#Nigel_Farage Seems To Seek He Is Remembered In Washington Beyond The FBI! …

The corruption of EUkip’s leadership,
their anti UKIP claque in POWER & the NEC

is what gives the remaining 10% a bad name!

And Bannon, too, had a healthy self-regard. On his office wall hung an oil painting of Bannon dressed as Napoleon in his study at the Tuileries, done in the style of Jacques-Louis David’s famous neoclassical painting — a gift from Nigel Farage.

I found this comment in an article I was reading about American politics which you can read at CLICK HERE

Intrigued I thought if I can find more it may prove interesting!

Here is an explanatory article from British media:

Nigel Farage gave Steve Bannon a painting of Bannon dressed as Napoleon

What gift would you give a media strategist who has the ear of President of the United States?

A new notebook to help organisation? Maybe a nice new pen? Possibly an expensive watch? All good logistical ideas.

However, if you are Nigel Farage your tastes might be slightly more, shall we say, extravagant.

The former UKIP leader has known White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon, since at least 2012, according to an interview Farage did with the New Yorker in November.

The aforementioned interview also details how, years later, he was due to be in Trump Tower to meet Bannon on the same day of this now infamous photo.

It was a great honour to spend time with @realDonaldTrump. He was relaxed and full of good ideas. I’m confident he will be a good President.

Farage, who has also written for Breitbart, the right-wing website that Bannon founded, has now been reported to have given Bannon a peculiar present, by writer Joshua Green.

My fav weird detail about Bannon: He had an oil painting of himself dressed as Napoleon in his office:

This extract, which has also been covered in New York Magazine comes from Green’s new book on Bannon, Devil’s Bargain.

Although it is unclear when the painting was given to Bannon it is certainly a bizarre present to give anyone, even if they are your mate.

For further context, here is the original version of the famous portrait by Jacques-Louis David.
