Hi,

minded that on this site we have introduced reference to both OLAF’s current enquiries in some detail in December and even long before that, we have also alluded to Russian money in conection with Aaron Banks going back some seven years and there is little doubt Nigel Farage has been a beneficiary of Aaron Banks’ clearly dubious and far from transparent income!

It is a well documented fact that Nigel Farage and Ukip have been funded by Aaron Banks, what is not well documented with any degree of transparency has been both Aaron Banks’ income sources or for that matter those of Nigel Farage!

I expect Nigel Farage to run off to Mssrs. Carter Ruck, as he has in the past, to seek to suppress this story and any further speculation that might give arise to the truth becoming known – however I have my doubts that Carter Ruck will be willing to embroil themselves in confrontation with the FBI, CIA & NSA – all of whom seem to consider Nigel Farage as of special interest – it is noteworthy that Nigel Farage’s visits to America seem to have become less frequent, in fact seem to have stopped.

Presumably Aaron Banks is also avoiding America at the moment, could this be because they fear one of the American Security Agencies may subpoena them? It does seem strange when you consider Aaron Banks has funded the renting of a house in Washington for their use.

That Nigel Farage has been in contact with Assange since 2010 seems common knowledge, yet it looks all too similar to common with Soviet practice, and be minded that Putin was at one time head of the KGB, that Nigel Farage may well be considered a spent assett as his cover was under NSA, FBI, CIA scrutiny – could that be the very reason he went to visit Assange openly at the Ecuadorean Embassy, thus completely blowing his cober and effectively washing Russia’s hands of him now he is no more than yesterday’s errand boy.

I incline to believe Nigel Farage & Aaron Banks may well have progressed from People of Special Interest via Alpha Bank accounts under investigation in July 2016 to actual suspects or being on the wanted list – hence their empty house in Washington.

I presume, with his fascination for Russia and support of Chechen rebels and Litvenenko Gerard Batten may also feature on the FBI, CIA, NSA individual of special interest list, boring as he is. Gerard Batten’s staff may well also require closer attention minded of their aid and assistance to the paedophile Vladimir Bukovsky, whose trial would seem to have been delayed on CLAIMS of his ill health – apart from his sick interest in child pornography which it would seem is not just a matter of public knowledge but also seemingly undeniable one wonders if claims of other sicknesses are a matter of expediency, as it was quoted in open Court that his trial would continue in January 2017, as I recall.

Personally, after many years  of close study and many informants who have chosen to remain anonymous despite senior positions in Ukip, I have no reason to believe that Ukip, via Aaron Banks, Nigel Farage and others have NOT been in receipt of Russian money, that has materially altered their political stance – just as USSR funding of CND during Cathy Ashton’s tenure as Treasurer and no doubt regularly at other times materially assisted CND to damage the nuclear research and harm progress and safety on a deliberately anti British and indeed anti Western course.

Be minded that the lack of R&D largely caused by CND and funded by the USSR is directly responsible for the arcane standards and practices that led to the catastyrophic situation at Fukishima in Japan, a danger that is still within little more than 48 hours of catastrophe for our planet if they can not keep the faulty system cooled. a system which may require the faulty system continuing to function for possibly 1,000s of years as there seems to be no cure available! Gee thanks CND & USSR – they may yet lead to our species being annihilated.

It is this level of apparent betrayal and involvement of Russia brought about, it seems, by Donald Trump’s team and others acting out of self interest like Cathy Ashton, Gerard Batten, Marien LePen, Nigel Farage, Aaron Banks, Kushner, Cohen and their ilk not to mention Schroder who was rewarded for his damage to Western EUrope and the West with a directorship of Gascom & oligarch status, that befouls Western politics.

One can not and should not seek to blame Russia and their agents such as the former KGB now FSB as it is clearly their duty to act in Russia’s interest, including subverting Western politics by beguilling those willing to betray their own country for personal gain.

It does rather seem that IF those seemingly involved with and for Russia are brought to book they may well be best served by taking a leaf out of Nigel Farage’s aid George Cottrell’s book and pleading guilty to seek a plea bargain and possible absolution, all be it with an American ‘Personna Non Grata’ stamp in their passports!

Report: Nigel Farage a ‘Person of Interest’ in FBI Russia Probe

Rafael Marchante/Reuters

Nigel Farage, the former pro-Brexit Ukip leader in the U.K., is now a “person of interest” in the U.S. counterintelligence investigation on possible collusion between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin, The Guardian reports. Farage reportedly raised the interest of FBI officials because of his relationships with both the Trump campaign and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. “One of the things the intelligence investigators have been looking at is points of contact and persons involved,” one source said. “If you triangulate Russia, WikiLeaks, Assange, and Trump associates, the person who comes up with the most hits is Nigel Farage.” He has not yet been accused of wrongdoing and is not an official suspect.

Nigel Farage is a “person of interest” in the US counter-intelligence investigation that is looking into possible collusion between the Kremlin and Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, the Guardian has been told.

Sources with knowledge of the investigation said the former Ukip leader had raised the interest of FBI investigators because of his relationships with individuals connected to both the Trump campaign and Julian Assange, the WikiLeaks founder whom Farage visited in March.

WikiLeaks published troves of hacked emails last year that damaged Hillary Clinton’s campaign and is suspected of having cooperated with Russia through third parties, according to recent congressional testimony by the former CIA director John Brennan, who also said the adamant denials of collusion by Assange and Russia were disingenuous.

Farage has not been accused of wrongdoing and is not a suspect or a target of the US investigation. But being a person of interest means investigators believe he may have information about the acts that are under investigation and he may therefore be subject to their scrutiny.

Sources who spoke to the Guardian said it was Farage’s proximity to people at the heart of the investigation that was being examined as an element in their broader inquiry into how Russia may have worked with Trump campaign officials to influence the US election.

“One of the things the intelligence investigators have been looking at is points of contact and persons involved,” one source said. “If you triangulate Russia, WikiLeaks, Assange and Trump associates the person who comes up with the most hits is Nigel Farage.

“He’s right in the middle of these relationships. He turns up over and over again. There’s a lot of attention being paid to him.”

The source mentioned Farage’s links with Roger Stone, Trump’s long-time political adviser who has admitted being in contact with Guccifer 2.0, a hacker whom US intelligence agencies believe to be a Kremlin agent.

Farage’s spokesman said he had never worked with Russian officials, and described the Guardian’s questions about Farage’s activities as “verging on the hysterical”.

“Nigel has never been to Russia, let alone worked with their authorities,” the spokesman said. But he did not respond to questions about whether Farage was aware of the FBI inquiry; had hired a lawyer in connection to the matter; or when Farage first met Trump.

The spokesman also declined to comment on whether Farage had received compensation from the Russian state-backed media group RT for his media appearances. RT, which has featured Farage about three times over the last 18 months, also declined to comment, citing confidentiality.

On Thursday Farage dismissed the story as “fake news”. He said he visited Assange at the Ecuadorian embassy in March at the behest of LBC Radio “with a view to conducting an interview”.

He added: “I consider it extremely doubtful that I could be a person of interest to the FBI as I have no connections to Russia.”

Farage has said he only met Assange once has but declined to say how long the two have known each other.

The FBI’s national press office said it had no comment on Farage.

The former Ukip leader has voiced his support for the Russian president, calling Vladimir Putin the leader he most admired, in a 2014 interview. Ukip also has history with Assange: Gerard Batten, a Ukip member of the European parliament (MEP), defended the Wikileaks founder in a speech in the European parliament in 2011.

One source familiar with the US investigation told the Guardian that the examination of Farage’s activities was considered especially delicate given his role as an MEP.

Neither Farage nor Trump have made a secret of their admiration for one another. They emerged as unlikely winners last year in contests that have reshaped the world order: Britain’s vote to leave the EU and Trump’s surprise ascendency to the White House.

Both men credited their ability to tap into the worries of struggling and neglected citizens for their victories. But at the heart of the US investigation lies a deeper question: whether Trump campaign officials and people close to the former reality TV star sought to work with state players in Russia to try to influence the US election result.

Last July, Farage attended the Republican national convention in Cleveland, Ohio, when Trump became the party’s nominee.

According to an account by the Ukip donor Arron Banks, Farage first met Trump at a campaign stop in Mississippi in August, where he spoke at a Trump campaign event.

But Farage’s relationships with people close to the US president began years earlier. Farage first met Steve Bannon, Trump’s strategist and former campaign chief executive, in the summer of 2012, when Bannon, who was interested in rightwing movements in Europe, invited the then Ukip leader to spend a few days in New York and Washington, according to an account in the New Yorker magazine.

There Farage was introduced to, among others, the staff of the then senator Jeff Sessions, who is now the US attorney general. Speaking of his longtime admiration for Bannon, Farage told the New Yorker last year: “I have got a very, very high regard for that man’s brain.”

Two years later, in 2014, Breitbart News, of which Bannon was executive chair, opened an office in London. A top editor, Raheem Kassam, later went on to work as Farage’s chief of staff.

In 2015, Breitbart News arranged a dinner in Farage’s honour at “the embassy”, the nickname for the house the news group rented in Washington. According to a report in Bloomberg, attendees were “blown away” by Farage’s speech at the event, which was also attended by Sessions.

Then, on 24 June last year, the day after the UK voted to leave the EU, Farage thanked Bannon during an interview for Breitbart News’s coverage of the leave campaign. Bannon, in turn, congratulated Farage on his victory, saying he had led an extraordinary “David v Goliath” campaign.

Farage’s ties to Stone are also under scrutiny, it is understood. Stone has frequently publicised his relationship with Assange and described him on Twitter as “my hero”.

Stone publicly predicted the 2016 release of hacked emails from the Clinton campaign that now lie at the heart of the federal inquiry. Democrats on the House intelligence committee have named Stone in their hearings and, according to the New York Times, he is now under investigation.

Last summer, just a few weeks before Farage met Trump in Mississippi, Stone bragged about having a “mutual friend” who served as an intermediary between himself and Assange. He also mentioned in a separate tweet that he had dinner with Farage, though the date of the encounter is unclear.

After Trump’s victory, Farage was one of the first foreign politicians to meet and celebrate with the Republican president-elect, and had his picture taken with Trump in front of a golden elevator in Trump Tower just days after the US election.

In November, Trump suggested in a tweet Farage should become the UK’s ambassador to the US.

The tweet prompted a curt response from Downing Street, which pointed out that there was “no vacancy”. A spokesman said: “We already have an excellent ambassador.”

The pair met again in February, when they had dinner together with Trump’s daughter and adviser, Ivanka, and her husband and White House adviser, Jared Kushner.

Farage was asked about his relationship with Assange in a recent interview with Die Zeit, the German newspaper, after he was seen on 9 March leaving the Ecuadorian embassy where Assange has lived for years. Farage, who declared he had “never received a penny from Russia”, said he met Assange for “journalistic reasons”.

Pressed on his meetings with Russian officials in the past, Farage initially denied having had any, but then acknowledged that he had met Alexander Yakovenko, the Russian ambassador to the UK, in 2013.

Asked by Die Zeit what he was doing now, and whether he saw himself as a politician or a journalist, Farage concluded: “Changing public opinion. That’s what I have been doing for 20 years. Using television, media. Shifting public opinion. That’s what I am good at.”

A spokesman for Farage told the Guardian he had only met Assange on that one occasion. “The meeting was organised by a broadcaster, they could have easily sent another presenter instead.”

Key players in Russia-Trump investigation

The US president’s campaign team and people close to him are being investigated for possibly colluding with Russian state actors to influence the outcome of last November’s election. Trump, who has called the investigation “fake news” and recently fired the FBI director leading the case, was a staunch defender of Farage’s Brexit campaign and has met the former Ukip leader, whom he proposed several times as a possible UK ambassador to the US. While Trump recently said he would be OK with the US arresting Assange for leaks of sensitive information, he has previously sided with the Wikileaks founder, repeating Assange’s claim that he did not receive support from Russia.

The former Ukip leader was an enthusiastic supporter of Trump’s presidential campaign and attended the 2016 Republican national convention. He also has links with Steve Bannon, Trump’s White House strategist, and Roger Stone, the president’s decades-long political mentor. Farage has praised Vladimir Putin as a strong leader and has appeared several times on RT, Russia’s English-language propaganda channel. Farage has declined to say how much money RT paid him. Sources say Farage is a “person of interest” in the FBI’s investigation into whether Trump’s associates colluded with Russia during the presidential election.

Steve Bannon

The president’s chief White House strategist, who served as chief executive of the Trump campaign, has known Farage since 2012, when he was working as a senior editor at Breitbart News, the rightwing news website. The former investment banker – seen as the driving force behind Trump’s “America First” nationalist policies – hosted Farage in the US while he was leading Ukip and introduced him to key US conservatives. Breitbart strongly supported the leave campaign during the EU referendum in the UK and Bannon is seen as the main conduit between Trump and Farage.

Roger Stone

The Republican operative, who has known Trump for decades, is at the centre of the FBI investigation. Stone, who reportedly keeps in touch with Trump, boasted last year that he had a “back channel” to Julian Assange, the Wikileaks founder, and predicted the release by Wikileaks of emails that damaged Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Last summer, Stone tweeted that he had dinner with Farage – confirming the pair’s relationship – and had contact with Guccifer 2.0, who claimed responsibility for the hacking of Democratic party emails.

Julian Assange

The editor-in-chief of WikiLeaks played a key role in the release of hacked Democratic party emails, according to US intelligence agencies. They allege Russian hackers working for two Moscow spy agencies – the GRU and the FSB – gave the emails to Assange in London. WikiLeaks then published the leaked emails in July and October. This damaged Clinton’s campaign and helped Trump’s, US intelligence says. Assange denies the emails came from a state. In March, Farage visited Assange at the Ecuadorian embassy in London, just days after he had dined with Trump in Washington.

In consideration of links with Russia it is worth noting a posting from 12-Dec-2010

It is interesting to note that Ekaterina Paderina’s new married name is Banks and it would seem her husband Aaron Banks became the principle backer of Ukip with an income and resources that seem far from transparent6!

This correspondence between Ukip’s Press Office, the Farage gofer Gawain Towler and Gerard Batten thus becomes even more interesting:

News, 6 December

The sister of suspected spy Katia Zatuliveter was under investigation today

as it emerged that she posted an internet advert promising to help other

Russians come to Britain.

Miss Zatuliveter’s older sister, Polina, works at the admissions office of

the University of Central Lancashire and used the web to offer free

assistance to any of her fellow citizens wanting to study here.

“Do you know anyone who would like to study in England? Summer schools,

colleges, university? I can help (for free),” her advert stated.

Polina is understood to be married to a British businessman, Andrew

Cowburn.

The disclosure about her ad came as MI5 continued to investigate her

sister, 25, parliamentary assistant to Liberal Democrat MP Mike Hancock.

Katia Zatuliveter is facing deportation over alleged links with Russian

intelligence.

MI5 aims to assess whether any alleged espionage by Miss Zatuliveter might

have been part of a wider operation involving other possible spies.

She was arrested on Thursday and is being held at an immigration detention

centre, appealing against her deportation order. She came to the UK three

years ago to study at Bradford University.

She held a Commons pass and underwent security vetting before taking up her

position as Mr Hancock’s full-time assistant two and a half years ago. She

worked previously for him as an intern.

The latest developments came as the Kremlin considered how to react over

Miss Zatuliveter’s detention, including possible tit-for-tat expulsions,

while Moscow newspapers hailed her as a “sex bomb” spy to rival Anna

Chapman, who was arrested in the US earlier this year.

The newspaper Moskovsky Komsomolets trumpeted: “Chapman has a rival as the

most sexy spy”.

Another mass-selling paper claimed Britain was taking revenge on Russia

trouncing England in last week’s battle to host the 2018 World Cup.

“If the English had not received a slap in the face in the elections for

the 2018 World Cup, there would have been no spy scandal,” said the

staunchly pro-government Komsomolskaya Pravda.

“All this looks like a petty act of revenge on Russia. Gentlemen — this is

not sporting.”

The latest alleged spying case follows the arrest of Chapman, 28, and nine

other alleged spies in New York and their expulsion to Russia in a Cold

War-style spy-swap deal with Moscow.

Chapman had earlier married and divorced a former British public schoolboy

and had lived in London for six years.

“Highly intelligent” Katia Zatuliveter was educated at the same Russian

university as Russian prime minister Vladimir Putin, himself a former KGB

spy.

She comes from the deep south of her country, the resort city of Mineralnye

Vodiy, where local sources suggested the family was affluent and

well-connected.

Andrei, the father of Katia and Polina, is listed as Russian representative

of a Lancashire-based company called Choices (Northern UK) of which his

son-in-law Andrew Cowburn is a director.

Set up in March, the company aims to offer “information, advice, guidance

and application support to international students wishing to study in the

UK”.

News, 6 December

A review of parliamentary security checks was demanded today in the wake of

allegations surrounding MP’s assistant Katia Zatuliveter.

The call came as it emerged that Liberal Democrat MP Mike Hancock, who

employed Miss Zatuliveter, had access to a swathe of secrets useful to

Russian intelligence through his membership of the defence committee.

Sources said the Portsmouth South MP would also have been an “ideal target”

for Russian agents because of his constituency’s naval links and because he

had a relatively low profile.

His position on the committee would have allowed him to see confidential

documents and given access to important installations during committee

visits.

Chris Bryant, the shadow justice minister and the Labour MP who ousted Mr

Hancock from chairing the all-party Russia Group, said the episode must

trigger a full review of Commons vetting. He said Russian spies were

swarming over London in the same numbers as during the Cold War because of

the capital’s position as an international political centre.

Miss Zatuliveter, 25, underwent security vetting before taking up her

position. Mr Hancock is standing by his assistant, insisting that she has

“nothing to hide”. He has challenged the security services to produce

evidence against her.

Mr Bryant said: “Those who think that Russia is a transformed country are

clearly wrong. This is a regime one should not be aligned to.”

Hi,

The FBI Is Looking Hard at Nigel Farage

FARAGE, Nigel 130

This is just a quick piece to note that I am pleased to see the Guardian following up on what I wrote in March with some strong reporting on the connections between former U.K. Independence Party (UKIP) leader Nigel Farage and Donald Trump, Roger Stone, Steve Bannon, Julian Assange and Guccifer 2.0.

They even used some of the connections that I discovered while researching that piece (like Roger Stone’s dinner with Farage), and they found something else. I had reported that Breitbart’s London editor-in-chief Raheem Kassam was keen to defend UKIP against allegations that it was funded by Vladimir Putin. Here’s what I didn’t know:

Two years later, in 2014, Breitbart News, of which Bannon was executive chair, opened an office in London. A top editor, Raheem Kassam, later went on to work as Farage’s chief of staff.

This is getting discussed today because the FBI apparently agrees with me that Nigel Farage seem to be the hub for a remarkable number of spokes.

Guccifer 2.0 isn’t believed to be a Kremlin agent. The belief is that Guccifer 2.0 isn’t a person at all, but a fake persona created by Russian intelligence.

In any case, I feel like a made a small contribution to this reporting, so I wanted to share it.

Hi,

Leaked emails reveal Nigel Farage’s long-standing links to Julian Assange

Nigel Farage Nigel Farage. Jonathan Bachman / Getty

  • Emails leaked to Business Insider show long-standing links between Nigel Farage and WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange.
  • Farage visited the Ecuadorean Embassy on Thursday but declined to say whether he had met Assange, who lives in exile there.
  • UKIP has campaigned in the European Parliament on behalf of Assange.

LONDON — There was much confusion Thursday when Nigel Farage was spotted by BuzzFeed leaving the Ecuadorian Embassy in London — the residence of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

Asked why he was there, Farage replied that he couldn’t remember what he was doing in the building, adding, “I never discuss where I go or who I see.”

Emails leaked to Business Insider, however, reveal that UKIP under Farage’s leadership had long-standing links to Assange.

In February 2011, after a European Arrest Warrant had been issued in a case in which prosecutors sought to question Assange in connection with a sexual-assault allegation, UKIP repeatedly reached out to Assange to see how they could work together. Assange has not been charged in the case.

The office of UKIP MEP Gerard Batten contacted Assange’s lawyer Mark Stephens about “the possibility of meeting Mr Julian Assange.”

They added: “So far, UKIP London has been only British political party to openly support Mr Assange fight against EAW and his freedom of speech, and we would very much like to continue doing so.”

UKIP AssangeBusiness Insider

Leaked minutes of a subsequent meeting between Batten and Stephens reveal that Batten promised to table a motion in support of the WikiLeaks founder in the European Parliament. The party also offered the opportunity of a joint video press conference in Brussels.

The Farage-led Europe of Freedom and Democracy group subsequently tabled a motion attacking “the possible abuse of the European Arrest Warrant for political purposes.”

Sitting alongside Farage, Batten called for the Parliament to debate Assange’s arrest warrant.

“Is the Assange case about the alleged crimes committed or is it about the desire of America to extradite him from a compliant European country?” Batten asked MEPs.

When the European Parliament denied the chance for a debate on Assange, Batten later called them “contemptible.”

In an appearance on the Russian state broadcaster Russia Today, Batten also labelled the attempts to extradite Assange as a “legalised kidnap.”

A month later, the party organised a House of Lords event on the European Arrest Warrant with Assange’s lawyer as the star guest.

Senior UKIP figures including Farage and Steven Woolfe met with potential UKIP donors and journalists to speak out against the warrant.

One leaked email, sent by Farage’s former assistant Annabelle Fuller, suggests that he spoke with Assange’s lawyer at the event.

The Trump connection

Farage has also advocated on behalf of Assange since WikiLeaks’ involvement in the US presidential election.

Speaking on his LBC radio show in January, Farage repeated Assange’s denial of Russian involvement in the hacking of the Democratic National Committee and Democratic presidential nominee Hilary Clinton during the election.

“Julian Assange … is absolutely clear that all the information he has got is not from Russian sources,” Farage said.

The question of Farage’s trip to meet Assange was raised at a White House press conference on Thursday.

The White House press secretary, Sean Spicer, was asked whether Farage had visited Assange “on behalf” of Trump. Spicer did not answer the question, saying only that “I don’t keep [Farage’s] schedule. I generally don’t worry about what’s going on across the pond.”

Watch Trump’s spokesman questioned about Farage and Assange.

A representative for Farage was contacted for comment.

.

Hi,

as one commentator stated regarding Nigel Farage’s dinner with POTUS Trump:

‘Self-proclaimed anti-establishment man of the people Nigel Farage, the prophet of Brexit and Ukip demi-god, was in Washington, DC, to meet his big orange mate, President Trump.

The privately-educated bon vivant and scoundrel was spotted guzzling cocktails at the bar of the Trump International Hotel while he waited for Donald Trump to arrive’.

‘Farage, a peerage coveting ex-City boy, was among the first people to meet with Trump after his election win in November, and the two men, who hold each other in deep and lustful admiration, had a now-notorious picture together in Trump Tower’s golden lift’.

‘This time around, the photo is somewhat less iconic. Farage looks like some sort of TV prankster who bluffed his way past the US Secret Service and sat at an empty seat on Trump’s table. Only, Trump has noticed, and is telling an agent to off the random guy who just sat down’.

Another International commentators view was:

Fascinating Account (With Pics) Of What Goes Down When Trump Dines Out

It’s tough for the president of the United States to arrive anywhere unannounced, especially with all those pesky leaks that keep on coming out of the White House.

Every now and again, though, POTUS manages to sneak one past the press – well, almost.

Last Saturday, at around 8PM, the Donald rolled out of the White House and headed for a secret dinner at his new flagship property in Washington D.C., the Trump Hotel.

The press weren’t informed, but a journo called Benny Johnson received a tip off and booked the table next to Trump. What played out was a rather interesting evening, complete with daughter Ivanka and British twat Nigel Farage, so let’s get started. …

Source CLICK HERE

Farage was fortunate to have been spotted drinking alone, at the bar in his hotel near the White House, Farage had been forced to remain in Washington for an extra night having fallen foul of White House security that thus delayed him leading to his missing his plane back to Britain.

Trump had come with his daughter and her husband for a casual evening meal at Donald Trump’s Hotel, seemingly feeling sorry for Farage and his ‘Billy no mates’ session at the bar Trump invited Farage to join them for a meal.

Farage’s staff, most probably Ms. Ferrari with whom he has been living & travelling, rapidly Tweeted the event, for as we all know he is unable to use a computer, and as his estranged wife has informed the world he does not do his own Twitter.

Dinner with The Donald.
A fuller and seemingly better informed account follows – it all sounds very unpleasant to me, imagine eating at the table of a man who revels at being cheered and applauded for his very ordinariness and boorish behaviour in his own $Multi Million heavily leveraged converted warehouse – now The Trump Hotel in Washington – quite a good publicity stunt but when you can have the peace and privacy with family and friends just a few yards away in the White House for me it is no contest – rather than the brash need for applause and drug & bomb sweeps of the restaurant and eating surrounded by NSA agents!

Inside Trump’s Secret Dinner: A Side of the President You Don’t Ever See

Screen Shot 2017-02-26 at 3.02.43 PM

The animosity between the press and President Trump has reached a fever pitch in recent days. Much of the grudge match stems from access, or lack thereof, between the President and the press.

This week, there was an outcry from journalists as White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer hand selected certain outlets to join him in an off camera press conference. Trump regularly shucks his pool reporters, the members of the White House press designated to cover his every movement, so he can dine or golf in privacy. The practice of ditching the press pool is not exclusive to Trump, but highly controversial and frowned upon in journalist circles.

Last night, Trump went dark on the press again, leaving the White House with a pool reporter in tow who did not know where the President was going or what he was doing. From last night’s report:

Pool was escorted onto the South Lawn driveway at 7:32 PM, where we boarded vans in the presidential motorcade. Motorcade rolled out from the WH grounds at 8:14 PM. Destination unknown. POTUS has no public events on his schedule today.

The president was heading to his new flagship property in D.C., the Trump Hotel, for a private dinner at the BLT Steakhouse inside. Once the president arrived at the location, the reporter who was on assignment to cover him, Jordan Fabian of The Hill, was not let into the building and had to wait in the van outside for the remainder of the dinner, without a guest list or details of what was happening inside.

Inside the restaurant, I was seated at a table which I had booked hours earlier, directly next to where Trump would be dining.  I made the booking based on a tip from a trusted source. I was ready to tell the story no one else would get to see and was personally fascinated to observe how a restaurant prepares for a president — and how Trump interacts when he believes no press are present.

The night was a wild one. Here is what happens when President Trump goes to dinner.

Benny Johnson/Independent Journal Review

12:01 PM Saturday, February 25th: I received a tip from a well informed source that Trump would be dining at the BLT Steakhouse inside his Trump hotel at approximately 6 PM that evening. I had seen the president dine in the restaurant before following a campaign event held at the property in October. I assumed he would take his regular table, a circular velvet one in the back on the second level of the steakhouse. I called and made a reservation for the balcony level. I wagered that if the president did not show up, at least we would get some nice pop-overs.

5:50 PM: Arrival at the Trump Hotel.  One can instantly see there is heightened security. Intimidating, non-hotel staff guard the entry of the hotel, and two Secret Service members with earpieces stand outside the restaurant, observing those who enter. However, the lobby area and the restaurant remain open to the public. People freely come in and out of the building.

Inside the restaurant, on the first level, an uncommon guest is having a cocktail. It’s Nigel Farage, the Brexit leader and Trump ally, who is sitting at a table with three other people. Nigel is on what looks like a serious phone call. Our party is seated at our table upstairs, but it is rather clear that the entire staff is on edge.

The view from our table. Benny Johnson/IJR

6:15 PM: Our waiter, a very courteous man named Ivan, introduces himself. Behind him is a flurry of activity. The circular table I assumed Trump would be dining at is surrounded by staff, primping and preening it. A golden metal ‘Reserved’ sign sits atop it.

The managers of the property swoop in to look at the table every few minutes. They wear earpieces, which is odd for restaurant staff, and speak in rushed, hushed tones to each other. The occasional security person buzzes the area discretely. I ask Ivan if all this on-edge staff and security is normal. He plays it coy and merely says, “You’re in for a treat tonight.”

Nervous waiters guarding Trump’s table. Benny Johnson/IJR

6:45 PM: Our bacon tower appetizer arrives. Highly recommended.

Benny Johnson/IJR

7:01 PM: Large men with earpieces enter the dining area. They are carrying black bags. They meticulously check the Trump table, looking underneath it and behind it, and quietly speak to one another and the staff. The managers are getting nervous, rocking and fidgeting in preparation. They nit-pick the service of their staff down to the finest detail. One waiter gets berated for having a dirty napkin on his tray. The general manager of the entire property arrives for an inspection and seems pleased, but on edge.

Benny Johnson/IJR

7:15 PM: Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, and his wife walk up the stairs, past our table and are seated on the other side of the restaurant from the Trump table preparations. They are alone and dressed for a date night. Tillerson is wearing a blazer with no tie. The Secretary orders a martini and his wife orders what looks to be a Cosmo. They quietly chat with one another at their table. No major fanfare is made of their presence. Their waiter tends to them like any other customers.

7:27 PM: Security becomes less discrete. Armed men in black shirts with dogs sweep the Trump table. The highly trained dogs do not bother any of the diners but sniff where pointed, furiously, in and around where Trump is to dine. Another group of Secret Service members arrive. This group is carrying very official-looking luggage, and they inspect the space. The upstairs dining area is now at full capacity. Each table of guests are beginning to take notice that this will not be a standard Saturday night dinner. I leave to use the restroom and find Secret Service sweeping the men’s bathroom on the first floor. I am wanded by polite security as I return upstairs to my table.

Benny Johnson/IJR

7:35 PM: Two large parties arrive. One is a birthday party, seated near the Trump table upstairs in the steakhouse. People bring in presents. One man carries a gift bag which reads “You Old F**k” on the side of it. The other large party sits on the lobby couches. Approximately 20 millennial-aged cohorts in evening attire. Among them seems to be Tiffany Trump, but I have not confirmed this detail yet.

The group gets rounds of drinks and saber champagne service. With this service, a man wheels a cart up to your party, rings a bell to get everyone’s attention and uses a long knife to open a bottle of champagne, in this case Veuve Clicquot. The group cheers. Upstairs in the steakhouse, Tillerson and his wife are still dining quietly by themselves.

Benny Johnson/IJR

7:55 PM: A German Shepherd dog and armed officers can be seen patrolling the lobby of the hotel.

Benny Johnson/IJR

Benny Johnson/IJR

8:05 PM: A relatively peaceful, packed dining area is thrown into minor chaos as the restaurant manager receives word that the Trump table will be needing extra settings. A well dressed, sweaty, earpiece-clad manager sprints by our table telling his staff “Six! Six! Six!” Extra place settings are rushed to the Trump table as staff buzz around it in frantic preparation.

8:17 PM: Without any announcement or indication, President Trump enters the hotel lobby which bears his name, flanked on all sides by the Secret Service. Shock and astonishment fill the guests in the room. The woman next to me screams “Is it him? It’s really him! Oh my God! This is like a dream!” Trump is rushed by fans in the lobby as he makes his way to the steakhouse. Secret Service makes a barrier for him, and the President waves and shakes hands on his way. The young crew are the first in line. Also waiting in line as the President arrives is Nigel Farage.

Trump and Farage meeting in the lobby. Benny Johnson/IJR

Trump stops momentarily to speak with Farage and points upstairs in the steakhouse, seemingly inviting him to dinner.

The entire restaurant is now on its feet, cheering and applauding. Trump makes his way upstairs, waiving and stopping for a few selfies.

One woman shouts at him “Donald, it’s my birthday!” Trump stops and says “Happy birthday,” as he hugs the elated woman. “How about a birthday present? Let’s take a photo,” he says to her, afterward telling the woman she looks very young and has great skin.

Trump eventually sits precisely where I expected he would hours earlier. He is joined by Farage, Governor Rick Scott of Florida, and his daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner. My party sits just a table away, outside the president’s security barrier. Trump’s table is surrounded by agents facing outward, creating a barrier between the president and other diners. Waiters can be seen carrying large jumbo shrimp and sparkling water to the table to start the service. We are eventually, but politely, asked to sit back down at our respective tables.

8:25 PM: The President gets up and walks across the restaurant to his Secretary of State’s table. The President kisses Tillerson’s wife Renda, and he and Tillerson make small talk. They laugh and speak jovially for a few minutes as dinner guests who had been sitting next to Tillerson look on in stunned amazement. Another woman tells Trump it’s her birthday and gets a selfie. The woman tells me emotionally afterward that she had no idea Trump would be here. She booked the birthday dinner a month ago and said meeting Trump here was, “like meeting Walt Disney in Disneyland.”

8:30 PM: Trump leaves the Tillersons to their date night and heads back to his table. I get ahead of him and squeeze in one question, asking the President if he will be attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner this year. “No,” he says with a smirk, “You like that?” The crowd around me cheers in agreement as Trump sits down with his party.

8:45 PM: Trump is served his entree. According to a waiter, who wished to remain anonymous:

“The President ordered a well-done steak. An aged New York strip. He ate it with catsup as he always does. The sides and appetizers on the table were shared. Three jumbo shrimp cocktails were delivered before the meal. At one point, the President looked at his watch and remarked ”They are filming ‘Saturday Night Live’ right now. Can’t wait to see what they are gonna do to me this week.“ It was hard to serve him because he is so funny and relaxed, it makes you laugh.”

Trump talks jovially with his guests for the next two hours. His iconic hand motions fill the space as dinner is served.

Benny Johnson/IJR

9:31 PM: Tillerson and his wife cross the restaurant and enter the Secret Service barrier of Trump’s table. The Secretary of State makes small talk with Nigel Farage and the Trump family. The Tillersons say their goodnights to the party and leave the steakhouse to cheers and handshakes from other guests. I am told by restaurant staff that Trump picked up their tab for dinner.

Tillerson and Farage, laughing. Benny Johnson/IJR

10:14 PM: Trump and his party get up to leave. The president is stopped momentarily for selfies and handshakes. Discretely, Trump can be seen handing cash to one of the latino busboys for his table. The president handed the young man a $100 bill.

Trump hands a young busboy $100. Benny Johnson/IJR

The President exits the restaurant and addresses a long line of adoring visitors waiting for him in the hotel lobby.

Benny Johnson/IJR

Trump signs some items, takes some photos and pauses just before leaving, joining in on a “USA” chant while pumping his fist.

10:20 PM: Trump exits the building.

11:01 PM: Nigel Farage can be found wandering the lobby of the hotel with a large glass of red wine. His teeth are wine-stained, and the British politician is happily swaying and speaking with anyone who approaches him. I ask what it is like to come to the United States and have the President ask you to dinner. Farage says:

“Well it’s really quite wonderful. But as I’ve gotten to know Donald, it really just does not surprise me. You know what amazes me about your President? He is a regular bloke. Truly. Just a normal chap. Upstairs at dinner, he spoke to the table like any regular guy out to dine with friends and family. There is no pretension at all.”

I pressed Farage for further details on what the president spoke about at dinner, and the Brexit leader just laughed and said it was nothing that interesting, with a smirk and a wink.

That is what it is like to have dinner next to President Trump.

.

Hi,

a fortuitous selfie on which a sales rep can build a sales pitch:

Your gold door’s worth more than my house! The riotous inside story of Farage and his Ukip posse’s astonishing coup as he became the first foreign politician to meet President-elect Trump

  • Nigel Farage has become first UK politician to meet the president-elect
  • Ukip leader visited Trump Tower penthouse with key Brexiteer allies
  • Selfie of British quartet outside the opulent residence tagged ‘Brex Pistols’

The smiles in the photograph say it all. A jubilant Nigel Farage and his closest Brexiteer allies grin as they celebrate meeting president-elect Donald Trump.

Standing outside the breath-takingly opulent gold-and-diamond front door of the £80million penthouse in Trump Tower, New York, the British quartet – Ukip donor Arron Banks, Mr Farage, Leave.EU communications chief Andy Wigmore and former Ukip aide Raheem Kassam – look on top of the world.

And they have even given their gang a nickname – the ‘Brex pistols’.

The sight of Mr Farage’s beaming visage alongside Mr Trump has caused consternation not just in Downing Street but in capitals throughout the EU.

Theresa May has had to be content with a mere telephone call from Trump – and even then she had to wait until nine other countries’ leaders were called, although at least she was ahead of Germany and France.

Nigel Farage (pictured centre with Donald Trump) met the president-elect in his Trump Tower penthouse with Ukip donor Arron Banks (second from left), Leave.EU communications chief Andy Wigmore (second from right) and former Ukip aide Raheem Kassam (right). Mr Trump's pollster Gerry Gunster (pictured left) helped with the Brexit campaign and also joined the gathering on Saturday night in New York

Mr Trump’s pollster Gerry Gunster (pictured left) helped with the Brexit campaign and also joined the gathering on Saturday night in New York

In contrast, Farage was given a tour of new leader of the free world’s New York home with its floor-to-ceiling marble, gilded columns and pilasters, its gaudy crystal chandeliers dripping with gilt, and a huge fresco depicting the Greek god Apollo crossing the heavens in his chariot.

Farage and four of his close allies from the referendum campaign were mesmerised by the lavish surroundings they found themselves in – a Renoir on the wall was ‘magnificent’, commented one of them, while the bronze classical statue of Eros and Psyche was ‘striking’ and the views overlooking Central Park were the best in New York.

Trump enlisted Farage’s help during the campaign because, like him, Farage was a political outsider – and had stunned the political establishment over Brexit.

Farage spoke at a political rally in Mississippi for Trump in August, and Trump had famously issued that clarion cry: ‘It’s gonna be Brexit plus, plus, plus!’

The invitation for Farage to join Trump in New York came in the early hours of Wednesday when it was clear Hillary Clinton was heading for a shock defeat. It was offered by Steve Bannon, chief executive of the Trump campaign, who has been hotly tipped to play a key role at the White House.

Farage was already in the US because he had been making a speech in Florida and was scheduled to appear on chat shows. Arriving at Trump Tower on Saturday, he had expected to have talks with some of the victorious campaign team, and perhaps come back for a brief chat with Trump the following day, the president-elect’s diary permitting.

A selfie taken outside Trump Tower and posted on Twitter shows (left to right) Mr Kassam, Mr Banks, Mr Farage and Mr Wigmore. Mr Kassam tagged it ‘The Brex Pistols’

But that was not what took place at all. Farage and his party’s visit coincided with an anti-Trump protest of 30,000 people outside Trump Tower – and a nervous US Secret Service ordered the building to be ‘locked down’. No one was allowed in or out for four-and-a-half hours.

At one point, Farage and his team ventured on to a 21st-floor balcony for a cigarette, looking down on the milling mob of protesters. Security ordered them in, fearing they could be a target for snipers.

It was as he was drinking coffee with Bannon that Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway walked past. She stopped in her tracks when she saw Farage, whose performances in Mississippi and on TV had gained him notoriety among the Trump team.

Conway – tipped to be White House Press secretary – embraced Farage and said simply: ‘Let’s go and see the president. He wants to see you.’

They took two escalators to reach the penthouse then Farage and his party were ushered in around 4pm. They left about an hour later – having organised selfies in front of Trump’s gold-and-diamond door.

‘It’s real gold, you know,’ they were told. ‘And worth more than my house,’ quipped one of them, a multi-millionaire, in return.

After the Brexit result, this was the coup of Farage’s life. So how did the 52-year-old, who has failed seven times to be elected to the Commons, manage it? He beat not only prime ministers and presidents but also many senior Republicans in the race to break bread with the man who, in two months’ time, will be the most powerful on the planet.

The key lies not just with larger-than-life Farage, whose friendship with Trump was formed in the heat of battle on the campaign trail in Mississippi. But also with the four others who posed outside the apartment door. Each had a role to play.

Businessman Arron Banks, 50, is a former Tory donor who switched sides to Ukip in October 2014.

He had been planning to give the party £100,000 as an introductory gift, but upped the donation to £1million when former Tory leader William Hague condescendingly claimed he had never heard of Banks. It was a serious error by Hague. Banks, who made his fortune in insurance and owns diamond mines in South Africa, became utterly committed to the Brexit campaign.

He wanted not only to secure an exit from the EU but also to humiliate David Cameron and the Tory high command – especially after they embarked on Project Fear.

He put £6.5million of his own fortune into the campaign for Brexit and recruited other rich businessmen to his Leave.EU cause.

One key appointment by Banks was Gerry Gunster, a Washington political strategist, who has worked on dozens of referendums in the US and boasts a 90 per cent success rate. On joining Leave.EU, Gunster advised making immigration a priority and targeting disaffected white voters who feared for their jobs and had seen wages driven down by EU migrants.

Crucially, Gunster knew leading figures in the Trump campaign and was at Trump Tower with Farage at the weekend. He was stood on the far left of the group picture.

Mr Kassam last month quit the Ukip leadership contest after it emerged he had posted offensive misogynistic messages about rivals on social media.

The 30-year-old has been London editor-in-chief of US news website and radio station Breitbart since May last year. He was chief adviser to Farage in the run-up to the last general election, in which the party received 4million votes and pushed the Lib Dems into fourth place.

It just so happens that Steve Bannon – the senior Trump aide who invited them to New York in the first place – is the most powerful figure at Breitbart in the US. And it was Breitbart that helped expose the recent sexting scandal involving the husband of a key Clinton aide, Huma Abedin – which Hillary Clinton blamed this weekend for her defeat.

Kassam’s misogynist leanings have an echo in Trump, of course. He had to apologise to Suzanne Evans, who is running for the Ukip leadership, after describing her as a ‘wrinkly old ginger bird’. He once called for SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon’s legs to be ‘taped together’ so she could not ‘reproduce’.

Another gold-plated connection came through 50-year-old Mr Wigmore. A businessman who works closely with Banks, he is a diplomat with the Belize High Commission in London working in trade and industry.

His pedigree includes running his own media company, a stint as a TV reporter, and working in the presentation department of Conservative central office.

Like Banks he became disillusioned with the Tories over their EU policies. More than ten years ago he successfully sued former justice secretary Michael Gove over allegations about his private life. Gove paid £10,000 in damages.

After the Republican Convention in July, when Trump was endorsed as candidate, the hard-drinking Wigmore and Farage were celebrating in a bar in Ohio late at night.

Wigmore introduced Farage to staff of Mississippi governor Phil Bryant, one of the few Republicans publicly backing Trump. They got on so well they were invited to meet Bryant the following month.

Four weeks later Farage, Banks, and Wigmore met at Heathrow to fly to the US. They downed three ‘cappuccino martinis’, one of Farage’s favourite drinks.

On the plane they got through four bottles of red wine.

They were picked up in a blacked-out limousine with security staff and whisked off to meet Bryant and his wife Deborah at their colonial-style mansion.

In the car an aide of the governor talked Farage through the schedule, which included an interview on Mississippi’s main radio station, a visit to the Mississippi government headquarters, lunch with supporters and a speech at a private fundraising event with Trump and his backers. It was to be billed ‘Mr Brexit meets Mr Trump’.

In his book The Bad Boys Of Brexit, Banks reveals Farage dominated the fundraiser. ‘The guests could not get enough of Nigel’s 25-year battle against the EU and victory in the referendum.’

Farage’s speech was given a standing ovation. Banks’ book says: ‘Trump called Farage back on stage and showered him with plaudits and drew parallels between the Brexit campaign and his own.’

Farage was given a tour of new leader of the free world’s New York home with its floor-to-ceiling marble, gilded columns and pilasters

Farage was given a tour of new leader of the free world’s New York home with its floor-to-ceiling marble, gilded columns and pilasters

Trump then got Farage to speak at an event in front of a crowd of 15,000 people later that same day. Trump dropped the former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, who had initially been scheduled to make the speech.

Farage duly whipped the crowd into a frenzy when he said Trump could – and would – win. ‘You can beat the pollsters in this presidential race. We did it with Brexit. You can do the same.

‘If I was an American citizen I wouldn’t vote for Hillary Clinton if you paid me. In fact, I wouldn’t vote for Hillary Clinton if she paid me.’

The crowd went wild. Trump loved it. After the speech, as Trump was heading to his private jet for the next leg of his exhausting election tour, he saw Farage, Banks and Wigmore and said: ‘Those boys look like trouble.’

Back in Britain, Farage was publicly criticised by senior Ukip figures for embracing Trump. They feared that it would damage the Ukip brand and they criticised him for becoming involved in an overseas election.

Farage told me last night: ‘Anyone who knows Donald Trump says he is very loyal to people who have been loyal to him. Trump knew members of my own party turned against me.

‘He appreciated what I had done. Meeting with us on Saturday was payback.

‘As for my own role, I would say that some of the noises about Trump coming out from the children advising Theresa May are so juvenile. Downing Street should be having a constructive conversation. If I can help that I will.’

After Farage’s success in Mississippi, Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway studied details of all the private polling in the referendum.

They talked to Gerry Gunster. They finessed their message about the impact of immigration on jobs and ruthlessly targeted white working-class voters who had traditionally voted Democrat.

They also closely studied Farage speeches and interviews, deciding to make a virtue of Trump being despised by the establishment of the Republican Party.

As the Clinton camp wheeled out ever more celebrities – from Madonna to Bruce Springsteen – Farage and Banks told Trump to boast about the fact they were ‘fighting on their own against the rest’. Banks, who is now considering severing his Ukip funding, said that, whatever Downing Street decides about Farage, he will be a player.

‘Trump and Farage are both charismatic. He can talk to Farage knowing they are not rivals but have the same outlook. It’s why he called himself the Brexit president. When we walked into the penthouse one of the first things Trump said was: “Do you think my win is as big as Brexit?”

‘Farage replied: “Brexit was the first brick in the wall. Your victory is massive.”’

Farage joked this week about the prospect of a job with Trump: ‘If he did offer me something I would quite like to be his ambassador to the European Union. I think I would do that job very well.’

After Saturday’s encounter, it might be a more serious proposition than anyone thought.

Hi,

for some understanding of why the British Government is unwilling to involve Nigel Farage in negotiations regarding BreXit and even less interested in his being linked with discussions with Britain’s discussions with POTUS elect Donald Trump may be gleaned from the first article below:

‘Spy MP’ helped Russian woman in mafia inquiry

Documents show that Mike Hancock involved himself so closely in the case of the second woman that he hand-delivered a letter to her

Daniel Foggo Published: 12 December 2010

A Liberal Democrat MP whose parliamentary assistant has been accused by MI5 of being a spy intervened to stop another young Russian woman being deported. She was being investigated by Special Branch detectives over possible links to the Russian mafia.

Documents seen by The Sunday Times show that Mike Hancock involved himself so closely in the case of the second woman that he hand-delivered a letter to her, confirming her permission to remain in Britain. Her husband at the time, whom she had married to stay in the country, has accused Hancock of having designs on his wife.

Hancock’s parliamentary assistant, Katia Zatuliveter, 25, is in detention awaiting deportation. MI5 believes she is an agent of the SVR, the Russian intelligence service.

The scandal has threatened to escalate into a full-blown diplomatic incident, with the Russian embassy insisting she is not an agent, and has raised questions over whether Hancock was compromising himself by becoming overly involved with young, attractive Russian women. Ekaterina Paderina, then aged 25, married Eric Butler, then 54, in 1998 within months of meeting him in Portsmouth, where Hancock is an MP. Butler said he was questioned by Special Branch in 1999.

“There were concerns about whether Ekaterina was in the country for legitimate reasons,” said Butler, now 66 and a retired ship steward.

Another source, who knew Butler and his wife, said he was also questioned by a Special Branch officer about Paderina.

“It wasn’t her specifically that Special Branch were interested in; she was merely a cog in what they were looking at,” said the source. “To put it very bluntly, they were looking at a Russian mafia connection to Portsmouth.”

Butler said he realised shortly after his wedding that Ekaterina had married him only so as to remain in Britain. Despite the marriage, the authorities made attempts to return her to Russia, and the couple approached Hancock for help. Butler said he quickly developed reservations over involving Hancock.

“I could see him looking at her in his office in a certain way,” he said. “One day I came home and found them both in the conservatory, and Ekaterina had her legs positioned in a way which was very provocative and Hancock was leaning forward in his chair. I got angry and told him I would thump him if he didn’t get out.”

Hancock wrote letters on Paderina’s behalf to Barbara Roche, the immigration minister at the time, supporting her application to stay in Britain.

An entry in Paderina’s diary in September 1999, seen by The Sunday Times, stated: “Mike Hancock arrived, we had a chat, he gave me a letter which said that I have been granted another visa for a year. Immediately it was like having a huge weight taken off my shoulders.”

After being divorced by Butler in 2001, Paderina quickly remarried another British man. Paderina, now 37 and with the married name Banks, said she had no knowledge of Special Branch’s interest in her. She denied ever having had an inappropriate relationship with Hancock and said she could not remember a confrontation between Butler and the MP in their house.

Of her relationship with Butler, she insisted their marriage had been “valid” but added: “I didn’t marry Eric Butler for love.”

Asked if her motive in marrying him was to stay in Britain, she said yes.

Hancock denied having behaved improperly with Paderina. He admitted writing letters on her behalf but denied any knowledge of police involvement.

When told of Paderina’s diary entry, he said: “I might have dropped off a letter at their house but I was certainly never in their house. I’m not that stupid.”

Now consider just why Nigel Farage and his motley crew may not be perceived by Donald Trump in quite the same manner as their ambitions, spin and self publicity may be perceived!

a-ukip-group-trump-01

That Donald Trump has been duped into consorting with these dubious individuals is potentially, in fact may already be, a reasonable cause for ire on his part – if it is not and he subsequently realises just how much his aids and allies have failed him that anger could be wider spread.

On the other hand if Donald Trump genuinely & wittingly chose to consort with these individuals it is a very poor reflection on him and should be of great concern to the American peoples who elected him as POTUS Elect and the world at large as it reflects attrocious judgement.

Such poor judgement may well be a clear justification of the lampooning article below as clearly Donald Trump has been duped into perceiving Nigel Farage as Mr. BreXit when he clearly had little or nothing to do with achieving BreXit and has consistently failed (8 times) to gain elected office in British domestic politicsdespite riding a populist band waggon.

Let us not forget Nigel Farage did all he could to prevent a Referendum on whether Britain left or remained in the EU – He did absolutely nothing to oppose the new EU Constitution subsequently enacted as The Lisbon Treaty, he and his team have repeatedly brought Britain into disrepute with their ogvert womanising and drunken loutish behaviour, not to mention childish antics and posturings eg. dressing as chickens, being cautioned by police for demonstrations few noticed, driving around like excited schoolboys with war time scout cars on public highways etc. etc.

Let us also not forget Nigel Farage’s goffer and sewer rat Mark Croucher’s drubbing in the Courts when they tried to set me up for bankruptcy with a dishonest claim in the Courts which found against them and their subsequent failure to pay the £13,000+ they were shown to owe me by the Court and failure to honour British Justice and pay their dues!

Then of course we take note of the fact that to try to block the petition of over 2.1/4 Million signatures that obtained the debate in the House of Commons on Britain’s future relationship with the EU and the resultant Referendum Nigel Farage was shown in Court to have dishonestly colluded with John Ison to try to set Nikki Sinclaire, who founded and managed The Petition that brought about the Referendum, they failed in their criminal conspiracy and Nikki Sincliare was totally exhonourated of the dishonest claims made.

These people Donald Trump’s team have foolishly presented to him should have no role in diplomacy  or British domestic politics they in no way represent the values that our ancestors willingly gave their lives to enshrine in British justice, tollerance or daily life – They are largely beneath contempt. At least Donald Trump obtained the public vote that swayed the Electoral College to elect him as POTUS Elect let us not add to his problems by linking him in any way with the likes of Farage and his mottley crew of nere do wells.

As an asside: Just what is the fascination with trophy wives from behind the Iron Curtain and the fascination with the brutish politics of Russia, its satelites and its President that seems to hold these men in thrall? Clearly some amongst them are clearly a security risk, as is the ready willingness of RT to propagandise their dissidence!

US presidential election: Forecast failure

09 November 2016

A surprise victory for Donald Trump triggered volatility on markets, but investors should recall the lessons of the Brexit vote.

The victory for Donald Trump in the US presidential election appeared highly improbable only a couple of weeks ago; but it was always expected to create uncertainty and short-term volatility in markets. An initial ‘risk-off’ reaction was the likely result; bigger questions, such as over trade relations and fiscal policy, will be answered at a much slower pace.

In the meantime, it is important that investors sit tight and remember that such short-term fluctuations are an inevitable feature of markets, and do not alter the fundamental need for individuals to save and invest for their future.

Undeniably, Trump represented the ‘change candidate’; but regardless of the result, it is important to remember that the economic powers of the president are limited. Once in power, most presidents tack towards the centre. The reality is that major changes to the US economy have not corresponded with political shifts and there is little historic evidence that the US economy performs better under any particular political hue. The relationship between growth and who sits in the Oval Office is tenuous at best.

After an initial shock, markets may reflect that the checks and balances of the US political system will somewhat limit the new president’s freedom of action. Those who fear Donald Trump’s anti-trade stance will doubtless be reassured that even a Republican-controlled Congress is unlikely to simply rubber-stamp any extreme protectionist policies, not least because the Republican Party has generally favoured free trade. Moreover, the uncertainty created by the result may stay the hand of the Federal Reserve in raising rates, which should boost equity markets; should the dollar lose value on a sustained basis, it would also act as a cushion. The 10-week wait until Inauguration Day provides a further chance for initial fears to subside.

Trump will inherit a growing US economy that has recovered well from the financial crisis and is fundamentally strong, with corporate earnings on an improving trajectory. This should continue to give support to long-term investors. Uncertainties lie ahead but markets have dealt with similar recent concerns and volatility, such as in the aftermath of the Brexit vote, and reached new highs. Indeed, given the similar shock with which the result was received, the UK’s Brexit vote could even provide something like a road map over the next few months.

The reality of a Trump administration will only be known in time, but the key principles of investing still hold true, whatever the election outcome. Individuals should continue to put in place long-term plans for their financial future and not be distracted by short-term events. Skilled investment managers are best-placed to make the decisions that can help protect investments against a range of risks – political or otherwise.

& on a lighter note:

“Hey Barack! It’s Donald. HELP!” – Trump calls Obama for guidance

Trump’s first call as President will be to the last one to find out how to preside

Now we know why Barack Obama and Donald Trump looked so uncomfortable in their first meeting at the White House.

According to the Wall Street Journal: “Mr Obama walked his successor through the duties of running the country, and Mr Trump seemed surprised by the scope.”

Even Trump’s aides – who are supposed to be the experts here – were “unaware the entire presidential staff… had to be replaced”, it added.

After what must have been an epic facepalm, “Mr Obama realised the Republican needs more guidance. He plans to spend more time with his successor than presidents typically do”.

So what might that “guidance” be like? Here’s the first, imagined phone call between the two…

“Hello? Is it me you’re looking for?” (Photo: Getty)

*War of the Worlds theme rings out*

“Hi Donald.”

“Oh hi Barack! How did you know it was me?”

“You have a special ring tone.”

“Oh COOL! Is it All The Single Ladies?”

“No.”

“Is it that Robin Thicke one?”

“No. Look, anyway how are things going? I know we agreed you could have my number and call if you needed any guidance but it’s day one, Donald. Aren’t you busy settling into the Oval Office?”

A bald eagle pecks at presidential candidate Donald Trump during a photo shoot for TIME magazine
If you didn’t have a fluffy bunny on your head the eagle wouldn’t peck it, Donald

“Not really, Barack. There’s a damn great eagle in here and I.T. haven’t given me a password to log on yet. Where are you anyway?”

“Hawaii. Where I was born. Remember?”

“Oh yeah. Hey, remember that wall I was going to build? I got some bricks! And a cement mixer! From the same people who built Trump Tower.”

“Weren’t they allegedly mob fronts? Who allegedly protected your construction site from a city-wide strike for reasons no-one can fathom?”

“Yeah! Same guys!”

TRUMP FTW (Photo: Comedy Central)

“You’re going to need very big pre-cast slabs of concrete to build that wall, Donald.”

“OK that’s what we’ll do. Make ’em and drive ’em down and then stand them all in a row.”

“You would need slabs about 40ft high and 10inches thick, that would be planted 7ft in the ground. It’s uneconomic to move them thousands of miles. You’d have to make the slabs near the wall.”

“Sure, sure. We can do that. New jobs. The best jobs. Make America Great Again!”

“You don’t understand Donald. Concrete is made from aggregate you have to quarry. There aren’t enough quarries for that near the Mexican border. The nearest concrete facility is in fact Mexican.”

“Bummer.”

“And before you ask Donald, a fence has lots of the same problems” (Photo: Getty)

“And because a lot of the border is inaccessible desert and mountains you’d have to build some roads to get the work crews out there. And then dig 7ft into rock to put the slabs in, put some razor wire on the top, cameras, staffing. The total cost is projected to be $15bn.”

“We’re going to borrow lots of money though. Make America Indebted Again!”

“Donald, you can do that. You can borrow some money. And you’re going to have to spend quite a lot of it on concrete and on recruiting a LOT more border guards because those guys all get pensions, you know.”

“I know this! I know this! That’s so we can deport all the migrants I got people worried about, isn’t it?”

“That’s right Donald, that’s what you said. You wanted to deport 11m people. More recently you said it’s 2m to 3m, so I’m not sure how many you want to deport now.”

Donald Trump
“Uh. Some? Dunno.” (Photo: Getty)

“As many as we can, Barack. DRAIN THAT SWAMP.

“OK Donald, 2m would mean 1,369 deportations a day, 365 days a year, throughout your term of office. That would need a lot of immigration officials, two jumbo jets a day, a suspension of the legal appeals process and removing the entire bottom tier of the US economy. No gardeners, no nannies, no garbagemen, no fruit pickers.”

“Well we can give those jobs to Americans!”

“Yes you can. But it would also mean fewer cars being bought, fewer goods and services, a lower tax take and probably a few more vigilante groups rounding immigrants up ‘to be helpful’, so probably some criminal justice costs too. Oh and all the decent baristas would be in Cuba.”

“My head hurts, Barack.”

“Mine hurt every day for eight years, Donald. Mainly because I kept hitting the desk with it whenever some dumbass on Twitter said my birth certificate was a fake.”

“Whatever. Hey you know that Chinese guy?”

“Which Chinese guy? In the canteen?”

“No, no, the one in China.”

“There’s a lot of Chinese guys in China, Donald.”

“The one in charge. The boss. I’m going to really piss him off and put 45% tax on everything he sends over here! Great, huh?”

“Is that a good idea Donald?”

“It’s a great idea! It’s one of mine! Everyone says it’s the best idea EVER.

“That would start a global trade war with every nation raising or lowering tariffs in order to attract the best goods and services, with knock-on economic effects for the Earth’s 6bn inhabitants, diplomacy and global conflict, Donald.”

“Well Nigel liked it” (Photo: Twitter / Nigel Farage)

“Well, OK, OK, all right then how about this? I’m going to make it easier for people to access and pay for two- and four-year technical and vocational college courses so they can all get better jobs.”

“That’s a great idea Donald.”

“It is? You think so? WOW. I totally like thought Ivanka was stupid when she suggested it.”

“Are you going to do it while you’re in court defending Trump University against allegations of fraud by taking money for a course about your business secrets that didn’t actually reveal any?”

“Huh. Knew it was a dumb idea, I TOLD her. Anyway guess what guess what guess WHAT.

“What?”

“I got Vladimir coming for a sleepover!”

“We’re gon’ shoot stuff!”

“That’s great Donald. He didn’t want to come over when I lived there.”

“Ha! I knew it. I’m so much more popular than you. LOSER.

“I won more votes than you. Twice. Even Hillary got more votes than you and you told everyone she’s a witch.”

“Well me and Vlad are like best buds now. We’re going to fight ISIS.”

“And how are you going to do that, Donald?”

“We’re going to shoot all the guys with beards and not let any guys with beards into the country because they’re so like backward.”

“No, no, the thing, the thing under the desk.”

“The red thing.”

“You sure?”

“I’m sure. How about your tax cuts? How’s that going?”

“Oh I’m going to give a multi-billion dollar tax break to billionaires.”

“I’m sure that’s not what you promised Donald.”

“Oh yeah I said the middle classes but it’ll be billionaires too, so that’s cool. And corporations. And I’m going to close bits of the internet that ISIS uses. And scrap most of your dumb doctors and nurses thing. And, and, and I’m going to keep Guantanamo Bay open and send Hillary there.”

“Oh right. Hey Donald, guess what I just worked out?”

It all sounds LOVELY (Photo: Getty)

“What?”

“It sounds like America is going to have a big wall to keep people apart, no money, a thriving black market economy, mobsters, little contact with the outside world, perks only for those who can afford it, and internet censorship. There might even be some white supremacists in there. You know where else is just like that?”

“No, where?”

“Supermax jail, Donald. You’re putting America in jail.”

“No, I’m just going to put the webby guy in jail.”

“Is that because he hasn’t given you a password yet?”

“No the other guy. The guy in the webby stuff.”

“He’s in the corridor. He runs after me all the time. He’s got webs all over his clothes. And there’s this guy with pointy ears on a mask, and some dude in blue pantyhose is drinking whisky in the kitchen.”

“That’s Spiderman, Batman and Superman, Donald. You can’t put them in jail. They’re the good guys. Well, Superman will be better in a bit.”

“They keep chasing me!”

“That’s their job, Donald. Without superheroes America would have pretty much nothing else going for it.”

“Oh yeah? How about the French toast?”

“That’s French, Donald.”

“The cars?”

“Japanese.”

“Our iPhones!”

“Made in China.”

“DAMMIT, BARACK. This is so HARD.”

“I know, man. That’s partly why we have a year and a half of presidential hustings so we get the absolute best candidates who know their stuff. Something must’ve gone wrong this time.”

“Yeah well guess what, I’m only going to get paid $1 for this job.”

“I heard that. Is that on top of the corporation tax breaks, billionaire tax breaks and inevitable financial scandals?”

“Screw you, Barack. I don’t need your ‘guidance’. I totally know what I’m doing. I’m going to make America great again!”

“Are you spelling that G-R-E-A-T or G-R-A-T-E?”

“You’re FIRED Barack.”

“We’ve been over this. You can’t fire someone whose contract expired.”

“Oh yeah, I forgot. Hey Barack?”

“What?”

“Can I call you tomorrow?”

.

Hi,

I am, I said…

November 9th, 2016.

Just days before the US Presidential elections, the London Evening Standard published an op-ed by Nigel Farage MEP on the race to the White House (Trump is not perfect but he is the agent of change we need- Nov 4th).

Farage drew parallels between Trump’s supporters and those who voted in favour of the UK’s withdrawal from the EU – Brexit – in June of this year. Certainly the campaigns have been similar, with concerns about security, the economy, health care, crime, and unemployment all being placed firmly within the contexts of immigration and Islamic Fundamentalism. This is populism at its most simplistic; find an enemy, and blame him for all your nation’s woes. This strategy of issue linkage draws everything together; buck-passing, safety in numbers, patriotism, and at the end, salvation through national sovereignty. It certainly worked in Germany in the 1930s.

But the most interesting aspect of Farage’s article, which begins with the words “I had always said…” is that Trump himself is used as no more than a prop to assist the UKIP leader onto centre stage.

“…my trip ended up with me not only being invited to attend a Donald Trump rally but I was suddenly informed that they wanted me to speak and that Trump would be introducing me.” To refer to oneself five times in the same sentence is not good form, to say the least.

In fact, Farage refers to himself no less than an astonishing 28 times, whilst Trump, supposedly the subject of the article, warrants just 13 mentions.

This is naked narcissism, nothing more, nothing less. Farage sees himself at the centre of everything.

Farage’s behaviour in respect of the leadership of UKIP is also enlightening.

First elected to the office in 2006, following the leadership of Roger Knapman, who was widely credited as being the architect of UKIP’s performance in the 2004 elections, Farage was to resign in 2009 in order to contest the Buckingham constituency in the General Election of 2010. He handed the helm to Lord Pearson, a UKIP peer. Nobody has ever satisfactorily explained this rather strange move.

Farage, who was convinced he was on his way to Westminster, failed to secure the seat with 17.4% of the vote, coming 3rd, behind, amongst others, a man dressed as a dolphin.

And so, he reclaimed the throne, becoming party leader for the second time.

He was then to resign again, in 2015, stating that he wanted to resume a normal life. However, new standards in political farce were set when UKIP’s National Executive “refused” to accept the resignation. So Farage was “forced” to unresign, and he came back for a third time.

Following the Brexit vote in June, he resigned yet again.

The ensuing leadership election was wrapped in the now familiar internal bitterness and acrimony, but it was to deliver an absolute gem: the winner of the election, Diane James, announced after 18 days that she didn’t actually want to be leader after all. And so Farage became de facto leader for the fourth time. Yet another leadership election is due to be held later this month; Farage has declared that he will not stand.

Following the shock win in the US Presidential election by Donald Trump, Farage is quoted in the UK press today as saying that he is seeking a role in the Trump administration, and that he would like to serve as Mr Trump’s ambassador to the European Union that he professes to detest so much.

You really couldn’t make it up!

You don’t buy much loyalty in Ukip for around £100,000, which is believed to be the price of buying Nigel Farage for a long weekend, paid by Donald Trump for his support of his vile & irresponsible behaviour!

.
Hi,
You don’t buy much loyalty in Ukip for around £100,000 but it does seem a period of brief support is for sale – I guess in politics there are always those willing to prostitute their integrity!
Who Does Nigel Farage Work For?

In April of this year, Nigel Farage, former city trader, former UKIP leader, warned US President Barack Obama about interfering with the UK referendum on ‘Brexit’. It was not his business, apparently. Obama is not British, after all.

His own involvement – or should that be interference? – in the Dutch referendum on the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with Ukraine was forgotten. That was different, of course. That was Nigel. Different rules apply when Nigel is involved.

It is generally accepted that the line of argument pursued by Farage on this issue was precisely the line that was bought and paid for by the Kremlin, which was heavily opposed to the FTA.

Now the formerly relevant Farage has popped up again, in the USA, campaigning for Donald Trump, who is seeking to become the first cartoon character to be elected to the office of US President. Trump’s political manifesto also seems to adhere to the Kremlin line. Such a coincidence. Indeed, close examination of Farage’s political colleagues in his EFDD political group in the European Parliament may also reveal a high level of similar ‘coincidence’.

Trump has been forced to drop certain staff with connections to the Kremlin, largely through the office of disgraced Ukrainian dictator and Kremlin puppet Viktor Yanukovych. Trump seems to have replaced his ‘useful idiots’ with – errr – Nigel Farage, once famously described as Kremlin funded media outlet Russia Today’s favourite British politician. Another ‘coincidence’.

It is rumoured that not only did Donald Trump fund a private jet to fly Nigel Farage to and from St. Louis to support him in the debate but that he paid him a further £25,000 and all expenses and of course the tax liable to the IRS! That, together with any broadcast fees he may have been paid by the likes of Fox and the consequential potential uplift in future fees from such as Russia Today (RT), due to the higher profile, makes for a very handy income for a weekend’s work!

Donald Trump campaign now disowned by Ukip leader Nigel Farage

  • Farage has been on the campaign trail with the tycoon Republican leader
  • Ukip figurehead supported Donald Trump’s controversial presidential bid
  • Now distancing himself from the American and disagrees with his views

By Annette Witheridge For The Mail On Sunday

Published: 18:18 EST, 15 October 2016 | Updated: 18:18 EST, 15 October 2016

Nigel Farage appears to be getting cold feet over his support for embattled US presidential contender Donald Trump.

Despite being on the campaign trail with the tycoon, the Ukip leader now claims he disagrees with him on ‘lots of things’.

And he believes there is ‘no question’ that the leaked tape of Trump boasting he can sexually accost women because of his fame has ‘really hurt him badly’.

Donald Trump had invited Ukip leader Farage to join him on the campaign trail

Having defended Trump for ‘alpha male boasting’, Nigel Farage is now moving to distance himself from the Republican’s campaign

Farage singled out Trump’s treatment of women, his plan to ban Muslims from entering the United States, and his derogatory comments about Mexicans as the subjects on which he most disagreed with the Republican candidate.

After watching the 2005 tape of Trump bragging he can grope women because he’s famous, Farage said: ‘I just saw this whole thing as sort of an extreme form of alpha male boasting.’

Quizzed on other issues by Jeremy Paxman for a BBC documentary tomorrow, Farage admitted: ‘There are lots of things in the campaign that I couldn’t support in any way at all.’

UKIP Consider Censuring Farage Over Trump Support

farage-nigel-01-trump

Anti-Faragist elements in UKIP are seeking to censure their leader over his support for Donald Trump. The party’s beleaguered NEC is meeting today to discuss the punishment for Steven Woolfe and Mike Hookem, as well as the rules on whether Woolfe, Raheem Kassam and Suzanne Evans are allowed to stand in the leadership election. If Woolfe receives any sort of suspension he will theoretically lose his status as a member “in good standing”, leaving him ineligible. Intriguingly there are also moves afoot to issue some sort of punishment against Farage for his trips to the States to appear on stage with The Donald. Unlikely to succeed but a measure of how factional the UKIP NEC has become…

Is Alexandra Phillips Accidentally or Deliberately Colluding In Ukip Sexism, by alluding to it but failing to expose it?

000a ukip-025 count.png

~~~~~~~~~~#########~~~~~~~~~~
.
Hi,
One has to wonder if Alexandra Phillips is playing games with her implied information or is in fact colluding in Ukip’s endemic sexism by keeping silent!
Just as Trump has blamed Hillary Clinton for having tollerated her husband’s phillandering and efforts to save her marriage 20 years ago as an excuse for his serial marriages, multiple mothers to his children and vile comments about women much more recently shows his mysogeny and contempt for women very clearly.
Just as Nigel Farage has brought shame on himself and Ukip by acting as an appologist for Donald Trump, showing his own very clear contempt for women.
As a young man I have been in the British Army and in ‘locker rooms’ of all types and never have I heard such vile mysogenystic comments as Trump made, only 10 years ago when he was 59!
I am disgusted that Nigel Farage considers this acceptable locker room talk, but far more disgusted that he is interferring in a foreign election, when he should be representing his constituents and earning his income as an MEP in Britain and the EU.
I well remember Nigel Farage’s very outspoken views regarding President Obama speaking out to support David Cameron’s misguided Remain Campaign – Nigel Farage’s hypocracy is merely Pot/Kettle!
  • Ex UKIP communications boss threatens to expose sexism in party
    By ARThomas  |  Posted: October 10, 2016
    Well, this could be ominous.
    Alexandra Phillips, who grew up in Gloucestershire has just defected from UKIP to the Conservatives.
    But in her work as communications director for the party she was present at some pretty high up meetings, and worked with people right at the top of the party.
    Read: Big Interview – UKIP media boss Alexandra Phillips
    And Ms Phillips has possibly suggested that some attitudes towards women in the party might not be as, well, evolved as they could be.
    She tweeted
    Some of those in UK politics mansplaining Trump’s vile sexism: I could expose THEIR treatment of women. I heard their conversations 1st hand
    We don’t know to whom Ms Phillips is referring.
    But we can say that former, and current leader of the party Nigel Farage defended Donald Trump.
    After a tape emerged of the Republican presidential candidate boasting about the way he treated women, in very vulgar ways, Mr Farage said: “Look, this is alpha male boasting. It’s the kind of thing, if we are being honest, that men do. They sit around and have a drink and they talk like this.”
    “By the way, quite a lot of women say things amongst themselves that they would not want to see on Fox News, or the front page of a newspaper. I’m not pretending it’s good – it’s ugly, it is ugly.”
    Some years ago, the former UKIP Godfrey Bloom faced criticism for calling women ‘sluts’ and saying they didn’t clean behind the fridge sufficiently.
Hi,
Nigel Farage and his ‘ex-mistress’ are dragged into Ukip leadership farce over claims he regarded his successor Diane James as ‘an utter b****’
  • Abuse towards James contained in leaked email sent by Annabelle Fuller
  • Fuller was once named in the European Parliament as Farage’s mistress
  • She now works for Mike Hookem who’s accused of hitting Steven Woolfe
  • The email was sent as James was standing for Ukip in by-election in 2013
Nigel Farage and his alleged ex ‘mistress’ were dragged into the Ukip leadership farce last night over claims that he regarded his successor, MEP Diane James, as ‘an utter bitch’.
The abuse is contained in a leaked email sent by Annabelle Fuller, who was once named in the European Parliament as Farage’s mistress.
She now works for Mike Hookem, the Ukip MEP accused of hitting party leadership favourite Steven Woolfe last week in Strasbourg.
Both Farage and Fuller vehemently deny any affair. Woolfe was one of the recipients of the ‘utter bitch’ email, sent as James was standing for Ukip in the Eastleigh by-election in February 2013.
In the message, dated a fortnight before James came within a whisker of claiming victory, Fuller said: ‘I understand from the man who knows best we’ve been lumbered with an utter bitch who is Marta Mk 2.’
‘Marta Mk 2’ is a reference to former Ukip MEP Marta Andreasen, who enraged Farage by defecting to the Conservatives in 2013, calling him ‘anti-women’ and a ‘Stalinist dictator’.
The email continued: ‘It’s down to you chaps to stop us having to work with an idiot and getting a bad result in this election.’
James plunged Ukip into fresh turmoil last week when she quit as leader after just 18 days, saying she did ‘not have sufficient authority’ to take the job.
She was also understood to have been upset by being spat at in public, and was concerned about her husband’s poor health.
I understand from the man who knows best we’ve been lumbered with an utter bitch who is Marta Mk 2. It’s down to you chaps to stop us having to work with an idiot and getting a bad result in this election…
When Fuller sent her email, James was poised to become the first person to win a Commons seat in Ukip colours – a feat that has always eluded Farage. She was second in the contest, coming within 1,800 votes of winning.
In 2014, Nikki Sinclaire, then a Ukip MEP, caused a storm by using parliamentary privilege to describe Fuller as Farage’s ‘former mistress’.
Shortly afterwards she stopped working for Farage. Now, in a bizarre twist, she has changed her name to Trixy Sanderson and is working for Hookem, who denies throwing a punch at Woolfe last week during a confrontation which led to Woolfe collapsing and being taken to hospital.
After Thursday’s incident ‘Sanderson’, 34, said: ‘Mike punched no one. He wasn’t there when Steven fell over as he was on his way to collect me.’
The row started after Woolfe was questioned over claims he had considered defecting to the Conservatives.
It is understood Woolfe backed out of discussions after failing to get a guarantee from the Tories of a seat to fight.
Woolfe insisted yesterday that his injuries supported his claim to have been attacked, saying a medical examination revealed injuries ‘that were inconsistent with just a seizure or a fall as a result of a seizure’.
But a spokesman for Hookem said that he would be ‘seeking legal advice in relation to Woolfe’s allegations’.
The fresh exchange came as Ukip MEP Roger Helmer said that there would be a ‘black mark’ over Woolfe’s leadership bid if a probe found he instigated the ‘altercation’.
A Ukip spokesman said: ‘I remember Annabelle being told off for sending emails like that, but I would be cautious about believing any quotes she attributes to Nigel. He was very impressed with Diane during Eastleigh.’
Fuller/Sanderson did not respond to messages.
Interestingly I hear that as soon as Mike Hookem had ‘punched’ Steven Woolfe as has been widely claimed Annabelle Fuller under one of her obfuscating aliases  ensured Mike Hookem left the EU Parliament in Strassburg to return to the UK – thereby removing him from the risk of saying the wrong thing to the media before a damage limitation was put in place!
I was further informed that almost immediately Annabelle Fuller started contacted various journalists under her alia by journalistss as ‘Trixie’ claiming Mike Hookem had not hit Steven Woolfe – this seems to have been prior to Steven Woolfe’s fits, collapse, CPR & emergency treatment & hospitalisation.
Interestingly I have been contacted by journalists regarding the ‘e’Mails, messages etc. from Annabelle Fuller about Diane James quoting Nigel Farage, as published on this web log and have been able to assure them there is absolutely no reason to doubt them – let us not forget Annabelle Fuller has a record of irresponsibility, dishonesty, obscenities and corruption. It was she who stole Andrew Bridgen’s Blackberry phone, House of Commons pass and confidential letters and then lied to avoid the consequences claiming dishonestly Andrew Bridgen had sexually assaulted her! – it is also widely accepted that she has been a sexual partner of Nigel Farage and intimate with him.
The very clear fact is the building in which the fight took place is heavily controlled with CCTV and I understand the committee appointed by Martin Schultz to investigate this issue having brought the EU into disrepute has requesitioned various CCTV recordings.
It is also very clear that Steven Woolfe is clearly unfit to lead Ukip either due to his health and/or as he has shown he can not deal with other MEPs in the Ukip team without issues devolving into chaos & bad publicity.
The tragedy for Ukip gets even worse when one realises there is absolutely no one of ability to act as leader and even less so one who could command the respect and support of the other MEPs, Officers and elected management and as has been widely publicised the owner of Ukip Arron Banks is blackmailing the party by speaking out publicly threatening to withdraw his financing unless he gets his own way – rather like some seedy drug dealer running a protection racket to protect his territory!
Ukip’s reputation is further damaged by Nigel Farage speaking out in defence of Donald Trump’s obscene, mysoginistic and abusive braggadocio regarding women, seeking to justify such behaviour – even implying that not only does he find it acceptable and justifiable but seemingly implying it is the sort of lewd and degrading behaviour he too would indulge in – Many will remember when criticised for his drunken loutish behaviour and womanising when caught with a prostitute  Nigel Farage excused himself by stating he was not seeking election as The Pope but merely as a politician!
I note Nigel Farage has advocated Donald Hump should justify his lewd, degrading and vile behaviour with the same disgracefull claim!
Regards,
Greg_L-W.
