The European parliament has recovered more than £200,000 from Ukip MEPs accused of misusing public funds through payments to party workers. But with three weeks to go until European elections, time is running out to recoup money from others alleged to have broken EU rules.
The parliament has suspended the pay of two staff attached to Ukip’s former leader Paul Nuttall and his fellow North West England MEP Louise Bours, the Guardian has learned. Neither MEP is standing for re-election on 23 May, which could make it harder for officials to recover money.
Since the Guardian revealed the parliament’s investigation into Ukip misspending in 2017, £202,667 has been recovered from two current MEPs and one former one.
Nigel Farage was docked half his MEP’s salary for 10 months in 2018, and he is judged to have repaid a £39,653 debt to the EU. European parliament financial controllers said Farage broke the rules by paying a Ukip party worker with EU funds meant to pay for staffing of his MEP office. Farage, who left Ukip in December and now leads the Brexit party, has always denied the charge.
Raymond Finch was docked £61,650 of his MEP’s salary over the employment of two assistants, including Farage’s estranged wife, Kirsten.
Roger Helmer, who stood down as an MEP in 2017 when allegations against him emerged, lost £101,364 of a transition allowance for former MEPs.
While Nuttall and Bours could lose their transitional allowances, it is not clear whether this would be enough to cover the alleged losses from the EU budget.
Elected in 2014, Bours would be entitled to a €40,949 (£35,025) after-tax transition payment, while Nuttall’s stint as an MEP since 2009 could entitle him to €68,428. The payments are based on the length of time served as an MEP, but are not meant to be claimed by ex-politicians with another job or pension.
Earlier calculations put repayment demands on then Ukip MEPs at around £500,000, but cases against two were later closed without any action.
All MEPs have strenuously rejected claims that the rules were broken. Their bloc in the European parliament, the Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy, has previously described the investigation as “a vindicative campaign” against Eurosceptic MEPs.
Responding to the latest findings, an EFDD spokesman said the parliament had behaved “disgracefully” towards the former employees of Bours and Nuttall. “Both of them have been doing the jobs they have been contracted to do and one of the guys lost his house,” the spokesman said.

you may remenber the untrustworthy scoundrel Paul Nuttall who Nigel Farage put in place as leader of Ukip, presumably to destroy it. It was clear that Paul Nuttall was a dishonest and corrupt little oike from many years ago – he was proven to have told so many lies that you will note some wag displayed him as having been in The Bayeux Tapestry, he had dishonestly claimed he was a Professor, had been a professional footballer, was at the Hillsboro tragedy, had been with close friend who had died, had a PHd, Had been to Universities he hadn’t was a lecturer at University, lived in constituencied which he didn’t, lived in an apartment he found in an estate agents window etc. etc. etc.
Finally after this blog had exposed him and he became exposed by the media and the butt of jokes around the internet and had led Ukip to total catastrohpy in an election he was forced to resign as leader – he lacked the integrity even to resign his seat as he no doubt enjoyed the level of income he could never expect to actually earn in the real world.
Still he and his cronies befoul the British body politic!
Paul Nuttall is no longer UKIP leader but is still an MEP on £80k per year. His voting record though since the Brexit vote is the 4th worst in the EU (42%). He wasn’t in Brussels on Monday but was there (until 2pm) Tuesday where he told me “I won Brexit…I’m worth every penny.”
Fellow #NorthWest#MEP#Louise_Bours hasn’t spoken in @Europarl_EN since Feb 2016! Minimal activity as an elected rep, yet she employs FIVE full time members of staff. What are these people doing on her behalf, apart from keeping their seats warm?
Whether she fails to attend because the odious liar #Paul_Nuttall effectively gave her the #MEP job or out of embarrassment at her association with the creepy little con man is hard to tell.

Former Ukip leader Paul Nuttall will not face charges over claims he used an empty house as his official address on a by-election form.
Labour accused Mr Nuttall of pretending to live in the Potteries before last February’s by-election in Stoke-on-Trent Central, after he gave his address as a property in the Penkhull area of the city.
Staffordshire Police said in a statement: ”We have conducted a thorough and extensive investigation into allegations that false information had been supplied on the nomination form of Paul Nuttall.
Former Ukip leader Paul Nuttall will not face charges over claims he used an empty house as his official address on a by-election form.
“After full consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service a decision has been made that there is insufficient evidence that criminal offences had been committed.
“We take any allegations of electoral fraud very seriously and will continue to work closely with the Electoral Commission, and local authorities, to ensure we play our part to protect the integrity of the electoral process in Staffordshire.”
Although Parliamentary candidates are not required to be resident in the constituency where they are standing, it is an offence under the Representation of the People Act to knowingly provide false information on a nomination paper.
One has to wonder who are the more corrupt the politicians the police or the CPS!
Many months ago, contemporary with Paul Nuttall’s criminal behaviour when he fraudulently claimed he lived in a flat in his chosen constituency, we published all the compelling evidence that he had lied & committed a crime under the British Electoral Law, including providing photographic evidence.
Now, minded that I live many miles away and was able to provide proof of the crime, the police & CPS claim they could not find sufficient evidence – are they really that incompetent or are they corrupt? I leave it to you to decide if this is outright corruption or a simple case of utter indollence or even a case of one law for the public & another for corrpt politicians!
You might also care to note that with no valid evidence, merely the lies of John Ison, who was colluding with Nigel Farage, the police spent over £1,500,000 trying to ‘fit up’ Nikki Sinclaire on a trumped up claim she had claimed for flights when she had taken the more costly option of driving to the tune of £3,000 claimed being an overspend of just a few £100!
They were able to fabricate enough evidence to drag the case on for 5 days in Court despite the fact that they colluded with John Ison in the criminal obtaining of some of the false evidence, a fact they were well aware of and which the Judge cautioned the witness for his criminality!
Nikki Sinclaire was eventually totally exhonerated of any crime yet to date John Ison has not been prosecuted for his undeniable and proven perjury nor the other crimes surrounding his offences, nor has Farage been prosecuted for his clear corruption & collusion with John Ison and as yet not a single one of thye corrupt police or any member of the CPS been prosecuted for their criminal actions!
There is no doubt of Paul Nuttall’s criminality nor of his fraudulent efforts to deceive the electorate with the CV he provided claiming he obtained a PhD at Hope University which was a lie. He also claimed that he playyed Football for Tranmere Rovers team which he did not – another lie. Paul Nuttall also claimed to have been at Hillsborough on that fatefull day when so many were killed & he claimed he lost close friend(s?) nearby – this also was a lie.
However it comes as no surprise that Gerard Batten also lied regarding Paul Nuttall in an effort to pretend Nuttall is not a liar.

You may be aware that The Liverpool Echo’s Court reporter Linda Roughly was blamed for the error on Paul Nuttall’s website – a claim that does not exhonourate Paul Nuttall in any way as he was responsible for anything on the site which, unlike Wikipedia, is password protected & pray who would invent the detail regarding Hope College?
I also find it utterly implausible that Linda Roughly would do anything without checking as Court reporting is a skill founded on absolute and reliable accuracy and checking every fact. Interesting to note that Linda Roughly has been a Court reporter for the Echo for many years even possibly dating back to Hillsborough here is a report of hers from 14-Feb-1992:

UKIP’s Paul Nuttall has stood down as leader of the party after it failed to win any seats in the general election.
He has resigned with immediate effect and it was announced former party chairman Steve Crowther would lead UKIP on an interim basis.
Mr Nuttall took 3,308 votes in Boston and Skegness – more than 10,000 fewer votes than the party’s result in 2015.
He said it was clear “UKIP requires a new focus and new ideas” but was confident it had a “great future”.
Since resigning as leader he has deleted his Twitter and Facebook accounts.
Mr Nuttall said the party was more relevant than ever and would continue to be “the guard dogs of Brexit”.
“The prime minister, and I suspect it will be a Tory, must know that if they begin to backtrack or barter things away then they must know they will be punished at the ballot box and that will only happen if UKIP is electorally viable and strong.
“We are in effect the country’s insurance policy on Brexit,” he said.
UKIP saw its popularity collapse in the election after securing only 593,852 votes – down from 3,881,099 in 2015.
Mr Nuttall said after the election of a new leader, the party needed to relaunch and rebrand itself and required a new focus, new ideas and a renewed energy.
“I say to members: keep the faith, politics will come back onto our turf and we have to be organised and ready to take full advantage when it does,” he said.
“To the voters I say: UKIP is still here and UKIP is not going away.”The party announced Mr Crowther had “overwhelmingly” been chosen by the national executive committee (NEC). He resigned as UKIP chairman in July 2016 but stood as a candidate in North Devon in the election.
UKIP chairman Paul Oakden said: “Conversations have taken place within the NEC to establish who is best placed to offer that stability in the very short term”.
He added: “Steve has a solid relationship with the NEC, both former leaders and our biggest donors. He has seen this situation before and will know how best to navigate through these tumultuous weeks. Knowing that Steve came top in the last NEC elections by a clear margin, also gives us confidence that he has the support of our membership.”
Job swap
Mr Nuttall took over from Nigel Farage as leader of UKIP last November.
Asked about a future role for Mr Farage in the party, Mr Nuttall said: “If Nigel Farage wants to come back, I would be more than happy to do a job swap.
“I’ll take his slot on LBC (radio station) and he can come back as leader of UKIP.”
Mr Nuttall, a former history lecturer, joined UKIP in 2004 after running for the Conservatives in a council election in Bootle two years earlier.
He became an MEP for North West England in 2009 and served as UKIP deputy leader from 2010 until September last year.
After Mr Farage resigned as UKIP leader following the Brexit referendum in July, Mr Nuttall ruled himself out of taking over.
But when Diane James quit after just 18 days in the job, he put himself forward and was elected with 62% of the vote
Mr Nuttall’s resignation came shortly before UKIP’s general secretary, Jonathan Arnott, also announced he would be resigning.
‘Wake-up call’
In a departing statement, he said the party had “lost its way in recent times” and he “profoundly disagreed” with UKIP’s election campaign.
He attacked the party’s “clumsy, blundering approach” to tackling female genital mutilation and its “hardline anti-Islam messages”.
“The people pushing such an agenda need to reflect on the party’s future. They need to stop making it difficult – impossible, even – for many people to vote UKIP,” he said.
“This election result is the last wake-up call that they will ever get.”
Mr Oakden paid tribute to Mr Nuttall’s leadership over “difficult months” for the party.
He said: “I want to offer my heartfelt thanks to Paul Nuttall for having had the courage and strength of will to forge on.
“Paul is a good, decent and humble man and I’ve no doubt that he will be remembered as the person who kept UKIP alive when everything seemed determined to bring it to an end.”

The Ukip leader, Paul Nuttall, has said it might be necessary to introduce internment without trial for terrorism suspects, adding that he would prioritise people’s lives over “the human rights of any jihadi”.
Speaking in the wake of Ukip’s move following the Manchester attack to focus its election approach more closely on Islamist terrorism, Nuttall denied that his party was becoming “extreme” over the issue.
But pressed by Andrew Neil as part of BBC1’s series of interviews with party leaders, Nuttall declined to condemn Gerard Batten, Ukip’s Brexit spokesman, for calling Islam a “death cult”, saying only that he had “got his terminology wrong”.
Nuttall insisted that Ukip was leading the way over policies such as a ban on Muslim women wearing a burqa in public and increased penalties for sexual offences against a person of a different religion.
“A lot of people within the Westminster bubble are very uncomfortable about it, but you know, we’re saying things that people are thinking, and what we’ve got to do is we’ve got to get to grips with this Islamist cancer within our midst,” Nuttall said.
“It needs to be cut out because I worry if it isn’t, then what happened the other night in Manchester may well become commonplace.”
Asked about the possible use of internment for people flagged as being under suspicion of terrorism, Nuttall said this might be necessary in the future.
“Well, when you read this morning there’s a suspected 23,000 jihadis living amongst us, obviously MI5 are stretched to capacity at this present moment in time,” he said.
“I think we’ve got to look at ways of ensuring that our people are safe, whether that is a return to control orders, whether that is tagging these people, who knows, in the future maybe a return to internment.”
Asked whether this might prove a recruiting tool for extremists, Nuttall said: “I wouldn’t take anything off the table in the future because … unless we get a grip on this what happened in Manchester the other night, which is part of my constituency [an MEP], could become commonplace. And that’s the last thing we want to see.”
“I would put the lives of British families over the human rights of any jihadi any day,” he said.
Nuttall also repeated that while support for the death penalty was not Ukip policy, he would be potentially willing to “pull the lever” and personally execute people convicted of child murders.
Asked whether his views as a whole indicated he was “becoming pretty extreme” in an attempt to boost Ukip’s flagging poll numbers, Nuttall rejected this.
He said: “The fact is we’re the only ones who are coming up with an agenda to try and improve integration in this country.”
Neil asked the Ukip leader about comments from Batten, one of the party’s MEPs, who used his personal blog to call Islam “a death cult”.
Nuttall said Batten was not speaking for the party but, asked for his views, declined to condemn him or threaten any disciplinary action. “I think he’s got his terminology wrong,” Nuttall said.
With Ukip polling at little more than 5%, as against nearly 13% in the 2015 election, Nuttall insisted his party would remain relevant.
“Well, look, sometimes in politics the tide comes in, the tide goes out,” he said. “And this is very opportune for Theresa May at the moment because she’s able to talk the talk and sound tough on the issue of Brexit because she hasn’t gone into those negotiations.
“It will get difficult for her once the negotiations start and that’s why it’s so important that Ukip remains on the pitch. And if she does backslide I’ll make a prediction: Ukip by the end of 2018 could be bigger than it ever has been before.”

sorry but this article is virtually irrelevant as one can not claim Uki9p’s manifesto launch is of any significance whatsoever – it is the launch of a fundamentally defuncy group with past hopes of future glory!
They couldn’t even get what achievements they might have had right, in that they poached 3 MPs from the Tories and lost the seats of all 3, though to be fair the one Tory MP who maintained his Tory seat under a Ukip banner by never clearly proclaiming Ukip views merely Tory views with a BreXit emphasis. Even he has quit Ukip.
When they have managed to get Councillors elected they have subsequently lost all of them.
As for the rabble that pass themselves off as Ukip MEPs a good proportion have befouled their office such that even Ukip won’t talk to them and almost 1/2 of their MEPs have quit, usually in acrimony after prolonged internal squabbling.
It is hard to single out an achievement by Ukip in its 24 years of posturing – it was even such a disaster on the issue of BreXit that it did almost all it could to prevent the Petition which gave rise to the Tory promise of a Referendum and the Party was utterly rejected as too toxic to be allowed to participate in the official pro BreXit campaign.
Ukip in a funny way are very like the EU itself – a hugely costly squabbling group of largely self appointed individuals of no particular merit seeking comfortable seats and cuedos on the Gravy Train to nowhere. Ukip, just like the EU has been much todo about nothing of consequence with far more discussion of its own rules and interests than consideration of the people it pretends to represent – ever willing to attack and abuse anyone who does not worship at their feet and applaud their evety flatulence.
Ukip after many years of following its self impressed demie god, with his quick quip and like the small boy in the classroom seeking attention by being rude to or about the teacher has shown just how debased the actual party is leaving it with no clear aim, no credible leadership, no structure, no consequential backer(s), no money and a raft of debts and clawback claims – Going Nowhere.
What hope had Ukip when even scrapinig the barrel the best they could come up with after all the fights and infighting, posturing and pontificating was the risible Paul Nuttall as a leader – a sad specimen who has destroyed his own credibility yet further at every outing, working on an absolutely no hope mission in the vain attempt to manage the demise of Ukip in a pretence of some sort of emulation of grown up dignity and failing even at that.
Read the Manifesto by all means but do appreciate it would have been of greater value had it not been on glossy paper and had it had a hole punched in it to hang it on a nail in the outhouse!

We Went To The UKIP Manifesto Launch And All We Got Was This Lousy Headache
The Debrief: UKIP unveiled their manifesto for the 2017 election and there was quite a lot of shouting in the process
If you want to hang out with loads of middle-aged white guys in suits, might I recommend any press event for UKIP? Say, a manifesto launch? Interesting fact: manifesto literally translates as ‘festival of man’ Don’t look it up. It’s definitely, definitely true. Definitely.
Between UKIP politicians and members of the press, there’s all the off-the-peg suits you could ever wish for (black, grey and navy colourways only) and hair that looks like it’s been created in greyscale. For all accusations of racism, UKIP brought up the diversity quotient significantly. If UKIP is a white manifesto, then the media is actually worse.
You probably want to know what the policies are. There’s a proposed increase in police and troops, an extra £11billion for the NHS, cutting foreign aid, things that will broadly appeal to some people who sit outside the normal UKIP bandwidth.
Finding extreme lunacy in a UKIP manifesto isn’t so much shooting fish in a barrel as dynamiting them, so a few words on these policies. For example: The UK’s climate change targets have ‘no basis in science’ so will be scrapped. EU flags would be banned. Burqas would also be done away with because of apparent concerns that women who wear them don’t get enough vitamin D. (A Times journalist pointed out that the manifesto also carries a photograph of a beekeeper in full uniform. I am concerned about his vitamin D intake. Ban The Beekeeper.) Trade practices are proudly proclaimed as efficient and ‘even Bono has admitted it.’ In short, parts of it read like they were written by Jim Davidson. Perhaps they were.
At the launch this morning, UKIP leader Paul Nuttall called for ‘radical ideas and a ‘muscular’ approach to integration. Standing in front of journalists and supporters in Westminster, he blasted the ‘Westminster chatterati’, gave Theresa May a severe slagging off, and said that not enough had been done to counter radical Islam. The new touchy-feely UKIP approach was going to make foreigners more like British people. The flaw seems to be that it also appears to include if you were born in Britain but happened to be born into the wrong religion (Muslim). If anyone knows what British people do or think or feel can you please tell me, because I keep asking people and they keep giving me wildly different answers, almost as if there’s no one idea of Britishness? Confusing!
After Nuttall and deputy chair Suzanne Evans had finished speaking there were questions from media, which were met with quite a lot of outraged yelling from UKIP supporters. ‘Don’t answer, Paul!’ was a common cry, which reminded me of Wimbledon in the late 90s when the audience would shout the grandmotherly phrase: ‘Come on, Tim!’ when Henman was flagging.
Just like when a party host insists on doing full hospital-style lighting to kill off any hint of a good vibe at a get-together, UKIPers were also keen to make sure everyone knew we were all supposed to be scrunched with anxiety by yelling ‘pathetic’ and ‘get back in your hole’ and ‘ask us a sensible question’ at pretty much every question. It’s almost enough to make you feel sorry for UKIP’s events team.
And just in case the bad temper hadn’t really hit home, we also got to watch an almighty row between Channel 4 News and two UKIP members who were saying they wanted to have a ‘positive debate’ and were sick of being ‘shouted down’. I mean, they were themselves slightly shouting at Channel 4 News but perhaps it was a piece of performance art and deliberately ironic.
Outside of the scrum, one policy, in particular, captured our attention – that check-ups will be carried out on young girls to make sure they haven’t been subjected to FGM. When this was first announced a few months ago, it provoked a strong reaction from FGM campaigners who said that this would prove more upsetting for girls and that it was grossly invasive.
‘Let it continue then, let it continue then. Is that what you’re saying?’ Gerard Batten, UKIP spokesperson says. ‘If people are taking people off to certain places, like the Indian Subcontinent or Africa where we know this kind of thing goes on, then it’s reasonable to check.’
Peter Harris, standing as an MP for from Dagenham and Rainham added that he was very concerned about the reports that 95 girls in Barking and Dagenham had been cut in one year.
‘The authorities do not take this crime – and it is a crime – seriously and something needs to be done. There was not one single successful prosecution last year, which is repulsive,’ he says. ‘If this prevents one girl from having this heinous surgery done… The simple answer is if we don’t do something, things will stay the same. What [our policy] has done is put this on the agenda, and hopefully, the other parties will actually start to talk about this and come to a sensible policy.’
Is the UKIP policy not a sensible policy? ‘I didn’t say that. I think it is a sensible policy and it will drive this procedure out of this society. Other countries in Europe are far more successful at dealing with this.’
This sums up UKIP quite perfectly. The party represents many people’s deepest concerns – that their children will be hurt, that they will be forced to change their way of life, they’re going to be accused of being racist when they don’t think they’ve done anything wrong.
The UKIP manifesto and its white-guy launch may have been a hotbed of insanity, but when the media holding it to account for being racist and sexist is predominantly white and male, it makes it much harder to counter some of the madder ideas. Integration is vital, it just isn’t what UKIP thinks it is.
This article was amended on 26.05.17 after it mistakenly suggested that UKIP’s manifesto stipulated that ‘teachers would be discouraged from giving out yellow stars to pupils’. This is not a UKIP policy.

UKIP chaos: MEPs and activists shout down journalists during calamitous manifesto launch
LONDON — The UK Independence Party’s manifesto launch descended into chaos today when party MEPs and activists shouted down journalists for asking leader Paul Nuttall whether he was exploiting the Manchester attack.
UKIP MEP Earl Dartmouth yelled “what a stupid question” and “don’t you understand English?” at BBC Political Editor Laura Kuenssberg while one activist told her to “go back down your hole” in a heated question and answer session.
Emotions were running high in Westminster on Thursday morning where UKIP leader Nuttall and his deputy Suzanne Evans launched the party’s general election manifesto.
Nuttall and Evans announced a series of radical policies to combat Islamic extremism, including banning the burqa and Niqab in public, reinstating police stop and search powers and only accepting migrants who share “British values”.
The press conference quickly became heated when broadcast journalists Kuenssberg and Channel 4’s Michael Crick asked Nuttall whether he was exploiting the Manchester attack by holding a manifesto launch on Thursday morning.
“Ask a sensible question!” an activist shouted at Crick, while Kuenssberg was met with a chorus of furious remarks from a number of UKIP activists and elected representatives.

Some UKIP figures including Nuttall and former political reporter turned UKIP MEP Patrick O’Flynn urged party members to stop heckling journalists, but to little effect. A question from the Guardian newspaper was met with “oh for fuck’s sake” by UKIP Brexit spokesman Gerard Batten.
The UKIP manifesto includes policies like reversing cuts to police, the army and border control; bringing net migration down to zero; abolishing the House of Lords; protecting the triple lock and winter fuel allowance, and holding Theresa May’s government to account of delivering a complete divorce from the European Union.
Evans said May’s decision to cut the number of police officers while she was Home Secretary meant she “must bear some responsibility” for the Manchester attack. She quickly rowed back on this, saying only the terrorists are to blame.
“I didn’t say she must bear some responsibility,” the UKIP deputy chairman said.
UKIP is without any MPS and a Business Insider/GfK opinion poll published last week put the party on 5% — a 7% drop since the last time GfK asked Brits who they intend to vote for in the next general election.

I didn’t notice Paul Nuttall’s claim that he had mastered walking on the spot when he was teaching Michael Jackson how to ‘Moon Walk’ during the time he took off from studying for his Doctorate (everyone else ‘reads’ for the qualification of Professor!), presumably that was before he was a professional footballer for Tranmere Rovers but after he had managed the crowd control of Hillsboro – or was this just another claim that when he was shown to have lied about it he blamed it on a junior employee, after it being on his web site for many years!
Then it was on to Stoke where he hadn’t a clue where he lived and slept at night, claiming to have a house in the constituency (that seemingly he had seen in an Estate Agent’s window) – but that Michael Crick viewed and filmed as empty and to let!
Then on to the present constituency he has been parachuted into as a carpet bagger, at the last minute, where it became abundantly clear in a TV interview he didn’t seem to know any of the main land marks in the constituency, couldn’t name them and didn’t even know they were in the constituency.
This fooish little chap made a fool of himself on his web site, showed he was a fool in Stoke and is proving to be a fool in this election too – not content with that he has led people to believe he is also a liar and a cheat.
Oh so very Ukip!
Having become a laughing stock in the Stoke by-election, the most winnable seat for Ukip in Britain as a result of the hard work Nikki Sinclaire put in promoting a pro BreXit vote in the Referendum she was directly responsible for instigating with the petition she organised after she left Ukip. The petition Nigel Farage’s Ukip party tried to sabotage to avoid the Referendum it gave rise to and the probability Ukip would be out of a job once the electorate knew the truth and voted for BreXit.
Well that was one thing Nigel Farage got right, before he jumped ship to avoid humiliation in domestic politics yet again.
It is noteworthy that despite Nigel Farage’s £800 a session job waffling for LBC, his highly paid job for Fox News in America, regular income from Russia via his work for RT, his free house in Chelsea, his young French ‘house Mate’, his funding by Arron Banks sourced from seemingly dubious sources and the near £1/4M he accrues as an MEP and he’s still leading Ukip in the EU. Plus of course the additional income and further monies he controls as leader of an EU Group and of course money he trousers, which runs to 10s of £1,000s, in Court cases related to his job!
Nigel Farage has left the party; that served him so well over 20 years, in a total mess; leaderless and with no structure, he never managed to create a viable structure and we all know why
he really was terrified of anyone of competence being in a position to challenge him and his control of the purse strings. Just look at the long list of MEPs elected under the Ukip banner that have quit the party due to fraud, corruption or having clashed with Nigel Farage and then add the many competent individuals who quit because Farage feared their competence see CLICK HERE.
Nigel Farage sowed the seeds of Ukip’s failure by his utter lack of leadership skills, but he did teach this clown who has replaced him one thing: Never accept responsibility for anything that goes wrong and surround yourself with nobodies you can blame!

UKIP leader Paul Nuttall might struggle to convince voters he can not only “talk the talk” but “walk the walk” – after starring in a hilarious party political broadcast that appears to show him walking on the spot.

Once Nuttall’s “walk of shame” is over he places his hands on top of a wall and stares out across the sea as a voiceover says: “Who’s looking after you, and who really does put our country first?”
A cutaway then appears to show the shambolic Ukipper in London as he says: “We want to cut immigration, we want a more secure Britain, we want to prioritise the NHS over foreign aid, we want to protect British culture, and we want a modern and fair democracy.”
It is not clear where Nuttall took his seafront stroll but he is running to be an MP in the coastal town of Boston and Skegness in the General Election on June 8.
Twitter user Ross Fairbairn wrote: “Is it me or is Paul Nuttall just walking on the spot in the UKIP party political broadcast? Hahaha.”

yet again Ukip makes the perfect error – it would be hard to find a more stupid and badly led organisation – little wonder their support, after their crass failures in the BreXit Campaign, they compound their problems by encouraging their racist lunatic fringe, mostly due to the utter incompetence of their leadership over the years! Ukip has been accused of “grubbing around in the gutter” for votes after the party selected a parliamentary candidate who has described Islam as evil.
Anne Marie Waters, an activist from the anti-Islam Pegida movement, has also praised the far-right leaders Marine Le Pen and Geert Wilders.
It follows Ukip’s decision to campaign on banning the full-face veil and sharia courts. The move by Ukip’s leader, Paul Nuttall, to focus his party on an “integration agenda” – which also calls for mandatory medical checks on schoolgirls at risk of female genital mutilation – has prompted some disquiet among senior figures.
The decision was also condemned by the leaders of the Liberal Democrats and Greens, who said Waters’ selection showed Ukip was embracing hard-right politics in an attempt to gather votes in the wake of the EU referendum.
Waters, who will stand in Lewisham East in south London, takes a robust attitude towards not just radical Islamism, but the religion as a whole, which she described in a tweet last year as “evil”.
She was deputy leader of the UK arm of Pegida, the German-formed far-right and anti-Islam group partly set up by Stephen Lennon, who, under the name Tommy Robinson, founded the English Defence League street organisation.
“Whether it is politically correct or not to say it, people are concerned about Muslim immigration,” she says. “They are concerned because Islamic culture does not fit with ours, and it is our culture that is being sacrificed. They are concerned that their children are at risk of rape and sexual abuse.”
Waters regularly tweets similar views, and has written articles for the hard-right website Breitbart praising Wilders and linking Muslim immigration to rapes and sexual assaults.
A Ukip spokesman said: “Anne Marie Waters has been selected as a candidate for Lewisham East, where she will work hard to promote the party and gender equality.”
However, a party source said Waters’ candidacy still had to be approved by the national executive committee, which would meet on Friday.
Tim Farron, the Lib Dem leader, said: “Once again the mask is slipping from Ukip and revealing the nasty, grubby, true face of the party. This is why they are constantly rejected by voters, because what they stand for is genuinely un-British.
“This party seems desperate to grub around in the gutter for every single vote, and shame on them for it.”
Caroline Lucas, co-leader of the Green party, said after the Brexit vote Nuttall’s party was “desperately scrabbling around for relevance and seem to have settled upon attacks on Muslims and promoting fringe far-right politics as their new home.
“By selecting candidates from the extreme right, they expose themselves as the bigots they really are and utterly undermine any claim they have to stand up for ordinary people. Ukip are no patriots – they are reactionaries wrapped in the Union Jack.”
Waters is not alone within Ukip in expressing such views. After the Westminster terrorist attack last month, one of the party’s MEPs, Gerard Batten, who is Nuttall’s spokesman on Brexit, blamed the attack on Islam, which he called “Mohammedanism”.
Batten wrote: “It is a death cult, born and steeped in fourteen hundred years of violence and bloodshed, that propagates itself by intimidation, violence and conquest.”
At the same time, Victoria Ayling, who finished second for Ukip in last year’s Sleaford and North Hykeham byelection and is believed to be seeking selection for the Boston seat, retweeted a false claim that Muslims had been seen celebrating in Birmingham, Bradford, London and other cities after the attack. When challenged, she refused to disown the tweet.

fortunately Anthony Joshua and Klitchko conducted themselves with greater dignity with their audience of 90,000 than Ukip was able to do with 1% of the attendees!

Two women were caught on camera fighting at a UKIP rally after one allegedly accused a 62-year-old of being drunk.
Three people ended up on the floor with others crowded around trying to break up the mayhem in Hartlepool – just before a demo which was set to be attended by UKIP leader Paul Nuttall.
Paul Nuttall has now reportedly cancelled his speech in Hartlepool as a result of the fight.
BBC reporter Richard Moss tweeted a video of the fight, saying: “Just to add to the chaos as we wait for @paulnuttallukip a fight has broken out between two women in Hartlepool. Neither from UKIP .”
One woman is heard shrieking: “You’re not going to attack me,” before adding “there was no need for that, no need whatsoever.
“Look at what you’ve done. I’m 62 years old.”

Another shouts “why did you punch her” before the first woman yells: “I didn’t punch her. She’s accused me of being drunk and I’m not drunk. I’m 62 years old.”
She continues: “Look at the state of my legs. How dare you do that to me.”
Another woman says: “I live in Hartlepool and I have a right to say what I want to say.”
People can be seen trying to break up the fight, as one man is heard calling the police to alert them to the incident.
