Here in Green is the posting made recently by Michael McGough, using the laxity and willingness of Butcher & Padmore to provide a platform for misrepresentation, McGough who has been clearly proven as duplicitous and dishonest willingly cheating his friends and duping his associates for his personal gain – a man seemingly without understanding of morality.
You will note the efforts made by the likes of McGough, Croucher & Bob F-M aided by Butcher & Padmore to vend the same dishonest misrepresentation as that which such as Longman, Speight, Hockney, Bullen, Gulleford, Cole and their ilk were all too willing to peddle to suit their personal ambitions.
Like Mark Croucher and his ilk of today a few facts taken out of place and distorted as a tissue of lies to suit their personal gain is all too visible.
Take for instance the posting by Martin Col;e below which dullards like McGough quote out of context almost 9 years later:

First a boast from Greg Lance-Watkins to Eurocritical on 15th March 2000 as to what he had achieved:-

(NB: this came to us anonymously but we have sought verification as to its authenticity from various participants to these events, several of whom have confirmed that this was the version circulated).

Bill Jamieson and Christopher Booker 9 March 2000 UKIP Leadership Election As two Sunday Telegraph columnists who have been among UKIP’s most active allies in the media, and who have to a certain extent staked our journalistic credibility on our support for the Party, may we express our particularly deeply felt concerns over the present leadership elections?
It is clearly vital, from everyone’s point of view, that UKIP should choose a leader who can command the widest possible support both inside and outside the Party; and in this context it is our strongly held view that this must mean choosing a NEW leader.
The past year has seen far too many embarrassments and missed opportunities for there to be anything other than a complete break with the past. But, in terms of our public support for UKIP, we regret it is equally vital that the Party should choose someone whose analysis of the nature and failings of the European Union is based on a serious, up-to-date understanding of how and why the EU is developing in the way it is; and not some wider conspiracy theory which, however compelling to a minority of members, cannot be shared by the vast majority.
We believe at least one of the candidates for the leadership falls into this latter category, Mr. Rodney Atkinson. It is our personal concern that any leader holding such views might take the Party in directions where it would be impossible for us to follow, as we would sadly have to make clear.
We very much hope the members of UKIP will choose a leader who can take the Party forward on the broadest possible front, and in a way to which we can both continue to give our enthusiastic support.

1 I believe the support of these two leading journalists and media individuals for UKIP is essential to the future well-being of UKIP.
2 Both these journalists have spoken in support of UKIP frequently, both on UKIP ‘platforms’ and others.
3 They are unequivocal that they, if Mr. Holmes or Mr. Atkinson were elected as leader of UKIP, ‘would sadly have to make clear’ they no longer supported UKIP.

I stand by the FACTS of what I said, in the context of the time. I was right in my action then in the light of every fact available at the time.
You will note that the posting by Martin Cole starts out with:

In as far as ANY action that supercedes another contributes to making the outcome – this is just pretentious wording by Martin Cole to make his chosen interpretation seem worthy!

Yes I decided to try to strengthen UKIP & give it a future just as did Christopher Booker & Bill Jamieson – I agree TOTALLY with the sentiment and facts that they put forward in their letter and because I agreed I asked THEM for their permission to widely distribute their letter which I did.
We did NOT hand the party to any cabal – we avoided it falling into the hands of one at the time – which seems greatly to have drawn the venom of the thwarted cabal, who had hoped to gain control of UKIP.

Firstly – NOT a boast but a statement of fact, openly stated to prevent a witchunt were it not an action identified to one person. Secondly my posting was made to ‘EUroRealist’ – I mailed the letter as widely as I was able, with the aim to influence the election as I personally considered in the best interests of these United Kingdoms and the best hopes of our liberation from the EEC of the time.

Dishonestly Martin Cole and his sleazy little coterie at the time imply I mailed this to Farage as stated – they conveniently and dishonestly singled him out from several 1,000 people who received the eMail. A corrupt misrepresentation perpetuated by the corrupt and the dishonest to this day!

The ONLY conspiracy was the conspiracy of dishonesty in misrepresentation of the FACTS which are that I obrtained a copy of Christopher Booker & Bill Jamieson’s letter and I decided without consultation to obtain their position and circulate the letter – which I did.
I notified Nigel Farage at the same as many many others including every NEC member and officer whom I had eMail addresses of.

Doesn’t this make this circular mailed and eMailed to over 10,000 people sound dramatic and make Martin Cole sound important!

The best place to get the details is have a look at the postmark on any of the 1,000s of envelopes – they were standard white letter envelopes! The eMails will all have been headlined as eMails always are.

It rather shows just how easy it is to take quite simple facts and portray them in a manner which becomes a lie – as with the comments of people like Brendan Padmore who is so stupid he doesn’t even know the extent to which he assistas the EU. The world is full of useful idiots!
The level of dishonesty is simple misrepresentation by the corrupt – the dishonesty amongst those with personal ambitions in 2000 was not disimilar to the lies and dishonesties of Mark Croucher, Douglas Denny, Brendan Padmore, Anthong Butcher and their ilk today – some deliberate dishonesty others just gullible stupidity and some out of self interested weakness.
