I presume Sue Ransome is the Tesco cashier who became the crooked Ukip MEP Derek Clark’s secretary! She is the wife of Ron Ransome the taxi driver who lost his license as a result of drunk driving and was also working for Derek Clark as his Ukip Regional Organiser

It was he, you may remember, whilst working as Derek Clark’s bully boy who became so exasperated at the behaviour of Ian Gilman that he threw a pencil at him and has ever since been portrayed by Gilman as seemingly having attempted GBH!

Boston borough councillor Sue Ransome has stood down as leader of the UKIP party.

Mrs Ransome, who was elected in the May elections and serves on the environment and performance committee, planning committee, Boston town area committee (BTAC), and the internal councillors development group, stood down over a ‘disagreement over leadership style.”

But Mrs Ransome wants reassure people she has no plans to leave UKIP or stand down as a councillor.

She said: “Whilst there was a disagreement, my stance and views of UKIP are still the same and are as strong as they have been for 15 years.

“I am here to fight for the people of Boston.”

Councillor Jonathan Noble has stepped in as interim leader with a meeting be held on Friday evening to vote on the next leader.

Any interested members can be put forward and vote will be held.
