Hi,
does this not rather typify UKIP leadership?
Marta Andreasen issued a public statement calling for the resignation of Nigel Farage on Monday.
Eventually some dweeb who has just presided over an NEC meeting where insufficient people turned up to form a quorum and they listened to an idiot making a fool of himself talking of 1,000 Councillors by 2014 after an absolutely catastrophic election that had just lived down to everyones fears of the new professionalism
Finally on Thursday a private letter from Farage’s appointee is made public when issued as a limp wristed and inadequate display of leadership on behalf of nigel Farage whose leadership ability has thus been made all too clear.
Here is the letter:

Dear Marta
As Chairman of the Party, I am writing to you to express my extreme
disappointment at your actions over the past three days.
While it is not unusual for there to be disagreements within a political party,
your public call for the resignation of the Party Leader is unacceptable.
Your comments were disloyal, not only to the Party Leader, but also to the
Party itself, which put you where you are and which elected Nigel Farage as
Leader only six months ago, with a 60% mandate.
You were also profoundly wrong in your analysis of our performance in the
recent election campaign – a campaign to which your own contribution was
not conspicuous. This is borne out by the detailed election results released
yesterday.
Your press release stated that ‘Party members and supporters are justifiably
angry’. You are right; they are absolutely livid at your behaviour. The
overwhelming – I might say unanimous – reponse I have had over the past
two days has been in support of the Leader, including from all three of the
unsuccessful candidates in last year’s Leadership election.
The Party’s members do not deserve and will not tolerate such disruption,
which can only undermine their hard work, especially from a senior member
of the Party who is enjoying the fruits of their efforts.
Any further action of this kind will be treated very seriously.

Late in the day after the party has spent 3.1/2 days running around like headless chickens this smack on the wrist is unlikely to have any effect whatsoever.
We note Tim Congdon has been persuaded to provide a briefest of brief memo in support of Farage’s position as elected leader – with praise a’plenty for his abilities but a notable lack of praise of any leadership skills or ability and a strong criticism of the direction in which he is leading.
That this was provided to shore up a lad who has a reputation for underhand duplicity in his own interest and being placed as a puppet by Farage is notable – you may recall he was used to do a knife job and stab Delroy Young in the back!
They do say give a child the encouragement of an adult and they will take on the world!
Here is Tim’s damnation with feint praise as a follow on to Crowther’s ‘Naughty Girl’ letter:
Tim Congdon, the second place UKIP leadership challenger from last year has ruled himself out of joining the small isolated group of members who are calling for a leadership challenge. In his own words:Nigel has many gifts – he is an outstanding speaker and television personality. He has been elected, by a large majority, for four years. He must be supported by all party members. Should he remain leader indefinitely? Well, that is for the party to decide. At this stage I intend to throw my hat in the ring again in 2014, as I believe the party needs its centre of gravity to be in this country, not in Brussels or Strasbourg. Mr. Congdon has also said that:Yes, the party must support its leader. As I have always said, Nigel Farage has great gifts which are invaluable to the UK Independence Party. But I will continue to argue that the centre of gravity of UKIP must be in the UK, not in Brussels or Strasbourg. Of course I support Nigel as leader, as we all must do. Please, please, forward this to whomever you please. I am again copying this to [deleted], anyway.
Let us not forget this is ‘claimed’ by Michael Heavers who has already shown himself to be untrustworthy, self serving and bought and paid for by Farage – it seems these are the extracts that suit his Master’s purposes!
The foolish little chap who only 2 blogs earlier was telling the world as a believer that UKIP was set to win 3 seats in Wales when anyone with ANY Political nouse knew damned well they had no plausible candidate, strategy, vision or tactics in Wales and would struggle to even get a few more votes let alone a seat with their idiot leadership and incompetent policy.
Yet we see the little lad trying desperately to link Marta Andreasen with some plot within UKIP, seemingly in yet another act of desperate dishonesty seeking to try to lie by inuendo as a coward and imply Marta Andreasen is acting for a group – WHO MICHAEL? Are you grown up enough to put your name to whom you were trying to besmirch and provide provenance?
I would hazard a guess he is so politically naiive he believes Roger Knapman is acting in concert with Nikki Sinclaire merely because Roger re-stated his oft made denunciation of The EU and becoming part of the problem by obliging the EU in return for money thereby prostituting the Party.
That Roger Knapman has made his comment AFTER the local elections and as the debate on the issue commences is no surprise and that he has asked a junior member of Sinclaire’s staff to act as filter for the media is hardly surprising – well he wouldn’t want a Polish workman to answer the phone at his house would he!
One drawback of Farage’s leadership is the endless promises of professionalising with absolutely no sign of doing so and criticism of people who have no experience outside politics yet he elevates children with no experience of anything as spokesman to avoid his fingerprints on every attempt and failure of management!
