UKIP / EFD Conference Puts EUkip Out on A Limb! Making Legal Fools of Themselves! Whilst Obviously with Leadership UKIP could have done so well capitalising on Farage whilst he was controlled for Britain’s Benefit!
.
~~~~~~~~~~#########~~~~~~~~~~
Hi,
After the embarrassing debacle of the EFD Conference and the day allocated to UKIP with its more of the same soundbites, same grouping of about 400 sold as many more and as ever implausible speeches – right down to the elderly failed Tory wheeled out on stage as the only apparent turn they could muster.
Save of course the efforts to wheel Jon Gaunt out as their Judas Goat, having failed totally to achieve anything of substance – in fact having failed to even keep his organisation up to date or with an executive staff anymore! – I’ll grant you it had been professionally & deliberately sabotaged by those Plastic EUroSceptics who having been denied the right to politically control and be in political command and make political capital for themselves set out themselves as Judas Goats to hijack the Peoples’ Pledge and turn it once again into The Politicians’ vehicle!
They lack even the gonnadic ability to admit that The Pledge has failed be it the original Pledge which Jon Gaunt has now jumped on the band waggon of seemingly a career move, possibly even hoping for a job with UKIP as with poor old Neil Hamilton!!!
Then of course there is that other failure the Marc Glendenning, Bob Crow, Labour inspired Judas Goat that has been set up as The Politicians’ vehicle with Dan Hannon and the like who seek to embarrass David Cameron.
That too has failed and crano rectally retentive as these self serving fools are preening in the mirror can they not understand they are making fools of themselves as severall weeks ago it was announced that The Petition Campaign for an in/out Referendum had reached the 100,000 target required and some whilst the Judas Goats were squabbling and trying to gain the upper hand with less than 50,000 signatures – Whilst they squabbled like Politicians the real work had been done by The Independent Nikki Sinclaire MEP with a small group of cross party MPs and MEPs THEY DELIVERED whilst the Plastic EUroSceptics acted like Judas Goats to sabotage the Petition concept THEY FAILED.
On Thursday last Nikki Sinclaire MEP and her supporters DELIVERED 100,000+ Signatures to Drowning Street and officially to The Rump Parliament at Westminster.
I note with interest Team Farage have systematically shot themselves in the foot – It was their well publicised intent to bring Nikki Sinclaire back into the fold having found themselves at risk of a staggeringly costly High Court action with the huge damages potential to follow!
As I predicted – an apology was issued to ameliorate the guilty verdict where the Courts found against Nigel Farage, Godfrey Bloom and UKIP in favour of Nikki Sinclaire.
I predicted huge efforts would be made to try to capitalise on her achievements since she disassociated herself from the extremist and vile EFD Group and the Farage Party Faction’s persuit of personal revenue!
I predicted all would be overtures UNTIL the EFD Conference was over (YES EFD as UKIP was willing to jump through any EU hoop and give the EU dream [Nightmare] credibility in return for the EU funding their conference!) – I then said the pretend deal would start to unravel.
It may amuse watchers of the sordid dishonesty of UKIP Leadership claque that they made much of TRYING to portray Nikki Sinclaire as unfit by virtue of a technical bankruptcy which Farage’s gutter rat had routed out in the sewers of his life – for which he, Mark Croucher, tried to claim glory when it was years earlier that I had provided the details and the fact that it was a complete irrelevancy pre dating her appointment to any office.
Strangely it has been made clear and deliberately leaked that UKIP will, if Nikki Sinclaire proceeds to The High Court, claim they suspended her right to represent UKIP BECAUSE she was once years ago a bankrupt.
Intertestingly this just won’t wash and digs the hole even deeper for UKIP!
Firstly it was public domain, irrelevant and common knowledge that she had been bankrupt when Nigel Farage as leader selected her as a candidate in an MEP constituency. Yet astonishingly the febrile excuse for his having lied about her and defamed her to get rid of her as a UKIP MEP when he forced his puppet Malcolm Pearson to write that scurrilous letter and outright lie was that she had to be removed as she had once in the past been a bankrupt and that she was discharged as a bankrupt years ago was irrelevant.
This was used as the excuse for firing her yet not firing Mike Nattrass or Trevor Colman who had also had sufficient integrity to leave the racist, extremist and violent EFD Group, yet not firing them!
So I guess Neil Hamilton will mnever be able to be an MEP or on The NEC and of course he will have to be fired from his position as the new Muppet of Wiltshire or whatever Farage calls his Branch/Regional appointed Chairmen who have never been elected and get parachuted in for his gain!
Although Neil Hamilton has been a member of UKIP for 6 years and is a Bankrupt Farage has a rule for people he can make money out of and another rule for people who challenge his corruption I guess!
Well it is The Farage Fund Raising Party I guess – but I guess that will cost UKIP members 10s of £1,000 when it comes to the High Court but why should Farage worry when UKIP received £8,500 compensation for an error in The Sunday Times that of course will have gone to Farage and when the Bills come in for his many lost Court cases those Bills go to the members!
What a charlatan Nigel Farage is but as I have always said Farage is UKIP’s greatest liability with his salaried sex life, drunken thieves on the staff, consorting with prostitutes and well known drunken reveries but he is also their only assett as he has made sure by surrounding himself with the weak, the venal and the corrupt, liars, cheats and bullies.
Not one of the leadership team is other than the scum that has risen in the septic tank Farage has built.
He is however quite a good performer all be it a uselesas leader as this video shows: .
UKIP Conference & Its True Calliber! Displayed in all its failed values & Grubby Greed!! .
Hi,
do excuse me for having failed to post for a few days but knowing The EFD (Friday) & UKIP (Saturday) Party Conference were on and well aware it would just be a repeat of the sound bites of such events in UKIP I felt it to be an appropriate time to spend a few days away (which we never announce in advance 😉
On return today I note from the many reports that the event almost totally lived down to prediction with the only real highlight being the number of people observed congratulating Nikki Sinclaire MEP, now an Independent who alone (with her team) and a little help from Mike Nattrass MEP & Trevor Colman MEP now that they have disassociated themselves from the vile extremism of The Pan EU Political EFD Group, she has achieved far more towards raising serious awareness and having delivered a petition of over 100,000 signatures at Drowning Street, in Petition towards an In/Out Referendum to Leave-The-EU has out performed the Plastic EUroSceptics and Judas Goats so prevalent in The Tories and amongst EUkip leadertship.
Itt is clear they have very little desire to Leave-The-EU as their income streams & bribes would cease and pension funds would collapse having been dishonestly gained.
It was almost amusing to watch the true supporters wishing to Leave-The-EU making every effort to curry favour with her and making every effort to welcome her and seek to convince her to return and those who felt their incomes and positions challenged doing all they could to avoid her – Farage included, even the stupid woman who in her ill mannered ignorance felt it incumbent on her to berate Sinclaire for her efforts – amusingly no one knew who the foolish woman was! Well she must have done a lot for UKIP and the cause of leaving the EU!
Nikki Sinclaire’s Petition as a concrete action to Leave-The-EU speaks so much more clearly than all of EUkip’s fluffy words and efforts to ReForm The EU, with their various extremist partners over the years.
Sadly there was absolutely nothing else of worth or merit to report from a very lack luster conference with around 400 in attendance and many of the same soundbites of recent previous years, the same calliber of low lifes and self serving scoundrels making the same noises to great adulation from a handfull of gullible followers mostly hoping for preferment or at very least crumbs from the table in some cases like Mick McGough and the like in return for their lies and willingness to show themselves for the unpleasant and dishonest people they most clearly are, like maggots and flies on a dung heap with their strutting poppinjay crowing from on top.
A coalition ally of Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi has provoked outrage after he praised the rantings of Norwegian right-wing terrorist Anders Behring Breivik.
Mario Borghezio, an MEP with the anti-immigration Northern League party, who have campaigned against Muslims and the building of mosques, said Breivik had some ‘excellent’ ideas.
Speaking on an Italian radio show he said he agreed with the maniac’s ‘opposition to Islam and his explicit accusation that Europe has surrendered before putting up a fight against its Islamisation.’
‘Excellent’ ideas: Mario Borghezio, an Italian MEP for the anti-immigration Northern League party, left, said he agreed with terrorist mass-murderer Anders Breivik, right, on his views about Muslim immigrants and Islam in Europe
Though Borghezio added that he did not however agree with the use of extreme violence, or Breivik’s anti-Papal views, his comments immediately unleashed a storm of fury with his own party apologising to still grieving Norway.
Northern League chief Roberto Calderoli said: ‘His comments are terrible and completely unqualified and we can only apologise to the families of the victims for the delirium of what he said.’
The Northern League is a key ally of Berlusconi’s ruling right-wing coalition and, although the prime minister did not comment personally, members of his party also rounded on Mr Borghezio.
Carlo Giovanardi, an MP for the Christian Democratic Party, said: ‘Is it too much to ask for our Northern League friends to throw Borghezio out of their party?
‘We have vain hopes he will resign for what he said but that is unlikely to happen.’
Italy’s Foreign Minister Franco Frattini also stepped into the row over Borghezio’s comments and said: ‘He should offer Norway his personal apologies.
‘We as a government cannot intervene directly with an MEP – but we have made it very clear that the best course of action would be for him to make a personal apology.
‘His own party has disassociated themselves from him and that is a very important sign – he must feel the duty to say himself that he is sorry for what he said.
‘Any message of racism, xenophobia and exclusion or which leads to an incitement of violence or an emulation of violence must be condemned.’
Horror: This picture shows Breivik stalking Utoya island, surrounded by the bodies of his young victims, with one in the water pleading for his life
Terror: Debris is seen on the street after the car bomb planted by Breivik detonated outside a government building in Oslo
Today internet forums were ablaze with furious comments against Borghezio with one popular post saying that he ‘needs to be locked up in a mental asylum and have the key thrown away.’
But there were some comments in his favour with some saying he was ‘speaking the truth’ and calling on the Northern League to ‘support him instead of attack him’.
A new headache: Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi is still reeling from national debt problems and a string of high profile scandals
Borghezio himself was unrepentant and added: ‘I said what I said because I have the impression this massacre has a purpose, I don’t think this lunatic meant his act to have this outcome.
‘What we should ask ourselves is how can someone who was supposed to have been on a watch list been allowed to go around and do what he did?
‘Christians should not be sacrificial animals – they should be defended.’
Borghezio has a long history of anti-immigration campaigning – in 2005 he was found guilty of arson, after setting fire to pallets of some migrants sleeping under a bridge in Turin during a vigilante raid.
The centre-left opposition called for Borghezio to resign from the European Parliament.
David Sassoli, an MEP with Italy’s Democratic Left opposition, said: ‘It is a matter of shame for all of us that a representative of the ruling coalition made apologetic remarks about one of the cruelest acts of terrorism.’
UKIP supporters and those genuinely anti EU membership are clearly far from happy with the attrocious behaviour of Nigel Farage and his claque in his extremist EFD Group and when one then finds these self same scum of EU Politics turning up as guest speakers at UKIP events and are minded that The EFD members represent each other on EU Committees it is clear that with Farage and his leadership claque UKIP has no meaningful future acting on behalf of informed British people.
UKIP would seem to be determined to move itself from being a possible part of the solution to being a very clear part of the problem.
No one could reasonably say that Nigel Farage is other than a good performer and Liga one of the prostitutes with whom he was well publicised cavorting, as with Annabelle they have been both explicit and graphic in describing him as a good performer.
However I have never heard anyone with one wit of judgement, that could be respected, describe him as having any of the OQ (Officer Qualities) essential for a leader. He is an attrocious judge of character and it seems a worse strategic or tactical planner with no vision for the future much beyond his various scams, bank accounts and zip!
Yet again we have further provenance of his lack of integrity, self serving dishonesty and undeniable corruption – that is not for a moment to gain say he is UKIP’s greatest asset – sadly that is more a reflection on the low calliber of those he has gathered around him than of his abilities – a good sound bite man, a well rehearsed speaker and his scripts are well performed.
Sadly it is undeniable that he is both untrustworthy and untrusted as shown in the exchanges below from the UKIP controlled Forum managed by the weak, dishonest and venal Anthony Butcher in default of the political career he so aspired to!
the Northern League and UKIP are the two largest parties in EFD, each with 9 MEPs in the group out of a group total of 27 MEPs. And the leader of the Northern League MEPs – and co-president of EFD – is Francesco Speroni, who is one of the two MEPs to have made these astonishing remarks supportive of Norway’s worst ever mass murderer. So when Farage quite rightly demands a retraction and apology for the remarks, or else UKIP will suspend its EFD membership, he may well be signalling the end of the EFD group.
Compare your last sentence quoted above with what is actually happening. It took just 24 hours for the back-tracking to start!
Remember:
Speroni was directly quoted by the Guardian, saying:
“Breivik’s ideas are in defence of western civilisation”,and“I’m with Borghezio. I don’t think he should resign. If [Breivik’s] ideas are that we are going towards Eurabia and those sorts of things, that western Christian civilisation needs to be defended, yes, I’m in agreement”.
In a statement on 28 July, UKIP said Nigel Farage had contacted Speroni, his EFD co-president,
“to demand an immediate retraction and apology following his remarks and those of his fellow Northern League MEP Mario Borghezio . . . . If no retraction is forthcoming then UKIP will suspend its membership of the EFD group in which it sits alongside the Italian political party”.
On 29 July, UKIP’s follow up statement said Speroni had written to Farage saying that he condemns the massacre and the extreme fundamentalism in question – an addition to his earlier remarks.
Has Speroni withdrawn the statements he made in support of Borghezio?
No, he has not.
Has Speroni retracted his agreement with Breivik’s ideas?
No, he has not.
Has Speroni apologised?
No, he has not.
Has Nigel Farage suspended UKIP MEPs’ membership of the EFD as he said he would?
Apparently not. It seems Borghezio has been suspended by his party and UKIP says it is satisfied that this
“will send a clear message that they, and we will not have any truck with such disgraceful sentiments now or in the future”.
Farage is convening the EFD next week to suspend Borghezio from the group.
So that’s it. The book thrown at Borghezio; Speroni quietly forgotten. UKIP can trumpet that Farage has taken “prompt action”, and the EFD can survive with the temporary loss of one Italian.
Note that Farage’s demands for “an immediate retraction and apology” from Speroni are for home consumption only. The EFD‘s website doesn’t mention them, or the threat to suspend UKIP MEPs’ membership of the group.
Maybe he wasn’t trying to satisfy Guardian readers in particular, but to satisfy anyone who thinks that the comments made by Mr Borghezio were vile, which is hopefully the vast majority of people all over the world.
An interesting aspect of this is that one of those who has condemned Borghezio’s comments, calling them “terrible, unspeakable remarks”, is the Lega Nord MP and cabinet minister Roberto Calderoli, the man indirectly responsible for UKIP MEPs and their allies expelling the Lega Nord from their previous Independence & Democracy group.
Calderoli was not even an MEP, yet in 2006 his party was expelled from the Ind/Dem following his provocative comments and TV appearance wearing a T-shirt bearing a copy of one of the Danish Muslim cartoons.
There has been no talk of expelling Speroni and Borghezio, whose comments have caused the current outrage; only of UKIP MEPs ‘suspending’ their EFD membership.
And it looks like Farage is welching on even that!
He gave Speroni an ultimatum – make an immediate full retraction and apologise, or we suspend our membership of the group.
Speroni has done neither. He’s stuck two metaphorical fingers up at UKIP’s leader and Farage has backed down, talking now of convening the EFD Bureau to suspend Borghezio instead.
He wouldn’t need to run to the Bureau for consent if he’d kept his word and suspended UKIP’s membership. He could have done that all by himself!
Well that is not so good. What are they doing in the EFD? I didn’t think the Lisbon Treaty had anything to do with either freedom or democracy. In my view that would be far more offensive than something someone said in front of a load of emotional halfwits.
Presentation of the work programme of the Swedish Presidency (debate) 15 July 2009 Francesco Enrico Speroni, on behalf of the EFD Group.
We must overcome the crisis of confidence that undoubtedly exists. The poor turnout at the elections of this Parliament is a symptom of this, and to overcome it, we must act fully in accordance with the will of our electorate. We must also perhaps avoid making comparisons: your country borders Norway; I live near Switzerland. They are outside the European Union, but they live well all the same; they have the same problems, but they are no worse off than us, and here it is important to see and to demonstrate that it is worth having the European Union.
Multi-annual programme 2010-2014 regarding the area of freedom, security and justice (Stockholm Programme) (debate) 24 November 2009
Mario Borghezio, on behalf of the EFD Group
We need to create a single European legal system if we want to combat, at European level, crime that has become international and moves easily between banks, tax havens, financial markets and movable and fixed assets markets.
Farage is a bleedin idiot. First to come across as Mr Big . . . . and now with bluff called Farage looks like the priick many suspect he has always been.
Quite. At the end of July, following the mass murder of young Norwegians by Anders Behring Breivik, UKIP issued two statements regarding comments made by their MEPs’ EFD colleagues Mario Borghezio and Francesco Speroni. On 28 July, UKIP wrote: “Nigel Farage said:
“Nigel Farage said: “I have written to the leadership of the Northern League party to demand an immediate full retraction and apology. If my request is not met, then we will suspend our membership of the EFD group”.
A clear and unequivocal undertaking.
On 29 July, following Speroni’s reply, UKIP wrote:
“Mr Farage is convening the governing Bureau of the EFD Group in the European Parliament next week in order to suspend Mr Borghezio from his membership of the group”.
Another clear and unequivocal undertaking, yet if Borghezio had retracted and apologised as Farage demanded, why was he to be suspended? And if he had not retracted and apologised, Farage (having suspended UKIP MEPs from the group as stated on July 28), would not then be in a position to convene the Bureau and suspend Borghezio.
So where is the retraction and apology, and on what date and with what outcome was the Bureau convened?
Because despite UKIP’s statements and Nigel Farage’s assurance, UKIP MEPs are still sitting and voting in the European parliament with their EFD colleagues Speroni and Borghezio.
Huffing and puffing empty promises to shut critics up at home; treated with contempt by MEPs he ‘presides’ over in Brussels; and all the time, out of sight of UKIP members, European parliament business as usual.
How utterly despicable!
The Details on a Forum Near You (;-) The BBC attitude is rather predictable almost as predictable as yesterdays Daily Mail which was so clearly out of touch with ACTUAL news!!
~~~~~~~~~~#########~~~~~~~~~~
. Hi,
some thouights and an exchange of ideas on a Forum which I contribute to:
The UK Independence Party begins its annual conference on Friday, with leader Nigel Farage arguing that rival parties are hardening their stance towards the European Union.
He told the BBC that UKIP, which wants Britain to leave the EU, was making its cause more “mainstream” among Labour and Tory MPs via its campaigning.
The conference, taking place in Eastbourne, lasts until Saturday.
The ex-minister, who lost his seat in 1997 following the “cash-for-questions” scandal, announced last week that he was joining UKIP and is seeking election to its national executive.
A UKIP spokesman said Mr Hamilton’s actions were those of a “proper Conservative, who is concerned about his country’s relationship with the EU”.
Timo Soini, leader of the Eurosceptic True Finns Party, which gained 19% of the vote at Finland’s general election in April, will also address delegates.
the BBC published this earlier today when I read it I was sad to note that whilst EUkip were merely making noises they had achieved nothing – same old failed Tories, same old contrived publicity but the item of note was that whilst UKIP Leadership are pandering to The EU and helping The EU in any way that will stuff their pockets their membership heartily rejected on a 2 to 1 basis any concept of joining a PEPP and few seem happy to have pandered to The EU to accept the bribe of having their conference paid for by tax payers in return for supplying The EU with a platform – who cares how the Czechs, French, Fins, Latvians, Lithuanians and Luxembourgee wish to be governed that UKIP members must endure the speeches of obscure foreign speakers!
Meanwhile whilst UKIP Leadership have raised their sights a little from Nigel Farage’s testicles and Annabelle Fuller’s drunken antics it was good to see someone was actively pursuing a clear Leave-The-EU agenda.
All be it at the end of the article – I guess you could hardly expect The BBC with its massive soft loans from The EU and hugely propagandised pro EU output to give significance to an actual achievement rather than just a PR hand out but that said they did cover Nikki Sinclaire’s magnificent achievement and presentation of her Petition at Drowning Street of the initial 100,000 signatures for an IN/OUT referendum on membership of The EU:
Quote
Mr Farage, who is in his second stint as leader, stood down before the last general election in a failed bid to win a Westminster seat, but regained the job in last year’s leadership contest.
In May, one of the party’s Euro MPs, Marta Andreasen, called for him to quit for a second time, arguing he had “abjectly failed” to bring about a breakthrough in local elections in England.
The party dismissed this demand as “eccentric and naive”.
It comes as former UKIP MEP Nikki Sinclaire, who now sits as an independent after a bust-up with the party over its alliance with Italy’s Liga Nord party, hands in a 100,000 name petition to Downing Street calling on David Cameron to hold an “in or out” referendum on EU membership.
Ms Sinclaire, who was due to be accompanied by Labour MPs Kelvin Hopkins, Austin Mitchell and Kate Hoey, said “dozens” of the signatories were MPs, many of them Tories.
That only 30% of the population said they would vote to stay in the EU and 52% would vote to Leave-The-EU in the You Gov poll Nikki Sinclaire commissioned and paid for is a hugely significant achievement whilst UKIP leadership continue squabbling and posing to keep their snouts in the troughs on the gravy train with 18 years behind them and not ONE concrete achievement to Leave-The-EU to show for it!
Well done Sinclaire and her many supporters from all parties and none!
Regards, Greg_L-W.
Interestingly my informants have noted that Nikki Sinclaire MEP – although an Independent MEP has been seen with her Team in Eastborne this evening and they are staying in a hotel locally.
Although Mike Nattrass MEP and Trevor Colman MEP are no longer members of The EFD they will be present for the EFD section of the conference tomorrow and will no doubt be assisting Nikki Sinclaire who after enquiries I have discovered has been invited to have a table at the conference as an Independent to promote her very successful Cross Party Petition – gather although Jon Gaunt will be speaking to the subject of Petitions he did not have sufficient promotional material or achievement so far especially as the Plastic EUrosceptics acting as Judas Goats have rather stolen his clothes setting up a competition Pledge however both have effectively failed as was shown in Drowning Street yesterday!
Whilst EUkip squabbles and tries to cut deals to stay out of Court where after the guilty verdict already obtained by Sinclaire against Nigel Farage, Godfrey Bloom and UKIP it is certain she will win her case should UKIP not provide adequate support and recompense for their behaviour and lies about her. . .
David Cameron faces more pressure for an “in-out” referendum on Europe as a 100,000-name petition is delivered.
A cross-party delegation of MPs and MEPs is due to hand in sacks full of signatures at 10 Downing Street.
The number demanding a referendum is enough to trigger a parliamentary debate on the issue – potentially highly awkward for the Prime Minister. Mr Cameron again insisted that there was “no case” for a national poll on EU membership.
“I want us to be influential in Europe about the things that matter to our national interest – promoting the single market, pushing forward for growth, making sure we get lower energy prices,” he told MPs.
“Those are things we will be fighting for but I don’t see the case for an in out referendum on Europe.
“We are in Europe, we have got to make it work for us.”
Under a new e-petition scheme set up by the Government, any suggestion that receives more than 100,000 signatures online is passed to parliament’s backbench business committee so a debate can be organised.
However, Commons leader Sir George Young has apparently assured the Europe campaigners that traditional pen-and-ink versions will be treated the same.
Independent MEP Nikki Sinclaire is due to be accompanied by Labour MPs Kelvin Hopkins, Austin Mitchell and Kate Hoey to hand in the petition.
“This is an encouraging development and raises the prospect of an early debate on our continued membership of the EU,” she said.
Congratulations UKIP – 4th. Out of 4 National Parties!
Astonishingly local issue Party also rans The Greens managed an MP by clever strategy!
The vile BNP has imploded and the various other also rans are regional only!
UKIP Leadership Make Much of being 4th. out of 4 on the National stakes!!
.
~~~~~~~~~~#########~~~~~~~~~~
. Hi,
we were astonished that UKIP Leadership claque made so much of this poll though to be fair they were 4th. out of 4 National parties with their percentage up having, it seems, picked up support from the collapse of their closest rivals The BNP from UKIP style dishonesty, bullying and internal wrangling.
By clever strategy The Greens managed to get their party into Westminster, only a dream for UKIP leader Farage who stands at every opportunity,
The great sadness for UKIP members after 18 years is to read the agenda for The Conference this week and note that UKIP are unable to field a single solitary individual in the party of stature, gravitas and competent. 18 years and so staggeringly little progress – just glance down the list of personalities speaking not a single solitary individual with a mainstream profile unless you hinge the whole conference on Jon Gaunt!
Look with care at the list and much become apparent – EUkip have spent so much time navel gazing they have failed totally to build either a structure or a presence, they have even had to fossick around EU cronies to find SOMEONE to speak albeit unknowns to the public and utterly irrelevant to British Patriots who frankly couldn’t give a damn how Latvia, Lithuania and Luxembourg wish to be ruled or the governance of Finland, France and Greece wish to be financed and controlled – No more our business than Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran or Libya!
Astonishingly at a time when 52% of the electorate would vote to leave The EU, on a far more significant poll funded by Independent MEP Nikki Sinclaire, and only 30% would vote to stay in and listen to the Finns, Czechs, French and other foreigners on how they are goverened!
With over 66% of Tory voters who would vote to Leave-The-EU
UKIP gets its best ever poll result comming 4th. out of 4 National Parties with 7%
Could it be that UKIP has become a part of the problem and has surrendered its CLAIMED ambition to be part of the solution when you consider:
Before we continue I would ask you to consider:
Is it reasonable to state that any Political Body or Corporation that is so bereft of ability to show its achievements and worth that it despatches its agents and spokesment under cowardly cover of anonymity or irrelevance to lie, distort dissemble, bully and abuse as their only defence has most clearly lost the plot.
That its agents are shown repeatedly not for their achievements which seem insignificant but for their criminality, arrogance, dishonesty and corruption might they be considered to have lost the moral right to lead.
May it be accepted that unable to show any competence, ability or achievement of note and value in their appointed task yet setting out for self enrichment they seek to defend themselves in Court with other people’s money they are clearly without ethic or morality.
That they seek in default of truth to lie and defame and then default upon their bills to seek to harm those weaker than themselves might they be considerred to have lost all right to respect or support from informed and ethical individuals.
If you can say no to any of these questions then may I suggest EUkip is the party for you!
Labour Keeps Advantage Over Tories and Liberal Democrats in Britain
The approval rating for David Cameron remains stable, while both Nick Clegg and Ed Miliband lose points.
The Labour Party is holding on to the top spot in Britain’s political landscape, a new Angus Reid Public Opinion poll has found.
The online survey of a representative sample of 2,005 British adults also shows a drop in the approval rating for both Nick Clegg and Ed Miliband.
Voting Intention
Across Britain, 39 per cent of decided voters and leaners (-2 since July) say they would support the Labour candidate in their constituency in the next General Election.
The Conservative Party is second with 33 per cent (-1), followed by their coalition partners—the Liberal Democrats—with 11 per cent (+1).
The United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) is next with seven per cent, followed by the Scottish National Party (SNP) with five per cent, the Green Party with two per cent, and the British National Party (BNP) also with two per cent.
Labour is still clearly ahead of its rivals in the North (47%), holds a ten-point lead over the Conservatives in London (44% to 34%) and a four-point edge in Midlands and Wales (41% to 37%). The Tories are still first in the South of England (40% to 34%). In Scotland, the SNP now holds the support of practically half of decided voters (49%).
Approval
There has been no change in the performance rating for Prime Minister David Cameron since March, with two-in-five respondents (41%) saying they approve of the way he is handling his duties, and half of Britons (51%) saying they disapprove.
While one third of respondents (32%) approve of Ed Miliband’s performance as Leader of the Opposition, only one-in-four (26%) feel the same way about the way Nick Clegg is doing his job as Deputy Prime Minister.
Methodology: From September 1 to September 2, 2011, Angus Reid Public Opinion conducted an online survey among 2,005 randomly selected British adults who are Springboard UK panelists. The margin of error—which measures sampling variability—is +/- 2.2%. The results have been statistically weighted according to the most current education, age, gender and region data to ensure samples representative of the entire adult population of Great Britain. Discrepancies in or between totals are due to rounding.
Hi,
this discussion from one of the many Forums where I post material opposed to membership of The EU may interest you:
I agree.
However, even if people haven’t got computers we can’t hold progress up.
Computers are part of our lives and they won’t go away.
We must adapt to modern society or we will be left behind.
All kids at school are computer literate, with the rest of the population following fast.
Over 50s are one of the fastest groups that are jumping on the computer bandwagon.
We must embrace things like ePetition/ modern technology.
Hi,
woopy – subsequent to my last posting I have been sent a copy of a letter I have been awaiting for some days – AGAIN we have The Independent MEP Nikki Sinclaire to thank for this:
This means that her petition of over 100,000 signatures as announced and surprisingly widely published, in view of the fact her schedule was committed to announcement from Smith Square slap bang the day after the civil unrest when all the looters in suits were mumbling and squeeeeeling at the thought of competition from the proles.
This letter solves all problems as it can thus be an ‘e’petition on the .gov site AND a paper addition.
With Parliament resitting watch out for the presentation of the petition shortly and on a totally cross party basis.
I believe we all owe Nikki Sinclaire for her efforts – have you signed her petition? It can be signed on line OR on paper as the letter above shows – in fact her office is transposing all ePetition data onto paper and I gather an outside agency is erradicating duplicates and collating the data under strict data protection terms.
This letter now to hand I hear that Thursday will be likely to be the next ratchet turn 😉
Obviously the YouGov Poll was hugely significant and now the aim is to go on to yet more signatures to ensure no one tries to duck out on the Government benches when a Referendum becomes inevitable now, especially as well over 70% of Tory voters want a referendum on In/Out with regard to the EU, and embarrassingly the Judas Goats approved by the Tories as Plastic EUrosceptics with their other ‘PLEDGE’ Polls have rather lost control with, I gather, less than 50,000 signatures and I am given to understand some 30,000 of those are merely recycled and laundered Democracy Movement signatures though this is I concede hear say from the previous referendum that was given them!
Interestingly I gather on various technicalities The Express signatures are invalid as the poll was not carried out properly, or so I hear. However I doubt Mr. Despond will be giving praise to Nikki as we all know she is not a pornographers lap dog and seeks only relevant and serious publicity – hence her achievements.
She can in all fairness now say she has actually achieved, laterly with Mike Nattrass & Trevor Colman once they left Farage’s control and thus The EFD, they have achieved more in real terms than UKIP has done in all its 18 years of self enrichment and posturing for its leadership!
At least every single signature on Sinclaire’s Petition is genuine and her ad vans etc. have paid off – even if she is hoping for donations to help her fund them!!!
See her site CLICK HERE and sign up to the future 😉
So Very Little Changes In UKIP’s Navel Gazing! It is just a treadmill for enrichment of a small claque it seems! Well what EXACTLY has UKIP achieved in 18 years that has moved us one inch closer to Leave-The-EU?
. Hi,
as we run up to the UKIP conference it is sad to read the article about UKIP in NewEUrope OnLine dateline 05-September:
UKIP: Smears and signatures
Nikki Sinclaire MEP, who left the Europe of Freedom and Democracy over allegations of extremism and homophobia, has started a petition in the UK, asking for a referendum on EU membership. She believes that the UK is, in practice, neither in or out of the union and is dithering on the sidelines. Although she is a strong supporter of leaving the EU, she wants to have a genuine referendum, with both sides of the argument being able to make their case in a fair contest.
So far, she has collected over 10,000 signatures, 10% of her 100,000 target. This has put the UK Independence Party in a bit of a spot. They are hurrying out their own petition, so the Brits will at least get a choice of which petition to sign. To outsiders, it looks like the typical chaos surrounding the party. Sinclaire is visiting all the party conferences, starting with UKIP, who are meeting in Torquay, the home town of Basil Fawlty, where she will be holding a fringe event. Meanwhile, UKIP are holding elections for their National Executive, which has run into problems.
Godfrey Bloom MEP sent out a letter and sample ballot form to members, where he had considerately filled in the ‘right’ candidates for them. The night before Sinclaire’s fringe meeting about her petition, Tory blogger Iain Dale reported that, the newly formed NEC, “were told that former UKIP MEP Nikki Sinclaire MEP is currently under investigation by OLAF, the EU Anti-Fraud Unit, and the West Midlands Economic Crime Unit on allegations of misuse of European Parliamentary allowances.”
He added that the meeting had been presented with documentary evidence.
Impeccable timing!
A well placed source has told New Europe that OLAF is not investigating Sinclaire and West Midland Police have insisted to us that they have not initiated an investigation into the MEP.
as I said – so little changes and UKIP has spent a whole year with not an achievement to its name just more squabbling, a few more largely irrelevant councillors have defected in various directions, some old Tory hacks have tried to be noticed tottering around on Zimmer Frames and UKIP has tried to cover up its losses to the Tories.
In the year since the article was published Nikki Sinclaire has generated a great deal of good publicity whilst Farage’s ‘protege‘ Annabelle Fuller had considerable coverage for her drink fueled antics and stealing an MPs Blackberry and his House of Commons Pass.
The NEC has had its usual quota of knock down drag ’em out fights with the clearly out of control leadership and the liar Mick McGough has been given credibility by UKIP to show himself as a dishonest liar beyond his normal train trips and on You Tube where he gave a master class in how not to do politics he has added forums, the NEC and YouTube to his repetoire of dragging UKIP’s name into the gutter he inhabits but as ever he is not alone!
Then almost as predictably as day follows night an insider presents a dossiere of material, published over the years on my blogs and Junius producing it like a rabbit out of a hat with covering theories of their own to explain why they have finally, like some 100,000 before them, have lost confidence with UKIP and its endless navel gazing and failure to achieve anything of note as a party, much beyond the enrichment of its leadership claque!
Whilst on the subject of 100,000 Sinclaire has easily surpassed her target for the year presenting her figures to the media which they saw as so consequential together with the hugely valuable poll she commissioned and paid for that the story even broke the fog of war (well riots actually).
100,000+ is no mean achievement when you consider UKIP’s last petition raised 13,000 and lost the tax payer £1/4M – lost being the operative word!!
You will note her petition way outstrips the John Gaunt version which seemingly has ground to a halt with what is now a very out of date web site and also the Tory Party approved Plastic EUrosceptic poll which I gather is still trying to break 50,000 despite the support of Milliband, Bob Crow and others!
As for Mrs. Dale’s Diary revelations it would seem clear that he was set up with false information and used by malicious and malevolent factions in UKIP though I do understand that Derek Clark was found guilty of fraud but OLAF have not published their findings nor the details of the substantial amount he had to pay back as I gather the file has been passed to the British police but it is likely he will not be sent to prison if tried in view of his decrepitude.
I gather the OLAF enquiry into the fraud confessed to by Stuart Agnew has yet to be resolved as is the David Bannerman enquiry – though I gather Mike Nattrass seems to have dropped his legal complaints against The Sunday Times as their every word was true and interestingly although found guilty and having repaid monies fradulently obtained by Graham Booth his retirement to his UKIP earned pension seems not to have been matched with any generosity of spirit beyond the £Millions he has accrued and boasts of an Aston Martin!
Still a year on Farage is trying to dupe the party deeper into The EU as ever permitting the EU to dictate the agenda in return for them paying for the conference – frankly who in UKIP cares what Finland’s or any continental Country’s opinion of The EU is.
UKIP’s remit is to Leave-The-EU not to enrich a small claque and pose around doing The EU’s bidding in return for its bribes – which is why the membership voted 2 to 1 against helping The EU gain credibility in return for bribes with PEPP membership.
Clearly the membership of UKIP have made it VERY clear they are disgusted with the Pan EU Party EFD Group and its vile extremists lessons and clearly they just don’t care howmuch Farage will personally lose if UKIP does not join a PEPP. That said it is still on the cards Farage may be self serving and unscrupulous enough to try a re-run of the 2000 conference with an emulation of Michael Holmes’ back me or sack me – at least this time we will be spared the dullard comic antics of Booths’ skit on the stupidity of Devonians – though one can hardly put a similar version as a temper tantrum from First Legge!!
Having stalled since January to try to avoid what would inevitably be another High Court defeat at the hands of Sinclaire will we see much pretence of sweetness and light till the day after the conference ends.
Remember the year Tom Wise was exposed as a criminal by The Sunday Telegraph, the duplicitous behaviour of UKIP leadership making promises to Petrina Holdsworth they were proven they had no intention of keeping leading to her resignation after the dishonest attempts to keep her on board for the conference.
It really is astonishing just how little would need to be changed in the 2010 article above to suit todays scenario in UKIP!! ..
Praise Indeed Tory Diehard Roger HELMER MEP Features Nikki SINCLAIRE Independent MEP & her You Gov Poll!
Amusingly he makes much of factions within UKIP and then goes on to show what an irrelevancy The Tories are claiming himself to be in one of the factions!
Hi,
I thought it might be a change to quote from Roger Helmer’s blog:
A new YouGov poll shows a clear majority of voters in favour of leaving the EU: 52% want to leave, against only 30% who want to stay in. Amongst Conservative voters, that ratio rises to 66 against 22 — a three-to-one majority.
The poll was commissioned by Nikki Sinclaire, a former UKIP MEP, now independent (and thus a standing monument to UKIP’s factionalism, which has seen several resignations from their MEP ranks).
Ms. Sinclaire may well have her own axe to grind — indeed she certainly does.
But nonetheless the poll was conducted by YouGov, no doubt with their usual impeccable professionalism, so I think we have to accept the result.
The poll also shows that 60% of the public (74% of Conservative voters) want an In/Out EU referendum, while only 25% (19% of Tories) don’t.
I put it to David Cameron some time ago that the great majority of Conservatives disagreed with his view that British membership of the EU was in our national interest, and that perhaps he as Party Leader ought to take this into account.
His reply was uncompromising: he didn’t want an In/Out referendum, because (again) he believed membership was in our national interest.
But you don’t have referenda merely to confirm your prejudices. You have referenda to give the people their chance to have a say. There’s something uncomfortably paternalistic in saying, in effect “I won’t let you have your say on this question, because you disagree with my settled opinion, and I happen to know that I’m right and you’re wrong”.
silly fellow – we shoot, bomb, maim and kill people in sovereign foreign Nations to force such a concept upon them.
The are obliged to accept OUR definition of a democracy down the barrel of a gun or be killed. Britain on the otherhand is denied such a concept as it would overturn the corruption that is managed and controlled by the self serving politicians and their parasites.
Roger, given Cameron’s response, what have you actually done about it? If nothing so far, what are you actually going to do about it?
This blog post appears to be nothing more than another ‘tick in the box’, the latest in a long line of gestures that do nothing other than convince your supporters you are ‘sound’ on the EU subject. More people are beginning to ask, to coin a phrase, where’s the beef?
You like to highlight and explain things, so why not post a piece on here explaining to your supporters why you are comfortable with Conservative MPs who claim to be opposed to our EU membership voting in favour of integrationist measures in the House?
Are they just a faction, or are all Tories completely untrustworthy and impotent when it comes to doing what the people they represent want them to do?
I’m somewhat taken aback by what comes across as a very aggressive attitude towards Roger.
You are referring to Roger supporting Chris Heaton-Harris and his initiative to promote an anti-EU group amongst tory MPs. You shot from the hip then without bothering to check your facts – are you now embarrassed by your journalistic failure and doing whatever you can to paper over the cracks?
I have in the past had respect for your blog – but I’m losing that, fast.
What exactly do you suppose Roger can do? It’s a matter of record that Roger has lost the whip in the past for his stance. He is a conscience politician who is not afraid to speak it like it is. But he’s not superman!
What should be obvious to you right now is that Cameron and Osborne do not listen to anybody so why moan at Roger because he hasn’t persuaded them to change their mind? What can he do that you can’t? Why haven’t you as an influential political blogger forced Cameron into an EU referendum? Where, Autonomous Mind, is your beef?
I was about to reply, but Tony Egghead did already! You ask why I didn’t post a blog about the position of Tory MPs — but of course I did. Perhaps you didn’t read it? Se “True Believers”. Comment by Roger Helmer MEP August 31, 2011 @ 4:01 pm
How come politicians in government never seem to feel the breeze of public opinion wafting around their heads? I am fascinated by the fact that oft times, said public opinion when as forceful as this, turns out to be right. Let’s face it, is it likely that so many people could be wrong? It only takes someone to formulate and present a plan for the safe and economically acceptable withdrawal of England (the UK?) from the EU and there would be even fewer dissenters to the idea of a referendum on the subject and fewer people who want to be European.
Comment by Heather Alibakir August 31, 2011 @ 9:14 pm
I wonder howmany remember the ‘trustees’ in Auschwitz – as Jews aiding their captors they survived for as long as they willingly filled and emptied the the ‘showers’ and the incinerators. Perhaps they were hoping that the SS would have a change of heart in 40 or so years time!
It is now over 40 years since we first heard the mantra that ‘we mustn’t startle the horses’ and ‘we can change the party’.
I wonder how many others see something of a similarity!
The Tories even came up with the ludicrous slogan: ‘In EUrope but not ruled by Europe’. I expect many of the ‘trustees’ had their cantors chanting: ‘In the gas chamber but not breathing’, for them!
Perhaps Helmer would care to tell us all EXACTLY what he has achieved in his 12 years as a Judas Goat.
We are all well aware of the very generous bribes and expenses he has received for doing his JOB in those 12 years.
Clearly he has utterly failed to convince EUroRealists, he has duped very few Eurosceptics and it is self evident that he and his cronies have achieved absolutely nothing to Leave-The-EU.
Unable to convince their own side it is hardly surprising they have failed to convince anyone else! It is our own politicos and their hirelings and parasites in the Kleptocratic QUANGOcracy who are the Looters and OUR-ENEMY-WITHIN
Positive DISCRIMINATION – Deliberately Creates Victims claims Nikki SINCLAIRE! Do NOT create victims, rather solve the problems!
Hi,
another sound offering well backed up with detailed figures and an independent third party Poll by You Gov commissioned by Nikki Sinclaire in representation of the wishes of the British electorate and her constituents.
The speech is clearly impromtue though scheduled – sadly in all the years of UKIP there has never been a competent training programme so the public speaking ability is confined to those with a natural ability.
One has to ask if this was deliberate, on the part of Nigel Farage, to ensure that despite his embarrassing lack of OQ and total lack of leadership skills he dared not train good people in the organisation with the aim to make them excellent as they might seem a challenge.
Thus Nigel Farage outshone those around him.
Did he ensure mediocrity and incompetence, corruption and dishonesty, amongst his leadership team?
The corruption and dishonesty of the likes of Stuart Agnew, Tom Wise, Gerard Batten, Mick McGough, David Bannerman, Marta Andreasen, Douglas Denny, David Lott, Jim Carver, Andrew Smith, Clive Page, Mark Croucher, Peter Reeve, Gawain Towler, George Curtis and the like, together with their naked ambition, being the hold he had over them and thereby the control.
In dishonestly being forced out of UKIP by Nigel Farage and his muppets it does seem that Nikki Sinclaire has very clearly benefitted as have her constituents and in the light of the professionalism and hard work she clearly brings to her work she has indeed made UKIP look embarrassingly lack luster as they endlessly navel gaze and squabble for lack of professionalism and sound leadership.
Let us not forget the huge achievement of Nikki Sinclaire in achieving 100,000 signatures despite the efforts of UKIP to undermine and challenge her Petition for a Referendum – the best UKIP ever achieved was around 14,000 signatures in a tax payer funded scam run on a half baked and incompetent campaign where over £1/4Million of public money was seemingly stolen, as David Lott, Nigel Farage and Mark Croucher who were running the scam were unable to account for either the money or the signatures!
Whether coincidence or not we may never know but subsequently Nigel Farage banked around £200,000+ in an off shore bank account styled ‘Farage Educational Trust’ or some such, David Lott purchased a substantial property on Romsey Marshes on route to France I gather and Mark Croucher having endlessly pleaded poverty purchased the rights of two public houses which he subsequently bankrupted or went bust on presumable due to either due to his proven natural dishonesty or his inate incompetence. .
To quote Nikki Sinclaire who commissioned and paid for the poll:
I commissioned the poll to understand public opinion towards positive discrimination. It is my opinion that positive discrimination creates victims and that it is essential for society to avoid all types of discrimination as it is morally wrong.
The European Union is seeking to adopt measures including quotas to provide specific advantages in favour of the under-represented sex.
86% said that it was unacceptable for a person to receive preferential treatment in order to get a job based on gender with women (89%) more likely to say it is unacceptable than men (84%)
These results are not a surprise to me and show once again that the European Union is out of step with the wishes of the ordinary person in the street. – I and, seemingly many women, find positive discrimination patronising
I believe passionately in equality of treatment and opportunity for all but true equality will come when people are promoted because of ability and commitment not because of EU led social engineering.
Perhaps you would care to write to YOUR MP & MEPs!
. Hi,
here is an interesting message regarding the You Gov Poll commissioned by The Independent MEP Nikki Sinclaire whilst the rest of the MEPs were on holiday and as she presented her Petition for an In/Out EU Referendum having obtained over 100,000 signatures.
Signatures obtained despite the fact of the many Judas Goats urinating on the bushes to try to mark out a territory and save themselves the embarrassment of being shown for indolent self serving, smug, arrogant parasites gorging themselves at the expense of their country with their paid newspaper columns, funded lecture tours and other scams for self enrichment.
I gather the You Gov Poll has been sent to every single Tory MEP who are quite clearly self serving arrogant fools.
NOT ONE was democratically elected they were merely the only choice offered in a corrupt list system.
The message I gave to all Tory MEPs Date: Tue, 30 Aug 2011 19:40:41 +0200 From: nikki.sinclaire@europarl.europa.eu To: charles.tannock@europarl.europa.eu; syed.kamall@europarl.europa.eu; marina.yannakoudakis@europarl.europa.eu; martin.callanan@europarl.europa.eu; robert.atkins@europarl.europa.eu; sajjad.karim@europarl.europa.eu; jacqueline.foster@europarl.europa.eu; timothy.kirkhope@europarl.europa.eu; roger.helmer@europarl.europa.eu; emma.mcclarkin@europarl.europa.eu; philip.bradbourn@europarl.europa.eu; malcolm.harbour@europarl.europa.eu; geoffrey.vanorden@europarl.europa.eu; robert.sturdy@europarl.europa.eu; vicky.ford@europarl.europa.eu; david.campbellbannerman@europarl.europa.eu; daniel.hannan@europarl.europa.eu; richardjames.ashworth@europarl.europa.eu; nirj.deva@europarl.europa.eu; james.elles@europarl.europa.eu; giles.chichester@europarl.europa.eu; julie.girling@europarl.europa.eu; ashley.fox@europarl.europa.eu; kay.swinburne@europarl.europa.eu; struan.stevenson@europarl.europa.eu; james.nicholson@europarl.europa.eu
Dear Colleagues,
I trust you had a good summer break.
You may have missed a YouGov poll that I commissioned a few weeks ago that showed for the first time a clear majority of the UK population (52%) wish to leave the EU with only 30% who would vote to stay in.
The question was independently set by YouGov. Please find attached the YouGov report.
As you embark on your parliamentary work you might wish to consider: The breakdown from Conservative voters. 74% want a referendum and 66% would vote to leave the EU.
Regards Nikki Sinclaire MEP
I trust this is of help to readers in the couse of identifying The Judas Goats that betray us in The Tory Party – OUR-ENEMY-WITHIN.
We still await the exact details of achievement towards LEAVING The EU that Roger Helmer claims for all his huff and puff and arrogant, smug self satisfaction.
EXACTLY what has YOUR Total failure cost the tax payers in bribes/salary and expenses for we seem no closer to the exit than when you first opened your EUI accounts and having failed to deliver honestly or competently started to stuff your accounts obtained under false pretences just like your chums elected to Leave-The-EU and minded 66% of ALL Tory voters wish to Leave-The-EU.
It does seem Helmer that you are just another oleaginous and duplicitous Judas Goat.
Indeed as YOU stated:
>>”Seems I just can’t win — except in elections.“<<
May I remind you Helmer YOU did not win an election – Your Party did, you are just a cypher.
Do also be minded that 66% of those votes wish to Leave-The-EU in what way would you claim your party/vehicle has acquitted its duty to the electorate?
Is it any wonder that the society has little but contempt for those looters like yourself and other parasitic fat cats drawing down huge amounts of money in return for their abject failure and thus betrayal.
Regards, Greg_L-W.
IF YOU wish to support the concept of Leave-The-EU
