Yet another deluded fool who switched from the Conservatives in the hope he could enhance his self serving political career. He’s still wet behind the ears and now thinks that churning out Tory propaganda can somehow save his political ambitions. He’s not bright just stupid. Now he has no political future even within the Tory Party and fails to understand what being a councillor and party member really means. It is noticeable that he gives no specific reasons for re-defecting other than vague mention of policy considerations that shows he has not even bothered to read the UKIP manifesto. Thank goodness he has jumped ship and returned from whence he came and I hope the Conservatives welcome this vacillating little fool with open arms although I doubt it.

I would contend that a very big reason why Ukip’s potential has not and will not be realised is the rush to abuse by its leading lights and candidates, like yourself, who are unable to debate and promote their opinions and values in the face of any kind of opposition or questioning of their cult.
Personally I agree with the comment made of Ukip’s dependence on ‘nasty soundbites’ and clearly your comment confirms this.
I do however agree with you that he was foolish to join Ukip in any belief that he might enhance his position, were that the case – however he may genuinely oppose membership of the EU and realising that U*kip had no responsible ethical EU eXit & survival strategy he may have realised the best way forward to Leave_The_EU was to support the Tories who have promised an IN/OUT referendum if they are returned with a majority – a perfectly honourable opinion!
May I also draw your attention to the fact that Ukip had not produced its largely populist and unworkable manifesto at the time he defected to them originally.
