UKIP lion skin auction ‘stupid and insensitive’
The planned auction of a lion skin and head by the UK Independence Party (UKIP) has been condemned by conservationists.
The item is being auctioned at UKIP’s annual gala dinner in Eastbourne.
Chris MacSween, of Kent-based charity Lion Aid, said it was “stupid and insensitive” and UKIP was effectively “condoning lion trophy hunting“.
UKIP said it was donated by a party member and it did not support “modern day hunting of lions for their skins”.‘Zimbabwe gift’
Continue reading the main story“Start Quote
We would urge all parties, from whatever persuasion, to abandon ideas of selling wildlife for political gain”
The party’s website listing of the item says: “Antique skin, with head, of a lioness shot in Zimbabwe. (Reserve £200) Donated by Geoffrey Clark (who did not shoot it!).”
A party spokesman said: “We appreciate that such an item is not to everybody’s taste.
“The lion head and skin is an antique which was donated to the party by a member. The member in question originally received it as a gift following a stint working in Zimbabwe.
“It is approximately 45 to 50 years old and came into the country long before modern day legislation was in place to halt such imports.”
Ms MacSween expressed “shock and horror” and said the auction was “in the worst possible taste”.
“UKIP has not only accepted this trophy in as an auction item, but now they want to earn money from it,” she said.
“You don’t sell trophies onwards. Secondly, anyone who bids for that trophy is also exhibiting the worst possible taste here. Thirdly, buying trophies stimulates the market for more lions to be hunted.”‘Trophy hunting’
She called for UKIP to remove the item from the auction list and for it to be confiscated and a full investigation to be conducted as to how it came into the UK.
“Maybe it did come in through a legal means, but we are working so very, very hard with a lot of politicians both in Europe and in the UK, cross party, to try and get trophy hunting stopped,” she said.
Will Travers, chief executive of the Born Free Foundation, also condemned the auction.
“Born Free is not interested in politics. It is interested in animal conservation and animal welfare,” he said.
“Selling animal trophies of any kind – whether it be lion, rhino or tiger – draws attention to the trade and may stimulate unscrupulous dealings.
“Therefore we would urge all parties, from whatever persuasion, to abandon ideas of selling wildlife for political gain.”
The auction is due to take place on Friday evening during the gala, which is part of the party’s annual conference.

Having been in The Durrell Research Facility in Jersey at the weekend I was interested to note that WWF have spent a part of their budget collected in from people for the protection of endangered species yet they have spent the money on sponsoring/supporting the killing of elephants.
The foolish part of UKIP leadership action was in fact describing the ornamental trophy pelt as antique!!! which it clearly is not.
Lions are NOT a protected species as such though they are protected in some areas – that an animal was shot and killed is in itself not a problem as it may well have been an elderly animal predating domestic cattle on the outskirts of Bulawayo for all we know and the knee jerk reactive comments of the imbecilic are what so rightly brings the entire so called ‘Green’ movement into disrepute.
It may surprise some that lions are prolific breeders and as with an orchid on a bowling green nothing more than a damned nuissance in the wrong place!
Also it is worth noting that lions are not immortal and 100s live in captivity and may well be quite legitimately stuffed or form trophy pelts when they die.
There is also an entire industry which has been exposed by Daniel Foggo over the years which organises trophy shooting for inadequates with money – much of this is the shooting of lions as they are abundant and they are caged in large open pens and wealthy inadequates pay to follow them for a couple of hundred yards and then shoot them in the secure knowledge that there is a professional gun either side of them to kill the beast if it turns and the client is at danger!
It happens that this week there was just such a story in The Sunday Times see: CLICK HERE.
This beast was shot in Zambia for money with a hired gun, and it was most probably a penned animal and may well have been circus stock bred in captivity, now surplus to requirement. The industry does at least feed numerous africans who may well starve without the work!
There are many consequential issues that UKIP and particularly its leadership can legitimately be castigated for but this example of their stupidity is hardly of any consequence and surely shows nothing more than the utter incompetence of their PR, Press Office and judgement YET AGAIN.
More harm has come from UKIP’s Press Office and the garbage they have employed there than has EVER been noted by their achievements!

Anarchist pop band Chumbawamba expressed horror after their anthem to resilience, Tubthumping (I Get Knocked Down), was used at the Ukip conference in Eastbourne, East Sussex.
Band member Dunstan Bruce said his reaction to the news was one of:
“total and absolute outrage and horror”.
He suggested that the party must have been unaware of the band’s background.
“This song being used by Ukip is so wrong. I am absolutely appalled that this grubby little organisation are stealing our song to use for their own ends. It’s beyond the pale and if they use it again we will consider legal action.”

For more details of the conference see last year – much the same with the same 400 presented as near double that rattling around in an oversized facility with a platform to promote the EU’s aims with irrelevant foreign politicians and the normal little claque of Farage sychophants clamouring for attention to get a hand up onto the Gravy Train.
Sad really when you realise whist the whole of UKIP has been so badly led they have done nothing whilst those who really seek to Leave-The-EU have gone out and helped Nikki Sinclaire as an independent to get over 100,000 signatures and driven her campaign vehicles and ad vans 1,000s of miles working on a daily basis towards the Leave-The-EU cause – whilst the Judas Goats and Plastic EUroSceptics were merely helping The EU and routing around in the trough for more money for themselves!
It seems that UKIP has so lost the plot that their only means of defending themselves is not to show their achievements but to abuse and lie about anyone who tells the truth about them or does not endlessly worship their ineptitude.

Well it is The Farage Fund Raising Party I guess – but I guess that will cost UKIP members 10s of £1,000 when it comes to the High Court but why should Farage worry when UKIP received £8,500 compensation for an error in The Sunday Times that of course will have gone to Farage and when the Bills come in for his many lost Court cases those Bills go to the members!
He is however quite a good performer all be it a uselesas leader as this video shows:

A coalition ally of Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi has provoked outrage after he praised the rantings of Norwegian right-wing terrorist Anders Behring Breivik.Mario Borghezio, an MEP with the anti-immigration Northern League party, who have campaigned against Muslims and the building of mosques, said Breivik had some ‘excellent’ ideas.Speaking on an Italian radio show he said he agreed with the maniac’s ‘opposition to Islam and his explicit accusation that Europe has surrendered before putting up a fight against its Islamisation.’![]()
‘Excellent’ ideas: Mario Borghezio, an Italian MEP for the anti-immigration Northern League party, left, said he agreed with terrorist mass-murderer Anders Breivik, right, on his views about Muslim immigrants and Islam in Europe
Though Borghezio added that he did not however agree with the use of extreme violence, or Breivik’s anti-Papal views, his comments immediately unleashed a storm of fury with his own party apologising to still grieving Norway.Northern League chief Roberto Calderoli said: ‘His comments are terrible and completely unqualified and we can only apologise to the families of the victims for the delirium of what he said.’
The Northern League is a key ally of Berlusconi’s ruling right-wing coalition and, although the prime minister did not comment personally, members of his party also rounded on Mr Borghezio.Carlo Giovanardi, an MP for the Christian Democratic Party, said: ‘Is it too much to ask for our Northern League friends to throw Borghezio out of their party?‘We have vain hopes he will resign for what he said but that is unlikely to happen.’Italy’s Foreign Minister Franco Frattini also stepped into the row over Borghezio’s comments and said: ‘He should offer Norway his personal apologies.‘We as a government cannot intervene directly with an MEP – but we have made it very clear that the best course of action would be for him to make a personal apology.‘His own party has disassociated themselves from him and that is a very important sign – he must feel the duty to say himself that he is sorry for what he said.‘Any message of racism, xenophobia and exclusion or which leads to an incitement of violence or an emulation of violence must be condemned.’
Horror: This picture shows Breivik stalking Utoya island, surrounded by the bodies of his young victims, with one in the water pleading for his life
Terror: Debris is seen on the street after the car bomb planted by Breivik detonated outside a government building in Oslo
Today internet forums were ablaze with furious comments against Borghezio with one popular post saying that he ‘needs to be locked up in a mental asylum and have the key thrown away.’But there were some comments in his favour with some saying he was ‘speaking the truth’ and calling on the Northern League to ‘support him instead of attack him’.
A new headache: Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi is still reeling from national debt problems and a string of high profile scandals
Borghezio himself was unrepentant and added: ‘I said what I said because I have the impression this massacre has a purpose, I don’t think this lunatic meant his act to have this outcome.‘What we should ask ourselves is how can someone who was supposed to have been on a watch list been allowed to go around and do what he did?‘Christians should not be sacrificial animals – they should be defended.’Borghezio has a long history of anti-immigration campaigning – in 2005 he was found guilty of arson, after setting fire to pallets of some migrants sleeping under a bridge in Turin during a vigilante raid. The centre-left opposition called for Borghezio to resign from the European Parliament.David Sassoli, an MEP with Italy’s Democratic Left opposition, said: ‘It is a matter of shame for all of us that a representative of the ruling coalition made apologetic remarks about one of the cruelest acts of terrorism.’
Hi,
the Northern League and UKIP are the two largest parties in EFD, each with 9 MEPs in the group out of a group total of 27 MEPs. And the leader of the Northern League MEPs – and co-president of EFD – is Francesco Speroni, who is one of the two MEPs to have made these astonishing remarks supportive of Norway’s worst ever mass murderer. So when Farage quite rightly demands a retraction and apology for the remarks, or else UKIP will suspend its EFD membership, he may well be signalling the end of the EFD group.
Such faith, Tom!
Compare your last sentence quoted above with what is actually happening. It took just 24 hours for the back-tracking to start!
Remember:
Speroni was directly quoted by the Guardian, saying:“Breivik’s ideas are in defence of western civilisation”, and “I’m with Borghezio. I don’t think he should resign. If [Breivik’s] ideas are that we are going towards Eurabia and those sorts of things, that western Christian civilisation needs to be defended, yes, I’m in agreement”.
In a statement on 28 July, UKIP said Nigel Farage had contacted Speroni, his EFD co-president,
“to demand an immediate retraction and apology following his remarks and those of his fellow Northern League MEP Mario Borghezio . . . . If no retraction is forthcoming then UKIP will suspend its membership of the EFD group in which it sits alongside the Italian political party”.
On 29 July, UKIP’s follow up statement said Speroni had written to Farage saying that he condemns the massacre and the extreme fundamentalism in question – an addition to his earlier remarks.
Has Speroni withdrawn the statements he made in support of Borghezio?
No, he has not.
Has Speroni retracted his agreement with Breivik’s ideas?
No, he has not.
Has Speroni apologised?
No, he has not.
Has Nigel Farage suspended UKIP MEPs’ membership of the EFD as he said he would?
Apparently not. It seems Borghezio has been suspended by his party and UKIP says it is satisfied that this
“will send a clear message that they, and we will not have any truck with such disgraceful sentiments now or in the future”.
Farage is convening the EFD next week to suspend Borghezio from the group.
So that’s it. The book thrown at Borghezio; Speroni quietly forgotten. UKIP can trumpet that Farage has taken “prompt action”, and the EFD can survive with the temporary loss of one Italian.
Note that Farage’s demands for “an immediate retraction and apology” from Speroni are for home consumption only. The EFD‘s website doesn’t mention them, or the threat to suspend UKIP MEPs’ membership of the group.
An interesting aspect of this is that one of those who has condemned Borghezio’s comments, calling them “terrible, unspeakable remarks”, is the Lega Nord MP and cabinet minister Roberto Calderoli, the man indirectly responsible for UKIP MEPs and their allies expelling the Lega Nord from their previous Independence & Democracy group.
Calderoli was not even an MEP, yet in 2006 his party was expelled from the Ind/Dem following his provocative comments and TV appearance wearing a T-shirt bearing a copy of one of the Danish Muslim cartoons.
There has been no talk of expelling Speroni and Borghezio, whose comments have caused the current outrage; only of UKIP MEPs ‘suspending’ their EFD membership.
And it looks like Farage is welching on even that!
He gave Speroni an ultimatum – make an immediate full retraction and apologise, or we suspend our membership of the group.
Speroni has done neither. He’s stuck two metaphorical fingers up at UKIP’s leader and Farage has backed down, talking now of convening the EFD Bureau to suspend Borghezio instead.
He wouldn’t need to run to the Bureau for consent if he’d kept his word and suspended UKIP’s membership. He could have done that all by himself!
Well that is not so good. What are they doing in the EFD? I didn’t think the Lisbon Treaty had anything to do with either freedom or democracy. In my view that would be far more offensive than something someone said in front of a load of emotional halfwits.
Why shouldn’t they be in it? You didn’t think the EFD was anti-EU did you?
Out of their own mouths, Baron . . . . .
Outcome of the referendum in Ireland (debate) 7 October 2009
Fiorello Provera (EFD )The Lega Nord , the party I represent, voted for the Treaty in the Italian Parliament and I personally was the rapporteur.
(Note: Signor Provera is the EFD member Sharon Ellul Bonici was hoping to sign up for Godfrey Bloom’s new PEPP)
——————–
Presentation of the work programme of the Swedish Presidency (debate) 15 July 2009 Francesco Enrico Speroni, on behalf of the EFD Group.
We must overcome the crisis of confidence that undoubtedly exists. The poor turnout at the elections of this Parliament is a symptom of this, and to overcome it, we must act fully in accordance with the will of our electorate. We must also perhaps avoid making comparisons: your country borders Norway; I live near Switzerland. They are outside the European Union, but they live well all the same; they have the same problems, but they are no worse off than us, and here it is important to see and to demonstrate that it is worth having the European Union.
———————
Multi-annual programme 2010-2014 regarding the area of freedom, security and justice (Stockholm Programme) (debate) 24 November 2009
Mario Borghezio, on behalf of the EFD GroupWe need to create a single European legal system if we want to combat, at European level, crime that has become international and moves easily between banks, tax havens, financial markets and movable and fixed assets markets.
Quite.
At the end of July, following the mass murder of young Norwegians by Anders Behring Breivik, UKIP issued two statements regarding comments made by their MEPs’ EFD colleagues Mario Borghezio and Francesco Speroni.
On 28 July, UKIP wrote: “Nigel Farage said:“Nigel Farage said: “I have written to the leadership of the Northern League party to demand an immediate full retraction and apology. If my request is not met, then we will suspend our membership of the EFD group”.
A clear and unequivocal undertaking.
On 29 July, following Speroni’s reply, UKIP wrote:“Mr Farage is convening the governing Bureau of the EFD Group in the European Parliament next week in order to suspend Mr Borghezio from his membership of the group”.
Another clear and unequivocal undertaking, yet if Borghezio had retracted and apologised as Farage demanded, why was he to be suspended? And if he had not retracted and apologised, Farage (having suspended UKIP MEPs from the group as stated on July 28), would not then be in a position to convene the Bureau and suspend Borghezio.
So where is the retraction and apology, and on what date and with what outcome was the Bureau convened?
Because despite UKIP’s statements and Nigel Farage’s assurance, UKIP MEPs are still sitting and voting in the European parliament with their EFD colleagues Speroni and Borghezio.
See Roll-call votes, Busuttil Report, 13.9.2011 http://www.europarl.europa.eu/sides/…EN&language=EN
quote:(Against) EFD: (The Earl of) Dartmouth, Agnew, Andreasen, Batten, Bizzotto, Borghezio, Bufton, Clark, Farage, Fontana, Provera, Rossi, Salvini, Scotta, Speroni, de Villiers
ends
Huffing and puffing empty promises to shut critics up at home; treated with contempt by MEPs he ‘presides’ over in Brussels; and all the time, out of sight of UKIP members, European parliament business as usual.
How utterly despicable!

Hi, the BBC published this earlier today when I read it I was sad to note that whilst EUkip were merely making noises they had achieved nothing – same old failed Tories, same old contrived publicity but the item of note was that whilst UKIP Leadership are pandering to The EU and helping The EU in any way that will stuff their pockets their membership heartily rejected on a 2 to 1 basis any concept of joining a PEPP and few seem happy to have pandered to The EU to accept the bribe of having their conference paid for by tax payers in return for supplying The EU with a platform – who cares how the Czechs, French, Fins, Latvians, Lithuanians and Luxembourgee wish to be governed that UKIP members must endure the speeches of obscure foreign speakers! Meanwhile whilst UKIP Leadership have raised their sights a little from Nigel Farage’s testicles and Annabelle Fuller’s drunken antics it was good to see someone was actively pursuing a clear Leave-The-EU agenda. All be it at the end of the article – I guess you could hardly expect The BBC with its massive soft loans from The EU and hugely propagandised pro EU output to give significance to an actual achievement rather than just a PR hand out but that said they did cover Nikki Sinclaire’s magnificent achievement and presentation of her Petition at Drowning Street of the initial 100,000 signatures for an IN/OUT referendum on membership of The EU: Quote
That only 30% of the population said they would vote to stay in the EU and 52% would vote to Leave-The-EU in the You Gov poll Nikki Sinclaire commissioned and paid for is a hugely significant achievement whilst UKIP leadership continue squabbling and posing to keep their snouts in the troughs on the gravy train with 18 years behind them and not ONE concrete achievement to Leave-The-EU to show for it! Well done Sinclaire and her many supporters from all parties and none! Regards, |
|||||||
Interestingly my informants have noted that Nikki Sinclaire MEP – although an Independent MEP has been seen with her Team in Eastborne this evening and they are staying in a hotel locally.
Although Mike Nattrass MEP and Trevor Colman MEP are no longer members of The EFD they will be present for the EFD section of the conference tomorrow and will no doubt be assisting Nikki Sinclaire who after enquiries I have discovered has been invited to have a table at the conference as an Independent to promote her very successful Cross Party Petition – gather although Jon Gaunt will be speaking to the subject of Petitions he did not have sufficient promotional material or achievement so far especially as the Plastic EUrosceptics acting as Judas Goats have rather stolen his clothes setting up a competition Pledge however both have effectively failed as was shown in Drowning Street yesterday!
Whilst EUkip squabbles and tries to cut deals to stay out of Court where after the guilty verdict already obtained by Sinclaire against Nigel Farage, Godfrey Bloom and UKIP it is certain she will win her case should UKIP not provide adequate support and recompense for their behaviour and lies about her.

I’ll post the details of the story later as I expect a call from a chum on one of the picture desks and also from within the BBC.
Check Back Later!
I see Nikki Sinclaire has just put this on her blog:
PRESS RELEASE
Wednesday September 7, 2011
FIGHT FOR A REFERENDUM ON EUROPE GOES TO NUMBER10 AS 100,000 DEMAND A SAY
The Prime Minister will come under mounting pressure to hold a referendum on Britain’s EU membership tomorrow (Thurs) when his own MPs march on Downing Street.
“To insist that only an online petition will count would disenfranchise millions of people, particularly the poor and elderly, who do not have an email account or access to a computer.”
The breakthrough is bolstered by a YouGov poll which reveals a clear majority want ordinary people to have the final say on whether we pull out of Europe.
It shows for the first time a majority of people would actually vote to leave the European Union in an referendum.
The poll results will make uncomfortable reading for Mr Cameron with mounting dissatisfaction over Europe on his own benches.
Nikki also pays tribute to the hundreds of people across the country who have helped collate the petition including one gentleman in Dorset who has collected 2,000 signatures. Nikki said “I’m overwhelmed by the level of support and the dedication of these people who truly are an inspiration.”
Ends
Note to Editors.
The Campaign has collected in excess of 70,000 signatures on paper and in excess of 30,000 online at www.haveyoursay.eu
The paper petition forms will be handed in at 10 Downing Street at 11.45pm on Thursday September 8, 2011.
According to the Office of National Statstics report in 2010 9.2 million people have never accessed the internet.

Astonishingly local issue Party also rans The Greens managed an MP by clever strategy!
The vile BNP has imploded and the various other also rans are regional only!
UKIP Leadership Make Much of being 4th. out of 4 on the National stakes!!
.
we were astonished that UKIP Leadership claque made so much of this poll though to be fair they were 4th. out of 4 National parties with their percentage up having, it seems, picked up support from the collapse of their closest rivals The BNP from UKIP style dishonesty, bullying and internal wrangling.
By clever strategy The Greens managed to get their party into Westminster, only a dream for UKIP leader Farage who stands at every opportunity,
The great sadness for UKIP members after 18 years is to read the agenda for The Conference this week and note that UKIP are unable to field a single solitary individual in the party of stature, gravitas and competent. 18 years and so staggeringly little progress – just glance down the list of personalities speaking not a single solitary individual with a mainstream profile unless you hinge the whole conference on Jon Gaunt!
Look with care at the list and much become apparent – EUkip have spent so much time navel gazing they have failed totally to build either a structure or a presence, they have even had to fossick around EU cronies to find SOMEONE to speak albeit unknowns to the public and utterly irrelevant to British Patriots who frankly couldn’t give a damn how Latvia, Lithuania and Luxembourg wish to be ruled or the governance of Finland, France and Greece wish to be financed and controlled – No more our business than Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran or Libya!
Astonishingly at a time when 52% of the electorate would vote to leave The EU, on a far more significant poll funded by Independent MEP Nikki Sinclaire, and only 30% would vote to stay in and listen to the Finns, Czechs, French and other foreigners on how they are goverened!
With over 66% of Tory voters who would vote to Leave-The-EU
UKIP gets its best ever poll result comming 4th. out of 4 National Parties with 7%
Could it be that UKIP has become a part of the problem and has surrendered its CLAIMED ambition to be part of the solution when you consider:
(09/07/11) –
The approval rating for David Cameron remains stable, while both Nick Clegg and Ed Miliband lose points.
The Labour Party is holding on to the top spot in Britain’s political landscape, a new Angus Reid Public Opinion poll has found.
The online survey of a representative sample of 2,005 British adults also shows a drop in the approval rating for both Nick Clegg and Ed Miliband.
Voting Intention
Across Britain, 39 per cent of decided voters and leaners (-2 since July) say they would support the Labour candidate in their constituency in the next General Election.
The Conservative Party is second with 33 per cent (-1), followed by their coalition partners—the Liberal Democrats—with 11 per cent (+1).
The United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) is next with seven per cent, followed by the Scottish National Party (SNP) with five per cent, the Green Party with two per cent, and the British National Party (BNP) also with two per cent.
Labour is still clearly ahead of its rivals in the North (47%), holds a ten-point lead over the Conservatives in London (44% to 34%) and a four-point edge in Midlands and Wales (41% to 37%). The Tories are still first in the South of England (40% to 34%). In Scotland, the SNP now holds the support of practically half of decided voters (49%).
Approval
There has been no change in the performance rating for Prime Minister David Cameron since March, with two-in-five respondents (41%) saying they approve of the way he is handling his duties, and half of Britons (51%) saying they disapprove.
While one third of respondents (32%) approve of Ed Miliband’s performance as Leader of the Opposition, only one-in-four (26%) feel the same way about the way Nick Clegg is doing his job as Deputy Prime Minister.
CONTACT:
Methodology: From September 1 to September 2, 2011, Angus Reid Public Opinion conducted an online survey among 2,005 randomly selected British adults who are Springboard UK panelists. The margin of error—which measures sampling variability—is +/- 2.2%. The results have been statistically weighted according to the most current education, age, gender and region data to ensure samples representative of the entire adult population of Great Britain. Discrepancies in or between totals are due to rounding.

. Re-TWEET my Twitterings
.
Hi,
this discussion from one of the many Forums where I post material opposed to membership of The EU may interest you:
I agree.
However, even if people haven’t got computers we can’t hold progress up.
Computers are part of our lives and they won’t go away.
We must adapt to modern society or we will be left behind.
All kids at school are computer literate, with the rest of the population following fast.
Over 50s are one of the fastest groups that are jumping on the computer bandwagon.
We must embrace things like ePetition/ modern technology.
Hi,
woopy – subsequent to my last posting I have been sent a copy of a letter I have been awaiting for some days – AGAIN we have The Independent MEP Nikki Sinclaire to thank for this:
This means that her petition of over 100,000 signatures as announced and surprisingly widely published, in view of the fact her schedule was committed to announcement from Smith Square slap bang the day after the civil unrest when all the looters in suits were mumbling and squeeeeeling at the thought of competition from the proles.
This letter solves all problems as it can thus be an ‘e’petition on the .gov site AND a paper addition.
With Parliament resitting watch out for the presentation of the petition shortly and on a totally cross party basis.
I believe we all owe Nikki Sinclaire for her efforts – have you signed her petition? It can be signed on line OR on paper as the letter above shows – in fact her office is transposing all ePetition data onto paper and I gather an outside agency is erradicating duplicates and collating the data under strict data protection terms.
This letter now to hand I hear that Thursday will be likely to be the next ratchet turn 😉
Obviously the YouGov Poll was hugely significant and now the aim is to go on to yet more signatures to ensure no one tries to duck out on the Government benches when a Referendum becomes inevitable now, especially as well over 70% of Tory voters want a referendum on In/Out with regard to the EU, and embarrassingly the Judas Goats approved by the Tories as Plastic EUrosceptics with their other ‘PLEDGE’ Polls have rather lost control with, I gather, less than 50,000 signatures and I am given to understand some 30,000 of those are merely recycled and laundered Democracy Movement signatures though this is I concede hear say from the previous referendum that was given them!
Interestingly I gather on various technicalities The Express signatures are invalid as the poll was not carried out properly, or so I hear. However I doubt Mr. Despond will be giving praise to Nikki as we all know she is not a pornographers lap dog and seeks only relevant and serious publicity – hence her achievements.
She can in all fairness now say she has actually achieved, laterly with Mike Nattrass & Trevor Colman once they left Farage’s control and thus The EFD, they have achieved more in real terms than UKIP has done in all its 18 years of self enrichment and posturing for its leadership!
At least every single signature on Sinclaire’s Petition is genuine and her ad vans etc. have paid off – even if she is hoping for donations to help her fund them!!!
See her site CLICK HERE and sign up to the future 😉
Thanks.
