talk about unfit for purpose – can you imagine a party that is so unprofessional that it supplies lists of its distribution membership freely, as shown by their crassly amateur, so called, party secretary!

Let us not forget UKIP has a track record of complete irresponsibility in data protection even being censured by The Data protection Commission through the courts!

It was after all UKIP that indulged in Cyber Bullying by posting a candidates confidential video on YouTube.

You will remember the lies and dishonesty and attempted cyber bullying to suppress the truth and intimidate by its press office, NEC members and even the lies of MEPs desperate to suppress the truth! NEC members such as Douglas Denny, Mick McGough or MEPs like Stuart Agnew, Graham Booth, Derek Clark, David Bannerman, Marta Andreasen etc.

Now we see once more the efforts of its leadership to once again force through changes to its constitution, crassly ill presented amateurishly ill written and once more trying desperately to eradicate democracy and concentrate POWER in the hands of one man.

Let us not forget that these efforts have already been voted down previously but be minded UKIP is very much an integral part of The EU scam and like The EU makes its subjects vote and vote and vote again to get the result they ‘demand’!

You will also note for just how long some of its more senior members like Michael Harvey, David Nixon and the like have been trying to persuade the party to act ethically but with little result – you will remember David Nixon resigned almost a year ago but did not carry it through until now – so out of their tiny group of elected Councillors yet another has quit UKIP in disgust at their dishonesty and lack of democracy.

We all KNOW Steven Woolfe was parachuted in as lead candidate as a drinking buddy of Farage’s – The number one list candidate in London was elected by the members yet he has been bumped down to suit Farage!

The elected list, I am reliably informed by several individuals, was:

1st David Coburn
2nd Lawrence Webb
3rd Paul Oakley
4th Steven Woolfe
5th Helen Dixon
6th Elizabeth Jones

Is this what UKIP wishes for our country, rigged elections and selection processes overriding the democratic rights of the voters?

I have been promised a number of letters including resignation letters which I will publish if they take the factual position forward constructively towards a Clean-Up of UKIP to TRY to make it fit for purpose rather than an aid to The EU!

Just consider where the corruption of elections has led UKIP – it was Farage’s CHOICES like David Bannerman, Stuart Agnew (Thick as pig sh*t but loaded – to quote Farage), Ashley Moat parachuted in to raise Farage’s credibility, the liar and fraud Marta Andreasen, Paul Nuttall forcing out Gregg Beaman etc. etc. The list is as long as UKIP’s history and just as corrupt!

You will also remember the esteem in which UKIP leadership hold their councillors from the belated and most perfunctory note of the untimely death of one of their few decent achievers Steve Povey and do note the fact that apart from a rather limp electoral circular they put no effort into retaining any of his seats despite having a willing candidate with public sympathy on his side as his son – UKIP lost EACH seat!

Labour ex-minister and former Staffordshire Moorlands MP Charlotte Atkins won a district council seat from Ukip at Leek North on aswitch of more than 19% since last May.

Tory Neal Podmore gained Staffordshire’s Leek South division.

These two seats became vacant after the death of a Ukip councillor who represented both of them.

Analysis of six comparable results suggest a projected 2% nationwide Labour lead over Conservative, the same margin calculated in aBBC survey of last May’s council polls.

This week’s line-up based on five wards fought both times by all three major parties is: C 36.1%, Lab 34.5%, Lib Dem 19.3%.

C 1661, Lib Dem 1038, Ukip 133, Green 130, Lab 124. (June 2009 – C 2625, Lib Dem 1232, Ukip 557, Lab 139). C hold. Swing 5.2% C to Lib Dem.

Northamptonshire County – Towcester:
Lib Dem 1279, C 638, Ukip 124, BNP 66. (June 2009 – C 1648, Lib Dem 760, Lab 293). Lib Dem gain from C. Swing 31.6% C to Lib Dem.

South Lakeland District – Windermere Town:
Lib Dem 418, C 85, Lab50, Ukip 20. (May 2011 – Lib Dem 537, C 117, Lab 114). Lib Dem hold. Swing 1.7% C to Lib Dem.

South Northamptonshire District – Towcester Brook:
Lib Dem 774, C401, Ukip 129. (May 2011 – Three seats Lib Dem 857, C 831, Lib Dem 811,C 785, 753, Lib Dem 645, Ukip 266, 178). Lib Dem gain from C. Swing 13.6% C to Lib Dem.

Staffordshire County – Leek South:
C 725, Ukip 556, Lab 432, Lib Dem 419, Moorlands Democratic Alliance 336, Ind 192. (June 2009 – Ukip 1766, C 1355, Lib Dem 905, Lab 470, Green 323). C gain FROM Ukip. Swing 7.4% Ukip to C.

Staffordshire Moorlands District – Leek North:
Lab 514, Ukip 188,C 178, Moorlands Democratic Alliance 33, Lib Dem 24 . (May 2011 – Threeseats Ukip 694, Lab 657, 527, C 423, Ukip 336, Ind 277, C 275, 170). Lab gain from Ukip. Swing 19.1% Ukip to Lab.

Suffolk County – Kesgrave and Rushmere St Andrews:
C 1302, Lab 804, Lib Dem 514. (June 2009 – Two seats C 2821, 2799, Lib Dem 1426, 1378, Lab 689, 546). C hold. Swing 13.2% C to Lab.

Suffolk Coastal District – Kesgrave East:

The PEPP ballot was conducted after proper debate and the real UKIP Party voted against it quite rightly. I did say before the PEPP debate that we should see the new Constitution before we voted on the PEPP Issue.

We are now in a situation where 90% of our members will not understand what it is all about when they vote. This is not good enough,

Dear Fellow UKIP members

Thank you so much for writing in with your observations on the constitution.

I respectfully disagree with your proposition and urge you to vote “YES” to this new document which is so important for the future of the Party.

The proposition made is inaccurate as the new Constitution will NOT change candidate selection procedures. The candidate selection procedures will be the same whether or not the Constitution is passed.

The relevant Rules permitting a Constituency Association to select from the Approved List are now within the Party’s Rules of Procedure, which states:

B.5.1 It is the responsibility of branches to seek to nominate candidates for parliamentary and local elections within the branch area, acting in accordance with the rules laid down in Sections R,S,T,U and V of the Rules of Procedure.

S.15 Only applicants on the national approved list may apply to a branch or Constituency Association for an adoption/hustings meeting.

S.16 Adoption/hustings meetings shall be advertised so that all candidates on the Approved List have the right to apply for selection in any constituency.

S.17 Constituency Associations or branches which fail to select candidates within the timescale in the PPC Selection Procedure may forfeit the right to select their candidates, with the responsibility being undertaken by the region.

S.18 Where there is more than one applicant in a given constituency, an open hustings meeting must be held in accordance with the PPC Selection Procedure.

S.19 In this event, the choice of candidate shall be made through a ballot in accordance with the PPC Selection Procedure.

I suggest that these provisions make clear that the effect suggested is not in fact the reality.

Imagine what UKIP would be like if they had ANY authority in Governance!

Herewith some of the paragraphs worth looking at:-

3.3 and 3.4 open the door for pan european parties.

4.2.1 gives NEC carte blanche to introduce whatever they like.

4.3.d does this apply to Lord Pearson?

4.4.1 this allows the Party to keep Lord Pearson in the party ranks.

4.9 Yet another paragraph giving undefined power to the NEC.

6.3 deals with elections to the NEC but no mention of regional representation on the NEC.

7.1 gives the Leader the power to ‘give political direction….and the development of policies. It should be ‘assists in giving political direction’.

12.1.1 gives the NEC unlimited and undefined power concerning selection.

12.1.2 a clumsy way of preventing another Ashley Mote incident.

12.6.7.8 gives power to the NEC and away from the local constituency in
the selection of candidates.

12.11 this strengthens up any undertaking by prospective MEPs to belong to a ‘grouping’ But the make up of such a group is not defined (3.3. and 3.4. would allow for any group ‘subject to the right of the Leaderand the NEC jointly to decide…).

In other words UKIP MEPs can be forced to belong to another EFD or ID group along with those who are federalists and extremists.

Under the new Constitution the selection of candidates for Euro elections and General elections remains with the NEC. Branch or ConstituencynAssociations may only select candidates for Local elections in their area.

I believe that UKIP will not flourish unless Regional and Branch committees have the right to select UKIP candidates for Euro and General elections. Therefore I am voting ‘No’ to the new Constitution.

This is NOT because I have been denied membership of the approved Party list – I have never applied, and have no plans to do so. It is because UKIP is in danger of becoming a fiefdom. We demand that the EU has democratic legitimacy, but deny local activists the most important task of all – the selection of a local candidate to represent their area. Regional committees should have the final decision on Euro candidates – Branch committees on General election candidates. This is not to deny the NEC the right to create an approved list of candidates, but the list must be advisory only.

You have probably received the latest “Independence” magazine with the new Constitution inside with your ballot papers to vote “yes” or “no”. I have had a long chat to some people within UKIP and I have been persuaded to vote NO and I am urging you to do the same.

I have been alerted that there are clauses in the new constitution which make it easier for UKIP to join a Pan-European party and therefore be given a great deal of “our” money to help the EU cause.

Also the membership vote for the Assembly List was re-jigged so the first 2 voted to the top of the list were put further down. I am not happy about this because this is not acceptable in a party purporting to be democratic.

I do hope you will agree with this and vote NO to the new constitution.

Thank you for your response. It would have been nice if the ‘Rules’ to which you refer had also been circulated to members.

However, as you know perfectly well mere ‘Rules of Procedure’ will always be inferior to the principal Constitutional document. If there is any conflict between the two, the Constitution will always prevail, as it so often does in the USA – where the Constitutional issue is always fought out in the final Court of Appeal.

Para B.5.1. of your Rules of Procedure allows branches to ‘nominate‘ candidates but not to decide. I believe that Regional Committees and Branches should have the ‘right to decide‘. Mere nomination to the NEC is a worthless prerogative for Regional and Branch committees because this Constitution transfers real powers of selection to the NEC.

I do not argue with your Paras S.15 to S.19 – but they make no difference to the central objection that the new Constitution cements the right of the NEC to determine who will be selected to represent UKIP in every region for Euro elections, and every constituency for Parliamentary and Local elections.

I regret to say that your response emphatically underlines my fears that UKIP Regional committees and Branch committees are no longer to be trusted to undertake the important role of selecting suitable candidates to represent the local community. Without trust you cannot expect the wholehearted support of grass root members to get behind their candidate. Without strong commited support at local level a candidate’s chance of election is dramatically impaired.

I wonder what UKIP might have achieved if the garbage that has risen to the top had made the efforts and honoured their promises in the same way as Nikki Sinclaire see CLICK HERE.

I note Gerard Batten is spending public money with Nigel Farage’s authority (Farage controls UKIP directly) on harassing employees in Court and rushing around Police Stations trying to find a policeman who has heard of him or is sufficiently impressed by him being an MEP to make a fool of himself arresting them all at Junius and myself for publishing provable FACTS about him!

It seems Gerard Batten thinks he is not only important but so important that he should be allowed to suppress the truth and use his elected office to abuse people and the law!!!

I gather he is making much of some sort of secrecy injunction, he claims loudly to hold yet seems unwilling to publish, preventing publication of details about his defence made in open Court, when he was alleged to have acted racially and I gather in a manner likely to incite racial and religious hatred – or some such.

I gather he is also happy to tell lies for personal gain such as I have never writen about him until recently in my blogs which as you will see from CLICK HERE is a gross misrepresentation of the truth!

I gather he also tries to con people into believing he is NOT under investigation by OLAF despite the irrefutable evidence of an investigation and case numbers!

IF Gerard Batten has something to hide it seems he is making his position worse and not better by trying to hide the actual truth and the facts.

IF I am wrong on ANY of the FACTS I have published I do apologise and will publish the more accurate FACTS as soon as Gerard Batten provides and substantiates them!

It will be interesting to see his open and transparent accounts, and even more interesting to note whether, like Nikki Sinclaire, he can show an audited certificate showing he spent over £40K of his own money on the EUroSceptic cause.

May I remind Gerard Batten that to date NO ONE has EVER shown that either my blog or Junius have EVER published a fact of any consequence that we were unable to substantiate. We try to not only check facts but require more than one source for controversial facts and as members of his own staff will tell you – IF they have the integrity – we endeavour to confirm or warn by direct contact!

Telling lies about me and others in abuse of a public office ill becomes an MEP – most of the slime that lies and attacks me does so as cowards with fake IDs because they are ashamed of their own behaviour.

I gather Gerard Batten has acted corruptly and in cowardice in complete arrogant abrogation of British concepts of Justice, behind my back, trying to manipulate others.

I also note Gerard Batten may bemoan Junius publishing FACTS about him but hasn’t the vaguest clue who comprises the Junius team – yet he wants to have ‘person or persons unknown to him’ arrested on his proven corrupt say so!

You may want to keep up to date with the ethical resignation of Steve Allison from UKIP elected Office and his appointment to Party Office due to his split loyalty one wonders if Peter Reeve will act ethically or hide behind the spin that has been put out that implies work he has been doing for David Bannerman was before he returned to The Tories!

Were this the case one is forced to ask what motivated Gollom to mount such an attack and have such a dispute when he has for many years tried to ride to horses for two masters and acted in an unprincipled manner and for money also.

A measure of the ineptitude of UKIP leadership and its parasites is thet in 20 years they have abjectly failed to make so much as a dent on UK politics with less than 20 elected members holding places in the 19,500 or so domestic governance structure!

Their abject failure to build an organisational structure – provide a vision, have ANY strategy or tactics – put forward absolutely no defence to the EU Constitution which was enacted and imposed as The Lisbon Treaty.

Nor have UKIP provided so much as an exit and survival plan for these United Kingdoms.

Struggling for coherence – by Richard… Thursday, November 17, 2011

Maybe it is just post-operative blues, but I’m struggling to get back into the frame, with the news agenda lacking any apparent coherence. We are seeing much the same EU stories as before, nothing has been resolved and the UK political position is no further forward.

I am grateful, therefore, to Witterings from Witney, for picking up a comment of mine on the Norwegian situation, brought up by Cameron in his Lord Mayor’s Banquet speech, and supposedly rebutted by Farage.

This affords me an opportunity to display some irritation (hey! I’m entitled occasionally) at the limitations of our “own” side. For, while one expects nothing of Cameron – or any of the other Tories who seem impervious to knowledge on the EU – one would hope that our own would take the time to find out something of the organisation of which they speak.

In the case of Norway, this is quite important, as the situation is deemed to be a weak point in the eurosceptic armoury. Even outside the EU, it is held, Britain would have to adopt common trading law, as does Norway but, unlike currently, we would lose any influence in its framing, having thus to adopt in the manner of Norway, laws sent to us by fax from Brussels – the so-called “fax law” option.

Bizarrely, Farage concedes this point, although it is not true and can easily be demolished. We have rehearsed it many times and wrote a definitive piece in May 2008, pointing out the actual situation. Most of these laws are not agreed by the EU at all, but by intergovernmental bodies such as UNECE, of which Norway (and the UK) is a member. The legislation is then processed by the EU commission acting in more of a bureaucratic than legislative role.

In other pieces, such as this, I have pointed out that there are dozens of UNECE-type bodies, which would also continue in place even if we left the EU, and through which we would continue to agree international standards, to which EU members would also be bound. Outside the EU, therefore, we would have just as much influence over single market-type law, adopted by EU members.

The down-side, of course, is that leaving the EU would actually provide less relief from petty regulation than we might imagine, although we could disapply much of it from the domestic market.

This though, is core knowledge which should be shaping the debate. But, tediously, one of the leading players continues to do nothing other than display his ignorance, having never troubled to expand his knowledge-set beyond the basic minimum.

And this is why UKIP risks being left at the starting gate, should we come to a real debate about the mechanics of leaving the EU. The Party has no more to offer than the Tories, and that is perilously little.

One sees, for instance, the halt and the lame in that direction, talking blithely about which powers to repatriate and how they would go about reclaiming them, demonstrating absolutely no practical understanding of the complexities involved.

Strangely, of all the policies at present managed by the EU, the first we should claw back is the research programme. This is quite simply because, to repatriate powers, we must replace policies – otherwise there is no point in so doing. And those that are aware of the processes will be aware that a huge amount of policy development (a complex, expensive and time-consuming process) is funded under the research programme.

Thus, is order to reclaim powers, we must develop new policies and, to do that, we must reclaim the policy-making tools.

And so do we need coherence in the debate. Leaving the EU is eminently practicable, possible and necessary, but only if we are able to offer a credible and realistic pathway. To its shame, the eurosceptic community has yet to deliver on this and, when we hear the likes of Farage parade his ignorance, we wonder how longer we are going to have to wait.

‘Hamilton has the audacity to claim that he wishes to restore self-respect to Britain. Pot calling the kettle black is all I can say to him.’

Hamilton was embroiled in the ‘cash for questions’ scandal in 1994 in which it was reported that Neil Hamilton had accepted money by the then Harrods owner Mohammed Al-Fayed to ask questions in the House of Commons. Following a campaign by anti-sleaze campaigner Martin Bell, Neil Hamilton was heavily defeated in the 1997 general election.

UKIP are on virtually every count unfit for purpose – it could be argued that their ONLY asset is Nigel Farage’s abilities as a salesman when he is on form!

That the likes of Graham Watson can so readily expose the corruption of Farage’s chosen people shows why UKIP hold less than 30 positions of little or no relevance out of the 19,500 available!

Another individual salaried to betray these United Kingdoms is Richard Corbett whose constituents kicked him out of office for his anti UK views and betrayal to The EU only to see him rehired as a goffer and spokesman for the malign EU and its odious unelected apparatchick Herman von Rumpy! The staggering dishonesty and stunning stupidity of UKIP NEC members such as Mick McGough, Douglas Denny, Hugh Williams and their cronies would be hard to over estimate – I guess it is little wonder that the likes of Stuart Wheeler bipass them in decision making, as with the recent appointment of the utterly inept and inappropriate little Michael Heavers [for details see: CLICK HERE] who brings so little to the party beyond his ambition and an ability to make even Stuart Parr look stupid!

Little wonder that UKIP’s incestuous little forum has been bubbling and fizzing with the tantrums of the self important nebishes. Even someone as gullible and naiive as Steve Allison would seem to clearly have woken up to the fact of his own irrelevance – he can not claim he wasn’t warned!

The dishonesty and obvious stupidity of Mick McGough beggars belief with his display of political ignorance on the other UKIP Forum run for them by the weak and dishonest little muppet Anthony Butcher was a sight to behold today with the utterly stupid comment:

That its agents are shown repeatedly not for their achievements which seem insignificant but for their criminality, arrogance, dishonesty and corruption might they be considered to have lost the moral right to lead.

May it be accepted that unable to show any competence, ability or achievement of note and value in their appointed task yet setting out for self enrichment they seek to defend themselves in Court with other people’s money they are clearly without ethic or morality.

UKIP should follow Scottish Tories and disband

Today’s Sunday Telegraph story on the above quoting the Scottish Tories likely new leader, Murdo Fraser was the best example of political leadership I can remember. Mr Fraser has looked at the Tory performance in Scotland and come to the rational conclusion supported by the evidence that North of the border the Tories are finished and has the courage to act on his beliefs. I quote from the ST below.

Murdo Fraser, who is favourite to become leader of the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party, will announce that he plans to wind up the party if he wins a ballot of members next month.

He would follow disbanding the party by launching a new Right-of-centre party that would contest all Scottish elections — council, Scottish Parliament and Westminster.

Mr Fraser, a member of the Scottish Parliament, believes the Conservatives have become a “toxic brand” in Scotland since losing all 11 of their Commons seats in the 1997 Labour landslide.

UKIP needs to do the same and recognise its total electoral failure in the only elections that can lead to the UK leaving the EU, the Westminster elections! UKIP is currently the problem in making progress on this core issue and is not and never can be even part of the solution.

Its name in the blogosphere of EUKIP is well merited. Its leadership has been bribed by EU money and flattery into Brussels based EU supporters and much, much worse blocking the development of a real leave the EU party in the UK. It is irretrievably dominated by the same old toxic Tories, Pearson, Gill, Farage etc that the Scots Tory leader elect recognises as an insurmountable barrier to winning MPs in Scotland. And look at UKIP’s latest recruit and star conference speaker, Neil Hamilton! A man who led the way in expenses scandals long before duck houses became fashionable.

Tim Congdon, one of the leaders in the No vote campaign against Farage’s pan Europe party is also down to speak at the UKIP conference sharing a platform with Bloom who is alleged already to have signed up to a Pan Europe party and a Czech EU reformist called Mach whom I have never heard of. Tim’s political compass needs looking at. If he wants out of the EU he should keep well away from these EU, mid European apologists.

UKIP can rid itself of these toxic, unreconstructed old Tories only by disbanding and immediately reforming as broad based centrist anti EU party ie a party that could win Westminster seats like the Greens. This is the best and only contribution EUKIP can make to getting us out of the EU. The people are there to do it. Nikki Sinclaire, Mike Natrass, Trevor Colman and John Bufton. UKIP’s NEC is simply a Farage rubber stamp group of mushrooms. Kept in the dark and fed plenty of shit. Batten is politically spineless against Farage and Andreasen is the Monet dream made flesh.

It is down to those 4 MEPs to show some leadership. What have they to lose? Farage will never allow them to go on any UKIP MEP slate again. That is of course the real reason Bannerman jumped ship to the Tories. It had nothing to do with his profound admiration of EU phile boy Dave. As soon as he stood against Farage for the leadership he was toast. He knew that as does anyone who knows Farage. Look at what has happened to the others who have stood against Farage in leadership contests.

Its a pity Tim Congdon lacks a political sense. As one ministers PPS once said to me that its like a sixth sense and if you don’t have it you will never succeed in politics. Del Young has it big time. That is why he had to be marginalised and got rid off. Tim would be better off taking Del’s advice than Batten’s or Steve Allison. Both think they will be allowed onto the UKIP MEP slate in 2014. Knowing Farage, if he is still leader, I would not bet on either Batten or Allison appearing higher than 10, if at all, on any regional MEP slate.

The members also voted resolutely against his AV proposition and his Local Elections were catastrophic.

Politically poor old Tim but Dim lacks the required abilities to lead, Stuart Wheeler has shown he is happy to collude in corruption and has the judgement skills sufficient to have gambled and made a fortune which he has proceeded to loos by £Millions ever since.

Just look at how he behaves and the calliber of people he funds and even in UKIP he knows the NEC are untrustworthy and irrelevant so he ignores them.

EUkip has made itself apparent as no more than a Judas Goat, a claque of Plastic EUroSceptics who are unable to show a single solitary actual achievement that has placed these United Kingdoms closer to Leave-The-EU.

To be fair they have trousered a great deal of money, have helped The EU gain a great deal of credibility and have set out to sabotage numerous initiatives being more interested in their wealth creation, self interest and ensuring they do not upset the cart that delivers their apples.

Who would be worth saving when their ship sinks with their top 100 on.

Please – just a few names would be worth considering for I know of none.

EUkip has for some time now been very much a part of the problem with no place in the solution.

Clearly I have been for many years and still am a resolute supporter of UKIP but clearly I will NOT tolerate corruption and deceit of any kind and I consider the befouled EUkip to be irredeemable – I regret.

I see Mike Smith who was recently announced as having stood down as the long term Branch Chairman of UKIP Gloucester is struggling manfully to keep up to speed on the latest leaks from the sieve and machinations by the corrupt in UKIP to ajust AFTER THE DEBATE the question for the internal referendum most likely to obtain the vote the leadership would seem to favour for their utterly corrupt leadership team and its parasites.

Dishonest and corrupt individuals like Stuart Agnew NFU MEP, Mick McGough and their ilk – proven repeatedly to be liars and cheats.

Astonishingly this sort of dishonest chicanery and corrupt undemocratic behaviour is not brought to us by The EU this time but by their long term trough dwellers UKIP – which is even more concerning as they are the party that advocates as part of a style of government that there are regular referendums for the voters – yet when they hold one it is as corrupt as The EU and almost as corrupt as The Devolution of Wales referendum where the rules were changed 7 times on the day of the count and ballot boxes were stuffed with Yes votes whilst NO votes were destroyed or removed – This is devolving into the same level of dishonesty and farce that has come with UKIP leadership elections on a regular basis!

The situation regarding the wording of the Question to be put to members has descended into absolute farce.
I was told last Monday by a very reliable source that the current version of the Question is;

“Should the UK Independence Party’s MEPs join a European Political Party as defined under Regulation EC2003/2004?”

This had not been announced officially because some members of the NEC had not been contacted.
Consequently, the debates at Birmingham and Liverpool went ahead based on the original version of the Question as printed in Independence.

Mayoral election: Have you seen this woman?

A young woman hoping to become the most powerful person in Leicester has left voters asking one question: Where is she?

Regine Anderson is standing to become the first directly elected mayor of the city as the UKIP candidate.

But the 18-year-old has not appeared at any of the hustings events so far, and party organisers have said she does not plan to attend any of them.

Nor did she join party leader Nigel Farage when he visited the city on Saturday.

The party has not released any information or details about the candidate, other than a single, passport-sized photograph.

June Wright, 56, an undecided voter from Hamilton who has attended three hustings events so far, said: “It’s obvious that this individual is nothing more than a paper candidate.

“Other than representing UKIP in name only on the ballot paper, there’s been no attempt to take part in the democratic process.”

Attempts by the Mercury to contact Ms Anderson have been unsuccessful as the party has not returned calls or e-mails asking for her contact details.

One UKIP-supporting Twitter user said: “I found her on Facebook but she won’t get back to me. It’s all a bit strange.”

During Mr Farage’s visit on Saturday, the party’s Leicester South by-election candidate, Abhijit Pandya, told the Mercury Ms Anderson was busy studying for her A-levels but would be releasing a statement this week.

That UKIP is made to look foolish by fielding a little girl unable to acquit herself and too shy to compete for the votes she CLAIMS to want for the job she CLAIMS to want.

Does this not rather remind one of the little girl at Belfast University who set out to exploit UKIP by featuring the fact she had been on their MEP selected list as seemingly a stunt to enhance her CV at UKIP’s expense.

Is it really any wonder that UKIP is treated as far from serious and endlessly bumps along the bottom of the domestic league with 3-6% support!

Do explain how UKIP can claim to be other than unfit for purpose in the light of this sort of behaviour, when not fiddling expenses, colluding with racists, promoting anti homosexuality, assisting anti Judaism and dressing up as chickens as they squabble and lie about anyone who dares to criticise their childish stunts and irresponsible lack of any meaningfull signs of leadership of an adult nature!

Sadly we can only empathise with the embarrassed members of UKIP – particularly in the East Midlands following the ‘selection’ of UKIP’s Leicester mayoral candidate.

We do at least know her name though it seems there was no democratic process to select her – is she someone’s mistress or daughter? Her name is Regine Amanda Anderson and she is clearly very shy, seeking to keep herself hidden from view which is a strange stance for a party which gratuitously seeks to victimise women who wish to wear the Burqa, to remain hidden!

We do know she is only 18 years of age and still at school taking ‘A’ Levels.

We are also advised that the East Midlands Regional Committee was not even informed that she was standing.

We also hear there was no official interview/selection process for the position!

It all starts to sound like previously utterly corrupt UKIP internal selection processes as with CLICK HERE or the utterly corrupt and corrupted parachuting into leadership of Nigel Farage based on lies, dishonesty and filth on the NEC and in The Press Office.

We understand Ms. Anderson’s main sponsor is a certain Abhijit Pandya, but have no details of their relationship though we do note Mr. Pandya is 31 and something of a self publicist claiming close links with Lord Pearson of Rannoch which ultimately led him to defect from the Conservative Party and join the UKIP in 2009!

In the 2010 UKIP Leadership Contest he emerged as a supporter of Nigel Farage, and was made Head of Research for the campaign, we must therefore conclude he was working very closely with Annabelle Fuller as it is claimed she is not only close to Nigel Farage but her company Athena-PR was responsible for Farage’s election and she personally is on Farage’s pay roll also.

Ms Anderson is described by Leicester’s Returning Officer – in the official election booklet:

– as failing to provide an election address. She refuses to take part in hustings, declines to engage in electioneering, ignores requests for information from the press and refuses to give even basic details about her background.

Hardly a ringing endorsement!

We can only assume that her youth and inexperience have both played a large part in this fiasco. Someone in UKIP’s bent leadership really needs to have a word with her about the basic rules of campaigning.

It may come as a surprise to her but the electorate of Leicester actually have a right to know a little bit about who they are voting for. Does she really expect the voters of Leicester to select a candidate that declines to list her policies or even her basic political beliefs?

Or is she just too ashamed to admit to her friends that she is standing for UKIP?

We can’t really blame if that is the case. Would ANY right minded person want to be associated with a party thatcolludes with and supports racists and fascists in Farage’s EFD group?

Former MEP faces ‘judgement day’ in ECJ hearing

Former UK MEP Den Dover will go to court later this week to contest a decision that he should repay part of his parliamentary expenses.

The European Court of Justice in Luxembourg is expected to give its ruling on the case on Thursday.

Parliament says that between 1999 and 2008 it paid a total of just over €1m to a company called MP Holdings Ltd which listed as its directors Den Dover’s wife and daughter.

The money came from the allowance intended to pay the salaries and costs of a MEPs‘ staff and Dover’s company was supposed to administer it independently.

Questions about the arrangements started to be asked in 2006 but it was not until 2008 that parliament’s secretary general suggested that there was a conflict of interest and asked for details of the actual expenditure.

In October, the secretary general ruled that for the period August 1999 to June 2008 only €482,000 could be justified as having been paid in salaries, national insurance and legitimate staff travel expenses.

On Tuesday, a parliament spokesman told this website, “We will wait for the decision of the court. If the court supports parliament’s position, then parliament will continue steps to recover the funds from the former MEP.

“However, parliament has no powers to prosecute anyone.”

UK Liberal Democrat MEP Chris Davies has campaigned for more transparency in MEPs’ pay and allowances and has taken a particular interest in the Dover case.

Davies said, “I hope that most people elected to parliament know the difference between right and wrong, honourable and dishonourable behaviour, without having to have it laid down by law. But the fact is that some do not – as recent ‘cash for amendments’ – revelations suggest.“

He said the scale of abuse that “seems to have become common practice” amongst some MEPs was revealed in a secret report by parliament’s internal auditor in June 2008.

Davies said, “I was one of the few MEPs who had the chance, as a member of the budgetary control committee, to read the report in a sealed room.

“The report led to changes which have very significantly curbed the abuse of the secretarial allowance payments, but disgracefully, parliament is still requesting that the Court of Justice keeps the auditor’s report secret. This is ridiculous given that it can be found on the internet.

“So Den Dover might well feel very hard done by to have been fingered and chased by parliament when so many others seem to have got away with it.

“Indeed, I think he could have got away with it himself if he hadn’t tried to be clever and make payments through an ‘independent’ company.

“My interpretation of the rules that applied at the time is that he could have legitimately paid the entire allowance to his wife in her capacity as his secretary. She could have been the best paid secretary in the world but the payments wouldn’t have been challenged.”

He went on, “On Thursday we find out whether the court agrees that the financial abuse was flagrant and the money must be repaid.

“Alternatively, the court could just agree that the parliamentary rules were so lax for years that it would not be fair to demand retrospective repayments now.”

The case before the ECJ is administrative not criminal, but if Den Dover is required to repay the money does it end there?

“In Britain, MPs have gone to jail for wrongly claiming €22,000. What length of imprisonment would be justified by false claims for €573,000?”

Tomorrow is judgement day for former UK Conservative MEP Den Dover (North West region). The European Parliament is demanding that he repay £538,290 that it alleges was wrongly claimed by him between 1999 and 2008. He is contesting the decision and the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg is about to give its ruling.

The Parliament says that over this period it paid a total of £959,446 to a company called MP Holdings Ltd which had as directors Dover’s wife and daughter. The money came from the allowance intended to pay the salaries and costs of an MEPs’ staff, and the company was supposed to administer it independently and at arm’s length from the MEP, although it seems that Dover’s staff included his wife and daughter (part-time)

Questions about the arrangements started to be asked in 2006 but it was not until 2008 that the Parliament’s Secretary-General suggested that there was a conflict of interest and asked for details of the actual expenditure. In October the Secretary-General ruled that for the period August 1999 to June 2008 only £421,156 could be justified as having been paid in salaries, national insurance and legitimate staff travel expenses.

So what does the Parliament consider was illegitimate expenditure?

£101,068 for three cars

£15,404 for office supplies and equipment, £89,235 for postage and stationery, £100,735 for the costs of rent and renovation of Den Dover’s ‘office’, which just happened to be in his private home, and £20,767 for telephone costs (MEPs get a separate allowance for all these office expenses, and none of them are supposed to be paid from the staff budget)

£17,880 for ‘entertainment expenses’

And (just) £200 in donations to the Conservative Party (!!!).

The Parliament says that the rest of the money it wants back represents the costs of VAT that the company apparently failed to pay to the UK’s HMRC.

Dover’s defence seems mainly be to challenge the figures, claim that the Parliament should prove that the money was wrongly spent rather than force him to prove that it was properly used, and declare that the European Parliament had never made absolutely clear that MEPs might have to produce evidence of how the money had been spent. He says that the Parliament went along with the arrangements for years without challenging them or suggesting that procedures needed to be tightened.

I hope that most people elected to the European Parliament know the difference between right and wrong, honourable and dishonourable behaviour, without having to have it laid down by law. But the fact is that some do not – as recent ‘Cash for Amendments’ – revelations suggest.

I wonder if Nigel Farage will be considered liable under the same rules having dishonestly and corruptly paid a family member around £30,000 a year, put a block entry in his constituency office of £211,000 for office sundries, which amounted to over 50% of the expenses and paid £6,000 to have an accountant sign off the books which were fully drawn up. Condoned and colluded in the payment of around £250,000 from a UKIP enterprise into a private bank account, paid £250,000 into one of his own off shore banks in a single cheque – the list of, if not criminal, downright suspicious transfers of money in a clandestine manner is far from short!

Then of course there was the claim made as a boast to Denis McShane regarding personal profit over and above his salary and incurred expenses that he would guess he had trousered around £2 Million at that stage.

There is of course the detail of the fact that at the time Nigel Farage claimed that the various apparent scams he was involved in regarding Ashford Employment, in its various ‘guises’, that it was THE most profitable activity UKIP had ever engaged in – meanwhile The Chairman of UKIP at the time David Bannerman, claimed that less than 15% of the money raised had ever reached UKIP’s account!

No doubt were he honest Douglas Denny could throw much light on this, as he would seem to be patsy for much of the fantasies that surround UKIP accounts, having been for a period Party Secretary and the Treasurer for Nigel Farage’s EU Region. Sadly we are unlikely to get any honest answers from Douglas Denny who has a long track record of dishonesty, fantasy and abuse.

Was the truth behind what seems to be outright scams within UKIP – including the various rip offs and failure to account 100s of £1,000 of tax payers money in Petitions that were never held yet were provided with tax payers’ money and various other scams that would seem to have been funded by UKIP members unwittingly.

Was this the reason why Nigel Farage deliberately engineered the removal of Martin Hasslam which coincidentally involved Nigel Farage’s family friend and in fact protege in UKIP Buster Motrom.

The amount of quite blatant money laundering that has involved what seems very clearly to be a criminal element that have control of the leadership of UKIP is to those of us who had hoped for probity and integrity of UKIP, quite shamefull.

Break ins, thefts from offices, trousering of public money, false witness, lies about elected members and deliberate smear campaigns, desperate attemts by the filth gathered as leadership to try to defame me – all of which have spectacularly failed as not one single fact I have published in 1,000s of postings has EVER been proven wron, dishonest or misleading – then there is the harrassment and abuse of members who seek answers and a relatively indifferent police force seemingly too bone idle to investigate the thefts and fiddles of these politicians and their parasites.

Hi,

I gather Nigel Farage also featured with Yvette Cooper, Vincent Cable and Michael Hesseltine on The Sex Offenders Register!

I did not watch Question Time as I do not watch TV nor have I as yet been able to provide a link to the iPod of the programme for others to watch it.

However several people have phoned me up and I gather Nigel Farage was on form. Some thought he put in one of his best Question Time performances to date – amongst other subjects discussing The EHRC and prison and The Sex Offenders’ Register.

I gather he also held his own and in fact dealt Michael Hesseltine something of a blow at some stage.

I know no more than that I’m afraid, but I have ALWAYS said Nigel Farage can be a very good performer when on form, it is just such a tragedy that he gathers such odious people around him – he thus ends up looking like a strutting cockrell on a dung heap, where sadly he has reduced UKIP leadership team to being the dung heap piled high to show he is UKIP’s only visible asset.

That Farage has convinced anyone of the wisdom of associating with the filth of EU politics seemingly just so that he can personally make more money as leader of the vile Pan EU Political EFD Group I find amazing as they are vile and it demeans the decent folk in UKIP who are left.

Clearly Farage is without ethics, morality or any sign of Officer Quality and lacks even the basic understanding of leadership – it is a tragedy that UKIP has NEVER had a leader with a moral compass or basic ethics – Just think what UKIP could have achieved had it attracted an individual of stature as a leader who could have made much of Farage’s undoubted abilities as a showman and soundbite salesman.

Lets face it had Farage had a leader who prevented him surrounding himself with the pond life of politics and a string of parasites masquerading as his favoured staff and advisers he would not have dragged UKIP into the gutter and competence rather than cunning would have been the measure of the leadership.

One can only hope UKIP is redeemable as our lifeboat but I fear it is unlikely for as long as it adulates the idiocy of Farage as a leader, the sleaze and pernicious trash of such as Mark Croucher, Annabelle Fuller, Mick McGough, Andrew Smith, Douglas Denny, http://john-ison.blogspot.com/, Stuart Parr, Gawain Towler, Peter Reeve, Don Ranson – then there are the MEPs and lets face it they are WITHOUT EXCEPTION trash and between them there is not ONE who represents any ethics, morality or fundamental competence I even begin to hold in other than utter contempt – liars, fools and cheats to a man and as for the Spanish charlatan!

Once again I am happy to praise Farage as a performer when on form though at times he shoots himself in both feet by presenting himself as a fool but that is for lack of sound advice from the trash around him and his massive insecurity that so desperately needs reassurance and praise from the dishonest rabble of paid praise singers.

If only UKIP had a leader and someone who had some idea of ethics, morality and probity they could have done great things! I believe they could have led Britain OUT of The EU but I regret they have and will continue to fail for lack of leadership skills, basic morality, fundamental ethics and a visible lack of vision no clear strategy and clearly no acceptable tactics.

It is astonishing that the Party has held onto office in the light not of their amateurism but their endemic dishonesty, corruption and utter incompetence.
