Hi,

it is interesting to note that Marta Andreasen has, after her withering attack on the leadership of UKIP by its so called leader, issued an apology.

It would seem that in the light of crass and irresponsible comments made by Nigel Farage in his attempts to lead the Party she claims to have merely quoted him.

You will note this blog. made a point of stating her use of language was a ‘hostage to fortune’.

May I also point out that her blog as that of a public servant does NOT post comments if they are not favourable to her chosen position and personal career interests.

Unlike this blog which is no more than a series of statements of fact and unashamedly my opinions on the facts presented as a private unfunded individual seeking to clean-up UKIP to make it fit for purpose as our lifeboat and a vehicle for leadership for these United kingdoms to Leave-The-EU – which currently it clearly is not – as is notably highlighted by the likes of Marta Andreasen, skeptyk, independent UKIP, Mick McGough, Godfrey Bloom, David Bannerman, Stuart Agnew and the many other liars, low lifes and cheats who so consistently drag the name of UKIP in the gutter with their lies and serial distortions.

Hugh Williams forwarded to me a statement where he calls my comments in respect of the party´s finances “patently false” and he refutes them.

The “mis-information” -as Hugh calls it- about the party´s financial status,  came from Nigel himself on such terms and more than once.

As I do not have the chance to see the party´s accounting records,  at this point I have to rely on Hugh´s opinion.

Appointed assistant Treasurer two months ago, Hugh seems to have grasped the financial situation very quickly and appears to know better than the leader of the party. I have therefore to conclude that Nigel´s comment to me may not respond to reality, in which case I withdraw my reference to it.

In fact looking at the huge number of staff Nigel recruits in the UK and in Brussels and relating it to the 9 UKIP councillors that were elected out of 9,300 seats, I should have realized that the party enjoyed a more than comfortable financial situation! Apologies!!!

Hi,

a small example for UKIP that shows that corruption, dishonesty, greed, bullying and liars are no substitute for integrity.

Congratulations to Chris Hudson who yesterday won the seat of Suffolk Coastal as a Tory.

Many will remember this was the seat where John West was the candidate for UKIP until he was lied about, abused, ridiculed and mocked with no political support from scum like utterly discredited thief fraud and dishonourable Stuart Agnew MEP, the liar George Curtis, the corrupt and professionally inadequate Andrew Smith, the totally discreditted liar cheat and low life Mick McGough, the foul mouthed and dishonourable Annabelle Fuller, the bully liar and discreditted abuser Peter Reeve, the dellusional dishonest creep David Bannerman, the self serving corrupt Stuart Gulleford and others.

Let us not forget that UKIP destroyed Suffolk Coastal branch and in the election yesterday was completely incapable of finding a single applicant or representative to stand not even on their level of paper candidate could they even find toilet paper to stand!

For quite some time Chris Hudson was lauded by UKIP and even called upon to represent Geoffrey Titford, UKIP’s one time leader – Chris’s political experience was called upon by Farage for advice even having years of experience with the Tory Party.

Chris Hudson had lent his support to UKIP in the belief that they would act as Britain’s lifeboat to lead Britain to Leave-The-EU – when it became apparent they were just a small claque seeking self aggrandisement and self enrichment through exploitation he accepted the Tory offer to return and be their candidate in Suffolk Coastal.

Standing for his first time and still adherent to his Leave-The-EU agenda at first glance it looks as if he has received a larger percentage of the vote than had UKIP anywhere!

UKIP on the other hand has seen the outcome of their odious behaviour and their results have been an unmitigated and unprincipled catastrophy if it is still pretending to lead Britain to Leave-The-EU.

All too often a symptom of a weak and venal leadership seeking to obfuscate the truth leaving concerned members to invent their own interpretations!

May I suggest if YOU wish to confirm the veracity of any rumour or claim you may hear that you check with this blog.

Clearly it is not in our interest to publish anything but the truth as the aim is to:

yesterday afternoon I was mailed this by a contact who hoped I could pass it on to Junius:

I have been told by an ex-member who lives a long way away from me that ROBIN PAGE attended either the last NEC or a very recent one to put his case…….

 

Junius needs to ask questions of honest folk on this one.

My contact has always been honest, and is very hurt/damaged by the Farage +  cabal.

The person has never ‘gilded the lilly’ , if information is wrong someone has cleverly duped this person.

 

Is there a gradual move to bring some back ?  Does NF seek money / influence ?

Derek Clark will oppose this, he started the ‘shit list’ as Party Secretary and keeps his own records on this; working assisuously to maintain and grow it. He actually let slip  (unusual for him; as he virtually always maintained a sulkly sort of grumbling growling  silence )  at an EMCC around winter 05/06 in an unusual sort of wild eyed rant about his own role in setting it up/maintaining it himself.

Even innocent ordinary members who fell for the RKS charms ( mostly E.Mids)  have never been allowed back as Clark saw to the purge/deniel of membership renewel. That included 2 significient donors to his 04 victory.

As is my won’t I felt I should check the facts before I passed it on as it might well just be malicious gossip or factually untrue.

I am glad that I did not pass it on as fact to one of the Junius team.

Though there may be a smattering of truth the main item is unmittigated bunkum.

I have bothered to flag this up as this level of tittle tattle can be damaging to individuals.

I have checked with Robin Page this evening and he has asked me to advise any genuine EUroRealists that there is absolutely no truth in the claims as related to him.

No approach has been made to him by any NEC member and he has NOT been asked to rejoin the party or attend an NEC meeting.

Robin is mystified as to the purpose of this mischievous claim.

He has further stated that as early stated in this blog he WAS approached by Malcolm Pearson whilst UKFirst Party was still functioning with a request to amalgamate or rejoin UKIP, Robin declined the overture – but then again Malcolm Pearson was also involved with talks with The Jury Party and other non events and even advocated that UKIP supporters should support his chums in The Tory Party rather than support UKIP.

Malcolm Pearson not only proved to be a treacherous weak and self serving liar but a political buffoon.

Robin Page has made it abundantly clear that he has no desire to be associated with the corruption in UKIP as manifest by individuals like David Bannerman, Nigel Farage, Stuart Agnew and others – perhaps there are some UKIP members who have still not read Robin Page’s many column inches in the media making his position abundantly clear.

You are at liberty to check the FACTS for yourself.

You will also note that Robin Page spoke recently at a small UKIP meeting, against his better judgement, for Martin Harvey as a personal favour and as a friend of both Martin and his sister, of long standing. To avoid embroillment in the ‘political’ angst of UKIP you will note Robin left immediately after he had spoken.

I trust this clarifies the facts and puts paid to what would seem to have been a mischievous and unchecked rumour, that I have quashed as we have no way of knowing how wide was the distribution!

DD has finally woken up after all these years and realised just how he has been used and abused by ‘I’, ‘I’, ‘I’!

Hi,

it does rather look as if Douglas Denny has at last woken up and realised just how much of a puppet he has been used as and how he has consistently been duped.

This may well explain his lies and fantasies about me and others  – it is just possible that he actually believed the garbage he was being fed and then regurgitating.

As has been my style for many years I shall not publish his challenge nor ‘I’, ‘I’, ‘I’s response nor the rejoinder until I have received a copy from a second source.

However suffice to say this COULD be the step towards cleaning up UKIP to start to maker it an acceptable vote for informed, decent moral individuals – not just the children in politics, the uninformed and the dreamers not to mention the many maggots that have gathered to feed on the crumbs that fall from the the troughs of the self serving leadership.

I wish those seeking the truth and a full accounting of the £Millions that have gone missing unaccounted, the fraud and the self enrichment – little wonder that Mike Nattrass and Trevor Colman followed the lead of Nikki Sinclaire and there are clear signs that others will leave the EFD Group after the Local Elections.

Little wonder that Marta Andreasen has demanded control of her own 400 Budget and may well defect to the EPP and the center right of Spanish politics.

Little wonder that duplicitous and dishonest David Bannerman is seeking a new home having failed to gain acceptance with the Tories in the Eastern Region he is now trying to jump ship for the Tories in the South West where it is likely that he may be able to do a deal taking William Dartmouth with him.

There is a possibility of a very much better future if DD’s efforts to clean up UKIP succeed as do not forget not only does he know where many of the bodies are buried but in many instances he was duped into wielding the shovel!

Let us hope others give DD the support he will need.

That Giles Chichester‘s Diary Business seems no longer to be subsidised may explain why David Bannerman is making a play for his Tory Seat in The South West having proved himself to be dishonest, corrupt, a liar and utterly useless in his present Region of near invisibility in The East!

This is no STAR coming out of The East just a scrophulous self seeking and utterly discreditted little nebish – Willing to betray any and all including UKIP to get a place in The Tories and when he looses favour there he will no doubt betray them AGAIN!

I presume that this means Farage employs his pro on his allowances and his wife – since his wife seems not to do much for UKIP & his pro has achieved very little for UKIP does this imply they are both paid £30K or does his pro get paid more than his wife?

The other interesting point is that as yet the site seems incomplete as Kirsten Farage is not included and surely on his minimum basic allowances doesn’t ever MEP receive £215K – I can not believe that deducting Kirsten’s £30K leaves Annabelle Fuller and Ray Finch with £185K between them – surely there are more staff or does Farage employ other staff as EFD Group as he diod with Mark Croucher – in fact are either Ray Finch or Annabelle Fuller or even Kirsten also on The EFD Group payroll?

If lobbyists or PR companies such as Athena-PR receive money from ANY department of The EU as I read the rules, surely that precludes a member of their staff even a director from employment by The EU in any separate capacity yet we KNOW that Farage employed Athena-PR to promote and manage his leadership election.

Minded that the aim of UKIP was to expose corruption in The EU this does seem to be at best sailing close to the wind not to mention lacking in transparency!

Looking around the site clearly it is being worked on as from Sinclaire’s site she clearly employs about 8 to 10 staff from her £215K allowance.

This still doesn’t tell us what happens to The 400 Allowance of £76K per MEP in a Group which the leader of the group receives – Though we do believe that Marta Andreasen has forced Farage to give her full control of her share of the budget!

Questions for Gerard Batten EFD MEP

Gerard Batten is due to attend an open UKIP meeting this Saturday in Hertfordshire. We trust that Gerard will be asked why he is still prepared to sit in the extremist, racist, anti Jewish & pro EU membership EFD Group when Mike Nattrass MEP, Nikki Sinclaire MEP and Trevor Colman MEP are not.

We would also be interested in his opinions as to why no action has been taken by UKIP’s NEC after The Sunday Times obtained incriminating statements that UKIP MEPs Agnew and Bannerman – the region’s UKIP MEPs – were /fraudulently obtaining tax payers’ money and illegally paying the UKIP Regional Organiser Peter Reeve out of their EU allowances.

Surely, their action has brought the party into disrepute as the story was featured in several newspapers and is clearly true as Agnew was caught on camera boasting of it!. See: CLICK HERE

That both Stuart AGNEW & David BANNERMAN are under investigation for Fraud with prima Facie Evidence should surely cause UKIP pause for thought and that they lacked the integrity, just as with Derek CLARK MEP, speaks volumes of the dross that are UKIP’s Leadership and its parasites.

The Civic Hall is in Hoddesdon at postcode EN11 8BE. It is situated just off Cock Lane, South of the Town Centre and Golden Lion Pub. There is ample parking between Cock Lane and the Hall Complex.

This is a great opportunity to hear and question very good speakers, and also meet old and new friends during the buffet lunch, and maybe later support our very own UKIP pub, The Golden Lion. Cromwell is said to have frequented the area, so maybe his ghost will have a few suggestions regarding the Traitors!

I wasn’t going to bother with a follow up as I only expected about 30 people to attend but with Robin Page attending as the most notable speaker this dragged the numbers up a little and I gather about 40 are claimed to have attended.

As one attendee told me ‘It looked like a normal UKIP meeting, an undynamic audience of almost exclusively elderly folk the men, on this hot day, in jackets and ties with their overly patched silver haired ladies teased out in rows’!

It was good of Robin to try to bolster Martin Harvey’s meeting but he studiously stayed away from telling the truth about UKIP before shooting off to enjoy the weather leaving the audience somewhat bemused by his avoidance of the facts regarding UKIP – to leave Martin Harvey with his delusions that change can be effected in UKIP.

A measure of just how on the pulse of the Party Martin Harvey manages to keep was his utterly ridiculous outburst and abuse of Christopher Hudson for having left UKIP to join The Tories!

Where has poor old Martin been sleeping?
Christopher Hudson left UKIP when his membership came due for renewal two years ago. That he had never been prepared to stand against Tories during his service to UKIP or subsequently when he was Organiser for Ganley’s Pan EU Libertas Party!!

Bye the Bye – how come Martin Harvey didn’t notice Christopher was opposing UKIP having seen the light way back then!

Once Robin Page had spoken and left the meeting rather slid down hill and became yet more pointless as with the best will in the world – other than for his economic OPINIONS – who would cross the road to listen to the ‘dynamism’ of Tim Congdon or even more tedious Gerard Batten!

One has to feel sorry for the UKIP members with the clowns they have in their leadership team and its parasites. Liars, cheats, nebishes and low lifes almost without exception!

I wonder will Stuart Wheeler have the intelligence to realise he is being duped and the courage to admit it and walk away – I doubt it based on his track record, this man made his money as a professional gambler and chucked £5M at the Tories without ANY rational controls and then went on to loose over half of his fortune when called on to use his business acumen!!

Hi,

no one said Mike Nattrass was anything but slow off the mark – you will note how long it took him to act ethically and quit the vile Pan EU Political EFD Group!

So he took a few days to twig that it was All Fools Day!

At least he showed he is not as dishonest a fool as Gerard Batten MEP, David Bannerman MEP, Stuart Agnew MEP and John Bufton MEP who are still happy to support and lend credibility to the racist, extremists of The EFD Group and their odious anti Judaism and violent anti homosexuality – though to be fair David Bannerman has been all but pestering The Tories for a job ANY job!

Perhaps he could join in the fun with Stephen Sobey and Athena-PR who are promoting the Tory attempt to respond to wee Millipied’s Protest Group with March against Debt!!! They seem to have become a Tax Payers Appliance!

In passing it was quite funny watching Stuart Agnew’s little temper tantrum in The EU mock parliament during The PEPP Debate last night! Poor sould when challenged on ethics completely lost it and started ranting about money and the devil like some barmy evangelist – he never did manage to address the ethics of helping The EU – Nikki Sinclaire in her one minute speech was so much more convincing as she lambasted The EU on behalf of her financially strapped West Midlands constituents her speech and intervention were on a par with van Orden’s opposition to PEPPs and their funding.

Howvere Dan Hannan put on one of his bravura performances in defence of Britain and the tax payers – it is such a pitty The Tory Party leadership are so out of step with the electorate.

I have a feeling that not only had Mike Nattrass forgotten the First of April but it seems he and Trevor Colman had forgotten the 5th. as well and toddled off to the flesh pots of Strasbourg leaving Diane Dodds and Nikki Sinclaire to do the work they are paid for as there was no sign of them in the chamber or on the record speeking in defence of Britain and against PEPP.

Let us hope that ‘Lobbydog’ didn’t take their little jape at Mike Nattrass’ expense too seriously as clearly he didn’t as he merely toddled off for dinner!

UKIP MEP fooled…

A UKIP MEP sent over an excited press release to one of my desks this morning detailing how those damned bureaucrats in Brussels were fiddling around in our lives again.

Incensed Mike Nattrass, West Midlands MEP, copied and pasted an article from the “Classic Cars for Sale” website into his email which told how “EU Directive 2011/35/T” was going to destroy people’s ability to own and drive classic cars.

The article said the directive would mean anyone wishing to keep a car over 20 years old would have to register it as “off road” permanently and would then need to apply for a special license to drive to classic car events.

This licence would need to be applied for three months before attending any event and a maximum of 5 licenses will be granted per year – how dare they!

But while Nattrass noticed all of this, he failed to notice that the article had been posted on April 1 – the day on which fools get taken in.

If that was not enough of a clue there were several other posts on other car websites pointing out exactly what the story was, including one featuring a big laughing cat and the caption “April Fools Day bwahahaha!”

Last year Nattrass wrote a letter to UKIP members criticising his party’s leader Nigel Farage as a “control freak” who tried to steal all the party’s publicity. If this is the start of his attempt to get some back I suggest he gives up now.

In passing it was pleasant to see that Derek Clark had shuffled into the chamber for the fisheries debate – his wee speech in the fisheries debate would have had a great deal of merit had his position not been so hopelessly undermined by his membership of the extremist racist EFD Group and clearly no one listened and in fact it was apparent even he could not hear what was going on!

That Derek Clark is under investigation by OLAF and a fraud and a liar without a shred of integrity ever willing to abuse his position and having destroyed The East Midlands for UKIP almost single handed with his puppets – does little to make it worth anyones while to have him in The EU but clearly he does less damage there having managed to lose over 90% of the members in his region on his infrequent appearances!

Much was made recently of who had introduced and set up Nigel Farage to meet with The Express as The Paper is controlled and I believe owned by a relation of one party and Chris Hudson was the other introducer – such losses are hard to sustain.

Chris Hudson was held in high regard amongst The Tory Party with a regular radio show mostly interviewing Politicians and individuals of substance, well connected in media terms and with long term competence in Politics Jeffrey Titford was all too keen to embrace Christopher Hudson as both an adviser and as his spokesman in public on many occasions.

It was way back when I had written to every member of UKIP twice to gain Jeffrey Titford a narrow majority as leader as the only viable, if very pedestrian and self important, a pair of hands to steer UKIP on a steady course after the colourful if utterly incompetent period under the hand of Michael Holmes.

It worked out ‘QUITE’ well and stabilised the party adequately for Roger Knapman to try to take the party forward – he was far from the sharpest knife in the box and tended to think that keeping the lid on everything was the art of leadership but unfortunately a fair amount of poisin had already crept into UKIP with the likes of liars like Mark Croucher, the utterly indollent and self serving Jim Carver, Mr. thick as brick David Lott, the bumbling bufoon Graham Booth and the liar, cheat and theif (he even boasted of his fraufd in public) Derek Clark and the odious thief and low life Tom Wise – need I go on!

Well in disgust Christopher Hudson with his inside knowledge of UKIP and his wide political experience did not renew his UKIP membership in 2009.

This is a man who is just about to launch a radio station, has been a broadcaster in the past, worked for The British Government for a period in India and in the MEP selection process where David Bannerman, Christopher Gill, Peter Reeve, Mick McGough and others set out to cheat and fix the election see CLICK HERE

Early in the process Christopher Hudson had received over 400 written Pledges in an election which David Bannerman went on to win with less votes! As I recall.

You may remember that it was a part of that election where UKIP’s name was dragged in the mud by the dishonesty, corruption and lies of Annabelle Fuller and her utterly amoral conduct – a style for which she has a clear and undeniable track record of despite the obsessive and imature infatuation of Nigel Farage who has proved he will lie not only to The Party but to The NEC and the media to protect her.

It is sad that UKIP has chosen to live in the gutter but its leadership has shown that it is all too willing to prostitute the Party and if need be sell out the members for personal gain.

Interestingly Now that he has had the common sense to disassociate himself from the filth in UKIP, particularly in his region Christopher Hudson has been appointed Deputy Chairman of Central Suffolk Branches for The Tories and selected as their District Council Candidate for Suffolk Coastal.

Perhaps John West will take the opportunity to interview him on one of his lively 3 hour Radio Programmes, they might care to discuss filth like Mick McGough and Andrew Smith and how their lies have done such harm to UKIP!

We are informed that David Bannerman offered enough info. to destroy UKIP & Farage to be selected by The Tories. This did nothing to help his ambitions it seems, it just showed him for a liar and untrustworthy.

Marta Andreasen MEP seems to be having much the same problems but at least, from Cameron’s point of view she has not campaigned to leave The EU but merely to change The EU, which is more acceptable to The Tories.
Marta Andreasen however has the same problem with trust and reliability which will in fact preclude The Tories from taking her in as it is well known that she is a liar, a fraud and untrustworthy as shown by her employment record and also The Courts!
 

You may recall how Tim Sebastian rather surprised Marta Andreasen with his research and his challenge of how she had been suspended from her job at The OECD and lost her case against them proved just how Hard ‘Hard Talk’ could be!

This led to the allegations involving racism and also that she had obtained her job with The EU working for Neil Kinnock fraudulently (just as she became an MEP fraudulently by telling lies!).

It is VERY unlikely that The Tories will change their minds having rejected her advances in the past – In real terms lets face it UKIP MEPs have absolutely nothing in terms of credibility, ability or reputation that any Party would welcome; except perhaps The BNP to swell their ranks and of course the faintly idiotic English Dummycrats to TRY to raise their profile.

One wonders with these machinations for how long Jerzy Buzek, as President of The EU mock Parliament, will permit this farce to continue with numbers falling in the vile and extremist Pan EU Political EFD Group with its racist and xenophobic behaviour and anti Jewish and anti homosexual antics – the numbers are laid out and The EFD is falling in size despite its very clearly stated pro EU agenda – surely Buzek must call the failing group to account as letters of resignation or at least very clearly documented material crosses his desk as with the resignation of Nikki Sinclaire MEP, Mike Nattrass MEP & Anna Rosbach MEP.

There are at least 4 others teatering on the brink of acting with integrity and disassociating themselves which would lead to the collapse of this vile pro EU group, one would hope.

Former MEP faces ‘judgement day’ in ECJ hearing

Former UK MEP Den Dover will go to court later this week to contest a decision that he should repay part of his parliamentary expenses.

The European Court of Justice in Luxembourg is expected to give its ruling on the case on Thursday.

Parliament says that between 1999 and 2008 it paid a total of just over €1m to a company called MP Holdings Ltd which listed as its directors Den Dover’s wife and daughter.

The money came from the allowance intended to pay the salaries and costs of a MEPs‘ staff and Dover’s company was supposed to administer it independently.

Questions about the arrangements started to be asked in 2006 but it was not until 2008 that parliament’s secretary general suggested that there was a conflict of interest and asked for details of the actual expenditure.

In October, the secretary general ruled that for the period August 1999 to June 2008 only €482,000 could be justified as having been paid in salaries, national insurance and legitimate staff travel expenses.

On Tuesday, a parliament spokesman told this website, “We will wait for the decision of the court. If the court supports parliament’s position, then parliament will continue steps to recover the funds from the former MEP.

“However, parliament has no powers to prosecute anyone.”

UK Liberal Democrat MEP Chris Davies has campaigned for more transparency in MEPs’ pay and allowances and has taken a particular interest in the Dover case.

Davies said, “I hope that most people elected to parliament know the difference between right and wrong, honourable and dishonourable behaviour, without having to have it laid down by law. But the fact is that some do not – as recent ‘cash for amendments’ – revelations suggest.“

He said the scale of abuse that “seems to have become common practice” amongst some MEPs was revealed in a secret report by parliament’s internal auditor in June 2008.

Davies said, “I was one of the few MEPs who had the chance, as a member of the budgetary control committee, to read the report in a sealed room.

“The report led to changes which have very significantly curbed the abuse of the secretarial allowance payments, but disgracefully, parliament is still requesting that the Court of Justice keeps the auditor’s report secret. This is ridiculous given that it can be found on the internet.

“So Den Dover might well feel very hard done by to have been fingered and chased by parliament when so many others seem to have got away with it.

“Indeed, I think he could have got away with it himself if he hadn’t tried to be clever and make payments through an ‘independent’ company.

“My interpretation of the rules that applied at the time is that he could have legitimately paid the entire allowance to his wife in her capacity as his secretary. She could have been the best paid secretary in the world but the payments wouldn’t have been challenged.”

He went on, “On Thursday we find out whether the court agrees that the financial abuse was flagrant and the money must be repaid.

“Alternatively, the court could just agree that the parliamentary rules were so lax for years that it would not be fair to demand retrospective repayments now.”

The case before the ECJ is administrative not criminal, but if Den Dover is required to repay the money does it end there?

“In Britain, MPs have gone to jail for wrongly claiming €22,000. What length of imprisonment would be justified by false claims for €573,000?”

Tomorrow is judgement day for former UK Conservative MEP Den Dover (North West region).  The European Parliament is demanding that he repay £538,290 that it alleges was wrongly claimed by him between 1999 and 2008.  He is contesting the decision and the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg is about to give its ruling.

The Parliament says that over this period it paid a total of £959,446 to a company called MP Holdings Ltd which had as directors Dover’s wife and daughter.  The money came from the allowance intended to pay the salaries and costs of an MEPs’ staff, and the company was supposed to administer it independently and at arm’s length from the MEP, although it seems that Dover’s staff included his wife and daughter (part-time)

Questions about the arrangements started to be asked in 2006 but it was not until 2008 that the Parliament’s Secretary-General suggested that there was a conflict of interest and asked for details of the actual expenditure.  In October the Secretary-General ruled that for the period August 1999 to June 2008 only £421,156 could be justified as having been paid in salaries, national insurance and legitimate staff travel expenses.

So what does the Parliament consider was illegitimate expenditure?

£101,068 for three cars

£15,404 for office supplies and equipment, £89,235 for postage and stationery, £100,735 for the costs of rent and renovation of Den Dover’s ‘office’, which just happened to be in his private home, and £20,767 for telephone costs (MEPs get a separate allowance for all these office expenses, and none of them are supposed to be paid from the staff budget)

£17,880 for ‘entertainment expenses’

And (just) £200 in donations to the Conservative Party (!!!).

The Parliament says that the rest of the money it wants back represents the costs of VAT that the company apparently failed to pay to the UK’s HMRC.

Dover’s defence seems mainly be to challenge the figures, claim that the Parliament should prove that the money was wrongly spent rather than force him to prove that it was properly used, and declare that the European Parliament had never made absolutely clear that MEPs might have to produce evidence of how the money had been spent.  He says that the Parliament went along with the arrangements for years without challenging them or suggesting that procedures needed to be tightened.

Tomorrow we find out whether the Court agrees that the financial abuse was flagrant and the money must be repaid, or whether it agrees that the parliamentary rules were so lax for years that it would not be fair to demand retrospective repayments now – in which case there may be many MEPs who will wonder why we stuck not only by the rules but by the principles of financial transparency and honesty when we could have just pocketed £100,000 or two every year as some cheating bastards did.

I wonder if Nigel Farage will be considered liable under the same rules having dishonestly and corruptly paid a family member around £30,000 a year, put a block entry in his constituency office of £211,000 for office sundries, which amounted to over 50% of the expenses and paid £6,000 to have an accountant sign off the books which were fully drawn up. Condoned and colluded in the payment of around £250,000 from a UKIP enterprise into a private bank account, paid £250,000 into one of his own off shore banks in a single cheque – the list of, if not criminal, downright suspicious transfers of money in a clandestine manner is far from short!

Then of course there was the claim made as a boast to Denis McShane regarding personal profit over and above his salary and incurred expenses that he would guess he had trousered around £2 Million at that stage.

There is of course the detail of the fact that at the time Nigel Farage claimed that the various apparent scams he was involved in regarding Ashford Employment, in its various ‘guises’, that it was THE most profitable activity UKIP had ever engaged in – meanwhile The Chairman of UKIP at the time David Bannerman, claimed that less than 15% of the money raised had ever reached UKIP’s account!

No doubt were he honest Douglas Denny could throw much light on this, as he would seem to be patsy for much of the fantasies that surround UKIP accounts, having been for a period Party Secretary and the Treasurer for Nigel Farage’s EU Region. Sadly we are unlikely to get any honest answers from Douglas Denny who has a long track record of dishonesty, fantasy and abuse.

Was the truth behind what seems to be outright scams within UKIP – including the various rip offs and failure to account 100s of £1,000 of tax payers money in Petitions that were never held yet were provided with tax payers’ money and various other scams that would seem to have been funded by UKIP members unwittingly.

Was this the reason why Nigel Farage deliberately engineered the removal of Martin Hasslam which coincidentally involved Nigel Farage’s family friend and in fact protege in UKIP Buster Motrom.

The amount of quite blatant money laundering that has involved what seems very clearly to be a criminal element that have control of the leadership of UKIP is to those of us who had hoped for probity and integrity of UKIP, quite shamefull.

Break ins, thefts from offices, trousering of public money, false witness, lies about elected members and deliberate smear campaigns, desperate attemts by the filth gathered as leadership to try to defame me – all of which have spectacularly failed as not one single fact I have published in 1,000s of postings has EVER been proven wron, dishonest or misleading – then there is the harrassment and abuse of members who seek answers and a relatively indifferent police force seemingly too bone idle to investigate the thefts and fiddles of these politicians and their parasites.
