here is a motivation for clever Trevor Ukip’s nonentity MEP in the West Country with his outdated belief in his abilities in the field of advertising with his costly talking heads CD’s that get watched by seemingly almost no one yet are funded by the Tax payers!

Colman’s two claims to fame seem to have been that he was, in the 1960’s, a member of the largely failed Countryman Inquiry into police corruption in The Met and that when he retired from the police that he acted as an advisor on old style policing for the TV series Wycliffe!

UKIP MEP Trevor Colman has defended claiming tens of thousands of pounds in allowances while barely speaking in Brussels

A UKIP MEP has admitted one of the only reasons he turns up in Brussels is to claim £200,000 in allowances.

Trevor Colman has not done anything in the European Parliament in the last year, and has only taken part in half of votes since 2009.

The South West MEP insisted he could not see the point in making speeches in the Parliament, and instead claimed the taxpayers’ money to fund an anti-EU website.

All MEPs receive a salary of £78,000 but must ‘clock in’ to the Parliament building in order to receive various allowances.

However, Mr Colman has only made speeches or asked questions just 19 times, well behind the average of the five other MEPs in the South West.

Asked whether allowances were a factor influencing his decision, Mr Colman: ‘I wouldn’t say getting the allowances is one of the main motivations, I’m trying to be fair about it, it is a factor, of course it is.’

He was confronted about his expenses during an interview on BBC’s Sunday Politics West show.

Mr Colman said: ‘Why make a speech when you know that it is totally ineffective? That you are there talking to a gallery of about six people, I don’t quite see the point of me doing that.

‘It’s not that I’m not doing anything, I am trying to get us out of this mess and that can only be achieved over here.’

Last year a study found that cosseted MEPs now have incomes up to 20 times higher than the people they represent.

While millions of families across Europe have had their incomes squeezed, most MEPs have enjoyed large increases in their salaries – while continuing to vote through ever-higher budgets for the EU.

The study found that MEPs enjoy an average income of £182,826, including allowances for attendance and travel.

Mr Colman said there was no point in giving a speech to the European Parliament which was often all but emtpy

Mr Colman admitted turning up at the European Parliament to ensure he receives his huge allowances, most of which he spends on a website aimed at removing the UK from the European Union.

He added: ‘The European Parliament has no power, it can’t make or change legislation, it has little or no power, we are in fact just a pantomime taking players to make the illusion of giving democracy where none exists.

The BBC found Mr Colman – who is standing down in May – employs five full time staff, who mainly work on the website, another woman who covers Brussels and Strasbourg, and a part time employee.

Graham Watson, a Lib Dem MEP, said: ‘There is a massive amount that goes on in the European parliament and that’s why most of the members are there full-time doing their jobs,

‘I’m sorry if Trevor Colman finds it so boring, but I would have to ask the question why did he stand in the first place.’

However UKIP chairman Steve Crowther defended Mr Colman’s conduct.

‘We have a specific job to do and we are elected to do it, that is to campaign and work for Britain to come out of the European Parliament,’ he said.

Mr Colman is no stranger to criticism of his behaviour as an MEP – and has been blasted for wasting taxpayers’ money before.

The UKIP member, who stood unsuccessfully in 2004 but won a seat in 2009, said last year that he goes to Brussels just twice a month, for ‘about three days’.

He told the Journal of European Integration: ‘If I don’t come and put my card in the slot to vote, I don’t get my money to give to the party.’

While in December 2010 an investigation by the Sunday Telegraph ranked him in the bottom half of UK MEPS. It calculated that he cost taxpayers £156,415 per year, attended around 83 per cent of parliamentary sessions, and made just 12 speeches, questions or motions.

The figures would seem to suggest that his activity dropped dramatically after he had spent more than a year as an MEP.

He was also criticised by a 2009 report designed to expose MEPs who voted against making Brussels more transparent. He was given the fourth-worst ranking in this category.

Before being elected, Mr Colman had served in Devon & Cornwall police, rising to the rank of superintendent.

He left the force in 1995, and then spent four years advising the ITV detective series Wycliffe

Hi,

it will no doubt be hard for followers of Nigel Farage’s cult and the politically gullible to accept the veracity of the following article as clearly does not sing from the same hymn sheet as their great, and staggeringly isolated, great guru would lead them to believe.

One only has to look at just howmany people said guru has fallen out with and just what hold he has over many in his clique, similarly when we speak of isolation just how vulnerable he is to certain members of his inner retinue the moment he stopy holding the strings and is unable to use tax payers money to hand out inflated salaries and the prowess of over paid positions.

Nigel Farage is particularly poorly advised but then again those around him he has hand selected to ensure they only praise him and are no challenge to him, thus there is no one of sufficient caliber to be of any real use to him as due to his ruthless and unethical style they walk in fear of his ego centric temper and devious nature.

He gives himself away, even to the most naive, by his haste in defaming those who have broken free from his control or those who date to be either critical or ethical.

Rubbish though I may find much of what passes for journalism in the MSM and particularly in The Independent, The Guardian and the gutter press, it is hard to fault the conclusions drawn by Felicity Morse in the article that follows:

Despite Nigel Farage’s prediction that the UK Independence party will cause an “earthquake” in British politics at the European Parliament elections, Britons give Ukip as much chance of winning as finding life on Mars.

Ipsos MORI’s research reveals what the British public think is likely to happen in 2014 compared with the odds offered by Ladbrokes.

Only three in ten think it is likely that they will be the largest party, the same as think the NASA Mars Rover will find evidence of life on Mars, according to the pollsters’ representative sample of 954 adults.

The research company note that the odds from Ladbrokes suggest people are way out on UKIP’s chances as despite this, Ukip are still the most popular bet by far to win the European elections.

According to Ladbrokes, 56 per cent of punters are putting their pounds on the party’s success.

Earlier in January, a YouGov poll showed Labour were in first place and the Tories in third.

However YouGov noted at the time that this didn’t mean Ukip wouldn’t win the European Elections, writing: “In past euro-elections, Ukip’s support has increased as the election approaches.

If this pattern is repeated, Ukip is likely to overtake Labour by polling day.” Bobby Duffy, Managing Director of Ipsos MORI Social Research Institute said: “Predictions are very tricky – as we’ve seen recently, economists and government struggle with forecasting how the economy will do, and are often surprised by better or worse figures than expected.

It’s therefore a bit tough to expect the public to have a clearer picture of the future on these sorts of issues – the “wisdom of crowds” clearly has limits.”

“But it also suggests big gaps in knowledge of some key issues… the lack of awareness of how possible UKIP being the largest party at the European elections is important, as it will be a greater surprise to people if it does happen.”
Nigel Farage disowned his entire 2010 election manifesto last week, saying it was “drivel” and that Ukip would release new ones after the Europeans Elections. He described David Campbell Bannerman, the man who wrote the policy discussion papers as an “idiot”.

Mr Bannerman, who has since defected to the Conservative Party to be a Tory MEP for Cambridge told the BBC Radio 4’s The World Tonight: “It was a very serious paper but Nigel could not be bothered to read it, anything to do with policy and I’m afraid it’s not good enough for someone who’s trying to be or claims to be a serious political leader.

“It’s not a political party, it’s a pressure group. Because Nigel’s on the ropes, he’s lashing out in all directions.”

Mr Farage dismisses these claims, instead writing in The Independent:”Incidentally, the most contested seat in the eastern region is currently between these two candidates.

I thought the first version of this idea was amusing but there is no doubt this is a much better version 😉

This is without a doubt an excellent development of the earlier version, it is sad that UKIP is so bereft of talent that its leader is forced to demean himself and his party by taking the roll of comic.

Good as Nigel Farage’s presentation is his skit lacks the gravitas & leadership skills his position should command & PR department should fulfill.

This weekends Stoke Sentinel

“WHY do you ask about the surgery? Why do you ask physically about the surgery? Is that what made me a woman? Is that the only thing that makes you a woman?”

Nikki Sinclaire is irked. Her transformation from male to female was much more than a question of a hospital visit.

“The media focus in on it,” she says, “and I think ‘why is that so important?’. It’s almost like they have this revolving door attitude. You go in a man and you come out a woman.”

“The operation,” continues the 45-year-old, “is irrelevant. You look around here (we’re meeting in the cafe at the Potteries Museum), you don’t know what operations any of these people have had. You don’t know if I’m lying, if I’ve had the operation or not. Your sexuality is about who you are.”

Nikki is, of course, correct to pull me up. Even the quickest perusal of her book, Never Give Up, reveals the truth of the long drawn out, emotionally draining, physically arduous, horribly judgemental, and relentlessly self-analytical nature of finding yourself trapped in the body of the wrong sex. Football’s Nikki’s game but, considering the obstacles she’s overcome, it might well have been the 4x100m hurdles, with Nikki running all four legs.

Nikki’s one of seven members of the European Parliament serving the West Midlands, a constituency extending from North Staffordshire to Coventry to Hereford.

Formerly of UKIP, she now stands under the banner of her own We Demand A Referendum party. As she puts it, “basically, I’m campaigning for my own redundancy”.

But that’s but a small part of what makes Nikki Sinclaire who she is. For her independent streak has been honed in adverse circumstances. In an ideal world, the fact she’s a transsexual wouldn’t be mentioned. But she was, she claims, forced to reveal all after UKIP threatened to do it themselves.

“They thought that possibly it would undermine me,” she says. “It was a way of pushing me down.”

By writing the book, at least she could reveal her past – and the woman it’s made her – on her own terms. “I ummed and ahhed about it,” she says. “It wasn’t an easy decision. I’ve always thought your past shouldn’t matter.”

And then there were the sensitivities of what to include. “There were things in there that people didn’t know. My father, for instance, didn’t know about the rape. It was going to be one of the things that wasn’t in the book. But as the process evolved, it came into being.”

Sinclaire was raped by a stranger in a London street. Except, back then, it was defined as an ‘assault’. “Regardless of the surgery you’d had,” she explains, “you were still legally a male.” The law has since been changed.

“The big thing the media got wrong again,” she despairs, “is that because I was raped I became a lesbian. That’s not very helpful to people who have been raped.”

While Sinclaire underwent sex change surgery in her mid-20s, the journey began two decades earlier.

“When I was five,” she reveals in her book, “I began having the same dream almost every night. I would wake up as a girl and everything would be all right. Then I really woke up and I was still a boy.”

School only reinforced the feeling something was amiss. “On my first day,” she recalls, “I headed straight for the wendy house where I dressed up in all the girls’ clothing and played happily with the girls and the dolls.

“Things were not right, but what options were there? Better to shut it all off and try not to worry about it.”

Matters failed to become easier with age as, with an awful inevitability, bullying ensued. Nikki’s solution was, put simply, not to attend. She spent her days riding buses, escaping into music, and increasingly experimenting with androgyny. “I knew what was coming,” she writes. “My body would change. It would make me into a man and I wouldn’t be able to stop it. Somehow, someway, I was going to find a way to be the real me.”

Despite her dad’s indignation, she was buoyed by a newspaper article about former Bond girl Caroline Cossey, who’d taken the transgender route herself.

“I felt incredibly happy,” she says. “It made me realise that I was not alone. Until then I’d thought I was some kind of nutcase – that I was the only person in the world who felt like this.”

Still in her teens, it was then, having initially purloined tan tights, pink lipstick and powder compact from her mum, she began dressing as a woman. The first major, and hugely liberating, transformation came when she took the step of donning a dress, changing from her school clothes in a dingy and disused inner city garage, and stepping outside to a brighter, better world. “For the first time in my life,” she says, “I felt right, which was all I had ever wanted to feel. It wasn’t a sexual thing. I had simply found the correct identity. I had a future here.

“I was happier than I had ever been, exultant. All my life I felt as if I’d been trapped in a darkened maze. Now, suddenly, I had found a way out into sunshine.”

Sadly, however, when it came to making the move to a feminine life permanent, the storm clouds once again started to gather. The medical establishment was dismissive. “You are indulging in an adolescent fantasy,” Nikki was told.

And even when doctors did begin to take her seriously, and she was set on the pathway to her current self, there was still ‘the verbal abuse – sarcastic catcalls and wolf whistles, followed by a sneering comment, as I walked down the street’.

“To say it didn’t hurt would be a lie,” she says. “But when you have imagined doing something so big for so long, such slurs become an irrelevance. I knew where I was going and I knew who I was. I wasn’t going to give the bigots power over my life.”

“The operation,” she tells me, “happened as quickly as I possibly could, because unfortunately in those days, I couldn’t see a specialist until I was 21. It’s not like I waited. I was talking to people at the age of 16. I’d have had it at seven, eight, nine, ten!”

Never happier in her own skin, Nikki has, in herself, created a new life. And it’s the experiences she’s accrued along the way, negative and positive, that now drive her as a politician. “It’s that justice thing,” she says, “the feeling that you’ve got to fight back. I’ve had to fight my whole life, but I had the strength and the ability to do that. I have these skills and I’m quite tenacious and I can achieve in other areas.”

But does she fear she’ll always have the word ‘transsexual’ applied before MEP? “Why should it be?” she sparks. “Would you say to someone ‘divorced MEP’, ‘heterosexual MEP’ ‘spinster’? You don’t. So why would you?

“And also,” she adds, “it’s a medical condition. So would you say ‘cancer survivor MEP’, ‘stroke survivor MEP’? Surely that’s discrimination in itself.

“The whole ‘sex’ thing has always got negative connotations. It’s almost like it’s a choice. Why would anybody choose to put themselves through it? You wouldn’t. Because my life could be easier.”

As a politician, Nikki would prefer to use her experience of demonisation to flag up issues of social equality. “When I told the teacher I wanted to be an MP,” she recalls, “she led the whole class in laughing at me. But why can’t a kid with the poorest parents be a leader of this country?”

It’s at this point a chap comes up to say hello. “I’m one of your MEPs,” Nikki tells him. “Are you?” he says. “Well nobody told me about it!”

“I’m one of those who votes on 75 per cent of the laws in this country,” she assures him, attempting to reinforce how we under-estimate the European Parliament’s power.

“The people of Stoke-on-Trent are hugely Euro-sceptic,” she claims. “The only place we’re overrun with Europhiles is Leamington Spa.”

There is one alleged blight on her record that she’d like to be rid of, an allegation regarding expenses dating back to 2010.

“I completely deny any accusations,” she says. “I believe the amount I’m being accused of is somewhere in the region of £8-10,000. Why do I need to steal £10,000?” – she points out her independently audited accounts – “It doesn’t make sense.”

Nikki plans to stand for one more term in Europe. Ideally, she’d then turn her attentions to domestic politics. “Would I like to be an MP?” she asks. “I’d love to be an MP! But an independent MP. You should be representing the people, and politicians forget that.” More realistically, she feels, she’ll enter the charitable sector.

Whatever the next chapter holds, the preceding umpteen tell a truly remarkable tale. “I hope,” she writes, “that my story, and the many obstacles I overcame, will inspire other people from difficult or underprivileged backgrounds to find a way of realising their dreams, personally and professionally.

“The struggle I endured to become the woman I am today has played a critical role in the way I see the world. It has fuelled my hatred of discrimination, and left me with an insatiable desire for fair play and justice.”

“I consider myself incredibly fortunate,” she adds. “I have a job I enjoy, family I love, and I have a special woman in my life that I am in love with and to whom I am deeply committed.”

And the title of the book? It relates to the one and only time she met Margaret Thatcher, revealing her battle to unshackle Britain from Europe. “She seemed to admire my fighting spirit,” she says, “and nodded approval as I spoke. Then she grabbed my hand and her eyes looked into mine. ‘Never give up!’ she said. ‘Please, please, you must keep going! Never give up! Never give up!’ She vanished among the crowd. One imagines Nikki will never allow herself to do the same.

The Sad Saga of UKIP Lack of Leadership & Now Patrick O’Flynn’s personal ambitions are a matter for speculation where if Farage can read it will probably lead to de sanguination as with other rivals!!!

UKIP is at an interesting stage in its development.

A main source of the party’s success is its insurgent flavour – pitching itself to disgruntled voters as outsiders pushing commonsense ideas while shunning Westminster’s polished methods. The popularity that approach has delivered now poses a new challenge: to grow further and capitalise on the poll figures, UKIP needs to professionalise, but without appearing to mimic the “LibLabCon” it loathes so much.

This causes some angst within UKIP’s ranks. Speaking to me recently, a senior member of the party drew a telling comparison: “Not long ago, we were running adverts saying the other parties were run by kids who hadn’t had proper jobs, now we’re hiring people exactly like that”. Others fear constant criticism of some of the party’s more loopy members (Henley’s sexuality meteorologist, for example) risks frightening the leadership away from political incorrectness.

One attempt to professionalise while retaining their radical roots comes in the form of Patrick O’Flynn. Next week he officially departs as the Chief Political Commentator of the Daily Express to become UKIP’s new Director of Communications – an employee of the party for which he is already standing in the European Election.

It isn’t rare for political journalists to move into political PR. Guto Harri left the BBC to work for Boris; Craig Oliver went to Downing Street after 19 years as a broadcast journalist and has now been joined by Graeme Wilson of The Sun; while Ed Miliband employs three former lobby journalists – Bob Roberts (Daily Mirror), Patrick Hennessy (Sunday Telegraph) and Tom Baldwin (The Times).

O’Flynn is the first to decide UKIP represents the next step in his career.

Patrick has always been an early adopter. In a political village full of received wisdom, he has a track record of sticking his neck out.

He picked up the issue of the inheritance “Death Tax” long before Osborne realised its potency, he was instrumental in giving the TaxPayers’ Alliance (TPA) some of its first national media coverage, he spoke up for the “squeezed middle” years before Miliband tried to adopt them and, most recently, he persuaded the editorial team at the Daily Express to make it the first national newspaper to support leaving the EU.

As Matthew Elliott, founder of the TPA, victor of the AV referendum and now Chief Executive of Business for Britain puts it:

“Patrick is superb at spotting hot issues before they hit the radar of the Westminster bubble. His role coordinating the Daily Express’s campaign against inheritance tax culminated in George Osborne making it a big issue and stopping an early election in it’s tracks. He also understood from TPA polling in 2008 that the EU was set to become a big issue and that voters wanted their say in a referendum. His political radar alone will be invaluable to UKIP.”

I remember the 2008 meeting between the TPA and O’Flynn that Matthew mentions. Patrick felt that the EU was harmful, but was sceptical of the Better Off Out position ever becoming a majority view. It seems his research into the subject led him inexorably towards the conclusion that we have to leave – and that it can be done. It must have fitted well with his sense that the people are ahead of the curve, and the politicians behind it – on the EU, as with the Death Tax before it, opinion polls suggest he was right.

While the subjects of his iconoclasm have varied, there’s a coherent theme – a deep suspicion of the Establishment and any consensus it might declare.

Growing up in an unpolitical household in Cambridge, as a comprehensive-educated teenager he took a strong interest in politics. He went on to study Economics at Cambridge University (where, coincidentally, he was mates with David Laws) and – according to friends – was not a socialist, but wasn’t won over by Mrs Thatcher either. Though he showed some interest in the SDP, perhaps foreshadowing his support today for another party that seeks to break the Westminster mould, he never carried anyone’s card – until now.

What could have persuaded an experienced, cynical political journalist, who had spent years involved in Westminster without feeling attracted to any party, to persuade his paper to support one, sign up as a candidate and then go to work for them full-time?

Prominent backers can be risky, as UKIP found out to its cost with Robert Kilroy-Silk. But with a suspicion of Westminster consensus, and anger about the neglect of hard workers in favour of “the fat cats at the top and…a chronically dependent underclass at the bottom”, O’Flynn seems a good fit with what they feel they are about.

Those around him say the feeling is mutual. “He seemed enthralled,” says one in attendance at O’Flynn’s first UKIP conference, “to have found somewhere he could comfortably hang his coat.”

It will be interesting to see how his arrival as a UKIP staffer changes his party’s messages. The tightrope between insurgency and professionalism is not their only challenge.

Over the last 18 months their membership has almost doubled – meaning that new recruits, often unacquainted with political activism or with the internal politics of their new party, may well outnumber the long-suffering hardcore who kept it going for the previous two decades.

It will be O’Flynn’s task to give those troops the right messages to deliver, to help Farage ride out the inevitable stories of activists saying odd or unpleasant things and, I suspect, to act as an informal mentor some of the less experienced staffers who now make up the UKIP team.

With Nigel Farage only recently having undergone back surgery, the trend I wrote about last summer is set to continue:

“For the first time in UKIP’s history, Farage is actively putting forward a range of his colleagues for presentation to the public…The prospect of UKIP developing a slate of viable, effective spokespeople rather than simply relying on their leader would have been unthinkable three or four years ago. Doing so makes them more successful as a party, appealing to different demographics and covering more ground as a team.”

It’s notable that many of those new faces of UKIP – and perhaps almost half of its MEP candidates – are now employees of the party in one way or another. O’Flynn is the latest – others work for MEPs, or in the central operation, or for the EFD group in the European Parliament. The professionalisation of UKIP is quite literal, not simply a change in tone.

Farage’s newfound willingness to allow others into the limelight is undoubtedly a symptom of his realisation that his party can’t rely on him forever. A number of those I spoke to suggested O’Flynn might be an effective successor were Nigel to fall under a bus: “Less pazazz – but while others are full of themselves, he could cut the mustard”, one said.

Those close to O’Flynn seemed genuinely surprised at the idea. ”I doubt he has any desire for it”, one told me, pointing out that he had never stood for anything before he decided to put himself forward for the Euros. But with others tipping him for the job, he’s worth watching.

He may not have stood for election before, but when he finally chose to, UKIP’s members voted him top of his regional list – even above a sitting MEP. In short, Patrick O’Flynn is not an opponent to be dismissed lightly.

‘UKIP’s next leader’ is rather presumptuous surely – when did UKIP have a leader to date, though many have held the title, not counting interim place holders,who could one term a leader amongst Skedd, Holmes, Titford, Knapman, Farage, Malcolm Lord Pearson & yet again Farage?

Farage has been either termed leader or defacto leader since the latter days of Skedd, as the party has blown around in the breeze chasing any willow the whisp that might gain Farage more income – be that Piers Bonde, Declan Ganley or The BNP – a pleasant enough personna on the surface but ruthless, devious and amoral in the service of his very personalised interests and ambitions.

How can a person who has prostituted his party to the shared aspirations of racists, extremists, anti homosexuals & Holocaust Deniers as he has in founding and thus helping to fund his odious Pan EU Political EFD Group of gutter sweepings of the EU’s political dross.

That is not to gainsay Patrick O’Flynn may well fit the mold for the title of leader in the future, when he can out maneuver Farage, his ethics seem not disimilar and are clearly self serving as shown by his astonishing continuance as an alleged leading political journalist in the rather squalid Express, even after his selection as an MEP candidate by Nigel Farage – Do not for a moment believe he or any other candidate on Farage’s list owes their position to anything beyond open adulation of the cult leader.

That UKIP was ostensibly set up to act to Leave-The-EU do not forget that in his 21 year involvement Farage has failed to provide even the most rudimentary exit and survival strategy, has no clear strategy nor even tactics to achieve his aims and as even the media have noticed, though it serves them not to publish the facts, there is no visible structure, gravitas or competence in UKIP – Clearly Farage’s endless ‘band wagon jumping’ and motor mouth invention and announcement of policy on the hoof does little in the long term for UKIP and much damage to the EUroSceptic cause in its endless pandering to the lowest common denominator.

I wonder if they have approached Jeremy Kyle for his following and sponsorship from Justin Beiber would sit easy on their shoulders!

Farage is now obviously on the ropes and trying to spin his problems against former UKIP MEPs.

When his own track record is exposed the public will understand why MEPs have walked away from him in disgust and do not want to be associated with his excesses in all areas.

The MEP resignations from UKIP have taken place over a period of 5 years, many trying to change things from inside UKIP before leaving and knowing that he was the problem, not UKIP members.

There are many other recent high profile resignations including UKIP Chief Executive Will Gilpin and in Scotland Lord Monckton, making more than 20 “big UKIP names” who have recently departed in all.

Of those still sitting with him he recently tried to get rid of Lord Dartmouth and Gerard Batten by marking them down in the MEP “selection process” but he has failed. He also has little respect for the Chicken Farmer but as Stuart worships Farage as “Cock of the Rock” he is safe. John Bufton and Derek Clarke are leaving at the end of the term for personal reasons (both good people)

WHY DID HE LOOSE THE OTHER MEPs?

He ditched the hard work done on the manifesto because he wants to make policy on the hoof.

He stuck with racists in his EFD Group despite complaints from his MEPs, because without them he would lose money (money wins over principle in his world)

He then changed the Constitution to give himself total power, because he knows better than to let members have an honest vote.

He cannot dispose of Annabell Fuller because her story would make front pages and there is much more to say in this area.

He put up with Bloom, who found difficulty keeping pace with Farage’s drinking, until Bloom finally upstaged him!

He has moved total power and all resources to himself using the MEP budgets and taking away all UKIP MEPs rights to attend “delegations” as without their knowlege he used these as bargaining chips to attract foreign MEPs to his EFD Group.(Yet UKIP MEPs were under the impression that the objective was to save taxpayer’s money on “jollies”)

In 2004 he made it a rule, with no exceptions, that no UKIP MEP would employ their wife ….. then Animal Farm style he secretly employed his own wife.

Plenty more to say but the bottom line is that one by one people loyal to UKIP policy try to stop his manipulative madness and then resign.

It short he is a Dictator with major defects which are bringing him the title “Spivboy” and which will sink him before the May election.

All very sad for the good UKIP members who have tried so very hard to build a Party over the last 15 years and more.

I do take issue with Mike Nattrass in his ill informed belief that Derek Clark is a ‘good person’ as he is clearly a proven liar, fraud, bully and thief having amongst other things having been ordered to repay approaching €50,000 of tax payers money he had misappropriated. a sum similar to that which Tom Wise stole and was imprisoned for 2 years – one must assume Clarke did not meet with a similar fate in view of his advanced years and decrepitude.

Just who are Farage’s Barmy 5?

Frankly I don’t rate a single one as with ethical understanding, gravitas,
competence or integrity other than Sinclaire who at least was not prepared to
prostitute her principles for money and an easy ride politically on Farage’s
well bribed Gravy Train.

One wonders how Nattrass has selected his seemingly random figure of 5 MEPs who have lost faith in UKIP or have quit or opted not to stand again:

David Bannerman
Derek Clark
Marta Andreasen
Mike Nattrass
Godfrey Bloom

Which is a considerable percentage of the 12 MEPs elected to sit in Nigel Farage’s party whatever UKIP members might be duped to believe! Particularly when you consider just how low grade and useless are the few that have remained.

There is a very clear case to be made that the only MEP in UKIP who acted ethically and with integrity and has also done a great deal to raise public awareness to help to lead the public towards the aim of Leave-The-EU is Nikki Sinclaire. Sinclaire was prepared to risk her own political career on ethical grounds refusing to sit with Farage’s extrmist, racist, anti homosexual and anti Jewish pan EU EFD Group and stood up to the outright lies of Malcolm Lord Pearson and failed Tory Christopher Gill and the rest of the baying mob in Farage’s claque.

There is absolutely no argument against the fact that Nikki Sinclaire has received more publicity, done more work, used more of her own money and received more publicity for the cause of Leave-The-EU whilst still fulfilling her role acting on behalf of her constituents than all of the remaining MEPs working in Farage’s Party put together.

There is every possibility that the media will take no action at this stage to expose the truth about Farage’s party in the foolish belief that his success in the EU elections, although irrelevant, will be damaging to Cameron’s Tories and will thus favour the media in a swing to the left and the iresponsible profligacy and economic illiteracy of the Labour Party – who after unlucky 13 years did so much damage to our country we are still showing little signs of recovery despite the feeble efforts of the Tories towards austerity.

UKIP’s achievements in the EU elections are likely to be good unless the facts about the party are more widely revealed as they act as a perfect dustbin for protest votes in an EU election though clearly the electorate have seen through them sufficiently to ensure they are never likely to have an MP elected in a General Election nor sufficient councillors to influence anything of consequence, with less than 140 elected in any level of council, however impotent it/they may be.

The media will eventually have the courage and integrity to thoroughly investigate the party and its extremist, anti homosexual, racist, anti Jewish associates in the Pan EU EFD Group which Farage founded and no prostitutes any kind of principle to running spurred on by personal gain.

The widely discussed claims of corruption, theft of public and members money, sheltering of paedophiles and gang rape by senior members of the party, bank accounts in The Caymans Isle of Man and various other tax shelters, cash transfers of money from party accounts, bullying, bribery and dishonesty, abuse of privilege, suborning of justice and Press Complaints Commission, rape/sexual abuse? at conference and lies to the media can not all be untrue and I incline to believe have greater veracity than many would wish to believe are widespread.

The UKIP Councillor for Henley on Thames in Oxfordshire has written an odd, homophobic letter to a local newspaper.

David Silvester, who resigned from the Conservative Party over David Cameron’s same-sex marriage policy, has said gay marriage is to blame for Britain’s recent spell of bad weather in a letter to The Henley Standard.

He wrote: “Since the passage of the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act, the nation has been beset by serious storms and floods.”

Ukip have reacted to the councillor’s comments by telling HuffPost: “If the media are expecting UKIP to either condemn or condone someone’s personal religious views they will get absolutely no response.”

Ominously discussing the flooding in his letter to the newspaper Mr Silvester ponders: “Is this just global warming or is there something more serious at work?”

Expanding on this rather doom-laden suggestion, he launches into an eyebrow-raising tirade, quoting The Bible, and explaining that acts like gay marriage are to blame for storms, disease, pestilence and war.

“The scriptures make it abundantly clear that a Christian nation that abandons its faith and acts contrary to the Gospel (and in naked breach of a coronation oath) will be beset by natural disasters.”

He does say he warned the Prime Minister about the gays and their apparent secret agenda to destroy humanity, adding: “I wrote to David Cameron in April 2012 to warn him that disasters would accompany the passage of his same sex marriage Bill.

“But he went ahead despite a 600,000-signature petition by concerned Christians and more than half of his own parliamentary party saying that he should not do so.

“Now, even as Cameron sheds crocodile tears on behalf of destitute flooded homeowners, playing at advocate against the very local councils he has made cash-strapped, it is his fault that large swathes of the nation have been afflicted by storms and floods.

“He has arrogantly acted against the Gospel that once made Britain ‘great’ and the lesson surely to be learned is that no man or men, however powerful, can mess with Almighty God with impunity and get away with it for everything a nation does is weighed on the scaled of divine approval or disapproval.”

Unfortunately for the councillor, more bad weather is predicted – so it seems gay marriage is going nowhere fast.

A Ukip spokeswoman told the Huffington Post UK that “freedom to individual thought and expression is a central tenet of any open minded and democratic country.

“It is quite evident that this is not the Party’s belief but the councillor’s own and he is more than entitled to express independent thought despite whether or not other people may deem it standard or correct.

“That is what makes the United Kingdom such a wonderful, proud, diverse and free country.”

But the Conservative District Councillor for Henley on Thames told HuffPost Mr Silvester’s comments highlighted how Ukip would take the UK back to the Stone Age if elected.

“Playing ‘spot the wrath’ with pages of the Henley Standard is absurd,” William Hall said.

“Many people around here appreciate a sound stance on cutting taxes and getting out of the EU but once you scratch the surface UKIP is a party that would take us back to the Stone Age.”

Extreme right-wing politician Gianluca Buonanno steered Italian politics right intoappalling racist buffoonery on Wednesday night. In a protest against supposedly generous benefits to immigrants, he produced a makeup kit in parliament and started to dab his face in order to make it darker.

“To get money, perhaps we all need to make ourselves darker,” he told the Chamber of Deputies.

Buonanno’s political party, Lega Nord or the Northern League, are notorious for xenophobic tirades, such as their attack on the country’s first black minister, Cecile Kyenge, for “favoring negritude.”

Marine Le Pen, leader of the French far-Right party, has said that Ukip has far more in common with the Front National than it would like to admit and that the two parties could join forces to bring down the EU’s “Berlin wall of Brussels”.

Speaking from her Paris headquarters, Miss Le Pen, whose party is expected to score well in forthcoming European elections, said Ukip is avoiding an alliance due to “electoral considerations”.

“They say they’re not in agreement with us. My foot,” she told the Telegraph. “OK, we don’t have the same economic policies [but] they share our point of view on the European Union and immigration: everyone must control his borders, European technocrats must disappear, the European Soviet Union must collapse, everyone must have their own currency, their economic policy and decide in their own home.”

“There are political considerations behind this,” she said. “Ukip currently presides its own group and will try to rebuild that group (after the EU elections in May).”

“If they don’t manage to create a group again, they will surely not find it a bad idea to join with us.”

Nigel Farage, the head of Ukip, ruled out joining forces, stating on Thursday: “We keep getting this every fortnight or so don’t we? Look, we’ve made it clear that we don’t intend to do a political deal at any point with French National Front.”

“I am sure that a new Eurosceptic group of parties comprising Marine Le Pen and Geert Wilders and others will happen, but Ukip will not be part of it,” he has said in the past

“As a strictly non-racist and libertarian party, Ukip will be ploughing our own furrow in Europe with parties with which we are happy to do business and make a stand against the EU’s political union.”

The FN is just one of several anti-immigration and anti-EU parties gaining ground in Europe, where many have lost faith in the ability of the European Union to help kick start their faltering economies, and Miss Le Pen pledged to do all in her power to facilitate the collapse of the EU.

“How to improve the European Union? By making it collapse. We brought the Berlin Wall down. I want to bring the Brussels wall down,” she said.

“I expect one thing only from the European system and that’s for it to explode.”

“We have to wait for everything to fall flat on its face, contribute to that if possible, to bring about the project of a Europe of free nations,” said Miss Le Pen, who is already a European MP.

“And that of course can only happen with the disappearance of a huge majority of current EU structures.”

Miss Le Pen has forged an alliance with Dutch anti-Islamic leader Geert Wilders aimed at creating a Eurosceptic block at the European Parliament after elections due in May.

This could also include Belgium’s Vlaams Belang, Italy’s Lega Nord and Austria’s Freedom Party.

“The role that we will have to play – us patriotic elected representatives at the European Parliament – will mainly be to block this federal European Union from making any new headway,” she said.

One poll conducted by research firm Ifop suggested the Front National could emerge as the leading party in France’s European elections with the backing of 24 per cent of voters.

In Italy, polls have also shown significant support for the Lega Nord, while Austria’s Freedom Party finished a strong third in September general elections, with 20.5 per cent of votes.

In a December interview, José Manuel Barroso, EU Commission President, admitted that the rise of populist and extremist parties was a major concern.

“I am vehemently calling on Europeans to step out of the comfort zone, to quit their silence, to not always let extremes make their move, to have – in France too – the courage to defend Europe,” he told AFP.

Germany’s new foreign minister launched an attack on Thursday on “brainless” Eurosceptics who pose a threat to the existence of the European Union.

Frank-Walter Steinmeier said: “We must not avoid confrontation with populists, nationalists, with these brainless people who call themselves Eurosceptics.”

UKIP for all its denials Is Racist to its core, as a title is apposite as there has been very little if any censure of overt racism and worse still clear and undeniable support of racism.

Some may feel the title would be more accurate as ‘UKIP is racist AT its core’ however that overlooks the huge number of racists amongst its members at all levels (disproportionate to the two main UK parties) particularly with its large influx of ex BNP members and close association with the EDL and EDP and the overt and unchallenged apparent racism of the likes of Gerard Batten, as is shown time after time by the behaviour of members at all levels.

UKIP constantly claims its reasons for membership of the EFD are to gain more money from the tax payers of the EU, and have more say in the EU Parliament – as a result of which they clearly aid the various extremists, racists, anti homosexual, Holocaust deniers, practicioners of violence and anti Jewish xenophobes of their Pan EU EFD Group.

UKIP is clearly and undeniably supporting and helping to fund racism, extremism, Holocaust denial, religious phobia and anti homosexuality with its associates in their EFD Group!!

Hi,I guess we can expect UKIP to peddle more platitudes about not being racist against all the evidence.

The British media are constantly identifying instances where members of every rank in the party manifest their fundamental racist beliefs – Strangely the media are desperately trying to protect UKIP, in spite of this, as UKIP are a very good foil for the Tories and with a largely left wing press we see them again and again like bull fighters using UKIP as a cloak which they wave in the face of the Tories to try to gain a reaction.

The media does succeed and therefore they keep ensuring UKIP’s survival by giving them publicity yet pulling their punches because the still need UKIP as a red rag to wave at Cameron to try to cause his back benches to break ranks, which they are doing as they squabble over EU membership when clearly the electorate want either a very different relationship and restoration of our sovereignty and our democracy and the return of control of our borders, businesses and laws.

Clearly we are happy to be bound by the standards of global organisations we have a democratic say in such as WHO, WTO, CODEX, UN Davos and many more – rules and agreements in international trade and standards which currently the EU stamps its impramature and imposes them on its vassal regions adding to the imposition by subsuming the sovereignty of the nation states in denial of meaningful democracy and excercising unwanted political controls.

The media by and large are happy to use UKIP for their own ends, be that the left wing use as rag to the bull at the Tories and amongst the right wing media it is used to try to sharpen up and modify the policies of Tory leadership.

Clearly the media seek not to destroy UKIP by publishing the facts o the truth or they would persist in exposing the corruption, bullying and unpleasant practices of UKIP’s centralised absolute control of the leadership, the huge amounts of missing money or at very least unaccounted but most damning of all is the clear and undeniable racism which is best exposed by showing the extremist, racist, anti homosexual anti Jewish associations UKIP has built up – particularly in Nigel Farage’s EFD Group wich he exploits to fund seemingly himself as there are no records of donation by Farage to UKIP as he trousers such monies as he can obtain, banking in at least 3 different countries and possibly more to obfuscate his income and wealth and minimise his taxation one would assume!

Farage is not alone in these banking ruses of course and I am sure they will be within the law though morally reprehensible – it is such facts exposed to the public at large that would seriously damage UKIP, but clearly that would not play to the tune the media wish to play in manipulating British politics and the EU agenda which so conveniently funds and supports them with tax payers’ money, as with extensive subsidised loans and and hospitality not to mention the funding of the BBC by direct and mandatory tax payments in the form of license.

Nigel Farage was last night at the centre of a new racism storm over shocking remarks made by UKIP officials about Nelson Mandela and the murdered black teenager Stephen Lawrence.

One mocked Mr Lawrence as ‘Saint Stephen’ and said his grieving mother was ‘boring us all to tears’.

Another, writing just days after Mandela’s death, said that some ‘base-born’ people were ‘intended by nature’ to be ‘slaves’.

Opponents said that the remarks – made on an internal party forum used by senior figures, including party leader Mr Farage – revealed the ‘true face’ of the party.

Some of the most shocking messages concerned Mr Lawrence, who was killed in a racist attack in South London in 1993.

Pamela Preedy, secretary of UKIP’s Redcar branch, wrote: ‘The image of Stephen Lawrence has been promoted to sainthood, with his own memorial site, constant invocation of his name in any discussion of racism; even to close down a discussion about immigration when the issue bore no relevance to his murder’.

Ms Preedy then accused David Cameron of ‘worshipping at the shrine of Saint Stephen’, complaining that ‘we are supposed to publicly mark the anniversaries of his death . . . Please give it a rest!’

Ms Preedy added in the message, left last year: ‘I’m sure his mother still grieves for him, but it’s time she did it privately without setting him up as some kind of media icon. She risks . . . boring us all to tears.’

Another contributor to the forum, Keith Woods, a UKIP council election candidate, commented as part of the same exchange: ‘As for St Stephen of Racism, I feel sorry for the parents of many white youths that have been murdered . . . no one seems to give a toss . . . your son gets murdered, you become an expert on race relations it seems . . . but only if you are a particular colour’.

The death of former South African President Nelson Mandela last month prompted some UKIP members to discuss whether it was ‘time for a reappraisal’ of the reviled apartheid system.

David William Griffiths, a member of UKIP’s West London branch, used the site to argue that some people were ‘intended by nature’ to be slaves and were ‘marked out for subjection’ from birth.

He went on to quote selectively from Hindu literature to argue that a ‘base-born man’ can ‘never conceal his real nature’.

He concluded with the offensive line: ‘That kingdom in which such b*******, sullying [the purity of] the castes, are born, perishes quickly together with its inhabitants.’

The word b******* has been removed from the quote, on the grounds that it was ‘offensive language’ which had been ‘auto-deleted’.

Other postings appear to confirm the claims of UKIP’s opponents that many of its activists back the policies of openly racist far-Right groups such as the British National Party (BNP) and the English Defence League (EDL).

One councillor, who uses the online name Icini123, boasted: ‘Some individuals who voted for BNP in desperation, because there was no other alternate where we didn’t stand, have come over to us now.’

Martin Caine, a UKIP committee member in Poole & Mid Dorset, wrote: ‘I actually agree with the EDL on what they protest about.’

And Alexander Monk, a UKIP member from Lowestoft, said: ‘What really grinds my gears about it is people are declaring the EDL as “extremist” which is tosh in my eyes.’

And in a message earlier this month, Brian Otridge, who is a campaign manager for UKIP’s North West Hampshire Branch, declared UKIP should be directly targeting BNP voters in the wake of their leader, Nick Griffin, being declared bankrupt.

Noting that the BNP received hundreds of thousands of votes in the 2010 General Election, Mr Otridge said: ‘We should be picking up 50-75 per cent of those now.’

Last night, veteran anti-apartheid campaigner Peter Hain said: ‘This is the true face of UKIP. Under their thin veil of respectability lurks rampant bigotry and prejudice, fed by disenchantment and feelings of social injustice.

‘None of these comments surprise me, because whenever I speak out about apartheid I am bombarded with bigoted and quasi-racist tweets from UKIP supporters.’

Last month this newspaper revealed that Victoria Ayling, an ally of Mr Farage, had been captured on video saying of immigrants: ‘I just want to send the lot back.’

Mr Farage vowed yesterday to start a new targeted campaign for the 2015 General Election to ‘pick off’ vulnerable seats, including several held by Labour.

He declared: ‘This party feels itself to be a new force in British politics. The goal is to get enough representation in Westminster to make the difference.’

Last night, commenting on the forum posts, a UKIP spokesman said: ‘UKIP does not endorse any of the comments made on this forum which go against the party’s principles and core values.

‘However, the party does not police open discussions. Where elected representatives or party figures make comments bringing the party into disrepute, we act accordingly.’

I have amended the ‘Long Title’ for further clarity, as follows:

‘UKIP for all its denials Is Racist to its core, as a title is apposite as there has been very little if any censure of overt racism and worse still clear and undeniable support of racism.

UKIP is clearly and undeniably supporting and helping to fund racism, extremism, Holocaust denial, religious phobia and anti homosexuality with its associates in their EFD Group!!’

I trust this, together with the extensive list of examples backing my statement via links and quotes will help to clarify why UKIP is undeniably a racist organisation that has prostituted its principles for perceived gain and the enrichment of the few in their leadership clique.

A brief perusal will show just how little is donated by those enriched by the party to anything much beyond their own efforts to seek re-election and further enrichment on the gravy train – The public must by now be all too aware of the fact that some amongst them, maybe all, also have overseas bank accounts to reduce their liability to British tax.

Do be minded, when considering their apparent donations, that not one of the MEPs would seem to have donated anywhere near the amount they can expect in EU pensions, little wonder they are all too willing to fund parts of their own re-election campaigns and the likes of Mike Nattrass and Godfrey Bloom manifest as being angered by their having been dropped as MEP candidates, though there is every possibility Godfrey Bloom will be reinstated at the last minute!

Blooms position as a chum of Nigel Farage’s currently having a ‘lover’s tiff’ was always on corrupt grounds having not been selected by the members in the first place and having been ‘placed’ by Farage as he ousted Dr. Richard North, seemingly as Richard North brought gravitas and competence, vision and structure to UKIP which Farage found at very least ‘challenging’ and seemingly removed him as a threat to his position leading UKIP long before his titular leadership.

Despite all this I find it likely UKIP will be largely aided by the media who, being by and large left wing and hugely bribed with tax payers money (either via lobbyists, of whom there are approx.. 10,000 in Brusells alone, or by subsidised loans and expenses from the EU or in terms of placement (or hope of) of obscene amounts of advertising by Labour should we be unfortunate enough to see them have a further period in which to destroy Britain as they clearly did in their previous unlucky 13 year term of economic illiteracy and obscene profligacy), are likely to provide a high level of support to UKIP to act as a weapon against the Tory party.

UKIP are likely to do well acting as the dustbin into which protest votes are cast, as the public are well aware that Britain has virtually no say or control over our own country and its laws via membership of the utterly corrupt and undemocratic EU. However there is little chance of UKIP improving on its catastrophic failures in all previous UK elections in 2015 and beyond as they are bereft of gravitas, strategy, tactics or professionalism with the shoddiest of structures and incompetent leadership.

It seems likely that UKIP will make the occasional showing in by elections where second i9s much proclaimed by them relative to Westminster and even EU Regional Governance scams like the various regional assemblies. As for Local Government they have by and large proved catastrophic and with less than 140 Councillors across the country after 21 years they can only be described as an also ran irelevance and are, under their present leadership likely to continue thus – especially in view of their undeniable racism, bullying and unprofessionalism.

After 21 years it is astonishing to realise the party is still in real terms a one man band rigidly, but incompetently, controlled from the center and without even an exit and survival strategy relative to the EU – That their one man is a competent ya-boo orator ever willing to make sound bites insulting people from the floor of the EU’s stage is really all that UKIP has to offer. There is always someone who is willing to praise such behaviour and claim it to be sagacity but be it Rory Bremner or Dave Allen before him able to play to an audience Farage’s antics are by and large seen as the comedy turn in the EU and make not a moment of difference.

Name a single solitary actual achievement in terms of leading Britain out of the EU that can be claimed by UKIP and of the 60,000,000+ in Britain I doubt if more than 500,000 (if that) have ever seen his EU Parliament performances, the same people will include those who have seen him elsewhere and his performances on his pet programme Question Time are as often damaging as they may be claimed helpful.

Annabelle Fuller’s PCC Complaint Fails…..

Complaint:

Annabelle Fuller complained to the Press Complaints Commission with the authorisation of Alexandra Phillips. The complainant was concerned that the newspaper had wrongly linked Ms Phillips with allegations of racism and had relied on information obtained from Facebook that was the subject of a police investigation. The complainant alleged a breach of Clause 3 (Privacy) and Clause 10 (Clandestine devices and subterfuge) of the Editors’ Code of Practice.

Resolution:

The newspaper did not accept that the Code had been breached….

Oh dear! It seems that hardly a week goes by without another UKIPPER landing up in the tabloids for a racist or homophobic outburst. Annabelle Fuller’s attempt to clear Alexandra Phillips’ name seems not to have worked out so well.

Some of you may well remember the blatant lies of the foul mouthed Annabelle Fuller when she published the UKIP confidential training tape regarding John West, or the lies she had published in the Daily Mail and The Indipendent some years ago during UKIP’s Bournmouth Farage Feste.

You may even remember the lies when she tried to defame a Tory MP when she was caught having stolen his mobile phone, House of Commons pass and correspondence and legged it from his flat in the early hours after an all day drinking session in a nearby pub!

There will be others who will remember the desperate pack of lies to the PCC when Daniel Foggo reported the facts regarding Roger Knapman having used cheap Polish labour undercutting qualified British workmen, to renovate his house. At the time you will remember the Knapman family were running a people trafficking organisation recruiting cheap labour in Poland and bringing them to Britain to work on contract for themselves and clients! Not only were the claims made by Mark Croucher a pack of lies but Knapman’s position as leader of UKIP was particularly hypocritical and dishonest!

I mention these issues merely to show just how willing UKIP leadership clique are to lie, bully, cheat and defame to hang onto their positions on the gravy train and self enrichment, regardless of the damage they do to the credibility of the British EUroSceptic movement.

Just consider how UKIP would behave if they were ever to gain any authority of consequence in British domestic politics, bad enough that they pretend to the status of representing Britain in the EU parliament alongside their fellow travellers racists, extremists, anti homosexuals, anti Jewish and advocates and practicioners of violence in the EFD Group which Nigel Farage founded!
