Again and again they believe they are above the law and hold Britain and OUR Courts in contempt!

Hi,

further to my having posted the outcome of UKIP’s idiotic debacle in the Appeal Court this week – more details of which can be found at CLICK HERE – A perfectly rational question was asked of me, as posted below, to which I responded as shown:

Re: UKIP Lose Yet Again In The Courts!

It would seem that ex BNP member Hardy had not changed his ultra right wing views after all .
UKIP’s one fault here is taking the advice of the legal proffesion to appeal the case . Sometimes you have to walk away , even when you are in the right.

My Reply:

Hi,

if only that was the basic truth I would agree with you – It is not.

UKIP’s inept and corrupt leadership has, as so often before, chosen to invent its rules on the hoof – do read the full judgement which can be see at CLICK HERE UKIP seem to believe, in their ineptitude and mismanagement, that they can have different rules for different people and as a result they make utter fools of themselves.

We note ex Deputy Leader and Party Chairman David Bannerman has made the written statement that Farage incurs an annual legal bill of around £140,000 AFAIR.

Fortunately David Bannerman, a liar, cheat and low life has decamped to The Tories as I predicted 7 years ago!

I totally endorse any action to clean-up UKIP, as without it they are a part of the problem and no part of the solution.

Breaking the laws of the land and being found guilty on a serial basis is no example for ANY politician to set – That is NOT cleaning up the party that is further befouling it – just as having different rules at different times for different people and liars and cheats like Mick McGough, Stuart Agnew, Marta Andreasen Derek Clark and their ilk as members of their leadership team makes them look no more than foolish – hence they have less than 30 people in elected office out of some 19,500 seats available – after 18 years!

I entirely agree that The BNP is a vile and contemptible organisation and I believe UKIP should NOT encourage racists and the anti Jewish low lifes that gather around the BNP to join without a panel clearance (3 months of ill informed membership of the BNP and a denunciation may well be a Patriot looking for a home rather than a Nationalist!). Be minded that Nigel Farage, as effectively THE PARTY, employed a BNP member as an election agent!

Do remember Nigel Farage who makes all the rules with a claque of chosen sycophants and boot lickers invited his family friend Buster Mottram to join UKIP against advice!

You may remember the outrageous comments of Nigel Farage’s puppet Malcolm Pearson that were so offensive to Muslims.

You may well have noted that UKIP endorses the killing of North African immigrants as espoused by their partners in the EFD Group.

Indeed cleaning up UKIP to try to make them electable, by informed decent people, is long over due and if they are unwilling to act with morality and ethically, show vision, display strategy, effect tactics and devise an exit and survival strategy after 18 years then PERHAPS they are working for The EU, rather than for withdrawal, as they have astonishingly NEVER had training sessions, an organisational structure or one wit of professionalism – do they assist The EU on purpose?

It has proved hugely rewarding for a small claque who feed at the troughs on the gravy train!

Regards,
Greg_L-W.

Nikki SINCLAIRE MEP ex UKIP has yet again set the standard for UKIP to follow!!

.

~~~~~~~~~~#########~~~~~~~~~~
.
Hi,
Not only was I quite impressed with the fact that Nikki Sinclaire MEP is not only working hard for her constituents in The EU to extricate Britain from that failed experiment but also on local and national issues
On Friday she was driving this van around central Birmingham after a busy week in Brussels as the charade was closing for its long summer holidays with its failures piling high and the hope they will be self liquidating as clearly The EU has made a complete hash of almost everything it touches.
It is hard to identify a single project The EU could claim was a success that justified its costs, damage and downside risks – Not One!
I gather having bought the van last week she has been the only person insured to drive it as yet but that has not dettered her from investing a further +-£200 a side having her ads printed and driving several 100 miles including in and around Birmingham.
This is a great way to publicise her efforts and local issues:
I gather it will be re-badged shortly to promote The National Campaign Petition for a Referendum, which I gather from The BBC will easily top its initial target of 100,000 signatures – particularly in view of the fact that one generous donor funded adverts in The Telegraph and donations from other supporters have also helped.
I’m sure anyone wishing to sponsor the change of advert on either side of the van or both would be most welcome so do contact her office – Just follow the web site advertised on the van to contact her.
Nikki Sinclaire is possibly the only UKIP MEP to have realised that it doesn’t matter one wit howmany leaflets you put out or speeches you make or appearances in the media – the interested activists who will support you in the long run turn to Google and your web site to check you out and here Nikki Sinclaire has the edge with a clear and uptodate web presence with clear transparency of her accounting:
By the way the EU accounts haven’t been passed by the auditors for 16 years.
I do admit I found parts of it difficult to follow but I freely admit I am no bean counter and have always hired them to be bored as I tend to take my shoes and socks off for numbers over 10!
An FS friend of mine had a look through them for me and said they were quite impressive but I still think an idiots guide would help 😉 – well it would help arithmetic idiots like me who see bean counting as history for nerds! – If you need a monkey hire one it sure beats the tedium of cracking peanuts!
I note Birmingham City Council, annoyed with Nikki Sinclaire’s opposition to their pet scam and efforts at empire building would seem to have decided to use a helicopter gun ship platform hidden in a Chinook to gun down Squadron Leader Nikki Sinclaire MEP & her HS2 ad van whilst it was outside their offices!
I must say I always believed that Ashley Mote’s purchase of a Dennis single decker Bus was a great move as both an advertisement for the Leave-The-EU cause and as a constituency office – Nikki, if she can get enough help is heading to a small fleet of advertising vehicles to promote the Petition and other campaigns to Get Britain Back as a free democratic Nation with Justice, Border controls and self determination.
The more people who help and support her whether with time or cash I am sure it will pay off for us all – look what she has achieved so far since she was liberated from the constraints of a PEPP and the corrupt racist and anti Jewish EFD Farage befouled UKIP with for his personal gain it would seem!
Consider for a moment the record of donations and expenditure for UKIP as declared by Nigel Farage and then look at Nikki Sinclaire’s outgoings as declare in public and you can only be impressed as it does look as if Sinclaire has donated more to the cause since she was elected as an MEP than he has donated in all of the time Farage has been in UKIP!
I believe yet again UKIP are ONTO A LOSER IN COURT!
They are happy to duck dive lie and defame to use members’ money to dishonestly renege on their moral duty to pay their bills with integrity!
I wonder if they would be so free with legal costs if it came out of their pockets but as was recently published by a UKIP MEP £140,000 of legal costs is not considered significant – well it wouldn’t be it is from other peoples pockets!
VERDICT ADDED
Hi,
I gather we may well see a verdict to my posting made a week or so ago which I have posted as a repeat below to remind you.
The case came to Court yesterday so we may well have a verdict later today:
#0588* – UKIP ONTO A LOSER IN COURT YET AGAIN
#0588* – UKIP ONTO A LOSER IN COURT YET AGAIN
.
Win, Draw or Lose The Members Will Again Be The Losers!
Just as UKIP’s failure to honour the British Courts and their verdict to pay me the £12.1/2K has done nothing but show them for the dishonest, corrupt incompetents that they are!
.
~~~~~~~~~~#########~~~~~~~~~~

.
Hi,

so yet again UKIP will be in Court squandering members’ money or has some gullible fool put up the £30 – £40 – £50,000 it will take to yet again learn their lesson!

Time and again UKIP finds itself in Court and rarely it seems do they win – each time costing members money and almost without fail garnering bad publicity.

Many will have heard how UKIP set out to harass me and not only did they lose their case but they have failed to honour their debt resultant which runs to something over £12.1/2K – UKIP lack even the integrity to settle that moral debt and have utterly ignored the British Courts whom they clearly hold in contempt having on various occasions sheltered behind The EUropean Courts and employment in EUrope to seek to duck their responsibilities or hide their fundamental corruption.

This time rather than honour the Court Judgement and pay compensation of £750 reinstating a member who they had accepted in full knowledge of his background and fully approved by Nigel Farage – now we see them gambling with other peoples’ money when they KNOW that their costs will far exceed the £750 the Court ordered them to pay.

UKIP whether it wins, draws or loses will be 10s of £1,000s of pounds out of pocket.

It may be worth their while reading Marta Andreasen’s call for removal of Farage as leader once again and in detail!

Subject: GENERAL NEWS
Date: Mon, 11 Jul 2011 12:18:20 +0100

Hello everyone,

I’m sure most, if not all of you know, that I obtained judgment in the High Court last year against not only the local chairman of the political party of which I am a member, but also the party itself.

The defendant’s did not like that and appealed. The appeal is to be heard next week in the Court of Appeal in London. As at the original hearing, I shall be representing myself. And, as a condition of the appeal, the other side will not be able to claim costs against me even if they win – and I’ll see to it they don’t! They also have a new barrister on the job; it appears the original one left his chambers for pastures new some time after the hearing last September. I can’t understand why. Perhaps losing against a layman was more than his professional constitution could bear. But that’s his problem. Anyway it’ll be yours truly up before the ‘big beaks’ next week!

I’ve been on something of a weight loss/fitness programme these past six weeks. I’ve lost a total of 16 lbs, which I suppose is fairly good going. Over the last few weeks, however, this has plateau’d to a loss of 1 lb per week, which I came to find discouraging, especially after all the effort it takes. It reached the point where, on Saturday night just gone – I weigh myself each Saturday morning – I resolved to give it up as a bad job and go back to being a fat slob again.

The next morning I woke up and, having drunk my first coffee of the day, went off to buy a copy of the last edition of the News of the World. Now I haven’t bought a copy of that newspaper for YEARS, but as it was the last opportunity to do so I thought I’d see what it had to offer.

I had a good look through it. The glossy supplement didn’t have much of interest to men, apart from a lovely picture of the luminously beautiful Thandie Newton near the front. There was the obligatory crossword near the end and on the opposite page were the star forecasts for the week. Now my star sign is Leo, so I had a look at what the resident clairvoyant had to say. It was this (and you can check on it):

“YOU HAVE THE WILLPOWER TO START, OR RESTART, A FITNESS PLAN AND ENSURE IT WORKS”

Mystic Meg saves the day.

BYE FOR NOW

ALAN

How can such folly backing a sure financial loser be of ANY merit to Farage or UKIP or least of all its members and credibility.

Is this how UKIP sees itself acting were it ever to gain power in any context of consequence not merely Mare for a village in Cambridgeshire!

Hello everyone,

Well, UKIP’s barrister – fine man that he is – argued and argued yesterday in Court 74, Court of Appeal…unsuccessfully. It’s now official: those within UKIP who are so inclined cannot do what they like; they are bound by the law like the rest of us.

Nigel Farage turned up, accompanied by a lady of, shall I say, ample bosom, who I took to be some form of assistant. He disappeared before the proceedings commenced, without having even acknowledged me. She, however, remained and I saw her and Parkin, who was also there, cosying up to one another behind me in the court room. There was also a short, very fat, grey-beared man hovering around the place, clearly as part of the opposing side’s team. Does anyone recognise the description?

Anyway, that’s it in a nutshell. Where they are planning on going from hereon is anyone’s guess. Oh, I almost forgot, when the barrister, the wheelchair-bound Mr Engelman (Trinity Chambers), was asked about the costs he quoted a figure of £16,000 in total. Somehow I find myself doubting that…

ALL GOOD WISHES

ALAN HARDY

So let us consider:

Well, UKIP’s barrister – fine man that he is – argued and argued yesterday in Court 74, Court of Appeal…unsuccessfully. It’s now official: those within UKIP who are so inclined cannot do what they like; they are bound by the law like the rest of us.

How could a qualified barrister suggest his client takes such a case when from the facts in the public domain UKIP was clearly guilty AND surely the fact that they had already been found guilty was more than something of an indication and the fact they had to lodge acceptance of the full costs of both parties even if they had by some miracle won would have made a very hollow reversal which The Courts most clearly indicated was unlikely.

Nigel Farage turned up,

One has to wonder why Nigel Farage would turn up to such a minor case where any kind of victory would save UKIP £750 yet cost them very many £1,000s.
One could be forgiven for wondering if his escort and a weekend away was the motivation!

Could it possibly be that he had employed a salaried member of staff in the role or is she posiibly to be paid for her ‘services’ via her so called PR Agency and self publicist skills!

accompanied by a lady of, shall I say, ample bosom, who I took to be some form of assistant.

He disappeared before the proceedings commenced, without having even acknowledged me.

Hardly surprising as he must have had the intelligence to realise UKIP were unlikely to win and even if they did it would cost the membership fees of at least 1,000 members and most probably nearer 2,000 members – hardly a sound investment by a competent leader!

Little wonder that he slunk off to await the verdict beyond public view – I would speculate he was more than adequately filled in later in the day by his assistant.

She, however, remained and I saw her and Parkin, who was also there, cosying up to one another behind me in the court room. There was also a short, very fat, grey-beared man hovering around the place, clearly as part of the opposing side’s team. Does anyone recognise the description?

This could easily be a description of Mick McGough who is omni present licking any boots that may enhance his inadequacy he is ever willing to lie, cheat and dissemble in his own interest or it seems that of his owners.

However it seems more likely to have been Michael Greaves who pretends to some legal experience in the distant past – Though the last record I can find would seem to indicate he was  fired as Councel some 10 or more years ago, for abrogation of his duties and professional responsibilities.

Anyway, that’s it in a nutshell. Where they are planning on going from hereon is anyone’s guess. Oh, I almost forgot, when the barrister, the wheelchair-bound Mr Engelman (Trinity Chambers),

See his URL CLICK HERE

was asked about the costs he quoted a figure of £16,000 in total. Somehow I find myself doubting that…

It does sound unlikely however it may well have meant his own fees.

One can only consider UKIP Leadership in their stupidity as having been ill advised to act so irresponsibly but perhaps the motivation was more influence from Nigel Farage’s point of vie by the interests of his assistant than by any measure of common sense or responsible adult behaviour!

~UN-PROFESSIONAL RESPONSES DEMEAN UKIP!
Alan Hardy’s comments serve him ill but he is merely a member!
It does seem when Steve Crowther, Steve Allison or any of the other buffoons speaks out they damage the party credibility!!
.
Hi,

one has to wonder whose ‘e’Mails are the more damaging to the cause they ‘claim’ to espouse.

I would submit that Steve Allisons are the more consequential as they are so clearly anti UKIP’s best interests.

So let us see what they have to say for themselves:

Firstly I would contend that Alan Hardy’s comments were far from wise when he stated:

Dear Sirs,

Courtesy of the Court of Appeal: those within UKIP who feel so inclined CANNOT do as they please, they are bound by the law as are the rest of society. And I may add that UKIP faces further legal action unless the decision not to allow former members of the BNP to stand as candidates for the party, as well as for internal posts, is reversed. Indeed I would like to see written evidence that it even exists.

Take note all of you, especially Mr. Farage.

ALAN HARDY
successful litigant.

Clearly one can empathise with Alan Hardy and just as Nigel Farage must have realised he had exposed UKIP to a hiding for nothing and a bill in the region of £30-50K. That  Farage left hurriedly from The Appeal Courts in The Strand it ill becomes Alan Hardy to crow over so obvious a victory.

Perhaps Farage would have served the party better had he read the original judgement which I have posted in full – see The Right Sidebar & click on Alan Hardy etc.

You will note the judgement draws attention to the fact that The BNP issue was clearly no more than a fig leaf etc.

To seek to uphold the fundamentals of basic law is now branded by some of UKIP’s enemies  as being ‘anti UKIP’.

Surely no one would deny UKIP the right to enact into their Constitution, Rules or Manifesto the resolution to prevent past members of The BNP from joining UKIP, on some grounds or other but clearly not on the grounds of Racism, anti Judaism, anti homosexuality or opposition to immigrants as UKIP’s parners in The EU The EFD are not only pro EU membership but have advocated killing Immigrants from North Africa, are avowedly Racist espousing segregation on public transport etc., anti Homosexual advocating dressing them as rabbits and shooting them and include Holocaust Deniers.

That UKIP welcomes membership of such a group yet seeks to ban ex members of The BNP from joining makes their claimed ruling look a little foolish and more a petty rivalry than a point of principle sadly.

That UKIP has a track record of involvement with The BNP members and before them The National Front is indisputable. It is also worth reminding people of UKIP’s own extremist past with the vetting of members by the criminal Gerry Gable via the equally dishonest Mark Croucher and false accusations of membership and association with The BNP.

That Alan Hardy sent his ‘e’Mail makes it look as if he is fronting efforts at bringing in BNP members which I doubt he would be so foolish as to espouse but we may well find his ‘e’Mail is little more than a venting of his anger at the dishonesty of UKIP as he has, I am given to understand, written confirmation from Nigel Farage that he had informed UKIP of his past membership of The BNP and Farage accepted him as a UKIP member specifically.

I still contend Alan Hardy’s ‘e’Mail was unwise whether he wishes to drift out of UKIP seeing them as a spent force or continue his active membership. He has also undermined his own credibility should he be serious in his bluster about further legal action.

I would contend Alan Hardy has harmed his own position but done little harm to UKIP save in costs, which are a mere bagatelle relative to the £Millions Farage has personally made from his position in UKIP.

Let us see if you think Steve Allison’s comments are any more professional or are they effectively anti UKIP in the manner that they damage the party and its credibility since he speaks as an executive of the party, unlike Alan Hardy who is merely an ex member of The BNP who is in dispute with UKIP over his membership status!

You may have heard that UKIP lost its appeal in court today against the re-admittance to membership of a Mr.Alan Hardy. This is being spun by certain anti-UKIP Blogs and Websites as a defeat for UKIP and touted an example of how Nigel has been wasting UKIP’s money on personal legal vendettas.

I do not think anyone who knows me would accuse me of being a Nigel Sycophant or someone who believes Nigel can do no wrong, However, in this case I am definitely 100% behind Nigel. Alan Hardy is a former member of the BNP and his case is AT THE MOMENT limited to him. However, I believe that he is being used as a Trojan Horse to force UKIP to accept BNP Members into out ranks and worse. I copy below an e-mail that Hardy sent after the Appeal Court Ruling.

UKIP has to fight this man to the bitter end! We have all worked too hard to destroy the myth that UKIP and the BNP are in any way alike, we must keep out the BNP, this is a fight we cannot afford to lose.

Steve Allison

Let us consider this in some detail:

You may have heard that UKIP lost its appeal in court today against the re-admittance to membership of a Mr.Alan Hardy.

The Court’s ruled that Alan Hardy could not be barred from the party on the grounds given in the light of the facts – may I suggest that those who have UKIP’s long term wellbeing at heart and genuinely support UKIP take the trouble to read the judgement and it becomes clear why The Courts not only found in favour of Alan Hardy but that the original judgement was upheld by The Appeal Courts in The Strand.

This is being spun by certain anti-UKIP Blogs and Websites as a defeat for UKIP and touted an example of how Nigel has been wasting UKIP’s money on personal legal vendettas.

How else could any honest individual see this? I can not speak for anti UKIP blogs as i rarely read them  and then only by accident – sadly the blogs UKIP controls do more than enough damage to UKIP!

Clearly no one is likely to take UKIP seriously as a part of the law making process when it is so clearly in abuse of the law itself and something of a vexatious litigant!

Those who actively seek to support UKIP seek to clean-up the party not provide costly cover for its dishonest executive!

I do not think anyone who knows me would accuse me of being a Nigel Sycophant or someone who believes Nigel can do no wrong,

Perhaps you could show where Steve Allison has intentionally spoken out to clean-up UKIP and make it electable other than in his personal interest!

However, in this case I am definitely 100% behind Nigel.

Steve Allison pretends to balance yet promptly defends Nigel Farage’s ineptitude thereby showing a clear lack of judgement on his own part.

Alan Hardy is a former member of the BNP and his case is AT THE MOMENT limited to him.

Indeed it is and also to the irrefutable fact that UKIP leadership was aware of his past BNP affiliations and actively promoted or at least condoned his membership granting him not only membership of UKIP but as I recall a branch membership status!

However, I believe that he is being used as a Trojan Horse to force UKIP to accept BNP Members into out ranks and worse.

Were that the case do not forget it was Nigel Farage who threw open the gates of Troy and on precedent alone made the entry of The Trojan Horse possible to mix our poets it may be apposite to some to see the engineer hoist on his own petard but I as a supporter of UKIP over many years would like Laocoön caution as so aptly did Virgil with his notable line “Timeo Danaos et dona ferentes”

I copy below an e-mail that Hardy sent after the Appeal Court Ruling.

As per the mailing I received previously and have posted above.

UKIP has to fight this man to the bitter end!

A wise General selects his ground and also his time for battle where an inept fool charges in and looses as have UKIP – Indeed the end will be bitter. You may yet find that in making much of this issue UKIP may yet throw open the gates and stand bereft of clothing for a battle – however aware of the ineptitude of Alan Hardy’s message were it I seeking the well being of UKIP I would act with good grace and grant his membership as the Courts have legally shown in HIS CASE there were no legal grounds used in his removal.

Thereby no precedent will be set and the Trojan Horse can stand at the side of the road to the castle until it is shown to be of no use in smuggling the troops of the claimed enemy into the camp.

We have all worked too hard to destroy the myth that UKIP and the BNP are in any way alike, we must keep out the BNP, this is a fight we cannot afford to lose.

This of course is no more than self serving spin and clearly twaddle when you consider UKIP’s fellowship with ex NF members and the use it has made of ex BNP members – that it is clearly twaddle is shown by UKIP’s associates in The EU – merely BNP with funny accents!!

Steve Allison

Were it I seeking to serve UKIP I would not be wasting members’ money nor undermining UKIP’s credibility but as a long term supporter I would be considering the long term and to that end I would call an immediate NEC meeting. I would enact a rule empowering a sub committee of people seen as honest and of probity from within UKIP which would by deffinition preclude members of The NEC and leadership claque and I would empower them to review every member, starting from the top and reserve the right to refund the membership of any member who fulfilled certaimn criteria in terms of past memberships and Criminal Records.

One would have to take care as to how this was worded as it could well preclude individuals like Derek clark, Nigel Farage, Jeffrey Titford, Graham Booth and the like from membership as they have all fallen foul of the law I understand and have had to repay monies they fraudulently obtained or dishonestly used. I understand we are yet to hear the outcome of the case against Stuart Agnew and that against David Bannerman though I gather Mike Nattrass has withdrawn his claim against The Sunday Times and they are to publish an update that subsequent to their earlier article OLAF have decided to take no further action against Mike Nattrass.

In the matter of cleaning up UKIP the party would be well served were it to put before the committee as constituted such individuals as Annabelle Fuller, Mick McGough, Douglas Denny, Andrew Smith, Hugh Williams and others who through their fantasies and dishonesty have corrupted UKIP and demeaned its reputation as a credible political force.

I wonder what the anti UKIP bloggers that Steve Allison seems to follow will make of dealing with the truth and on what leg they would seek to stand if UKIP were cleaned-up and presented a credible professional stance with vision, strategy, tactics a plan – training and a structure that would make them presentable to the informed electorate and encourage activists to rejoin with probity and transparency.

Until that time UKIP defames itself daily on its own controlled blogs such that one wonders what an anti UKIP blog would find to write about – though Steve Alison has made a pretty fair fist of showing us by example.

As a supporter I am all too well aware that unless UKIP makes these moves towards professionalising they are increasingly a part of the problem when it comes to leaving The EU and have no place in the solution.

Richard North had the measure of her long ago – as did many of us as we watched her exploitative blog/press grow on the backs of her contributors to a size that made it saleable for around 100 Million!

Huff-pus – by Richard… Wednesday, April 13, 2011

“Bloggers take legal action over Huffington Post sale”, says The Guardian. Arianna Huffington faces a $105m lawsuit from unpaid contributors over her sale of the Huffington Post to AOL. She claims she was just providing a platform for them to air their views.

So, rabid left-wing bloggers try to stuff vapid left-wing thingemy. As the man says (men actually), what’s there not to like? The “progressive community” was never anything but a three-card monte hustle. The only requirement for membership was sufficient naïvete to believe that your volunteer efforts accomplish anything other than enhancing the wealth, power and status of your so-called “leaders”.

That’s telling ’em!

You may have noticed Mrs. Dale’s Diary has recently been extended to seek to do the same now that it would seem clear no one will ever select him as a PPC let alone the Tories!

Is ANYONE listening to Doughy Radio?

Ever the opportunist and self publicist one must congratulate Nigel Farage for using UKIP for his publicity as their credibility slides quietly into the gutter with its racist, anti Jewish chums in its PEPP Group as The EFD who openly advocated killing North African immigrants without a murmur of censure from Farage but a voluble defence by one of his muppets!

Little wonder that having started with 13 MEPs in UKIP 5 so far have opted to distance themselves from his ineptitude and divisive inability to lead which has seen UKIP slide from approaching 30,000 members to a claimed 15,000 though in real terms around 8-10,000 who are sentient informed and paid up members it would seem.

Though Ms. Huffington will no doubt reward his office with such publicity as his ego requires but one must wonder to what extent it may benefit UKIP or even more importantly these United Kingdoms where it is clear his policy of populism at the expense of principle has in the main proved catastrophic.

Regards,
Greg_L-W.

UKIP ‘Again A Matter of Trust’ – Graham Gillis,
considering PEPPs, Money & UKIP MEPs!!

Quote from: Graham Gillis on Today at 14:07:26

If UKIP win the majority of MEP’s,
the majority of UKIP’s British MEP’s will refuse to take their seats at the EU.

Again a matter of trust.

Hi,

since you mention ‘a matter of trust’ please explain why you are presenting this statement as if it was fact – perhaps you can show where in UKIP’s Constitution or in its Manifesto or in a recent speech or written in an approved form authorised by Nigel Farage that such a policy is hinted at let alone stated.

Where and on what grounds do you believe there is justification for the dellusion that UKIP might earn 27 MEPs when it currently has only 8 responding to the leader and of those just who would you be prepared to advocate as competent, ethical or trustworthy who is making any mark whatsoever that is beneficial to these United Kingdoms commensurate with their bloated incomes and future EU Bribes?

Was it for trying to misrepresent UKIP with such comments that led to you being moderated off of UKIP Members Forum and also The BDF UKIP controlled Forum – though I long since ceased regularly reading your input on those forums – for the very reason that they were unsound, unsubstantiated and unsustainable in policy or political pragmatism.

May I remind you that UKIP’s leadership, incompetent and venal as it is, not only participates in EU funding at any opportunity but uses little of the money to fund UKIP, though I concede some of the MEP do make donations to get themselves back on the gravy train.

Perhaps just for amusement you could identify any UKIP MEPs who have made donations to the party (not in direct self interest to their region to be re-elected) during any ONE electoral period that matches or exceeds their income in a single year from their pension for the rest of their lives – income for them year in year out.

Perhaps you could show the donations made by Jeffrey Titford, Michael Holmes, Graham Booth or Roger Knapman since they commenced drawing their pensions – likewise those employees who are now on pensions who have vanished into their natural obscurity.

UKIP MEPs are spectacularly reticent about transparency, probity or obfuscated publication of their accounts.

Does ANYONE believe UKIP would see the money they garner if the betray the party & Britain by aiding The EU in forming PEPPs (for fuller details CLICK HERE) – As at now after many years UKIP has never published either a full list of staff (hence such as Annabelle Fuller are funded for personal services that all too often befoul UKIP), nor a full accounting of the 400 Budget formerly the 4000 budget.

Indeed ‘Again a matter of trust’ and there is absolutely no justification for trusting UKIP MEPs as the Police, the Prison Services, The Electoral Commission, OLAF and the media have all proved. So also have the Courts and various of the more ethical UKIP MEPs and likewise the many well known members and backers who have moved on in disgust CLICK HERE.

UKIP don’t even respect the British Courts sufficiently to honour their legal debts! Let alone their moral debts and liabilities!

Regards,
Greg_L-W.

One has to wonder why Steve Allison did not listen to those who knew he would just be used and damage what reputation he had, if he tried to find his way onto The UKIP MEP lists via The NEC!

Clearly he is starting to realise!

Hi,

there WILL be additional comments on this posting when I get a chance but to be going on with the liar, fantasist and discreditted fool Douglas Denny has been posturing on UKIP Members’ forum but I can’t be bothered cut and pasting his desperate efforts to seem credible – However he is threatening to post on the other UKIP controlled blog owned by the corrupt and incipid little dweeb Anthony Butcher who is always willing to host any vituperative dishonesty UKIP require posted.

UKIP: Steve Allison on the NEC

A most interesting report!
Which is published verbatim below and below that is parsed by both Junius and I:

Subject: NEC DIGEST – July 2011

DISCLAIMER : You are receiving this e-mail as you have indicated in the past that you would like to be kept informed of my activities as a member of UKIP’s NEC. If you don’t wish to receive these e-mails please reply with “STOP” in the e-mail subject area. These observations are my personal comments and are not an official record of the NEC Meeting. A formal report and the summary minutes will eventually appear on UKIP’s Website. However, I am a great believer in transparency and so write this e-mail in that spirit but I do self censor these digests based on the following guidelines for deciding if something needs to be considered confidential. Regardless of how open I may wish to be I am not going to publish things that could cause problems later on.
1. Information relating to on-going or potential legal action; 2. Information of a personal nature relating to an individual; 3. Commercially sensitive information; 4. Information which could be considered privileged (eg advice of a solicitor or an accountant); 5. Information which could be used to disadvantage the party.

Hi,

everyone, sorry this digest is a little late but I just couldn’t summon up enthusiasm to type up my notes on the way home on Monday night. I put this down to the pint and a half I had in the Sherlock Homes before getting on the train and I have been very busy with my real life (visiting clients and earning money) since Monday. To be honest nothing of any great importance was discussed at the NEC, which is about par for the course. No papers were distributed in advance of the NEC so once again it was try to listen, read, understand and then make some useful input on the hoof. I personally am just not mentally nimble enough to do this. I am considering sending my apologies to the next NEC when no papers are circulated in advance since that will obviously mean nothing of any importance is on the agenda.

The main NEC was preceded by another Constitution Review Working Party. The draft of the constitution was at least circulated on the Friday so we had an opportunity to scan through it in advance. Unfortunately I didn’t really get the opportunity to do more than scan and so struggled to absorb and understand 18 pages of “notwithstanding” and “aforementioned clauses excepted” and other legal gobbledegook. The review meeting managed to get about half way through the third draft before it ran out of time.

There was some discussion over a clause that defined the NEC as the party’s Board of Directors and, after the Leader, the party’s principal authority. The “after the leader” was vigorously contested by several of the working party and the agreement reached was that the NEC had to have final authority on all admin and financial matters and The leader would participate in these discussions as an equal member of the NEC. The NEC was also keen to maintain final authority over the party manifesto, but accepted in principle that the leader was responsible for the political direction of the party. This actually came up in the main NEC after lunch when the Welsh Assembly Elections were discussed. (More on this later).

The main NEC kicked off with apologies for absence. Michael Zuckerman was not present but it was explained that he considered his term of office expired in March and as he was not seeking re-election, he would not be attending any more NEC Meetings. Rachel Oxley was also absent but as the Chairman announced her resignation from the NEC it was not a surprise she was not at the meeting. The NEC wished both Michael and Rachel the best for the future and expressed their thanks for their service to the party. Rachel’s resignation means that there will be six vacancies on the NEC for election in September, not five as stated in the Independence News. Nominations open for the NEC next week and close in August. The candidates will get an opportunity to speak at the Conference and the vote will be by postal ballot after that.

Minutes of the last meeting went through more or less on the nod. I missed the last meeting so I could not really comment.

Under matters arising, I gave a report on the Pan European Parties debate. The ballot papers have been printed and the fulfilment house is making up the packs this week. Ballots will be despatched to the members starting from Monday 18th July and votes need to be returned by 15th August.

The cost of preparing for the ballot has been £4,685.00 (based on an eligible voting membership of 15,519). The costs of actually receiving back and counting the returned ballots depends totally on the turn out. If we get one vote back then it will have cost £5,385.31 for that member to have his (or her) say. If we get 100% turn out then it will have cost £10,195.81 for the ballot. The actual amount will be somewhere between the two extremes!

Steve Crowther pointed out that the result of the ballot would be binding on all MEPs. Either all would join a P-EP or none would join. Gerard Batten, attending the NEC as one of the MEP Representatives (the other this time was Paul Nuttall) pointed out he would not join a P-EP that did not have a commitment to withdrawal in its articles. Currently there is no P-EP that has such a commitment. It may be that in the event of a “YES” vote in the ballot then UKIP would need to set up its own P-EP in order to have such a commitment enshrined in the P-EP’s constitution.

Doug Denny then gave a brief report on Double nomination. This is sometghing I have been trying to push for a while and the NEC accepted the proposal to co-operate formally with residents’ associations and local independents using the “dual candidate” route now available to registered political parties (NB Registered parties NOT individuals). If for example an organisation called “Hartlepool Independents” or “Hartlepool Residents” was registered with the Electoral Commission then UKIP could reach an agreement to field joint candidates. The ballot paper could say “Hartlepool Independent and UKIP Candidate” or “Hartlepool Residents and UK Independence Party Candidate” It costs £250 to register a political party and I’ve suggested to my branch committee that it might be a good move politically to get “Hartlepool Independents” or “Hartlepool Residents” registered and under our control. We could then maybe attract people to stand next May who are not going to join UKIP but who would like to join an “Independent” or “Residents” Party. At the very least, we should consider registering these names to deny them to others!

Nigel gave his leaders report. As per usual, nothing had been circulated in advance. Basically, all’s well with the world and things are going great. The Patrons’ Club continues to expand and the dinner that night was oversubscribed.

Chairman’s report covered the London Elections. Ten Candidates have declared for Mayor and an on-line “primary” is to be held. The names were not mentioned but I assume the London Committee are on top of this? Annual Conference in Eastbourne was mentioned. Nothing new really here apart from a suggestion that the EFD Group might use some of their budget to sponsor at least part of the conference. It was also pointed out that each individual MEP could use their allowances to have a stand at the conference show casing the work they do in their region.

A good idea really and one that would legitimately put EU/MEP money into the conference. Interesting to see how many MEPs take up this suggestion?

A new recruitment brochure was flashed in front of the NEC. This has been sent to the Regional Organisers for comment. It was not passed round to the NEC.

Legal matters was its usual depressing report. Least said about it the better

Finance showed we were in the red but not badly so. The cash flow looked worse than it was because all the costs for the conference were known but ticket sales had not yet started so that was making the situation look worse than it really was. The Deputy Treasure explained in his report that this was because the outgoings on the conference were definite items of expenditure we would be making but ticket sales were only a possible income we might be getting. So, prudence said we had to assume we wouldn’t sell any tickets until the money actually started to come in.

Jonathan Arnott has taken over the management of the introduction of the new membership database. He has only been doing this for a couple of weeks so is still getting to grips with the brief. I would have liked some form of written report and hopefully this will eventually be forthcoming. However, I’m not holding my breath!

John Bufton and David Bevan then addressed the NEC. The discussion was a little side tracked by a discussion on whether Wales had a regional organiser and if a dedicated campaign office was essential, (my view on that one is NO it isn’t. UKIP spent £50,000 on a “Campaign Office” for the 2009 European Parliament Elections and any value for money analysis would, in my opinion, have concluded it was not money well spent.).

The Welsh discussion then further meandered off the point into a quite interesting exchange of views on UKIP’s position on an English Parliament. Ultimately, the Welsh Question could not be totally lost and the answer was that policy was indeed changed at the last minute and without reference to the Welsh Committee or indeed to the NEC.

The long-standing policy of abolish the Welsh Assembly was changed to one that, in my opinion, fudged the issue to adopt a more populist line which produced a basically reformist position rather than the clear cut abolish. This was justified on the grounds that a majority of those people who bothered to vote supported more powers for the assembly at the referendum which was held just a few days before the elections. UKIP therefore had no choice but to drop the abolish the assembly policy!

This decision was taken by Nigel. As the UKIP Party Constitution currently stands he was totally within his rights and exercising powers he holds under the constitution. Indeed the Party Leader can adopt, amend or drop any policy he likes without any reference to anyone. He can consult IF he wishes to but is not obliged to take any notice of any advice he may receive. (This was the same reason UKIP supported AV. Nigel decided it was the way to go so that was UKIP’s policy!)

The Welsh Committee may indeed feel they had their legs chopped from under them and may feel that UKIP should be seeking to abolish the assembly rather than just reform it. Being a reform party does bring UKIP into line with every other party in Wales so are they all wrong? However, the bottom line is that UKIP Policy is set by Nigel. He decided a more populist reform policy was preferable to an uncompromising abolitionist policy. That is the prerogative of the UKIP Party Leader and there is nothing UKIP Wales can do about it. Of course, if chasing populist votes is the name of the game then every other party in Wales supports the EU. So maybe UKIP Wales needs to change from withdrawal from the EU to reform the EU?

There was some discussion on the MEPs code of conduct and the nine points it covered. Nothing really new was said. Basically the argument has now become circular and old ground is being re-hashed. The Code of Conduct signed by UKIP’s MEP Candidates is too weak and not enforceable. Stable doors and bolted horses come to mind. The lesson for next time needs to be learned and the document needs to clearly spell out what is expected.

The concept of “friends” groups was also discussed, as there is a request to recognise Hindu Friends of UKIP Group. As we have already recognised a UKIP Friends of Israel group, it makes it almost impossible to object to anyone who wants to attach the UKIP name to their own particular cause. Personally I would not officially recognise any “friends” groups as I consider them divisive and completely against UKIP’s supposed policy of not pandering to special interest groups. As it turn out the UKIP Friends of Israel have nearly a full page in the next issue of Independence News. Another dangerous precedent in my opinion. However, what do I know?

David Coburn made a brief presentation on why we should hold the 2012 spring conference in Gibraltar but as Steve Crowther informed the NEC that it was going to be in Skegness this made the whole discussion a bit pointless.

We were now running out of time. Nigel had already left to get ready for the Patrons’ Club pre-dinner drinks at 6.00pm and of course the important people on the NEC also needed to be getting over there promptly.

As usual, there was a lot of talk but very few or more accurately no real meaningful decisions taken. There is no NEC Meeting in August but I’m sure the Party will somehow manage to survive without our guiding hand. After all, if you look on page 18 of your Independence News you will see a comprehensive listing of “Who’s Who in UKIP” and the NEC is conspicuous by its absence!

As usual there were many things said that I have not covered but these are my high point recollections. There will be an official report by the Party Chairman posted on the Members forum in due course.

& Here it is parsed with comments:

Hi,

everyone, sorry this digest is a little late but I just couldn’t summon up enthusiasm to type up my notes on the way home on Monday night. I put this down to the pint and a half I had in the Sherlock Homes before getting on the train and I have been very busy with my real life (visiting clients and earning money) since Monday.

To be honest nothing of any great importance was discussed at the NEC, which is about par for the course.

G.L-W.:  I have been reporting in some detail on NEC meetings for many years and I agree this judgement – In fact so do UKIP leadership who have often told their members not to read my various blogs and ‘e’Mails as they are bunkum – well then clearly as they have NEVER managed to show a single dishonesty or inaccuracy one is forced to conclude the facts I provide which ARE without exception true show UKIP NEC just spout ‘bunkum’.

As Steve makes clear – ‘It was ever thus’.

No papers were distributed in advance of the NEC

G.L-W.: Obviously as that would require planning and also members are aware so I presume Steve is ‘no one on the NEC or in UKIP’s leadership and its parasites trust eachother’.

so once again it was try to listen, read, understand and then make some useful input on the hoof.

G.L-W.: Why when no one cares nor listens and Farage and his little claque make all the decisions anyway.

I personally am just not mentally nimble enough to do this. I am considering sending my apologies to the next NEC when no papers are circulated in advance since that will obviously mean nothing of any importance is on the agenda.

G.L-W.: Had you thought of actimng with integrity Steve and rsigning? That would at least not lend credibility to the corrupt scam; just as did Tony Scholfield, Nikki Sinclaire, Del Young, John Whittacker, Dr. Eric Edmonds, Richard Suchorzewski, Dr. David Abbott, Petrina Holdsworth, Linda Guest, Gill Chant, Roger Knapman, John de Rourke, Anthony Butcher, John Pratt, Gregg Beaman, Simon Muir, Peter Watson – all of whom and more are no longer willing to have their reputation befouled by association with elected office in UKIP.

For a fuller list CLICK HERE

The main NEC was preceded by another Constitution Review Working Party. The draft of the constitution was at least circulated on the Friday so we had an opportunity to scan through it in advance. Unfortunately I didn’t really get the opportunity to do more than scan and so struggled to absorb and understand 18 pages of “notwithstanding” and “aforementioned clauses excepted” and other legal gobbledegook.

G.L-W.: Clearly as crass and amateur as previous constitutions. No doubt a back door way of introducing the scams that were rejected by the members when last UKIP leadership and his parasites tried to dupe the members!

The review meeting managed to get about half way through the third draft before it ran out of time.

G.L-W.: So like previous constitutions it will be amateur and shoddy leaving UKIP facing the Courts yet more with a collection of unwinnable cases based on an as usual incompetent constitution – How many £100,000s will it cost in stupidity this time?

There was some discussion over a clause that defined the NEC as the party’s Board of Directors and, after the Leader, the party’s principal authority. The “after the leader” was vigorously contested by several of the working party and the agreement reached was that the NEC had to have final authority on all admin and financial matters and The leader would participate in these discussions as an equal member of the NEC.

G.L-W.: So the yes men will be lined up to bootlick as ever. That is how come the NEC is composed of mainly dross now – Just who amongst them would YOU put on the board of YOUR Company? Many have convictions as far as I can see and have been found to have defrauded the public purse and been ordered to repay money fraudullently obtained – Who on earth would trust these liars and pond life?

The NEC was also keen to maintain final authority over the party manifesto, but accepted in principle that the leader was responsible for the political direction of the party.

G.L-W.: UKIP NEC has no say as has been shown time and time again with the lies, distortions and fabrications of Farage on TV as an example – it seems he is only outshone as a liar by Annabelle Fuller and Mick McGough!

This actually came up in the main NEC after lunch when the Welsh Assembly Elections were discussed. (More on this later).

G.L-W.: Just as an aside to show the utter unprofessionalism of UKIP – The Devolved EU Assemblyfor Wales is risibly known as The Welsh Assembly Government or The National Assembly for Wales. For details of The Welsh Assembly CLICK HERE

The main NEC kicked off with apologies for absence. Michael Zuckerman was not present but it was explained that he considered his term of office expired in March and as he was not seeking re-election, he would not be attending any more NEC Meetings.

G.L-W.: This is normally called a resignation but he is right he Burton, Denny & Coburn all expired as members of The NEC in March though they may well have been officially extended as Yes Men for lack of a new crop.

Rachel Oxley was also absent but as the Chairman announced her resignation from the NEC it was not a surprise she was not at the meeting.

G.L-W.: Oxley’s resignation letter was published on this blog some time ago CLICK HERE

G.L-W.: Astonishingly for a group pretending to political aspirations there are barely enough legitimate elected NEC members to form a Quorum – thus yet again the Claque of co-optees and MEPs become Farage’s new dictatorship.

Such incompetence is hardly inspirationsl when one considers the catastrophic results from the last National Election and the farcical posturing of the Mare of Ramsey and the Party afterwards having achieved nothing of note after 18 years at a cost of £Millions!

Junius says: No wonder UKIP is in the red!

G.L-W.: What a dishonest debacle this most undeniably has been – a study in bad and incompetent leadership that has done yet more to split the party with liars and cheats like Stuart Agnew MEP, Mick McGough and the like fronting the scam for a PEPP backed up by the oleaginous Michael Greaves who would seem to be just another Tory failure of no merit but much p**s and wind – like so many before him in UKIP!

Steve Crowther pointed out that the result of the ballot would be binding on all MEPs. Either all would join a P-EP or none would join.

G.L-W.: Immediately and in a spirit of professionalism Gerard Batten pointed out that Steve Crowther didn’t have a clue what he was talking about as usual – perhaps Crowther would serve himself well were he to read up on the rules of The EU – however many such pretend agreements are put in place they haven’t a shred of authority as they are ultra virese. The EU states that elected MEPs can NOT be bound to a policy or to vote a certain way by a whip or a party.

UKIP’s unprofessionalism just makes them look endlessly stupid!

Gerard Batten, attending the NEC as one of the MEP Representatives (the other this time was Paul Nuttall) pointed out he would not join a P-EP that did not have a commitment to withdrawal in its articles.

Junius says: And there was us thinking that Gerard would never join a PEP under ANY circumstances!

G.L-W.: Thus clearly whatever UKIP members vote at a cost of upto £10K+ UKIP MEPs will do what Nigel Farage tells them and please don’t expect either Gerard Batten or John Buffton to develope a backbone and stand on their own feet as it might harm their chances of re-election and representing these United Kingdoms or their constituents has absolutely no significance to them as they have made very clear.

Currently there is no P-EP that has such a commitment. It may be that in the event of a “YES” vote in the ballot then UKIP would need to set up its own P-EP in order to have such a commitment enshrined in the P-EP’s constitution.

G.L-W.: UKIP has shown no signs of setting up a leadership nor even a structure so do try to talk some sense Steve!

G.L-W.: So Denny, UKIP NEC and others will be only too happy to exploit any EU Law for personal gain and as stated seek votes from people who would not wish to vote for UKIP by subterfuge!!

How proud UKIP must be that having been an unmittigated disaster in Domestic votes for 18 years with less than 30 elected individuals out of some 19,500 available elected offices they now stoop to forming other parties to dupe the public.

We note during an EU Election UKIP set out to defeat a rival by stealing their name – yet more dishonest are the two UKIP members Andrew Smith and Mick McGough who despite their position in UKIP where one of the slimes is on The NEC they are in total breech of UKIP’s own rules and have jointly registered a UKIP spoiler party!

Nigel gave his leaders report. As per usual, nothing had been circulated in advance. Basically, all’s well with the world and things are going great.

 Junius says: Ouch!
G.L-W.: Junius seems to overlook the intelligence and political nouse of the audience to whom he was delivering the report so any old schpiel from UKIP’s sales rep would do!

The Patrons’ Club continues to expand and the dinner that night was oversubscribed.

G.L-W.: Not very convincing!

G.L-W.: Are we to assume Gerard Batten will not attend as The EFD is not a withdrawalist group it is pro EU Membership, pro reform (undefined), Racist, anti Homosexual, anti Jewish and has openly advocated killing immigrants from North Africa without a murmur of censure form other members!

How proud UKIP must be to have such associates in the gutter they have chosen to frequent!

A good idea really and one that would legitimately put EU/MEP money into the conference. Interesting to see how many MEPs take up this suggestion?

G.L-W.: Rather more significant would be to see an MEP make ANY donation to the party other than to get themselves re-elected so as to buy a larger pension for themselves.

A new recruitment brochure was flashed in front of the NEC. This has been sent to the Regional Organisers for comment. It was not passed round to the NEC.

G.L-W.: Clearly the NEC may think they are important but The MEPs and leadership claque do not!

Legal matters was its usual depressing report. Least said about it the better

Junius says: UKIP face ANOTHER day in court this week. Their costs could be in excess of £30,000. More on this later.

G.L-W.: UKIP have a startling record and list of guilty verdicts over the years – have they one where they were NOT found guilty?

Finance showed we were in the red but not badly so. The cash flow looked worse than it was because all the costs for the conference were known but ticket sales had not yet started so that was making the situation look worse than it really was. The Deputy Treasure explained in his report that this was because the outgoings on the conference were definite items of expenditure we would be making but ticket sales were only a possible income we might be getting. So, prudence said we had to assume we wouldn’t sell any tickets until the money actually started to come in.

G.L-W.: The treasurer being Stuart Wheeler who has already stated he is not interested in the dishonesty of the accounts and his deputy Hugh Williams having a proven track record of dishonesty and cheating members I guess this report is about as trustworthy as they used to be when that liar and charlatan Andrew Smith pretended to keep the books!

Jonathan Arnott has taken over the management of the introduction of the new membership database. He has only been doing this for a couple of weeks so is still getting to grips with the brief. I would have liked some form of written report and hopefully this will eventually be forthcoming. However, I’m not holding my breath!

Junius says: Don’t hold your breath. Jonathon ‘frightened rabbit’ Arnott is about as much use as a chocolate fireplace. If he had just one brain cell, he’d be dangerous.

G.L-W.: Perhaps Junius is a little harsh on the lad as he did get a degree in sums and even taught maths in a little private school for a while. I understand he obtained a Masters qualification in the consumption of pies – as skill in whichh I gather his fellow members in Sheffield excel

Junius says: More twisted Farage logic. So as the Welsh voted for more devolution in the March referendum it would be undemocratic for UKIP to abolish the assembly? So what about the 1975 referendum? British people voted to stay in the EEC. Shouldn’t UKIP then support continued EU membership using the result of that referendum as the basis for their argument?

G.L-W.: UKIP is little more than a rather bad joke in Wales – this is not the first catastrophic intervention by Farage as many will remember the stumble bum drunk in the frock he introduced at the last minute in a previous election:

Previous to that he foist the self serving and untrustworthy Jim Carver on UKIP Wales to sell his umbrellas and latterly with the duplicitous David Lott to seek to corrupt an election based upon lies and corruption.

G.L-W.: So UKIP may wish to be democratically elected and resent the lack of democracy in the EU but do not even accept the first principles of democracy within their own organisation and for all the fuss show there is absolutely no point in having a Constitution as being a dictatorship every item can be set aside by Farage with out consultation and hinderance!

This was noted by one long term supporter of UKIP and sent to me witjh the lament that ‘IF you exchanged Farage for Chavez it was sadly almost exactly accurate of UKIP:

…thus exposing a major weakness of Chavez’s government which is that the leader has no heir. That is partly by design, of course. Chavez has put loyalty to himself before loyalty to the state, squashed any rival to his power (even top lieutenants keep low profiles) and surrounded himself with talentless cronies. Approval ratings of leading members of his party languish in the low 30s. Thus Chavism as a political movement has a limited future.

Sadly how very true!

G.L-W.: So the membership and the donors can go and get stuffed as long as they keep Farage in the manner he has come to expect at the expense of UKIP and in betrayal of these United Kingdoms – where as shown in this example alone he clearly states his disinterest in principles and integrity, leadership or morality, ethics or democracy – ANY expediency will do to get hiself elected!

Of course, if chasing populist votes is the name of the game then every other party in Wales supports the EU. So maybe UKIP Wales needs to change from withdrawal from the EU to reform the EU?

Junius says: Confirmation that UKIP is a dictatorship under one man.

G.L-W.:But UKIP does support The EU and is even campaigning to help undermine Patriotic domestic politics – hardly surprising in view of their risible results in domestic elections – their only hope is in doing well for themselves in The EU, whatever principles they may prostitute to do so!

G.L-W.:  As already stated this is utter cobblers!

The concept of “friends” groups was also discussed, as there is a request to recognise Hindu Friends of UKIP Group. As we have already recognised a UKIP Friends of Israel group, it makes it almost impossible to object to anyone who wants to attach the UKIP name to their own particular cause.

G.L-W.:  Especially as Friends of Israel are utterly corrupt and based upon unsound ethics being in fact Friends of Zionism one of the great evils on this planet with which no political party should EVER be associated. How does UKIP justify the massacres by the Zionist Terrorists of the IDF?

How does UKIP justify the fascist style slaughter of Palestinians in their own homes?

How does UKIP justify the creation of a ghetto surrounded by concrete walls and razor wire and attacked by helicopter gunships and turned to rubble with tanks by zionist filth?

Hated by The Jewish peoples world wide:

Personally I would not officially recognise any “friends” groups as I consider them divisive and completely against UKIP’s supposed policy of not pandering to special interest groups. As it turn out the UKIP Friends of Israel have nearly a full page in the next issue of Independence News. Another dangerous precedent in my opinion. However, what do I know?

G.L-W.:  I totally agree with Steve on this point – That UKIP are friends with such vile people and with the revolting racists, anti homosexual and anti Jewish supporters of membership of The EU speaks volumes of the ethics of UKIP in a manner no amount of denial will expunge!

David Coburn made a brief presentation on why we should hold the 2012 spring conference in Gibraltar but as Steve Crowther informed the NEC that it was going to be in Skegness this made the whole discussion a bit pointless.

G.L-W.: What keeps David Coburn’s ears apart as clearly it isn’t common sense – nor is it likely this would be approved as the party dictator and Steve’s resume shows Farage is Dictator of UKIP, he would not be able to attend. Perhaps this clown Coburn should learn a little of the party and try to understand the EU before making a fool of himself.

Unsurprisingly Farage has left when Coburn was wasting everyone’s time!

We were now running out of time. Nigel had already left to get ready for the Patrons’ Club pre-dinner drinks at 6.00pm and of course the important people on the NEC also needed to be getting over there promptly.

G.L-W.: Steve has made it abundantly clear there is no one of importance on the NEC, those of any merit are long gone and even the lees of the leadership claque are no more than a joke in bad taste!

Junius says: Why are you so surprised? Fuhrer Farage makes all the decisions! We did warn you!

G.L-W.: Perhaps Steve would care to go back through the records of UKIP and establish when if ever The NEC had ANY relevance, any respect or any meaningful input. UKIP NEC are the posturing castrati of the UKIP choir singing for their master and droppings from his trough!

As usual there were many things said that I have not covered but these are my high point recollections. There will be an official report by the Party Chairman posted on the Members forum in due course.

Junius says: Why are you so surprised? Fuhrer Farage makes all the decisions! We did warn you!

G.L-W.:Hardly worth the effort with a mere handfull of members posting there and only to be noticed as they seek praise and position on the members’ heavily censored Forum.

It is hardly worth reading, in fact I rarely do these days as it is so boring and not a political brain cell in sight!

.

~~~~~~~~~~#########~~~~~~~~~~
As increasingly UKIP leaders and their parasites fall out and squabble like ferrests in a sack to keep their positions and access to self importance and their snouts in the troughs – you will note the calliber of the NEC has all but collapsed.
Even the dross is drifting off disgruntled with Rachel Oxley who was as much use as a soup sandwich, seemingly unwilling to carry on as just as she had no past achievements she realised there were none likely in the future.
Michael Zukerman has also drifted away no doubt in the realisation that he could not expect to make more money out of UKIP – you will note virtually every case UKIP has entered since he as a Solicitor joined has led to a Guilty verdict against UKIP. Such a track record can not have helped the record of Bent & Manure!
We still see the liar Derek Clark posing & posdturing, when he can hear what is going on, I wonder when he will have the integrity to admit he is a liar and appologise for his basic dishonesty – he may even care to tell members just howmuch he was ordered to repay to The EU when found guilty of stealing public money by OLAF – a difficult item to report on as he is still waiting for details of the action his local constabulary will be taking against him
We note that having read the OLAF Report available under FoI that removed any pretence of inaccuracy in the Sunday Times article that he may have tried to promote Mike Nattrass has decided to withdraw his threats of prosecution against The Sunday Times.
As I recal The Sunday Times offered to publish the updated info but Nattrass didn’t want that he demanded an apology and was claiming they had prevented him from being UKIP leader (some will remember when the summer holidays ended Mike decided to have an extended holiday in The Phillipines and wasn’t even around until the later part of the leadership election.
Dellusionaly that did not stop him claiming ‘it was The ST wot dun it‘ or he would have won so he demanded a full apology.
Well he did til he realised just how close he had come to being found guilty and like Graham Booth being forced to repay money as also with Farage, West, Titford and Clark.
The threats and bluster have collapsed like a pricked balloon and I expect Nattrass will hope for the update to get the egg off his face.
One has to wonder if Stuart Agnew and David Bannerman will get off as lightly, in view of their confessions and fraud..
Just because they follow the populist argument that that is what the public seem to want does NOT necessarily make it right for the country in the context of British independence or long-term stability. It does not do these things; it is pure short-term, short-sighted politics.
The public have not been properly informed for forty years what the EU is all about, nor do they know much about the real issues involved in regional government or Regional Assemblies as they have been (deliberately) kept largely in the dark about it. They know so little about the EU itself – why do people seem to think they know much about the implications of Regional government and Assemblies?
The public are wrong to accept regional assemblies and devolved government because it breaks up the existing system of local government and promotes the EU’s ideology of regional government. On that basis UKIP should oppose it – and UKIP would be RIGHT in doing so.
In fact regional devolution goes against the primary rationale of UKIP in my opinion – to oppose all EU inspired constructs which interfere with the existing political structure of Great Britain, and especially if such interference assists in the breakup of the United Kingdom. UKIP should be conserving the constitution of the UK, not helping to break it up.
The implied opposition to the EU, and support for a United Kingdom is incorporated into our very name: The United Kingdom Independence Party.
————
It is now Nigel Farage’s policy – and therefore UKIP’s because the Leader has ultimate authority to make or change policy without reference to anyone – to accept a “Federal United Kingdom”. … a system of separate federal governmental ‘states’ within Britain. (All coming under the overall jurisdiction of the EU of course !)
I publicly state now I profoundly disagree with this stance.
I have to go along with it if the Leader says that is what it is because I have no choice – but I still disagree with it.
This case is an excellent example of where UKIP, after the Roger Knapman inspired change in UKP’s constitution, (to have only the Leader determining policy without reference to the NEC or anyone else) is now in a profoundly precarious situation with a particular policy, having one person only determining that policy – and that person can do so and change it on the hoof. It should be perfectly obvious it is highly dangerous, and this is an example of it.
It is a recipe for division within the party – as well as being as a policy – de facto – divisive for the country. The pan-European parties issue is another example of potentially highly divisive policy within the party, but at least in this case the membership get to make the final decision.
Having as official policy the support of devolved regional governments is a highly dangerous and worrying course for UKIP to take in my opinon.
Regional government and assemblies is a direct EU construct.
A “Federal Britain” of regional governments is an excellent way of encouraging squabbling between them. They then become ripe for takeover if they wish to devolve further by direct control from Brussels in the future. Divide and rule (i.e. and therefore conquer) is as true and effective a strategy now as it always has been in history.
Supporting devolution and regional assemblies as official policy does not enhance our profile in the country as the known and respected opposition party to the EU.
As a policy it will not win votes.
It assists the EU in its agenda.
It goes directly against UKIP’s principles in my opinon.
For the population size of this country we do not need devolved regional governments for good, effective, efficient government.
We have had a perfectly good system of democratically elected representatives meeting in a single parliament, and a regional system of local government as county and District councils. It worked perfectly well for hundreds of years – it could do so again – but only if, and when, we can get rid of the dead hand of the EU around the throat of the Westminster parliament which is presently throttling it.
Like everything the EU does: devolved government and regional assemblies are a chimera, a lie, a sop to the worst instincts of the public to pretend they have better democracy, and it bamboozles them into thinking they get better government whereas in reality they DO NOT.
The public fall for it every time as they are just stupid.
The EU is still making those 80% of all rules, regulations, laws and directives just the same – and there is nothing the regional devolved “governments” can do about it. “Devolved government” and Mickey-Mouse Regional Assemblies are just a sham of democracy. UKIP should – and rightly so – oppose them.
A letter to Viscount Monckton of Brenchley from the Clerk of the Parliaments
18 July 2011
Letter to Viscount Monckton of Brenchley from David Beamish, the Clerk of the Parliaments.
Dear Lord Monckton
My predecessor, Sir Michael Pownall, wrote to you on 21 July 2010, and again on 30 July 2010, asking that you cease claiming to be a Member of the House of Lords, either directly or by implication. It has been drawn to my attention that you continue to make such claims.
In particular, I have listened to your recent interview with Mr Adam Spencer on Australian radio.
In response to the direct question, whether or not you were a Member of the House of Lords, you said “Yes, but without the right to sit or vote”. You later repeated, “I am a Member of the House”.
I must repeat my predecessor’s statement that you are not and have never been a Member of the House of Lords. Your assertion that you are a Member, but without the right to sit or vote, is a contradiction in terms. No-one denies that you are, by virtue of your letters Patent, a Peer. That is an entirely separate issue to membership of the House. This is borne out by the recent judgment in Baron Mereworth v Ministry of Justice (Crown Office) where Mr Justice Lewison stated:
“In my judgment, the reference [in the House of Lords Act 1999] to ‘a member of the House of Lords‘ is simply a reference to the right to sit and vote in that House … In a nutshell, membership of the House of Lords means the right to sit and vote in that House. It does not mean entitlement to the dignity of a peerage.”
I must therefore again ask that you desist from claiming to be a Member of the House of Lords, either directly or by implication, and also that you desist from claiming to be a Member “without the right to sit or vote”.
I am publishing this letter on the parliamentary website so that anybody who wishes to check whether you are a Member of the House of Lords can view this official confirmation that you are not.
BRITAIN TOLD ‘YOU CAN QUIT EU’
Friday July 15 2011 by Alison Little Deputy Political Editor
BRITAIN should consider quitting the EU, scornful Euro MPs said yesterday after the Daily Express exposed Brussels’ latest power grab.
During heated exchanges, British MEPs were heckled at an EU meeting as they referred to our front page report that Brussels could force sports stars to wear the EU flag on their kit.
The German committee chairwoman, Doris Pack, accused Ukip MEP Paul Nuttall of grandstanding when he flourished a copy of yesterday’s Daily Express and described the EU proposal as “baloney”.
She said, to applause from some MEPs, that it was just “better not” to speak about the British press.
She later added: “In the Lisbon Treaty there is a possibility to leave the EU … I only wanted to say it.”
MEPs at the meeting said they understood her comments to mean Britain had the mechanism to leave the EU if it wanted. Mr Nuttall said: “The chairwoman got quite irate and said the good thing about the Lisbon Treaty is that it includes a clause that would let us leave, that would allow we British to leave.”
ì
It’s outrageous. It’s an affront to our national teams
î
Tory MP Tracey Crouch
Yesterday we revealed how the European Parliament is considering, as part of wide ranging report on sport, plans to force European teams to wear the EU flag on their kit in addition to their national flag.
The idea that sports stars, including our football, rugby, cricket and Olympic teams, might have to display the blue and yellow symbol prompted outrage in Britain.
Tory MP Tracey Crouch, who is a qualified FA coach, said: “It’s outrageous. It’s an affront to our national teams.”
Former England football manager Graham Taylor said: “When competing European nations play against each other it seems pointless to have the European flag on both teams’ shirts. It seems a bit daft.”
The proposal featured in a draft motion debated yesterday at the EU Parliament’s culture and education committee suggesting ways to develop a “European dimension” in sport.
It said that “the European flag should be flown at major sports events held on EU territory and suggests that it should be displayed on the clothing of athletes from member states”.
Mr Nuttall, Ukip’s deputy leader, told the meeting there was “a fair bit of sense” in the overall document. But on the EU flag proposal he said he “didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when I read it”.
Holding up a copy of yesterday’s Daily Express, he declared: “You’ve only got to look at what the English press is writing to see this idea is utter baloney, it’s mad.” Amid jeering from other MEPs, the chairwoman called for order before Mr Nuttall insisted that any flag ruling would be “repugnant to many people in the UK”.
Curtly slapping him down, Ms Pack said: “Thank you very much, you had your broadcasting, your TV, you had everything you wanted – but you’re not right.” She urged Mr Nuttall to read the draft motion to see that the “tiny” flag issue was “a proposal, not an obligation”.
British Conservative MEP Emma McClarkin was also later rebuked by Ms Pack after she said the flag idea was “absolutely outrageous”. Miss McClarkin said Scottish, Welsh, and Northern Irish teams did not display the British flag let alone the EU flag. She added: “It’s a very sensitive issue. If you go for vanity projects like this, you’re going to turn people off from the EU.”
Ms Pack retorted that the “wonderful” report was “not about the European flag” and that MEPs should not keep going on about it.
Speaking after the meeting, Mr Nuttall said he believed some of the MEPs were “very keen” on the flag idea. He added: “I believe they will push this forward because if the EU becomes more and more unpopular across the Continent, they will try to use sport as a tool of propaganda.”
He has tabled an amendment to delete the relevant clause from the draft motion, which had been proposed by a Spanish MEP.
The committee is due to vote on the package in October. If passed, it will go to the European Parliament, and then potentially be presented to the European Commission as a proposal for legislation. EU member governments would also have to approve.
An EU Commission spokeswoman said it was “not against” the flag proposal but conceded that it was “controversial”.
