Hi,

I was pleased to see Thomas Alexander Fermor-Hesketh, 3rd Baron Hesketh, KBE, PC who at 61 now with his family seat in Northampton sold up he can clearly bring a great deal of experience of both success and failure to The EUroSceptic movement. Though whether he really intends to be associated with the vile extremists of EU politics in the racist, xenophobic, anti Jewish, anti homosexual Pan EU EFD Political group I do seriously question!

As a Catholic with his guilt laid on thick to the VERY pro EU Papacy one must wonder where his true loyalties lie – particularly since he was an Office holder in John Major’s sell out Government one is entitled to wonder! 

That his credentials as being opposed to membership of The EU may well be very genuine let us hope that he does not transpire as being as catastrophic for UKIP and as blatantly dishonest as Malcolm Lord Pearson; or as spoilt, petulant and childish as wee Willie Dartmouth – In fact Farage’s daliances with Peers have, largely due to his own lack of OQ and judgement as a leader, proved disasterous.

I applaud anyone deserting the Conservative Party for clearly as a party it has little interest in the actual meaning of ‘Unionist’.

Time will tell but as with the true fighters of The British Military in wartime clearly it may be best not to make chums of this man until his metal has been tested as we can all remember the catastrophy of recruiting David Bannerman, the outright folly of Lord Pearson and his chum the chump, the unseated, Lord Christopher Monkton not to mention any involvement with titles or so called CONverts.

I guess his future with UKIP will, like all others, be dependent on whether Farage sees him as a threat – which he will be if he expects probity, vision and a clear strategy on ethical basis.

PS: I am told the bike in the picture is a Hesketh Vortan – despite it looking rather ugly I gather someone is still making them – even perhaps Hesketh but I think not.
