Greece cuts 150,000, Britain cuts 29,000 but The EU makes absolutely no meaningful effort to save money!

It does seem The EU is using the responsible ‘austerity’ efforts of its vassal regions to enlarge central authority by refusing to act responsibly!!

it is astonishing just howmuch harm The EU has been allowed to do yet it has absolutely no democratic legitimacy or lawful rights – They have effectively seized control to suit a small clique of unelected crooks who have stolen OUR money to bribe an army of parasites to support their corrupt and failed experiment!

CAMPAIGNERS blasted the European Commission last night, claiming its “cost-cutting” programme will axe just SIX of its 41,000 eurocrats.

The EC has promised to take “tough” decisions to save money, including a five per cent staff cut in five years.

But campaign group Open Europe says the Commission plans to cut 286 officials this year — while recruiting 280 new ones ahead of Croatia’s entry into the EU.

It comes just days after the Commission sparked outrage by demanding a 6.8 per cent increase in its budget.

Open Europe analyst Pawl Swidlicki said: “An overall cut of only six out of almost 41,000 EU jobs is particularly galling considering that thousands of public sector posts are being cut in the UK and other member states.

“The Commission’s claims that it is making tough decisions simply aren’t credible.” The Commission disputed the figures, saying there would be a net cut of 121 jobs after the Croatia staff are hired.

Britain axed 29,000 civil service jobs in 2010 and 2011, while Greece is planning to cut 150,000 public sector posts in the next three years.

A Treasury spokesman accused the Commission of “wilfully” ignoring calls for budget restraint and “failing to cut costs or curb chronic high spending”.

If Greece can cut its public sector by 150,000 how come Britain has only managed to cut by 29,000. We used to get far better services from Councils for less money with far fewer staff, now they have armies of useless busy bodies & every idiot and his uncle wants to sit on a Coumncil, mostly for the income as almost none of them have ANY influence over anything – as much use as a soup sandwich or a member of an EU Assembly like Scotland, Wales, London, East Anglia or the like.

Now they want to introduce ANOTHER layer of EU parasites with elected Mayors – typical EU style with more costs, more PC committees and no net gain for the people!

The EU’s Civil Service & staff is bigger than that of China’s Military & Civil Service added together I understand!

But let’s not get too carried away – even some MEPs are speaking out to censure the irresponsible profligacy of the failed EU supra national experiment with its irefutable lack of democracy, lack of electoral mandate and armies of unelected bureacrats CLICK HERE
