Mrs Jones said she does not “feel welcome in the assembly group” and has not been “treated equally or as favourably” as Mr Bennett or Neil Hamilton, the first UKIP group leader.
She alleged a leadership election was called to get her out of the job, and questioned whether the way it was held adhered to the party’s constitution.

Mrs Jones told BBC Wales Mr Batten – who has been highly critical of Islam – was changing the party “to a more far-right position, which a lot of the long-standing members are finding quite unfavourable, including myself”.
“I never joined the party to be part of a far-right organisation – I joined the party because I wanted to come out of the European Union,” she said.
“Gerard Batten should listen to all sides and try to mediate and bring people together, as opposed to alienating them.
“He’s brought a lot of views into UKIP which people, the more moderate members, of the party have asked him to tone down.”
She alleged she had been subject of “misogyny”, claiming examples of a meeting where she was allegedly told to “shut up”, one where she had a pair of glasses thrown at her, and another where she was told to stop taking minutes.
Mrs Jones said: “I never liked the way that certain members in the assembly conducted themselves in their attitude towards female members.”
Media captionGareth Bennett said it would be easier for the UKIP group to operate without Caroline Jones
The MEP said: “I have brought the party back from financial meltdown, raised funds, raised membership numbers, and raised UKIP in the polls. Ms Jones has contributed nothing that I am aware of.”
He added: “Her statement is politically correct twaddle to disguise the fact that Mrs Jones is politically ineffective. I wish her well languishing in the outer realms of irrelevance.”
UKIP assembly group leader Gareth Bennett said he was “not totally surprised” by Mrs Jones’s exit and suggested people in the party who do not agree with its direction should “get off the train and then make it easier for the group to operate”.
He said UKIP was not moving to the far right but said not everyone in the party agreed with Mr Batten’s direction.
Mr Bennett denied the misogyny accusations – he confirmed that Caroline Jones had been told to “shut up” at a group meeting but said it was not related to her gender.
“There was poor behaviour from probably two or three people in that room at that meeting,” he said.
“I’m supremely confident that the group will eventually cohere.”

Neil Hamilton has called on Mrs Jones to resign her regional list seat and allow another UKIP member to become an AM, but she told BBC Radio Wales that she would not stand down.
Under the regional list system used to elect 20 of the 60 assembly members, voters choose a party rather than a specific candidate.
When a regional AM resigns, they are usually succeeded by the person who was next on the list for their party at the previous assembly election in that region.
I hear rumours from a usually well informed insider that Michelle Brown, currently Ukip AM for North Wales is likely to quit representing them shortly and represent her own views as an Independent.
Although Gareth Bennett is expected to run for leadership of the National Party at the next Ukip Leadership election, but he may find a snag in his plan as it is likely that the hapless Gerard Batten may well step down and not seek re-election after the crass ineptitude of his period standing in as leader nationally.
If Batten does cut and run it is expected he will back Mike Hookem for the leadership, well the field is staggeringly poor as anyone who has followed Ukip will appreciate – it is clear there is not a single individual with the relevant experience or visible qualities needed.
Regards,

Some Thoughts On UKip’s Inevitable Coup leave one to speculate whether Nigel Farage will prempt his overthrow by setting up a new party called ‘Grass Roots’ or similar funded and chaired by Aaron Banks – leaving UKip to go bankrupt under Nuttal, Hamilton, O’Flynn & Evans or return to his former life but with Aaron’s money & a substantial EU pension to featherbed his ineptitude, as proven by his last efforts in the city?
It was always going to happen. As UKIP leader Nigel Farage becomes increasingly irrelevant in the Brexit debate, his successor in waiting appears to be kicking at the stable door.
Deputy leader Paul Nuttall, who likes to portray himself as a working class Liverpudlian who has risen through the political ranks, appears to be about to make his move. A former staff member in the European Parliament, he is far better educated than Farage, has more real-life work experience, and enjoys great popularity amongst the UKIP rank and file.
Nuttall is reported to be backed by disgraced former Conservative MP Neil Hamilton. An amusing aspect of this somewhat Quioxtic tale is that it was Farage who appeared to fall over himself to bring Hamilton, and his flamboyant wife Christine into UKIP in the first place: Farage had possibly hoped that Hamilton would bring some money to the UKIP table.
Subsequently, the relationship between the two men has not been good. Farage is alleged to have used his influence to block Hamilton’s rise in the party, and has reportedly stated that Hamilton “may be too old to be a frontline politician.”
However, the most interesting facet of all is the fact that the news of Hamilton’s support for Nuttall’s post-Brexit leadership challenge has been leaked (not very delicately) by UKIP’s own press office. This suggests that the coming coup may enjoy deeper support than the Faragistas had expected. The UKIP press office has traditionally been Farage’s power base, and has been staffed according to his wishes, and generally by those with whom he enjoys close relationships.
As for the Brexit vote, at the time of writing it is impossible to say what will happen. But whatever, it would appear that Nigel Farage will exit stage left, and possibly return to the world of market trading from whence he came.
Neil Hamilton who was fired from the Tory party for accepting ‘cash for questions’ has now Embroiled Ukip In yet Another Expenses Scandal

Hi,
yet another of Nigel Farage’s personal proteges has it seems spectacularly damaged Ukip and as so often happens with his cult they are ex Tory, be that as failures or out of step with the Torys and fellow Tories or as in this case having been thrown out by the Tory party!
Neil Hamilton was permitted to join Ukip against the advice of many Ukip supporters but Nigel Farage, as so often, saw his judgement as cult leader as omnipotent and very soon gave him a key role on the staff with a very generous salary.
The letter leaked to Michael Crick would seem to indicate you can not teach an old dog new tricks! It would now seem that having embarrassed the Tories over lack of integrity his lack of ethics got the better of him again as he embarrassed Ukip over expenses in their turn!
It would seem that once a scoundrel always a scoundrel!
Explain your expenses: Ukip demands details from Neil Hamilton
Tonight, as Ukip is holding its selection meeting for the constituency of Basildon South, a letter from the Ukip finance committee querying expenses claims made by the former Tory MP Neil Hamilton has been seen by Channel 4 News.
The fact this letter was written on the day that Neil Hamilton was due to appear at the selection meeting in Basildon reflects the deep concerns within the Ukip high command about him becoming the party’s candidate in one of Ukip’s most promising seats.
Previously the Ukip hierarchy barred Mr Hamilton from the party lists for the European elections last May and from the selection contest in Boston and Skegness.
With less than an hour to go before the selection meeting, Mr Hamilton described the leaking of the letter as “a dirty trick” to deliberately destabilise the hustings, saying some of the queries it contained had already been answered.
Given that he had only just seen it, no point-by-point response to the issues raised has yet been forthcoming from Mr Hamilton.
The letter begins:
Dear Neil Hamilton,
To assist you in focusing your mind on Ukip’s simple and not unreasonable request that you explain your expenses claims. Would you please provide details of the following to the F&RC Committee;
1. In the case of each and every mileage claim, detail where you went, who you saw and why you had to make this trip. 2. Provide the invoice for each disbursement that you say you have incurred, detailing why this disbursement was incurred, and in the case of a lunch for example, whom you were having lunch with and for what purpose. 3. Provide an explanation of each stay that has been charged for your wife’s flat detailing why it was more convenient for you to stay there, rather than at your house. 4. State who agreed that you were able to charge for staying in your wife’s flat post the European elections.
The letter also provides confirmation that Mr Hamilton was deposed from his paid job as Ukip campaign manager for the European elections:
5. Prior to the European elections, please confirm who agreed that you would be able to charge for your stay in your wife’s flat , and obviously at the same time set out why, and where you were that required that you utilise this flat on a specific day. – More particularly what interested the committee is why, after you were removed from the job that you were originally allocated prior to the European elections, you continued to use this flat as you were no longer performing that role.
6. To assist you, [Redacted] has specifically told us that he did not agree for you to charge VAT on the salary you received prior to the European Election. We have seen the email trail and would like an explanation as to why you did not go back to those who agreed this salary and why you did not make it known that you intended to charge VAT on your salary by charging Ukip through a company for your services as this incurred Ukip in extra costs. It is accepted that Ukip would have had to pay employer’s NI which is substantially less than VAT. – What is wrong here, is that you failed to go back to the management committee to clear the arrangement knowing that Ukip was at all times during this campaign short of money.
7. To further assist you, in respect of expenses claimed with your new role, (Deputy Chairman Regions) [Redacted] has specifically told us that you could claim expenses for any tasks that he requested you to carry out. Accordingly can you please provide, for each item of work, confirmation that this was specifically done at [Redacted]‘s behest. We note that you have withdrawn your claim for attendance and stay at the Doncaster Conference as you now say that it was wrongly put in due to a “fit of pique” – whatever that means. We further note that you are no longer proceeding with this claim at all. We find this somewhat surprising particularly as, if the expenses can be substantiated, as set out above, there no reason for Ukip not to pay it or for you to withdraw the claim! We need to place on record that we knew nothing of any expense claims you had put into Ukip until [Redacted] brought the expense claim that you have now withdrawn to my attention because [Redacted] had been asked on a couple of occasions by your wife to pay this invoice and [Redacted] felt that we ought to see it to confirm that payment was in order. In addition, prior to this, the NEC had asked for greater information to be provided to them on Ukip’s finances and expenses and no doubt this is what prompted [Redacted] to mention this to us as he was concerned by it. We hope the above will assist you in providing the information that is required to substantiate your claims. You have already had over a month to assemble this information and the F& RC committee should be obliged to receive this information by close of business Friday 19th December, particularly, as [Redacted] has pointed out to us, Ukip’s year end is 31stDecember.
Please do bear in mind that we receive at Lexdrum House handwritten letters from pensioners enclosing a £5 or a £10 note which they have managed to save so as to send it to Ukip and hence we need to make sure that all expenses are fully explainable.
Mr Hamilton became a hugely controversial figure whilst serving as a Tory MP over allegations that he took cash in brown envelopes for asking parliamentary questions, which he has always denied.
Whatever the outcome of the allegations, this is yet more evidence of discord within Ukip.
one can only stand back incredulous at the utter unprofessionalism of UKIP Leadership as they welcome any nere do well with open arms as long as they have failed in another party or have some cheap celebrity or title!
Now we have Farage’s latest bimbette thrust upon us – of talking of thrust what ever happened to his protege Kim Gandy who he happily embraced from the BNP see CLICK HERE
Farage’s ex Tory bimbette Annabelle Fuller who so clearly brought shame on decent UKIP supporters with her foul language, obscene abuse of members on UKIP controlled public forums, record of theft, drunkeness, impropriety, false accusations, breeches of The Data Protection Act and eventually the resignation of UKIP’s then chairman John Witacker no longer willing to lie for Nigel Farage to cover for his doxy!
Ms. Fuller must be considering her position in the light of Farage’s latest failed Tory bimbette who so neatly fits in to represent that other failed old Tory Roger Helmer who facing deselection and clearly piqued at Tory refusal to select his personal choice of successors has defected to UKIP.
One can expect that all to end in tears as clearly Farage will resent being outshone by someone of some competence when he has done so very much to dumb down the party and surround himself with nebishes and nere do wells so that he, like a strutting cockerel shines out as he preens atop the dung heap he has created with his vile little claque of muppets around him!
Just view the foul mouthed sex obsessed obscenities on Twitter of Ms. Swann and the similarity to the vile blogs & comments of Farage’s earlier Tory bimbette the discreditted Annabelle Fuller. Little wonder they both seem to have gravitated to Farage as a showman and the odious and untrustworthy Gawain Towler for as you will note he is wallowing in Ms. Swann’s gutter with his childish comments on Twitter also – they do so demean UKIP!
More to come later when I have time with the details of Ms. Swann’s idiotic and defamatory comments representing the other failed Tory Roger Helmer and supporting the idiocy of the Tory defectee Tom Bursnall in the attack on the unemployed seeking to prevent them voting!
We note UKIP has not publicly admonished them as duty would demand of any ethical organisation – That UKIP sit with their partners the extremists of The EFD Group one can all to readily conjecture that IF they ever gained any authority, unlikely as that clearly is with their serial failure in any domestic elections over the last 20 years, having pronounced the desire to disenfranchise the unemployed might we expect them to persecute the Jews, homosexuals and immigrants also as advocated by their partners?
When I have time later I will provide the links & further details of this odious behaviour from UKIP leadership, staff and their parasites!
Sorry not to have posted earlier but this software is much slower to use as yet and I’m also fairly busy on other issues.
Call back to this blog later for further facts and details ………..
