at the property whilst officers carry out an investigation.”
