Hi,
my phone really stepped up on Wednesday with both Press and ‘old school members’ of UKIP, probably having heard my predictions last week.
It has been quite strange to watch EUkip coming unravelled as if following that script.
Richard is the only person who has bothered to write up the script as a comment.
Unequivocally may I commend Nigel Farage for standing down as leader and particularly for his apparent admission that he has been making a mess of leadership (AS I PREDICTED), but as with most informed commentators and political thinkers sadly he has already – (AS I PREDICTED) -destroyed UKIP.
Farage’s clearest area of utter incompetence in leadership is displayed by the embarrassing total lack of possible candidates to lead the party whom he has trained and delegated to to follow him.
That of course is of little matter as Farage will still be the defacto leader as he was for almost a decade before he seized leadership through dishonesty and corruption in seemingly blind panic at the possibility of the introduction of financial integrity in the party under competent leadership after a string of Farage puppets.
We must all now stand back and see what a mess the castrati make in their pointless squabbling to select THE castrato, fool enough to take Farage’s poison chalice!
Richard has much of the oh so predictable script and has, as ever presented it with consumate competence. Let us see if the rest of the predictions that he has not published will surface over the next few days, as he is spot on in as far as he has gone.

Having previously announced that he is to stand against speaker John Bercow in the general election, Nigel Farage has now announced that he is to stand down as UKIP leader, ostensibly to enable him to concentrate on fighting Bercow’s Buckingham seat.
The decision to take on the speaker is politically astute as, by convention, none of the main parties field candidates against the speaker. Although nominally Tory, Bercow is universally detested by his own side and, therefore, there is an outside chance that enough local Tories will break ranks and vote for the “cheeky chappie” to give him a run at becoming UKIP’s first elected MP.
With Farage though, nothing is ever entirely what it seems. There are strong rumours that our Nigel has overstayed his welcome in Brussels and that the forces of darkness are not a million miles from feeling his collar, making his continued tenure as an MEP expensive and increasingly insecure. Reinventing himself as a Westminster MP – his lower salary fortified by his MEP pension – could head off the wolves and given him protection from impending disaster.
On the other hand, divesting himself of the leadership means very little. Farage still holds the leadership of the MEPs and thus the purse strings. As lead candidate for the general election, he will also be able to bask in more than his fair share of publicity.
Having assiduously driven out of the Party any potential rivals, he is left with little serious competition and will, most likely, be able to appoint a trusted placeholder to keep his seat warm. That will pave the way for his triumphal return at a later date, when his current batch of critics have dissipated their energies on his successor, and the membership is crying out for his hand back on the tiller.
Meanwhile, his temporary placeholder can hold the poison chalice, dealing with the divers unpleasantness which is about to hit the Party – not least some unfinished business with the electoral commission – leaving a squeaky clean Farage free to concentrate on his Westminster re-birth.
Should the “cheeky chappie” prevail against the loathsome Bercow, another of Farage’s gambles will have paid off. Once more he will make Teflon seem like superglue as walks away from the wreckage of his own making, without a stain on his character. As a politician, it seems, Farage has what it takes to succeed, and he could just pull it off.

Hi,
after the huge damage done by Farage to the UKIP brand I believe that Gregg is right not to rejoin as it does look terminal.
The use of EUSSR is less worrying than its inaccuracy and there is a very big difference between the principles, aims and morality of UKIP and the terminal destruction inflicted as EUkip.
Names in these situations are but shorthand. The villification of private individuals has done EUkip much harm but clearly those with their snouts in the trough are legitimate targets of criticism.
The sport now will be to see which of the castrati will emerge singing Farage’s tune – since as before he seized leadership by cheating he will still be in total control of EUkip.
Leader of EUkip in the EU, leader of the new vile EFD Party, leader of the MEPs, leader in control of funding, leader in control of employment and pay, leader of comment on the EU, most prominent PPC, most notable within the Westminster Bubble, employer of the Press Office, leader of funding control, Chairman/leader of The South East region, leader of syphoning money into his campaign in Bucks., etc. etc.
I understand his new puppet will be leader responsible for results in the general election, leader responsible for comment on Tom Wise’s probable conviction, leader responsible for managing the results of probable damaging OLAF results, leader with responsibility for handling of the probability of either a huge increase in forfeiture and costs or additional charges pertaining to El.Com., leader of these damaging difficulties and little else!!
I doubt even Gregg’s broad shoulders would wish to bear this load!!

I wonder to what depths of obsequious flattulence Hefferlump and Oborne will sink in their EUlogies to Farage – they can usually be relied on to publish something of a predictable ‘crock’ when it comes to Farage!
TO LEAVE THE EU
What is the exit and survival plan for these United Kingdoms to maximise on the many benefits of leaving The EU. It is the DUTY of our Politicians and Snivil Cervants to ensure the continuity, liberty and right to self determination of our peoples they have a DUTY to protect against crime and secure both our food and our border.
NONE of these DUTIES has a single British politician upheld for 40 years. They have drawn their incomes fraudulently and dishonesty.
Politicians are failing to tell the truth, but so are almost all wanabe Politicians, the MSM and Snivil Cervants.
The fact is that even if EVERY British MEP wanted change in The EU it would achieve NOTHING.
Every single British Politician, of EVERY Party, elected since before we joined the EUropean Common Market, has promised to change The EU’s CAP – In 40 Years they have achieved absolutely NOTHING!
To try to put a value on OUR Freedom is as futile as floccipaucinihilipilification and as odious as the metissage of our societies, as we rummage in the ashes of our ancestors dreams, sacrifices and achievements, the flotsam of our hopes and the jetsam of our lives, consider the Country and Anglosphere which we leave our children and the future, with shame!

Deny the self seeking & meaningless wanabe MEPs the Mythical Mandate for which they clamour. Diktat is imposed from The EU but Law should be made at Westminster, for our Country & our Peoples.
