euroeséptica Nikki Sinclaire, “whose sole purpose is to devalue the prestige of European policy in general and the European Parliament in particular.”
Good to see The EU are getting the message that UKIP MEPs were elected to publicise even if UKIP threw Nikki out because she refused to collude in supporting racism and anti Judaism in The EFD!
Every little helps to build the EUroSceptic case for Britain leaving The EU and to date the only foreign trip has been as part of a peace keeping mission to Tunisia – it is because of being free of the vile EFD that Sinclaire is being taken seriously as she is no longer involved in The EFD corruption, self enrichment, anti Judaism and violent anti homosexuality and racism!
I’m losing track of the number of articles in the British press, helped by Professional PR and a sound political insight – a huge amount of hard work! All this foreign media ‘pick up’ is a huge help as British journalists do check out the foreign press.
EFE / STRASBOURG (FRANCE) Eider Gardiazabal Socialist MEP has defended Wednesday the allegations in the newspaper ‘News of the World’, according to which he claimed the EP diets inappropriately and explained to Efe that no is “robbery”, but something completely “legal.”
El diario sensacionalista y euroescéptico británico ha acusado a Gardiazabal y otros eurodiputados de cobrar las dietas correspondientes a la jornada del viernes, cuando en realidad ese día no trabajan. The British eurosceptic tabloid and has accused other MEPs Gardiazabal and accept payment for the day Friday, when that day actually working.
El medio recoge fotografías de los eurodiputados fichando en la sede del Parlamento y desplazándose al aeropuerto oa la estación de tren, poco después. The medium includes photographs of clocking MEPs in the Parliament building and moving to the airport or train station shortly after.
Según Gardiazabal, la mañana en la que la fotografiaron tenía una reunión en Bilbao, por lo que se marchó temprano para llegar a tiempo. According Gardiazabal the morning when the photograph was a meeting in Bilbao, so he left early to arrive on time.
La eurodiputada ha explicado a Efe que el reglamento de los eurodiputados permite cobrar las dietas del viernes si el trabajo de la jornada del jueves (cuando termina la semana en Bruselas) se prolonga hasta tarde. The MEP has told Efe that the regulation of MEPs can accept payment on Friday if the work of the day on Thursday (when you finish the week in Brussels) continues until late.
“Es algo totalmente generalizado”, ha afirmado la eurodiputada, quien ha señalado que numerosos eurodiputados de todo el espectro político le han hecho llegar su solidaridad por la noticia. “This is completely general,” said the MEP, who pointed out that many MEPs from across the political spectrum have extended its solidarity with the news.
“Es muy fácil difamar y luego cuesta mucho restablecer la verdad”, ha destacado Gardiazabal, que se ha quejado de los correos electrónicos insultantes que ha recibido, después de que el diario El Mundo se hiciera eco de la noticia publicada el 13 de febrero por ‘News of the World’. “It’s very easy to slander and then very difficult to establish the truth,” he stressed Gardiazabal, who has complained of abusive emails he has received, after the newspaper El Mundo echoed the news published on February 13 by News of the World ‘.
Gardiazabal ha destacado que el “topo” de la noticia es la eurodiputada conservadora británica y euroeséptica Nikki Sinclaire, “cuyo único objetivo es devaluar el prestigio de la política europea en general y de la Eurocámara en particular”. Gardiazabal stressed that the “mole” of the news is the British Conservative MEP and euroeséptica Nikki Sinclaire, “whose sole purpose is to devalue the prestige of European policy in general and the European Parliament in particular.”
“Quiero dejar claro que ni yo ni nadie ha robado”, ha afirmado la eurodiputada, quien asegura que esta información sólo sirve para “engordar el mensaje que los políticos no hacen nada y se enriquecen a costa de los ciudadanos”, cuando “la realidad es que nuestras jornadas en el Parlamento empiezan a las ocho de la mañana y terminan a las nueve de la noche habitualmente”. “I want to make clear that neither I nor anyone else has won,” said the MEP, who says that this information only serves to “fatten the message that politicians do nothing and get rich at the expense of citizens” when “reality is that our days in Parliament begins at eight o’clock and finish at nine p.m. usually. “
“En el PE estamos muy controlados, justificamos cada reunión a la que hemos asistido y cada billete de avión”, ha añadido. “In PE we are controlled, justify every meeting I have attended and each ticket,” he added.
Gardiazabal (Bilbao, 1975) participa en las comisiones parlamentarias de presupuestos, perspectivas financieras y medio ambiente. Gardiazabal (Bilbao, 1975) participates in the parliamentary committees of budgets, financial and environmental perspectives.

Hi,
Yet more exposure of the corruption and hypocracy of The EU brought to the attention of The British public in a major national paper.
Congratulations to Independent UKIP MEP Nikki Sinclaire on yet another exposure, yet again she is liberated to do the job she was elected to do unfettered by the corruption of membership of The EFD Group that brings such shame on members of UKIP and represents no part of British values.
Ipresume to maintain his income the leader of The Pan EU Political EFD Group will be seeking desperately to try to find new members having dropped below the required numbers for a Pan EU Group, which will have to be made up by trying to bribe Mike Nattrass or Nikki Sinclaire to rejoin or to seek out some extremist like Jorge Haider’s old party or even perhaps Marine LePen’s extremist group.
The body scanners, bought in 2005 at a cost of £100,000 each, are “rotting” in the basement of the building in Brussels and have never been used. When the scanners, which create an image of a person’s nude body, were eventually delivered to the Parliament in the autumn of 2005 MEPs objected to them being used in the building on privacy grounds.Nikki Sinclair, a British independent MEP, said the Parliament tried to sell the machines but failed to do so.They are now so old that they are considered to be technically out of date and may be scrapped altogether.“These machines have been left to rot on pallets in a disused garage in the depths of the parliament building,” she said. “They were ordered in haste and now the Parliament doesn’t know what to do with them.
“This is another example of the waste and mismanagement in the European Union, indeed, taxpayer subsidised bureaucracy. This is only a small portion of the £50 million a day the UK gives the EU but it is endemic of how the EU is fundamentally flawed. It beggars belief that these unelected bureaucrats purchased the most expensive machines available at the time. They seem impervious to economic realities.”MEPs led the campaign to stop the use of the scanners in the Parliament yet they are in use in 70 airports across Europe, including Manchester and London Heathrow.Security in the Parliament is currently a cause for concern following three robberies in a many years and after a French journalist recently managed to smuggle in a toy gun and stand yards away from Prince Charles on his recent visit.Access to the building is currently controlled by airport-style X-ray machines although there have been calls for improved security measures.A Parliament spokesman said, “We do not comment on security issues.”

Hi,
yes I am a dedicated fan of Nikki Sinclaire – she is doing what UKIP MEPs were elected to do – highlight and expose corruption, incompetence and outright hypocracy in The EU and bring it to the attention of the peoples of Britain, whilst trying her best to acquit her duties to her constituents and her Country, as best she could.
Unlike the rest of The UKIP MEPs she has opted to disassociate herself from the racist, anti Jewish and violently anti homosexual scum of EU politics which to the shame of Britain and UKIP in particular are led by Nigel Farage MEP.
Nigel has been a great asset but he has completely blown his value to UKIP unless they want to be represented in the gutter by the likes of Gerard Batten MEP with his crass Islamaphobia and lack of understanding of morality and justice or the duplicitous fraud Derek Clark who lies and rants whilst betraying Britain whilst trashing his region to oblige The EU having lost 90% of the hard earned members with his utter duplicity and treachery, his lies and bullying.
Then we have the scum of the earth sheltering in anonymity trying to make much of sefaming me because of my spelling and grammar like an elderly failed primary teacher (could Skeptyk number Derek Clark MEP in their team of trash?). I am in fact VERY proud that to date I have not published a single false fact nor any misrepresentation on all of the 1,000s of blogs and ‘e’Mails I have written and the sad parasites in UKIP are so frenzied they now castigate me for my spelling and grammar – the childish playground chants of pony tail do make them look VERY silly.
We even have one piece of filth on UKIP NEC – Mick McGOUGH, aware that I have bladder cancer etc. trying to point score that I am therefore impotent and thus showing both his ignorance medically and his obsessions personally. Bladder cancer CAN kill you and often does but I am unaware that it makes one impotent! However since I don’t think with that part of my anatomy I would not get that concerned if I was impotent, though I can understand his concern in his case!
Back to Nikki, about whom he seems not to have fantasised quite as much as some of the rest of the slime that are UKIP Leadership and their parasites – nor to lie as they clearly have.
The amount of publicity that Sinclaire has obtained for EUroRealism both in Britain and abroad has been quite incredible considering she has had every low life and a quite risible UKIP PR Agency trying to sabotage and attack her.
On the subject of PR agencies I gather Ms. Annabelle Fuller for all her amateur and tasteless flouncing around at The UKIP Relaunch attempt in Scarborough which attracted almost ZERO professional PR or widespread coverage of any caliber – I gather the altercation in the hotel corridor one late night where she was told in no uncertain terms of the caliber of her morality by someone who clearly outweighed and out classed her! Leaving her to scurry chasened to her own room, I am told by two VERY separate sources, neither of whom do I believe is seeking to set me up as they have proved genuine in the past – I can give no greater assurances as I was NOT personally a witness.
To quote an American maxim ‘Nigel Farage would be well advised to stop porking the staff at company expense, when clearly he can not cope with one woman and has to pay his wife for her services with tax payers’ money!’
Here is just one of Nikki Sinclaire’s articles and I must admit I was surprised it was published in the LIGHT of the tragic and globally scarey events in Japan.
He is the man behind the European Union’s ban on the traditional lightbulb that has caused anger and confusion in the UK’s shops and households. But it appears that for Latvian Andris Piebalgs energy saving doesn’t start at home. For Mr Piebalgs, the former European Commissioner for Energy, has left the outside lights burning day and night on his £1.25 million luxury home despite neighbours claiming he has not been seen there for weeks.
The lights are on but no body is home: Neighbours say no one has been living at Mr Piebalg’s 1.25million home near Riga for several weeksNow former communist Mr Piebalgs has been accused of double standards. In 2005 he told this newspaper in an interview that ‘we can all do our bit’ to save electricity.Nikki Sinclaire, the independent MEP for the West Midlands, said: ‘This is a classic example of hypocrisy. Here you have someone championing environment law and then disregarding it himself.’
Watt a waster: Lights blaze away outside the home of Mr Piebalgs who is understood to have been several thousand miles away
Bulb: Mr Piebalgs modern lightbulb shines brightlyMr Piebalgs, 53, earned £1.4 million in salary and perks as the EU Energy Commissioner during his six-year tenure in the job which ended last year as he became EU Development Commissioner.A Mail on Sunday survey has revealed UK shoppers are bewildered by the vast array of replacement low-energy bulbs of different shapes and sizes, power and prices as a result of Mr Piebalgs’s diktat. The problems for consumers include many of the low-energy alternatives being far too large to fit into a traditional reading lamp. And toxic mercury contained in the most common version means councils will not pick them up from the doorstep because of their concerns over the health risk to binmen.Mr Piebalgs’s modern home is a short distance from the capital Riga in a pleasant village which was a former Soviet summer playground and is now the preserve of Latvia’s wealthy set.Two hours before dusk yesterday, six lamps were alight on the external walls of the property. One neighbour said: ‘The half- dozen or so external lights are on day and night.’Another said: ‘There hasn’t been anyone living there for several weeks.’According to Mr Piebalgs’s official diary, he has spent the past two weeks 7,000 miles away from his home approving future EU development programmes in the Pacific Islands of New Caledonia, Vanuatu and East Timor.
Light fantastic: Mr Piebalgs campaigned for a ban on traditional lightbulbs that caused anger and confusion in the UKHe was scheduled to return from the trip last Friday. On his official European Commission CV Mr Piebalgs does not mention his Communist Party membership. At the time he may well have seen it as advantageous to advance his career as a head teacher and education administrator when Latvia was under the Soviet yoke.Accounts vary over how long he belonged to a party now seen as the main vehicle of oppression of the Baltic country, but one local source said it was ‘at least six years’ in the Eighties. But his Red past did not stop his career flourishing in the post-Soviet era when he went from being education and finance minister to an eventual senior post in the Riga Foreign Ministry. He then took a job as a senior bureaucrat in Brussels before becoming Energy Commissioner in 2004 after his tiny state joined the EU.He was not Latvia’s first choice and his emergence was greeted by some with disapproval.Even Latvians are angered by his ban on the traditional bulbs, which will not be on sale from next year. The manager of one electrical shop said the old-fashioned 60W bulb had sold out in Latvia because of frustrations with the new bulbs. The supply and importation of pearl bulbs used in the UK was banned two years ago.
A spokesman for Mr Piebalgs declined to comment. However, it is understood the lights are a security measure.

SCANDAL OF EU MEDICAL PERKS
Monday March 7 2011
by Martyn Brown Political CorrespondentGRASPING Euro MPs squander millions of pounds of British taxpayers’ money every year on cosmetic perks including anti- ageing therapy and facial hair removal, it emerged last night. In yet another scandalous example of the European gravy train, MEPs can also have IVF treatments. They can stay at thermal health spas, have breast reductions and buy slimming products and Viagra pills. All are funded by the public as part of their controversial medical cover. This year’s £3million budget for Euro MPs’ medical expenses also covers alternative therapies like lymphatic drainage, a delicate massage that helps the body eliminate toxins. The taxpayer funds at least two-thirds of the cost of all treatments, and many are 100 per cent covered.Details of the appalling waste on personal vanity indicates the juggernaut of EU excess shows no signs of slowing and comes as Britons brace themselves for a year of soaring food and fuel bills, wage freezes and cuts in council services. And it is certain to add to the momentum behind the Daily Express’s crusade for the UK to withdraw from the European Union.
Personal perks like these should not be state-funded and barmy EU spending has to stop hitting UK taxpayers in the pocket![]()
Charlotte Linacre
Critics reacted with fury last night at the waste of public money. Charlotte Linacre, of the TaxPayers’ Alliance, said: “Spa treatments and expensive medical procedures are out of reach for many British taxpayers, so it’s an insult to hear MEPs get these generous freebies.“Personal perks like these should not be state-funded and barmy EU spending has to stop hitting UK taxpayers in the pocket.”An MEP and staff cost an average of £370,000, made up of salaries, gold-plated pensions and expenses. Stephen Booth, of the think tank Open Europe, said: “MEPs are paid very generously by anyone’s standards so there’s absolutely no justification for all the extra perks.”Details of the expenses are revealed in a leaked copy of the Practical Guide to the Reimbursement of Medical Expenses.
It shows MEPs are reimbursed not only for conventional treatments for conditions like cancer, diabetes and emergencies such as fractures, but also elective treatments. The generosity for “cosmetic” treatments has led to claims it is a perk rather than essential. Other courses on offer to MEPs include extended IVF treatments and drug rehabilitation. Male MEPs and the husbands of female MEPs can also claim for private treatment to resolve problems with impotence. Viagra is available if the condition stems from serious illness. The budget this year for MEPs’ sickness and accident insurance represents a 36 per cent increase on the £2.2million in 2009.
Nikki Sinclaire, independent MEP for the West Midlands, said:
“The system in Europe remains ripe for abuse and that needs to go.”
The guide also reveals MEPs and their families can stay up to 21 days at thermal health spas.

Medical cover for Euro MPs and their families lets them claim for ‘cosmetic’ treatments – and costs the taxpayer £3m a year
![]()
MEPs can claim for Viagra, alternative therapies and anti-ageing treatments (PA)MEPs and their families can have “cosmetic” treatments — including breast reductions, slimming products and facial hair removal — paid for by the taxpayer in a medical expenses regime described by critics as “ripe for abuse”.This year’s £2.9m budget for Euro MPs’ medical expenses covers anti-ageing treatments and alternative therapies including lymphatic drainage, a delicate massage that helps the body eliminate toxins. The scheme also allows breaks at health spas. The taxpayer funds at least two thirds of the cost of all treatments, and many are 100% covered. The details are revealed in a leaked copy of the Practical Guide to the Reimbursement of Medical Expenses. It shows MEPs are reimbursed not only for conventional medical treatments for conditions such as cancer, diabetes and emergencies such as fractures, but also elective treatments. The generosity of the system for “cosmetic” treatments has led to claims that it is a perk rather than essential for protecting MEPs’ health.By contrast there is no private health insurance scheme for MPs, although some have successfully claimed for treatment on expenses. They can call on a parliamentary nurse and are referred to an NHS surgery in Westminster.Other aspects of the health package on offer to MEPs are conspicuously generous. In Britain, few hospitals give more than three rounds of IVF funded by the NHS, with many allowing only one cycle. In Brussels, however, MEPs and their families are entitled to have up to five cycles paid for.Other treatments include drug rehabilitation and the prescription of narcotics as part of treating withdrawal symptoms.
The husbands and sons of female MEPs can also claim for private treatment to resolve problems with impotence. Viagra is available if the condition can be shown to stem from serious illness. The budget this year for MEPs’ sickness and accident insurance represents a 36% increase on the £2.2m that was spent on medical bills in 2009.Nikki Sinclaire, independent MEP for the West Midlands, said: “This is a huge amount of money and every penny comes from the taxpayer.
“Most families are tightening their belts, and many people are concerned for their financial futures. But the allowances in Brussels keep going up and up. It’s yet more taxpayers’ money you don’t hear about.“The system in Europe remains ripe for abuse and that needs to go.”The leaked guide also reveals that MEPs and their families can have stays of up to 21 days at thermal health spas.“Thermal cures equal a stay of between 10 and 21 days at a specialist establishment providing treatment under medical supervision,” the guide says. Use is limited to one cure a year, up to a maximum of eight in a lifetime.MEPs are eligible to visit spas if they suffer from rheumatism, digestive problems, skin disorders and gynaecological disorders.Unlike officials in the European commission, who have to make contributions to their medical scheme, MEPs are entitled to the benefits without having to put any money in. The scheme has been agreed by European governments, including Britain’s.
The European parliament said the expenses were justified because MEPs spent most of the working week outside their country so could not benefit from health services at home. The rules say treatments cannot be funded if they are purely for cosmetic purposes and must have a medical justification.

The EU was thus saved from the embarrassment of a Double Page Spread in a Sunday Paper read by 7 Million Readers!
.
Whistleblower
Author: Nikki Sinclaire MEP
27 February 2011 – Issue : 924
I recently agreed to collaborate with the British press on an exposé of the widespread abuse of MEPs allowances, in particular the daily subsistence allowance. As a result, numerous deputies from across the EU were caught out, signing in as early as 7:18am, and then leaving the building. The rules are quite clear: an MEP may claim his or her daily subsistence allowance when attending official meetings of parliamentary bodies. There are no such meetings in Strasbourg on the Friday of a plenary week, nor are there any at seven o’clock on a Friday morning in Brussels: on average, 60 – 70 MEPs sign in on a Friday for an allowance over and above their salaries that equates to £262 per day – more than many of their constituents earn in a week.
The amazing thing is that these exposés seem to be becoming a regular occurrence, and yet MEPs are not getting the message.
In 2005, Austrian MEP Hans Peter Martin who lifted the lid on the issue in 2004 when he filmed MEPs signing for their allowances at irregular hours subsequently stated that “These rules are the scandal that has to be changed – they were set up by the MEPs themselves”. Another senior MEP, who shares my concerns, during a discussion on the matter, recently told me with an ironic smile that “this is the Parliament that never knows cuts”.
I followed up the investigation by tabling a written declaration calling for an end to the practice of signing in on Fridays during plenary weeks. This initiative was quickly blocked on the instructions of the cabinet of the President’s office.
And so it seems that whilst citizens are reeling under the effects of the economic crisis, the parliament will close ranks and continue to shamelessly protect its perks.
Why have I chosen now to speak out about this problem? We are living through a historic moment, probably as important to all our futures as the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. Corrupt and undemocratic Arab regimes are falling like dominoes, and as I write this Libyan people are fighting and dying for their dreams of freedom and democracy, and for the futures of their children. These martyrs humble us, and deserve our admiration. A wave of euphoria is sweeping through North Africa, and the people are finally deposing the crooks and the tyrants. Just one year ago we could never have imagined the events that would unfold, and the message that the Tunisians, Egyptians, Libyans, and others who are fed up with the economic corruption of their political elites, are sending out should not be lost on the politicians to their North.
It is no secret that public disquiet with the EU is growing. In the UK, the majority of people actually want to abandon the project and leave the union, and the clamour for a referendum on the matter is growing by the day.
If we, as elected politicians, continue to see the public purse as a resource to be exploited whilst those who provide the money lose their jobs and their homes, what can we expect? The scenes in Greece recently, as citizens protested at austerity measures, were disturbing, and as the petrol bombs flew and the police batons came crashing down on the protesters, they were heartbreaking to see.
Society is a fragile thing, and as the Politburo learned in 1989, and as the dictators in North Africa are learning now, the people no longer have the need to endure corrupt regimes.
